Winterliche Weihnachtsstadt

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute  habe ich eine weitere Karte mit Stanzen aus dem Weihnachtsrelease von TheGreetery für Euch. Und wieder spielen Häuser die Hauptrolle - an denen kann ich einfach nicht vorbei. Neben den schmalen Häusern, die ich Euch vor kurzem gezeigt habe, gab es auch Häuser fast in Kartenfront-Größe. Und ja, ich "brauchte" alle drei Varianten. Bei drei Häusern lag natürlich eine Trifold Card nahe.

Today I am sharing with you another card using dies from the christmas release by TheGreetery. And again houses play the main roll - I just can't pass those. Besides the skinny houses I used on a card a few days ago they also had some house dies in nearly card front size. And yes, I "had to have" all three versions. Well, with three houses making a trifold card was the obvious thing to do.

 

 Die drei Häuser Market Place No. 1, No. 2 und No.3 haben alle eine leicht unterschiedliche Form - die Kartenfront bildet dieses hier. 

Ich habe für alle Häuser eine Farbkombi aus creme, dunkelgrün, weiß und schwarz mit jeweils goldenen Akzenten gewählt. So passt alles schön zusammen.

Die Deko an den Häusern ist aus dem  Market Place Holiday Festoons Set. Dieses Haus habe ich mit einer Girlande aus goldenem Metallic-Cardstock geschmückt. Aus dem sind auch die Schleifen, die ich auf die Kränze geklebt habe.

 

The three houses Market Place No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 all have a slightly different shape - this is the one I used for the card front.

I used cream, dark green, white and black for all the houses and added a few gold accents. This way the whole card makes a unit.

The decoration on the houses is from Market Place Holiday Festoons. I decorated this house with a garland cut from gold mirror cardstock. From this cardstock I also cut the bows I glued onto the wreaths.

 

 Die Elemente wie die Dächer und auch die unteren Fenster der weiteren Häuser habe ich aufgedoppelt, um für etwas mehr Dimension zu sorgen.

Außerdem habe ich mit Copics nur die weißen Elemente der einzelnen Häuser etwas schattiert. 

 

I doubled up some of the elements like the roofs and lower windows on the other houses to add some dimension. 

 I also used Copics to add some shading just to the white parts of each house. 

 

 So sieht die Karte aus, wenn man das erste Haus nach links aufklappt. Damit hier keine unschöne Hausrückseite sichtbar ist, habe ich die beiden Häuser links und rechts jeweils zweimal identisch dekoriert gestaltet und mit den Rückseiten aneinander geklebt.

 

This is what the card looks like when you fold the first flap/house to the left. To make sure there's no ugly house back visible I  created two identical ones of the houses on the left and right and glued them back to back.

 

 Jedes der Häuer habe ich jeweils rundherum ein wenig mit bräunlicher Tinte gewischt.

Auch dieses Haus ist mit einer goldenen Girlande und Kränzen geschmückt. Bei diesem - und dem nächsten - Haus habe ich jeweils die Details in den Rundungen am Dach und über der Tür mit der Schere herausgeschnitten und durch andersfarbige Teile ersetzt. Das hebt dieses schöne Detail mit den Prägungen mehr hervor.

 

I inked the edges of each house with a bit of light brown ink.

Also this house is decorated with a gold garland and some wreaths. And on this house - and also the one in the center - I cut off the details in the roof and above the door and replaced them with some cut from different colors of cardtock. That brings out those beautiful cut in details better.

 

Und so sieht die Karte dann komplett geöffnet aus. 

Die beiden Häuser links und rechts habe ich jeweils mit gefalteten Cardstock-Streifen am mittleren Haus befestigt. 

 

And this is the card opened compeltly. 

I used folded cardstock strips to adhere the houses on the sides to the one in the center.

 

 Ich habe alle Häuser wieder mit dem Schneepuder beschneit. Und weil ich an einigen Stellen wie den Fensterbrettern und oben auf den Fenstern mehr Schnee haben wollte und mit dem Puder noch am rumprobieren, also lieber etwas vorsichtig bin, habe ich hier erst etwas Schnee aus der Tube aufgetragen und das Puder dann daraufgestreut. 

 

Again I covered all the houses with the snow flock powder I wanted some areas like the window sills and the top of the windows have more snow but am still experimenting with the powder and use it kind of carefully. So I applied some snow paste to those areas first, then sprinkled the flock on top.

 

 Das Haus in der Mitte habe ich neben Kränzen mit einer Merry-Christmas-Girlande geschmückt. Auch die ist aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock gestanzt.

Hinter die Fenster habe ich jeweils eine Lage Acetate und dahinter für einen frostigen Look Wachspapier geklebt. Bei den Rücken an Rücken aufeinander geklebten Häusern befindet sich das Wachspapier nur hinter einem der Häuser.  

 

The house in the center I decorated with wreaths and a merry christmas banner. Again I cut that from gold mirror cardstock.

I glued acetate and - for a frosty look - some wax paper behind the windows. With the houses that I glued back to back I only put the wax paper behind one of them.

 

 Bei diesem mittleren Haus gibt es eine große Fensterfront am unteren Ende. Hier ist auch gleich ein Platz für ein Schild eingearbeitet. Auf das Schild habe ich mit goldenem Embossingpulver "St. Nick and Sons", einer der Shop-Namen aus dem Market Place Stempelset, aufembosst.  

Ich habe bei allen Häusern auf alle aus dunkelgrünem sowie einige aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzten Elemente goldenes Gilding Wax aufgetragen. 

This house in the center has a large window front at the bottom. There's also a sign included here. I gold heat embossed "St. Nick and Sons", one of the shop names from the Market Place stamp set, onto the sign.

On all the houses I applied gold gilding wax to all the elements cut from green and some of the ones cut from black cardstock.

 

Die Häuser kann man wunderbar als Deko aufstellen, Platz für einen persönlichen Text ist auf der Rückseite des mittleren Hauses. Hier könnte man auch eine Kartenbasis in Hausform aufkleben. Außerdem kann man elektrische Teelichter hinter die Häuser stellen, das Licht scheint dann wunderbar sanft durch das Acetate und das Waxpapier hinter den Fenstern.

