Winter in Pink

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Ich bin immer noch fleißig am Winterkarten basteln. Aber ich brauchte mal eine Abwechslung zu all dem Blau und Türkis. Also gibt es heute mal eine Winterkarte in Pink - macht sich auch gut, finde ich.

I am still making winter cards. But I needed a break from all the blues and aquas. So today I am sharing with you a pink winter card - works great as well, I think.

 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück rosafarbenen Cardstock mit dem Frosted Filigre Embossingfolder von HoneyBeeStamps embosst. Da der auf eine 5 x 7 Inch große Karte ausgelegt ist, habe ich den Cardstock rundherum kleiner geschnitten. Dadurch geht zwar einiges des Musters verloren, aber ich finde, man sieht immer noch jede Menge davon.

Die Ränder des Cardstocks habe ich dann mit Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry und Seedless Preserves gewischt. Dann habe ich mit einem Brayer weiße Stempelfarbe auf die erhabenen Stellen aufgetragen und dann hell- und dunkelrosa farbene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

Aus weißem Cardstock habe ich dann die Bäume aus dem Winterscape Trees and Deer Set von ScrappyTails gestanzt und zusammen mit einigen Schneelagen auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Und damit alles zur rosafarbenen Karte passt, habe ich auch den Schnee mit Copics hellrosa schattiert.

 

For the background I embossed a piece of light pink cardstock with the Frosted Filigre embossing folder by HoneyBeeStamps. It's made to fit a 5 x 7 card so I cut it smaller. That makes me loose quite  a bit of the pattern, but there's still enough of it left. 

I inked the edges of the cardstock with Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves. Then I used a brayer to apply some white pigment ink to the raised parts of the pattern and also added splatters of light and dark pink metallic watercolor.

From white cardstock I cut the trees from Winterscape Trees and Deer by ScrappyTails and adhered it onto the background, adding some layers of snowy ground inbetween. And to make the ground and trees go with the pink theme of this card I shaded the snow a soft pink using my Copics.

 

 Natürlich brauchte die Szene auch ein Motiv. Also habe ich den Briefkasten aus einem Freebie von Scrappytails aus rosafarbenem und weißem Cardstock sowie matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt und ebenfalls mit Copics schattiert. Die kleinen Schneehäubchen auf dem Fähnchen, dem Schild und dem Ständer gehören eigentlich zum Zaun des Vintage Post AddOn Sets, passen aber auch hier super. 

Die kleinen Vögel sind aus dem selben Set. Ich habe sie aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert - natürlich in grau und pink.

 

Of course the scene needed an image. So I die cut the mailbox from a Freebie set by ScrappyTails from pink and white cardstock and also some matte silver metallic cardstock, then shaded the pieces with Copics. The small piles of snow I added to some pieces of the mailbox originally fit the fence of the Vintage Post AddOn set, but they also fit the mailbox.

The small birds are from the same set. I cut them from white cardstock and colored them with Copics - of course in greys and pinks.

 

 Den Text für meine Karte habe ich oben zwischen den Bäumen aufgeklebt. 

Mit silbernem Embossingpulver habe ich "Brr, it's cold outside" auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und dabei Stempel von StudioG benutzt.

Der gestanzte Text darunter ist aus dem Winterscape Trees and Deer Set und lautet eigentlich "sending warm winter wishes". Das war aber zu groß für meine Karte, also habe ich nur den "warm wishes" Teil benutzt, der praktischerweise zusammenhängt. Ich habe drei pinkfarbene Lagen aufeinander und dann etwas versetzt auf ein schwarzes Stanzteil geklebt. Die obere pinkfarbene Lage ist wieder ein wenig schattiert.

 

The text I adhered at the top of the card, between the tree tops. 

I heat embossed a "brr, it's cold outside" with silver embossing powder onto black cardstock using stamps by StudioG.

The die cut text under it is again from Winterscape Trees and Deer and originally reads "sending warm winter wishes". But that was too large for my card so I only used the "warm wishes" part, that is connected. I stacked three pink layers and glued those a bit offset onto a layer cut from black cardstock. The top most pink layer is again shaded with Copics.

 

 Zwischen die einzelnen Baum- und Schneelagen habe ich 3D Tape gesetzt. 

Als Deko habe ich dann einige rosa-irisierende Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I put foam tape between the layers of snow and trees.

I added some pink iridescent rhinestones as decoration and then adhered the card panel to a white note card.

Auch wenn ich langsam aber sicher bereit für den Frühling wäre, der Winter hat uns fest im Griff. Aber es gibt  jede Menge Kreaturen, für die der Winter nicht lang genug dauern kann. Ein paar davon tummeln sich auf meiner heutigen Karte.

I am getting ready for spring, but winter will reign for quite some time longer. And there are lots of creatures, that wish it would never end. Some of them you can see on today's card.

