Hallo und schönen Mittwoch-Morgen! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy - und diese Woche haben wir einen Skech für Euch.

Hello and happy wednesday morning! It´s time for a new challenge over at Whiff Of Joy - and we have this sketch for you follow this week.


Die Lehrerin meiner Großen wechselt die Schule und die Klasse hat mich gebeten, eine Karte für sie zu machen. Darum habe ich neben dem tollen Schulmädchen-Stempel auch viele weiter Dinge zum Thema Schule auf der Karte verwendet: eine Büroklammer, Buchstabenstempel um das Motiv herum, Tackernadeln, Buch-Charm - und der Text von WoJ. Ich bin sicher, sie kommt gut an!

The class of my oldest asked me to make a card since their teacher is leaving school end of august. So beside this cute girl stamp I added a bunch of other stuff that's matching the theme: a paper clip, letters around the image, staples, a book charm - and the saying by WoJ. I am sure their teacher will like it.

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Es ist Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins - diesmal mit Gastdesigner Bine und Ihrer tollen Sommerlaterne.

Hello friends! It´s time for another issue of Stempeleinmaleins - and this week we have Bine as our guestdesigner, showing how to make this cute summer lantern.

Ich habe bei meiner Laterne den Fehler gemacht, nur ein Fenster einzuarbeiten. Dachte, das wäre eine gute Idee, da ich sie hauptsächlich innen verwenden werde und man dann die Wand im Hintergrund nicht durchsieht. Aber irgendwie wirkt sie nun überhaupt nicht mehr. Also werde ich sicher eine neue machen! Das Fenster habe ich mit dem Dream Tag von Magnolia geschnitten, die Folie mit dem Texture Embossing Folder von Cuttlebug embosst. Die kleine Tilda mit der Blume im Haar erschien mir perfekt für das Thema Sommer. Sie sitzt auf dem Branch, auch die Vögel sind von Magnolia und die Wolke ist eines der brandneuen Dies.

I thought it would be great to only make one window into the lantern since I plan to use it inside most of the times and so you won´t be able to see the background/wall through the other ones. But now I am not that sure anymore - it looks kind of strange. So I´m going to make another one for sure! The window was cut using the dream tag by Magnolia, the window panel was embossed using the Texture embossing folder by Cuttlebug. The little Tilda with the flower in her hair was perfect to go with the summer theme and the cloud is one of the very brand new Magnolia dies.

Hallo und schönen Samstag! Es ist wieder Stempeleinmaleins-Zeit und die Anleitung heute ist für diese Wiper Card. Der deutsche Name ist wohl Scheibenwischerkarte... Auf den ersten Blick ist es eine normale Karte, aber wenn man an den Seiten zieht... tada:

Oben klappt ein kleines Fähnchen aus der Karte, auf das ein Spruch, etwas Deko etc. angebracht werden kann.

At the top a little banner shows up where you can put on a sentiment, an embellishment etc.

Ich habe das süße Hänglar-Mädchen benutzt und den Text direkt auf das Herz gestempelt. Die Papiere sind von Magnolia und DCWV.

I used this cute little Hänglar girl and put the saying on the heart she´s holding up. Papers are by Magnolia and DCWV.

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Heute habe ich mal ganz meine Vintage-Ader ausgelebt und enstanden dabei ist dieser Tag mit Genesungs-Wünschen....

Hello dear ones! Today I went totally vintage and made this tag as a get well card...

Die kleine Feen-Tilda habe ich auf den Dream Tag gestempelt und farblich habe ich fast ausschließlich mit Brauntönen gearbeitet. Auf den Rosen und dem Zauberstab habe ich Stickles aufgebracht und der ganze Tag ist mit Glimmer Mist überzogen.

I stamps this mini fairy Tildy on the Dream Tag and mainly went with different shades of brown. I put Stickles on the roses and the wand and the whole tag is covered with Glimmer Mist.

Hallo Ihr Lieben und schönen Mittwoch! Heute startet wieder eine neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy, mit diesem Sketch als Inspiration:

Hello over there and happy wednesday! We have a new challenge up for you over at Whiff Of Joy - and this is the sketch we created for you:


Passend zur aktuellen Wetterlage habe ich diese Süße in Regenkleidung coloriert. Und damit die Karte nicht zu trist wirkt, habe ich wieder den Regenbogen von Magnolia dazu kombiniert. Und dazu paßte dann perfekt der Text "thanks for being my rainbow on a cloudy sky". Ich habe ihn auf einen Tag gestempelt und ihn mit weißem Pulver embossed. Der Tag und die anderen Papiere - bis auf das mit den Regentropfen - sind von Whiff Of Joy. Hier noch ein Foto mit sichtbarem Tag:

Matching the weather we had the last days I colored up this cutie in her rain coat. And to make my card not too sad I added that rainbow by Magnolia again. "Thanks for being my rainbow on a cloudy sky" was the perfect saying to use then. I stamped it on a brown tag and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. The tag and the papers - all but the one with the raindrops - are by Whiff Of Joy. Here´s another pic where you can see the tag:

Zum Colorieren habe ich diesmal keine Copics, sondern Twinkling H2O verwendet. Meine Mädels hatten in Stuttgart einen Workshop bei Katharina mitgemacht und seitdem hatten es mir die Farben angetan. Eine große Shoppingtour und 120 Farben später können jetzt auch wir aus dem vollen schöpfen. Ich muß nur noch herausfinden, welche Farbe mit welcher am besten geht.

I didnt´use my Copics for the coloring this time but Twinkling H2O. When we went to that fair at Stuttgart my girls did a coloring workshop with Katharina and since then we were hooked. So after some shopping and 120 colors also we can use these. I only need to find out which combinations work best.