 

You can put up this trifold card as decoration, on the back of the house in the center there's room for a personal message. You could also glue a house shaped card front to the back of this house. And you can put some electric tea lights behind the houses, the light shines wonderfully soft through the acetate and waxpaper behind the windows.  

 

Weihnachtsszene aus der Großstadt

Bereits letzte Woche habe ich Euch eine Karte mit neuen Stanzen von ScrappyTails gezeigt. Nun, ich liebe die PopUp-Sets von Sabrina und da konnte ich mich beim letzten Release natürlich nicht nur für ein Set entscheiden. Heute habe ich deshalb eine weitere Tunnel PopUp Card für Euch. Und die nimmt uns mit in die weihnachtliche Großstadt.

I already shared a card using new dies by ScrappyTails last week. Well, I love the PopUp die sets Sabrina designes and so of course I wasn't able to pick just one set from her latest release. Today I have another Tunnel PopUp card to share. And it's taking us to the christmas-sy city.

 

Ich finde die Tiefe, die die Szenen haben immer wieder aufs Neue grandios. Und die Sets sind mit so viel Liebe zum Detail designed. Sollte ein Shop-Besitzer aus Deutschland das hier lesen - ich wäre mehr als glücklich, wenn jemand ihre Produkte in einem deutschen Shop ins Programm aufnehmen würde!

Hier kam als Basis die Birch Tree PopUp Tunnel Card Stanze zum Einsatz. Ich habe das Hinter- und das Vorderteil jeweils aus hellem, grau-beigem Cardstock gestanzt, über das Rückteil ein rechteckiges Stück Cardstock der selben Farbe geklebt und beide Teile jeweils von oben her ein klein wenig mit Distress Ink Pumice Stone gewischt.  

Die Birken habe ich dann aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und der Baumrinde mit Copics etwas Struktur gegeben. In den Bäumen habe ich dann Vögel aus dem selben Set sowie aus dem Vintage Post AddOn Set verteilt. Die sind, wie auch der Hund, aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert.

 

I am always amazed at the depth of the scenes those dies create. And they are all designed with so much love to detail. If a german shop owner sees this post - I'd be over the moon if one of you could offer her products in the shop!

Here I used the Birch Tree PopUp Tunnel Card die for the base. I cut the front and back from light grey-ish beige cardstock, covered the back with a rectangle cut from the same cardstock and lightly inked the top of both pieces with Distress Ink Pumice Stone.

The birch trees I ut from white cardstock and used Copics to add some details to the bark. Then I sat some birds from the same set and VintagePost AddOn into the trees. Those and also the dog I cut from white cardstock and colored them with Copics.

 

 Der Hund und der Briefkasten samt Vogel mit Brief im Mund sind ebenfalls aus dem Set Vintage Post AddOn. 

Ich habe den Briefkasten aus rotem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt und die Details aus silbernem Spiegel- sowie normalem weißen und schwarzen Cardstock gestanzt. Die Schneehäubchen sind aus weißem Cardstock, ebenso der Boden. Den Schnee habe ich etwas mit hellblauen Copics schattiert und dabei die Pfotenspuren des Hunds mit eingemalt. 

Der Briefkasten ist mit ein paar Ilexblättern dekoriert, als Beeren habe ich kleine weiße Perlen aufgeklebt. Außerdem habe ich ein kleines rosafarbenes Herz auf den Briefkasten geklebt. 

Schal und Mütze des Hundes sind mit einer Extra-Stanze ein weiteres Mal gestanzt und nach dem Colorieren aufgeklebt. Auch er hält einen Brief im Mund - bestimmt will auch er Weihnachtsgrüße verschicken. Ich habe mit der Schere einen Schlitz in die Schnauze des Hundes geschnitten und dort einen Brief hineingeschoben. 

Hinter dem Hund befindet sich erst eine Lage mit zwei großen Tannenbäumen. Die sind aus dem Set -Winterscapes Trees and Deer und aus einem hellen grün-blau farbenen Cardstock gestanzt. Auch hier habe ich mit Copics einige Details aufgemalt und außerdem mit einem weißen Acrylmarker Schnee aufgemalt. Die Schneelage am Boden hier ist wieder aus dem Set Vintage Post AddOn, allerdings habe ich die Lagen teilweise etwas nach oben oder unten verschoben und Überstehendes abgeschnitten. 

Hinter den Tannen führt ein Weg mit einem Holzgeländer durch den Park. Auch das ist aus dem Set  Vintage Post AddOn. Ich habe den Zaun aus hellbraunem Cardstock gestanzt, mit Copics schattiert und dann die Schneeehäubchen aufgeklebt. Außerdem habe ich alles einmal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, den Zaun abgeschnitten und so eine perfekt passende weitere Schneelage gestaltet. Auf den Zaun habe ich ebenfalls ein Vögelchen gesetzt.

 

The dog and the post box including the bird with the letter in the beak are also from Vintage Post AddOn. 

I die cut the postbox from red mirror cardstock and cut the details rom silver mirror cardstock and white and black regular cardstock. The snow caps and also the snowy ground I cut from white cardstock. I shaded the snow with Copics a light blue and also used those markers to create the paw prints in the snow on the ground.

The postbox is decorated with some holly leaves, I used small white pearls as berries. I also added a small soft pink heart to the postbox.

The dog's scarf and hat are cut again using details dies and glued on after coloring them with Copics. Also the dog is carrying a letter in his mouth - seems like he wants to send some christmas mail, too. I cut a slit into the dog's face and stuck a little letter into it.

Behind the dog there's a layer with two large pine trees. Those are from the Winterscapes Trees and Deer set, I cut them from a light green-ish blue shade of cardstock. Again I added some details with my Coipcs and also added snow with a white acrylic marker. The snowy ground is  again from Vintage Post AddOn, I just moved some of the layers up or down and cut off any overhang at the bottom. 

Behind the pine trees a path with a wooden railing is leading through the park. The die here is again from Vintage Post AddOn. I cut the fence/railing from light brown cardstock, shaded it with Copics, then glued the small snow caps on top. I also die cut the whole layer again from white cardstock, cut off the fence and had a perfectly matching snow layer. I glued another bird onto the fence.

 

 Hinter dem Pfad lichtet sich dann der Park - hier stehen nur noch ein paar einzelne Bäume. Und dahinter sieht man die Hochhäuser der Stadt. 

