Heute habe ich eine eher einfache Winterkarte, die in meinem Kopf ein wenig anders aussah. Aber im Endeffekt bin ich mit Ihr doch recht zufrieden.

Today I have a simpler kind of winter card to share with you, that looked a bit different in my head. But in the end I am quite happy with the outcome.
Ich habe hier mit der passenden Outlinestanze eine große Schneeflocke aus einem Stück weißen Glitter-Cardstocks gestanzt. Die Schneeflocke habe ich bewusst so aufgelegt, dass sie links und rechts jeweils an einer Stelle übersteht und so den weißen Cardstock in zwei Teile schneidet.
I cut a large snowflake from a piece of white glitter cardstock using an outline die. I laid the die onto the cardstock so it goes over the edge at one spot on each side and cuts the white cardstock into two pieces.
Die zur Outlinestanze passende Schneeflocke - beides von SU - habe ich dann mit weißem Glitter-Embossingpulver auf ein Stück Acetate embosst und den weißen Glitter-Cardstock aufgeklebt. Die Folie ist offenbar minimal geschrumpft beim Embossen, so dass die Outlines nicht 100 % passen, aber das stört mich nicht.
Mit 3D Tape habe ich hinter das Fenster dann weißen Perlmutt-Cardstock geklebt.
Aus blau-grauem Glitter-Cardstock habe ich einen der Stitched Rectangle Frames von Create a Smile ausgestanzt. Den habe ich ober- und unterhalb der Schneeflocke auf den weißen Glitter-Cardstock geklebt und die herausgeschnittenen Teile darunter auf den weißen Perlmutt-Cardstock geklebt, so dass sie durch die Folie mit der Schneeflocke zu sehen sind.
I used the stamp that matches the outline die - both by SU - and heat embossed it with white glitter embossing powder onto a piece of acetate and adhered the white glitter cardstock pieces onto it. Seems like the acetate shrinked a bit when heat embossing the snowflake so the cut out doesn't fit 100 % anymore, but I don't bother.
Using foam tape I adhered some white shimmer cardstock behind the snowflake panel.
From blue-ish grey glitter cardstock I die cut one of the Stitched Rectangle Frames by Create a Smile. I glued that above and under the snowflake onto the white glitter cardstock and glued the cut out pieces onto the shimmer cardstock so it's visible through the snowflake window.
Den Text meiner Karte habe ich direkt auf die embosste Schneeflocke aufgebracht.
Mit einem Alphabet von Scrapbook(.)com habe ich das Wort Flakes ausgestanzt - einmal aus dem grau-silbernen Glitter-Cardstock und dreimal aus weißem Cardstock. Die Buchstaben habe ich gestackt und aufgeklebt.
Darüber und darunter habe ich dann noch die Worte Snow und are winter's flowers angebracht. Die habe ich mit silber-blauem Glitter-Embossingpulver auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und dafür Stempel von LawnFawn benutzt.
Auf das S habe ich dann noch eine Schleife aus silber-weißem Twine als Deko aufgeklebt.
I put the text on my card directly onto the embossed snowflake.
Using an alphabet die set by Scrapbook(.)com I cut the word flakes - once from the blue-ish silver glitter cardstock and three times from white cardstock. I stacked those and glued them down.
Above and under the die cut letters I adhered the words snow and are winter's flowers. I heat embossed these with silver-blue glitter embossing powder onto black cardstock using stamps by LawnFawn.
I added a double bow from silver and white twine to the S.
Als Deko habe ich einige silber-blaue Perlen auf der Karte verteilt und den Cardstock dann mit silber-blauem Glitter-Cardstock gemattet. Anschließend habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
As decoration I added some silver-blue pearls and then matted the card panel with some silver-blue glitter cardstock. Then I glued it onto a white note card.
