Geburtstagskarte mit Partytieren

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Vor kurzem konnte ich in einem Flohmarkt das Stempelset Party Time von Impronte d'Autore ergattern - auch so ein Set, um das ich schon länger rumgeschlichen war. Bevor es in den Schrank wandern durfte, musste es eingeweiht werden.  Und so ist diese Karte entstanden.

 In a destash group I bought the Party Time stamp set by Impronte d'Autore  - another set I had been eyeing with for quite some time. Before I put it into my storage I had to use it. And that's how this card came to life.

 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück hellgrauen Designpapier mit winzigen kleinen Sternchen. Auf das habe ich mit Distress Ink Salvaged Patina und einem Stencil von MFT einige Strahlen aufgewischt. Da der Hintergrund ja schon recht unruhig ist, habe ich auf Splatters hier mal verzichtet.

 

The background is made from light grey paper with tiny little stars printed on. I used Distress Ink Salvaged Patina and a stencil by MFT to add some rays to it. And since the paper is already pretty busy I skipped the splatters for once.

 

 Maus und Frosch sind aus besagtem Stempelset, aber mir fehlte ein kleines Motiv. Da durfte dann die Schnecke von Purple Onion mit auf die Karte. Ich habe ihr den Luftballon aus dem Party Time Set, den eigentlich ein Hase hält, in den Mund gegeben. Ich habe alle Motive per Masking zusammengestempelt, anschließend mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Ich habe zwar die passenden Outline-Stanzen, bei den zusammengesetzten Motiven konnte ich die aber natürlich nicht verwenden.

Die Geschenke im Hintergrund sind mit der Geschenke-Stanze von Creative Depot gemacht. Ich habe jeweils nur Teile des Geschenkestapels sowie einmal eines der einzelnen Geschenke benutzt. Die Geschenke habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert.

Unter die Motive habe ich dann schwarze Ovale, gemacht mit einer der Oval Shadows von MFT, gesetzt. 

Als ich die Szene dann so betrachtet habe, sah es irgendwie so aus, als würde der Frosch aus lauter Übermut und voller Begeisterung gleich mit dem Fuß unter lautem Hurra auf die Schnecke treten... Das lag definitiv an der Art, wie ich die Motive zusammengesetzt hatte. Aber das einmal so gesehen, konnte ich es nicht mehr übersehen. Also habe ich um den Frosch Konfetti und Luftschlangen, die ich mit der Happy Headlines Stanze von Concord and 9th gemacht habe, aufgeklebt, so als würde er sie werfen. Ich finde, das löst das Problem größtenteils... ;)

 

Mouse and frog are from said stamp set, but I needed a small image. That's where the little snail by Purple Onion came into play. I gave her the balloon from Party Time, that originally is held by a bunny. I stamped the images together using masking tape, then colored them with Copics and cut them out with my scissors. I have the matching outline dies, but after masking them of course I wasn't able to use them anymore.

The presents in the background are made with the Geschenke die by Creative Depot. I used parts of the stack of presents and also one of the individual presents from the set. I cut them all from white cardstock and colored them with Copics again.ö

I put black ovals, made with one of the Oval Shadows by MFT, under the images.

And when I looked at the scene it looked like the little frog was so excited and high spirited, that  he's about to happily step on that snail... I know, it's because of the way how I stamped the images together. But once I had seen/thought that, I wasn't able to unsee it. So I let the frog throw some confetti, that I die cut using a die from Happy Headlines by Concord and 9th. I think, that solves the problem,   partly... ;) 

Für den Text habe ich dann in meinem Vorrat ein Designpapier von MFT gefunden, das mit seinen roten und helltürkisen Streifen fast wie die colorierten Partyhüte der Tierchen aussieht. Ich habe die Buchstaben aus dreimal aus schwarzem Cardstock und einmal aus dem Designpapier gestanzt und die schwarzen Buchstaben leicht versetzt als Schattenlage verwendet. 

Das kleine happy davor ist aus dem Itty Bitty Birthday Set von MFT und direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt.

 

For the text I found some patterned paper by MFT in my stash, that looks kind of like the colored party hats of the critters. I die cut the letters three times from black cardstock and once from the patterned paper and used the black ones as a shadow layer.

The small happy is a stamp from Itty Bitty Birthday by MFT and stamped directly onto the background.

 

 Ich habe die Geschenke direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt, die Partytiere sind mit dünnem 3D Tape hinterlegt. 

Oben um die Motive habe ich noch zwei weitere Texte, wieder aus Itty Bitty Birthday, aufgestempelt und sie dabei an die Rundungen der Motive angepasst. Außerdem habe ich neben die Maus mit der Tröte einige Musiknoten aus Party Time aufgestempelt.

Zum Schluss habe ich mit einem schwarzen Fineliner einen Rahmen aufgemalt und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I glued the presents directly onto the background, the party animals I backed with thin foam tape.

I stamped two more texts, again from Itty Bitty Birthday, next to the images, bending them to match the shape of the images. I also stamped some music notes from Party Time next to the mouse with the blowout.

With a black fineliner I drew a frame around  the scene, then attached the card panel to a white note card.

Anfang April gab es von LawnFawn einen Mini-Sonderstempel und ich habe mich mit einigen anderen zusammengetan, damit die Versandkosten und Co nicht gar so weh tun. Heute zeige ich Euch die erste Karte, die ich mit der kleinen Rasenmäher-Maus gemacht habe.

Beginning of april LawnFawn had a little special stamp set and me and a few others ordered them together so split up shipping and tax costs. Today I am sharing with you the first card I made with the little mower mouse.

 

Für die Karte muss ich ein wenig ausholen. Ich hatte vor Jahren einige kleine Blaubeer-Büsche im Garten gepflanzt. Nicht in einem Beet oder so, sondern in der Wiese - und jedes Mal beim Rasenmähen hat mein Mann es geschafft, sie nierzumähen. Egal, was ich gemacht habe - großräumig schon mal drumrum mähen etc. - er hat es jedes Mal trotzdem geschafft. Irgendwann habe ich neue gekauft - die alten waren wirklich nicht mehr zu retten - und habe sie woanders gepflanzt, und von denen haben die meisten es bisher geschafft, nicht überfahren zu werden.... ;) Aber diese Geschichte hat die Szene auf meiner Karte inspiriert. 

