Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Letzten Monat war so viel los, dass ich es einfach nicht geschafft habe, eine Karte für die Challenge der Share Handmade Kindness Gruppe zu machen. Aber diesen Monat bin ich dann wieder dabei - und hier ist meine Karte dafür.

Last month was so busy that I simply didn't have time to make a card for the challenge in Jennifer McGuire's Share Handmade Kindness group. But this month I am in again - and here's the card I made.

 

Das Video, das diesen Monat Thema ist, stellt Texte einfach aber effektvoll in Szene.

Ich habe hier die Monstera Layering Stencils von SimonSaysStamp benutzt und mit Distress Inks Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn und Rustic Wilderness auf cremefarbenen Cardstock gestencilt. 

Die äußeren Ränder des Cardstocks habe ich mit etwas Old Paper gewischt und dann weiße Acrylfarbe über alles gespritzt. Außerdem habe ich mit einem hellgrauen Copic einen Schatten an das Blatt gemalt. 

 

The video, that's this month's theme, is showing ways to put a sentiment in the focus the easy but impactful way. 

I used the Monstera Layerings stencils by SimonSaysStamp and stenciled them with Distress Ink Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness onto a piece of cream colored cardstock. 

I inked the outer edges of the cardstock with a bit of Old Paper and then splattered white acrylic paint onto the panel. I also used a light grey Copic marker to draw a shadow around the leave.

 

 Aus dem fertig gewischten Cardstock habe ich dann eine Streifen herausgschnitten und mit goldfarbenen Metallic Cardstock hinterlegt. Dann habe ich ihn mit 3D Tape wieder aufgeklebt - dieser Streifen bildet den Hintergrund für den gestanzten Text.

Das "hugs" ist mit der Circled Greetings Hugs Stanze von Altenew gemacht - den Kreis drumherum habe ich einfach weggeschnitten - und besteht aus zwei Lagen weißen Cardstocks und darauf einer leicht versetzten Lage aus dem goldenen Metallic Cardstock. 

Den Rest des Textes habe ich mit Stempeln aus dem Set Monster Mash von LawnFawn zusammengesetzt. Ich fand das Wortspiel "sending monstera hugs" statt "monster hugs" ganz lustig und habe einfach an das Wort "monster" ein A angestempelt. Diesen Textteil habe ich mit schwarzem Cardstock direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt. 

 

I cut a strip out of the stenciled cardstock and matted it with a strip of gold shimmer cardstock. Then I glued it back in place with foam tape - this strip is going to be the backdrop of the text.

The word "hugs" is made using the Circled Greetings Hugs die by Altenew - I simply cut off the circle around it - and is made from two layers of white cardstock and on top, slightly offset, a layer from gold shimmer cardstock. 

The rest of the text I put together using stamps from Monster Mash by LawnFawn. I liked the pun of "sending monstera hugs" instead of "monster hugs" and so I simply added an A to the word "monster.

 

 Als Deko habe ich dann einige goldene Pailetten sowie zwei goldene Herzen aufgeklebt und den kompletten Cardstock wieder gold gemattet. Dann habe ich alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

Und wer hat jetzt den Fehler in der Karte gefunden? Ich löse auf: Ich hatte das Monstera-Blatt zuerst mit Old Paper in der Mitte gewischt und im Pinsel war wohl noch etwas Olivgrün. Die Farben haben mir nicht so recht gefallen. Also habe ich den Cardstock umgedreht und auf der Rückseite ein weiteres Blatt gewischt. Nach dem Zerschneiden des Cardstocks habe ich dann offenbar den unteren Streifen so aufgeklebt, dass das zuerst gewischte Blatt auf der Rückseite zu sehen ist. Das ist mir tatsächlich erstmal gar nicht aufgefallen, ich fand nur, dass die Streifen unten nicht so toll zusammenpassen, habe das aber auf den schmalen goldenen Streifen geschoben. Erst ganz zum Schluss habe ich mich dann gewundert, wo denn mein grauer Schatten im unteren Bereich geblieben ist - und da fiel es mir auf. Da war es dann aber zu spät, denn es war schon alles zusammengeklebt. Aber deswegen ist das Blatt unten auch nicht komplett, ich hatte die Stencils beim ersten Wischen etwas anders auf den Cardstock gelegt. Aber jetzt mal ehrlich - wem war es wirklich aufgefallen?

 

I added some gold sequins and two gold hearts as decoration and matted the whole card panel with the gold shimmer cardstock. Then I adhered it to a white card base.

And now I have to ask, if anyone spotted the mistake on this card? I had inked the monstera leave with some Old Paper in the center first and also had some kind of olive ink left in the blending brush. I didn't like those colors so I turned the cardstock around and did another leave on the back. After cutting the image into strips I must have glued down the bottom strip with the "wrong" leave facing up. I really didn't realize it, just thought that the bottom strip doesn't fit nicely. But I thought it just looks like that because of the gold cardstock strip inbetween. Only at the very end I wondered, where my grey shadows had gone on the bottom of the card - and that's where I realized my mistake. But by that time I had already glued everything together. That's also why the leave is cut off at the bottom - I had placed the stencils a bit differently onto the back of the cardstock.

And now, be honest - did anyone realize it?

 

Magische Geburtstagskarte

Auf der Karte, die ich Euch heute zeige, tummeln sich alle möglichen magische Kreaturen. Bei so viel Magie, kann der Tag ja nur gut werden!

On today's card all kind of magical creatures are shown - with that much magic the day can only become a good one!

 

Der Hintergrund ist aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks gemacht, den ich mit Distress Ink Broken China, Uncharted Mariner und Black Soot gewischt habe. Die hellste Stelle befindet sich dabei dort, wo ich später den Zauberer mit seiner Kristallkugel aufgeklebt habe.

Auf den Hintergrund habe ich dann mit weißer Tinte den Cosmic Halftone Background aufgestempelt. Der ist eigentlich eher  für hochformatige Karten gedacht, aber er passt auch gut auf dieser querformatigen Karte. Man sieht davon eh nicht mehr viel, ich wollte einfach den Hintergrund der Karte etwas interessanter machen. 

Anschließend habe ich grüne Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

Und aus hellgrünem Vellum habe ich mit den Rainbow Slice Tunnel Stanzen von Spellbinders "Schwaden" ausgestanzt und, ausgehend vom Zauberer, auf die Karte geklebt.

