Es gibt eine neue Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under und diesmal haben wir einen Sketch plus die Option, Spitze und Doo Hickeys (Cutting Dies von Magnolia) zu verwenden. So sieht der Sketch aus:

There is a new challenge at Magnolia Down Under and this week we have a sketch and the option of using doilies and Doo Hickeys. This is the sketch:

Ich habe hier die süße Honeybee Tilda und den Barbed Wire Background benutzt. Keine Angst,sie tut sich am Stacheldraht nicht weh. Für die Option habe ich neben Spitze noch die Grass Lace, den Swirl und den Mistletoe. Die Farben sind für mich total ungewohnt, aber warum nicht mal was anderes!

I used the cute Honeybee Tilda and the Barbed Wire Background here. Don't worry, she won't get hurt from the wire. For the option I used a doily and the Grass Lace, the swirl and the mistletoe cutting dies. The colors are quite unusual for me but why not trying something different sometimes?

Summer Flower - meiner Meinung nach die Süßeste aus der neuen Kollektion. Und die habe ich hier zum ersten Mal verwendet. Farblich habe ich mal nicht rosa verwendet, sonder ein tiefes Türkis. Steht Ihr doch auch nicht schlecht, oder?

Summer Flower Tilda - I think she's the cutest from all the new ones. And here I used her for the first time. I went with a dark turquoise instead pink here. I think it fits her wonderfully.

Of course there is a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday also this week. "Food or drink" is the theme we picked this week.

Das war natürlich das perfekte Thema, um die neue Burger Tilda abzustempeln. Und ich habe damit eine Einladung zur Grillparty gemacht: im Hintergrund eine Rezeptkarte, rot und weiß, einem Küchenhandschuh und einem Kochlöffelcharm und dem Text "Grillparty, komm vorbei".

This was the perfekt theme to ink up the new Burger Tilda. And I used her to make a barbecque invite: a recipe card in the background, red and white as the main colors, a kitchen glove and a spoon charm and the saying "BBQ - come on over".

Whiff Of Joy Challenge - paper piecing

Schönen Mittwoch Euch allen.
Es sind schon wieder zwei Wochen vergangen, darum startet unsere neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy Challenges. Paper Piecing ist das Thema, das wir für Euch ausgesucht haben.

Two weeks have passed again and so we at Whiff Of Joy Challenges have a new challenge up for you. Paper Piecing is the theme we picked.

Ich habe "Ben im Regen" verwendet. Die Ben und Nora Stempel sind super für das Paper Piecing geeignet, da sie zwar detailliert sind, die einzelnen Teile sich aber noch gut ausschneiden lassen. Ich habe mich am klassischen Friesennerz in gelb orientiert, wollte aber etwas Muster reinbringen und habe daher das gelb-weiß gemusterte Papier für Jacke und Schuhe benutzt. Der Regenschirm und das Shirt sind aus blauem Papier mit grünen Punkten, wobei man die Punkte auf dem Shirt nicht sieht. Und das tolle beim Papier Piecing ist, dass man sich über passenden Papiere kaum Gedanken zu machen braucht...

I used "Ben in the Rain". Those Ben and Nora stamps are perfect for paper piecing since they are full of details but those pieces can still be cut out easily. I wanted to go with the classical yellow jacket and shoes for rain clothes but wanted to add some structure and so I used this white and yellow paper. The umbrella and the shirt are made from the same blue paper with green dots but there can't be seen any dots on the shirt. And the good thing with paper piecing is that you don't have to think long about matching papers....

Die "Wiederholungstäter" unter Euch wissen, dass ich Euch heute wieder ein Werk mit einem Sugar Nellie Stempel zeige. Und ich habe mal wieder zu einem der Simply Sassy Stempel gegriffen...

Those of you that come to my blog regularly know that I am sharing a new Sugar Nellie creation today. And once again I picked a Simply Sassy image...

Die mit Brille sind mir irgendwie am liebsten - so auch "I Love To Read". Er ist so wunderbar vielseitig einsetzbar - zum ersten Schultag, auf Schultüten oder auch als Lesezeichen, so wie bei mir hier heute.
Sommersprossen und rote Haare, so stelle ich sie mir vor. Und so habe ich sie dann auch coloriert.
Der Tag ist mit einem Buchstabenmix von Stampin'Up bestempelt und mit kleinen Farbspritzern verziert. Auch die Papiere im Vordergrund sind mit Buchstaben/Texten bedruckt. Ein Buch-Charm und das Wort "read" runden das ganze dann ab. Die Enden des Bandes sind so lang, dass sie unten aus dem Buch herausschauen - aber dann wäre das Lesezeichen auf dem Foto so klein gewesen, dass Ihr nichts mehr hättet erkennen können... ;)

I love those with glasses the most - and I Love To Read is one of those. It can be used in so many ways - for a first day of school card, a school cone or on a bookmark, like I did here.
Some how I think of freckles and red hair when I look at this cutie, and this is what I colored her today.
On the tag there have been stamped on letter by Stampin' Up. Also the other papers have letters/text printed on them. A book charm and the word "read" are the perfect finish for this.
The ribbon is long enough to show up at the bottom of the book - but if I would have shown that on a photo the bookmark would have been so small on the picture that you wouldn't have been able to see any details... ;)

Montag Morgen... und es gibt natürlich eine neue Challenge bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity. "Perlen und Spitze" ist unser neues Thema.

