Es gibt eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday. Diese Woche haben wir einen Sketch für Euch:

There's a new challenge at Cute Card Thursday. And this week we have come up with a sketch for you:

Nun, das Schuljahr neigt sich dem Ende entgegen und es heißt, von so manchem Lehrer Abschied zu nehmen. Meine Große hat Ihre Ausbildung zur Kinderpflegerin beendet und bevor es jetzt weiter auf die Fachakademie für Erzieherinnen geht, muss auch sie sich von Lehrern und den Erzieherinnen und Kindern in "ihrem" Kindergarten verabschieden. Und dies ist eine der Karten, die ich dafür gemacht habe.

Das Motiv ist von Hänglar und ich habe es mit Distress Markern coloriert. Meine eigenen sind leider immer noch nicht eingetroffen (ich hoffe, sie sind nicht auf dem Weg aus den USA verloren gegangen, denn immerhin sind sie schon 2 Monate unterwegs), aber ich durfte nochmal die Marker der lieben Helga benutzen. 

School year is nearly over here in our part of Germany and so it's time to say goodbye to some teachers. This is a card I made for my oldest's teacher.

The image is by Hanglar and I colored it with Distress Markers. I am still waiting for my own ones (hope they didn't lost during their way from the States because they are on their way since 2 months now) but I was able to use my friends' ones again.

"Punch Drunk" heißt es diese Woche bei Cute Card Thursday - keine Angst, Ihr müßt Euch nicht betrinken. Stattdessen möchten wir etwas gestanztes auf Euren Karten sehen.

"Punch drunk" is our new theme over at Cute Card Thursday - don't worry, you don't have to get drunk for this. Just use something punched.

Seit langer Zeit habe ich mal wieder ein Motiv von Hanglar verwendet. Das Matrosenmädchen paßt aber auch wunderbar zum Sommer. Ganz traditionell habe ich sie in blau und weiß coloriert und auch den Rest der Karte so gehalten.
Für den Kompass habe ich einen Stempel von Stampin Up verwendet, einen ausgestanzten Ring darüber gelegt und das ganze mit Glossy Accents aufgefüllt. Und auch die Anker-Stanze ist mal wieder zum Einsatz gekommen.

I used on of my Hanglar images on this one, haven't used them in ages. But this sailor girl is perfect for summer time. I went with the traditionell blue and white to color her in and also went on with these colors for the rest of my card.
For the compass I used a stamp by Stampin'Up, added a punched ring over it and filled the inner part with Glossy Accents. And I also used my ancor punch here again.

Hallo und schönen Samstag! Es ist wieder Stempeleinmaleins-Zeit und die Anleitung heute ist für diese Wiper Card. Der deutsche Name ist wohl Scheibenwischerkarte... Auf den ersten Blick ist es eine normale Karte, aber wenn man an den Seiten zieht... tada:

Hello and happy saturday! It´s time for another issue of Stempeleinmaleins and today´s tutorial is about this wiper card. At first look it seems to be a normal card but if you pull on the side... tada:


Oben klappt ein kleines Fähnchen aus der Karte, auf das ein Spruch, etwas Deko etc. angebracht werden kann.

At the top a little banner shows up where you can put on a sentiment, an embellishment etc.

Ich habe das süße Hänglar-Mädchen benutzt und den Text direkt auf das Herz gestempelt. Die Papiere sind von Magnolia und DCWV.

I used this cute little Hänglar girl and put the saying on the heart she´s holding up. Papers are by Magnolia and DCWV.

Kommunion die x-te

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Dies ist die gefühlt 100. Kommunionkarte die ich in den letzten Tagen gemacht habe, und die meisten waren auch noch für Jungs. Oh je, langsam gehen mir die Ideen aus. Da aber die Chance besteht, daß das selbe Kind mehrere Karten aus meiner "Werkstatt" bekommt sollen sie alle unterschiedlich sein. Und darum habe ich diesmal zu diesem Hänglar-Motiv gegriffen... Und im Hintergrund habe ich den süßen Rainbow and Clouds Stempel aus der neuen Magnolia Kollektion verwendet. Zuerst war ich mir nicht sicher, ob ich den je verwenden würde, aber ich habe ihn jetzt schon auf 2 Kommunionkarten benutzt....

