Beim Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch heute eine "Aufdrehkarte". Wie Ihr oben sehen könnt, ist sie geschlossen etwas wirr...

Hello eveyone!

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing a "turn open card" toay. As you can see on the picture it looks kind of weird when it's closed...

Aber wenn man sie öffnet, dann ist sie wirklich toll. Und mit einem Aufhänger versehen auch eine schöne Deko.

But if you turn it open she's really great. And if you add a tab to the top it'd also make a beautiful decoration for your home.

Auf dem untersten Kreis habe ich mal wieder eines der Sarah Kay Motive von Stampavie verwendet. Ich liebe die ja seit meiner Kindheit. Der Christbaum ist von Belles'n'Whistles, die Tapete mit Copics und einem spitzen Bleistift per Hand gemalt.

Hinter diesen Kreis habe ich das Doily von Magnolia gesetzt.

On the biggest circle I've used one of those Sarah Kay images by Stampavie - for the first time since a long time. I love her images since I was a kid. The christmas tree is by Belles'n'Whistles, the wallpaper is made using Copics and a pencil.

Behind this circle I've put the large doily by Magnolia.

Für den mittleren Kreis habe ich den Merry Christmas Circle Frame von MFT aus goldenem Spiegelkarton gestanzt. In die Mitte kam ein Stern sowie ein paar Glitzersteine.

For the middle circle I used the Merry Christmas Circle Frame by MFT, cut from golden mirror cardstock. In the middle I've put a star and a few rhinestones.

Auf dem kleinsten Kreis durfte die Deko dann auch etwas höher werden. Hier habe ich auf einen Kreis aus Wellpappe etwas Cheesecloth, goldene Flüge und eine Schleife gesetzt.

On the smallest circle the decorations can be a bit bulkier. So I put some cheesecloth, golden wings and a bow on a circle from brown corrugated paper.

Stamps & Fun = Creativity - Perlen & Spitze

Montag Morgen... und es gibt natürlich eine neue Challenge bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity. "Perlen und Spitze" ist unser neues Thema.

It's monday morning - and of course there is a new challenge over at Stamps&Fun=Creativity. Pearls and lace is the new theme we picked for you.

Ich habe eines der neuen Sarah Kay Motive verwendet: Susie Ponders. Sie ist auf kraftfarbenen Cardstock gestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und für das Kleid habe ich einen weißen Polychromo verwendet. Aus Perlen habe ich einen großen Schnörkel "gebastelt", Spitze in Form von Deckchen und Häkelspitze durfte nicht fehlen, dazu dann noch Crackle Paint und fertig ist die Vintage-Karte.

I used one of the new Sarah Kay images: Susie Ponders. I stamped her on kraft cardstock, colored her with Copics and used a white Polychromo/Prismacolor pencil for her dress. From pearls I made that big swirl, added lace and doilies and some Crackle Paint and the vintage card was done.

Cute Card Thursday - metallica

Wunderschönen Donnerstag!
Es gibt wieder eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday: metallica. Keine Angst, wenn Ihr nicht mögt, braucht Ihr keinen Hardrock hören - verwendet einfach etwas Metall oder metallisches auf Eurer Karte.

We at Cute Card Thursday have a new challenge up for you: metallica. Don't worry, you don't have to listen to hard rock if you don't want to - just use something metallic on your card.

Bei uns sind endlich die neuen Sarah Kay Stempel von Stamapvie eingetroffen - und darum habe ich einen davon gleich eingeweiht: Tea Please. Passend zum nostalgischen Look habe ich das Motiv in Grautönen coloriert - und um das Challenge-Thema einzubauen, habe ich den Text in ein Bookplate in Silber gesetzt, einen silbernen Teekannen-Charm mit auf die Karte geklebt und einige Stellen mit silbernem Embossingpulver überzogen. Außerdem habe ich noch eine silberne Buchecke oben rechts aufgebracht. Ihr seht, Metallica muß nicht hart sein! LOL

In my shop the new Sarah Kay stamps by Stampavie have finally arrived - and I just had to ink one of these cuties up: Tea Please. Matching the vintage look of these images I colored it in grey tones - and to include the challenge theme I put the saying in a silver bookplate, added a silver tea pot charm and covered a few areas with silver embossing powder. I also added a silver book corner to the upper right.

