Love is in the Air

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Eigentlich bin ich ja der "Schmeiß-die-Reste-Weg-Typ". Aber auf dieser Karte kamen einige Elemente zum Einsatz, die ich tatsächlich einige Zeit aufgehoben hatte, mit dem Ziel, sie auf einer Karte zu verarbeiten. Und das habe ich dann auch tatsächlich getan, sogar zwei verschiedene Reste.

I am the "throw-away-those-leftovers" type of crafter. But on this card I used some elements that I had lying on my desk because I might be able to use them on another card. That's what happened, and I even used two different types of leftovers.

 

Ihr ahnt es bestimmt - es sind die roten Herzen und die Punkte aus silbernem Metallic-Cardstock. Ich weiß gar nicht mehr, von welchen Karten sie übriggeblieben waren, sie lagen doch einige Zeit auf meinem Tisch. Bevor sie mich so stören, dass sie doch noch im Müll landen, habe ich ganz bewusst eine Karte damit gemacht, die tatsächlich auf den Resten aufgebaut ist.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück hell-türkis farbenen Cardstock, in den ich mit dem Head in the Clouds Embossingfolder von Spellbinders Wolken eingeprägt habe. 

Mit Copics habe ich unter die Wolken jeweils einen Schatten gemalt und oben auf die Wolken Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt. Das lässt sie noch plastischer wirken. Dann habe ich feine Spritzer weißer Acrylfarbe aufgetragen.

 

You might already have guessed it - the leftovers are the red hearts and the dots made from silver metallic cardstock. I even don't remember, what cards those were left over from, they were on my desk for quite some time. So before I get sick of them and they and up in the trash, I decided to use them and really  started the whole card with these.

The background is made from a piece of light aqua cardstock, that I dry embossed some clouds into using the Head in the Clouds Embossinfolder by Spellbinders.

I used Copics to draw a shadow under each cloud and a white gel pen to add some highlights. This makes them look even more dimensional. Then I added fine splatters of white acrylic paint on top.

 

 Die Herzen und Punkte habe ich dann im oberen Bereich der Karte alls Streifen schräg aufgeklebt, so als würden sie über den Himmel fliegen. Auf die  Herzen habe ich etwas klaren Nuvo Aqua Shimmer aufgetragen und dann klar-irisierende Glitzersteine zwischen und auf den Herzen verteilt. 

 

I glued the hearts and dots as a strip across the top of the background, just like they are floating by in the sky. I added a hint of a clear Nuvo Aqua Shimmer to the hearts and then put clear iridescent rhinestones on and between the hearts.

 

 Unten auf die  Karte habe ich dann eine Maus aus dem Falling Star Set von ColoradoCraft aufgeklebt. Die sreckt beide Arme nach oben, so als würde sie eines der Herzen fangen wollen. 

Die Maus ist mit Copics coloriert, auf die Nase habe ich Glossy Accents aufgetragen. Dann habe ich sie per Hand ausgeschnitten.

Hier unten befindet sich auch der Text meiner Karte. Das Wort love habe ich mit der Swirled Love Stanze von Poppystamps gemacht. Es besteht aus drei Lagen schwarzen Cardstocks mit einer leicht versetzten roten Lage obenauf. Den Schnörkel am Ende des E habe ich entlang des Rands der Kante weggeschnitten. Auf die rote Lage habe ich wieder etwas von dem klaren Nuvo Aqua Shimmer aufgetragen.

Das kleinere "is in the air" darunter  ist aus dem Spring Stempelset von HoneyBeeStamps und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

 

At the bottom of the card I added a mouse from Falling Star by ColoradoCraft. She's putting both her arms up in the air, just like she wants to catch one of the hearts.

I colored the mouse with Copics and put some Glossy Accents onto the nose. Then I cut her out with my scissors.

Down here I also added the text to my card. The word love is made with the Swirled Love die by Poppystamps. I built it from three black layers with a red layer a bit offset on top. The swirl  at the end of the e I cut off along the edge of the background. Again I applied some of the clear Nuvo Aqua Shimmer to the red  layer.

The smaller "is in the air" under it is from the Spring stamp set by HoneyBeeStamps and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

 

 Die silbernen Punkte sind direkt, die Herzen mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Hinter die Maus und dem embossten Text habe ich dickes 3D Tape angebracht.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I glued the silver dots directly, the hearts with thin foam tape onto the background. The mouse and the embossed text I adhered with thick foam tape.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Typewriter-Karte zum Valentinstag

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Dieses Jahr habe ich ja nicht wirklich viele Valentinstagskarten gemacht. Heute aber habe ich eine weitere, die ich Euch zeigen kann. 

Ich habe dafür die PopUp Typewriter Stanze von ScrappyTails verwendet. Die Stanze ist als Kit mit anderen Sets, die hier teilweise ebenfalls zum Einsatz kamen, oder aber einzeln zu bekommen. Eigentlich ist sie für eine PopUp-Karte gedacht, ich habe sie aber ein wenig so abgeändert, dass eine flache Karte in Schreibmaschinen-Form entstanden ist. Das geht ganz einfach. Und langweilig ist die Karte trotzdem nicht, denn ich habe einen  Slider mit eingebaut... ;)

This year I didn't make many valentine's cards. But today I have another one to share with you.

I used the PopUp Typewriter set by ScrappyTails here. This die is available in the kit, together with other sets and a few of them I used on this card as well, or individually. Originally it is designed to make a PopUp card but I changed it a bit to end up with a typewriter shaped regular card. This is really easy to do. And the card still isn't boring because I included a slider here... ;)

 

Passend zum Valentinstag habe ich viel Rot auf dieser Karte eingesetzt. 

Die Basis der Schreibmaschine ist aus rotem Mirror-Cardstock gestanzt, der Aufleger aus rotem Glitter-Cardstock. Für die Details wie Tasten und Oberteil kam dann schwarzer und silbernen Mirror-Cardstock zum Einsatz. 

Um die PopUp Karte in eine flache Karte abzuwandeln, habe ich die beiden Seitenteile ein weiteres Mal ausgestanzt und entlang der Falzlinie, die eigentlich die Tastatur in ein PopUp verwandelt, abgeschnitten. 

Für die Kartenbasis habe ich dann die Schreibmaschine aus einem gefalteten weißen Kartenrohling so ausgestanzt, dass die Falz mit dem oberen Ende des roten Teils bündig war. Hier muss man dann auch gar kein Partial Diecutting einsetzen, denn die Stanze schneidet hier sowieso nicht. 