 

The background is made from a piece of white cardstock, that I inked with Distress Ink Broken China, Uncharted Mariner and Black Soot. The lightest spot is where I wanted to glue down the magician with his crystal ball later.

I used white pigment ink and stamped the Cosmic Halftone Background onto the inked cardstock. It's made to fit a portrait card, I think, but it also looks good on a landscape card. Most of it will be covered by the images anyway, I just wanted to add some interest to the background.

Then I added splatters of green metallic watercolor.

From light green vellum I die cut some "wisps of fog" using the Rainbow Slice Tunnel die set by Spellbinders and adhered them to the background.

 

 Entlang der unteren Kante der Karte habe ich einenStreifen schwarzen Cardstocks aufgeklebt und als Boden für meine Motive benutzt.

Die sind aus den Stempelsets Cast a Spell und Create Magic und alle mit Copics coloriert. Anschließend habe ich sie per Hand ausgeschnitten. 

Eigentlich hatte ich die Karte ohne den Zauberer geplant, aber der durfte dann doch noch mit auf die Karte. 

 

I glued a strip of black cardstock across the bottom of my card and used them as a ground for my images.

Those images are all from Cast a Spell and Create Magic and are all colored with Copics. Then I cut them out with my scissors.

Originally I had planned the card without the magician, but then decided, he would look nice with all the other magical creatures.

 

 Den Text habe ich auf eine Schriftrolle aus einem der bereits genannten Sets gestempelt und mit kleinen Sternchen dekoriert. 

Wie erwähnt, war der Zauberer eigentlich erst nicht für die Karte geplant, ich hatte stattdessen den kleinen Drachen, der auf seiner Mütze sitzt, coloriert, ausgeschnitten und auf die Mütze des Froschs geklebt. Nachdem der Zauberer doch auf die Karte durfte, habe ich den Drachen wieder abgelöst und stattdessen obenauf die Schriftrolle geklebt. 

I stamped the text onto a scroll from one of the already mentioned stamp sets and decorated it with some small stars.

As I said, I hadn't planned to use the magician on this card, instead I had stamped the dragon, that's sitting on his hat, colored it, cut it out and glued it onto the frog's hat. Since I changed my mind and brought in the magician I removed the dragon from the frog's hat and instead adhered it on top of the scroll.  

Auf die Nebelschwaden und einige kleine Details der Motive habe ich Stickles aufgetragen, die Kristallkugel des Zauberers ist mit Glossy Accents überzogen. Außerdem habe ich kleine goldene Sternchen als Deko auf der Karte verteilt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

Onto the mists and some small details in the images I applied Stickles, the crystal ball is covered with Glossy Accents. I also added some small gold star sequins to the card.

Then I adhered the card panel to a white note card.

 

You're a Classic

Im Mai hat Spellbinders Stanzen mit Oldtimern sowie eines mit einem großen Tacho herausgebracht. Ich fand den Tacho super, da ich aber wohl eher selten Karten mit Tachos machen werde, habe ich die Stanze nicht gekauft sondern stattdessen in meinem Stanzenvorrat geschaut, womit ich ein ähnliches Motiv kreieren konnte. Und hier ist die Karte, die so entstanden ist.

In may Spellbinders released some classic car die sets and also one with a speedometer. I loved that but since I don't think I will make many cards with tachometers on them I didn't get the die set and instead raided my stash to see, what products I could use to create a similar image. And this is how this card came together.

 

Die Farben der Karte habe ich ebenfalls eher in den 50er oder 60er Jahren angesiedelt. 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich hellgelben Cardstock genommen und mit dem All Star Burst von SimonSaysStamp geprägt. Offenbar hatte ich darin zuletzt recht frisch gewischtes Papier geprägt, auf jeden Fall hatte ich dunkle Stellen an den Rändern des Cardstocks. Also habe ich sie mit ein wenig Distress Ink Scattered Straw zumindest ein wenig überdeckt.

Anschließend habe ich einige größere Tropfen Distress Mica Spray Stain in der Farbe Unravelled aufgespritzt. 

Colorwise I used some more 50s or 60s related colors on my card.

For the background I dry embossed a sheet of light yellow cardstock with the All Star Burst embossing folder by SimonSaysStamp. Seems like I used it last with some fresh inked paper, I ended up with dark areas close to the edges. So I applied some Distress Ink Scattered Straw to cover them at least a bit.

Then I added some larger droplets of the Unravelled Distress Mica Spray Stain.

 

Der Tacho besteht im Grunde aus einigen ausgestanzten Kreisen in verschiedenen Größen. Im Hintergrund befindet sich ein großer grauer Kreis, darauf habe ich dann Ringe aus weißem Cardstock sowie für die oberste Lage aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock geklebt.

Den Kreis mit den Zahlen, der in der Mitte weiß ist, habe ich dann am PC gemacht und ausgedruckt. Das ging einfach schneller und genauer als mit Stempeln, wie ich es eigentlich geplant hatte. 

In die Mitte des Zahlenkreises habe ich dann noch einen weiteren  Kreis aus grauem Cardstock geklebt und dort in der Mitte die Tachonadel angebracht. Die habe ich tatsächlich mit einer Nähnadel-Stanze von Magnolia gemacht und die Öse weggeschnitten. Dann habe ich sie zwischen zwei weitere Kreise aus dem Metallic-Cardstock gesetzt. Die Nadel zeigt auf die Zahl 75 - das Alter des Geburtstagskinds. So kann man ganz einfach jedes Alter darstellen.

Bevor ich den silbernen Ring aufgeklebt habe, habe ich einen Kreis aus Folie aufgeklebt, so dass der Tacho geschlossen ist. 

Hinter dem Tacho befinden sich je ein schwarzes und hellblaues Rechteck und ein Streifen roten Cardstocks, der über die komplette Breite der Karte geht.

 

The speedometer is mostly made from die cut circles in different sizes. There's a large grey one in the background, on top I put some rings cut from white cardstock and, for the top layer, matte silver metallic cardstock. 

The circle with the numbers, that has a white circle in the center, I created on my computer. That was just faster and more accurate than creating it with stamps, what I had planned originally. I just had to print it out.