Die Lage mit den Bäumen und der Straßenlaterne ist aus dem Set Central Park Skaters AddOn. Ihr seht es schon, ich habe für die Szene im Hintergrund meiner Karte hauptsächlich Blautöne benutzt, auch für die Bäume.

Die Skyline dahinter ist aus dem Set NYC Skyline AddOn und auch hier habe ich Cardstock in verschiedenen Blautönen verwendet. Die Fenster habe ich schwarz hinterlegt.

Natürlich darf auch auf diesen beiden Lagen der Schnee auf den Dächern etc. nicht fehlen. 

 

Behind the path the park ends - there are only a few trees let. And behind them you can see the tall houses of the city.

The layer with the trees and lamp post are from Central Park Skaters AddOn. For the scene in the background I mainly used blues, also for the trees.

The skyline behind those trees is from NYC Skyline AddOn and again I used different shades of blue cardstock. I put black cardstock behind the windows of those houses.

 And of course both layers needed some snow on the roofs etc.

 

 

Nachdem ich alles zusammengeklebt habe - die verschiedenen Lagen haben seitlich Laschen, die auf je einem Seitenteil rechts und links angeklebt werden - war mir die Szene noch nicht winterlich genug. Also war ich ganz mutig und habe auf die fertige Karte weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. Das hätte schief gehen können, auch wenn ich wirklich vorischtig war. Zum Glück ist alles gut gegangen und so schneit es nun sanft auf die Stadt herab. 

Für mehr Stabilität habe ich jedes der Hauptstanzteile sowie den Hund und den Briefkasten noch mit einer weiteren Lage aus weißem Cardstock hinterlegt. 

Auf einen Text habe ich dann bewusst verzichtet - auf der Rückseite ist dann Platz für einen persönlichen Gruß.

 

After I had glued the whole card together - the individual layers have flaps that get adhered to some side pieces - my card didn't look wintery enough. So I was very curageous and splattered white acrylic paint onto the finished card.  That really could have ruined the whole card but luckily everything went very smoothly and now there's snow fallling softly onto the city.

For more stability I backed each of the main die cut pieces as well as the dog and the postbox with another layer, cut from white cardstock. 

I decided to not add a text to my scene - there's plenty of room for a personal message on the back of the card.

Eine meiner Töchter ist, mal wieder, für ein halbes Jahr im Ausland, Diesmal über Weihnachten - das erste Mal, dass wir an diesem Tag nicht alle zusammen sind. 

Ich habe keine Ahnung, ob ein Paket wie erreichen würde, da sie nicht unbedingt in einem westlichen Land ist. Also habe ich ihrem Freund, der Mitte November zu ihr geflogen ist, zumindest schon mal ein Nikolauspäckchen mitgegeben. Und weil sie die Karte, die ich auf einem kleinen Geschenk angebracht hatte, schon gesehen hat, kann ich sie Euch heute zeigen.

 

Hello everyone!

One of my daughters is in a far away country - again - for 6 months. This time she's gone over christmas. It will be the first time we're not all together that day.

I have no idea if a package would reach her because she's not in any country "in the west". So I gave her boyfriend, who flew over in the middle of november to visit her, a little package for Nikolaus day. And because she's already seen the card, that I tied to a little present, I can already share it with you today.

 

Die Karte ist ein wenig kleiner als eine normale Karte. Das liegt vor allem daran, dass das Muster des Embossingfolders, den ich im Hintergrund verwendet habe, nicht größer ist. Außerdem war ich mir lange nicht sicher, ob ich nur einen Tag oder eine Karte machen wollte.

Ich habe hier ein Stück kraftfarbenen Cardstock mit dem HoHoHo-Embossingfolder von Nellie Snellen geprägt. Zu dem Folder gibt es einen identischen Stencil. Den habe ich über das geprägte Muster gelegt und die Worte mit Distress Ink Lumber Jack Plaid eingefärbt. Die kleinen Punkte und Schneeflocken habe ich mit weißer Pigment-Tinte überzogen.

 

The card is a little smaller than a regular card. Mostly because the pattern of the embossing folder, that I used to create the background, just isn't large enough for a standard card. I also wasn't sure until nearly the end of creating this if I wanted to make a card or just  a tag.

I dry embossed the background pattern into a piece of craft colored cardstock using the HoHoHo embossing folder by Nellie Snellen. There is a matching stencil that goes with the embossing folder. I put that over the embossed cardstock and colored the words with Distress Ink Lumberjack Plaid. The little dots and the snowflakes I covered with white pigment ink.

 

 Der Nikolaus aus dem Fein für's Fest Stempelset von Create a Smile war perfekt für meine Karte - er hat eine tolle Größe. 

Ich habe ihn mit dem NoLine Kissen von InkOn3 abgestempelt und mit Copics coloriert. Im Set ist auch eine passende Brille enthalten, ich wollte unbedingt eine goldene Brille mit Gläsern. Also habe ich versucht, sie auf Acetate zu embossen, aber das Pulver war ganz einfach wieder abreibbar. Ich bin mir sicher, dass das an meinem Pulver liegt, das bestimmt 20 Jahre alt ist. Also habe ich stattdessen eine Brille von CC Designs aus goldenem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt und mit Acetate hinterlegt. Nach dem Ausschneiden der Folie habe ich noch drei weitere Brillen aus weißem Cardstock dahinter geklebt, so steht sie auch gleich etwas hervor. 

Und falls Ihr Euch jetzt denkt, dass mein Nikolaus irgendwie anders als im Stempelset aussieht - ja, das tut er.  Irgendetwas hatte mich an ihm gestört. Es dauerte ein wenig bis ich draufkam, dass es die fehlenden Augenbrauen waren. Also habe ich den Schnurrbart nochmal abgestempelt, coloriert, etwas kleiner und in zwei Teilen ausgeschnitten und umgedreht als Augenbrauen aufgeklebt. 

Das Wort Merry ist aus dem Merry Christmas Sentiments Stanzenset von Scrapbook.com. Ich habe eine Lage aus dem goldenen Metallic-Cardstock und drei weitere Lagen aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und aufeinander geklebt. 

Ergänzt habe ich den Text zum einen mit einem kleinen BE aus dem Offset Sayings Christmas Set von LawnFawn und einem "Gruß vom Nikolaus", den ich mir vor Jahren mal selbst gelasert habe. Beide Texte habe ich weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

 

The Nikolaus/Santa from Fein für's Fest by Create a Smile was perfect for my card - it has a great size and isn't too small.