 

To fit the valentine theme I used a lot of red on this card.

I die cut the base of the typewriter from red mirror cadstock, the curved decorative piece from red glitter cardstock. For the details like keys and the top part I used silver and black mirror cardstock.

To turn this PopUp card into a flat card I die cut the two side pieces again and cut them off along the two scoring lines, that are meant to create the box for the keys.

For the card base I cut the typewriter from a folded white card base, alining the fold with the end of the red main piece of my card. You even don't have to do partial die cutting here because the die has no cutting line in this area.

 

 Die oberen Flächen der Tasten habe ich aus silbernem Mirror-Cardstock gestanzt. Und damit die Schreibmaschine auch schön vintage aussieht, habe ich alle Teile leicht mit einem Sanding Block angeschliffen, so dass der weiße bzw. braune Cardstock dahinter ein wenig zum Vorschein kommt. Ich fand, so eine schöne alte Schreibmaschine darf ruhig ein paar Macken haben. 

Wie schon erwähnt, ist die Stanze für eine PopUp Karte gedacht. So wirkt die Tastatur natürlich super plastisch. Damit meine nicht ganz so flach aussieht, habe ich jede der Tastenreihen mit zwei Lagen aus normalem schwarzem Cardstock hinterlegt und dann aufeinander geklebt. So hat auch meine Schreibmaschine etwas Tiefe. Die beiden zusätzlich ausgestanzten Seitenteile habe ich dann mit 3D Tape angeklebt, um die Höhe der Tasten auszugleichen.  

Das Love-Schild auf der Maschine ist ebenfalls aus dem Stanzenset und ich fand das als Marke hier super passend. 

Ein wenig Deko durfte auch hier nicht fehlen. Also habe ich die Mohnblumen aus dem Typewriter Blooms Set aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics in Grau und Rot coloriert. Da ich nur eine der Blumen aufkleben wollte, aber bereits beide ausgestanzt hatte, habe ich den Blütenteil der zweiten Blume einfach hinter die Blume geklebt und sie so voller gemacht. 

Die Blütenmitte habe ich aus normalem schwarzen Cardstock gestanzt, die Zweige dahinter wieder aus silbernem und schwarzem Spiegel-Cardstock. 

 

I die cut the upper parts of the keys from white mirror cardstock. And to give my typewriter a vintage touch I went over it with a sanding block to bring out the white and brown cardstock behind the shiny surface in just a few areas. I think, such a wonderful vintage typewriter could use some signs of its long life.

As mentioned already this die is made to create a PopUp card and of course that makes the keyboard very dimensional. To add at least some dimension to my typewriter I backed each row of keys with two layers that I cut from regular black cardstock and glued them on top of each other. Then I glued the two additional side pieces to the base using foam tape, to even out the thickness of the keys. 

Of course my card needed a bit of decoration. So I die cut the poppy flowers  from the Typewriter Blooms set from white cardstock and colored them grey and red using Copics. Since I decided to only add one flower, but had cut and colored both of them I simply glued the bloom of the second one behind this one to make it more full. 

I cut the flower center from regular black cardstock, the leaves behind the flower from black and silver mirror cardstock.

 

 So sieht die Karte aufgestellt aus - und Ihr könnt die Form des Kartenrohlings etwas erkennen. Außerdem sieht man hier den Glanz und Glitter auf der Karte besonders gut. 

Die Blume habe ich unten auf die Karte geklebt und die Karte mit ein paar silbernen Perlen dekoriert. 

 

This is the card all propped up - and you can see the shape of the card base better. On this picture you can also make out all the shine and glitter on it.

I glued the flower across the bottom of the card and added a few silver pearls as decoration.

 

 Und hier ist der bereits angekündigte Slider. Ich weiß nicht, wer von Euch überhaupt noch Schreibmaschinen kennt. Aber je mehr man schrieb, desto weiter kam das Papier aus dem oberen Ende der Schreibmaschine heraus. Das habe ich versucht, mit meinem Slider nachzubasteln...

 

And here's the slider that I included and already mentioned above. I have no idea how many of you still know typewriters. The more you wroter, the farther the paper came out at the top end. This is what I tried to mimic on my card...

 

 Im Typewriter-Set ist auch ein Papier für die Maschine enthalten. Ich habe hier aber die Rechteck-Stanze aus dem Valentine Playing Cards Set benutzt - einfach, weil ich unbedingt den tollen Schnörkelrand mit einbauen wollte. 

Ich habe das Rechteck  aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Lost Shadow und Hickory Smoke ein wenig gewischt. Dann habe ich unten einen Teil der tollen großen Blüte aus dem Typewriter Notes Stempelset aufgestempelt und dafür Lost Shadow benutzt. Ich weiß, dadurch, dass das Papier nicht komplett aus der Schreibmaschine herausrutscht, sieht man nur einen Teil der Blüte. Aber sie macht das Papier doch viel interessanter und romantischer. 

Den Schnörkelrahmen habe ich wieder aus rotem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt und aufgeklebt. Und ebenfalls aus dem Valentine Playing Cards Set sind die beiden Vögel. Die habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Einem habe ich ein Herz aus rotem Mirror-Cardstock in den Schnabel gegeben. 

Der "you are just my type" Text ist ebenfalls aus dem Typewriter Notes Stempelset. Um auch den rechten Vogel unterbringen zu können, habe ich die Anordnung der Worte etwas abgeändert. Das "just" befindet sich eigentlich in der ersten Reihe. Das geht aber mit dem Misti wirklich einfach. 

Als Tab zum Herausziehen des Papiers/Sliders habe ich die Klammer aus dem Valentine Envelope AddOn Set verwendet und aus dem selben Set noch das winzige Feb 14 verwendet und als Datum oben rechts auf den Brief geklebt. 

Für den Slider-Mechanismus habe ich dann einfach unten quer einen dünnen Streifen Cardstock an den Brief geklebt und die Schreibmaschine mit dünnem 3D  Tape zuerst auf einer aus weißem Cardstock gestanzten Schreibmaschine und dann mit flüssigem Kleber auf dem Kartenrohling befestigt. Die weiße Schreibmaschine habe ich einfach deswegen eingebaut, um eine saubere Rückseite zu haben. Das 3D Tape habe ich so angebracht, dass der Brief nicht beim Auf- und Abgleiten behindert wird. Aber das generelle Prinzip einer Slider-Card sollte jedem bekannt sein. 

