Hallo und nochmal einen schönen Donnerstag.

Wegen des Whiff Of Joy Blog Hops etwas verspätet, möchte ich Euch dennoch meine Karte für unsere neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday zeigen. Dort lautet unser neues Thema "Ostern".

Due to the Whiff Of Joy blog hop I am starting this post a little late, but of course I want to share with you my card for the new challenge bei Cute Card Thursday. Our new theme there is "easter". 

Mir war mal wieder nach etwas monochromen, da ich in letzter Zeit ja doch eher farbenfroh gebastelt habe. Ich habe daher diese süße Motiv von SCACD benutzt und es ganz in Brauntönen coloriert. Dazu etwas Creme kombiniert und schon ist eine Karte im Vintage-Stil fertig. Der Text ist von Stampin' Up.

I wanted to do a monochrome card again since I have been using quite bright colors lately. So I picked this cute image by SCACD and used brown tones only to color it. Combined with some cream a vintage style card is made quickly. The sentiment is by Stampin' Up.

Cute Card Thursday - birthday

Einen besonders schönen Donnerstag Morgen! Die Sonne scheint, die Vögel zwitschern - kann der Tag besser beginnen?
Kann er, denn es gibt eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday. Und es ist gleichzeitig der 4. Geburtstag des Challengeblogs. Und darum lautet unser Thema diese Woche auch "birthday".

A very happy thursday morning! The sun is shining, birds are singing - is there a better way to start theday?
Well, yes there is because we at Cute Card Thursday have a new challenge up for you. And it's also the 4th birthday of the challenge blog so our new theme is "birthday".

Beim Suchen nach dem passenden Motiv bin ich über dieses Digi von Mo Manning gestolpert und habe mich sofort verliebt. Beim Colorieren habe ich dann nach Lila gegriffen, einer Farbe, die ich ja nur äußerst selten verwende. Aber die Kombi hier gefällt mir prima. Passend zum Thema habe ich die Karte mit einer Girlande und einem Luftballon dekoriert. Den habe ich 3dimensional gestaltet, indem ich einfach 3 Luftballons in der Mitte gefaltet und nur dort aufeinander geklebt habe. Die Schnur ist mit der Nähmaschine gemacht. Zum Schluss fehlte mir dann noch der passende Text und nach einigem Suchen fiel mir der Stempel von Stampin'Up in die Hände. "Heute ist nicht der richtigte Tag für 'nur ein kleines Stückchen'" - wenn das nicht zum Motiv paßt. LOL

While looking for an image I came across this digi by Mo Manning and fell in love with it immediately. When doing the coloring I went with purple - a color I just use like only twice a year. But this combo was really fun to do. Matching the theme I went with a banner and a balloon as decoration. The balloon is 3dimensional. I cut 3 of them, fold them in the middle and only put glue on the fold. The string was made with my sewing machine. At the end I was only missing the right text. After some looking through my stash I found this stamp by Stampin' Up. "This is no day for 'just a sliver'" - isn't that the perfect one for that image? LOL

Donnerstag bedeutet wie jede Woche eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday und diesmal haben wir das Thema "Musik und Tanz" für Euch gewählt.

Hello dear friends and welcome on my blog this thursday.

Thursday always means a new challenge at Cute Card Thursday and this week out theme is "music and dance". 

Zuerst habe ich lange überlegt, ob ich dafür ein passendes Motiv habe - und dann fiel mir dieser Kenny K Stempel von Whimsy Stamps wieder ein. Okay, er gehört Natascha und ich habe ihn mir ausgeliehen... Gut, wenn die Töchter selbst Stempel haben!

Bei dem Motiv konnte ich natürlich nicht meine üblichen Farbkombis verwenden - das sollte rocken! Und somit habe ich kräftiges Pink und Schwarz kombiniert. Die Papierauswahl fiel da etwas schwer (danke an Pia, meine zweite Tochter, bei der ich mir dann zwei Bögen Papier geklaut habe....) und auch auf Blümchen habe ich bewußt verzichtet. Aber ich bin mit dem Ergebnis doch sehr zufrieden.