I stamped him with the NoLine ink by InkOn3 and colored him with Copics. There are also some glasses for Santa included in the set. I really wanted some gold glasses with actual glasses. So I gold heat embossed them onto acetate, but the powder came off once you touched the image. I am sure it's because of my powder, that is about 20 years old. So instead I die cut some glasses by CC Designs from gold mirror cardstock and glued them onto acetate. After cutting the acetate down  I put three more layers, cut from white cardstock, behind the glasses so they have some nice dimension.

And if you wonder, why my Santa looks somehow different from the one in the stamp set - yes, it does. There was something with the image that bothered me. And it took me some time to realize, that it is the missing eyebrows. So I stamped the mustache again, colored it, cut it out  a bit smaller and into two pieces  and adhered those as eyebrows to the face. 

The word merry is from the Merry Christmas Sentiments die set by Scrapbook.com. I cut it once from gold mirror cardstock and three times from white cardstock and stacked them.

I completed the text with a small BE from Offset Sayings Christmas by LawnFawn and a "greetings from St. Nick". I lasered myself this stamp quite a few years ago. Both texts I white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

 

 Den Nikolaus und die Texte habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt und das Merry dann obenauf gesetzt.

Die Nikolausmütze habe ich mit einem kleinen weißen Herz dekoriert und zwei weitere Herzen auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Den habe ich dann weiß gemattet und auf ein Stück schräg rot-weiß gestreiftes Designpapier geklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einen oben gefalteten Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I adhered Nikolaus and the texts with thin foam tape, then glued the merry on top, overlapping the larger text strip and the image.

I decorated Nikolaus' hat with a small white clay heart and glued two more onto the background. Then I matted it white and adhered it to a piece of patterned paper with red and white slanted stripes.

As the last step I adhered the card panel to a white top folding note card.

 

Christmas Greetings

Heute habe ich eine Window Shaker Weihnachtskarte für Euch. Ideengeber für die Kartenart war, mal wieder, Jennifer McGuire. Ende Oktober hatte sie ein Video für dafür gepostet und ich wollte sie unbedingt ausprobieren.

Today I have a window shaker christmas card to share. Once again I've seen this type of card in a video of Jennifer McGuire. She postet it end of october and I really wanted to try it.

 

 Wie der Name schon verrät, ist hier ein Shaker in die Karte eingebaut. Allerdings ist der vorne und hinten durchsichtig, so dass man, wie durch ein Fenster, das Innere der Karte sehen kann.

Ich habe hier einen oben gefalteten Kartenrohling aus weißem Cardstock als Basis verwendet und aus ihm sowie einem etwas kleineren Stück olivgrünen Cardstocks jeweils das zweitgrößte der Nesting Piercing Ticket Frames  von WaffleFlower ausgestanzt. 

Den grünen Cardstock habe ich mit etwas Distress Ink Forest Moss gewischt und dann weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

 

As the name says already there is a shaker included in this card. But it's clear on the front and back so, just like through a window, you can see the inside of the card through it.

I used a top folded white note card for my base and cut the second largest Nesting Piercing Ticket Frames by WaffleFlower from it and a slightly smaller piece of olive green cardstock.

I shaded the green cardstock lightly with Distress Ink Forest Moss and then splattered white acrylic paint onto it. 

 

 Auf die vordere Folien-Lage des Shakers habe ich die Ilexblätter aus dem Vintage Poinsettia Stempelset von WhimsyStamps mit silbernem Glitter-Embossingpulver aufembosst - einmal oben und einmal unten. Die Beeren habe ich von der Rückseite her mit einem weißen Acrylmarker ausgefüllt.

Ich habe den Shaker mit klaren, hellgrünen und silber-weißen Mini-Perlen gefüllt. 

Die untere Lage der Folie versteckt sich unter dem grünen Cardstock, als oberen Abschluss habe ich einen weiteren der Ticket Frames aufgeklebt. Den habe ich aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt. 

 

I heat embossed the holly leaves from the Vintage Poinsettia stamp set by WhimsyStamps with silver glitter embossing powder onto the top acetate layer of the shaker - I stamped the image once onto the top and once onto the bottom of the acetate. I filled the berries with a white acrylic marker, putting the paint onto the back of the acetate.

I filled the shaker with clear, light green and silver-white micro beads.

The bottom acetate layer of the shaker is hidden behind the green cardstock, as the top layer of the shaker I cut another of the ticket frames from silver glitter cardstock.

 

 Ich habe den Ticket-Rahmen nicht ganz mittig aus meiner Karte, sondern etwas nach unten versetzt gestempelt. So blieb oben am Rahmen genug Platz für eine große Schleife. Die ist eine Kombi aus einer der Schleifen aus dem Geschenkbänder und Schleifen Set sowie den Enden der Großen Schleife, beides von Charlie und Paulchen. Die kringeln sich so schön nach unten und verdecken auch das obere Motiv nicht so, wie die zur Schleife gehörenden Enden.

Ich habe die Teile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, mit Copics schattiert und auf den Rahmen geklebt. Die Schleifenteile habe ich dabei etwas mit dem Finger gerundet.

 

I didn't cut the ticket frame centered from my card but moved it a bit down. Now there was room for a bow at the top. The bow is a combination from one of the bows from Geschenkbänder and Schleifen  and the ends of the Große Schleife set, both by Charlie und Paulchen. Those ends curl up so nicely and they also don't cover as much of the holly leaves at the top as the regular ends, coming with the bow die, does.

I cut the pieces from white cardstock, shaded them with Copics and adhered them to the frame. Before putting the bow together I rounded the pieces slightly with my fingernail.

 

 Im unteren Bereich habe ich quer über den Shaker meinen Text geklebt.

Das Wort Christmas ist aus dem Stanzenset Christmas Season von Altenew. Ich habe es einnmal aus weißem und einmal aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und die Teile aufeinander sowie auf den Shaker geklebt. Den I-Punkt habe ich durch eine weiße Perle ersetzt und zwei weitere, kleinere darüber angeklebt.

Das kleine Greetings darunter ist aus dem Set Itty Bitty Holidays von MFT und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

 

In the lower half I adhered my text all across the shaker.