 

There's also a sheet of paper included in the Typewriter set. I didn't use that here but went with the rectangle from the Valentine Playing Cards set - simply because I wanted to include the beautiful flourish frame, too.

I cut the rectangle from white cardstock and lightly shaded it with Distress Ink Lost Shadow and Hickory Smoke. Then I stamped a part of the wonderful and large flower from the Typewriter Notes stamp set onto the paper using Lost Shadow ink. I know, since the paper can only be pulled out a bit more than half you don't see much of that flower, but it still  adds some interest to the letter  and makes it more romantic.

I die cut the flourish frame from red glitter paper and glued it on. And those little birds are also from the Valentine Playing Cards set. I cut them from white cardstock and colored them with Copics. I added a heart, cut from red mirror cardstock, to one of the birds.

The "you are my type" text is again from the Typewriter Notes stamp set.  To have enough room for the bird on the right side I changed the arangement of the words slightly - the just is originally in the upper line. But that's an easy fix thanks to the Misti. 

As a pull tab I added the large clasp from Valentine Envelope AddOn and also added the small Feb 14 from the same set as the date in the upper right corner of the letter.

For the slider mechanism I simply added a thin strip of cardstock to the bottom of the letter and glued the typewriter with thin foam tape to a typewriter cut from white cardstock, then glued this sandwich to my card base. You can skip the white typewriter, I just like to have a clean back. When adding the foam tape I made sure that the paper can slide up and down freely. But I think the general technique behind a slider card is commonly known.

 

LawnFawnatics Challenge #213

Keine Angst, ich habe noch einige mehr Winterkarten im Gepäck. Aber auch der Valentinstag steht vor der Tür. Und da ich die nächsten Wochen nicht in mein Bastelzimmer kann, habe ich schon mal ein wenig für diesen Tag gebastelt. 

 Entstanden ist die Karte für die aktuelle LawnFawnatics Challenge mit dem Thema Lots of Hearts.

Don't worry, I have quite a few more winter cards to share. But also Valentine's will be here soon. And because I can't get into my craftroom for a few weeks I started my valentine's crafting already.

I made this card for the current challenge over at LawnFawnatics with the theme of "Lots of Hearts". 

 

Auf dieser Karte habe ich alte und neue Produkte von LawnFawn kombiniert. 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich den Quilted Heart Backdrop Portrait aus hell-türkis farbenem Cardstock gestanzt und an den Rändern mit etwas Distress Ink Peacock Feathers abgedunkelt.

Im oberen Bereich habe ich zwei Herzgirlanden quer über die Karte gespannt. Die habe ich mit Stanzen aus dem Set Heart Garland Backdrop Landscape gemacht - die Banner aus schwarzem, die Herzen aus rotem Cardstock.  

 

On this card I mixed older and new products by LawnFawn.

For the background I die cut the Quilted Heart Backdrop Portrait from light aqua cardstock and darkened the edges with a bit of Distress Ink Peacock Feathers.

In the top area of the background I've hung two heart garlands across the card. I made those using dies from Heart Garland Backdrop Landscape and cut the bannner from black, the little hearts from red cardstock.  

 

Das Hauptelement meiner Karte ist gleichzeitig Teil des Textes. 

Ich habe die Giant Outlined Love Stanze benutzt und die Basis aus schwarzem und weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Das schwarze Stanzteil habe ich dabei als Schattenlage verwendet.

Die Buchstaben habe ich je 3 Mal aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt, gestackt und auf die Basis geklebt.

 

The main element on my card is also part of the text.

I used the Giant Outlined Love die and cut the base from black and white cardstock. I used the black die cut as a shadow layer.

The letters I cut each three times from red cardstock, stacked them and adhered  them onto the base. 

 

 Das Herz im Wort Love, das das O ersetzt, habe ich in einen kleinen Shaker verwandelt. Ich habe ein hellrosa farbenes Herz hinein geklebt, noch drei weitere rote Herzen aufgeklebt und den Shaker mit kleinen rosafarbenen und klar-irisierenden Kügelchen gefüllt.  

Außerdem habe ich dem Herz Flügel gegeben. Dafür habe ich die Flügel aus dem ebenfalls neuen Build-a-Critter Valentine's Accessoires Set zweimal aus irisierendem Vellum  gestanzt, mittig geteilt und leicht versetzt hinter das Herz geklebt.

 

I turned the heart in the word love, that's used as the O, into a little shaker. I glued a light pink heart into the frame, added three more red outline hearts and filled the shaker with tiny pink and clear-iridescent beads. 

I also added some wings to the heart. I cut the wings from the also new Build-a-Critter Valentine's Accessoires set two times from iridescent vellum, cut them apart in the center and glued them a bit offset behind the heart.

 

 Oben auf das L habe ich ein kleines "with" geklebt - der Rest des Textes befindet sich auf einem Banner, das ich quer über den unteren Bereich des Wortes Love geklebt habe. Ich wollte ein möglichst schmales Banner und habe deshalb eines von Create a Smile benutzt und aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt. Darauf habe ich dann "from me to you" weiß aufembosst. Für die gestempelten Textteile habe ich Stempel aus dem Set Offset Sayings Christmas benutzt. 

Außerdem habe ich eine kleine Schleife aus silber und weißem Twine auf dem V befestigt. 

 

I glued a small "with" to the L - the rest of the text I stamped onto a banner, that I glued across the lower half of the word Love. I wanted a banner as thin as possible so I used one by Create a Smile and cut it from black cardstock. I white heat embossed a "from me to you" onto it. For the stamped parts of the text I used stamps from Offset Sayings Christmas.

 I also adhered a little bow, tied from silver and white twine, to the V of the word Love.

 

 Hinter dem Wort Love befindet sich 3D Tape, auch das Bannner habe ich damit aufgeklebt.

Als Deko habe ich einige silberne Perlen auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. Durch die Herz-Ausstanzungen im Hintergrund sieht man das Weiß hindurch.

 

I put foam tape behind the word Love and also used it to adhere the text banner.

I added some silver pearls as decoration and then glued the card panel to a white note card. The white is visible through the little hearts, that are cut from the background.

