Craft Roulette Episode #341

Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Project: Card with 2 Folds
Colors: Planets
Element: Beautiful
Random: Wonky.

Hello everyone!
There was a new episode of Craft Roulette aired this week and again I have made a card using these new parameters. They are:
project: card with 2 fold
colors: planets
element: beautiful
random: wonky.

As a few times before the color parameter also gave me an idea for the theme of my card. And so I made this card with planets and a space theme.
I created the card base from black cardstock. Onto the top layer I glued some black glitter cardstock and then die cut the second largest shape from Ocean Windows  by Altenew from both layers. That created this wonky window that makes it seem as if we're looking into space from out of a black hole.
To make  this layer just a tad bit more interesting I scattered some silver star confetti onto it.

This layer with the "black hole" can be folded up - that's fold #1. And behind the black hole there is the endless space.
In the foreground you can see part of the moon and on it there's a rocket ship all ready for take off. There's a little alien sitting in it.

For the moon I used the Moon Background by  WhimsyStamps and stamped it with light blue ink. Then I used blue alcohol markers to color it in.
The moon is glued onto another piece of cardstock, that lays on top of the background.

You might have already guessed it - the moon can be folded down - fold #2. And then the view into space is free and that little rocket ship is flying around in it.
The background is made from white cardstock, that I glued inside the card. Before I did that I inked that Milky Way onto it using Distress Inks Salvaged Patina, Salty Ocean, Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I splattered on white acrylic paint for the stars and also added some droplets of water.
The planets are all from Out of this World by LawnFawn  and again colored with alcohol markers. The colors - and planets - represented are Uranus, Mars, Jupiter, Merkur and the moon and those colors are also what I used for the rest of my card.

The rocket ship is from Little Agenda Spaceship by  MamaElephant, the alien - and his party hat - in it are from Monster Mash by LawnFawn. I colored the rocket ship, traced the outlines of the fire with a gold gel pen an then cut out the round window. Behind the hole I created this way I put some half-see-through and mirror covered foil and then glued the window I cut out before and the alien behind it.
At the very bottom of the card, and covered by the moon when the card is closed, I added my text. It's again from Out of this World by LawnFawn and silver heat embossed onto the background.

Here you can see the mirrored window better.
I added some tiny silver star confetti between the planets.

And here's the parameter check:
2 folds: the top layer folds up, the moon down.
planet colors: I picked the colors from mars, mercury, jupiter, uranus, saturn and the moon
beautiful: the look of the milky way and all the stars around it is beautiful
wonky: the "black hole" on the top layer has a wonky shape.