The word christmas I from the Christmas Season die set by Altenew. I cut it from white and dark green cardstock, stacked them and adhered them across the shaker. I replaced the dot above the I with a white pearl and added two more right above the first one.

The small greetings is from Itty Bitty Holidays by MFT and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

 

 Es ist wirklich schwer, die glitzernden Motive auf dem Shaker zu fotografieren, er reflektiert wirklich stark. Aber ich denke, Ihr könnt es erahnen.

Mit einem silbernen Gelstift habe ich noch einen Rahmen entlang des äußeren Bereichs des grünen Cardstocks sowie des Shakers aufgemalt.

 

It's really hard to take a picture of the glittery images on top of the shaker, everything is just reflecting the light too much. But I'm sure you can kind of see it.

I used a silver gel pen to draw a frame along the outer edge of the green cardstock and also the shaker.

 

 So sieht die geöffnete Karte aus - und hier sieht man den durchsichtigen Shaker echt gut. 

Den weißen Ticket-Rahmen, den ich aus der Kartenbasis gestanzt habe, habe ich von innen gegen die hintere Folie geklebt, um das 3D Tape, das ich für den Shaker brauchte, zu verdecken.

 

This is the opened card - and you can see the see-through shaker pretty well here.

From the inside I glued the white ticket frame, that I had cut from the front of my card base, onto the back acetate piece of the shaker to hide the foam tape I had used to create my shaker.

 

 Den Cardstock, der durch den Shaker sichtbar ist, könnt Ihr hier sehen.

Ich habe ein Stück hellgrünen Cardstocks mit Distress Ink Peeled Paint schattiert und dann mit weißer Pigment-Tinte den Christmas Background von MFT aufgestempelt. 

Im unteren Bereich habe ich ein weiteres Ilex-Motiv aus dem selben Stempelset wieder mit silbernem Glitter-Embossing-Pulver aufembosst und die sichtbaren Beeren weiß ausgefüllt.

Auch der Text im Inneren ist aus dem Itty Bitty Holidays Set von MFT. Ich habe hier das Wort Christmas, das sich ja schon auf der Vorderseite befindet, durch ein Season eines anderen Texts ersetzt. 

Den schwarzen Streifen mit dem weiß aufembossten Text habe ich dann quer über den grünen Cardstock geklebt. Er ist durch den Shaker ein wenig zu sehen, wird aber doch recht gut from gestanzten Wort verdeckt.

Mit einem silbernen Gelstift habe ich auch hier einen Rahmen aufgemalt.

 

This is the cardstock, that's visible through the shaker. 

I shaded a piece of light green cardstock with Distress Ink Peeled Paint and stamped the Christmas Background by MFT with white pigment ink onto it.

In the lower area I stamped another holly leaves image from the same set onto the cardstock. I heat embossed it with the silver glitter cardstock and again filled the berries white.

The text on the inside is again from Itty Bitty Holidays by MFT I replaced the word christmas, that I already used on the front of the card, with the word season from another text of the set. I  glued the black cardstock strip with the white heat embossed text across the green cardstock. It's slightly visible through the shaker but the die cut word hides it pretty well.

Again I used a silver gel pen to draw a frame onto the cardstock.

 

 Und wenn Ihr Euch jetzt fragt, wo denn hier Platz für einen persönlichen Text ist: auch daran hat Jennifer gedacht. Der grüne Cardstock ist nämlich auf einer weiteren, aber etwas kleineren, oben gefalteten Karte angebracht. Darin ist dann genug Platz für persönliche Worte.

 

And if you wonder where you can add a personal text here: Jennifer also thought of that. The green cardstock is adhered to another, slighliy smaller top folding note card. Inside of it you have plenty of room to write some personal words.

Das Weihnachts-Release von TheGreetery war der absolute Hammer. Und oh mein Gott, bin ich eskaliert. Stell Euch also die nächste Zeit auf so einige Karten etc. mit den Produkten aus diesem Release ein. Starten tue ich mit dieser Karte. Und wie so oft, wenn ich eine größere Bestellung bekomme, möchte ich am liebsten alles auf einmal verwenden. Es kam hier also definitiv mehr als ein Set zum Einsatz...

 

Hello everyone!

The christmas release by TheGreetery was spectacular. And oh my god, did I go overboard. So be prepared for more then just one card with these products the next weeks. I am starting with this card today. And as so often, when I get a larger order in, I want to use everything at once. So I definately used more than just one set for this card.

 

 Basis für die Karte war das Capsule Basics Set, das gibt es ja schon ein klein wenig länger. Neu - zumindest für mich - war aber der dazugehörige Embossingfolder. Ich habe das große gewellte Oval aus dunkelblauem Cardstock gestanzt und mit besagtem Embossingfolder embosst. Die embossten Linien habe ich dann mit weißer Pigment-Tinte hervorgehoben, die ich vorsichtig mit einem Brayer aufgetragen habe.

Mit weiteren Stanzen aus dem Capsule Basics Set habe ich einen Ring aus grau-grünem Cardstock gestanzt und dann das Blumenmuster mit dem Rosemal Reflections Embossingfolder eingeprägt. Das Muster habe ich dann ein klein wenig betont, indem ich silbernes Gilding Wax mit dem Finger aufgetragen habe.

 

Base for this card is the Capsule Basics die set. It's not brand new. But what is new - at least to me - is the matching embossing folder. I die cut the large scalloped oval from dark blue cardstock and dry embossed it with that embossing folder. I highlighted the embossed lines with some white pigment ink, that I applied with a brayer. 

Using more dies from the Capsule Basics die set I die cut the ring from grey-ish green cardstock and then dry embossed the flower pattern into it using the Rosemal Reflections embossing folder. Then I dabbed some silver gilding wax onto the raised parts to bring out the pattern a bit more.

 

 Als Deko habe ich zwei Girlanden aus dem Market Place Holiday Festoons Set im oberen Bereich des Ovals gespannt. Die Girlande mit dem Merry Christmas ist aus silbernem Spiegel-, die Kugelgirlande aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt.

Unten habe ich dann ein Banner quer über den Rahmen gelegt. Da mir das Rosemal Reflections Banner zu kurz war, habe ich hier ein Banner von LawnFawn benutzt und aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt. Außerdem habe ich es mit einem Banner aus dunkelblauem Cardstock hinterlegt. 

