We were sitting in the grass for hours, making wreath and necklaces from daisies and more than once we ended up with a string that was 10 m long...

Hallo - und schön dass Du da bist! Dies ist meine erste Karte für September die auch wirklich im September entstanden ist!LOL Der Urlaub war wunderbar und auch den Jetlag haben wir endlich hinter uns gebracht. Alltag, Du hast uns wieder. Und das bedeutet natürlich auch basteln - und all meine neuen Errungenschaften ausprobieren und verwenden... ;o)
Nun aber zur heutigen Karte: Es ist die Karte für die brandneue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy - diesmal mit dem Thema Layers.

Hello - and nice to see you! This is my very first card for september that actually was made in september!LOL The vacation was wonderful and we also got rid of the jetlag - finally. Every day life, here we are again. And of course that also means crafting time - and playing with all the new stuff I couldn´t resist to buy... ;o)
Okay, on to today´s card: it´s made for the brandnew challenge at Whiff Of Joy - with the theme of layering.

Die 2. Challenge bei Bunny Zoe´s Craft trägt den Titel "Summer Days" - und Eis und Sommer gehören untrennlich zueinander.

The 2nd challenge over at Bunny Zoe´s Craft is called "summer days". Ice cream and summer are somthing that goes together hand in hand.

Auch bei Sir Stampalot dreht sich diesmal alles um den Sommer - wie auch immer man das interpretiert.

And also at Sir Stampalot it´s all about summer this month - however you interpret this theme.

Bei Crafty Pad lautet das Thema "vintage" - darum habe ich viel Braun verwendet um die Karte wie eines der alten Sepia-Fotos aussehen zu lassen.

At Crafty Pad the new theme is "vintage" so I used a lot of brown tones to make the card look a bit like one of those old sepia photos.

Ich habe heute zum ersten Mal Tilda mit der Eiscreme verwendet (schäm - sie ist doch schon ein Jahr alt!)... Der runde Text ist von Catslife Press, das "enjoy" Teil eines älteren Weihnachtsstempels von Stampin´Up, die Papiere sind von K&Company und Magnolia.

I used Tilda with icecream for the very first time today (blame on me - she´s nearly one year old!)... The round saying is by Catslife Press, "enjoy" part of an older christmas stamp by Stampin´Up, papers by K&Company and Magnolia.

Dies ist bereits meine 3. Karte als Gastdesigner bei Stampavie and More - Kinders, wohin geht die Zeit nur?! Diesmal haben wir das Thema "flower power". Und natürlich mußte dafür ein Motiv mit Blumen und auch Blumen auf der Karte her.

This is my 3rd card as a guest designer for Stampavie and More - oh my, where does time go?! We have the theme of "flower power" for the new challenge. And of course I had to use an image with flowers and paper flowers on my card.

Und auch zur Challenge bei Copic Creations paßt die Karte, denn dort ist das Thema "monochromes Colorieren". Ich habe Brauntöne verwendet und nur einen Touch blau für die Blumen - ein wenig Farbe mußte einfach sein.

And my card is also fitting the theme over at Copic Creations which is "monochrome coloring". I went with a bunch of different brown tones and only added a little bit of blue for the flowers - just had to use a bit of color too.

Das Motiv ist ein weiteres aus dem Stamp Kit Birdie Love von Whiff Of Joy. Es enthält neben wunderschönen Blumen, einem süßen Vogelhaus und drei wundervollen Figuren auch viele Sprüche. Einen davon habe ich auf dieser Karte ebenfalls verwendet. Aber es ist nur für kurze Zeit erhältlich...

The image I used is another one from the Stamp Kit Birdie Love by Whiff Of Joy. It contains not only beautiful flowers, a cute bird house and three wonderful Willow stamps also a lot of sentiments. One of them is used on this card as well. But the kit is only available for a limited time!

Okay, das Thema, das Tammy für die neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft Challenges ausgesucht hat, lautet "red and white all over", also nur rot und weiß auf der Karte verwenden. Da fällt meine Karte dann unter "klassische Thema-Verfehlung", oder? Naja, ich habe halt ein ganz zartes rot gewählt.... Wir werden diese Woche von Sassy Studio Designs gesponsort und wir hatten zwei Motive zur Auswahl - eines davon diese schöne Braut. Und da paßt so ein knalliges rot dann nicht wirklich, oder?

Okay, the theme Tammy picked for the new challenge over at Cupcake Craft is "red and white all over". So, my card seems to really not match this challenge, right? Can we say I used a very light red...? This week we are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and they gave the DT two images to choose frome. One of them was this beautiful bride. And a bright red really wouldn´t fit that image.