 

Ja, es sind Yetis!  Und so wie es aussieht, liefern die sich gleich eine epische Schneeballschlacht. Oder doch nicht...? 

Die sind natürlich in einem tief verschneiten Wald unterwegs, zu dem ich Euch gleich noch mehr erzähle.

 

There are Yetis! And it looks like they are going to start an epic snowball fight in just a second. Or not...? 

Of course those yetis are living in a deeply snowed in forest, that I will tell you more about in just a little bit.

 

 Die Yetis sind mit dem Yeti Fronte Retro Set von Impronte d'Autore gemacht - das enthält einen Yeti von vorne und die gleiche Figur auch von hinten, gegengleich, so dass man sie gegeneinander kleben und auch super für Spinner Cards benutzen kann. Der Yeti hält einen dicken Schneeball in der Hand. Aber nur auf der Rückenansicht erkennt man, dass er noch mehr davon hinter seinem Rücken versteckt....

 

 I used the Yeti Fronte Retro set by Impronte d'Autore here - it has a yeti image from both the front and the back, mirrored so you can stick them back to back and use them for spinner cards as well.  The yeti has a large snowball in his hand. But only on the back view you can see, that he's hidden quite a few more behind his back...

 

 

Was man der Karte im ersten Moment nicht ansieht - die Tanne rechts samt Yeti lässt sich aufklappen und gibt noch mehr der Szene frei. 

 

What you don't see at a first look at the card is, that the pine tree with the Yeti can be folded open and reveals even more of this scene.

 

 Und hier auf der Klappe habe ich dann auch nochmal die Vorderseite des Yeti passgenau auf den von hinten sichtbaren Yeti geklebt. So schaut der nun hinter der Tanne hervor. 

Vor der Tanne im Schnee steht ein Iglu. Das ist aus dem Set Iglu von Create a Smile.

 

And on this flap I also adhered the front view of the Yeti again, glued onto the one visible from the back. Now he's peaking from behind the pine tree.

In front of that tree there's an igloo, it comes from Iglu by Create a Smile.

 

 Und hier ist die Hauptszene der Karte. 

Die Tannen sind mit der Snowy Tree Border von MemoryBox gemacht. Die Stanze stanzt eine halbe Tanne. Ich habe sie insgesamt viermal ausgestanzt und an eine der Tannen per Partial Diecutting eine Lasche angehängt. Alle Tannen habe ich dann mit Copics schattiert und ihnen dabei einen verschneiten Look gegeben. 

Vorne im Schnee, direkt neben dem Iglu, sitzt ein kleines Yetikind und freut sich wahnsinnig über seinen ersten Schneemann. Die beiden Motive hier sind aus den Sets Happy Yeti und Yeti Family, beide ebenfalls von Impronte d'Autore. Und ich fürchte, der Kleine wird gleich Ziel all der Schneebälle seiner großen Brüder werden...

Auch hinter der Tanne links befindet sich ein weiterer Yeti, ebenfalls mit Schneeball bewaffnet. Und ja, das ist wieder die Vorderansicht...

Am Boden habe ich einige Schneelagen aufgeklebt und den bewusst eher türkis-grau coloriert. 

Alle Motive sind mit Copics coloriert, für die feinen Striche im Fell der Yetis habe ich auf die Copic-Coloration noch Polychromos gesetzt.

 

And here's the main scene on my card.

The pine trees I made using the Snowy Tree Border by MemoryBox. This die cuts half a pine tree. I cut it four times and did some partial diecutting to add a flap to one of the trees. Then I shaded all of them with Copics, loading them heavily with snow.

In the front, just next to the igloo, there's a little yeti child, all excited about his very first snowman. Those two images are from Happy Yeti and Yeti Family, both again by Impronte d'Autore. And I am afraid, that this little guy will soon be the target of his older brothers' snowballs...

There's another yeti behind the tree on the left, again all ready to throw the first snowball. And yes, it's the front view again...

I added some snowy layers to the ground and shaded them a grey-ish aqua instead of my usual blue for a change. 

I colored all images with Copics, for the fine lines in the yetis' fur I put Polychromos on top of the Copic coloring.

 

 Ganz im Hintergrund habe ich einige Birken, gemacht mit Stanzen von Marianne Design, aufgestellt. Durch die hindurch sieht man den Mond sowie einige Sterne am Himmel.

Ich habe einen kleinen Kreis aus Masking Tape auf ein Stück weißen Cardstock geklebt und den Himmel dann mit Distress Ink Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire und ein wenig Black Soot - das dann aber komplett von den Bäumen verdeckt wurde - gewischt. Rund um den Mond habe ich dann kreisförmig etwas weiße Stempelfarbe aufgetragen, das Tape abgenommen und auch den Mond ganz leicht blau gewischt. Dafür habe ich einfach die blaue Farbe, die beim Auftragen der weißen Farbe auf den Pinsel übertragen wurde, auf dem Kreis verteilt. Für die Sterne habe ich einige Punkte mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt.