Auf das Banner habe ich einen der Texte aus dem Rosemal Reflections Sentiments Stempelset schwarz aufgestempelt. Die Texte sind passend zum Banner aus Rosemal Reflections geschwungen, ich musste den Stempel im Misti ein wenig verbiegen, damit er auf mein Banner passt.

Die Ränder des hellblauen Cardstocks habe ich wieder mit silbernem Gilding Wax betupft. Als Deko habe ich rechts und links des Textes jeweils ein Ilex-Blatt aus Ornamental Tag sowie zwei silberne Perlen als Beeren aufgeklebt.

 

As decoration I've hung two garlands from Market Place Holiday Festoons across the top part of the oval. The merry christmas garland is cut from silver mirror, the one with the dots from silver glitter cardstock. 

At the bottom of the oval I glued a banner all across the oval. The banner from Rosemal Reflections was too short for what I had in mind so I used a banner by LawnFawn here and die cut it from light blue cardstock. I also backed it with a banner cut from dark blue cardstock. 

I stamped one of the texts from Rosemal Reflections Sentiments onto the banner using black ink. The text is shaped to fit the Rosemal Reflections banner. When placing it in my Misti I had to slightly change the curves of the stamp to make it fit the banner by LawnFawn.  

Again I dabbed some silver gilding wax onto the edges of the light blue bannner.  I decorated the bannner with a holly leaf from Ornamental Tag and two silver pearls as berries.

 

 Aus diesem Winkel sieht man den Glanz und Schimmer auf der Karte viel besser.

 

From this angle you can see the shimmer and shine on this card a lot better.

 

 Meine Karte lässt sich nicht komplett öffnen - zumindest nicht vorne. Die eigentliche Karte habe ich mit den Capsule Basics Stanzen gemacht und hinter das große blaue Oval geklebt. Auf der Vorderseite der Karte lässt sich tatsächlich nur der grau-grüne Rahmen aufklappen.

Den habe ich von hinten mit schwarzem Cardstock hinterlegt und auch die beiden Girlanden im oberen Bereich sind damit hinterlegt, einfach um eine saubere Rückseite zu haben.

Zwischen die beiden Lagen - und hinter den blauen Rahmen - habe ich ein Scharnier, gemacht aus einem Streifen schwarzen Cardstocks, angebracht. 

 

My card can't be opened completly - at least not on the front. The "real" card I cut with the Capsule Basics dies and attached it behind the large blue oval. On the front the grey-ish green frame is the only thing that can be opened. 

 I backed the oval and the two garlands in the upper half with black cardstock, just to have a clean look on the back. 

I put a hinge, made from a strip of black cardstock, between the layers of the frame on the front and the dark blue oval on the inside.

 

 Auf der Innenseite habe ich einen weiteren ovalen Rahmen, diesmal aus dunkelblauem Cardstock gestanzt, angebracht. Den habe ich mit Stempeln aus dem Rosemal Reflections Stempelset dekoriert. Die Ranken habe ich mit Versamark gestempelt und mit Distress Embossing Glaze Prize Ribbon embosst. Die Blumen habe ich silbern aufembosst. Eigentlich sind das kleine Layering-Stempel, ich habe jeweils das größte der Motive benutzt. Das sah jetzt aber als silberne Fläche nicht ganz so toll aus. Also habe ich die Details mit schwarzem StazOn auf das silberne Embossingpulver gestempelt.

 

On the inside I adhered another oval frame, this time cut from dark blue cardstock. I decorated it with stamps from the Rosemal Reflections stamp set.

I stamped the leaves/vines with Versamark and applied Distress Embossing Glaze Prize Ribbon. The flowers I heat embossed with silver embossing powder. Well, these are little layering stamps, I used the most solid layers. But the plain silver looked a bit strange. So I stamped the details on top of the silver embossing using black StazOn.

 

 Im Inneren des blauen Rahmens befinden sich die schmalen Häuschen aus Market Place Mini. Ich habe sie aus Cardstock in verschiedenen Blautönen gestanzt, die Deko aus grauem und weißem Cardstock sowie hellgrün für die Fensterläden des Hauses ganz rechts. Die Dächer und Details im Mauerwerk habe ich jeweils aufgedoppelt. Hinter die Fenster habe ich Waxpapier gesetzt, das gibt eine tolle Frost-Optik.

Und natürlich müssen Häuser zur Weihnachtszeit festlich geschmückt werden. Hier kamen weitere Stanzen aus dem Market Place Holiday Festoons zum Einsatz. Die Schleifen sind aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt.

Bei den Beispielen für das Release kam Schneepuder zum Einsatz - das musste ich auch haben. Es enthält Kleber, der mit Wasser reagiert, der Schnee wird mit einem feinen Sieb aufgetragen. Ich habe es hier das erste Mal verwendet und vorsichtshalber erstmal weniger aufgetragen. Das nächste Mal traue ich mich mehr, hier sind die Häuser, nur im oberen Bereich, leicht überzuckert. Apropos - als Puderzucker auf Cardstock-Plätzchen oder Lebkuchenhäusern macht sich das Pulver bestimmt auch super!

Am Himmel habe ich einen großen Stern, gestanzt aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock, sowie kleine silberne Sternkonfetti auf den Himmel geklebt. Der größere Stern ist mit einer Stanze aus dem Nativity Set von MFT gemacht.

 

Inside the blue frame I put the tall houses from Market Place Mini. I cut them from different shades of blue cardstock, for the details I used grey and white cardstock and some green for the shutters of the house on the right. The roofs and details on the walls I doubled up. Behind the windows I put some wax paper, it adds a great frosty touch. 

And of course the houses have to have a festive look during christmas season. I used more dies from Market Place Holiday Festoons for them. The bows I cut from silver glitter cardstock.

On some of the samples for this release some snow flock was used - and of course I had to have it. It contains glue, that gets activated by water, the powder is applied with a fine sifter. I used it for the first time here and - just in case - went very light. Next time I dare to use more. So here the houses just have a soft layer of snow, only on the top. Oh, and I guess this stuff also looks great used as powdered sugar on cardstock christmas cookies or gingerbread houses!

Onto the sky I glued a larger star, cut from silver glitter cardstock, and some small silver star confetti. The larger star is made using a die from the Nativity set by MFT.