Ich habe hier hellblauen Cardstock für den Himmel benutzt und mit Distress Ink Broken China gewischt. Der Rasen besteht aus grünem Cardstock, den ich mit Mowed Lawn gewischt habe. Anschließend habe ich etwas mit Wasser verdünntes Rustic Wilderness aufgespritzt, auf den Himmel habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe gespritzt.

Über alles kam dann der Leafy Tree Backdrop Portrait, den ich aus braunem Cardstock gestanzt habe.

 

For this card I have to tell you a little story. A few years ago I had planted some small blueberry bushes. Not in a bed or something, just in the grass - and everytime we cut the lawn my husband managed to run over them. No matter, what I tried - even mowing around them in a wide circle - nothing worked, he still cut them. One day I just went an bought new ones - the old ones really weren't there anymore - and planted them in a different area. Most of them are still alive... ;) This is the story that inspired the scene on today's card. 

I used a piece of light blue cardstock for the sky and inked it with Distress Ink Broken China. The lawn is made from a piece of green cardstock that I shaded with Mowed Lawn. Then I splattered some Rustic Wilderness, mixed with a bit of water, onto it. Onto the sky I splattered some white acrylic paint.

On top of everything I placed the Leafy Tree Backdrop Portrait, that I have cut from brown cardstock.

 

 Das Laub des Baums habe ich mit Stanzen aus dem Set Meadow Backdrop Portrait gemacht. Ich habe sie aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt, mit Distress Ink Mowed Lawn und Rustic Wilderness gewischt und ebenfalls Rustic Wilderness aufgespritzt. Die Teile habe ich dann vor und hinter den oberen Teil des Baums geklebt.

Am Himmel war dann auch Platz für meinen Text. Dafür habe ich Stempel aus den Sets I Love you Mower und S'More the Merrier kombiniert und sie weiß auf hellblauen Cardstock embosst. 

Außerdem habe ich dann noch drei kleine Schmetterlinge aus den Sets I Heart Pandas und I Heart Pandas Add-On auf den Himmel geklebt. 

The leaves of the tree I made with dies from Meadow Backdrop Portrait. I cut them from green cardstock, shaded them with Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness and again splattered some Rustic Wilderness on top. Then I adhered the pieces on top and behind the top of the tree.

Onto the sky I also placed my saying. Im combined stamps from I Love you Mower  and S'More the Merrier and white heat embossed them onto light blue cardstock.

I also added three little butterflies from I Heart Pandas and I Heart Pandas Add-On to the sky.

 

 Zwischen Himmel und Gras habe ich den Holzzaun aus dem neuen Set Simply Celebrate Hangouts aufgestellt. Hinter dem haben sich die Mäusekinder versammelt und haben bereits Wetten abgeschlossen, ob der Blaubeer-Busch in der Wiese die Mähaktion überleben wird... Die kleinen Mäuse hinter dem Zaun sind aus dem Set Simply Celebrate Critters. 

Im Hintergrund sieht man Frau Maus fleißig das bereits gemähte Gras zusammen rechen und in die Schubkarre laden. So ganz wahrheitsgetreu ist die Arbeitsaufteilung hier nicht - mein Mann fährt normalerweise auf dem Aufsitzmäher und ich schiebe den "normalen" Mäher. Das Gras lassen wir einfach liegen... Die Maus mit dem Rechen, der kleine Grashaufen - eigentlich ja Erde - und die Schubkarre sind aus dem Set Veggie Happy. Bei dem großen Grashaufen links bin ich fremdgegangen und habe Teil eines Heuhaufens aus dem Set The Whole Herd von MFT benutzt. 

Und vorne ist Herr Maus  mit dem Rasenmäher zu Gange. Man sieht die abgeschnittenen Grashalme nur so rumfliegen. Und er fährt doch recht zielstrebig auf den armen Blaubeer-Busch im Gras zu... Maus, Grasstücke und Rasenmäher sind aus dem Set I Love you Mower. Aus dem sind übrigens auch die Grasstücke, die ich vor dem Zaun sowie im Vordergrund der Karte aufgeklebt habe. Für den Busch im Gras habe ich Stiele aus dem Set Rooting for You mit brauner Tinte direkt auf den grünen Cardstock gestempelt und dann mit Copics einige grüne Punkte als Blätter aufgetupft.

Alle Motive auf der Karte sind mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten.

 

Between the sky and the grass I put up the wooden fence from the new Simply Celebrate Hangouts set. All the mouse kids have  gathered behind the fence, taking bets if the blueberry bush will survive this mowing day... The little mice behind the fence are from Simply Celebrate Critters.

In the background Miss Mouse is raking and piling up the already cut grass, then loading it into the wheelbarrow. Well, this isn't how my husband and I do the mowing - usually he's using the riding mower while I used the "normal" one. The cut off grass we simply leave laying on the ground... The mouse with the rake, the little pile of grass - originally that's soil - and the wheelbarrow are from Veggie Happy. For the large pile of grass on the left I had to use part of a haystack from The Whole Herd by MFT.

And in the front Mister Mouse is mowing. The cut off grass is flying everywhere. And he's moving dangerously in the direction of that little blueberry bush in the meadow...

Mouse, grass pieces and mower are from I Love You Mower. From this set is also the grass that I put in front of the fence and also in the foreground of the scene. For the blueberry bush I stamped some twigs from Rooting For You with brown ink directly onto the green cardstock, then added dots with a green Copic marker as leaves.

All the images are colored with Copics and cut out with my scissors.

 

 Dem Baumstamm habe ich mit Copics etwas Struktur gegeben, außerdem habe ich einen der Stitched Rectangel Frames aus braunem Cardstock gestanzt und als Rahmen um die Szene geklebt.

Beim Zusammensetzen kam natürlich wieder 3D Tape zum Einsatz. Die Flügel der Schmetterlinge habe ich mit Stickles beglittert.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I added some details to the tree trunk and cut one of the Stitched Rectangle Frames from brown cardstock as a frame around my scene.

Of course I used foam tape to put the scene together. The butterflies' wings I glittered with Stickles.

Then I adhered the scene to a white note card.