 

Sending Love, Hugs and Kisses

Heute habe ich eine Karte, die schon ein wenig Valentinstags-inspiriert ist. Ich brauchte unbedingt mal eine Abwechslung von all den winterlichen Farben.

Today I have a card to share, that is a bit valentine's inspired.  I really needed a break from all the wintery colors.

 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich per Ink Smooshing mit Distress Ink Lumberjack Plaid die Mitte eines Stücks Watercolor Cardstocks eingefärbt. Bei dieser Karte war bereits einiges schief gegangen und als ich die erste Lage aufgetragen hatte, musste ich an einen großen Blutfleck denken. Und weil ich mir kurz davor in den Finger gestochen hatte, hatte ich den direkten Vergleich. Aber nach einigen weiteren Lagen sah es dann doch aus wie geplant.

Mit einem Texthintergrund von Studio Light habe ich dann oben links und unten rechts den Hintergrund etwas interessanter gemacht. Ich habe ihn per Second Generation Stamping mit schwarzer Tinte gemacht. 

Auf den Hintergrund habe ich dann noch rote Glitter-Watercolor aufgespritzt.

 

For the background I did some ink smooshing with Lumberjack Plaid to color the center of a piece of watercolor cardstock. There had already a lot of stuff gone wrong with this card and after applying the first layer I had to think of a large blood stain. I had just  pricked myelf with a needle and had the perfect comparison. But after a few more layers and spots I was happy with the color.

I used a text background stamp by StudioLight to add a bit of text to the top left and bottom right of the background. I did that with black ink, doing second generation stamping to tone it down a bit.

I then splattered some red glitter watercolor onto the background.

 

 Hauptelement auf meiner Karte ist dieser süße Bär von HoneyBeeStamps. Er ist aus dem Set Heart Hugs, ich habe ihn per Partial Diecutting ein wenig verlängert. 

Eigentlich hatte ich ihn dann mit Watercolors coloriert. Aber beim Auftragen der Augen mit einem schwarzen Glaze Pen, habe ich es geschafft, eines der Augen quer über das Motiv zu verwischen, er war nicht mehr zu retten. Also musste ich von vorne beginnen. Und weil ich mit Copics dann doch sehr viel schneller bin, habe ich den zweiten Bären dann damit coloriert.  

Auch hier sind die Augen mit einem Glaze Pen gemacht, die Nase ist mit Glossy Accents überzogen. 

Statt eines der Herzen aus dem Stanzenset  hält der Bär auf meiner Karte das herzförmige O des gestanzten Worts Love in den Händen. 

Ich habe den Bären dann noch mit Elementen aus dem Build-a-Critter Valentine's Accessoires von LawnFawn versehen. Die Fügel sind aus weißem Glitter-Cardstock, das Band, das quer über seinen Körper läuft, aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Das Band musste ich dabei auf den Kopf drehen, damit es von oben links nach unten rechts läuft. 

 

Main element on my card is this cute bear by HoneyBeeStamps. He's from Heart Hugs and I made him a bit taller by doing some partial die cutting.

I originally had colored the bear with watercolors. But when applying the eyes with a black Glaze Pen I managed to smear one of the eyes all across the face, there was no way to fix that. So I had to start all over and because I am way faster with Copics I used these for the bear. 

Again I did the eyes with a black Glaze Pen, the nose is covered with a layer of Glossy Accents.

Instead of a heart from the set the bear comes in mine is holding the heartshaped O from the word Love.

I dressed up the bear with some elements from  Build-a-Critter Valentine's Accessoires by LawnnFawn. The wings I cut from white glitter cardstock, the "belt" across his body I cut from white cardstock. I had to turn it face down to make it go from top left to bottom right. 

 

 Der Text besteht, wie schon erwähnt, aus dem gestanzten Wort love. Ich habe es mit einer Stanze von MFT aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und das Herz mit rotem Glitter-Cardstock hinterlegt. Durch das Herz habe ich dann noch einen Pfeil aus dem Valentine's Accessoires Set von LawnFawn geschoben. Der ist aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock, rotem Glitter-Cardstock und normalem helllauem Cardstock gemacht. Dann habe ich den Pfeil halbiert und ein Teil auf, eines unter das Herz gesetzt. 

Der Rest des Textes ist mit dem Label Maker Love Set von MFT und schwarzer Tinte gemacht. Ich habe die Worte einzeln ausgeschnitten und über und unter dem Wort Love angebracht.

 

The text is made from the already mentioned word love. I used a die by MFT to cut it from black cardstock and backed the heart with red glitter cardstock. Then I put an arrow from the Valentine's Accessoires set by LawnFawn through it. I made that from matte silver metallic cardstock, red glitter cardstock and regular light blue cardstock. Then I cut it apart and glued one half on top, one under the heart.

The rest of the text is made with the Label Maker Love set by MFT and black ink. I cut the words out individually and arranged it above and under the word love.

 

 Den verunglückten ersten Bären habe ich dann als Verstärkung hinter den zweiten geklebt - so wird nichts verschendet - und ihn dann mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Auch hinter den unteren kleine Worten befindet sich 3D Tape.

Als Deko habe ich ein paar schwarze Perlen auf der Karte verteilt, das Card Panel schwarz gemattet und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I glued the ruined first bear behind the second one to make him a bit sturdier - and to not waste anything. Then I glued him onto the background with foam tape. Theres also some foam tape behind the small words at the bottom.

I added some black pearls as decoration, matted the card panel black and adhered it to a white note card.

 

Kleine Valentins-Geschenke

Vor zwei Tagen war Valentinstag - und somit kann ich Euch die Kleinigkeiten zeigen, die ich für unsere Mädels gemacht habe.

Valentine's was two days ago and so I can share with you now what I made as a little gift for our girls.

 

Ich mag Valentinstag - nicht als der kommerzielle Tag, zu den ihn der Handel macht, oder nur als Tag für Paare. Er erinnert mich vielmehr daran, dass es mal wieder an der Zeit wäre, dem ein oder anderen Menschen in meinem Leben zu sagen, wie wichtig er mir ist.  

Wir haben unseren Kindern schon immer Kleinigkeiten zum Valentinstag gegeben. Und diese Tradition habe ich fortgeführt, auch wenn alle nun ausgezogen sind. Dieses Jahr habe ich ihn diese kleinen Boxen geschickt.