Ich habe hier mal wieder einen der Sarah Kay Stempel verwendet. Oh Mann, ich habe so viele schöne Weihnachtsstempel, jedes Jahr kommen welche hinzu - und die "alten" versauern. Ich habe die Karte bewußt Ton in Ton gehalten und nur etwas grün hinzugefügt. Der Text ist von Whiff Of Joy.

Hallo und schönen Montag Morgen! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity. Und diesmal haben wir das Thema Freunde ausgesucht. Schließlich braucht man keinen Grund, um einem Freund für seine Freundschaft zu danken.

Hello and happy monday morning! It´s time for another challenge over at Stamps&Fun=Creativity. This week we picked the theme of friendship since you don´t really need a reason to thank someone for his friendship.

Mir war nach dezenten Farben... Ich habe das Motiv auf kraftfarbenen Cardstock gestempelt und es nur stellenweise coloriert, dazu ein paar Highlights in weiß gesetzt. Ich finde, das verleiht dem Motiv einen besonderen Touch. Auf das fast schon obliatorische Distressen habe ich verzichtet um nicht vom zarten Motiv abzulenken.

"Blue Christmas", also eine Weihnachtskarte in Blau, ist das Thema bei Stamptacular Sunday.

"Blue Christmas" is the theme at Stamptacular Sunday and it means they want a christmas card using blue colors.

Damit paßt das Thema perfekt zum Thema bei Papertake Weekly (blue and green must not be seen) und Simon Says (Weihnachtskarte ohne rot und grün).

So their theme is matching perfectly with the one at Papertake Weekly (blue and green must not be seen) and Simon Says (christmas card without green and red).

Hallo und wunderschönen Mittwoch! Auch die heutige Karte ist mal wieder sehr vintage geworden... Ich hoffe, ich nerve damit nicht! ;O) Ich habe den aktuellen Sketch von Mojo Monday verwendet:

Hallo and happy wednesday! Also today´s card turned out very vintage... I hope I am not bothering you with this style! ;O) I used the sketch from Mojo Monday:

Bei Stampavie and more lautet das neue Thema "Herzen" - ich hoffe, auch ein Herz zählt. Ich habe zwar neben das Wort "friends" noch ein kleines in Blush Blossom - einem sehr hellen rosa - gestempelt, aber das ist leider kaum erkennbar.

At Stampavie and more the new theme is "hearts" - I hope even one heart counts. There is another one stamped next to the word "friends" using Blush Blossom but it turned out that light that it nearly can´t be seen.

Simon ist diesmal der Ansicht "you gotta have friends" und hat darum das Thema Freunde für die neue Challenge gewählt.

Simon means "you gotta have friends" and picked friendship as the new theme.

Und die Farbkombi kommt von Color Throwdown: chocolat chip (dunkelbraun), blush blossom (besagtes helles rosa/apricot) und mellow moss (ein grau-blau-grün).

Ich habe mal wieder eines der süßen Sarah Kay Motive von Stampavie verwendet. Die Papiere sind von My Mind´s Eye und K&Company. Die große Blüte habe ich mit dem Copic Airbrush System passend zu meiner Coloration eingefärbt, ebenso die Spitze. Der Herz-Knopf links oben ist mit einer Stanze von SU gemacht.

Sketch Saturday # 104 und Sir Stampalot May Challenge

Und bei Sir Stampalot heißt das Thema der Mai Challenge "blossoms and butterflies" - Blüten und Schmetterlinge.
Zuerst habe ich an "Zoe gazing at the butterfly" von Sarah Kay/Stampavie und dann ist mir noch das neue Mariposa-Papier von DCWV eingefallen. Der Stack ist voller Schmetterlinge und Blumen und sehr zart gezeichnet. Auch auf dem großen Papier im Hintergrund befinden sich Schmetterlinge, die ich aber leider überkleben mußte. Dafür flattert jetzt noch ein großes Exemplar über die Karte.
Der Bordürenstanzer unter dem Motiv ist von Martha Stewart, der Text von Stampin´Up.