Cupcake Craft Challenge # 73

Diese Woche haben wir bei Cupcake Craft Challenge das Thema "going girly" für Euch ausgesucht und möchten so richtig typische Mädchen-Karten sehen. Die Challenge wird gesponsort von Stretch´n´Bubbles, die so lieb waren, jedem von uns eines ihrer Motive zur Verfügung zu stellen. Ist die kleine Fee nicht süß? Und sie paßt nicht nur für Valentinstag, sondern ist perfekt für jede andere Gelegenheit, zu der man jemandem sagen möchte, daß man ihn mag. Diese Karte werden meine Mädels einer ihrer besten Freundinnen zum Geburtstag schenken.

Bei Magnolia Down Under heißt es diesmal "stamp with another use". Das heißt, man soll einen Stempel anders als gedacht verwenden. Zum Beispiel einen Osterstempel für eine Weihnachtskarte. Ich habe mich für diesen Sommerstempel und die Bank entschieden und sie für eine Weihnachtskarte verwendet.
Und damit paßt die Karte auch zum neuen Thema bei Stempelträume: Weihnachten.

At Magnolia Down Under the new challenge is called "stamp with another use". Means, we are supposed to use a stamp in another way as planned when it was released. For example, use an easter stamp for a christmas card. I used this summery Tilda and the bank to make a christmas card.
And so this card is also matching the new challenge over at Stempelträume: christmas.

Außerdem habe ich das Thema von den Daring Cardmakers verwendet, das "say it in Sepia" lautet. Aufgabe hier ist es, eine Karte in Sepia zu gestalten.
Der Weihnachtsmann ist ein Stempel von Whiff of Joy, der Text - ein Ausschnitt aus "Santa Claus is Coming To Town" - von Magnolia. Über dem Motiv liegt eine Schicht UTEE, alle Papiere wurden mit Distress Ink auf alt getrimmt.

I also used Daring Cardmakers´ theme "say it in sepia" on my card. It means doing a card in sepia tones only.
Santa is a stamp by Whiff of Joy, the saying - which includes some lyrics of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town - is by Magnolia. I covered the image with some UTEE, the papers are distressed with Distress Ink.

Ich habe diese Lucia Tilda von Magnolia verwendet. Die Papiere sind von My Mind´s Eye. Irgendwie wirkt die Karte auf dem Foto etwas eigentartig - in echt sieht sie viel schöner aus!

And Stempelträume is giving us a part of a german christmas lyric for inspiration. I am trying to translate this so you´ll get the meaning:

"We´re announcing advent has come,
see, the first candle is lightning."

I hope, this makes any sense...LOL So, just take out your candle stamps because that´s what they are asking for: a stamp showing a candle in any way.
I went with this Lucia Tilda by Magnolia. Papers are by My Mind´s Eye. Don´t know why, but this card is looking strange on the photo - it´s so much nicer in reality.

Magnolia Down Under hat diese Woche wie so viele das Thema Halloween gewählt. Da komme ich zumindest dazu, alle Halloween-Stempel von Magnolia zu verwenden! Und falls auch Ihr mit dem Halloween-Fieber infiziert seid, könnt Ihr die Stempel hier bei mir bekommen.
Daring Cardmakers haben "autumn purple" als Thema für diese Woche gewählt. Alles gilt, solange lila die Hauptfarbe ist.

Magnolia Down Under has - like so many others too - choosen the theme Halloween. That´s giving me the chance to use all my Magnolia Halloween stamps.
Daring Cardmakers want us to make "autumn purple" cards. Anything is fine as long as the main color is purple.
And Sunday Sketch and Stamp has created this sketch that I roteted for my card:



Ich habe diesmal Edwin als Dracula verwendet. Der Zaun ist aus Papierstreifen gebastelt, die Papiere sind von DCWV, das Spinnennetz und der Text sind Rub-Ons von Stampin´Up und die Fledermaus und die Spinne sind mit einem Cuttlebug Cut and Emboss die entstanden.

This time I used Edwin as dracula. The fence is made from paper strips, papers are DCWV, spider web and sentiment are rub-ons by Stampin´Up and the bat and spider are made using a Cuttlbug cut and emboss die.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp # 7 und Stampin´for the Weekend # 7

"Rock´n´Roll 70s", das ist der vielversprechende Titel der Challenge # 7 auf Stampin´ for the Weekend. Zur Auswahl stehen drei Song-Titel aus den 70ern, einen davon darf man wählen und sich dann davon inspirieren lassen. Da ich mal etwas bunteres machen wollte, habe ich mich für "seasons in the sun" entschieden.
Und bei Sunday Sketch and Stamp´s neuer Challenge gibt es einen tollen Sketch:

"Rock´n´Roll 70s" - that the Titel for challenge # 7 over at Stampin´ for the Weekend. They have 3 song titels from the 70s, choose one of them and get inspired by that titel. I decided to go with "seasons in the sun".
And at Sunday Sketch and Stamp they have a great sketch for their new challenge:



Das Motiv ist von Sugar Nellie und sie schreit geradezu nach Farbe und Spaß. Dementsprechend habe ich dann auch den Titel "Let´s have fun" mit dem Computer ausgedruckt. Der Schmetterling, den ich dreidimensional gestaltet habe, ist von Stampin´Up, die Papiere von My Minds Eye.