In the center of the circle with the numbers I adhered the speedometer needle, that is made using an actual needle die. I cut off the end with the hole and glued it between to small circles cut from matte silver metallic cardstock. I made the needle point onto 75 - the age of the birthday "boy". This way any age can easily be made.

I cut a circle from acetate and put it between the two top most rings.

Behind the speedometer there are a black and a light blue rectangle and also a strip of red cardstock, that goes all across the card.

 

 Für das geschwungene Emblem unten auf dem Tacho habe ich tatsächlich eine Flügelstanze von Magnolia benutzt. Da ich hier nur einen hatte, habe ich ihn ein zweites Mal aus der Rückseite des silbernen Metallic-Cardstocks gestanzt und dann umgedreht. Die beiden Teile habe ich aufeinander geklebt und darauf dann ein Emblem mit Text gesetzt.

Das Emblem ist mit einer Stanze von SU aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt. Darauf habe ich dann mit roter Tinte ein "you're a classic" aus dem Soda Pop Stempelset von MFT aufgestempelt. Darunter befindet sich ein Streifen mit einem weiß aufembossten Happy Birthday.

Und unter den Rechtecken habe ich einen weiteren Textstreifen auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Die beiden länglichen Texte sind aus dem Set Bitty Birthday Wishes Stempelset von MFT.

 

For the sign on the bottom half of the speedometer I used a wing die by Magnolia. I only had one so I cut it a second time from the backside of some silver metallic cardstock, then turned it face down. I glued both pieces together and put a label on top.

The label is made from light blue cardstock using a die by SU. With red ink I stamped a "you're a classic" from the Soda Pop set by MFT onto the label. I also added a strip of red cardstock, onto that I had white heat embossed a Happy Birthday.

Under the rectangles I glued another text strip onto the background. Both texts are from Bitty Birthday Wishes by MFT.

 

 Der Tacho hat ja bereits eine gewisse Höhe, also habe ich nur für das Emblem und unter dem schwarzen Textstreifen 3D Tape benutzt. 

In die Mitte des Tachos habe ich noch ein rotes Sternkonfetti auf die Folie geklebt, dann habe ich den  Cardstock auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

 

The speedometer is already pretty thick so I only used foam tape for the sign and behind the black text strip.

I glued  a red star confetti onto the center of the acetate circle, then I adhered the card panel to a white note card.

 

LawnFawnatics Challenge #198

Zwischen der Karte, die ich Euch gestern gezeigt habe, und der heutigen liegt etwas mehr als eine Woche. In dieser Zeit bin ich mit meinem Bastelzimmer in die ehemaligen Kinderzimmer unserer Mädels umgezogen. Es sind zwei große Zimmer, die mit einer Schiebetür verbunden sind und ich habe dort Platz ohne Ende. Diese Karte für die LawnFawnatics Challenge #198 mit dem Thema "Up, Up and Away" ist also quasi die Einweihungskarte für meine neuen Zimmer geworden.

Between the card I've shared with you yesterday and today's card more than a week has passed. During that time I moved my craft room into the former rooms of our girls. They are two rooms, connected by a sliding door and I have so much room up there now. So this card for the LawnFawnatics Challenge #198 with "Up, Up and Away" being the theme is the first card I made in those new rooms.  

 

 Der Hintergrund besteht hier aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks, den ich mit Distress Oxide Salty Ocean gewischt habe. Dann habe ich feine Wassertropfen und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

 

The background is made from white cardstock, that I inked with Distress Oxide Salty Ocean. Then I splattered fine droplets of water and also some white acrylic paint onto it. 

 

Bei dem Thema "Up, Up and Aways" muss natürlich irgendwas Fliegendes auf der Karte enthalten sein. Ich konnte mich nicht so recht entscheiden und so findet man hier Heißluftballons, ein Vögelchen und eine Maus auf einem Papierflieger. Und ein paar Wölkchen schweben auch am Himmel.

Der Heißluftballon, den ich viermal verwendet habe, und auch die Wolken sind aus dem Set Fly High, die Maus auf dem Papierflieger natürlich aus Just Plane Awesome und das kleine Vögelchen aus It's a Bird. Das staunt nicht schlecht, dass da auf einmal eine Maus fröhlich grüßt. 

Über der Maus habe ich eine Sprechblase aus All the Speech Bubbles angebracht, in die ich ein Hello There aus dem Set Fly High. 

Ich habe alle Motive mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. 

Hinter dem Papierflieger habe ich noch einen "Trail", ebenfalls aus Fly High, auf den Hintergrund gestempelt.

Und ganz oben auf der Karte war Platz für meinen Text. Der ist aus Let's Play und mit schwarzer Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. Ich wollte keinen schwarzen Streifen aufkleben, hatte aber auch nicht die passende Idee für andersfarbigen Cardstock. Also habe ich einfach weiß verwendet.

 

Of course with the theme "Up, Up and Away" there has to be something flying on the card. I just couldn't decide on an image and so there are hotair balloons, a bird and a mouse on a paper plane on my card. There are also a few clouds floating in the sky.

The hotair balloon, that I used four times, and also the clouds are from Fly High, the mouse on the paper plane from Just Plane Awesome and the little bird from It's a Bird. This bird is quite baffled that there's a mouse greeting him up there in the sky.

I added a speech bubble from  All the Speech Bubbles, that I had stamped a "hello there" from Fly High onto, above the mouse's head.

I colored all images with Copics and cut them out with my scissors.

Behind the paper plane I stamped a trail from Fly High onto the background.

And at the very top of the card there was room for my sentiment. It's from Let's Play and stamped with black ink onto white cardstock. I didn't want to add a black sentiment strip but also couldn't decide on a different color so I went with white.

 

 

Am unteren Ende der Karte befindet sich eine Landschaft, über der die Motive fliegen. Dort sind Berge aus Over the Mountain Borders sowie Häuser und Bäume aus Happy Village. 

Die Berge habe ich coloriert und anschließend den Bereich darunter mit Distress Oxide Twisted Citron und Mowed Lawn eingefärbt, so dass er wie eine saftige Sommerwiese aussieht.  Auch auf die Wiese habe ich Wasser und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

 

At the bottom of the card there's a landscape that the images fly oer. There are mountains from Over the Mountains Borders as well as houses and trees from Happy Village.

I colored the mountains and then inked the area under them with Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn to make it appear to be a summer meadow. Again I splattered water and white acrylic paint onto the grass area.