Hello dear friends! It feels like this is the 100th kommunion card I made during the last days - and most of them were for boys. Well, I am getting short of ideas. But since there is a chance that one kid gets more than one card from my desk I want all of them be different. And so I picked this Hanglar image today... In the background I used the Rainbow and Clouds stamp from the new collection by Magnolia. I wasn´t sure if I´d ever use it but now I already used it on 2 communion cards....

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 30. April 2011

Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins - und weil es der letzte Samstag im Monat ist, ist wieder Challenge-Zeit. Der tolle Sketch stammt aus der Feder von Susanne:

Die aufgemalte Girlande hat mich total inspiriert - und ich fand, die Fähnchen passen prima zu den neuen Matrosen-Mädels von Hänglar.

The garland that´s included in the sketch really inspired me - and it matches so wonderfully with the new sailor images by Hänglar.

Metall und Spitze soll bei der Challenge von Timbroscrapmania verwendet werden.

At Timbroscrapmania they want us to use metal and lace.

Lovely Hänglar Only möchte, dass wir unseren Lieblingsstempel benutzen. Oh, diese Auswahl. Aber ich liebe Matrosenkleidung - meine Große "durfte" daher immer Matrosenkleider tragen. Und das, wo sie Kleider doch total haßt! Und auch ich selbst trage immer wieder mal, einfach so, ein Matrosenhemd....

The team at Lovely Hänglar Only wants us to use our favourite stamp. Oh well, this is so hard! But I love those sailor dresses - I dressed up my oldest with those cute sailor dresses when she was little. And this allthough she really hated dresses! And also I myself have several sailor shirts that I wear just for fun every know and then...

Hallo und sonnigen Dienstag! Wie schon im Post geschrieben, gibt es heute mal eine Hänglar-Karte von mir.... Bei Lovely Hänglar Only gibt es nämlich seit Sonntag eine neue Challenge - das Thema ist die Farbvorgabe rot, weiß und grau/schwarz.

Hello and sunny tuesday! As I wrote in the title of this post have I made a Hänglar card today... Because there is a new challenge over at Lovely Hänglar Only that started on sunday - the theme are the colors red, white and grey/black.

Außerdem paßt meine Karte zur neuen Challenge bei Papertake Weekly: "triple tastic" - benutzt irgendeine Sache 3mal. Bei mir sind es 3 Papiere und 3 Knöpfe.

My card also matches the new "triple tastic" theme over at Papertake Weekly: use 3 of something, I used 3 papers and 3 buttons.

Und Knöpfe sollen es bei The Crafty Pad sein.

Hallo und sonnigen Dienstag! Heute habe ich eine Hänglar-Karte, die ich Euch zeigen möchte. Und da bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar das Thema "tags" lautet, habe ich mal wieder eine Tag-Karte gemacht.

Hello and sunny tuesday! Today I have a Hänglar card to share with you. And since the theme over at A Spoon Full Of Sugar is "tags" I decided to make a tag card again.

Bei Copic Creations soll diesmal eine Farbkombi aus Komplementär-Farben gewählt werden - und es gibt ein tolles Farbrad, das die Entscheidung erleichtert. Ich habe mich für Powder Blue und Salmon/Rust entschieden.

At Copic Creations they want us to make a card using complementary colors - and they have a great color wheel posted to make the decision easier. I went with Powder Blue and Salmon/Rust.

Papertake Weekly macht es uns diesmal einfach mit dem Thema "anything goes".

Papertake Weekly has an easy challenge for us with the theme "anything goes".