Die Texte auf der Karte sind mit verschiedenen Henry's Build a Sentiment Sets von LawnFawn zusammengesetzt. Dabei habe ich für das "here" die mittleren Buchstaben eines "there's" benutzt. Alle sind weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Dann habe ich sie so auf die Karte geklebt, dass bei geschlossener Karte nur der "Winter is here" Text zu lesen ist, bei geöffnetere Karte dann der "it's snow much fun". 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

In the background I adhered  some birch trees, made using dies by Marianne Design. Through these you can see the full moon and some stars in the sky.

I cut a small circle from masking tape and glued it onto a piece of white cardstock. Then I inked the sky with Distress Ink Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and a hint of Black Soot, that got covered by the trees entirely.  I then applied  some white ink around the moon, took off the tape  and very lightly shaded the moon. I simply used the blue ink, that got transferred to the brush when applying the white ink, here. For the stars I drew some small dots with a white gel pen.

The texts on this card are made using different  Henry's Build a Sentiment sets by LawnFawn. I had to use the center letters of a "there's" to write the here. All words  are white heat embossed onto black cardstock. I then adhered them so that only the "winter is here" is visible when the card is closed, when the card is open the "it's snow much fun" text is visible. 

As a last step I matted the card panel black and glued it to a white note card.

Heute habe ich eine Karte, die schon ein wenig Valentinstags-inspiriert ist. Ich brauchte unbedingt mal eine Abwechslung von all den winterlichen Farben.

Today I have a card to share, that is a bit valentine's inspired.  I really needed a break from all the wintery colors.

 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich per Ink Smooshing mit Distress Ink Lumberjack Plaid die Mitte eines Stücks Watercolor Cardstocks eingefärbt. Bei dieser Karte war bereits einiges schief gegangen und als ich die erste Lage aufgetragen hatte, musste ich an einen großen Blutfleck denken. Und weil ich mir kurz davor in den Finger gestochen hatte, hatte ich den direkten Vergleich. Aber nach einigen weiteren Lagen sah es dann doch aus wie geplant.

Mit einem Texthintergrund von Studio Light habe ich dann oben links und unten rechts den Hintergrund etwas interessanter gemacht. Ich habe ihn per Second Generation Stamping mit schwarzer Tinte gemacht. 

Auf den Hintergrund habe ich dann noch rote Glitter-Watercolor aufgespritzt.

 

For the background I did some ink smooshing with Lumberjack Plaid to color the center of a piece of watercolor cardstock. There had already a lot of stuff gone wrong with this card and after applying the first layer I had to think of a large blood stain. I had just  pricked myelf with a needle and had the perfect comparison. But after a few more layers and spots I was happy with the color.

I used a text background stamp by StudioLight to add a bit of text to the top left and bottom right of the background. I did that with black ink, doing second generation stamping to tone it down a bit.

I then splattered some red glitter watercolor onto the background.

 

 Hauptelement auf meiner Karte ist dieser süße Bär von HoneyBeeStamps. Er ist aus dem Set Heart Hugs, ich habe ihn per Partial Diecutting ein wenig verlängert. 

Eigentlich hatte ich ihn dann mit Watercolors coloriert. Aber beim Auftragen der Augen mit einem schwarzen Glaze Pen, habe ich es geschafft, eines der Augen quer über das Motiv zu verwischen, er war nicht mehr zu retten. Also musste ich von vorne beginnen. Und weil ich mit Copics dann doch sehr viel schneller bin, habe ich den zweiten Bären dann damit coloriert.  

Auch hier sind die Augen mit einem Glaze Pen gemacht, die Nase ist mit Glossy Accents überzogen. 

Statt eines der Herzen aus dem Stanzenset  hält der Bär auf meiner Karte das herzförmige O des gestanzten Worts Love in den Händen. 

Ich habe den Bären dann noch mit Elementen aus dem Build-a-Critter Valentine's Accessoires von LawnFawn versehen. Die Fügel sind aus weißem Glitter-Cardstock, das Band, das quer über seinen Körper läuft, aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Das Band musste ich dabei auf den Kopf drehen, damit es von oben links nach unten rechts läuft. 

 

Main element on my card is this cute bear by HoneyBeeStamps. He's from Heart Hugs and I made him a bit taller by doing some partial die cutting.

I originally had colored the bear with watercolors. But when applying the eyes with a black Glaze Pen I managed to smear one of the eyes all across the face, there was no way to fix that. So I had to start all over and because I am way faster with Copics I used these for the bear. 