 

 

Ganz oben habe ich dann noch eine große Schleife hinter das blaue Oval geklebt. Die Schleife ist natürlich auch bei geschlossener Karte sichtbar.

Ich habe hier eine Hälfte der Big Beautiful Bow von TheGreetery benutzt und sie aus hell- und dunkelblauem Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe die Teile leicht mit Copics schattiert und aufgeklebt. Dann habe ich auch die Schleife mit Ilexblättern und kleinen silbernen Perlen dekoriert. 

 

Behind the top of the frame I adhered a large bow. The bow, of course, is also visible when the card is closed.

I used one half of the Big Beautiful Bow by TheGreetery and cut it from light and dark blue cardstock. I shaded the pieces with Copics and glued them down. Then I decorated the bow with more holly leaves and small silver pearls.

 

 Ich habe die Häuser rechts und links mit dünnem, den Rahmen mit dickem 3D Tape auf das gewellte blaue Oval, das quasi meine Basis bildet, geklebt. 

 

I used thin foam tape to adhere the left and right house, thick foam tape behind the frame to adhere the pieces to the large scalloped oval, that's my card base.

In einem meiner letzten Posts habe ich ja bemerkt, dass meine Karten momentan ziemlich Stanzen-lastig sind. Also habe ich hier mal wieder ein gestempeltes Motiv benutzt und dafür die Caroling Mice aus dem Winter-Release von LawnFawnn eingeweiht. Ganz ohne Stanzen geht es natürlich aber nicht...

In one of my last posts I realized, that my cards are pretty diecut-heavy lately. So I used a stamped image on this card, bringing out the Caroling Mice from the winter release by LawnFawn. But I just can't do completly without dies...

 

 Die Landschaft im Hintergrund ist mit Stanzen gemacht. 

Für den Himmel habe ich dunkelblauen Cardstock verwendet und als Sterne goldene Metallic-Watercolor fein aufgespritzt.

Davor befindet sich eine Lage schneebedeckter Berge. Die habe ich mit der Stitched Mountain Border aus dunkelgrauem Cardstock gestanzt.

Wieder davor liegt ein kleines Dorf. Das ist ebenfalls aus dem neusten Release und heißt Village Hillside Border. Ich habe sie aus dunkelblauem Cardstock gestanzt und dabei auch einige der Bäume aus dem Set aus dem selben Cardstock gestanzt. Die Fenster der Häuser habe ich mit grau-blauem Cardstock hinterlegt. Die Berge und die Häuser habe ich von unten ein wenig mit Distress Ink Hickory Smoke gewischt.

Aus weißem Cardstock habe ich drei Lagen Schnee gestanzt und mit Copics ein wenig schattiert. Eine der Lagen habe ich vor das Dorf geklebt und einige kleine Bäume darauf angebracht. Zwischen dieser und der nächsten Schneelage befindet sich ein Zaun. Der ist mit der Little Farm Fence Stanze aus grauem Cardstock gemacht und ebenfalls mit Copics schattiert.

 

The scene in the background is created with dies.

For the sky I used dark blue cardstock and spritzed fine splatters of gold metallic watercolor onto it as stars. 

 In the very back there's a row of snow capped mountains. I die cut these from dark grey cardstock using the Stitched Mountain Border dies.

In front of the mountains there's a little village. It's also a new die from the latest release and called Village Hillside Border. I cut it from dark blue cardstock and also cut a few of the individual trees from the set, cutting them from the same cardstock. I put grey-ish blue cardstock behind the windows of the houses. The bottom of the houses and the mountains I shaded lightly with Distress Ink Hickory Smoke.

From white cardstock I cut three layers of snow and shaded them with Copics. I glued one of the layers right in front of the houses and put a few smaller trees onto it. Between this layer of snow and the next one I put up a fence. It's cut from grey cardstock using the Farm Fence die, then shaded with Copics, too.

 

 Hauptelement der Karte sind natürlich die singenden Mäuse vor dem großen Weihnachtsbaum. Sie stehen auf dem Marktplatz des kleinen Ortes und bringen mit ihren Weihnachtsliedern alle in festliche Stimmung. 

Der Weihnachtsbaum ist aus dem Set Christmas Dreams, die Mäuse und die Laternen samt Schleifen aus dem bereits erwähnten Caroling Mice Set. Ich habe alle Motive mit Copics coloriert und dann ausgeschnitten. Die Kugeln des Christbaums habe ich mit Glossy Accents überzogen, außerdem habe ich auf dem Baum viele kleine Punkte mit goldenen Stickles als Lichter verteilt.

Ich habe alle Elemente auf der Karte mit Schneepaste beschneit. Die habe ich einfach mit einer kleinen Palette aufgetragen. 

Ich habe die Motive auf die zweite Schneelage geklebt und eine weitere davor gesetzt. Auf der sind die Laternen angeklebt.

Anfangs war ich mir nicht ganz sicher, ob ich den Text meiner Karte oben oder unten anbringen wollte, und die Karte länger gemacht. Als dann klar war, dass ich ihn auf den Himmel stempeln wollte, habe ich den Schnee unten ein wenig gekürzt und diesen Bereich der Karte mit zwei weiteren Mäusen aus dem Caroling Mice Set ergänzt. Die lauschen andächtig dem Gesang der anderen Mäuse. 

Dann habe ich die komplette Szene mit weißer Acrylfarbe bespritzt, so dass dicke Schneeflocken vom Himmel fallen. Vielleicht habe ich es bei dieser Karte mit dem Schnee ein wenig übertrieben, aber das fällt mir erst jetzt auf, wo ich die Fotos sehe. In Wirklichkeit wirkt es gar nicht so schlimm. Nun, fürs Wetter kann man ja bekanntlich nichts und man muss es nehmen, wie es kommt. ;)

 

Main element on this card are the singing mice in front of the large christmas tree. They are standing on the marketplace in their little town and put everyone in a festive mood with the christmas songs they are singing.

The christmas tree is from Christmas Dreams, the mice and lanterns with bows from said Caroling Mice set.  I colored all images with Copoics and then cut them out with my scissors. I covered the baubles on the tree with Glossy Accents and added a lot of tiny dots with gold Stickles to the tree so they look like twinkeling lights.

I used snow paste on all the elements to cover them with snow. I simply used a small palette knife to apply it.

