Einen wunderschönen Ostermontag, Ihr Lieben! Ich hoffe, Ihr konntet gestern alle im Kreise Eurer Lieben das Osterfest feiern und habt auch alle Eier gefunden...
Auch wenn Feiertag ist - bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity gibt es natürlich trotzdem eine neue Challenge. "Schmetterlinge" lautet unser neues Thema.

Even if today's another holiday here in Germany - we at Stamps&Fun=Creativity have a new challenge up for you as every monday. "Butterflies" is our new theme.

Kommt Euch meine Karte irgendwie bekannt vor? Ja, ich habe nochmal den Sketch von The Sketchy Challenge verwendet und auch nochmal das süße Motiv von Kirsta Smith/Saturated Canary. Aber die Farben sind anders, und schon wirkt auch die ganze Karte anders. Aber so ist es perfekt für meine Zwillinge, nicht gleich, aber auch nicht zu unterschiedlich... Und es war schon immer so - Natascha hatte "das Rote", egal was, und Pia "das Blaue". Darum habe ich auf Pia's Karte mehr blau, hier darfür zusätzlich rot verwendet. Und die Haarfarbe meines Motives habe ich den Haaren meiner Mädels angepaßt.
Schmetterlinge findet Ihr auf dem Papier von Magnolia im Hintergrund und auch links neben dem Motiv flattert einer.

Does this card look kind of familar to you? Yes, I used our Sketch from The Sketchy Challenge again and also the cute image by Krista Smith/Saturated Canary. But I changed the colors - and this makes the whole card look different. But it's perfect for my twins - kind of the same but still different. And since Natascha always got the "red stuff" - no matter what - and Pia the blue one I used more of the blues on Pia's card and added some red to Natascha's. I also made the hair coloration match my girls.
Butterflies can be found on the background paper by Magnolia and there is one fluttering on the left of the image.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 18. Februar 2012

Wunderschönen Samstag und willkommen zu einer neuen Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins! Diesmal zeigen wir Euch, wie Ihr einen Teelichthalter machen könnt - mit Glas, damit er auch benutzbar ist.

Happy saturday and welcome to another issue of Stempeleinmaleins. This week we have a tutorial for you for how to make such a tealight holder where you put in a glass so it can be used without danger.

Ein Motiv mit Kerze oder Laterne war hier natürlich perfekt - und Tilda bot sich hier dann an. Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert und die Laterne und Lichtreflexe habe ich mit gelber Schimmerkreide gemacht. Im Hintergrund habe ich Zaun und Baum von Magnolia gesetzt und den Baum mit kleinen cremefarbenen Blüten etwas frühlingshaft gestaltet. Das Gras ist mit einer Stanze von Martha Stewart gemacht.

To use an image with a lantern or candle was something that came to my mind first - and Tilda was my # 1 choice. I colored her with Copics and used shimmer chalks to add the yellow candle light and reflexes. In the background I added the fence and tree by Magnolia and made the tree a little spring-ish by adding tiny cream blossoms. The grass is made using a Martha Stewart punch.

Schönen Donnerstag Ihr Lieben! Die letzten Tage war es etwas still hier, aber ich arbeite mit meinen Mädels gerade an ihren Halloween-Party-Einladungen... Heute startet eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday und nun kann ich Euch auch endlich die Geburtstagskarte für meine Schwiegermutter zeigen - passend zu Taschentücher-Tasche und Schokoverpackung. Unser neues Thema bei CCT lautet "time for cake".

Happy thursday dear ones! I have been quiet the last days because me and my girls are working on the invites for their halloween party.... Today we have a new challenge at Cute Card Thursday and now I can finally share the birthday card I have made for my MIL - matching the tissue box and the chocolate bag. Our new theme at CCT is "time for cake".

Auf der Karte habe ich sowohl Papier als auch Stoff verwendet und dazu das Motiv "Cupcake" von Belles'n'Whistles benutzt. Die Kirsche auf dem Muffin habe ich einfach durch eine kleine Kerze ersetzt. Hier noch ein Bild von Karte und Tasche zusammen:

Hello and happy saturday! It´s time for a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins and this week we have a tutorial on how to make this apron card. No matter if you put garden images or kitchen images on top of it, this apron is easy to make but looks sooooo nice.

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Mit meiner sommerlichen Karte heute kämpfe ich gegen den unaufhörlich fallenden Regen draußen an, hole mir quasi den Sommer zurück.

Das süße Motive Explore Tilda ist einfach wunderbar sommerlich und war traumhaft zu colorieren. Auch die Papiere sind fast alle aus der neuen Magnolia Kollektion und auch wenn ich grün und rot als Farbkombi eigentlich nicht wirklich mag - auf der Karte finde ich sie prima!