Again I did the eyes with a black Glaze Pen, the nose is covered with a layer of Glossy Accents.

Instead of a heart from the set the bear comes in mine is holding the heartshaped O from the word Love.

I dressed up the bear with some elements from  Build-a-Critter Valentine's Accessoires by LawnnFawn. The wings I cut from white glitter cardstock, the "belt" across his body I cut from white cardstock. I had to turn it face down to make it go from top left to bottom right. 

 

 Der Text besteht, wie schon erwähnt, aus dem gestanzten Wort love. Ich habe es mit einer Stanze von MFT aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und das Herz mit rotem Glitter-Cardstock hinterlegt. Durch das Herz habe ich dann noch einen Pfeil aus dem Valentine's Accessoires Set von LawnFawn geschoben. Der ist aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock, rotem Glitter-Cardstock und normalem helllauem Cardstock gemacht. Dann habe ich den Pfeil halbiert und ein Teil auf, eines unter das Herz gesetzt. 

Der Rest des Textes ist mit dem Label Maker Love Set von MFT und schwarzer Tinte gemacht. Ich habe die Worte einzeln ausgeschnitten und über und unter dem Wort Love angebracht.

 

The text is made from the already mentioned word love. I used a die by MFT to cut it from black cardstock and backed the heart with red glitter cardstock. Then I put an arrow from the Valentine's Accessoires set by LawnFawn through it. I made that from matte silver metallic cardstock, red glitter cardstock and regular light blue cardstock. Then I cut it apart and glued one half on top, one under the heart.

The rest of the text is made with the Label Maker Love set by MFT and black ink. I cut the words out individually and arranged it above and under the word love.

 

 Den verunglückten ersten Bären habe ich dann als Verstärkung hinter den zweiten geklebt - so wird nichts verschendet - und ihn dann mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Auch hinter den unteren kleine Worten befindet sich 3D Tape.

Als Deko habe ich ein paar schwarze Perlen auf der Karte verteilt, das Card Panel schwarz gemattet und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I glued the ruined first bear behind the second one to make him a bit sturdier - and to not waste anything. Then I glued him onto the background with foam tape. Theres also some foam tape behind the small words at the bottom.

I added some black pearls as decoration, matted the card panel black and adhered it to a white note card.

Wir machen weiter mit Winterkarten und mir war mal wieder nach einer Karte mit vielen gestempelten Motiven. Und so zeigen Euch heute die kleinen Maulwürfe, was sie im Winter so treiben...

I am continuing sharing winter cards and I felt like making a card with lots of stamped images. So today those little moles are showing you, what they do during winter...

 

Nun, eigentlich verbringen Maulwürfe den Winter ja tief unter der Erde. Das kann aber ganz schön langweilig werden. Und weil Maulwürfe auch neugierig sind, hat doch mal einer der Kopf aus der Erde gestreckt. Er hat nicht schlecht gestaunt, als er das erste Mal im Leben Schnee gesehen hat - und natürlich gleich seine Freunde zusammengetrommelt. Oma Maulwurf hat so etwas schon geahnt und für alle Mützen sowie einige Schals gestrickt. Mit denen hat sie die Maulwürfe ausgestattet und die haben nun den ersten Schnee-Maulwurf ever gebaut. 

Ich habe hier den Riverside Backdrop Landscape aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und wie Schnee leicht blau schattiert. Als Himmel habe ich etwas grau-blauen Cardstock hinter die Schneehügel geklebt. 

 

Well, moles usually wait deep down in the ground for spring. But that can be so boring. And because moles are also quite curious one of them decided to take a look at the wintery world. He was pretty surprised when he saw snow for the very first time in his life - and gathered all his friends. Grandma Mole seems to have had a feeling that this might happen and had already knitted hats for everyone and a few scarfs. She made sure the moles wear those and then sent them out, where they built the very first snow-mole ever.

I die cut the Riverside Backdrop Landscape from white cardstock and shaded the hills a light blue like snow. As the sky I glued some grey-ish blue cardstock behind the hills.

 

 Hier seht Ihr den Schneemann - äh -maulwurf. Ich habe ihn mit Stempeln aus dem Set Frosty Family zusammengesetzt. Damit er auch wie ein Maulwurf aussieht, habe ich die Schnauze eines der Maulwürfe aus A Mole Lot of Love abgestempelt und hellblau coloriert. Außerdem habe ich ihm eine Brille aus dem Set So Owlsome aufgesetzt. Die habe ich nach dem Stempeln mit einem goldenen Gelstift nachgemalt und mit Glossy Accents gefüllt. Die Knöpfe  am Körper sind mit einem schwarze Glaze Pen gemacht. 