I like Valentine's - not everyone here in Germany does. I don't like it as the kind of second christmas, that businesses do to turn it into, or as a day just for couples. It just reminds me that it's about time to let some people in my life know, how important they are to me.

We have always given our girls a little something for Valentine's. And I keep on with this tradition, even now that they have all moved out. This time I sent them these little boxes.

Schon vor Weihnachten hatte ich diese kleinen Pocket Hugs mit Pinguin gekauft und wollte sie eigentlich in ein Weihnachtsgeschenk integrieren. Aber dann ist mir einfach die Zeit davongerannt und so gibt es sie eben jetzt im Februar.

Already before christmas I bought those little pocket hugs with penguins and had planned to include them in a christmas gift. But then I just ran out of time and that's why they are getting them now in february.

Die Boxen habe ich mit Cutter und Scoring Board aus weißem Cardstock gemacht, um genau die Größe zu erhalten, die ich braucht. In die Front ein rundes Fenster eingestanzt und zwar so, dass der kleine Pinguin daraus herausschaut.

Die Boxen habe ich dann mit hellrosa Tinte und dem Neverending Love Background von MFT bestempelt.

 

I made the boxes from white cardstock with my paper cutter and scoring board to get the measurements I needed. I cut a round window into the front of the box, making sure the little penguin can peek out through it.

I then stamped the Neverending Love Background by MFT with light pink ink onto the boxes.

Oben rechts habe ich ein XOXO-Tag samt Schleife aufgeklebt.

Schleife und Tag sind aus dem Heart Pouch Set von LawnFawn. Der Tag ist aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt, die Buchstaben darauf aus rotem und hellrosa farbenem Cardstsock. In eines der Os habe ich ein kleines weißes Herz geklebt.

Die Schleife habe ich dann aus rotem Cardstock gemacht, über einen Bonefolder rund gebogen und auf den Tag geklebt.

Um das Fenster, das ich in die Boxenfront gestanzt habe, habe ich einen Ring aus rotem Cardstock geklebt. Der ist mit einer der Stitched Circle Frames von Create a Smile gemacht.

To the top right I adhered a XOXO tag and a bow.

Bow and tag are from the Heart Pouch die set by LawnFawn. I cut the tag from black cardstock, the letters from red and light pink cardstock. I decorated one of the Os with a white clay heart.

The bow I cut from red cardstock, rounded it with my bonefolder and  glued it on top of the tag.

Around the window, that I had cut into the box front, I put a ring, cut from red cardstock with one of the Stitched Circle Frames by Create a Smile.

Unten auf der Box wurde es dann valentin-ig. Ich habe die Zahl 14 aus schwarzem und rotem Cardstock gestanzt und beides leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt.

Das Happy Valentine's ist aus dem Set Itty Bitty Love von MFT und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

Drumherum habe ich noch einige rote Herzen gesetzt und außerdem mit einem schwarzen Fineliner einen Rahmen auf die Boxenfront gemalt.

At the bottom of the box the decorations got valentine-y. I die cut the number 14 from black and red cardstock and stacked the numbers a bit offest.

The happy valentine's is from Itty Bitty Love by MFT and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

I added a few red hearts and also used a black fineliner to draw a frame onto the box front.

Und so sah der "Pocket Hug", der sich in der Box befand, dann aus. Ich liebe solche Kleinigkeiten und ich weiß genau, egal wie alt man ist, manchmal braucht man einfach eine Umarmung von Mama oder Papa... Auf die Rückeseite habe ich noch einen persönlichen Text geschrieben.

Der Tag, die 1 und der embosste Text sind mit dünnem, die 4 und die Schleife mit dickem 3D Tape auf die Box geklebt.

And this is what the "pocket hug", that I put inside the boxes, looks like. I love little things like that and I also know, no matter how old you are, there are days when you just need a hug from mom or dad... I wrote a personal note onto the back.

I used thin foam tape to adhere the tag, the number 1 and the embossed text, the bow and number 4 are backed with thick foam tape.

Mein heutiges DT-Werk für Stampcorner ist nochmal eine Karte, die perfekt für den Valentinstag ist. Auf der anderen Seite - das Kompliment "du bist soooo süß" kann man auch das ganze Jahr über machen, oder?

My DT card for Stampcorner today is once again a card that could be perfect for valentine's. On the other side - you can tell someone "you're soooo sweet" any time of year, right?

Der Hintergrund ist das Überbleibsel - bzw. Negativ - eines Hintergrunds, den ich vor einiger Zeit gemacht hatte. Und da die Reste einen kompletten Hintergrund ergeben, habe ich sie nicht weggeworfen. Hier kamen sie nun zum Einsatz. Gemacht ist er aus cremefarbenem und craft farbenem Cardstock und der Peppermint Stripes Backdrop Stanze von LawnFawn. 

Und weil er doch etwas sehr intensiv war, habe ich mittig ein Stück Vellum aufgelegt. Das habe ich mit der A6 ZickZack Stitch Stanze gemacht. Der Hintergrund ist ja auf das amerikanische A2 Format ausgelegt. Deswegen habe ich den ZickZack-Hintergrund per Partial Diecutting etwas verbreitert.

The background is a leftover - or negative - of a background I made some time ago. And since those leftovers make their own whole background I decided to keep them. Now I used them. It's made from cream and kraft colored cardstock and the Peppermint Stripes Backdrop die by LawnFawn.

And since the background was a bit intense for my idea I put a piece of vellum on top. I cut that with one of the A6 ZickZack Stitch dies. Since the striped background is in the american A6 size I did some partial diecutting to make the ric rac background a bit wider.

Auf das Vellum und als Hintergrund für meine Motive und den Text habe ich dann aus hellbraunem Designpapier mit weißen, sternförmigen Linien eines der Fishtail Banner Stitch ausgestanzt. Da die Banner recht lang sind, habe ich auch hier Partial Diecutting angewandt, diesmal, um das Banner in der Länge zu kürzen. 

Oben habe ich zwei kleine Löcher in das Banner gestanzt und etwas cremefarbenes Band hindurchgezogen. Das habe ich oben dann zur Schleife gebunden.

Die Motive auf der Karte sind alle aus dem Stempelset Schleckermäulchen. Ich habe die Motive mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Die Verpackung der Schokolade habe ich auf Designpapier gestempelt, das ein wenig schattiert und den oberen Teil der Schokotafel darauf geklebt. Die Deko auf den Bonbon-Papieren und die "Folie" der Schokoladentafel habe ich mit einem goldenen Metallic-Gelstift nachgemalt. Der Lutscher ist mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht.