And at Sir Stampalot the theme for may is "blossoms and butterflies".
First I thought of "Zoe gazing at the butterfly" by Sarah Kay/Stampavie and then the new Mariposa paper stack by DCWV came to my mind. It ist full of butterflies and flowers and drawn beautifully. Also on the big paper in the background there are butterflies all over but I had to cover it with the other papers. Instead a big one is fluttering over the card now.
The border punch is by Martha Stewart, saying by Stampin´Up.

Hanna and Friends # 44

Wunderschönen Donnerstag, Feiertag und - für den Fall daß sich der ein oder andere Mann hierher verirren sollte auch - Vatertag!
Dies ist meine zweite Woche als Gastdesigner für Hanna and Friends und diesmal gibt es diesen tollen Sketch von Manu:

This is my second week as a guest designer for Hanna and Friends and this week Manu created this wonderful sketch for you:


Tja, nun ist es soweit: die Freundinnen meiner Großen rufen bei mir an und fragen "nach der Karte aus dem Mai 2009 auf dem Blog Deiner Mom". So geschehen letzten Sonntag, als eine Freundin fragte, ob ich die Karte mit den süßen Affen noch habe. Nein, die war schon verschenkt, aber ich habe ihr versprochen eine neue mit den "Birthday Monkeys" von Stampavie für sie zu machen. Tja, und das ist nun dabei herausgekommen. Da ich nicht wußte, ob die Karte für eine Sie oder einen Er sein sollte, habe ich sie farblich mal neutral gehalten. Der Kreis mit dem Muffin darauf ist mit dem Paper Tagger befestigt, so daß er schön hin und her schaukelt.
Die Papiere sind alle von DCWV.

Last sunday my oldest daughter´s phone was ringing and a friend of her asked about "that card on your mom´s blog from may 2009". She wanted to know if I still have it... Sorry, no, I gave it away but I promised to make her a new one using the cute "Birthday Monkeys" by Stampavie because they were the reason why she picked that card. And here you can see the result. I didn´t know if she wanted that card for a male or a female so I kept it quite neutral in colors. The circle with the cupcake is fixed with the Paper Tagger so it is swinging from one side to the other.
All papers are DCWV.

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Wie Ihr vielleicht mitbekommen habt, darf ich diesen Monat Gastdesigner bei Stampavie and more sein. Und dies ist meine erste Karte dafür. Die Vorgabe für die Challenge ist dieser tolle Sketch:

Happy wednesday! As I might have told you before am I the lucky one that has been chosen as the guestdesigern of the month of may over at Stampavie and more. And this is my first card for them. We have a great sketch this week:

Das Motiv ist einer der Sarah Kay Stempel aus der neuesten Kollektion von Stampavie: Lynette collecting her vegetables. Um es gegen das recht farbenfrohe Papier besser ankommen zu können, habe ich eine Schicht Crystal Accents darüber gelegt. Die Papiere sind von Prima, der Text von Studio G, zusammengebastelt aus zwei verschiedenen Sprüchen.

The image is one of the Sarah Kay stamps from the latest collection from Stampavie: Lynette collecting her vegetables. Since the papers are quite bright I didn´t want the image to not be the focus point and so I added a layer of Crystal Accents over it. Papers are Prima, saying by Studio G, made from 2 different stamps.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar # 100 und Everybody Art # 87

Im März hatte mich eine Freundin gebeten, eine Geburtstagskarte zu einem 50. Geburtstag zu machen. Herausgekommen ist das hier - und die war so gut angekommen, daß sie sie nun gerne noch einmal hätte. Nun ja, ich kopiere ungern Karten, auch nicht meine eigenen. Daher habe ich zwar an den Motiven und dem Text sowie der Klappe festgehalten, die Karte sonst aber abgeändert. Sie ist nach diesem Sketch von Everybody Art entstanden:

In march a friend of mine asked me to make a birthday card for a 50th birthday - and this is what I came up with. And everybody who saw it liked it so much - so she wants me to make another one looking the same. Well, I don´t like CASEing cards, even not my own ones. So I used the same images, saying and the flap thing but changed the colors and design. I made it following this sketch from Everybody Art:



Außerdem heißt das Thema der 100. Challenge bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar - herzlichen Glückwunsch dazu! - "happy birthday". Und da paßt die Karte doch prima.