 

 

Zum Zusammenkleben der Karte kam dünnes und dickes 3D Tape zum Einsatz.

Über Maus und Vogel habe ich noch drei rote Herzen angebracht, dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I used thin and thick foam tape to put the scene together.

Above the bird and mouse I added three red clay hearts, then adhered the card panel to a white note card.

Der Post-Titel mag Euch ein wenig verwirren - schließlich zeige ich hier ständig Karten. Die sind aber alle schon vor einiger Zeit entstanden.In letzter Zeit war privat wahnsinnig viel los und wenn ich von vornherein weiß, dass ich nur eine begrenzte Zeit zum Basteln habe, dann kommt meist nichts bei raus. Und so habe ich in den letzten Wochen viele kleine Dinge angefangen, konnte dann nicht weitermachen und zufrieden war ich auch mit  nichts. Nun aber war es endlich soweit - ich hatte Zeit und Lust, eine komplette Karte zu machen. Und eines der Überbleibsel, die noch nicht in den Müll gewandert waren, hat es sogar auf die Karte geschafft.

The post title might sound strange since I am sharing a new card here nearly daily. But those were all made some time ago.  The last weeks have been very busy and when I know, that crafting time is limited, then most times I don't get anything done. So I started a lot of small things the last weeks but wasn't able to finish anything and also wasn't really happy with anything I made. But now it happened - I finally had some free time and also felt like making a card. I even used one of those snippets I had created - and that hadn't ended up in the trash yet - on this card.

 

Der Hintergrund besteht hier aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks, auf den ich die Hortensien aus Hydrangeas in Blooms von MFT ein paar Mal mit grauer Tinte aufgestempelt habe. Dabei habe ich nur die Blütenköpfe gestempelt, einfach um den Hintergrund etwas zu füllen. 

Den Cardstock habe ich ein wenig mit Distress Ink Weathered Wood gewischt und dann schwarze Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

 

The background is made from a piece of whtie cardstock onto that I stamped the hydrangeas from Hydrangeas in Bloom by MFT several times. I only stamped the flower heads, just to fill the background a bit.

I inked the cardstock with a bit of Distress Ink Weathered Wood and then splattered black metallic watercolor onto it.

 

 Eigentlich wollte ich dann nur die colorierten Blüten auf den Hintergrund setzen, aber die Stiele waren zu kurz und irgendwas fehlte. Da fiel mein Blick auf die Hortensien, die von der Karte, die Euch gestern gezeigt hatte, übrig waren - bzw. meine Teststücke waren, mit denen ich nicht zufrieden war. Die habe ich dann kurzerhand in Stücke geschnitten und so auf dem Hintergrund verteilt, dass die colorierten Blüten später alle Nahtstellen etc. verdecken.

 

Originally I only wanted to put the colored hydrangeas onto that background, but the stems were too short and I was missing something. That's when I saw the hydrangeas, that were left overs - or test pieces I didn't like - from the card I shared with you the last time. They were still on my desk and I just cut them into pieces, then placed them onto the background so the cut off edges will be covered by the colored hydrangeas later.

 

 Die Blumen habe ich dann schwarz auf ein extra Stück Cardstock abgestempelt ujnd mit Copics coloriert. Man sieht es hier nicht so gut, aber die Blüten sind teilweise etwas leuchtender und teilweise etwas ins Grün gehende blau coloriert. Dann habe ich sie mit der passenden Stanze ausgeschnitten.

 

I stamped the flowers black onto a different sheet of cardstock and colored them with Copics.  You can't really see it on the pictures, but some are a more vibrant, some a more green-ish blue. I used the matching outline die to cut them out.

 

 Im unteren Bereich der Karte ist durch die vielen Blätter der gewischten Hortensien der Zwischenlage doch recht viel los. Also habe ich für den Text einfach einen fertig gedruckten Textstreifen von WaffleFlower benutzt. 

Vor dem Aufkleben des Textes habe ich über die komplette Karte noch weiße Acrylfarbe gespritzt.

 

There's a lot going on at the bottom of the card, due to the leaves of the stenciled hydrangeas I used as the middle layer. So I just used a pre-printed text strip by WaffleFlower for my text.

Before adhering the text I splattered white acrylic paint over the whole card.

 

 Die gestencilten Hortensien sind zusätzlich ja auch mit einem Embossingfolder geprägt und sind dadurch bereits etwas erhaben. Ich habe dann nur noch die colorierten Blüten und den Textstreifen mit 3D Tape hinterlegt.

Als Deko habe ich ein paar kleine weiße Herzen verwendet.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

The stenciled hydrangeas are also dry embossed with a matching embossing folder, so they are already a bit raised. I only put foam tape behind the colored flowers and the text strip.

As decoration I added some small white clay hearts.

Then I matted the card panel black and adhered it to a white note card.

 

Frische Luft und Blumenduft

On the card I am sharing with you today we are heading into summer. And a little frog is obviously enjoying it.

 

Der Hintergrund ist wirklich einfach gehalten - eigentlich ist die komplette Karte eher simple. Ich habe hier per Ink Smooshing mit Distress Ink Salvaged Patina den oberen Teil eines Stücks Watercolor-Cardstocks hellblau/türkis eingefärbt.  Darunter habe ich mit einem Blending Brush ein wenig Mowed Lawn aufgewischt. Der Rest des Cardstocks ist weiß geblieben und auch auf Splatter habe ich hier verzichtet.

 

The background is kept pretty simple - actually, the whole card is on the simpler side. I did some ink smooshing with Distress Ink Salvaged Patina to color the upper half of a piece of watercolor cardstock a light blue/aqua. Under it I added a bit of Mowed Lawn using a blending brush. The rest of the cardstock is white and I even didn't add any splatters.

 

 Ich wollte unbedingt ein Tier in eine blühende Blumenwiese setzen und mit seinen nach oben gereckten Armen hat sich der kleine Frosch angeboten, sieht es doch so aus, als würde er Blüten um sich werfen.

Der Frosch ist aus dem Stempelset Kröten von Create a Smile. Ich habe ihn mit Jellyfish Tinte von LawnFawn abgestempelt und dann mit Copics in No-Line Technik coloriert. Dabei sind die Punkte ein wenig zu Warzen mutiert, aber das tut seiner Schönheit natürlich keinen Abbruch. 