Für die heutige Karte war nicht etwa das Motiv der Ideengeber - vielmehr war etwas anderes Grund, den Stempel zu kaufen. Und dafür muss ich etwas ausholen:

Meine Mädels haben vor einigen Jahren zusammen auf dem Jahrmarkt ein Lama-Kuscheltier in Regenbogenfarben gewonnen. Da es allen zusammen gehörte und sie längst Teenager waren, saß das Lama dann im ersten Stock im Flur auf einem Schränkchen, so konnte es jeder sehen. Dann kam mein Enkel zur Welt. Als er etwa 4 Monate alt war, hat er das Lama gesehen. Er hat sich danach ausgestreckt und war ihm sofort verfallen - absolut. Wir hatten das Lama - warum auch immer - Drama-Lama getauft. Und der Name ist geblieben. Ebenso die Liebe meines Enkels zu ihm. Inzwischen ist er 4,5 Jahre alt, aber das Drama-Lama ist immer noch eines seiner liebsten Spielzeuge, wenn er bei uns ist. Naja, vielleicht bin ich daran nicht ganz unschuldig, denn ich lasse es immer jede Menge Quatsch machen.... Nun ja, als ich dann das Llamacorn Stempelset von WhimsyStamps gesehen habe, wusste ich, dass ich das haben muss. Und auch wenn die heutige Karte eher weniger kindgerecht ist, ich mache meinem Enkel damit garantiert eine Karte!

For today's card it was not the image, that gave  me the idea, I had a different reason to buy this stamp. And that's what I have to do a bit of storytime to explain:

Many years ago my girls won a rainbow colored llama stuffed animal on a fair. It belonged to all of them and they were all teenagers by then, so we sat it in a family area, where everyone could see it. Then my grandson was born. When he was about four months old, he saw the llama for the first time. He grabbed it and fell in love with it, deeply. We had named the llama "drama llama" - I don't even remember anymore why, but the name stuck. So did the my grandson's love for it. He's 4,5 years old now, but whenever he is over, this llama is one of his favorite toys. Well, I might be blamed for that, at least partly, because I always let the llama all kind of silly things...

When I saw the Llamacorn stamp set by WhimsyStamps I knew I had to have it. And even if today's card is not one for kids, I for sure will make my grandson a card with it!

And since I am talking about that llama so much, here's a picture of it:

 

 Schaut es - von den Flügeln und dem Horn mal abgesehen - nicht genau aus, wie der Stempel? Das Lama wollte übrigens unbedingt die Karte präsentieren, und weil ich kein Drama riskieren wollte, habe ich ihm seinen Willen gelassen... ;)

 

Doesn't this stuffed animal just look like the stamp (except for the wings and horn?). By the way, the llama wanted to show the card and since I didn't want to risk it throwing a fit I let it do that... ;)

 

So, jetzt aber mal zur Karte.

Ich habe eine Karte im Slimline-Format gemacht. Das hat sich so ergeben, denn der Hintergrund ist mit der Slimline Clouds Stanze von WhimsyStamps gemacht. Die habe ich einmal aus weißem und einmal aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und beim schwarzen Stanzteile die Wolken aus dem Rahmen herausgeschnitten.

Die Unterseiten der Wolken des weißen Rahmens habe ich mit Distress Inks Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold, Squeezed  Lemonade, Cracked Pistacchio, Tumbled Glass und Shaded Lilac in Regenbogenfarben eingefärbt.  Dann habe ich die schwarzen Wolken leicht versetzt dahinter und den schwarzen Rahmen obenauf geklebt.

Auf ein weiteres Stück weißen Cardstocks habe ich dann Sterne aus dem Llamacorn Stempelset weiß aufembosst und zwar so, dass sie später zwichen den Wolken zu sehen sind. Die habe ich dann erst mit den selben Distress Inks eingefärbt und anschließend die Bereiche drumherum mit einem dunkelblauen Copic coloriert. Außerdem habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Nun, als ich den Sternenhimmel hinter die Wolken gesetzt habe, war mir das alles zu kräftig und dadurch auch unruhig. Also habe ich dazwischen noch eine Lage Vellum gsetzt, die den Hintergrund abmildert.

 

But now, let's talk about the card.

I made a slimline sized card. That just happened because I used the Slimline Cloud die by WhimsyStamps for the background. I die cut it once from white and once from black carsdtock, then cut the clouds out of the black frame.

I inked the bottoms of the clouds in the white frame in rainbow colors with Distress Ink Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistacchio, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac.  Then I glued the cut out black clouds a bit offset behind the white ones, the black frame I glued on top of the white frame.

I white heat embossed  stars from the Llamacorn stamp set onto another piece of white cardstock, placing them so they will be visible between the clouds later. Then I used the same Distress colors to ink the stars and then filled the area between them with a dark blue Copic marker. I also added splatters of white acrylic paint.

Well, when I put the background behind the clouds, the sky was way too colorful and busy. So I put a layer of vellum between them to tone the background down.

 

 Das Lama habe ich mit Copics coloriert und mich dabei - so gut es ging - am Drama-Lama orientiert. Beim Colorieren habe ich teilweise in kleinen Punkten gearbeitet, so dass das Lama schön flauschig aussieht. Außerdem brauchte es natürlich große braune Augen. 

Anschließend habe ich es per Hand ausgeschnitten.

 

I colored the llamacorn with Copics and used our Drama Llama as inspiration. When coloring the fur I partly worked in little dots to make the llama appear soft and fluffy. And of course it needed some big brown eyes.

Then I cut the image out with my scissors.

 

 Über dem Motiv habe ich den Hauptteil meines Textes aufgeklebt. Dafür habe ich das größere der Poof!s aus dem Poof Word Die Set aus schwarzem und weißem Cardstock gestanzt, das weiße wieder mit Distress Inks schattiert - hier reichten Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade und Tumbled Glass, die übrigen Farben entstehen beim Übereinanderlegen der Farben. Das schwarz gestanzte Wort habe ich als Schattenlage benutzt.

Die übrigen Texte hier sind aus dem Set Bam! You're Old und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

Außerdem habe ich die Sterne aus dem Poof Stanzenset aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, hellblau coloriert und eine Spur vom Zauberstab des Lamas bis über das Wort gelegt.

 

Above the image I adhered the main part of my text. I die cut the larger Poof! from the Poof Word die set from both white and black cardstock. I inked the white word with Distress Inks again - just using Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade and Tumbled Glass was enough, the other colors just appear when overlapping the colors. I used the black die cut as the shadow layer.

The other texts are from Bam! You're Old and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

I also die cut the stars from the Poof Word die set from white cardstock, colored them a light blue and created a trail from the wand to the top right corner of the card with them.