Bei Everybody Art lautet das neue Thema "Paper Patch". Im nachhinein bin ich mir nicht mehr so sicher, ob meine Karte hier gilt, aber immerhin habe ich verschiedene Papiere zusammengenäht, nur eben nicht im üblichen Patchwork-Stil.

At Everybody Art they have Paper Patch as their new theme. I am not that sure anymore if my card fits but I sewed together different papers - just not in the usual patchwork style.

Die Creative Card Crew hat für die neue Challenge das Thema Happy Birthday ausgesucht.

Auch bei Cupcake Craft haben wir eine neue Challenge für Euch - diesmal ausgesucht von Victoria. Und sie möchte gerne, daß wir unsere eigenen Blumen fertigen. Nun, ich habe auch ein paar fertig gekaufte dazu kombiniert und hoffe, das war okay!

Also at Cupcake Craft we have a new challenge for you - this week picked by Victoria. She wants us to make our own flowers. Well, I also used some shop bought ones and hope this is okay.

Bei den Daring Cardmakers ist es Zeit für eine neue Birthstone Challenge - und für April ist das der Diamant. Darum habe ich kleine klare Glitzersteine auf meiner Karte angebracht und außerdem unter das Motiv ein Oval aus Crystal Clear gelegt.

At Daring Cardmakers it´s time for another Birthstone Challenge - and for april it is the diamond. So I put some clear rhinstones on my card and also put a clear oval cut from Crystal Clear under the image.

Ich habe auf der Karte "Tilda with flowing hair" von Magnolia verwendet. Der Spruch auf der Innenseite ist aus dem Sentiments 1 Set von Stampavie. Das schöne beglitterte Papier ist aus dem Penny Lane Stack von My Mind´s Eye, die anderen Papiere sind Reste.

Das Motiv auf meiner Karte ist natürlich von Stampavie/Sarah Kay: "Isabelle with puppy Coco". Zum Colorieren habe ich Copics verwendet und ja - das grün ist bei mir etwas ins Oliv gerutscht... Der Spruch ist ebenfalls von Stampavie und kommt aus dem "Sentiments 1" Set.

Eine Freundin hat mich gebeten ihr eine Karte für einen 50. Geburtstag zu machen. Ich habe die Karte nach dem neuen Sketch von Stampavie and more gemacht:

A friend needed a birthday card for a 50th birthday. I followed this sketch by Stampavie and more:



Ich habe lange überlegt, was ich machen soll - es war ja mal wieder eine Männerkarte... Aber dann kam mir die Idee, vorne auf der Karte "Cooler Oakley" aus der City Girl Collection von Whiff Of Joy zu verwenden.

I´ve been thinking what to do - of course it was a male card again... But then I got the idea of using "Cool Oakley" from Whiff Of Joy´s City Girls Colletcion on the front of the card. The saying means "time flies by".

Ich habe auch eine kleine Klappe versteckt - und auf der Innenseite "Jack and Ginger" von Stampavie. Ich habe "sie" abgedeckt, die Blumen hinter seinem Rücken entfernt und ihm statt der Hand seiner Liebsten einen Stock gegeben.

I hided a little flap - and put "Jack and Ginger" by Stampavie on the inside. I only stamped "him", removed the ink from the flowers he holds on his back before stamping and gave him a stick in his hand.