Die Blumenwiese ist mit der Stanze Kleine Blüten entstanden. Die stanzt auf einmal sechs verschieden große Blumen und dazu passende Blumenmitten. Ich habe sie jeweils zweimal aus drei verschiedenen Gelb- und drei Blautönen gestanzt und dann jeweils die drei kleinsten Blumen für meine Karte verwendet. Die gelben Blumenmitten habe ich auf die blauen Blüten geklebt, bei den gelben Blumen habe ich sie mit Copics aufgemalt. Und weil ich so die blauen Blütenmitten übrig hatte, habe ich die um und zwischen den Blüten verteilt. 

 

I really wanted to sit a critter into a meadow full of flowers and with its arm up this little frog was just perfect, it looks like the's throwing flowers around.

The frog is from Toadally by Create a Smile. I stamped him with the Jellyfish ink byLawnFawn, then colored him in no-line technique using Copics. The dots on his skin kind of turned into warts during the coloring, but I still think he's a real beauty.

The flowers I made with the Kleine Blüten die set. It cuts six different sized flowers with matching flower centers in one pass. I die cut it two times each from three different shades of yellow and three different shades of blue cardstock, then used the three smallest flowers only.  I glued the yellow flower centers onto the blue flowers, onto the yellow ones I simply drew them with Copics. And since I was left with the blue centers I put those between and around the flowers.

 

 Für den Text auf der Karte habe ich die Buchstaben für das Wort Sommer mit dem Impact Alphabet von MFT ausgestanzt. Die oberste Lage besteht aus hellblauem Designpapier mit weißen Punkten, jeder Buchstabe ist mit zwei weiteren, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, hinterlegt. 

Der gestempelte Text ist aus dem Set Aus meinem Garten von Create a Smile. Ich habe den Stempel zerschnitten um das Blumenduft direkt auf den Hintergrund stempeln zu können. Ich hatte die gestanzten Buchstaben bereits aufgeklebt und so war das Stempeln anders nicht mehr möglich. Aber so konnte ich auch gleich noch das Und-Zeichen direkt neben den kleinen Text stempeln. Ich habe schwarze Tinte verwendet und den kleinen Teil des Textes auf das Wort Sommer geklebt. Außerdem war dort noch Platz für eine der größeren gelben Blüten. Die schwarze Linie habe ich einfach mit einem Fineliner dazugemalt.

 

For the text on my card I die cut the letters for the word summer using the Impact Alphabet by MFT. The top layer is made from light aqua cardstock with white dots, under each letter there are two more cut from white cardstock.

The stamped text means "fresh air and the smell of flowers". I stamped the larger word directly onto the background, the smaller part I glued across the die cut letters. And there was also room for one of the larger yellow flowers.  The black line across the card I drew with a black fineliner.

 

 Die Blumen mit 3D Tape zu hinterlegen war mir - ganz offen zugegeben - zu viel Arbeit. So ist nur der Text durch die 3 Lagen etwas hervorgehoben.

Zwischen die Blumen habe ich noch kleine Punkte mit goldenen Stickles gesetzt. Und die Augen und Warzen des Froschs habe ich mit Glossy Accents überzogen. Wenn schon Warzen, dann richtig, oder? Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

To be completly honest with you - backing the small flowers with foam tape just seemed too much work. So the die cut word is the only part that's raised a bit, due to the fact that it's made from three layers.

I added little dots of gold Stickles between the flowers. The frog's eyes and warts I covered with Glossy Accents. If he has to have warts, then they should be big, right?

As the last step I adhered the card panel to a white note card.

 

Hortensien zum Geburtstag

Heute zeige ich Euch die Geburtstagskarte, die ich für meine Mom gemacht habe. Hortensien sind eine weitere Pflanze, die wir beide lieben. Und jeden Herbst bekomme ich die Hortensien aus ihren Blumentöpfen zum Aussetzen in meinem Garten...

Today I am sharing with you the birthday card I made for my mom. Hydrangeas are flowers we both love. Every fall I get the bushes from her planters to plant them in my garden...

 

Vor kurzem habe ich in einem Stempelflohmarkt ein Set aus Layering Stencils, Stanze und Embossingfolder von Lisa Horton mit Hortensien-Motiv erstanden. Das wollte ich unbedingt für die Karte nutzen. Da fingen die Probleme an. Nach dem Stanzen, Wischen und Embossen einiger Motive war ich einfach nicht zufrieden. Rettung kam in Form von AmyR von Prarie Paper and Ink. Sie hat ein 3D embosstes Motiv mit Watercolor coloriert. Und das war genau der Anstoß, den ich gebraucht habe. Und so ist doch noch diese Karte entstanden.

Ich habe das Motiv in Watercolor Cardstock geprägt und dann mit Distress Inks coloriert. Wobei coloriert ein wenig zu viel gesagt ist.... Auch rund um das Motiv habe ich den Cardstock ein wenig eingefärbt.

 

A little ago I found a set of layering stencils, die and embossing folder by Lisa Horton with a hydrangea image. I really wanted to use it on my mom's card. That's where the problems started. After die cutting, stenciling and embossing several images I just wasn't happy with them. Amy R from Prarie Paper and Ink came to the rescue - she shared a card where she colored a 3D embossed image with watercolors. That's the idea I needed. And so this card happened.

I dry embossed the  image into watercolor cardstock and colored it with Distress Inks. Well, coloring is a bit too much... I also colored the area around the image with watercolors.

 

 Ich habe die Distress Ink Refills für die Coloration benutzt - Antique Linen und Twisted Citron für die Blüten, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn und Rustic Wilderness für die Blätter. Den Bereich rund um die Blume habe ich mit Salvaged Patina gefärbt - da die grüne Tinte teilweise ein wenig hineingelaufen ist, ist der Bereich direkt an den Blumen ein Mix aus grün und türkis, aber das macht alles nur interessanter, finde ich.

Nur die erhabensten Stellen habe ich dann noch mit einem Sanding Block aufgehellt.

Auf den Hintergrund habe ich nach dem Trocknen etwas grüne und türkisfarbene Farbe aufgespritzt, natürlich gemischt mit Wasser. Außerdem habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Und auf der Blume landet eine Libelle - ebenfalls eine Idee abgekupfert von der Karte von Amy R. Ich hatte ja erst auf der Muttertagskarte einen Schmetterling, aber irgendetwas musste doch mit auf die Karte. Da hat mir die Libelle auf Amy's Karte gut gefallen.

