Schönen Donnerstag! Etwas spät, aber besser als gar nicht zeige ich Euch die heutige Karte. Sie ist nach dem Sketch von Lili of the Valley entstanden (dem ich eine extra Lage papier gegönnt habe):

Die Farben sind die neue Vorgabe bei PaperPlay: blau, creme und eine zusätzliche Farbe Deiner Wahl. In meinem Fall braun.

The colors are the new dare by PaperPlay: blue, cream and one additional color of your choice. I went with brown as the third one.

Und bei Digi Doodle Shop heißt es diesmal "anything goes" - es ist also alles erlaubt.

Das Motiv auf meiner Karte ist ein weiteres der süßen Lili of the Valley Weihnachtsmotive - ich finde sie einfach wunderbar! Die Ränder um das Motiv sowie die Röschen haben eine Lage glitzerndes Embossinpulver bekommen, um den Effekt von Eiskristallen zu imitieren. Alle anderen Ränder sind mit weißer Crackle Paint überzogen. Die Papiere sind quer Beet aus meinem Vorrat.

The image on my card is another one of the cute new christmas images by Lili of the Valley. I just love them! The edges around the image and also the roses got a layer of glittering embossing powder to imitate the look of ice. All the other edges are covered with white Crackle Paint. Papers are all different brands from my stash.

Zu guter Letzt ist da noch die Challenge bei Anything Goes, wo das Thema diesmal "Stars" lautet.

Ich habe hier "Eric" von The Greeting Farm verwendet. Der Text ist von Stampin´Up, die Knöpfe sind mit einer Sternstanze selbst gemacht. Passend zur Hose habe ich außerdem ein paar Sicherheitsnadeln eingebaut.

Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft. Und nein, Ihr habt Euch nicht in der Jahreszeit geirrt...! Wir haben das Thema "cats and dogs" - und da ich keine "Nur-Tiere-Stempel" habe und gerade dieser süße Stempel von Lili of the Valley in meinem Briefkasten lag dachte ich mir, ich mache auch mal eine Christmas In July Karte...

It´s time for another challenge over at Cupcake Craft. And no, you didn´t mix up the seasons...! We have the theme of "cats and dogs" for you - and since I don´t own any "animaly only stamps" and just recieved this cute stamp by Lili of the Valley in my mailbox I thought I´d make a christmas in july card...

Und hier bin ich nochmal - denn natürlich gibt es auch bei Belles´n´Whistles eine neue Challenge! Diesmal mit dem tollen Thema "Distressing".

Ich habe "A Child´s Prayer" aus der neuen "Forever Young Collection" verwendet. Die Kanten habe ich sowohl mit Distress Ink als auch mit dem Edge Distresser bearbeitet. Außerdem habe ich einige der Papiere mit Sandpapier abgeschliffen.

Bei Timbroscrapmania heißt es diesmal "love is...". Der Spruch hat mir dazu sehr gefallen, genauso wie das kleine Herz oben rechts. Und den Stempel "Uru mit Vogel" habe ich ohne Vogel und Ilex am Hut gestempelt und mit dem Stift bzw. kleinen Herz-Stempel von Stampin´Up entsprechend abgeändert.

At Timbroscrapmania the new theme is "love is...". I loved this saying for the theme and also the little heart on the top right. I removed the ink from the bird and leaves before stamping "Uru with bird" and added the heart with a pen and a tiny heart stamp by Stampin´Up.

Everything goes at Stampavie and More this week - so grab whatever you want. Und dann ist da noch Simon, dem es bei der Hitze nach Früchten ist... Die heutige Karte paßt zur neuen Challenge von Lovely Hänglar Only: "Glitter". Ich habe auf das Shirt der süßen Hänglar eine Blume gestempelt und sie mit Glitzer überzogen. Außerdem habe ich die komplette Karte - bis auf das Motiv - mit Glimmer Mist überzogen. Auf dem Bild kann man das leider nur an ein paar Stellen erkennen.

Today´s card is fitting the new challenge over at Lovely Hänglar Only: glitter. I stamped that little flower on that cute Hanlar´s shirt and covered it with glitter. I also covered the whole card - except the image - with Glimmer Mist. There are a few spots you can see that on the photo.

Bei Stempelträume heißt es "grün und zwei weitere Farben" - ich habe mich für braun und rosa entschieden.

At Stempelträume they want us to use green plus two additional colors - I decided to go with brown and pink.

Leider hat das Glimmer Mist die Schrift auf dem Text-Stempel von Stampin´Up verschwimmen lassen, so daß ich es mit der Hand nochmal nachmalen mußte...

Unfortunately the Glimmer Mist made the text (by Stampin´Up) fading so I had to re-draw it by hand....

Cupcake Craft # 99

Einen schönen Montag wünsche ich allen! Neuer Montag, neue Woche und natürlich eine neue Woche bei Cupcake Craft. Diesmal möchte wir, daß Ihr Acetate (durchsichtige Folie) auf Eurer Karte verwendet.