 

Here you can see the snowman - ah, -mole. I created him using stamps from Frosty Family. To make him look like a mole I stamped the snout of one of the moles from A Mole Lot of Love and colored it a light blue. I also gave him some glasses from So Owlsome. I traced the stamped lines of the glasses with a gold gel pen and filled them with Glossy Accents. The buttons I made with a black Glaze Pen.

 

 Und hier sind die kleinen Maulwürfe - alle aus A Mole Lot of Love und A Mole Lot of Love Add-On. Die Erdhügel habe ich einfach hellblau coloriert, so dass sie wie kleine Schneehügel aussehen. 

Ich habe den Maulwürfen Mützen und Schals aus Frosty Family angezogen. Irgendwie habe ich mich beim Abstempeln verzählt und hatte eine Mütze zu wenig, also hat einer der Maulwürfe einen dicken Schneehaufen auf dem Kopf. Ich glaube, den hat ihm der Maulwurf mit der Schaufel aus Versehen drüber gekippt.... 

Und ganz vorne/unten auf der Karte befindet sich auch ein kleiner Wurm, der unbedingt auch im Schnee spielen wollte. Seine Mütze und Schal habe ich einfach beim Colorieren dazugemalt.

Hinter den Maulwürfen und dem Schnee-Maulwurf befindet sich außerdem eine Schneemauer, die die kleinen Kerle gebaut haben. Sie und die kleinen beulenförmigen Schhneehaufen sind aus dem Set Snowball Fight. 

Alle Motive auf der Karte sind mit Copics coloriert. Und die Brille des Maulwurfs ganz rechts habe ich genauso wie die des Schnee-Maulwurfs übermalt und gefüllt. 

 

And here are the little moles - all of them from A Mole Lot of Love and A Mole Lot of Love Add-On. I simply colored the little piles of soil a light blue to make them look like piles of snow. 

I dressed all moles with hats and scarfs from Frosty Family. I somehow miss-counted the hats and one of the moles ended up without one. So I simply glued a pile of snow onto his head. I think, the mole with the shovel accidently dropped it onto his head...

In the very front/bottom of the card there's even a little worm, that really wanted to play in the snow, too. I added his hat and scarf during the coloring.  

Behind the moles and the snow-mole there's  a wall made from snow, that the moles built themselves. This and the small bumpy piles of snow are  from Snowball Fight.

I colored all images on this card with Copics. The glasses of the mole on the very right I traced and filled just like I did with the glasses the snow-mole is wearing.

 

 Auf den Himmel habe ich zuerst eine Wolkenbordüre aufgeklebt und dann einige Bäume auf dem Schneehügel verteilt. Die habe ich mit einer weiteren Stanze aus Riverside Backdrop Landscape aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt. 

Außerdem habe ich hier im oberen Bereich der Karte meinen Text untergebracht. Ich habe ihn mit Stempeln aus den Sets A Mole Lot of Love, Coaster Critters und Caroling Mice zusammengesetzt und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

 

I first glued a cloud border onto the sky and then added some trees to the hills. I cut those from black cardstock using another die from Riverside Backdrop Landscape. 

I also adhered my text to this upper parts of the card. I put the saying together using stamps from A Mole Lot of Love, Coaster Critters and Caroling Mice and white heat embossed it onto black cardstock.

 

 Hinter den Figuren befindet sich 3D Tape um der Szene etwas mehr Tiefe zu geben. Nach dem Zusammenkleben habe ich dann weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. Da ich aus der Karte mit dem Blizzard, in dem die kleinen Mäuse Weihnachtslieder singen mussten, gelernt habe, habe ich die Farbe hier eher sparsam aufgespritzt. 

Zum Schluss habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock einen Rahmen gestanzt, mit dickem 3D Tape um die Szene geklebt und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling angebracht.

 

I put foam tape behind the images to give the scene some depth. After glueing it together I splattered some white acrylic paint onto the card. Since I had learned from the cards, where the little mice had to carol in a blizzard I only added a bit of the paint here.

I then die cut a frame from black cardstock and adhered it with thick foam tape, then glued the card panel onto a white note card.

 

Winterwald PopUp Karte

Heute machen wir einen Besuch im verschneiten Winterwald.

 

Hello everyone!

Today we are taking a trip to the snowy winter woods.

 

Für diese Karte kamen wieder Stanzen von ScrappyTails zum Einsatz. Und auch wenn alles super aufwändig aussieht, die Karte war recht schnell gemacht. Und ich habe nur 6 Sets kombiniert, wobei aus zweien nur jeweils eine einzige kleine Stanze zum Einsatz kam. Also auch der Aufwand an benötigtem Material hält sich in Grenzen...

  Für die Basis habe ich das Snowflake PopUp Tunnel Card Set verwendet. Ich habe die Hauptstanze fünfmal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, um viele Lagen zu haben. 