 

 Tja, und irgendwie  scheint das Lama doch ein klein wenig ein schlechtes Gewissen wegen seines Zaubers zu haben - und so entschuldigt es sich ganz unten auf der Karte dafür. Oder will es nur sagen "tut mir echt leid für Dich, dass Du alt bist"? 

Die Texte hier sind aus dem Set Big Boo-Boo und ebenfalls weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Dann habe ich sie mit der Schere ausgeschnitten.

 

Well, and it looks like the llama feels a bit guilty about her spell and so it's apologizing for it at the bottom of the card. Or is "I am really sorry that you're old" what it really wants to say?
The texts here are from Big Boo-Boo and again white heat embossed onto black cardstock. Then I cut them out with my scissors.

 

 Flügel und Horn des Lamas, den Zauberstab, die Zauberspruch-Spur und die Highlights des Wortes Poof! habe ich mit Stickles beglittert. 

Den schwarzen Rahmen habe ich mit dickem, das Lama mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling in Slimline-Format geklebt.

 

I used Stickles to put glitter onto the Llama's wings and horn, the top of the wand, the spell trail and the highlights of the word Poof!.

I adhered the black frame with thick, the llama with thin foam tape.

Then I attached  the card panel to a white card base in a slimline size.

 

Plane and Simple

Der Titel des heutigen Posts ist nicht nur Teil des Textes auf meiner heutigen Karte, es beschreibt sie auch recht gut: es ist ein Flugzeug darauf und sie ist eher einfach gehalten. Und das ist die Karte, die ich eigentlich für die "things with wings" Coloring Club Challenge gemacht hatte, aber einfach nicht fotografiert bekomme. Und nein, die Karte sieht auf den Bildern immer noch nicht aus wie in Wirklichkeit, aber ich gebe auf.

The title of this posts is not just part of the text of today's card, it also sums it up pretty good: there's a plane on it and it's more on the simple side. This is the card I originally made for the "things with wings" Coloring Club Challenge and that I wasn't able to get a good picture of. No, the pictures still don't show the card as it is in real life, but I have given up.

Die Karte im Querformat besteht jeweils aus einer Wolkenborder oben und unten, dazwischen fliegt ein kleiner Hase in seinem Flugzeug über den blauen Himmel und streut dabei jede Menge Herzen.

 

This landscape card has a cloud border at each the bottom and the top, in between a little bunny is flying through the blue sky, leaving a heart trail behind.

 

 Hase und Flugzeug sind aus dem Set High-Flying Adventure von MFT. Ich habe es mit dem No-Line Ink Pad von InkOn3 auf Watercolor Cardstock gestempelt und anschließend mit ZIG Markern coloriert. Für die Highlights habe ich einen weißen Gelstift verwendet, mit dem ich auch die Bewegungslinien um den Propeller aufgemalt habe.

Hinter dem Flugzeug ist der Heart Trail, den ich aus jede Menge kleinen Herzen gemacht habe, die ich erst aus Watercolor Cardstock gestanzt und dann ebenfalls mit ZIG Markern coloriert habe. Dazwischen habe ich noch einige grau-rosa Wölkchen gesetzt. Die sind aus dem Set Plane and Simple von LawnFawn. Die Wolken habe ich außerdem mit einem Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen beglittert.

 

Bunny and plane are from High-Flying Adventure by MFT.  I stamped it onto Watercolor Cardstock with the No-Line ink pad by InkOn3 and colored it in with ZIG markers. For the highlights I used a white gel pen and also drew some motion lines around the propeller with it.

Behind the plane I added a heart trail, that I made from lots of little hearts. I first die cut them from watercolor cardstock, then colored them with my ZIGs, too. Between the hearts I added some grey and pink clouds from Plane and Simple by LawnFawn. I also glittered them with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen.

 

 Damit die Karte dann doch nicht ganz so simple ist, habe ich die Kartenfront aus Acetate gemacht. Ich habe sie an eine Lasche am weißen Cardstock, der die Rückseite der Karte bildet, angeklebt und die Klebestelle dann mit einer der Wolkenbordüren überdeckt. Auch an die untere Kante habe ich Wolken geklebt.

Auf die Folie zwischen die Wolken habe ich dann meine Motive gesetzt. Stellt man die Karte auf, dann scheint das Flugzeug tatsächlich in der Luft zu fliegen.

 

To make this card not too simple I created the card front from acetate. I adhered it to a flap, that I added to the white cardstock that makes the back of the card, then covered the glue with a cloud border. Then I added more clouds at the bottom of the acetate.

Onto the area between the clouds I adhered the images. When you prop the card up the plane really seems to fly in the air.

 

 Auf die untere Wolkenbordüre habe ich dann mit schwarzer Tinte meinen Text gestempelt. Auch der ist aus dem Set Plane and Simple von LawnFawn.

Auf die Kartenrückseite habe ich ein Stück Watercolor Cardstock geklebt, das ich mit blauen ZIG Markern und Wasser etwas streifig hellblau eingefärbt habe. Anschließend habe ich blaue Metallic Watercolor und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

 

Onto the bottom clouds I stamped my text with black ink. It's again from Plane and Simple by LawnFawn. 

Onto the inside of the card I adhered a piece of watercolor, that I had colored a kind of streaky blue using ZIG markers and water. Then I splattered blue metallic watercolor and white acrylic paint onto it.

 

 Die Karte lässt sich ganz flach zusammenklappen - und hier sieht man auch die Folienfront nochmal besser.

 

The card lays completly flat - and here you can also the aceteate again.

Das April-Release von WaffleFlower drehte sich  rund um das Thema Postage und darunter waren auch einige Ergänzungen zu den bisherigen Postage Collage Stanzen. Nun, einiges davon durfte bei mir einziehen, und ganz oben auf der Liste stand die Mini-Postage Collage Stanze. Mein Gott ist die süß! Auch die kam auf dieser Karte zum Einsatz.

The april release by WaffleFlower was all about the postage theme and they had several additions to their already released Postage Collage dies. I ordered some of them and on the very top of my list was the tiny Mini Postage Collage die. OMG, this is so cute! And I used that on this card as well.

 

Ich habe hier die "originale" A2 Postage Collage Stanze aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und dann die Postage Collage Envelope Die hineingestanzt. Die stanzt die Linien für die Briefumschläge samt Herzen auf den Klappen, lässt die Postage Collage Stanzteile aber intakt. 