Cute Card Thursday # 103, Charisma Cardz # 10 und Simon Says...Sketch

Hallo an all! Erstmal möchte ich gleich sagen, daß es von mir wohl wenig zu hören gibt die nächsten Tage. Unser Internet funktioniert mal wieder nicht - herzlichen Dank an 1&1! Montag kommt ein Techniker von der Telekom, aber ob der helfen kann? Momentan sind wir im WLAN unseres Nachbarn eingeloggt - natürlich mit seiner Genehmigung. Da aber sein Haus recht weit weg steht ist die Verbindung so langsam, daß es mich eine geschlagene Stunde gedauert hat, eine Seite zu laden.... Trotzdem versuche ich jetzt, zumindest diesen Blogpost zu machen.

Happy saturday! I want you to know that you won´t be able to read much new things here on my blog for the next few days. Our internet is down once again - a big thank you to 1&1! Monday morning a technic man will come but I am not sure if he´ll be able to help. At the moment we are logged in our neighbour´s WLAN - with his permission of course. But his house is quite far away and the connection is very slow. It took me over 1 hour to open a site.... But I am trying to post tough.

Außerdem habe ich das neue Thema von Charisma Cardz eingebaut: Butterflies. Der Stempel heißt "Zoe gazing at the butterfly" und ist einer der brandneuen Sarah Kay Stempel von Stampavie. Und ich habe noch einen ausgestanzten Schmetterling auf das Bild gesetzt.

Und bei Cute Card Thursday lautet das neue Thema "celebrations". Der Spruch "celebrate spring" war so perfect zu diesem Image - und warum muß es denn immer einen besonderen Anlaß zum feiern geben?

Stempeleinmaleins - Woche 15

So zuverlässig, wie der Frühling kommt, gibt es auch jeden Samstag eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins. Und da es der letzte Samstag im Februar ist, heißt das, es ist Zeit für unsere zweite Challenge. Diesmal mit diesem tollen Sketch von Tanja:

As sure as spring is coming closer as sure we also have a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins each saturday. And since it is the last saturday of the month it´s time for our challenge # 2. This time we have this great sketch by Tanja:


Das Motiv ist von Sarah Kay bzw. der Stempel davon natürlich von Stampavie. Und diese Motive schreien geradezu nach Vintage. Ich habe auf dieser Karte lauter Sachen ausprobiert, die ich noch nie gemacht habe: die Blumen aus Kreisen und Spitze, Acrylfarbe an den Rändern und einen Streifen Karton... Ich finde, es macht sich echt gut!
Damit paßt die Karte super zu Crafty Ann´s Challenge, bei der etwas neues ausprobiert bzw. eine Technik verwendet werden soll, die man nicht so oft verwendet hat wie man gerne hätte.

The image is by Sarah Kay and the stamp of course by Stampavie. And these images are begging for vintage looking cards. I tried a lot of things I never tried before: flowers from circles and lace, acrylic paint on the edges and some cardboard from an old post box... I really love all ofthem!
With all these new things on it, this card matches the challenge over at Crafty Ann´s Challenge where we are asked to try something new or something you didn´t use as often as you would have liked to.

Diese Woche machen wir es Euch leicht bei Cupcake Craft - denn das Thema lautet "keep it simple". Wir hätten gerne "einfache" Karten, also ohne viele Lagen und Embellishments. Naja, so ganz kann ich dann doch nicht aus meiner Haut...LOL

Das süße Igel-Motiv, das ich verwendet habe, ist eines der ganz neuen von Stampavie - es wird sie wohl erst im März zu kaufen geben. Mein Stempel ist noch etwas ganz besonderes, denn JayJay hat in mir von der CHA in Amerika mitgebracht. Er ist also schon weit gereist!
Die Papiere sind von DCWV, coloriert habe ich mit Copics, der Spruch ist von Studio G, die Ticket-Stanze ist von Stampin´Up und die Schmetterling-Stanze von Joy Crafts.

That cute hedgehog image is one of the brand new images by Stampavie - those will not be available before march. My stamp is something extra special because JayJay brought it from CHA in America. So it arrived at my house after a long journey!
Papers are by DCWV, I used Copics for coloring, the saying is by Studio G, the ticket punch is by Stampin´Up and the butterfly is made with a die by Joy Crafts.
