Heute habe ich eine weitere Karte mit Artikeln aus dem Juni-Release von WaffleFlower für Euch - und das bedeutet natürlich, dass es wieder maritim wird.

Today I have another card with products from the june release by WaffleFlower for you - and that means, we're going maritime again.
Diesmal gehen wir mit einer Krabbe zusammen an den Strand.
Der Hintergrund besteht aus weißem Cardstock, den ich mit Distress Oxide Salty Ocean gewischt habe. Dann habe ich einige Wassertropfen aufgespritzt.
Auf den Himmel habe ich dann zwei Reihen Wellen aufgeklebt. Die habe ich mit Stanzen von LawnFawn und MFT aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Broken China gewischt. Zwischen die beiden Wellenlagen habe ich noch eine Lage grauen Cardstocks geklebt, die den Felsen bildet, auf dem der Leuchtturm steht. Auf den Felsen habe ich mit grauen Copics kleine Punkte für etwas Struktur aufgetupft.
Der Leuchtturm ist mit dem Lighthouse Stanzenset gemacht. Ich habe alle Teile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert.
This time we're joining a crab at the beach.
The background is made from a piece of white cardstock, that I inked with Distress Oxide Salty Ocen, then flicked some water onto it.
I glued two rows of waves onto the sky. I made those from light blue cardstock using dies by LawnFawn and MFT and inked them with some BrokenChina. Between the two rows of waves I put a piece of grey cardstock as the rock for my lighthouse to stand on. I used grey Copics to add little dots to the grey cardstock to give the rock some texture.
The lighthouse is made using the Lighthouse die set. I cut all pieces from white cardstock and colored them with Copics.

Es heißt ja, es ist nicht passiert, wenn es kein Foto davon gibt. Ich selbst bin meist so sehr in einem Moment, dass ich ans Fotografieren gar nicht denke, lebe also nicht nach dem Motto. Und ja, natürlich bin ich froh, dass der Rest der Familie doch gerne Fotos macht und es so Erinnerungsbilder gibt... Und auch der Krebs hat Beweisbilder für seine Freunde im Meer, die glauben ihm sonst nie, dass er diesen Trip gemacht hat.
Der Leuchtturm auf dem Foto ist Teil des Postage Collage Coastal Stencilsets. Ich habe ihn mit Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, Festive Berries, Fired Brick, Black Soot und Hickory Smoke gewischt. Dann habe ich einen Polaroidrahmen von MFT aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und ihn per Partial Diecutting nach oben verlängert, damit der Leuchtturm zumindest annähernd dahinter passt.
Das Polaroid hält eine der Happy Crabs in den Scheren. Auch die habe ich mit Copics coloriert und den Körper sowie die Scheren mit Glossy Accents überzogen.
Der Krebs steht auf einem Stück Strand. Der ist aus kraftfarbenem Cardstock, den ich mit Distress Oxide Antique Linen und Scorched Timber gewischt und mit weißer Acrylfarbe sowie etwas verwässertem Black Soot bespritzt habe.
Auf die Oberkante der Wellen sowie den Übergang zwischen Meer und Sand habe ich mit einer Spachtel etwas weiße Strukturpaste aufgetupft, als Meeresschaum.
Auch auf dieser Karte kam wieder der Seashell Frame zum Einsatz, hier aber nur der untere Teil davon. Auch den habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert.
They say that it didn't happen if there isn't proof of photograph. I personally am always so deep in a moment that I never think of taking a picture of something, so this is not the motto of my life. But yes, of course I am glad that the rest of my family love to take pictures and so there are some photos to look at later.... Also the crab took a picture of his travel destination to show his friends in the ocean, otherwise they wouldn't believe him that he made this trip.
The lighthouse on the photo is part of the Postage Collage Coastal stencil set. I stenciled it with Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, Festive Berries, Fired Brick, Black Soot and Hickory Smoke. Then I cut a polaroid frame by MFT from white cardstock, making it taller by doing some partial die cutting so the lighthouse fit at least nearly into/behind it.
One of the Happy Crabs is holding said polaroid. Again I colored him with Copics and put Glossy Accents onto the body and pincers.
The crab is standing on the beach. I made that from craft colored cardstock, that I inked with Distress Oxide Antique Linen and Scorched Timber and then added fine splatters of white acrylic paint and some watered down Black Soot.
I used a spatula to dab some white paste onto the top of the waves and also the area where the water meets the beach to create some sea foam.
Also on this card I used the Seashell Frame, but only the bottom of it. I cut it from white cardstock and colored it with Copics.
Oben auf den Himmel habe ich, passend zu dem gestencilten "Foto" ein paar kleine Wölkchen verteilt, die ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt habe.
Oben links auf den Himmel habe ich mit schwarzer Tinte den Text, der aus dem Deliver Summer Vibes Set von MamaElephant stammt, abgestempelt.
Ins Lichtfenster des Leuchtturms habe ich ein rotes Clay-Herz geklebt - im Leuchtturm auf dem Foto ist das ein winziges Herzkonfetti. Einige weitere der größeren Herzen habe ich neben dem Text sowie über dem Krebst aufgeklebt.
I added some white clouds, cut from white cardstock, to the sky so the scene matches the stenciled "photo".
In the top left corner I stamped the text from Deliver Summer Vibes by MamaElephant with black ink directly onto the sky.
Into the top window of the lighthouse I glued a red clay heart - to the lighthouse on the photo I glued a tiny heart confetti. Then I added some more of the larger hearts next to the text and above the crab.
Den Krebs samt Foto habe ich mit dünnem, den Muschelrahmen mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Dann habe ich alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.
I used thin foam tape behind the crab and polaroid, thick tape behind the seashell frame. Then I adhered the card panel to a white note card.