Onto the vellum and as a backdrop for my images and text I die cut one of the Fishtail Banner Stitch from light brown cardstock with white, star-shaped lines. Since those banners are pretty long I did some partial diecutting again, this time to shorten the banner.

I cut two small holes into the top of the banner and put some cream ribbon through them. On top of the banner I tied the ribbon to a bow.

The images on my card are all from Schleckermäulchen. I colored the images with Copics and cut them out with my scissors. The paper of the chocolat bar I stamped onto a piece of patterned paper, shaded it a bit and glued the top half of the chocolate bar onto it. 

The decorations on the hard candies, and the "foil" of the chocolate bar I covered with a gold metallic gel pen. The sucker I covered with Glossy Accents. 

For the highlights I used a white gel pen.

Der Text auf der Karte ist aus dem Set Hasengrüße. Ich habe ihn mit Memento Toffee Crunch auf einen Kreis aus cremefarbenem Cardstock gestempelt und mit dem goldenen Gelstift einen Rahmen aufgemalt. 

Die Tinte des gestempelten Textes ist nach dem Trocknen für meinen Geschmack etwas zu hell geworden. Also habe ich einen braunen Fineliner benutzt und Schatten an die Buchstaben gemalt, so ist er besser lesbar.

I stamped the text on the card with Memento Toffee Crunch onto a circle cut from cream colored cardstock and drew a frame with the gold gel pen.

After the ink of the text had dried it was a bit lighter than I had thought. So I used a brown fineliner to draw a shadow next to the letters, this way the text is better legible.

Zum Zusammenkleben kam hinter dem Banner, hinter dem Vellum sowie dem Textkreis und den Bonbons wieder 3D Tape zum Einsatz.

Als Deko habe ich noch ein paar kleine rote Herzen auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

To put the card together I used foam tape behind the banner, the vellum, the text circle and the hard candies. 

I added a few red hearts as decoration and then adhered the card panel to a white note card.

Für mein heutiges DT-Projekt für Stampcorner ist mal eine Karte entstanden, die so ganz anders ist als das, was ich sonst so mache. Irgendwie hat es sich so ergeben, und ich bin mir immer noch nicht sicher, was ich vom Ergebnis halte....

Hello everyone!

For my DT project for Stampcorner today I made a card that's completly different from what I usually make. It just happened, and I still am not sure what I think about the result....

Auf dieser Karte sind so viele Dinge zum Einsatz gekommen, die ich seit wirklich Jahrzehnten habe, teilweise sogar noch unbenutzt, und von denen ich fast schon nicht mehr wusste, dass sie noch da sind. Sie haben wirklich sehr geduldig darauf gewartet, zum Einsatz zu kommen.

Ich habe hier ein Clipboard mit angeheftetem Blockblatt gemacht. Das Clipboard besteht einfach aus einem Stück schwarzen Cardstocks, an den ich oben einen Clip angebracht habe. Der ist von Sizzix/Tim Holtz - und noch eine dieser dicken Stanzen, die man mit einem Magneten erstmal ein eine Art Metall-Tablett kleben musste. Ja, der ein oder andere mag die noch kennen... Ich habe den Clip zweimal aus silberfarbenem Hologramm-Cardstock gestanzt, auf einen quer zwei Falzlinien gezogen und die Clips zwischen diesen beiden Falzlinien aufeinander geklebt. 

Zwischen die Clips habe ich ein Blockblatt gesetzt. Darauf habe ich zuerst die Linien mit grauer Tinte gestempelt und seitlich mit einer Randstanze die Loch-Abreißkante eingestanzt. Einige der Löcher habe ich dann per Hand ausgerissen. Hinter das Blockblatt habe ich etwas schräg noch ein Stück roten Cardstocks gesetzt.

Zwischen die Linien habe ich dann mit hellblauer Tinte verschiedene kleine Texte wie "XOXO", "hugs and kisses" und "you're sweet" sowie einige kleine Herzen aufgestempelt. Außerdem habe ich den Cardstock mit Distress Ink Pumice Stone gewischt. 

Irgendwie war das immer noch fad. Also habe ich erst ein paar rote, kreisförmige Ränder aufgestempelt und bin dann über den Romantic Script Hintergrund von MFT gestolpert. Der passte fast perfekt auf die Linien des Blockblatts. Damit der Text nicht zu sehr heraussticht, habe ich ihn per Second Generation Stamping mit schwarzer Tinte aufgestempelt. 

Ganz oben auf die oberste Linie habe ich mit roter Tinte noch ein "Notes" aufgestempelt.

On this card I used a lot of things that I have had for decades, some of them even unused, and most of them I didn't even remember that I still had them. They have been waiting veeeery patiently to finally be used.

I created a clipboard with a notebook page on it. The clipboard I simply made from a piece of black cardstock, that I added a clip to the top. This clip die is by Sizzix/Tim Holtz - and it's one of those really old, thick dies, that you had to stick to some kind of magnetic tray first. Yes, some of you might remember those dies.... I die cut the clip twice from silver holographic cardstock, added two score lines across one of them and glued both together, putting the glue just between those two score lines.

Between the clips I put a notebook page. I first stamped the lines onto it using grey ink and added the notebook edge to it using an old die by MFT. I ripped out some of the paper between the holes. Behind the notebook paper I put a piece of red cardstock, putting it on a bit slanted.

Between the lines I stamped small texts like "XOXO", "hugs and kisses" and "you're sweet" and some small hearts using light blue ink. I also inked the paper partly with Distress Ink Pumice Stone.

That still looked plain. So I first added  some ink circles with red ink and then came across the Romantic Script Background by MFT. The text fits nearly perfectly onto those lines. To not make the text to prominent I used black ink and did some second generation stamping.

Onto the very first line I stamped "notes" with red ink.

Und das war ich endlich soweit zufrieden, dass das Häschen Vallin zum Einsatz kommen konnte. Das hatte ich übrigens als aller erstes Element der Karte hervorgeholt und dann kam mir die Idee mit dem Clipboard....

