Auch wenn wir alle uns nach dem Frühling sehnen - offiziell ist immer noch Winter. Und darum darf ich bestimmt auch noch diese Winterkarte zeigen, die ich heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog zeige.

Even if we're all ready for spring - officially it's still winter. And so I guess you're not angry with me for sharing this winter card that I made for the Stamping-Fairies Blog.
Die Grundidee der Karte ist abgekupfert. Ulla Müller hat auf Facebook eine Karte in dieser Art gezeigt und ich war sofort verliebt. Musst Du auch probieren, war mein erster Gedanke. Und das ist nun meine abgeänderte Variante.
Der Hintergrund ist mit Distress Ink Weathered Wood und Broken China auf Watercolor Paper gemacht. Ich werde das mit diesen tollen Wasserfarbhintergründen wohl nie so richtig hinbekommen - und was macht Ihr, damit sich Euer Papier nicht wellt?!?! - aber die Grundstimmung eines nebligen Wintertages dürfte getroffen sein.
Dann habe ich mir eine Schablone aus Overheadfolie gemacht und mit weißer Strukturpaste die Schneeflocken aufgebracht.

The background has been made using Distress Ink Weathered Wood and Broken China on watercolor paper. I don't think I will ever get those watercolor backgrounds the way all of you seem to do but the base mood of a foggy winter's day's sky should be right.
Then I made myself a stencil using thin transparency and used white structure paste to create the snowflakes.

Den Vogel aus dem Bird Feather Stempelset von Stampers Anonymous habe ich ebenfalls mit Distress Ink - Weathered Wood, Fired Brick und Rusty Hinge - ein wenig eingefärbt und dann auf die Karte gesetzt. Ich wollte keine detailierte und realistische Coloration, einfach etwas Farbe auf dem Tierchen. Darunter sind etwas Cheesecloth, ein paar ausgestanzte Äste sowie zwei rote Beeren und ein paar glitzernd weiße Schnee"bälle".

Für das Textbanner habe ich wieder das Well Connected Alphabet von MFT verwendet. Die Buchstaben sind auf Vellum gestempelt und mit weißem Embossingpulver embosst. Darunter konnte ich gut ein paar Stückchen 3D Tape verstecken um das Banner auf der Karte zu befestigen.
For the text I used the Well Connected Alphabet by MFT once again. The letters got stamped on Vellum and then heat embossed using white embossing powder. Underneath those letters I was able to hide a few pieces of 3D tape to attach the banner to my card.