I have been thinking a while which image to use and then this one by Kenny K/Whimsy Stamps came to my mind. Okay, it's Natascha's and I borrowed it... Isn't it great when your kids have their own stamps?!

Of course I wasn't able to use my usual color combos for that image - I wanted it to rock! And so I decided to go with a dark pink and black. Finding the perfect papers wasn't easy too (and a big thank you to Pia, my other daughter, that I took two sheets of rock paper from....) and I also didn't use any flowers. 

But I really like how this one turned out.

Es ist Zeit für die allererste Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins im Jahr 2012. Und wir starten mit einer Anleitung für Schüttelkarten.

It's time for the very first issue of Stempeleinmaleins in 2012. And we start with a tutorial for how to make a shaker card.

Ich habe den Schneemann von Magnolia verwendet, nur den Stern auf dem Kopf mußte ich ihm nehmen, sonst hätte er nicht in den Rahmen gepaßt. "Gefüllt" ist der Schüttelteil mit kleinen Glaskügelchen und etwas groberem Glitter.

I used the snowman by Magnolia but had to remove the star he usually has on his head or he would not have fit in the frame. To fill the shaker part I used little glass beads and not too fine glitter.

Also at Belles'n'Whistles we have  a new challenge starting today. The theme for the next two weeks is "christmas".

Natürlich mußte ich eines der neuen Weihnachtsmotive verwenden: Little Light. Es lädt geradezu dazu ein, eine Karte im Vintage-Look zu machen. Und so ist hier mal wieder alles versammelt, was dazu paßt: Spitze, Brauntöne, Blumen, Schnörkel...
Die tollen Papiere sind von Papercraft Scandinavia - und ein Traum!
Schnörkel, Blätter und Zweig sind mit einem neuen (zumindest für mich) Die von Sizzix gestanzt.

Of course I had to use one of the new christmas images here: Little Light. It's perfect for those vintage style cards. And so I put everything on this card that's typically vintage: lace, browns, flowers, swirls...
The great papers are by Papercraft Scandinavia - and I so love these!
Flourishes, twigs and leaves are made using a new die by Sizzix (at least it was new to me).

Hello dear all! A new challenge at Stamps&Fun=Creativity is starting today and our theme of this week is Halloween.

Ich habe einen Reagenzglas-Halter gemacht, der auch gleich Prototyp für die Einladungen für die Halloweenparty meiner Mädels war. Die sind inzwischen auch fast fertig, allerdings mit nur einem Reagenzglas und anders dekoriert... :)

I made a test tube holder, and it was also a test drive for the halloween party invitations for my girls. These are nearly finished by now as well, holding only one test tube and decorated differently... :)

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Eine neue Challenge startet heute bei Cute Card Thursday - und unser Thema lautet "clean and simple". Auch wenn simple im Namen steckt, ich tue mich damit meist sehr schwer. Diesmal habe ich gleich statt zu den üblichen Motiven zu den Stempeln von Stampin'Up gegriffen und diese Karte war in wenigen Minuten fertig. Ob ich damit 100 % glücklich bin ist dann was anderes... ;o)

Hallo nochmal - hier bin ich schon wieder. Denn heute startet auch eine neue Challenge bei Belles´n´Whistles. "Flowers and pearls" lautet unser Thema dort...

Hello - hier I am back again. Because we have a new challenge starting also at Belles´n´Whistles. "Flowers and pearls" is the theme we picked for you...

Ich habe Lilypad Dreams verwendet. Für mich sieht die kleine Fee aus, als wäre sie im Mondschein auf dem Seerosenblatt eingeschlafen. Ich habe versucht, sie auf dunklen Cardstock zu stempeln, aber das sah dann doch zu komisch aus. Darum habe ich weißen Cardstock verwendet und anstatt die Süße zu colorieren habe ich ein wenig Braun mit dem Spritzer-Tool darüber verteilt ud nur die Flügel beglittert.