Und bei Lovely Hänglar Only lautet die Aufgabe "Nähte". Da die Innen- und Außenseite meiner Karte zu sehen sind, habe ich mich für unechte Nähte entschieden.

And at Lovely Hänglar Only they want us to include stitches. Since the inside and outside of my card have to look nice I went with faux-stitching.

Bei Lovely Hänglar Only lautet das Thema "take two" und es sollen mindestens zwei Hänglar-Stempel verwendet werden. Nun, auf meiner Karte ist das nicht sofort erkennbar aber sie sind da! Ich habe gestern das neue Kit "Message" bekommen. Darin sind "normale" Figuren mit herunterhängenden Armen und extra dazu zwei Schilder mit Händen, die sie halten. Ich habe also erst die Figur gestempelt und darüber mit 3D-Pads das Schild samt Hand geklebt. Darauf habe ich dann den Text von Studio G gestempelt.

At Lovely Hänglar Only the theme is "take two" and they want us to use at least two Hänglar stamps. Well, you can´t see it at first look but there are two images by Hänglar on my card. Yesterday I got the new "message" kit in the mail. It has "normal" characters with arms hanging down and extra two signs with a hand that holds them. So I stamped the character first and then put the sign with hand on top of it using 3D pads. On the sign I stamped the text by Studio G.

Frühling liegt in der Luft

Schönen Donnerstag! Heute habe ich eine recht einfache Karte für Euch - dafür mit ganz viel Blüten, fröhlichen Farben und viel Frühling! Damit paßt sie auch zur Challenge bei Lovely Hänglar Only, die das Thema colors of spring, also Frühlingsfarben, ausgesucht haben.

Happy thursday! Today I have a quite simple card for you - but it´s made with a lot of tiny flowers, happy colors and a lot of spring feeling! And so it also fits perfectly into the challenge over at Lovely Hänglar Only: colors of spring.

Bei Sir Stampalot heißt es "all creatures great and small" - also alle möglichen Kreaturen. Mir fiel spontan dieser Stempel von Hänglar ein. Ich habe die Flügel noch einmal extra auf Folie gestempelt, beglittert und etwas abstehend als zweite Lage aufgeklebt.

At Sir Stampalot the theme is "all creatures great and small". This cute stamp by Hänglar came to my mind. I stamped the wings a second time on transparency, added some Stickles and put them on top of the image as a second layer.


Papertake Weekly hat sich für das Thema anything goes plus flowers - alles ist erlaubt plus Blumen - entschieden.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 13. November 2010 und eine Gewinnerin

Es ist schon wieder Samstag - Zeit für das Stempeleinmaleins! Diesmal haben wir eine Gastdesignerin: Norma - und sie hat das Tutorial für diese wunderbare Laternenbox zur Verfügung gestellt.

Another saturday has come - and so it´s time for our weekly issue of Stempeleinmaleins! We have another guest designer this week: Norma - and she is sharing her tutorial for this wonderful lantern box with us.

Die Anleitung sieht im ersten Moment etwas kompliziert aus, aber sie ist so toll beschrieben daß es wirklich ganz einfach war, sie nachzubasteln.

The instructions look a bit intimidating at the first sight but Norma did such a good job on writing down the step by step instrucions that it is really easy to make your own box.

Und hier ist die andere Seite - die übrigen zwei Seiten sind mit dem üblichen "Laternenkreuz" und Folie gemacht, so daß es echt wie eine Laterne aussieht und man einen kleinen Blick auf den Inhalt erhaschen kann:

And this is the other side - the remaining two sides are made from a X-shape and closed with transparency so it looks like a real lantern und you can have a peek at what´s inside:


Ich hatte das Glück eines der Weihnachts-Kits von Hänglar zu ergattern und die Stempel kamen genau im richtigen Moment, um meine Laterne damit zu schmücken. Die Wimpel-Kette und die Nikolaus-Socke sind, ebenso wie die Ilex-Blätter auf dem "Dach" - mit Stoff von Stampin´Up überzogen.
Die Papiere sind aus dem Joyful Peace Stack von GCD.