The cute image Explore Tilda is just too cute and it was so much fun to color it. Also nearly all papers are from the new Magnolia collection and even if I don´t really like the color combo of green and red - on this card I think it´s georgeous!

Schönen Mittwoch Morgen Euch allen! Sobald die Sonne rauskommt, sieht alles doch schon sehr nach Frühling aus - genau wie meine Karte für die neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy! Unser Thema lautet "blooms and buttons" - Blüten und Knöpfe. Gut, Knöpfe findet Ihr auf meiner Karte nur in der Einzahl, dafür aber um so mehr Blüten.

Happy wednesday morning! As soon as the sun is shining everything outside is looking a lot like spring - and so does my card for the new challenge over at Whiff Of Joy! Our theme is "blooms and buttons". Well, there´s only one button on my card but therefor there are even more blooms on it.

Der Stempel ist aus dem Frühlingskit - die Bienchen (oder Käfer) die eigentlich von den Händen starten lagen außerhalb des Nestie-Bereiches und waren zu klein, um sie einzeln auszuschneiden. Darum habe ich einfach winzige, rosafarbene Punkte mit meinem Perlenpen gemacht, so daß es wie viele kleine Blüten aussieht.

The stamp is from Whiff Of Joy´s spring kit - the little bees (or buts) that originally fly away from her hands were outside of the oval nesties when I cut the image but they were also too small to cut them out individually. So I just added a bunch of tiny light pink dots with my pearl pen so it looks like many little blossoms.

Schönen Donnerstag! Heute habe ich eine recht einfache Karte für Euch - dafür mit ganz viel Blüten, fröhlichen Farben und viel Frühling! Damit paßt sie auch zur Challenge bei Lovely Hänglar Only, die das Thema colors of spring, also Frühlingsfarben, ausgesucht haben.

Happy thursday! Today I have a quite simple card for you - but it´s made with a lot of tiny flowers, happy colors and a lot of spring feeling! And so it also fits perfectly into the challenge over at Lovely Hänglar Only: colors of spring.

Bei Sir Stampalot heißt es "all creatures great and small" - also alle möglichen Kreaturen. Mir fiel spontan dieser Stempel von Hänglar ein. Ich habe die Flügel noch einmal extra auf Folie gestempelt, beglittert und etwas abstehend als zweite Lage aufgeklebt.

At Sir Stampalot the theme is "all creatures great and small". This cute stamp by Hänglar came to my mind. I stamped the wings a second time on transparency, added some Stickles and put them on top of the image as a second layer.

Belles´n´Whistles Challenge "snowflakes"

Auch bei Belles´n´Whistles Challenges geht alles seinen gewohnten Gang - und somit gibt es auch dort heute eine neue Challenge für Euch: Schneeflocken ist das Thema!

Also at Belles´n´Whistles Challenges we continue as usual - and so we have a new challenge for you starting today. And the first theme of 2011 is "snowflakes"!

Ich habe "Skiing" aus der Snowbabes Kollektion verwendet - wohl, weil wir mit unseren Mädels gerade öfter beim Skifahren sind und es so viel Spaß zusammen macht. Damit meine Karte zum Thema paßt, habe ich nicht nur Schneeflocken als Deko auf die Karte gesetzt, sondern mit Opaque White von Copic auch auf dem Motiv kleine Tupfen als Schneeflocken verteilt. Jetzt sieht es so aus, als hätte es gerade leicht das Schneien begonnen... Die tolle Schneeflocken-Bordüre von Quickutz hat mir Tanja zu Weihnachten geschenk - nochmal danke meine Liebe! Die Schneeflocken oberhalb des Motivs sind mit einer Stanze von Martha Stewart gemacht, der Baum ist ein Cutting Die von Marianne D. Alle Papiere sind von DCWV, der Text aus zwei kleinen Stempeln von Studio G zusammen-gezimmert.

I used "Skiing" from Belles´n´Whistles´ Snowbabes collection - I guess because we love to go skiing with our girls at the moment and it is so much fun together. To make my card match the snowflakes theme I did not only use snowflakes as decoration on my card but also added tiny dots on top of the image, using Opaque White from Copic. Isn´t it looking as if it just started snowing? The beautiful snowflake border die by Quickutz was a christmas gift from Tanja - thanks so much again hun! The snowflakes on the top right corner is made using a Martha Stewart punch, the tree is made using a Marianna D cutting die. All papers are DCWV, saying is made using two different small stamps from Studio G.