I used Lilypad Dreams here. To me it looks like this little cutie fell asleep in the moonlight. I tried stamping her on dark cardstock but it looked quite strange. So I used some white cardstock and instead of coloring her I used my Spritzer Tool to sparkle some brown color on her and only put some glitter on her wings.

Bei Simon Says soll es diesmal glänzen und glimmern - darum habe ich Glossy Accents auf dem Herz und den Zahlen verteilt, das grüne Papier ist beglittert, ich habe ein paar Stickles-Punkte gesetzt und außerdem über der Karte selbstgemachten Glimmer-Mist (Brilliance Refill plus Wasser) verteilt. Ich habe das Bild der Karte extra im Sonnenlicht gemacht, so kann man es funkeln sehen....

At Simon Says they want our cards to shine and sparkle this week - so I put Glossy Accents on the heart and the numbers, the green paper is glittered, I added a few dots from Stickles and put some selfmade glimmer mist (Brilliance refill plus water) over the card. I took the photo of the card in the sunlight so you are able to see it shimmering...

I am proud to present you

Oh La La!

In dem Moment, in dem ich das Motiv das erste Mal gesehen habe, mußte ich sofort an eine kleine Französin denken - wegen der Mütze und dem Style... Darum kam mir die Idee, das Thema auch auf meiner Karte zu übernehmen. Ich habe eine Skyline und die Silouette des Eifeltrums ausgeschnitten. Und paßend dazu hatte ich noch den Paperstack Paris Nights zu Hause, der einfach perfekt ins Konzept paßte. Und der Text ist mit dem Computer selbst gemacht - inspiriert von einem älteren Stempel von Stampin´Up, den ich leider nicht habe.

From the moment I saw this image the first time I had the idea of her being a little french girl - because of the hat and her style.... So I decided to pick up this theme for my card. I cut a city skyline and the silhouette of the eifel tower. I also had the paper stack Paris Nights at home that so totally fit this theme. The saying is computer generated, inspired by an older stamp from Stampin´Up that I unfortunately don´t have.

Ich habe sie in creme und schwarz gehalten und nur mit den Rosen und Herzen ein paar rote Akzente gesetzt. Und könnt Ihr sehen, wie "Paris" und "Champs Elysee" auf den Papieren oben auftaucht?

I made it cream and black and just added a few red accents with the roses and hearts. And can you see that there is written "Paris " and "Champs Elysee" on those papers on top several times?

Happy Friday! Heute bringen wir mal etwas Farbe in den grauen Tag... Und da kommt die Farbkombi von Color Throwdown gerade recht: hellgrün, dunkelgrün und blau.

Happy friday! Today I wanted to bring some color into the grey outside... And so the colors by Color Throwdown come in really handy: light green, blue, dark green.

Na, stehen sie der süßen kleinen Hexe nicht ausgezeichnet? Best Witches ist nicht nur der Text, den ich dazu verwendet habe - nein, es ist auch der Name des Stempels aus der Simply Sassy Reihe von Sugar Nellie. Ich habe rund um das Motiv und auf die Ränder einiger Papiere limettengrünes Stickles aufgetragen - darum paßt meine Karte auch zur Challenge bei Papertake Weekly: "Glitzer drauf".

I´ve put some lime green Stickles around the image and to the edges of some papers - so my card also fits into the challenge over at Papertake Weekly: putting on the glitz.

Magischen Donnerstag Euch allen! Ja, irgendwie liegt Frühling in der Luft. Zwar nicht wirklich - im Gegenteil, es schneit schon wieder - aber zumindest farblich. Schuld daran sind die Challenges bei Truly Scrumptious und dem Color Throwdown mit den Farbvorgaben braun, pink und grün (bzw. wie beim Color Throwdown in Stampin´Up Farben ausgedrückt: Pear Pizzazz, Kraft und Blushing Bride).