Mit Distress Ink Bundled Sage und dem Postage Collage Envelope Stencilset habe ich dann die Briefkuverts leicht schattiert. Dabei habe ich bei dem Briefkuvert unten mittig die Rückseite der Lasche gewischt, denn die wollte ich dann aufklappen und etwas in das Kuvert hineinstecken. 

Mit einem grünen Polychromo habe ich dann unter die Laschen und neben die eingestanzten Linien leichte Schatten coloriert. 

 

I die cut the "original" A2 Postage Collage die from white carstock and then cut the Postage Collage Envelope die into it. This one just cuts the lines for the envelopes and hearts, leaving the postage collage itself whole.

I shaded the envelopes with Distress Ink Bundled Sage and the matching Postage Collage Envelope Stencils a soft green. On the envelope in the bottom center I inked the backside of the flap, because I wanted to fold that open and tuck some things into the envelope.

Then I used a green Polychromo to add a shadow under the flaps and the next to the die cut lines.

 

 Wie schon gesagt, wollte ich etwas in einen der Briefkuverts einstecken. Dafür habe ich den Brief und die Blumen aus dem Stanzenset Postage Collage Mini Seals aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Die Blumen habe ich mit Mowed Lawn gewischt, außerdem die Blüte mit Stormy Sky und den oberen Teil der Blume links mit Twisted Citron. Den Brief habe ich mit Tumbled Glass schattiert. 

Aus dem gleichen Set habe ich noch zwei der Siegel gestanzt, mit Stormy Sky gewischt und mit der selben Farbe jeweils ein Herz aus dem Postage Collage Mini Seals Stempelset aufgestempelt.

Und dann kam die schon erwänte Mini Postage Collage Stanze, die sogar mit einer passenden Mini-Stencil kommt, zum Einsatz. Auch die habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, die einzelnen Briefmarken mit Tumbled Glass und Twisted Citron gewischt und anschließend mit Bundled Sage kleine Pflanzen aus dem Mini Seals Set sowie Briefmarkenwerte aus den Sets Postage Collage und Postage Collage Fall aufgestempelt. Die Briefmarken habe ich dann auseinander geschnitten und auf der Karte verteilt aufgeklebt.

Für die Texte habe ich dann das "love" aus dem Set Overlapping Hugs Additions Stempelset weiß auf hellblauen Cardstock embosst und mit der passenden Outline-Stanze ausgestanzt. 

Die übrigen Texte sind aus den Sets Itty Bitty Birthday und Itty Bitty Love Notes von MFT. "Sealed with" ist wieder weiß auf hellblauen Cardsdtock embosst, das "hi there" habe ich mit Stormy Sky auf den Brief gestempelt und ein kleines weißes Herz darunter geklebt.

Nach dem Einstecken der Deko in das Kuvert habe ich die Lasche mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Brief darüber geklebt und auch den oberen Teil des Briefes mit dünnem 3D Tape auf die Lasche geklebt. So erhält das einen tollen 3D Effekt.

 

As I  said already did I plan to tuck something inside one of the envelopes. I die cut the letter and flowers from Postage Collage Mini Seals from white cardstock, then inked the flowers with Mowed Lawn, the blossom of the one on the left with Stormy Sky and the top of the one on the right with Twisted Citron. The letter I shaded with Tumbled Glass.

I also die cut two of the seals from the same set and inked them with Stormy Sky. Using the same ink I stamped a heart from the Postage Collage Mini Seals stamp set onto each seal.

And then I brought in the Mini Postage Collage die, that even comes with a matching mini stencil. I die cut it again from white cardstock, inked the individual stamps  with Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass and then stamped some small plants from Mini Seals onto them using Bundled Sage. I also stamped values onto them using stamps from Postage Collage and Postage Collage Fall. I cut the tiny stamp sheet apart and scattered them onto the background. 

For the texts I white heat embossed the "love" from Overlapping Hugs Additions onto light blue cardstock and cut it out with the matching outline die.

The other texts are from Itty Bitty Birthday and Itty Bitty Love Notes by MFT. The "sealed with" is again white heat embossed onto light blue cardstock, the "hi there" I stamped with Stormy Sky onto the letter and put a little white clay heart under it.

After tucking the decorations into the envelope I adhered  the flap with thin foam tape to the letter above it and also backed the top of the letter with thin faom tape and glued it onto the flap. This adds some dimension.  

Ich habe den kompletten Cardstock mit den Briefumschlägen mit dünnem 3D Tape auf ein Stück grünen Cardstock geklebt. Der ist dannn nicht nur durch die Löcher zwischen den einzelnen Elementen, sondern auch hinter dem offenen Kuvert zu sehen. 

Die kleinen Siegel und den hellblauen Textstreifen habe ich wieder mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt, hinter dem Wort love befinden sich drei weitere Lagen hellblauen Cardstocks. 

Als Deko habe ich dann noch einige kleine hellblaue Perlen aufgeklebt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I backed the complete sheet with the envelopes with thin foam tape and adhered it to a piece of green cardstock. This an not only be seen through the holes between the envelopes but also behind the one with the opened flap.

I adhered the small seals and the light blue text strip with thin foam tape, too, and put three more layers of cardstock behind the cut out word love.

As decoration I added a few light blue pearls and then attached the card panel to a white note card.

 

CaS Weekend Challenge

Zum langen Wochenende hat Christine von Create a Smile zu einer Mitmach-Challenge aufgerufen. Das Thema ist "selbstgemachte Hintergründe zum Thema Wasser". 

Bastelzeit ist bei mir seit einer Woche aus verschiedenen Gründen Mangelware, deswegen ist meine Karte eher einfach ausgefallen. Aber ich habe rechtzeitig eine fertig bekommen.

It's a long weekend here in Germany due to a holiday on thursday and Christine from Create a Smile invited us to join a weekend challenge with the theme of "handmade backgrounds with a water theme". I really don't have much crafting time since about a week, due to different reasons, so my card is quite simply. But at least I managed  to finish it in time.

 

Der Hintergrund ist - wie in der Challenge gefordert - handgemacht. Im unteren Bereich eines Stücks weißen Cardstocks habe ich mit Copics in verschiedenen Blautönen Wasser aufgemalt. Dafür habe ich die Farben einfach etwas streifig aufgetragen und einige Stellen, über denen sich später Seerosenblätter befinden sollten, etwas grün übermalt. 