Hallo - und schön, daß Du vorbeischaust! Bei mir ist es momentan etwas ruhiger - sozusagen "wegen Renovierung geschlossen". Das Zimmer unserer Mädels hat es dringend nötig, und außerdem ist es ihr Weihachtsgeschenk. Alles neu... und somit jede Menge Arbeit. Darum wird es die nächsten Tage "nur" meine DT-Karten zu sehen geben.

Hello - and glad to see you! It´s pretty quiet at the moment here - my blog is "closed for renovation". Well, not the blog is getting a make over but my girls´ room. It´s their christmas gift - and really necessary! All new... so it means a lot of word. So you´ll "only" get to see my dt cards for the next few days.

Heute startet unsere neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy - und das Thema lautet "Weihnachtskarte".

Today the new challenge over at Whiff Of Joy is starting - and the theme we picked for you is "christmas card".

Ich habe zwei Stempel aus dem September Stempel Kit verwendet. Vielleicht nicht unbedingt die meistgenutzte Stempel-Kombination, aber mir gefielen die Laterne und das kleine Jesus-Kind zusammen sehr gut für eine klassische Karte. Da das Motiv recht zart ist, habe ich nicht zu viel Verzierungen verwendet, dafür auf die Ecken der Designpapiere etwas Goldstaub aufgetragen.

I used two stamps from the september stamp kit. Well, probably this isn´t the most popular stamp combination, but I liked the lantern and little Jesus together for a classical card. Since the image is quite small and soft I didn´t add too many embellishments but some fine gold powder to the edges of the designer´s papers.

Schönen Freitag Euch allen! Die heutige Karte steht wieder ganz unter dem Thema "Herbst", denn bei "Stampin´ for the Weekend" heißt es "Autumn Inspiration" - also herbstinspiriert - und auch bei Sir Stampalot hat der Herbst Einzug gehalten: "autumn breeze, buttons and a bow" - also Herbstwind, Knöpfe und eine Schleife.
Da ich mein Orange- und Rot-Pensum für diese Woche voll habe, habe ich mich für die etwas tristeren Herbstfarben Braun und Gelb-Grün entschieden. Dafür versprüht Tilda in ihrem Berg Blätter ganz viel Freude.

Happy Friday to all of you! Today´s card is once again fall themed because "Stampin´ for the Weekend" is asking for "autumn inspiration" and fall also arrived at Sir Stampalot: "autumn breeze, buttons and a bow".
I think for the rest of the week I am done with all those reds and oranges and so I went with the more "sad" fall colors brown and green. But Tilda in that pile of fallen leaves is having so much fun that the card still looks happy to me.

Das Motiv heißt "Tilda in Autumn Leaves" und ist von Magnolia, die Papiere sind mal wieder quer Beet - und statt eines Textes habe ich dieses Siegel in Siegelwachs gedrückt. Es sagt
"100 % authentic, 100 % pure".

The image is called Tilda in Autumn Leaves and is by Magnolia, papers are different brands and instead stamping a saying I´ve added that seal made with seal wax. It says "100 % authentic, 100 % pure".

Beim StampMan soll es diesmal "distressing" sein.

Ich habe endlich einen der Stempel aus Magnolia´s Bon Voyage Kollektion verwendet: "Tilda with Bundle". Dazu hat mir dann der Text von Stampin´Up sehr gut gefallen. Die Papiere sind von My Mind´s Eye und Magnolia, die Blume ist mit der neuen "Doily Flowers" Die von Magnolia gemacht, für die Blätter habe ich eine Stanze von Martha Stewart verwendet.

Finally I used one of the stamps from Magnolia´s Bon Voyage collection: Tilda with Bundle. I really liked the text by Stampin´Up with it. Papers are by My Mind´s Eye and Magnolia, the flower was made using the "doily flowers" die from Magnolia, for the leaves I used a Martha Stewart punch.

Bei Challenge Up Your Life heißt es diesmal "wir feiern". Tilda hat einen leckeren Geburtstags-Muffin gebacken.

At Challenge Up Your Life they are having a "celebration" this week. And Tilda made a yummy birthday cupcake.

Die Farbvorgabe stammt von den Sketchy Colors: blau, beige und grau.

The colors are given by Sketchy Colors´ new challenge: blue, beige and grey.

Die August-Challenge bei Sir Stampalot lautet "bring on the bling". Also Glitzer, und den habe ich auf dem Muffin, auf den Flügeln und in Form der glitzernden Perlen eingebaut.

The august challenge at Sir Stampalot is called "bring on the bling". I used some Stickles on the cupcake icing and Tilda´s wings and also added those dazzling pearls.