The image is by Sugar Nellie and she is screaming for color and fun. So I used "Let´s have fun" as a titel which is computer generated. The butterfly (I mounted it 3D) is by Stampin´Up, the papers are My Minds Eye.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp # 6

Diese Karte habe ich nach dem neuen Sketch von Sunday Sketch and Stamp gemacht:

Die Papiere sind von My Minds Eye, das Motiv ist von Sugar Nellie. Ich wollte einen Titel wie "Küssen hat nicht funktioniert" oder auch "es ist immer gut einen Plan B zu haben", habe mich dann aber entschlossen, auf den Spruch zu verzichten. Die Kronen sind mit silbernem Embossingpulver bestreut, dazu passend habe ich ein paar silberne Embellishments verwendet sowie die Schnörkel aus silberner Spiegelfolie. Leider kommen die Farben auf dem Foto irgendwie viel zu grell rüber...

The papers are by My Minds Eye, the image is by Sugar Nellie. I wanted to use a sentiment like "kissing didn´t work" or even "always have a plan B" but then decided to go without any saying. The crowns are highlithed with some silver heat embossing powder, matching this I used some silver metal embellishments and silver mirror cardstock. Unfortunately the colors on the picture turn out way brighter than in real life...

A Spoon Full Of Sugar Challenge # 58 und Stamp With Stampavie # 50

Auch A Spoon Full Of Sugar hat dem Sommer eine Challenge gewidmet und dieses Thema für diese Woche gewählt.
Und Stamp With Stampavie hat sich für das Thema "Vogel" entschieden.
Mein Motiv ist von Sugar Nellie. Dieser Stempel ist eigentlich viel größer und hat noch einen Baum mit Vogelhaus neben der Süßen, aber ich habe den Stempel geteilt, um ihn auch seperat nutzen zu können. Außerdem ist er echt riesig. Diesmal habe ich den Baum nicht verwendet sondern lasse das Mädchen zu einer Schwalbe hinaufschauen. Die ist - genauso wie der Text - aus dem Carte Postale Set von Stampin´Up, die Schnörkel sind von Autumn Leaves. Ich "mußte" außerdem nochmal die Blumentechnik von gestern verwenden, habe aber diesmal die Herzen für die Blütenblätter kleiner gewählt, damit die Blumen nicht gar so dominant sind. Die Papiere sind aus der ganz neuen "Wild Asparagus" Serie von My Minds Eye. Ich habe mich total in diese Papiere verliebt! Das schräg aufgeklebte Papier habe ich mit der Cuttlebug embosst und etwas mit Sandpapier bearbeitet.

Also A Spoon Full Of Sugar dedicated a challenge to summer and has choosen this theme for this week´s challenge.
And Stamp With Stampavie decided to go with "birds" as their new theme.
My image is by Sugar Nellie. This stamp originally is way bigger since it has a tree with a birdhouse on it as well. But I cut it apart to be able to use it in even more ways. And it is really huge! This time I didn´t use the tree but let this little cutie look up to a swallow that is flying by. This image - and the sentiment - are from the Carte Postale set by Stampin´Up, the flourish are by Autumn Leaves. I really had to use the flower technique I even used on yesterday´s card again but chose smaller hearts for my petals this time to make that flower not too dominant on my card. The papers are from the new "Wild Asparagus" collection by My Minds Eye. I totally fell in love with this papers! The cursiv attached paper was run through my Cuttlebug and I did some sanding on it also.

Just Magnolia challenge # 7 und Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge # 3

Insekten und andere Tiere - so lautet das Thema für die Challenge der 7. Woche von Just Magnolia. Es hätte sich natürlich ein Stempel aus der Chasing Butterflies Collection angeboten, aber ich habe mich für die Tilda mit ihrem kleinen Hündchen entschieden. Dazu konnte ich dann auch endlich mal das Papier mit den Knochen kombinieren, das in einem älteren DCWV Stack enthalten war und schon ewig hier bei mir rumliegt. Gearbeitet habe ich die Karte nach dem Sketch der Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge # 3:

Insects and other animals - that´s the theme for the challenge # 7 at Just Magnolia. Of course a stamp from the Chasing Butterflies Collection would have been perfect for this one, but I decided to use this Tilda with her little doggy. And I also finally was able to use this backgroundpaper with the bones that once was in a DCWV stack and is sitting in my stash for ages now.