Nach etwa einem Drittel des Cardstocks habe ich den Copic-Wasserhintergrund in einen mit Distress Ink Tumbled Glass gewischten Himmel übergehen lassen. Nur auf den Himmel habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe und hellrosa farbene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

 

The background is handmade, just as asked for in the challenge. I used different shades of blue Copics to add some water to the bottom of a piece of white cardstock. I simply applied the colors kind of strokey, not blending them completly. In a few areas, where I wanted some lily pads later, I added a bit of a green color.  

After about one third of the cardstock I let the Copic water blend into a sky made with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass. Only onto the sky I added splatters of white acrylic paint and light pink metallic watercolor.

 

 Für die Szene auf meinem Wasser habe ich die Seerosenblätter-Motive aus den Sets Sei Kein Frosch und Springen benutzt und außerdem Rohrkolben aus Steiler Zahn dazwischen gesetzt. Die Motive sind alle ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten.

Die Seerosenblüten sind mit der Tulpen-Stanze aus dem Mini-Release im April gemacht. Dafür habe ich die kleinere der Tulpen sowie jeweils zwei bzw. dreimal das kleine Extra-Blatt aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und hellrosa coloriert. Dann habe ich sie so zusammengesetzt, dass sie wie geöffnete Seerosen bzw. wie Seerosenknospen aussehen. 

Die Blüten habe ich zwischen die Seerosenblätter geklebt und dann alles auf dem Wasser befestigt. Darauf habe ich dann mit einem weißen Gelstift Linien aufgemalt.

 

For the scene on my water I used the lily pad images from Sei Kein Frosch and Springen and also added some cattails from Steiler Zahn inbetween. I colored  the images with Copics as well and cut them out with my scissors.

The water lilies are made using the tulip die from the mini april release. I used the smaller tulip die  and also die cut two or three of the individual petal from white cardstock, then colored them a light pink. I put the flower pieces together, making them look like opened or still closed water lilies.

I put the flowers between the lily pads and then brought in a white gel pen to add some movement to the water.

 

 Der Text ist mit der Summer Vibes Stanze gemacht - das Wort an sich aus weißem Cardstock, die Schattenlageaus Vellum. Auch hinter dem Vellum befindet sich noch ein ausgestanztes Wort, um es ein klein wenig vom Hintergrund anzuheben. 

Am unteren Ende des Textes  habe ich dann noch eine Libelle, ebenfalls aus Steiler Zahn, aufgeklebt.

 

The text ist made using the Summer Vibes die set. I cut the word from white cardstock, the shadow layer from vellum. Also behind the vellum I put one die cut word to bring up the text just a bit.

To the bottom of the text I added a small dragonfly, again from Steiler Zahn.

 

 Auf die Libelle und den gestanzten Text habe ich mit Stickles ein klein wenig Glitzer aufgetragen, auf den Seerosenblättern befinden sich kleine Wassertropfen, die ich mit Glossy Accents gemacht habe.

Hinter den Cardstock mit den Motiven habe ich 3D Tape gesetzt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I used Stickles to add some glitter to the dragonfly and the die cut text. On the lily pads I put little droplets of "water", made from Glossy Accents.

I put foam tape behind the cardstock with the images and adhered it to a white note card.

 

Oster-Goodies Teil 2

Heute zeige ich Euch die zweite Variante meiner Oster-Goodies 2025. Ich hatte diese Kugelschreiber in Karottenform gefunden und ganz spontan für die  Kolleginnen und einige weitere Personen einen gekauft. Und natürlich wollten die dann auch irgendwie verpackt werden.

Today I am sharing with you the other set of easter goodies 2025. I found those carrot shaped pens and bought some for friends and co-workers. And of course they needed a nice packaging.

 

Ein Hase, der die Stifte halten könnte, war tatsächlich das einzige, das esplizit auf meiner Einkaufs-Liste für die Stempelmesse stand. Und dann stehe ich beim Stempellädle an der Kasse und die Dame vor mir hat die Critter Folder von Impronte d'Autore im Korb. Die sind zwar eigentlich für einen Bären bzw. Schneemann, aber sonst waren sie perfekt. Okay, wären - denn das Set im Korb der Dame vor mir war tatsächlich das letzte gewesen.... 

Eigentlich wollte ich mir was anderes einfallen lassen, aber irgendwie gingen mir die Tiere nicht mehr aus dem Kopf und ich habe sie online bestellt. Ergänzt mit ein paar anderen Stanzen wurde daraus dann auch ein Hase, der nun die Möhre - äh, den Stift - in den Armen hält.

 

A bunny I could make hold those pens was actually the only thing I had noted on my shopping list for the stamp fair. And then I was in line to pay at a booth and the lady in front of me had the Critter Folder dies by Impronte d'Autore in her basket. Those are made to make a bear or snowman, but they were perfect otherwise. Well, would have been - the set in this lady's basket was acutally the last one they had...

I wanted to come up with a different idea but wasn't able to forget those critters and ordered them online. Combined with a few dies from other sets I turned them into a bunny, that's holding the carrot - em, pencil - in his arms.

 

 Ich habe den Hasen aus dem Graspapier von Faltkarten gestanzt. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich das Papier benutzt habe und ich bin begeistert. Es ist super glatt, lässt sich prima falten und stanzen und das dezente Muster gefällt mir auch klasse. Ich habe die Teile aus diesem Papier nur ein wenig mit hellbrauner Tinte gewischt.

Die Innenohren und den Bauch habe ich aus hell-lachs farbenem Cardstock gestanzt und ebenfalls ein wenig schattiert. Außerdem habe ich rosa Bäckchen ins Gesicht gewischt.

Das Gesicht und die Ohren sind mit Stanzen aus einem Set von Action gemacht - eigentlich auch ein Hase, der etwas in den Armen halten kann, der passte aber einfach nicht zu den Stiften. Ich habe die Nase mit Glossy Accents überzogen. Die Ohren sind, zugegebenermaßen, ein wenig zu klein, aber ich finde, sie passen trotzdem ganz gut.  

Außerdem habe ich aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock eine Brille gestanzt.

 

I die cut the bunny from grass paper by Faltkarten. It's the first time I used this cardstock and I am in love. It's super smooth, easy to die cut or fold and the soft "pattern" is beautiful. I just very lightly inked the pieces cut from that paper with light brown ink.

The inner ears and the belly I cut from light salmon cardstock and also shaded them a bit with ink. I also added some light pink cheeks to the face.