Happy monday to all of you! A new monday, a new week and of course also a new challenge over at Cupcake Craft. This week we want you to use Acetate.

Ich habe die hintere Hälfte sowie den linken Rand der Vorderseite aus Cardstock gemacht, für den Rest der Vorderseite habe ich ein Stück starke Windradfolie verwendet. Den Rand habe ich mit dem weißen Craft Ink Pad von Stampin´Up bestempelt.

I used cardstock for the back and the left edge of the front of the card. The rest was made using a piece of acetate that I stamped on using the white Craft Ink Pad by Stampin´Up.

Da man durch das Acetat ja hindurchsehen kann, habe ich auch die Inneseite gestaltet, um den Kleber zu verdecken. Ich habe genau an den Stellen, an denen auch die Front beklebt ist, auch die Rückseite der Folie beklebt. Außerdem habe ich einen Spruch angebracht. Auf der rechten Seite muß man darauf achten, daß auch diese Papiere durch die Folie zu sehen sind. Auf dem hellen Papier ist genug Platz zum Schreiben.

Since you can see through the actetate I also decorated the inside, mostly to cover the glue that can be seen. I put some papers on exactly the same areas where it is attached to the front. I also added a little sentiment. On the right side you have to think of that these papers will be seen also when the card is closed. On the white paper there´s enough room for some nice words.

Schönen Sonntag Euch allen! Es ist schon wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under - und diesmal möchten wir bitte Karten für Jungs bzw. Männer sehen.

Happy sunday to all of you! It´s time for another challenge over at Magnolia Down Under - and this week we want to see cards for boys - or even men if you want to.

Der Sohn von Freunden ist vor kurzem 6 geworden und steht total auf Bogenschießen. Und nicht nur das - er schießt seit einiger Zeit selbst. Als ich "Sherwood Edwin" von Magnolia gesehen habe, war mir klar, daß das das perfekte Motiv für eine Geburtstagskarte ist.

Our friend´s son turned 6 short time ago and he´s deeply into bow shooting. But not only this - he even started shooting some time ago. So when I saw "Sherwood Edwin" I knew this would be the perfect image for his birthday card.

Ich habe Edwin mit Distress Inks coloriert und alles in Grüntönen gehalten - auch die Papiere und die Embellishments. Der silberne Hirsch-Charm ist natürlich auch ideal und den Text habe ich am Computer geschrieben. Es wird noch bißchen dauern, bis er sie kriegt aber ich bin mir sicher sie wird ihm gefallen!

I colored Edwin with Distress Inks and used mainly greens - also the papers and embellishments have this color. The silver deer charm was perfect to go with the image - and the saying is computer generated. He will get this card in august when we go to visit them but I am sure he´s going to like it.

Da die aktuelle Challenge bei Alphabet Challenge "K for Kids" heißt, paßt die Karte dort super.

Bei Charisma Cardz heißt es diesmal "Watch The Birdie" - darum habe ich die Tilda mit den kleinen Vögelchen auf dem Schoß aus einer der Osterkollektionen verwendet und sie in den Vogelkäfig von Tim Holtz gesetzt.

At Charisma Cardz the new theme is "watch the birdie". So I picked this cute Tilda with the baby birds from one of the easter collections and sat her in the bird cage by Tim Holtz.

Bei Hanna and Friends heißt es diesmal "unused stamps", also Stempel, die wir zwar gekauft aber noch nie benutzt haben. Nun, ich bin sicher es gibt noch ältere solcher Stempel hier bei mir, aber die kleine Süße hier hat sich so lautstark gemeldet....

Wunderschönen Mittwoch - Zeit für eine neue Karte! Und diese ist aus einem besonderen Grund entstanden. Michelle - allen von Euch mit Sicherheit ein Begriff mit ihren tollen Karten - hatte einen Unfall und dabei eines ihrer Augen verloren. Bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar gibt es daher nun die Kick It For Michelle Challenge. Es sollen so viele Karten wie nur irgend möglich den Weg in ihren Briefkasten finden. Auch meine Karte wird morgen früh den Weg zur Post finden.

Ich bin ja im Elternbeirat unserer Schule tätig - und ich wurde auserwählt, die Karten für die Lehrer-Geburtstage zu machen, zu jedem runden Geburtstag gibt es ein Geschenk. Dieses Jahr standen davon so einige an und eigentlich freue ich mich ja, daß ich die Karten machen darf. Aber warum waren es bloß (fast) nur männliche Lehrer!? Mit dieser Karte habe ich mich ausnahmsweise nicht allzu schwer getan.
Verwendet habe ich den neuen Sketch von Everybody Art:

I am a member of the parent´s council at my girl´s school - and I have been choosen to make all the birthday cards for the teachers which they get for a round birthday. This year there quite many of them and I am really happy to do the cards but I am asking myself why there were so many males and only one female I had to do the cards for!? Well, at least it wasn´t too hard to make this card.

