Es ist Halloween! Und zur Feier des Tages habe ich noch einen speziellen Trank angesetzt - oder ansetzen lassen. Der ist gut durchgezogen. In diesem Sinne - Prost!

It's Halloween! And for the Halloween party I have made a special drink - or have had someone made it for me. It has been sitting for a few days - so cheers, everyone!
Dies ist auch mein letztes Projekt für das WhimsyStamps Halloweeners Team dieses Jahr.
Ich habe hier mit dem Broken Web Embossingfolder, einem Folder im Slimline Format, ein Stück weißen Cardstock embosst und dann die debosste - also "eingedrückte" Seite - verwendet. Die habe ich direkt mit den Stempelkissen Versafine Clair Blue Belle und Nocturne eingefärbt, das Spinnennetzmuster bleibt dabei weiß. Auf den Cardstock habe ich dann silberne Metallic Watercolor gespritzt.
Dann habe ich ein schwarzes Stück Cardstock mit dem selben Embossingfolder embosst und diesmal die "richtige" Seite nach oben gelegt. Aus diesem Teil habe ich den inneren Bereich herausgeschnitten, so dass nur der Rahmen übrig geblieben ist.
This is also my last project for the WhimsyStamps Halloweeners team of this year.
I used the Broken Web embossing folder, a slimline sized one, to dry emboss a piece of white cardstock, then used the debossed side. I inked that directly with the Versafine Clair ink pads Blue Belle and Nocturne, the spider web pattern stays white. Onto the cardstock I then splattered some silver metallic watercolor.
Then I used the same folder to emboss a piece of black cardstock and this time used the "right" side up. From this black cardstock piece I cut out the inner area so I ended up with a embossed black frame.
Der schon erwähnte Trank befindet sich gut verschlossen in einer braunen Flasche. Die ist mit dem Potion Bottle Stanzenset gemacht. Ich habe die Flaschenteile aus braunem Cardstock gestanzt und mit dem Distress Oxide Kissen Pumice Stone ein wenig altern lassen. Und weil ich hier einen Shaker gemacht habe, habe ich zwischen die beiden braunen Lagen noch vier Lagen aus dickem Cardstock gesetzt.
Das Fenster im oberen Teil der Flasche ist mit Acetate hinterlegt. Auf das habe ich mit weißem StazOn eines der Potion Labels gestempelt. Das selbe Label habe ich auch noch einmal schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und die Totenköpfe sowie die Flüssigkeit drumherum mit Alkoholmarkern coloriert. Die habe ich ausgeschnitten und auf das Label auf dem Acetate geklebt.
Die Flasche ist mit herabtropfendem Schleim, einer Schleife, Knochen und einem Totenkopf dekoriert - alle Teile sind ebenfalls mit Stanzen aus dem Potion Bottle Set gemacht.
Gefüllt ist der Shaker mit kleinen irisierenden Perlen und einer "Geheimzutat".
Und in meinem Stanzteilvorrat habe ich dann noch den Geist aus blauem Vellum gefunden, der passte natürlich perfekt. Ich habe ihm die Arme abgeschnitten und die inneren Teile des Munds und der Augen aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Die habe ich dann grün coloriert und den Geist hinter der Flasche aufgeklebt.
The already mentioned drink - or potion - I put in a good sealed brown bottle. I made that using the Potion Bottle die set. I die cut the bottle pieces from brown cardstock and made them look a bit older with Distress Oxide Pumice Stone. And because I made the bottle a shaker element I put four layers, that I cut from thick cardstock, between the top and bottom layer.
The window in the top layer of the bottle is backed with acetate. Onto that I stamped one of the Potion Labels using white StazOn ink. I stamped the same label with black ink onto white cardstock, colored only the skulls and the liquid around them with alcohol markers, cut them out and glued them onto the label.
The bottle is decorated with some dripping down liquid, a bow, bones and a skull - all pieces made with dies that come with the Potion Bottle die.
I filled the shaker with small iridescent pearls and a "secret ingriedent".
And between my left over die cuts I found this ghost, cut from blue vellum, and it was perfect for this card. I cut off his arms and die cut the inner pieces of the mouth and eyes from white cardstock. I colored these green and glued the ghost behind the bottle.
Dann fehlte noch etwas im oberen Bereich meiner Karte. Ich habe ein Schild an einer Stange, ähnlich wie die klassischen North Pole Schilder, gestaltet. Die Stange ist einfach aus einem Streifen schwarz-weiß gestreiften Designpapier geschnitten. Oben quer habe ich ein kleines Stück schwarzen Glitter-Cardstocks angeklebt und darüber einen weiteren Totenkopf angebracht.
Das Schild habe ich mit dem Cutter aus braunem Cardstock geschnitten. Darauf habe ich dann mit Buchstaben, die ich mit dem Mix and Mingle Alphabet Set ausgestanzt habe, ein "Cheers" angebracht. Die Buchstaben sind aus weißem Cardstock und blau coloriert. Ebenso habe ich die aus der Flasche aufsteigenden Duftspuren gemacht.
Then the upper half of my card needed some elements. I created a sign on a post, inspired by the traditional north pole signs. the post I just made from a strip of black and white striped patterned paper. I glued a small piece of black glitter cardstock across the top and then glued another skull on top.
The sign I simply cut from brown cardstock using my paper cutter. Onto that I wrote "cheers" from letters I die cut using the Mix and Mingle Alphabet. I cut the letters from white cardstock and colored them blue. The smell, that's coming out of the bottle, is made the same way.
Ich habe alle Elemente auf dem Hintegrund befestigt und dann den dekorierten Cardstock auf eine weiße Slimline-Karte geklebt. Als Deko habe ich dann noch einige Sterne auf der Karte verteilt.
I arranged all the elements on the background and glued the card panel onto a white slimline card base. As decoration I added some stars to the card.

In der Flasche befinden sich kleine "Krümel", die nach dem Aufladen mit Licht blau leuchten. Deswegen ist blau auch so eine dominante Farbe auf der Karte.
Inside the bottle there are some small "crumbs" that glow blue in the dark. That's also why blue is used so much on this card.
Und auch die Sterne, die ich als Deko auf der Karte verteilt habe, leuchten im Dunkeln. Zwar eher grün als blau, aber durch die grünen Elemente auf der Karte passen sie trotzdem.
And the stars, that I added as decoration, glow in the dark, too. They have more of a green-ish glow, but since there are some green elements on the card as well, they still fit.
