so happy for ewe!

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
I am still not ready to let summer go. And so this fall card, that I'm sharing with you today, still has some summer vibes. But I think you can tell that fall is repesented, too.

I again used the Countryside series by Concord and 9th here - stencils, dies and stamps.
I did the background with Distress Inks: Old Paper and a bit of grey - simply what was left of a mix of Hickory Smoke and  Pumice Stone on my brush - for the path, Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint for the hill in the foreground, Crushed Olive and Forest Moss for the one farther away. I added some stripes to those hills, making them look like fields, using the Rolling Hills stencil set by TheGreetery and making it fit as good as possible. It didn't turn our perfect, but nature isn't, too. I wanted  the barn to be a grey-ish blue and so I used Speckled Egg and Iced Spruce for it and Scorched Timber for the roof. The sky I did with Salvaged Patina and  Peacock Feathers.
I then splattered some grey-ish brown metallic watercolor onto the path.

I have been eyeing with the Happy Herd Bundle by Concord and 9th for quite some time - when I ordered the Countryside bundle those little sheep jumped  into the shopping cart. I mean, these two sets are the perfect pair and the sheep will be so happy on those grassy fields. A few of them are showing up on today's card.
As mentioned did I ink the background with Distress Inks - and that will be re-activated with water again and again. I first stamped the sheep's heads and legs using black ink so I knew where I had to place the stencil, that creates the bodies. I first inked them with white pigment ink - and ended up with green sheep. Even several layers of the white ink didn't change that. I wasn't able to white heat emboss them because then I wouldn't have been able to add the heads again - at least not if using the Puff embossing powder as planned. Then I had the idea of simply using white acrylic paint. I simply dabbed that on using  a Q-Tip. After the paint had dried I stamped the heads back on using black ink again.

The pattern on the barn is made using a stamp from the matching Countryside stamp set. Luckily there is a larger, rectangle wood pattern included in the set, too. I had turned the stencils face down since the sheep fit the landscape better this way. But I didn't think of the fact, that the stamps won't work anymore this way. But I was able to stamp the larger image through the stencil and the barn got its pattern. I also stamped the fence from the set onto the hills using Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves.
The windows and door are made using  dies from the matching die set. From this set are also those little pumpkins, that I put around the barn.
Above the heads of those two sheep, that are standing next to each other in front of the barn, I glued two small gold heart confetti. They are so shiny that you can't really see them on this card.

Onto the top left corner of my card I glued  the large branch/tree from the Countryside stamp set. It  adds some great depth to the scene. I die cut the leaves from light and dark olive cardstock, the branch from brown cardstock. After shading the pieces  with some Distress Ink I glued them onto the corner of the card. And to make the scene a bit more fall-ish I brought out the smallest leaf dies  I was able to find in my stash  and die cut them from different shades of yellow cardstock. I lightly shaded them with Gathered Twigs and Ground  Espresso and  then scattered them over the card.
Now my card only needed a text. It's from Happy Herd and white heat embossed onto dark rown cardstock. I cut it out with my scissors, following the shape of the letters so the dark strip isn't too large up there on top of the sky.

To add some fall vibes to the bottom of the card as well I added some sheaves from the Countryside die set. I cut them a bit shorter so they work better with the sheep.
All the elements on this card are glued directly onto the background, as decoration I added a few gold pearls around the text. Then I glued the card panel onto a white note card.