Ich habe für die Libelle eine Stanze von Action verwendet. Der Körper ist aus helltürkis-holographischem Cardstock gestanzt, für die Flügel habe ich irisierendes Vellum benutzt. Und weil der das obere Flügelpaar eine Ausstanzung hat, habe ich nur den mit grünem Spiegel-Cardstock hinterlegt. Außerdem fehlte mir  bei der Libelle irgendetwas. Also habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock Fühler - so im Nachhinein denke ich, dass Libellen gar keine Fühler haben - und außerdem schwarze Augen aufgeklebt. Die Fühler habe ich mit einem kleinen Teil einer Feder aus dem selben Stanzenset von Action gemacht. 

I used Distress Ink Refills for the coloring here - Antique Linen and Twisted Citron for the blossoms, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness for the leaves. The area behind the image I colored with Salvaged Patina - since the green ink from the leaves had bled out a bit, the area closest to the flowers is a mix of green and light aqua, but I really think that adds an interesting touch.

I used a sanding block to just lighten the most raised areas of the image.

After the cardstock had dried I splattered some green and aqua ink onto the background - of course watering the colors down - and also added splatters of white acrylic paint.

There's a dragonfly landing on the flower - another idea I've stolen from Amy R.'s card. I had already used a butterfly on my mom's mother's day card, but there was something missing with just the flowers. The dragonfly on Amy's card looked really pretty.

I used a die by Action for the dragonfly. The body is cut from light aqua holographic cardstock, for the wings I used iridescent vellum. And since the upper wing had cut outs I backed it with a solid one cut from green mirror cardstock.  I also felt like the dragonfly was missing something. So I cut antennas from black cardstock - and in hindsight I am sure the don't have antennas - and also some black eyes. The antennas I made using a small part of a feather die from the same die set.

 

 Natürlich wollte ich einen Text auf der Karte, der sollte aber nicht zu sehr vom Motiv ablenken. Also habe ich mit hellgrüner Folie ein "alles Gute zum Geburtstag" auf helltürkis farbenen Cardstock foliert. Die Hotfoil Plate ist von Kartenkunst. 

Of course I wanted a text on my card but didn't want it to take too much attention from the image. So I hot foiled a "very happy birthday" with light green foil onto light aqua cardstock. 

Auf die Blütenmitten der Hortensie habe ich Glossy Accents aufgetragen.

Die Libelle und den Text habe ich mit 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt und als Deko einige kleine weiße Herzen hinzugefügt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I covered the flower centers of the hydrangeas with Glossy Accents.

To adhere the drangonfly and the text I used foam tape and added a few white clay hearts to the card.

As a last step I adhered the card panel to a white note card.

Mit der heutigen Karte nehme ich Euch mit in den Wald - und da begegnen wir doch glatt einem ganz besonderen Wesen!

With today's card I am taking you with me into the woods - and that's where we meet a very special creature!

 

Der Hintergrund der Karte besteht aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks, den ich mit Distress Ink Salvaged Patina, Cracked Pistacchio, Evergreen Bough, Rustic Wilderness, Forest Moss und ein wenig Black Soot gewischt habe. Anschließend habe ich Wasser, weiße Acrylfarbe und grüne Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt - wenn schon, denn schon, oder?

 

The background is made from a piece of white cardstock that I inked with Distress Ink Salvaged Patina, Cracked Pistacchio, Evergreen Bough, Rustic Wilderness, Forest Moss and a bit of Black Soot. Then I added droplets of water and splatters of white acrylic paint and green metallic watercolor.

 

 Anfang Mai kam das Frog Prince Stanzenset von Spellbinders auf den Markt und ich musste es einfach haben. Hier habe ich damit eine Waldszene gestaltet, die einzelnen Elemente sind aber viel vielseitiger einsetzbar. Besonders hatte es mir aber der Frosch angetan.

Ich habe alle Teile aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert. Nur die Pilzhüte sind mit Distress Ink Walnut Stain gewischt. Aus dem Stanzenset Frog Prince ist nur der große Pilz, die kleineren sind aus den Sets Mushrooms and Ferns von HeroArts sowie Creative Depot.

Die Krone des Froschkönigs habe ich aus matt-goldenem Metallic Cardstock gestanzt und vier kleine rot-irisierende Perlen auf die Zacken geklebt.

Die Farne im Hintergrund habe ich mit Stanzen von CraftEmotions sowie wieder dem Mushrooms and Ferns Set von HeroArts gemacht und mit Distress Inks schattiert.

 

Beginning of may Spellbinders released the Frog Prince die set and I just had to have it. Here I created a woods scene with it, but the different elements can be used in so many different ways. But I especially loved the frog.

I die cut all pieces from colored cardstock and shaded them with Copics. Only the mushroom hats I inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. Only the large mushroom is from the Frog Prince set, the smaller ones are from Mushrooms and Ferns by HeroArts and Creative Depot.

The frog's crown I die cut from matte gold metallic cardstock and glued four small red iridescent pearls onto the tips.

The ferns in the background are made using dies by Craft Emotions and again the Mushrooms and Ferns set by HeroArts. I shaded these with Distress Inks. 

Oben links auf der Karte war Platz für einen Text. Da ich keinen "Froschkönig"-Textstempel habe, habe ich mich für ein "Küsschen?" entschieden. Diesen Text hatte ich mir mal selbst als Stempel gelasert. Er ist mit grüner Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. 

Als Deko habe ich hier drei kleine türkisgrüne Herzen aufgeklebt.

 

In the top left corner of my card I found place for my text. Since I didn't have a "frog prince" text stamp I went with a "kiss?". I stamped the text with green ink onto white cardstock.

As decoration I added three mint green clay hearts around the text.

 

 Ich habe hier nur den Textstreifen mit dünnem 3D Tape hinterlegt, die übrigen Elemente auf der Karte sind alle direkt aufeinander geklebt, es entsteht aber durch die vielen Lagen eine Tiefe in der Szene. Zum Schluss habe ich den dekorierten Cardstock auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I only backed the text strip with thin foam tape, the other elements are glued on top of each other. Due to the many layers the scene still gets some depth. As a last step I adhered the card panel to a white note card.

