LawnFawnatics Challenge #231

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello  everyone!
There is a Bingo chart created for LawnFawnatics challenge #231 from which you pick a row to make your card after. It looks like this:

I think those rows are not really easy to combine and  at first  I thought I'd go with the center row vertically. But then I changed my mind and picked the first row horizontally to make this winter card.

The background is made from a piece of white cardstock. I first stamped the snowy hills with trees from Over the Mountain Border onto the cardstock, using light blue ink. I moved the bottom row a bit left and right so I have half trees at the edges of the cardstock. Then I created a mask for the hills and inked the sky with Distress Oxide Scattered  Straw, Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean.
I colored the trees and the snow around them with alcohol markers.

The ice bears are over the moon that winter is finally here and are building an igloo. You can tell that they are professionals. And so you can be sure, that their igloo will last all  winter.

Main element of my card is the igloo. I die cut it  two times from LawnFawn's iridescent vellum using the Build-an-Igloo set and cut the arch out, too. Vom one of the igloos  I cut off  the top row of ice blocks, the other igloo I backed with light aqua cardstock so this layer looks a bit darker. I also used alcohol markers to shade the ice blocks a bit. It worked quite well on the iridescent vellum without leaving visible every marker stroke like regular vellum does. I used foam tape to put the igloo together.
Inside the igloo one of the  bears is standing on a ladder, measuring the size for the next block needed to finish the roof. He's telling the bear  at the bottom left those measurements and he's then cutting them the right size. And on the right side there's another bear busy with putting the blocks in place using ice mortar...

I combined quite a few sets for this card and for some parts I had to think outside the box. The tool belt, the bear on the right is wearing, is part of the reindeer reigns from Ho-Ho-Holidays.  The helmets are from Scootin' By and, for the bear in the center, I used one of the gondolas from the ferris wheel from Wheely Great Day. The buckets are from Beachy Christmas, the shovels from Veggie Happy. The ladder is from Apple-Solutely Awesome. To make it tall enough for the bear inside the igloo I put two of them on top of each other. You don't see that they  don't really fit together because I've hidden the ugly side behind the arch. Since there are two layers of the iridescent vellum layered onto each other here you don't really see through them anymore. So I simply made the right side fit.
Behind the igloo there's a north pole sign from Penguin Party, hammer, saw and measuring tape are from Mice Tools. And for the ice mortar in the buckets and on the shovel I used the pile of sugar from Baked with Love.  Then I added some ice blocks, that I cut out of the wall, and some snow piles from Snowball Fight to the scene.
The bears are from Den Sweet Den, Treat Cart and Snow Much Fun, the bear on the left side is wearing a scarf from Frosty Friends.
I covered the top edges of all  the snow and ice elements on my card with Clear Rock Candy glitter  by Ranger.

Since clouds are listed in the bingo chart row  I have picked I die cut some small clouds from Platform PopUp Clouds Wrap Around from white cardstock and glued them onto the sky.
And that's also where I placed my text. It's again from Snowball Fight and white heat embossed onto the sky.

Here you can see the different foam tape layers that I used to put the igloo and the bears together.
To make the bingo row complete my card needed something shiny. I wasn't sure if the shine of the iridescent vellum, that really has a great shine, would count. So I used a die from Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag and die cut three hearts  from gold  mirror  cardstock. I glued one above the head of each bear.
Then I glued the card panel onto a white note card.