The face and ears are made using dies by Action - it's actually a die set, that also cuts a bunny that can hold something. But it just didn't work for the pens. I covered the nose with Glossy Accents. I have to admit, that the ears are a  bit small, but I think, they still work.

I also die cut some glasses from matte silver cardstock.

 

 Die Critter Folder sind eigentlich kleine Einstecktaschen, das halbrunde Gesicht eine Lasche zum Verschließen. Da ich hier keine Einstecktasche brauchte, habe ich das Gesicht am unteren Ende mit etwas 3D Tape auf den Körper geklebt.

Mit einem Glue Dot habe ich den Stift am Körper fixiert und dann die Arme überlappend über dem Stift zusammengeklebt.

 

The Critter Folders are actually little envelopes/pockets, the face a flap to close it. Since I didn't need the pocket here I put some thick foam tape behind the bottom of the face and glued it to the body.

I used a glue dot to tape the pen to the body and then glued the arms together on top of the pen, overlapping them slightly.

 

 Am Karottengrün habe ich dann noch einen Tag mit einem Ostergruß befestigt. 

Der Tag ist mit einer Stanze von Magnolia gemacht - ich habe einen weißen und einen lachsfarbenen Tag leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt.

Auf den weißen Tag habe ich zuvor mit Versafine Clair Grass Green den Text "möhrchenhafte Ostern" aus dem gleichnamigen Set von Stampcorner aufgestempelt und dem Wort Ostern einige schwarze Linien als Schatten angemalt. 

Auf dem Tag und auch über dem Bauch des Hasen habe ich jeweils ein kleines rotes Herz aufgeklebt, dann habe ich den Tag mit weißem Twine an den Stift gebunden.

 

I tied a tag with an easter greeting to the carrot.

The tag is made using a die by Magnolia - I stacked a white and a salmon colored tag a bit offset. 

Onto the  white tag I stamped an easter greeting, that's actually a pun saying carrot-y but sounding like wonderful (and that's a very rough translation), using Versafine Clair Grass Green. I added  some shadow lines to the word easter.

Onto the tag and also above the bunny's belly I adhered a small red clay heart, then tied  the tag to the pen.

 

Oster-Goodies Teil 1

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Ja, ich weiß, Ostern war vor zwei Wochen. Aber ich hinke einfach hinterher mit dem Zeigen. Und vorenthalten möchte ich Euch meine Oster-Goodies dann auch nicht. 

Normalerweise gibt es bei uns am Ostersonntag immer einen großen Familien-Osternbrunch. Aus verschiedenen Gründen ist der dieses Jahr ausgefallen. Aber zumindest einen kleinen Oster-Kaffee mit Eiersuche für den Enkel haben wir mit dem Teil der Familie gemacht, der nicht gerade irgendwo im Ausland unterwegs war. Und da ich immer ein kleines Goodie für jeden auf den Ostertisch stelle, gab es diesmal eben nachmittags kleine Tüten im Osterlook.

I know, easter was two weeks ago. But I am just behind with sharing all my cretaions. But I don't want to keep this year's easter goodies from you.

Usually on easter sunday there's always a large family brunch  at our house. We canceled that this year for various reasons. But in the afternoon we had some coffee and cake - and a egg hunt for my grandson - with those that weren't traveling somewhere. At our brunch I always put a little goodie for everyone on the table so I also made some small gift bags in an easter look for said afternoon gathering.

 

 Anfang April war ich auf der Stempelmesse Süd und natürlich konnte ich am Stand von Farbton nicht vorbei. Dort habe ich unter anderem die Stanze für diese Tüte erstanden. Es ist die Kleine Tüte mit Rückwand, wobei ich die von der Größe her genau richtig finde. Und natürlich durfte auch das ein oder andere Textset für das Fenster mit.... Hier habe ich das Zusatzset Schriftstanzen Frühling benutzt.

Die Tüten habe ich aus lacksfarbenem Cardstock mit Leinenstruktur gestanzt. Hinter den vorderen Teil der Verschluss-Lasche habe ich weißen Cardstock gesetzt, die untere Kante habe ich mit einer Scalloped Border Stanze ausgestanzt. Ich fand die farbliche Absetzung hier ganz schön, außerdem habe ich zwischen Lasche und weißem Cardstock einen der Magneten versteckt, die ich zum Verschließen in die Tasche mit eingebaut habe. Der andere Magnet ist im Inneren der Tasche untergebracht.

Oben an die Lasche habe ich noch einen winzigen Ostergruß angebracht. Der Text ist mit einem Stempel aus dem Set Kleine Sprüche von Create a Smile gemacht und weiß auf hellblauen Cardstock embosst. Den habe ich dann mit der Schere zu einem kleinen Banner geschnitten und mit zwei grün-irisierenden Perlen dekoriert. 

 

Beginning of april I visited a stamp fair near Stuttgart and I just had to shop at the booth of Farbton. One of the things I got was this "small" bag. It's the smaller version but I think it's just the right size. I also bought several die sets with texts, that fit inside the window. Here I used the spring one.

I die cut the bags from salmon colored cardstock with a linnen structure. I put some white cardstock behind the front of the flap, using a scalloped border punch to decorate the bottom edge. I liked that white to break up all the salmon here, but I also needed it to hide one of the magnets, that I added to hold the bag closed, between the two cardstock sheets. The other magnet I glued inside the bag.

I added a tiny easter greeting to the flap. The text means "happy easter" and is white heat embossed onto light aqua cardstock. I cut it onto a little banner using my scissors and added two green iridescent pearls as decoration.

 

 Das Fenster in der Taschenfront ist mit einer Art zurückversetztem Schaukasten versehen - super für Deko.

Ich habe die Worte "Hasen" und "Post" aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und an den Rand des Fensters geklebt. An das T von Post habe ich einen kleine Schleife aus weiß und türkis gestreiftem Twine angebunden.

Den Schaukasten habe ich aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Gras sowie Hasenohren versehen. Auch die sind eine Errungenschaft der Stempelmesse und sind von Steckenpferdchen. Ich habe die Ohren aus weißem, die inneren Teile der Ohren aus lachsfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt.  Die habe ich dann mit Copics ein wenig schattiert. Eigentlich wollte ich die Hasenohren am O und S des Worts Post anbringen, aber dann habe ich mich umentschieden.