Vallin ist mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Als Hintergrund habe ich zwei der Postage Stitch Briefmarken gesetzt - einmal aus weißem und einmal aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt. Auf die obere weiße Briefmarke habe ich dann noch ein hellgraues Stück Designpapier mit einer Art Zeitungsprint aufgeklebt und darauf dann das Motiv gesetzt.

Die Texte sind von MFT und mit schwarzer und roter Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt.

And then I was finally happy enough to bring out this little bunny. It was actually the very first element I picked for my card, then I had the clipboard idea...

I colored the bunny with Copics and cut it out by hand. As a backdrop I cut one of the Postage Stitch dies from both light blue and white cardstock. Onto the white postage stamp I glued a rectangle that I cut from light grey patterned paper with some kind of newpaper print. Then I put the image on top.

The texts are by MFT and stamped with black and red ink onto white cardstock.

Mir fehlte definitiv noch etwas auf der Karte. Und hier kam dann der nächste "Dino" zum Einsatz: der Stift. Das ist ein Gummistempel von Whiff of Joy - die gibt es doch bestimmt schon fast 10 Jahre nicht mehr, oder? Und die Gummistempel waren ja mit deren erste.... 

Ich habe den Stift dreimal abgestempelt und so coloriert, dass sie wie ein schwarzer, ein roter und ein blauer Stift aussehen. Die habe ich dann zusammen mit einigen kleinen roten Herzen auf der Karte verteilt.

Das Häschen, die Texte und die Stifte sind mit 3D Tape hinterlegt.

There was definately something missing on this card. And that's where the next "dinosaur" - a very old item - came into play: the pen. It's a rubber stamp by Whiff of Joy - and I think, those went out of business about 10 years ago. And their rubber stamps where one of the first ones they sold...

I  stamped  the pen three times and colored them, making them look like a black, a red and a blue one. Then I added those and a few red hearts to the card.

The bunny, the texts and the pens I backed with foam tape.

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Karte, die sehr wohl als Valentinstagskarte aber auch als Karte zu allen möglichen anderen Anlässen passt.

Today I am sharing with you a card, that could be a valentine's card but also works for all kind of occasions.

Mit dem Januar-Release hat WaffleFlower die Open Book Stanze herausgebracht - und für Bücher bin ich immer zu haben! Und da die Schrift, die hier in die Seiten eingestanzt ist, eine extra Stanze im Set ist, kann man das Buch auch noch wunderbar vielseitig einsetzen. Auf jeden Fall war dieses Buch der Ideengeber für meine Karte.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück dunkelgrünen Cardstocks, auf den ich mit weißer Tinte den Romantic Script Background von MFT aufgestempelt habe. Eigentlich wollte ich auch noch etwas Farbe aufspritzen, aber das habe ich dann während des Bastelns irgendwie wieder vergessen.

Da später, als ich das Buch auf den Hintergrund gelegt habe, irgendwie etwas Kontrast fehlte, habe ich auf den Hinterrund ein Stück Vellum gelegt, um ihn hinter dem Buch etwas abzuschwächen.

With the january release WaffleFlower released the Open Book die - and you can always count me in if books are involved. Since the font, that's cut into the pages here, is an extra die in the set you can use this book die very versatile. Well, this book was the inspiration for my card.

The background is made from a piece of dark green cardstock, onto which I've stamped the Romantic Script Background by MFT with white ink. I also had planned to add some paint splatters, but while making the card I somehow forgot about it.

Later, when I put the book onto the background, the card was missing some contrast so I cut a piece of vellum a bit smaller than the background and put that onto the background to soften it a bit.

Das Buch besteht aus mehreren Lagen - das Cover habe ich aus taupe-farbenem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Scorched Timber schattiert. Darauf befinden sich drei Lagen Buchseiten - alle aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Lost Shadow schattiert. In die oberste Lage habe ich die Texte eingeprägt. Außerdem habe ich die Buchseiten ein wenig gebogen, sie dann an der Mittellinie jeweils direkt aufeinander geklebt und am Rand zwischen den Seiten einen Streifen dünnen 3D Tapes eingefügt. So bekommt das Buch eine tolle Tiefe. 

Vor dem Aufkleben der Seiten habe ich noch ein Stück grünes Band an die Rückseite der hintersten Lage geklebt und später als Lesezeichen über die oberste Buchseite nach unten gezogen.

 

The book is made from several layers - the cover I die cut from taupe colored cardstock and shaded it with Distress Ink Scorched Timber. On top I put three layers of pages - all cut from white cardstock and shaded with Lost Shadow. Into the top layer I cut the text/script. I also rounded the pages a bit, then adhered them directly onto each other along the middle line, along the side edges I put pieces of thin foam tape. This way it gets a nice and realistic shape.

Before glueing the pages to the cover I taped a piece of green ribbon to the back of the bottom pages and later glued it down the top layer as a bookmark.

 

Ganz von Anfang an als ich die Stanze sah, hatte ich eine auf dem Buch liegende Rose vor Augen. Ich habe hier die Lovely Layers Rose von HoneyBeeStamps benutzt. Nun ist die Rose, verglichen zum Buch, recht groß, und so ist das Buch wohl eher ein Notizbuch. Aber ich finde die Karte trotzdem stimmig.

Da ich ja die Farbkombi rot-grün nicht wirklich mag, wollte ich auch keine rote Rose aufkleben. Außerdem ist die Karte mit weißer/cremefarbener Rose viel vielseitiger einsetzbar. Ich habe die Blütenblätter - zwei der Lagen der Blüte habe ich einfach weggelassen - aus immer dunkler werdenden Cardstock von weiß zu hellgelb gestanzt und mit Antique Linen schattiert. Stiel und Blätter sind aus drei verschiedenen Grüntönen gestanzt und mit grünen Tinten - Rustic Wilderness sowie zwei weitere Grüntöne verschiedener Hersteller - schattiert. Dann habe ich Polychromos genommen und einige Details auf die Blume aufgemalt und sie dann zusammengeklebt. Dabei habe ich die Teile jeweils nur punktuell zusammengeklebt und konnte so die Blätter und Blütenteile ebenfalls ein wenig biegen damit die Rose nicht so flach wirkt.

Right when I saw the die I had a rose laying on top of it in mind. I used the Lovely Layers Rose by HoneyBeeStamps here. Compared to the book the rose is pretty large and so the book seems more like a little note book. But I still think, the design works.