Magical thursday to all of you. Spring is in the air. Well, not really - it´s even snowing here again - but at least its colors. And I can blame it all to the challenges over at Truly Scrumptious and the Color Throwdown because they have picked the colors of pink, brown and green (or like the Color Throwdown says in Stampin´Up colors: Pear Pizzazz, Kraft and Blushing Bride) for their challenges.

M steht bei der ABC Challenge diesmal für "Magie".

M is for magic at this week´s challenge over at ABC Challenge.

Bei Simon Says Stamp wird Bingo gespielt - es gibt eine "Spielkarte" und dort soll wie beim Bingo eine 3-Kombination aus einer Reihe, also horizontal, vertikal oder auch diagonal, verwendet werden. Ich habe mich für die erste Reihe bestehend aus Brads, Spitze und Glitzersteinen entschieden. Und da beim echten Bingo ja auch nicht jeder immer nur die drei Steine in einer Reihe liegen hat, habe ich noch Blumen und Die Cuts dazu genommen.

At Simon Says Stamp they are playing Bingo - they have a Bingo card up on their blog and you have to choose 3 items in a row - vertically, horizontally or diagonal - to use on your card. A great idea! I went with the first row horizontally with brads, lace and gems. And since you never have only those 3 stones when playing real bingo I also added flowers and die cuts.

Belles´n´Whistles Challenge "anything but winter"

Na, seid Ihr den Winter auch alle leid? Uns bei Belles´n´Whistles geht es nicht anders. Darum lautet das Thema für die nächsten zwei Wochen auch "anything but winter" - alles außer Winter.
Wie wäre es dann mit Sonnenschein, Wärme, zwitschernden Vögeln und blühenden Blumen - also Sommer? Auf jeden Fall hat er mich zu der Karte inspiriert.

Are you as sick of winter as I am? Well, it´s not only me but our whole Belles´n´Whistles group. And so our theme for the next two weeks is "anything but winter". So, how about sunshine, warm weather, singing birds and blooming flowers - how about summer? Thinking of it inspired me to make this card.

"Bronzing Beauty" ist der Name dieses süßen Stempels. Und offenbar ist sie schon eine Zeit in der Sonne gewesen, denn ich habe ihr einen Touch gesunde Bräune verpaßt.

Ich habe mich für Pastelltöne und die süße "Lilac Tilda" entschieden. Die Blumen habe ich mit Copics und dem Airbrush passend zu meinen Farben eingefärbt.

I went with pastell colors and that cute "Lilac Tilda". I used Copics and the airbrush system to color my flowers matching with the image and papers.

Simon Says...Movies, Whiff Of Joy # 75, Papertake Weekly und Truly Scrumptious # 30

Natürlich habe ich auch heute eine Karte, die ich Euch zeigen möchte. Sie ist nach diesem Sketch von Truly Scrumptious entstanden, den ich um 180° gedreht habe:

Bei Whiff Of Joy gibt es die Farbvorgabe gelb, grün und eine weitere Farbe. Oops, war mein erster Gedanke - eigentlich ja gar nicht meine Farben. Aber wenn man das Hirn ein wenig benutzt... Ich habe grau-braun dazu kombiniert.

At Whiff Of Joy they have the color combo of green, yellow and one additional color. Oops, that´s what I thought, totally out of my comfort zone. But after putting the thinking cap on I came up with a greyish brown as the 3rd color.

Simon Says.... hat diesmal das Thema Movies, also Filme. Wie das interpretiert wird, ist jedem selbst überlassen. Kann man erkennen, daß ich "Aschenputtel" auf meiner Karte zeigen möchte?

Das Motiv ist aus der Party Girls Kollektion von Whiff Of Joy, der Schuh-Stempel ist von Stampin´Up. Dazu habe ich dann ein paar goldene Brads und ein goldenes Kronen-Charm mit der Aufschrift Princess verwendet.