Hallo und schönen Samstag Ihr Lieben! Es ist wieder Zeit für das Stempeleinmaleins. Der Sommer ist da (naja, die letzten Tage wohl auf Urlaub aber irgendwo hier muß er sein) und Sommerzeit ist Eiszeit! Und darum gibt es heute Eis am Stiel. In meinem Fall Vanille mit Schokoladenüberzug.

Hello and happy saturday! It´s time for the weekly issue of Stempeleinmaleins. Summer is here (okay, seems like he took some days off this last week but he must be here somewhere) and summer time means time for icecream! So today we have popsicles for everyone. For me it´s vanilla with chocolat covering.

Luv a Latte ist der Stempel, den ich hier verwendet habe. Um das Motiv der Karte anzupassen habe ich den Kaffeebecher durch eine leckere Tüte Eis von Whiff Of Joy ersetzt.

Luv a Latte is the name of this stamp. To make it match the card I replaced the cup of coffee with a yummy icecream cone by Whiff Of Joy.

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Heute habe ich eine Hochzeitskarte zu zeigen - die Freundin meiner Tochter hatte darum gebeten. Da ich das süße Paar von Lili of the Valley jetzt schon so oft verwendet habe, wollte ich mal wieder eine andere Hochzeitskarte fertigen und habe darum auf das Paar von Magnolia zurückgegriffen... Und auch farblich bin ich von rot-weiß-schwarz etwas mehr in die natürliche Ecke gerutscht...

Since I used that cute couple by Lili of the Valley quite often during the last weeks I wanted to make something different today and remembered that couple by Magnolia.... Am Montag hatte meine Mutter Geburtstag - und das ist ihre Karte. Wir sehen uns erst in eineinhalb Wochen, deshalb habe ich die Karte erst heute morgen gemacht.

Bei Simon Says soll es diesmal glänzen und glimmern - darum habe ich Glossy Accents auf dem Herz und den Zahlen verteilt, das grüne Papier ist beglittert, ich habe ein paar Stickles-Punkte gesetzt und außerdem über der Karte selbstgemachten Glimmer-Mist (Brilliance Refill plus Wasser) verteilt. Ich habe das Bild der Karte extra im Sonnenlicht gemacht, so kann man es funkeln sehen....

At Simon Says they want our cards to shine and sparkle this week - so I put Glossy Accents on the heart and the numbers, the green paper is glittered, I added a few dots from Stickles and put some selfmade glimmer mist (Brilliance refill plus water) over the card. I took the photo of the card in the sunlight so you are able to see it shimmering...

Hallo und schönen Sonntag Morgen! Wie immer startet auch heute eine neue Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under - und das Thema diesmal ist "Lieblingsdinge". Ihr könnt also aus dem Vollen schöpfen und all das verwenden, ohne das eine Karte für Euch nicht sein darf.

Hello and happy sunday morgen! As usual we at Magnolia Down Under have a new challenge for you - and our theme this week is "favourite things". So go ahead and use all that stuff that you think you can´t live or craft without.

Ich kann einfach nicht ohne Spitze, ohne Lagen, ohne Blumen und Band - noch ein wenig Glitzer und Distress Crackle Paint obendrauf und die Die Cuts nicht vergessen! Das ganze dann in gedeckten Farben und natürlich mit einem süßen Magnolia-Motiv... Die Karte war fast in null komma nix fertig!

I just can´t craft without lace, layer, without flowers and ribbon - add a little bling and Distress Crackle Paint and don´t forget the die cuts! Keep all this in muted colors and of course use one of the cute Tilda images.... The card was nearly done within nothing!

Simply Sassy Tutorial - Überraschungsei-Verpackung

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Heute ist Donnerstag und wie jeden Donnerstag haben wir auf dem Simply Sassy Blog ein Tutorial für Euch - und ich bin an der Reihe. Ostern steht vor der Tür und ich habe mir überlegt, was man passend dazu zeigen könnte. Noch dazu, wo Bad Hare Day doch der perfekte Stempel für die Osterzeit ist!

Hello stamping friends! It´s thursday and as usual we at Simply Sassy blog have a tutorial to share with you - this week is my turn. Easter is coming closer and so I´ve been thinking about something to match this time of year. The more since Bad Hare Day is the perfect stime for this holiday!

Meine Mädels bettelten im Supermarkt mal wieder um ein Überraschungs-Ei - und da fiel mir die Verpackung ein, in der es die Eier um die Weihnachtszeit zu kaufen gab. Es waren 6 Eier in einer Packung, schön nebeneinander und mit perforierten Linien zum trennen. Die Rückseite war etwas höher, so daß man einen Namen daraufschreiben und sie als Tischkarten benutzen konnte. Und alles war irgendwie komplizierter aufgebaut - aber die Idee einer Verpackung, aus der das Ei nicht herausfallen kann und trotzdem gesehen wird ließ mich nicht mehr los. Und das ist dann aus dieser Idee entstanden. Natürlich kann das Überraschungsei problemlos gegen ein anderes Ei ungefähr dieser Größe ausgetauscht werden - ich denke da z. B. an die Hello Kitty oder Spongebob Eier aus Plastik... Die kann man auch prima mit etwas anderem füllen.

My girls were begging for an Kinder surprise egg when we were grocery shopping last week - and then I remembered that special packing they came in around christmas time. There were 6 eggs in a row with perforated lines between them so they could easily be seperated. The back was a little higher so you were able to write a name there and use them as place cards. And the whole thing was way more complicated than what I did - but the idea of making a surprise egg wrapping where the egg can´t fall out but can be seen was born. And this is what I came up with. Of course you can replace the Kinder egg easily with any other egg approx. this size.