Auf die hinterste Lage habe ich hellblauen Cardstock geklebt, den ich mit Distress Ink Faded Jeans von der Mitte her etwas abgedunkelt habe.

Für die Seiten habe ich das passende Element aus dem Poinsettia PopUp Tunnel Card Set benutzt, man könnte das aber auch problemlos per Hand zuschneiden. 

Für die Front gibt es einen extra Aufleger mit Ausstanzungen. Auch den habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, mit silbernem Glitter-Cardstock hinterlegt und dann mit dünnem 3D Tape auf die vorderste Lage aufgeklebt.

 

For this card I used dies by ScrappyTails again. And even if this card looks pretty elaborate, it was made pretty quickly. I also only combined 6 die sets, and from two of these I only used one single tiny die. So even the needed material really isn't too much...

For the base I used the Snowflake PopUp Tunnel Card set. I die cut the  main die five times from white cardstock because I wanted many layers on my card.

Onto the layer in the very back I glued some light blue cardstock and inked it from the center out with some Distress Ink Faded Jeans. 

For the sides I used a die from Poinsettia PopUp Tunnel Card, but you can also cut that by hand.

There's an extra die with cut out winter elements for the front. I cut that from white cardstock as well and then put some silver glitter cardstock behind it. Then I adhered it with thin foam tape to the front layer.

 

 Ich liebe diese nach innen stehenden Spitzen mit den Schneeflocken!

Auf die vorderste Lage habe ich dann einige klare Glitzersteine als Deko aufgeklebt.

I glued some clear rhinestones onto the front as decoration.

 

 Es war richtig schwer, die Karte zu fotografieren und die hinteren Lagen sind auf den Bildern wegen der Reflektionen nicht mehr wirklich toll zu erkennen. Ich verrate Euch gleich, warum.

Auf fast allen Lagen habe Bäume angebracht. Die Tannenbäume sind aus Winterscapes Trees and Deer, die Birken aus dem Birch Tree Cover. Ich habe die Birken aus hellgrauem Cardstock gestanzt, alle anderen Elemente aus weißem Cardstock. Dann habe ich alles mit Copics schattiert. Dabei habe ich versucht, die Tannenbäume schön verschneit aussehen zu lassen. 

In einigen der Bäume und auf der vordersten Schneelage sitzen kleine Vögel. Die sind mit Stanzen aus den Sets Birch Tree PopUp Tunnel Card und Vintage Post AddOn gemacht. Aus dem letzten Set hat einer der Vögel eigentlich einen Brief im Schnabel, den habe ich einfach weggeschnitten. 

Vorne auf den ersten beiden Lagen befinden sich auch noch ein Reh und ein Hirsch. Die sind wieder aus Winterscapes Trees and Deer. Die Nasen und Augen habe ich mit einem schwarzen Glaze Pen aufgemalt.

  Auf die hinterste Lage habe ich außerdem den verschneiten Zaun aus Vintage Post AddOn aufgebracht. Der hat tolle Schneehauben und passte perfekt in die Landschaft. 

Aus dem selben Set sind übrigens auch die Schneelagen am Boden.

 

It was really hard to take pictures of this card and the back layers are hardly visible due to the reflections. I tell you why in just a bit.

I glued trees to nearly all of the layers. The pine trees are from Winterscape Trees and Deer, the birch trees from Birch Tree Cover.  I die cut the birch trees from light grey cardstock, all other elements from white cardstock. I then shaded them with Copics, trying to give the pine trees a nice snow covered look. 

There are little birds sitting in some of the trees and also on the snow layer in the front. Those I made with dies from Birch Tree PopUp Tunnel Card and Vintage Post AddOn. One of the birds from this last set has a letter in his beak, I simply cut that off. 

On the two layers in the front there are also some deer, again from Winterscapes Trees and Deer. I drew the noses and eyes with a black Glaze Pen.

Onto the back layer I also added  the snow capped fence from Vintage Post AddOnn. It has beautiful snow caps and fits perfect into the scene.

From the same set are also the snowy grounds.

 

 

 Und für den Fall, dass Ihr Euch fragt, wieso überall Schneeflocken vom Himmel fallen und die nicht nur auf den Motiven zu finden sind. Nun, diese Idee ist auch der Grund, warum die Karte so schwer zu fotografieren ist. 

Ich wollte den Schnee unbedingt überall haben. Also habe ich hinter jede der drei mittleren Lagen eine Lage Acetate gesetzt, die ich einfach hinter den jeweiligen Rahmen geklebt habe. Dann habe ich Schneeflocken mit weißer Acrylfarbe auf die Motive und die Folie gespritzt. Gut dosiert, damit kein Schneegestöber entsteht, denn natürlich sieht man alle Schneeflocken auf einmal. Sie verstärken den 3D Effekt der Karte ungemein. Und in Wirklichkeit sieht der Effekt so toll aus. Nur das Fotografieren wird  dadurch leider extrem erschwert. Ich hoffe, Ihr könnt trotzdem genug Details erkennen. 