I adhered the images onto the second layer of snow and put a third one in front of it. The lanterns are adhered to this layer.

First I wasn't sure if I wanted to put my sentiment onto the sky or onto the bottom of the card so I made the card longer than I needed it to be. Once I decided to put the sentiment onto the sky I shortened the snow at the bottom and filled that area with two more mice from Caroling Mice. Those are listening to the songs the other mice perform. 

Then I used white acylic paint and splattered it all over the scene. Now there are thick snowflakes falling from the sky. I may have gone a bit overboard with the snow here but I am only realizing that now that I see the pictures. It's not as bad in real life at it seems here. Well, you can't change the weather and have to take what youu get... ;)

 

 Den Text habe ich dann mit Stempeln aus dem Set Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments zusammengesetzt und weiß auf den Himmel embosst. Dabei habe ich vom größeren Text das O von Joy nicht mit abgestempelt und das J etwas weiter nach links versetzt. So war zwischen den Buchstaben genug Platz, um das O durch einen Weihnachtskranz zu ersetzen. Der ist aus dem Set Build-a-House Christmas Add-On. Ich habe ihn aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert.

 

 I put the text together using stamps from Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments and white heat embossed it onto the sky. I didn't stamp the O from the word joy and also moved the J a bit to the left. So inbetween the letters there's room to replace the O with a christmas wreath with a bow. That's from Build-a-House Christmas AddOn. I die cut it from white cardstock and colored it with Copics.

 

 Zwischen den einzelnen Lagen der Szene befindet sich dünnes 3D Tape. Zum Schluss hae ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

There's thin foam tape between each of the layers of the scene. After putting everything together I glued the card panel onto a white note card.

 

Advent, Advent

Der erste Advent steht vor der Tür und ich habe heute eine Karte mit Advetskranz für Euch.

Advent - the four weeks before christmas - is near and today I am sharing a card with an advent wreath with you.

 

Noch sind die Kerzen alle aus, aber das muss nicht so bleiben:

 Ich habe hier einen Slider hinter den Kerzenflammen versteckt. Den kann man dann jede Woche ein Stück weiter herausziehen, so dass immer eine weitere Kerze "angezündet" wird. 

 

I put a slider behind the flames here. You can pull that out a bit further each week so each week an additional candle gets "lit up".

 

 Den Hintergrund der Karte habe ich aus hellgrauem Cardstock gemacht. Aus dem habe ich an passender Stelle die Kerzenflammen ausgestanzt. Dann habe ich ihn mit Distress Ink Hickory Smoke und Black Soot gewischt und im äußerden Bereich silberne Metallic Watercolor aufgesprüht.

 

I  made the background from light grey cardstock. I cut the flames from the rights spots of the cardstock, then inked it with Distress Ink Hickory Smoke and Black Soot. Onto the outer areas I added splatters of silver metallic watercolor.

 

 Der Adventskranz ist mit der Adventskranz-Stanze von CreativeDepot gemacht. Den habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Da er mir etwas zu flach war, habe ich ihn ein weiteres Mal aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt, einzelne Zweige ausgeschnitten und auch die mit Copics schattiert. Die habe ich dann zusammen mit weiteren Kugeln und der Schleife, die ich wieder aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und coloriert habe, auf den bereits colorierten Kranz geklebt. Eigentlich hat der Kranz nur eine große Kugel sowie einen Apfel, eine Zimtstange und einige Beeren als Deko. Ich habe fast alles davon mit den Zweigen und weiteren Kugeln überklebt. Die Schleife habe ich dreimal gestanzt, in Teile geschnitten und dann gelayert wieder aufgebaut.

Die Kugeln habe ich dann noch mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Der Text ist mit Texten aus dem Stempelset Advent, Advent von Create a Smile zusammengesetzt. Eigentlich gibt es da genau diesen Text, aber dort war mir das Advent zu klein. Außerdem war der Text zweizeilig, was nicht mehr auf meine Karte gepasst hat. Also habe ich ein anderes Advent aus dem Set benutzt - deswegen fehlen auch die Kommas zwischen den Worten. Ich habe den Text mit weißem Embossingpulver direkt auf den Hintergrund embosst. Dann habe ich den Adventskranz darüber aufgeklebt und mit einem schwarzen Copic einen Schatten auf den Hintergrund gemalt. 

 

 The advent wreath is made with the Adventskranz die by CreativeDepot. I cut that from white cardstock and colored it with Copics. Since it was a bit too flat for my taste, I cut it again from green cardstock, cut out different branches from that wreath and shaded those with Copics. Then I glued those and some more ornaments and the bow, that I cut from white cardstock again and colored them, onto the already colored wreath. This wreath originally only has one ornament and an apple, a cinnamon stick and some berries as decoration. I covered most of it with the additional branches and more ornaments. The bow I cut three times, cut them down and built up a dimensional bow.

The text I white heat embossed directly onto the background using stamps by Create a Smile. The text is the start of a german poem and means "advent, advent, a light is burning". There is a verse for each sunday in advent, when the next candle is traditionally lit up for the first time. 

I glued the wreath above the text onto the background, then added a shadow under it with a black Copic marker.

 

 Beim Herausziehen des Sliders erscheint dann auch jeweils eine Zahl, entsprechend der Zahl der bereits leuchtenden Kerzen. Eigentlich wollte ich ein "Advent" darunterstempeln, aber das wäre dann beim Aufziehen des Sliders durch die Flammenausschnitten sichtbar gewesen. Das ist auch der Grund, warum die Zahlen so weit oben auf den Cardstockstreifen aufembosst sind.

Hinter den Flammen befindet sich silberner Glitter-Cardstock, den ich auf den Kartenrohling geklebt habe.

 

When you pull out the slider,  a number, matching the already burning candles, appears on the cardstock strip. I had planned to stamp the word "advent" under the numbers, but it would have been visible through the flame cut outs. That's also the reason why I placed the numbers so high up on the cardstock strip.

Behind the flames I glued some silver glitter cardstock onto the card base. 

 

 Um genug Platz für den Slider zu haben, habe ich den dekorierten Cardstock mit 3D Tape auf den weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. Zum Schluss habe ich dann noch einen Rahmen mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt.

 

To have enough space for the slider I adhered the card panel with foam tape to the white card base.  Then I used a white gel pen to add a frame.