Stamptacular Sunday hat "out of this world" als neues Thema gewählt. Alles, aus dem Reich der Fantasie kann verwendet werden: Roboter, Einhörner, Feen, Tiere, die Menschendinge tun oder tragen und natürlich auch Raumschiffe und Astronauten... Da Tilda Flügel hat, muß sie eine kleine Fee sein!

Stamptacular Sunday named the new challenge "out of this world" - and anything you can imagine can be used for this: robots, unicorns, fairies, animals doing or wearing human stuff and of course also all that space stuff. Since Tilda has wings she has to be a little fairy.

Die 2. Challenge bei Bunny Zoe´s Craft trägt den Titel "Summer Days" - und Eis und Sommer gehören untrennlich zueinander.

The 2nd challenge over at Bunny Zoe´s Craft is called "summer days". Ice cream and summer are somthing that goes together hand in hand.

Auch bei Sir Stampalot dreht sich diesmal alles um den Sommer - wie auch immer man das interpretiert.

And also at Sir Stampalot it´s all about summer this month - however you interpret this theme.

Bei Crafty Pad lautet das Thema "vintage" - darum habe ich viel Braun verwendet um die Karte wie eines der alten Sepia-Fotos aussehen zu lassen.

At Crafty Pad the new theme is "vintage" so I used a lot of brown tones to make the card look a bit like one of those old sepia photos.

Ich habe heute zum ersten Mal Tilda mit der Eiscreme verwendet (schäm - sie ist doch schon ein Jahr alt!)... Der runde Text ist von Catslife Press, das "enjoy" Teil eines älteren Weihnachtsstempels von Stampin´Up, die Papiere sind von K&Company und Magnolia.

I used Tilda with icecream for the very first time today (blame on me - she´s nearly one year old!)... The round saying is by Catslife Press, "enjoy" part of an older christmas stamp by Stampin´Up, papers by K&Company and Magnolia.

Schönen Donnerstag Euch allen! Diese Karte wolle ich Euch schon gestern zeigen, aber irgenwie bin ich nicht rechtzeitig fertig geworden und dann war das Licht zum Fotografieren weg. Darum also heute... Sie ist nach dem Sketch von Sketch and Stash entstanden:

Happy thursday! I wanted to show you this card yesterday but somehow I didn´t get it to finish it in time and then the light for a good photo was gone. So I´m posting it today... I made it using this sketch from Sketch and Stash:

Bei Simon Says gibt es diesmal ein Rezept: ein gestempeltes Motiv, 2 Motivpapiere (plus einfarbigen Cardstock zum Matten) und 3 verschiedene Embellishments, wobei es egal ist, wie viele man von den einzelnen Arten verwendet. Ich habe Blumen, Knöpfe und Spitze verwendet.

At Simon Says they have a recipe for us: a stamped image, 2 designer papers (plus a contrast cardstock for layering) and 3 different types of embellishments. You can use as many as you want from each type. I went with flowers, buttons and lace.

Die Juni-Challenge bei Sir Stampalot steht diesmal im Zeichen der Stanzer - alles andere kann frei gewählt werden.

Bei Your Next Stamp sollen Knöpfe verwendet werden, und das paßt super zur aktuellen Wednesday Challenge bei All That Scraps, denn dort möchten sie gerne Knöpfe und Bänder.

At Your Next Stamp they want us to use buttons and this is perfect to go with the new wednesday challenge at All That Scraps because there they want to see buttons and ribbon.

Sketch Saturday # 104 und Sir Stampalot May Challenge

Und bei Sir Stampalot heißt das Thema der Mai Challenge "blossoms and butterflies" - Blüten und Schmetterlinge.
Zuerst habe ich an "Zoe gazing at the butterfly" von Sarah Kay/Stampavie und dann ist mir noch das neue Mariposa-Papier von DCWV eingefallen. Der Stack ist voller Schmetterlinge und Blumen und sehr zart gezeichnet. Auch auf dem großen Papier im Hintergrund befinden sich Schmetterlinge, die ich aber leider überkleben mußte. Dafür flattert jetzt noch ein großes Exemplar über die Karte.
Der Bordürenstanzer unter dem Motiv ist von Martha Stewart, der Text von Stampin´Up.

And at Sir Stampalot the theme for may is "blossoms and butterflies".
First I thought of "Zoe gazing at the butterfly" by Sarah Kay/Stampavie and then the new Mariposa paper stack by DCWV came to my mind. It ist full of butterflies and flowers and drawn beautifully. Also on the big paper in the background there are butterflies all over but I had to cover it with the other papers. Instead a big one is fluttering over the card now.
The border punch is by Martha Stewart, saying by Stampin´Up.