 

And in case you're wondering, why there are snowflakes fallen everywhere on this card and they are not only on top of the images. Well, this is why taking pictures of this card is so hard.

I really wanted the snowflakes everywhere. So I put a layer of acetate behind each of the three layers in the middle. Then I splattered white acrylic paint  onto each layer - image and acetate - making sure to not add too many to each layer to not create a snowstorm. Of course you see them all at once when you look at the card but the snowflakes add so much to the depth of this card. And the effect really looks amazing in real live. Only photografing is really hard and I really hope you can still see all the details.

 

Auf den Hund gekommen...

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Bereits vor Weihnachten hatte ich mir das süße Dackelwohl-Stempelset bei CreativDepot bestellt. Offenbar haben sie es nicht mehr geschafft, es noch vor der Versandpause über die Feiertage zu versenden, so dass ich es jetzt er erhalten habe und somit nutzen kann. Aber das macht ja nichts. Tja, und so komme ich mit dieser Karte quasi "auf den Hund".

Before christmas I ordered the cute Dackelwohl stamp set by CreativeDepot, that has one of the cutest Dachshund images I know. They didn't manage to send it out before their break over the holidays and so I only got it a few days ago but had to use it right away. Well, not a big thing. Well, and so I have this winter card with a dog to share with you today.

 

Mein Dackel sollte unbedingt in einer Großstadt unterwegs sein. Also habe ich für den Hintergrund den Background Builder City Sidewalks Stempel von SweetNovemberStamps benutzt und auf ein Stück hochkant genommenen Cardstock gestempelt. Da das Haus eigentlich nicht hoch genug für dieses Kartenformat ist, habe ich erst nur den oberen Teil samt Fensters abgestempelt und dann für den Rest des Hauses den Teil - diesmal ohne Fenster - nochmal unten angestempelt. Es war etwas frickelig, aber dank Misti gut machbar. 

Außerdem wollte ich unbedingt einen nostalgischen Briefkasten auf meiner Karte, der natürlich eine gewisse Größe haben musste, damit er zum Rest der Szene und vor allem dem Hund passt. Ich wollte schon eine Stanze bestellen, habe den Briefkasten aber dann einfach mit der Hilfe der Bildersuche im Internet frei Hand gemalt. Deswegen sind die Outlines auch nicht so klar - mein Memento-Marker, mit dem ich sie gemalt habe - ist nicht mehr der neuste. Da ich kein Rot auf der Karte wollte, habe ich den Briefkasten kurzerhand grün coloriert. Den Briefschlitz ,das Schild darunter und das Wort Post sind aus dem Vintage Post Add-On Set von ScrappyTails, die passten von der Größe her ganz gut. 

Und weil so ein kleiner Hund in der großen Stadt unbedingt einen Laternenpfahl braucht, habe ich noch die Laterne aus dem Set Laterne für Bank von CreativeDepot mit auf die Karte gepackt. Ich habe sie per Partial Diecutting so verlängert, dass der Lampenschirm oben nicht mehr auf der Karte sichtbar ist, und sie dann mit Copics coloriert. Damit sind auch alle anderen Teile auf der Karte coloriert. 

Die kleinen Schneehäubchen, die ich auf allen Elementen verteilt habe, sind wieder aus dem Vintage Post Add-On Set und aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt.

 

I really wanted my dachshund to live in a large city. So I used the Background Builder City Sidewalks stamp set by SweetNovemberStamps and stamped it onto a portrait orientated piece of cardstdock. The house isn't tall enough for that kind of card so I first stamped the top part including the windows, then stamped the rest under it, leaving the windows out this time. It was a bit tricky to do, but thanks to the Misti not that much of a hassle. 

I also wanted a vintage mailbox on my card and that had to have a decent size to fit the rest of the scene and the size of the dog. I was tempted to order a die, but then I looked at different images online and simply drew one myself. That's also why the outlines aren't that clear - the Memento marker I used to draw them needs to be replaced... I didn't want to add red to the card so I colored the mailbox green. The slit for the letters, the sign under it and the word post are from Vinrage Post Add-On by ScrappyTails. Those pieces fit pretty well to my large mailbox.

And because a dog in a city for sure needs a lamp post I added the lantern from Laterne für Bank die set by CreativeDepot to my card. I did some partial die cutting to make it tall enough so the top part of the lantern isn't visible on the card anymore, then I colored it with Copics. I used these for all the images on my card.

The small piles of snow, that I added to most of the elements, are again from Vintage Post Add-On, cut from white cardstock.