Since I don't really like the color combo of red and green I didn't want to make a red rose. And with the white/cream rose the card can be used for several occasions. I cut the petals - I left out two of the layers here - from cardstock ranging from white to light yellow and shaded them with Antique Linen. Stem and leaves are cut from three different shades of green cardstock and inked with green inks - Rustic Wilderness and two other colors from different brands. Then I used Polychromos to add some details to the flower parts, then put the rose together. I only glued the pieces together in a few small spots and then was able to bend the petals and leaves up at their top edges to give the flower some dimension.

Für den Text habe ich die Love Ornament Stanze von HeroArts benutzt und den Kreis rund um den Text herum weggeschnitten. Auch den Text habe ich aus taupefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und wieder vier Lagen aufeinander geklebt, damit das Wort schön stabil ist. Es liegt ja nur unter dem O sowie teilweise dem L und V auf dem Buch auf, da die Seiten ja gebogen sind.

Ebenso habe ich die Feder aus dem Open Book Set gestaltet. Sie besteht aus vier Lagen hellgrauen Cardstocks, die Details sind mit Polychromos aufgemalt.

Das Wort Sending ist mit weißer Tinte auf dunkelgrünen Cardstock gestanzt. Ich wollte unbedingt ein "sending" in Schreibschrift. Diese hier aus dem Set Hedgehugs von LawnFawn war das erste, das mir in die Hände fiel. 

For the text I used the Love Ornament die by HeroArts and cut off the circle around the word. Again I cut the word from taupe colored cardstock and again I stacked four layers to make the word pretty stable. It's only laying on the book pages with the O and partly the L and V, because the pages are rounded.

The feather from Open Book I created the same way. It's made from four layers of light grey cardstock, the details I drew on with Polychromos.

The word sending is stamped with white ink onto dark green cardstock. I really wanted one in a scripty font here, the one from Hedgehugs by LawnFawn was the first one in my stash I came across.

Durch die vielen Lagen hat die Karte an sich ja schon jede Menge Dimension, deswegen habe ich auf Foam Tape - außer dem zwischen den Buchseiten - verzichtet. 

Als Deko habe ich noch ein paar kleine champagner-farbene Herz-Konfetti auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

With all those layers the card is already pretty thick, so I didn't add any foam tape - except the one between the book pages.

I added a few champagne colored heart confetti to the card and then adhered the card panel to a white note card.

Heute habe ich eine Valentinstagskarte in rot und rosa für Euch.

Today I have a red an pink valentine's card to share with you.

Die Karte besteht aus zwei Teilen: einem Rahmen mit Folie oben und darunter ein weiterer Rahmen mit dem Motiv.

Der Rahmen ist mit zwei der Rectangle Stitch Stanzen von Stampcorner aus rotem Cardstock gemacht. Ich habe ihn insgesamt drei mal ausgestanzt, zwei davon für die obere Lage aufeinander geklebt und dabei Folie zwischengelegt. 

Den dritten Rahmen habe ich mit einem gefalteten Cardstockstreifen oben an die beiden anderen Rahmen geklebt.

The card is made from two parts: a frame with acetate as the top layer and under it another frame with the image.

I die cut the frames with two of the Rectangle Stitch dies by Stampcorner. I cut three of it from red cardstock and glued two of them together, putting a piece of acetate in between. 

I created a hinge from a piece of red cardstock and used it to connect the two top frames with the single one.

 

Auf die Folie habe ich dann einige Texte geklebt, so dass man das Motiv dahinter nicht komplett sehen kann, wenn die Karte geschlossen ist. Und der Text ist so eindeutig, diese Karte geht wirklich nur für Valentinstag.

Aus rotem und schwarzem Cardstock habe ich jeweils die Zahlen 1 und 4 mit dem Zahlen-Stanzenset ausgestanzt und leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt. 

Die Texte sind jeweils schwarz auf weißen Cardstock geklebt. Ich habe einmal das Wort February gestempelt, der Text "I Hope You're Showered with Love" ist aus dem Stempelset Sprinkling You With Love von MFT. Dabei habe ich zwei Texte kombiniert, um diesen zu erhalten. Von dem with habe ich noch das th abgestempelt, um es hinter das 14 zu setzen.

I adhered some texts to the acetate so you can't see the image on the inside fully when the card is closed. And this text is so special, this card will really only word for valentine's.

From red and black cardstock I but the numbers 1 and 4 and stacked them a bit offset.

The texts are stamped black onto white cardstock. I stamped the word februrary, the text "I hope you're showered with love" is from Sprinkling you with Love by MFT. I combined two texts to get the one I wanted. And from the word with I also stamped just the th and put it behind the numbers.

Die Zahlen sind direkt auf die Folie geklebt, hinter die Texte habe ich 3D Tape gesetzt.

Als Deko habe ich dann noch einige Perlen auf die Folie geklebt.

The numbers are glued directly onto the acetate, the texts I backed with foam tape.

As decoration I added a few light pink pearls.

Öffnet man die Karte, sieht man die komplette Szene: Hier steht Mia aus dem gleichnamigen Stempelset im dicken Herzenregen.

Hinter den roten Rahmen habe ich hier ein Stück weißen Cardstocks gesetzt, den ich mit Distress Ink Spun Sugar eingefärbt habe. Dann habe ich mit roter Tinte den Hearts Hintergrund aufgestempelt. Außerdem habe ich etwas weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

When you open the card you can see the whole scene: there's Mia from the Mia stamp set, standing in a shower of hearts.

Behind the red frame I put a piece of white cardstock, that I had inked with Distress Ink Spun Sugar. Then I stamped the Hearts background onto it using red ink. I also added splatters of white acrylic paint.

Mia habe ich mit Copics coloriert und dann per Hand ausgeschnitten. Als Boden habe ich einen der Oval Shadows von MFT aus pinkfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt.

Unter das Motiv habe ich dann noch ein "happy valentine's day" aus dem Itty Bitty Love Stempelset von MFT gesetzt und es so aufgeklebt, dass es bei geschlossener Karte von einem der Texte auf der Kartenvorderseite verdeckt ist. 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I colored Mia with Copics and cut her out by hand. As a ground I die cut one of the Oval Shadows by MFT from pink cardstock.

Under the image I adhered a "happy valentine's day" from Itty Bitty Love by MFT, making sure it is covered by one of the texts on the card front when the card is closed.

Then I adhered my card panel to a white note card.
