Wie schon öfter in letzter Zeit, habe ich ich mit einigen Dingen, die ich gerade erst verwendet habe, gleich noch eine zweite Karte gewerkelt. Die Erdbeerstanzen von LawnFawn lagen noch von meiner letzten Karte auf dem Tisch. Und damit wollte ich gleich noch etwas anderes ausprobieren. Das Ergebnis seht Ihr hier.

As it happened several times during the last months I made another card with items I had just used. Those strawberry dies by LawnFawn were still on my table from the last card I made and I really wanted to try something out with them. The result is this card that I'm sharing with you today.
Ich versuche, meine Kontrollsucht beim Basteln ein wenig zu unterdrücken und Farben etc. auch mal "ihren Willen" zu lassen. Und immer öfter gefällt mir das Ergebnis.
Hier habe ich für den Hintergrund erst einen pinkfarbenen ZIG-Marker mittig auf etwas Watercolor Cardstock gemalt und dann Wasser darüber gespritzt. Dann durfte die Farbe erstmal laufen, wohin sie wollte. Naja, so ganz unkontrolliert ging es dann doch nicht und ich habe noch an einigen Stellen nachgebessert.
Mit einem Strahlenstencil von MFT und Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo habe ich dann pinkfarbene Strahlen auf die getrocknete Watercolor gewischt und sie zum Rand des Cardstocks hin auslaufen lassen. Dann habe ich auch noch weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
I am trying to let go of my need to control everything when it comes to crafting and let colors etc. "have their way" every now and then. And more often than not I like the result.
Here I scribbled some color with a pink ZIG marker onto a piece of watercolor and spritzed water on top. Then I let the color run where it wanted. Well, it didn't work completly without controlling and so I added more color in a few areas, repeating the steps.
With a ray stencil by MFT and Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo I added some pink rays on top of the dried watercolor, letting them fade out toward the edges of the cardstock. Then I also flicked some white acrylic paint on top.
Die Erdbeeren, Blätter und Blüten auf meiner Karte habe ich auf ähnliche Weise coloriert. Dafür habe ich sie aus Watercolor Cardstock gestanzt und dann dann zuerst die Erdbeern "coloriert". Ich habe einen roten Marker verwendet, um nur einen Teil der Erdbeeren einzufärben, dann habe ich Wasser aufgespritzt. So verläuft die Farbe von selbst, ein Teil der Erdbeeren blieb weiß. Den habe ich dann mit ein wenig hellgrüner Farbe eingefärbt und ebenfalls bespritzt bzw. teilsweise mit einem dünnen Pinsel vermalt.
Das Erdbeergrün habe ich ebenso eingefärbt, allerdings habe ich hier viel mehr Farbe benutzt.
Und für die Blätter habe ich einen eher bläulichen Grünton verwendet und es erst mit Ink Smooshing probiert. Das hat mir dann nicht so gut gefallen und ich habe wieder nachgebessert.
Die Blüten habe ich weiß gelassen, nur die Blütenmitten sind gelb eingefärbt.
Und den Cardstock, der sich hinter den Erdbeeren befindet und der durch die ausgestanzten Löcher sichtbar ist und somit die Samen bildet, habe ich mit einem hellen gelblich-grünen Marker eingefärbt.
The strawberries, leaves and blossoms on my card I did color in a similar way. I die cut them from watercolor cardstock and then started "coloring" the strawberries first. I used a red marker to only color a part of the berries, then spritzed water onto them. The color spreads over the cardstock, but part of each strawberry stayed white. There I added a thin line along the edge with a light green marker and then spritzed more water on top - or used a fine brush to spread the color.
The strawberry green I did the same way, just using way more color.
And for the vines I picked a blue-ish green marker and tried ink smooshing first. But I didn't like that and so I added more color directly to the die cuts until I was happy with them.
The blossoms I left white and only colored the centers yellow.
And the cardstock behind the berries, that can be seen through the cut outs and creates the seeds, I colored in with a yellow-ish green marker.
Die Erdbeeren, Blätter und Blüten habe ich dann alle auf dem Hintergrund verteilt.
Und für den Text habe ich mich für ein einfaches "you're sweet" entschieden, gemacht aus einem Mix aus Stempeln und Stanze.
Das You're ist Teil eines Stempels aus dem Occasional Labels Set von MamaElephant und mit Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo gestempelt.
Das Sweet ist mit einer Stanze von MFT aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, den ich dann ebenfalls mit Kitsch Flamingo eingefärbt habe. Dabei habe ich ganz einfach das Kissen direkt über den Cardstock gezogen. Ich habe drei Lagen, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, hinter das rosafarbene Wort geklebt. Und dann habe ich den oberen Teil der Buchstaben noch mit Distress Glitter Rock Candy überzogen, so dass es wie gezuckert aussieht.

And for the text I went with a "you're sweet", made from a mix of stamps and dies.
The "you're" is part of a stamp from the Occasional Labels set by MamaElephant. I stamped it with Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo.
The "sweet" is made with a die by MFT. I die cut it from white cardstock and then inked the word with Kitsch Flamingo by simply swiping the ink pad directly over the cardstock. I put three white die cuts behind the pink word and then covered the top of each letter with some Distress Glitter Rock Candy to make them look like they are covered with sugar.
Da ich hier ziemlich viele Lagen an Früchten etc. aufeinander geklebt habe, habe ich auf 3D Tape verzichtet. Nur hinter dem gestempelten Text befindet sich ein kleines Stückchen davon - das gestanzte Wort ist ja hinterlegt und somit sowieso erhöht.
Als Deko habe ich ein paar klare Pailetten aufgeklebt, dann den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
Since I have several layers from all those berries etc I didn't use any foam tape. Only behind the stamped word I put a tiny piece of it - the die cut word is stacked and already raised.
I added a few clear sequins as decoration, then matted the card panel black and adhered it to a white note card.