It's monday morning - and of course there is a new challenge over at Stamps&Fun=Creativity. Pearls and lace is the new theme we picked for you.

Ich habe eines der neuen Sarah Kay Motive verwendet: Susie Ponders. Sie ist auf kraftfarbenen Cardstock gestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und für das Kleid habe ich einen weißen Polychromo verwendet. Aus Perlen habe ich einen großen Schnörkel "gebastelt", Spitze in Form von Deckchen und Häkelspitze durfte nicht fehlen, dazu dann noch Crackle Paint und fertig ist die Vintage-Karte.

I used one of the new Sarah Kay images: Susie Ponders. I stamped her on kraft cardstock, colored her with Copics and used a white Polychromo/Prismacolor pencil for her dress. From pearls I made that big swirl, added lace and doilies and some Crackle Paint and the vintage card was done.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 5. Mai 2012

Wunderschönen Samstag - und willkommen zu einer neuen Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins!
Heute haben wir für Euch die Anleitung für eine 6-Eck-Box.

Happy saturday and welcome to a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins!
This week we are sharing a tutorial for how to make this little box.

Ich habe meine Box in rosa, weiß und braun gestaltet und neben dem Herzchen-Papier von Magnolia noch einen Zaun und etwas weißes Gras hinzugefügt.
Das Motiv ist von Tiddly Ink und um das ganze passend für die Übergebende zu machen habe ich diesen kleinen Hund dazu gesetzt. Auf das Kleid habe ich kleine Blümchen gemalt.

I used pink, white and brown for my box and beside the Magnolia paper with the little hearts I used a fence and some white "grass" ass decoration.
The image is by Tiddly Ink and to make it match with the one who will give this box out I added that little dog. On the dress I painted little flowers.

Zum Verschließen der Box habe ich eine große weiße Schleife genommen, die ich dann mit einem Herz-Charm, einer Rose und einem Tag verziert habe. Auf dem Tag steht "Wie schön dass es Dich gibt", zusammen mit dem Rahmen ist der Stempel aus dem neuen Set "Deutsche Texte" von Whiff Of Joy.

To close the box I used a big white bow that I decorated with a heart charm, a rose and a tag. The tag is made using two stamps from Whiff Of Joy: the frame and the saying.

Today it's my turn to share a tutorial over at the Copic Marker Europe Blog. There are so many different techniques to pick but for today I went with how to color fur. Even there are different ways to do that and everyone is having his/her own technique(s).

Das war der perfekte Moment, um den süßen Sarah Kay Stempel Michel einzuweihen. Die letzten Sarah Kay Kollektionen fand ich ja nicht so toll, aber die neuste ist genau nach meinem Geschmack! Und nun habe ich ein Vintage Karte mit der kleinen Naschkatze gemacht. Das Bonbon-Embellishment lag hier schon ewig rum und hat nur auf diese Karte gewartet, ebenso der "sweetness" Sticker, den ich auf einen Pin gesetzt habe. Den Stern-Charm habe ich mit Copics eingefärbt, damit er zum Rest paßt.

This was the perfect theme to ink up Michel by Sarah Kay/Stampavie. The last Sarah Kay collections weren't for me but the newest is just too cute! And so I made this vintage card using this little cutie. The embellishments with the sweets has been laying around here for ages, just waiting for this one card. And so did the sticker saying sweetness, that I put on a pin. The star charm has been dyed with Copics to match the colors on my card.

Diesmal habe ich mich für

As every tuesday I am sharing a card with you using one of the cute Sugar Nellie stamps also today.
For this card I went with
Worried.

Ich liebe dieses Motiv und seine Ausstrahlung. Wie sich Bär und Junge aneinander klammern... Für die Karte habe ich mich für eine blau-weiß Kombi entschieden, zum Matten habe ich dunkles Grau verwendet. Das schafft etwas Kontrast.
Der Text "Ich bin da für Dich - egal was ist" ist von Stampin'Up und paßt hier einfach super.
Die Ränder der Papiere habe ich mal wieder mit Crackle Paint eingefärbt.

I love this image and its atmosphere. How boy and bear holding each other.... For this card I went with a blue and white combo, for the matting I went with a dark grey. This adds some contrast.
The saying "I'm here for you - no matter what" is by Stampin'Up and it's like made for just this image.
I used Crackle Paint on the edges of the papers.