 

Und noch eine Hochzeitskarte

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Nein, ich zeige Euch nicht die selbe Karte zweimal. Als ich die Hochzeitskarte gemacht habe, die ich Euch vor ein paar Tagen gezeigt habe, war eine meine Töchter für ein paar Tage zu Hause. Und wie es der Zufall will, brauchte auch sie eine Hochzeitskarte. Die andere hat ihr so gut gefallen, dass sie eine ähnliche wollte. Allein schon wegen der Namen musste ich die heutige Karte etwas abwandeln...

 

Hello everyone!

No, I am not sharing with you the same card twice. When I made the wedding card I shared with you a few days ago one of my daughters was home for a few days. And it turned out, that she needed a wedding card, too. She liked that first one so much, that she wanted a similar one. I had to make some changes, mostly because the names were longer...

 

Ich habe die Karte im Slimline Format gemacht. Auch hier besteht der Hintergrund aus hellblauem Cardstock. Auf den habe ich mit einem Stencil und weißer Paste vertikale Streifen aufgestencilt, nach dem Trocknen habe ich silberne Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

 

I made a slimline card. Again I used light blue cardstock for the background. I used a stencil and white paste to stencil vertical stripes onto it. After the paste had dried I added splatters of silver metallic watercolor.

 

 Die Namen habe ich diesmal mit dem Tall Skinny Alphabet von Scrapbook.com gemacht. Sie bestehen aus je zwei weißen Lagen mit einer hellgrauen Lage obenauf. Später fand ich dann, dass die Buchstaben zu hell waren. Deswegen habe ich sie von unten her mit Copics schattiert.

Ich habe die Buchstaben aufgeklebt und dann die Texte von Kulricke hinzugefügt. Sie sind mit weißem Embossingpulver auf blauen Cardstock embosst. 

Rund um die Namen habe ich hell- und dunkelblaue Blümchen verteilt, in deren Mitte ich jeweil eine kleine weiße Perle gesetzt habe. Weitere Perlen habe ich zwischen den Blumen verteilt.

 

This time I used the Tall Skinny Alphabet by Scrapbook.com to write the names. Each letter is made from two white layers and a light grey layer on top. Later I realized, that the grey was too light so I shaded each letter with my Copics.  

I adhered the letters onto the background and added some texts, that I white heat embossed onto blue cardstock.

Around and between the names I added small light and dark blue flowers, in the center of each flower I put a small white pearl. Then I added more pearls between the flowers.

 

 Rund um die Deko habe ich auch hier einen schmalen weißen Rahmen aufgeklebt, der wieder mit einem der Stitched Rectangle Frames von Create a Smile gemacht ist. An einigen Stellen, an denen Blumen sitzen und rechts und links der Namen habe ich den Rahmen unterbrochen. Um den Rahmen für das Slimline Format der Karte anzupassen, habe ich ihn per Partial Diecutting verlängert. 

Nur die Texte habe ich mit 3D Tape hinterlegt, dann habe ich den Cardstock auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

Around the decorations I again added a thin white frae, that I made again using one of the Stitched Rectangle Frames by Create a Smile. I interrupted the frame in a few areas, where there were flowers, and also to the left and right of the names. To make the frame fit my slimline sized card I made it longer by doing some partial die cutting.

I put foam tape just behind the texts, then adhered the card panel to a white card base.

 

Ein versteckter Reisegutschein

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Im Winter hatte meinem Mom meinem Bruder und mir gegenüber erwähnt, dass sie zu ihrem 77. Geburtstag gerne mit uns nach Hamburg reisen würde. Nun war ihr Geburtstag, und wir hatten uns das natürlich gemerkt. In dieser Karte war der Reisegutschein versteckt.

 

Hello everyone!

In winter my mom mentioned that she wanted a trip to Hamburg with me and my brother as a gift for her 77th birthday. She celebrated her birthday a little ago and of course we remembered her request. In this card I've hidden the "travel ticket".

 

Falls Ihr meinen Blog regelmäßig/öfter lest, dann kommt Euch das Motiv auf der Karte vielleicht bekannt vor. Kein Wunder - es stammt von der "unfotografierbaren" Karte mit Folienfront. Da ich mit der Karte irgendwie  immer noch nicht zufrieden war, habe ich kurzerhand das Motiv samt Herzen-und-Wolken-Trail abgezogen (von der Folie geht das ja ganz gut) und auf dieser Karte recycelt. 

Die Front der Karte besteht hier aus mehreren Lagen Wolken, die ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und ein wenig mit hellblauer Tinte gewischt habe. Dahinter ist ein wenig Himmel mit Sonnenstrahlen zu sehen, die ich Euch später noch genauer zeige.

Auf die Wolken habe ich hellblaue Metallic-Watercolor aufgespritzt.

 

If  you visit my blog regularly/more often, then the image on this card might look familiar to you. No wonder - it's from the card with the acetate front that I wasn't able to take a good shot of. And since I still wasn't entirely happy with this card, I peeled off the image including the heart and clouds trail (luckily that  works pretty good with the acetate) and recycled it on today's card.

The card front is made from several layers of clouds, that I cut from white cardstock. In the background you can see some blue sky with sun rays that I will talk about a little later.

I splattered light blue metallic watercolor onto the clouds.

 

 Zum Motiv und der Coloration hatte ich ja bereits alle Details erzählt. Es ist von MFT und mit ZIGs coloriert.

Für diese Karte habe ich dann eine Sprechblase über dem Piloten angebracht. Das "Lust auf eine Spritztour" darauf ist aus dem Stempelset Spritztour von Stampcorner. 

 

I already shared all the details about the image and the coloring of it in my previous post. It's by MFT and colored with ZIGs.

For this card I added a speech bubble above the pilot and stamped a "wanna go on a trip" into it.

 

 Die vorderen Wolkenlagen sind mit dickem, das Flugzeug mit dünnem 3D Tape auf die Kartenfront geklebt. Und eigentlich bilden nur die unteren 3Lagen die Katenfront, denn das hier ist eine Trifold Card. Die beiden seitlichen Teile habe ich unterschiedlich gekürzt und jeweils mit einer Wolkenbordüren-Stanze in Form gebracht. Der blaue Himmel mit den Sonnenstrahlen ist die eigentliche Innenseite der Karte.