Außerdem habe ich aus grünem Cardstock etwas Gras gestanzt, mit Distress Ink Mowed Lawn von unten gewischt und dann Ohren und Gas mit dünnem bzw. dickem 3D Tape in den Schaukasten geklebt. Darüber war dann Platz für zwei kleine rosafarbene Herzen. 

Ich habe den dekorierten Schaukasten hinter den Ausschnitt in der Tüte geklebt und dann um das Fenster herum noch einen hellblauen Rahmen angebracht. Der ist mit der Square Thin Frames Stanze von HoneyBeeStamps gemacht.

 

There's some kind of showcase behind the window in the front of the bag - great for decorations.

I die cut the words "bunny" and "mail" from white cardstock and glued them along the edge of the window. I tied a little bow from white and aqua twine round the T of "post/mail". 

The showcase I cut from light aqua cardstock and decorated it with some grass and bunny ears.  Those are a die by Steckenpferdchen, that I also bought at said stamp fair. I die cut the ears from white, the inner ears from salmon colored cardstock, then shaded just the inner ears with Copics. I originally had planned to adhered  the ears to the O and S of the word "post", but then changed my mind.

I also die cut some grass from green cardstock and shaded it lightly with Distress Ink Mowed Lawn. I adhered the ears and grass with thin and thick foam tape inside the showcase and added two pink clay hearts above the ears.

I glued the decorated showcase behind the window to the bag and then added a frame cut from light aqua cardstock. I used the Square Thin Frames by HoneyBeeStamps for it.

 

 Hier sieht man die Tiefe des Schaukastens nochmal - und ich habe da so viele Ideen. Und wenn ich zeitlich nicht ein wenig knapp dran gewesen wäre, hätte ich bestimmt einen Shaker aus dem Fenster mit den Hasenohren gemacht.... Aber das  mache ich dann eben bei der nächsten Tüte.

 

Here you can see the depth of the showcase - and I have so many ideas for it. If I had decided a bit earlier to make those goodie bags, then I would have turned this showcase with the bunny ears into a shaker... But I will do so on my next bag then.

 

Ein besonderer Geldschein

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

 Heute habe ich einen Geldschein, der nicht wirklich als Zahlungsmittel akzeptiert werden wird. Dafür ist er ganz besonders und auch ziemlich groß.

Today I have  a bill, that no one will accept if you try to pay with it. But it's very special and also quite large.  

Er ist mit dem A Million Dollars Stempel von WhimsyStamps gemacht. Ich habe ihn grün auf cremefarbenen Cardstock gestempelt und nur das "1,000,000" nochmal mit grauer Tinte überstempelt. 

Zusammen mit dem Stempel kommt eine Stanze, die das ovale Fenster in der Mitte des Geldscheines passgenau ausstanzt. Das habe ich hier auch getan. Und durch das Fenster kann man dann schon sehen, dass sich da noch etwas hinter dem Motiv versteckt.

 

I made this using the A Million Dollars stamp by WhimsyStamps. I stamped it with green ink onto cream colored cardstock and then stamped the "1,000,000" again on top with grey ink.

With the stamp comes a die, that cuts the oval window in the center of the bill exactly. I did that here. And through the window you can see already, that there's a bit more behind the image.

 

 Was man da durch das Fenster hindurch sieht, ist ein echter Geldschein, für den diese Karte eine Verpackung ist. Und die 100 Euro passen farblich so toll... ;)

Für das Geldfach habe ich den gestempelten Geldschein ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Tape an der unteren langen und den beiden kurzen Seiten auf einen etwas größeren Kartenrohling aus cremefarbenem Cardstock geklebt. Die Karte hat dann ein DinLang Format.

 

What you can see through the window is a real bill, and this card is actually made to give away some money. And those 100 Euros really go great with the colors... ;)
For the place to put the money in I cut out the stamped bill and used foam tape at the bottom and both sides, adhering it to a cream card base. I cut that slightly larger than the cut out bill and it's now a slimline sized card.

 

 Damit die Karte auch nach dem Herausnehmen noch gut aussieht, habe ich den Bereich hinter dem Fenster auf dem Kartenrohling grün gewischt und dann ein großes Dollar-Zeichen mit grauer Tinte daraufgestempelt. Das ist aus dem Set A Million Wishes. 

Aus diesem Set sind auch die beiden Texte, die ich auf meinem Geldschein versteckt habe. Beide sind mit weißem Embossingpulver auf dunkelgrauen Cardstock embosst. Den Text "a million wishes" habe ich dabei in zwei Teile geschnitten und ober- und unterhalb des 1,000,000 aufgeklebt.

 

To make sure the card still looks nice, even when the money has been taken out, I inked the area behind the window with green ink and stamped a large dollar sign with grey ink onto it. This is from A Million Wishes.

From the same set are also the texts I glued onto the bill. I white heat embossed them onto dark grey cardstock. The text "a million wishes" I cut apart and glued the parts above and uner the 1,000,000. 

 

 Und weil so eine Karte ganz ohne Motiv doch irgendwie nackt wirkt, habe ich hier noch eines ebenfalls aus A Million Wishes aufgeklebt. Eigentlich sind es sogar zwei - ich konnte mich nicht entscheiden und auf der Karte war ja genug Platz für beide. Der dicke "Millionär" mit den kleinen Geldsäcken ist ein Motiv, die anderen Elemente sind ein anderes Motiv aus dem Set. Eigentlich hängen der große Geldsack und der Goldbarren samt Münzen zusammen. Ich habe sie nach dem Colorieren auseinander geschnitten und rechts und links neben dem anderen Motiv angebracht. Das so entstandene Loch im großen Geldsack habe ich dabei durch die kleineren Geldsäcke verdeckt.

Die Motive sind mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten.

 

And because a card without any images looks kind of plain I added one, also from A Million Wishes. Actually, these are two images - I just couldn't decide which one to use and there was plenty of room for both on this card. The fat "millionaire" with the small sacks is one image, the other images are another image of the set. The large sack and the bar of gold with the coin stack are one image that I cut apart and placed to the left and right of the other one. The hole in the large sack, that resulted  in cutting out the bar of gold, I simply have hidden behind the smaller sacks.

I colored the images with Copics and cut them out with my scissors.

 

 Ich habe die Texte sowie die Teile des zerschnittenen Motivs mit dünnem, den dicken Mann samt den kleinen Geldsäcken mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt.

 

I put thin foam tape behind the texts and the pieces of the cut apart image, the thick man and small sacks I adhered with thick foam tape.