Ich habe "Sitting Wedding Edwin" aus der Magnolia Wedding Collection verwendet - er schaut so schön feierlich und trotzdem nicht overdressed aus, mit seinen bloßen Füßen. Ich habe ihn auf den Zaun aus der Osterkollektion gesetzt.
Die Buchstaben sind mit einem Sizzix Die geschnitten, die Zahlen mit der Cricut.

I used "Sitting Wedding Edwin" from Magnolia´s Wedding Collection - he looks very festive but not overdressed with his bare feets. I sat him on the fence from the Easter Collection.
Letters are cut using a Sizzix Die, numbers were made using the Cricut.

Schönen Dienstag! Heute ist es ein bißchen kühler draußen... wie gut das zwischendurch mal tut! Aber Ihr seid bestimmt nicht hier, um den Wetterbericht zu lesen. Darum auf zur heutigen Karte. Sie ist nach dem Sketch vom Sugar Bowl entstanden:

Happy tuesday! The weather finally cooled down a little bit, at least for today. Oh, this feels so good - if it isn´t lasting too long. But I am sure you didn´t come here to read about the weather. So, on to today´s card. I made it using the sketch from the Sugar Bowl:


Die Farben sind die Vorgabe beim Color Throwdown: creme, schokoladenbraun und türkis.

Bei der Alphabet Challenge ist diese Woch das J dran - und das steht für "jewels", also glitzernde Juwelen.

At Alphabet Challenge the J is the letter of the week - and it stands for those pretty sparkling jewels.

Es gibt einen neuen Challenge-Blog: A Pocket Full Of Posies. Grundaufgabe ist es, etwas blumiges auf den Karten zu verwenden. Und die erste Challenge lautet "one for the girls" - also eine Mädchenkarte.

There is a new challenge blog: A Pocket Full Of Posies. In general you have to use something flower related on your project. And the first challenge is called "one for the girls".

Und bei Stamptacular Sunday lautet die Aufgabe "aperture card" - also eine Karte mit einer Öffnung (blöde Übersetzung, ich weiß). Ich habe ein Fenster in die Front geschnitten und das Motiv auf die Innenseite gesetzt - so sieht die Karte geöffnet aus:

Das Motiv ist von Sugar Nellie, coloriert mit Copics. Die Papiere sind einmal quer Beet durch alle Hersteller, ebenso die Punches, die ich für die Deko verwendet habe.

Belles´n´Whistles Challenge # 6

Und hier bin ich nochmal - mit der neuen Challenge bei Belles´n´Whistles. Das Thema diesmal lautet "Glitter and Pearls". Und dafür mußte ich einfach die süße Prinzessin hier verwenden. Der Stempel heißt "Princess Tales"... Und Perlen und Glitter sind etwas, das jede Prinzessin braucht!

Here I am again - with the new challenge from Belles´n´Whistles. This week´s theme is called "glitter and pearls". I just had to use this cute little princess for it. The stamp is called "Princess Tales". And pearls and glitter are one of the most important things a princess needs to have!

Bei Charisma Cardz heißt es momentan "Metal Mickey". Verwendet etwas metallenes.... Ich habe überall auf meiner Karte goldfarbenes Embossingpulver verwendet.

At Charisma Cardz they have the "Metal Mickey" challenge going on. Use something metal.... I used golden embossing powder all over my card.

Bei Stempelträume gibt es ein Rezept: Spitze, 3 Halbperlen, 3 Blumen.

Cupcake Craft # 98

Einen wunderschönen Montag morgen! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft - diesmal mit dem sportlichen Thema "Worldcup Wonders". Natürlich angelehnt an das diese Woche anstehende Finale der WM, aber grundlegend gilt jedes sportliche Motiv. Und da ich nicht einen einzigen Fußball-Stempel habe, habe ich mich für dieses Digi-Image von Elisabeth Bell entschieden "Sliding with the Butterflies". Der Sketch, den ich für die Karte verwendet habe, kommt von The Sweet Stop:

Happy monday morning! It´s time to start another challenge over at Cupcake Craft - this week with the sporty theme of "Worldcup Wonders". Of course it is matched the worldcup final that will be played this week but basically you can use every sporty image. And since I don´t have one single soccer stamp I decided to go with this digi by Elisabeth Bell: "Sliding with the Butterflies". The sketch I used for the card is by The Sweet Stop:

At Totally Papercrafts they want us to make a card for a girl.

Und bei den Daring Cardmakern geht es diesmal um den Monatsstein für den Juli: der Rubin. Darum gibt es so viel leuchtendes rot auf meiner Karte.

And at Daring Cardmakers it´s all about this month´s birthstone: ruby. So I used a bunch of bright red on my card.