 

The two cloud layers at the bottom are adered with thick, the airplane with thin foam tape. And acutally only the bottom three rows of clouds are on the card front. I made a trifold card here. The two sides I kept differently tall and used a cloud border die to cut the top edge. The blue sky with the sun rays is the inside of the card.

 

 Klappt man die erste Lage, auf der sich das Flugzeug befindet, auf, so zeigt sich einem dieses Bild.

Ich habe hier einige Sonnenstrahlen - Überbleibsel von der Innenseite der Karte - aufgeklebt und als Hintergrund für das Motiv auf dieser Seite verwendet. Die obere Kante der Sonnenstrahlen sieht ein wenig eigenwillig aus, ich wollte aber sichergehen, dass sie nicht hinter den Wolken der ersten Kartenlage hervorschauen.

Die Strahlen sind mit einer Slimline-Stanze von Action aus sehr hell gelbfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Squeezed Lemonade und ein wenig Mustard Seed gewischt.

 

When you open up the first layer with the plane this is what you see.

I adhered some sun rays - left over pieces from the inside of the card - and used those as the backdrop for my image. The top edge of those rays looks a bit strange but I wanted to make sure that they are not visible behind the clouds of the top layer.

I used a Slimline die by Action for those rays and cut them from very light yellow cardstock, then inked them with a bit of Distress Ink Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed.

 

  Der kleine Hamster, der da gerade noch über den Kofferberg schauen kann, ist aus dem Deliver Summer Vibes Set von MamaElephant. Damit er zum Motiv auf der Vorderseite passt, habe ich ihn ebenfalls mit dem Jellyfish Ink Stempelkissen von LawnFawn auf Watercolor Cardstock gestempelt und mit ZIG Markern coloriert. Dann habe ich ihn per Hand ausgeschnitten.

Auch über dem Hamster habe ich eine Sprechblase angebracht und diesmal ein "Koffer schon gepackt", ebenfalls aus dem Set Spritztour, aufgestempelt.

Auf dieser Seite der Karte habe ich als Deko einige türkisfarbene Pailetten aufgeklebt.

 

The little hamster, that barely manages to look about the pile of suitcases, is from Deliver Summer Vibes by MamaElephant. To make him to with the image on the front I also stamped it onto watercolor cardstock with Jellyfish Ink by LawnFawn and colored it with ZIG markers. Then I cut it out by hand.

I added another speechbubble above the hamster's head and this time stamped "did you pack your suitcase already?" onto it.

I added some turquoise colored sequins as decoration to this page.

 

 Öffnet man auch das zweite Seitenteil befindet sich dieses Motiv in der Mitte der Karte - und löst das Geheimnis um die auf eine Reise bezogenen Seiten zuvor.

Ich habe den oberen Teil der Karte mit Distress Ink Salvaged Patina und Peacock Feathers gewischt und dann die wie schon zuvor beschrieben hergestellten Strahlen aufgeklebt.

Darauf befindet sich dann eine Skyline von Hamburg, die ich mit dem PC ausgedruckt und per Hand ausgeschnitten habe.

 

When you open also the second side flap than this is the image you see in the center of the card - and it solves the secret about the travel related previous pages.

I inked the top of this card element with Disress Ink Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers and then adhered the rays, that I created as mentioned above.

I printed the skyline of Hamburg, cut it out with my scissors and adhered it across the sky.

 

Den unteren Teil der Kartenmitte habe ich mit schwarzem Cardstock beklebt. 

Darauf habe ich dann das Wort Hamburg aufgeklebt. Die Buchstaben habe ich aus hellgelbem Cardstock mit dem Impact Alphabet von MFT ausgestanzt und dann wieder mit Squeezed Lemonade und Mustard Seed gewischt.

Quer ober dem Wort Hamburg befindet sich ein ausgestanztes "Gutschein". Das habe ich mit einer Stanze von SU aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics helltürkis, passend zum Himmel, schattiert. 

Als Deko habe ich auch hier einige türkisfarbene Pailetten aufgeklebt.

On top I wrote the word Hamburg. I die cut the letters from light yellow cardstock using the Impact Alphabet die set by MFT, then again inked them with Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed.

Across the word Hamburg I adhered a die cut "voucher". I cut it from white cardstock and used my Copics to shade it a light aqua, matching the colors of the sky.

As decoration I added some turquoise sequins again.

 

 Auf der Rückseite der linken Klappe habe ich dann noch eine "Notiz" mit einigen Details zum Gutschein aufgeklebt. Den Text habe ich am PC geschrieben, da ich mir sicher bin, dass weder meine Mom noch mein Bruder mit vollem Namen auf meinem Blog erscheinen möchten, habe ich die Namen unkenntlich gemacht.

Den weißen Cardstock, den ich am PC bedruckt habe, habe ich an der oberen Kante mit einer Notebook Edge Stanze von MFT zugeschnitten und außerdem schwarz hinterlegt.

In die oberen beiden Ecken habe ich zwei Pins aus einem Stanzenset von Karen Burniston gesteckt und sie dabei in zwei kleine Schlitze, die ich in den weißen Cardstock geschnitten habe, gesteckt.

Und damit das Papier auch offiziell aussieht, habe ich unten rechts noch ein Sigel aufgeklebt. Es ist eines der Siegel aus dem Postage Collage Mini Seals Stanzenset von WaffleFlower und aus goldenem Mirror-Cardstock gemacht. In die Mitte habe ich ein kleines Herz geklebt.

 

Onto the backside of the left flap I added a "note" with some travel details. I created the text on my computer and since I'm sure neither my mom nor my brother want to be mentioned here on my blog with their full names I made them unreadable.

I used the Notebook Edge die by MFT to cut the top edge of the white cadstock, that I printe the text on, then matted it black.

I stuck two pins, made with a die set by Karen Burniston, into the top corners of the paper, tucking them into two tiny slits I had cut into the cardstock.

And to make the paper look official I added a seal to it. It's one of the seals from Postage Collage Mini Seals die set by WaffleFlower, cut from gold mirror cardstock. I glued a little heart into the center.

 

 Die untere Hälfte des Reisepapiers habe ich ganz leicht mit Squeezed Lemonade gewischt. Und hier könnt Ihr auch den Glanz des Siegels gut sehen.