I was lucky enough to grab one of those x-mas 1 kits by Hänglar and the stamps arrived right in time to decorate my lantern with them. The banner and the stocking are - as well as the holly leaves on top of the box - covered with fabric by Stampin´Up. Papers are from GCD´s Joyful Peace stack.

Bei Lovely Hänglar Only soll diesmal eine "nicht-quadratische Easel Card" gemacht werden. Warum dann nicht rund? Auch wenn ich feststellen muß, daß sie etwas unsicher steht.

At Lovely Hänglar Only they want us to make a "non-square easel card". So, why not round? Allthough I have to admit that it´s not standing too good.

Die Farbvorgabe kommt von Just Us Girls: Schwarz, Creme und Packpapierbraun.

The colors are given by Just Us Girls: black, cream and kraft.

Bei Lovely Hänglar Only lautet das Thema diesmal "Jahreszeiten" - und ich habe mich für Winter bzw. damit zusammenhängend Weihnachten entschieden.

At Lovely Hänglar Only the theme is "seasons" - and I went with winter/christmas.

Alphabet Challenge sind bei W angekommen - und das steht für wings, also Flügel.

Sparkle and Shine - also Glitzer und Schimmer - ist das neue Thema bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar.

Dies ist der Sketch, nach dem ich diese Karte gemacht habe - er kommt von Stamps & Fun = Creativity: This is the sketch that I used for this card - it´s from Stamps & Fun = Creativity: Bei Stempelträume lautet das Thema "Schleife" - und geht somit Hand in Hand mit der Challenge von Wild Orchid, wo es heißt "ribbons and bows" - also Bänder und Schleifen. At Stempelträume the theme is "bow" - and so it is about the same like at Wild Orchid, where the challenge is called "ribbons and bows". Lovely Hänglar Only hat sich für Paper Piecing entschieden. Lovely Hänglar Only wants us to do some Paper Piecing. Und bei den Kreativen Stempelfreunden ist schon Herbst - zumindest beim Thema. And at Kreative Stempelfreunde "fall" has arrived - at least in this week´s challenge. Das Motiv ist aus dem "Limited Edition" Kit von Hänglar. Ich habe zum Paper Piecen dieselben Papiere wie auf der Karte verwendet - alle in schönen Herbstfarben. The image is from the "Limited Edition" kit by Hänglar. I used the same papers for the paper piecing as I did on the card - all of them in beautiful warm fall colors.

So, hier bin ich schon wieder... Diesmal mit einer Karte, die ich nach dem Sketch von Take Time For You gemacht habe: Here I am again... This time to show you a card I made following the sketch from Take Time For You: Außerdem habe ich das Thema von Lovely Hänglar eingebaut: Lace. Und dasselbe Thema gibt es auch bei der 2. Challenge von Wild Orchid Crafts. I also included the theme of Lovely Hanglar: lace. And at Wild Orchid Crafts they picked the same theme for their 2nd challenge. Bei Cutie Sunday heißt es diesmal "Schnörkel". At Cutie Sunday the new challenge is called "flourish". Die Practical Scrappers möchten, daß wir diesmal 7 - oder mehr - verschiedene Dinge für unser Werk verwenden. Ich habe: Stempelmotiv, Spitze, Perlen, Motivpapier, Cardstock, Blumen, Blätter und Die Cuts verwendet. Practical Scrappers want us to use 7 - or more - different things for our project this week. I went with: stamped image, lace, pearls, patterned paper, cardstock, flowers, leaves and die cuts. Und zu guter Letzt sind da noch die Farben, die eine Vorgabe von SPCC sind: soft suede, crumb cake und certainly celery. And last but not least there are the colors that are given by SPCC: soft suede, crumb cake and certainly celery.
