Zum Jahresanfang zeige ich auf dem Stampcorner Blog diese Geburtstagskarte. Mein Geburtstag ist ja erst paar Tage her, so dass ich noch voll im Geburtstagsmodus war.

To start the new year I am sharing this birthday card over at the Stampcorner Blog today. My birthday was just a few days ago so I was still in full birthday mode.
Für meine Karte habe ich im Hintergrund mit Distress Oxide Old Paper und Weathered Wood sowie einer Schablone ganz zart ein Muster aufgewischt. In echt ist es ein wenig besser zu sehen.
For this card I've added a soft pattern to the background using Distress Oxide Old Paper and Weathered Wood and a stencil. It's a bit more visible on the actual card.
Als Motiv habe ich das süße Monster verwendet - coloriert in Grün, Türkis und ein wenig Gelb mit Copics. Der Kuchen ist, wie es sich für so einen Monster-Geburtstagskuchen gehört, mit einer schönen Schicht Monsterschleim überzogen.
Das Motiv habe ich rund ausgestanzt, türkis hinterlegt und dahinter habe ich noch einen halben Happy Birthday Circle and Frame von MFT gelegt, den ich mit Distress Oxide Broken China eingefärbt habe. Außerdem habe ich hier etwas Cheesecloth mit zwischengeklebt.
Das große Birthday ist ebenfalls eine Stanze von MFT - das Happy habe ich nicht mitverwendet und durch ein kleines, gemacht mit dem Dymo, ersetzt.
Also Deko habe ich noch ein paar Luftschlangen aus dem Sending Sweet Celebrations Wishes Stempelset von MFT aufgestempelt und zusätzlich ein paar türkisfarbene Enamel Accents aufgeklebt.
For the image I went with this cute monster - colored in green, turquoise and a bit yellow with my Copics. To make this a real monter birthday cake it's covered with a thick layer of monster slime.
I've die cut a circle around the image and matted it with some turquoise cardstock. Behind it I've added half of a Happy Birthday Circle and Frame by MFT, inked up using Distress Oxide Broken China. I've also added some cheesecloth in between.
The big Birthday is also made using a die by MFT - I simply didn't use the happy here and replaced it with a small one made with my Dymo.
For decorations I've stamped a few streamers from the Sending Sweet Celebrations Wishes stamp set by MFT and also added a few turquoise Enamel Accents.