 

 Und hier ist der kleine süße Dackel. Ich selbst bin ja eigentlich eher der Katzentyp, aber bei diesem süßen Kerl mit Schal und Mütze konnte ich nicht widerstehen. 

Ich habe ihn mit Copics coloriert und dem Rand der Mütze mit Polychromos einen Bündchen-Look verpasst. Dann habe ich auf Schal und Mütze mit einem weißen Gelstift kleine Punkte aufgemalt. Das hatte ich auf einer Karte eines Designteam-Mitglieds gesehen und es passt einfach super. 

Ausgeschnitten habe ich den Dackel dann mit der Schere.

 

And here's the cute little dachshund. I am more a cat person, but I just couldn't resist this cute guy with his scarf and winter hat.

I colored him with Copics and added a pattern to the brim of the hat with Polychromos. Then I added little dots to the scarf and hat using a white gel pen. I had seen this on one of the cards made by the DT and it looked just too cute.

I used my scissors to cut the image out.

 

 Den Text für meine Karte habe ich dann links der Laterne auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Ich gestehe, im ersten Moment habe ich ihn nicht verstanden, aber dann fiel der Groschen: es ist natürlich eine Abwandlung von "pudelwohl" - nur eben mit Dackel, weil das der Hund im Set ist. Ich habe ihn weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

 

I adhered the text for my card onto the background, to the left of the lantern. It's a pun - here we say we feel "happy as a poodle" but here they used dachshund instead of poodle for the text. I have to admit that it took me a little to understand it but it makes sense, since there is a dachshund and not a poodle in the set. I white heat embossed it onto black cardstock.

 

 

Ich habe den Text, die Laterne und den Briefkasten mit dünnem, den Dackel mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt.  Hinter und vor den Dackel habe ich jeweils noch eine Lage Schnee aufgeklebt, der einfach aus weißem, leicht hellblau schattiertem Cardstock besteht. 

Dem Dackel habe ich dann noch eine kleine weiße Schneeflocke auf die Nasenspitze gesetzt. 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I adhered the text, the lantern and the mailbox with thin, the dachshund with thick foam tape. I added a layer of snow behind and in front of/under the dachshund, simply shading some white cardstock a very light blue.

I put a small white clay snowflake onto the nose of the little dachshund.

As a last step I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

LawnFawnatics Challenge #212

Die erste LawnFawnatics Challenge des neuen Jahres läuft - und das Thema lautet "let's celebrate". Und diese winterliche Geburtstaskarte ist mein Beitrage dafür.

 

Hello everyone!

The first LawnFawnatics challenge of the new year has started - and the theme is "let's celebrate". This wintery birthday card is my entry for it.

 

Ich habe hier für den Hintergrund das obere Drittels eines Stücks weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Ink Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire und etws Black Soot gewischt. Die Sterne habe ich dann mit einem weißen Gelstift einzeln aufgemalt - ich wollte keinen Schneefall auf der Karte und für die paar Punkte war mir dann der Aufwand zum Splattern zu groß.

Für die Winterlandschaft habe ich dann die Stempel aus dem Set Over the Mountains Border benutzt. Sie sind mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Die Schneelagen im vorderen Bereich der Karte habe ich mit einer Borderstanze ausgestanzt und ebenfalls hellblau schattiert. 

An die Stellen, an denen ich normalerweise die weißen Highlights auftrage, habe ich auf allen mit Schnee bedeckten Teilen einen klaren Glitter-Gelstift aufgetragen. So glitzert der Schnee ein wenig.

 

For the background I inked the upper third of a piece of white cardstock with Distress Ink Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire and a bit of Black Soot.  I then added the stars with a white gel pen - I didn't want to have any snowfall on my card and for just those few stars bringing out all the splattering seemed too much of work.

For the winter landscape I then used the stamps from Over the Mountain Border. I colored them with Copics and cut them out with my scissors. The snow layers in the front of the card I cut with a border die and also shaded them a light blue.

Instead of white highlights I did them with a clar glitter gel pen on all the snowy pieces. This way the snow has a subtle glitter.

 

 Im unteren Bereich habe ich zwischen die Schneelagen neben meinen Motiven noch einige weitere Bäume aufgeklebt. Natürlich sind auch die dick eingeschneit.

Ich brauchte höhere Bäume, davon gibt es in den Sets von LawnFawn leider keine. Also habe ich den oberen Teil eines kleinen und den unteren Teil eines etwas größeren Baums aus dem Set Snow Bunnies aufeinander gestempelt - man sieht es ein wenig an den Abständen der Lagen. Aber ich finde das nicht weiter schlimm.

 

In the lower area I added some more trees between the snow layers - and of course the characters. Of course also these trees are heavily covered with snow.

I needed some taller trees but there aren't any in any set by LawnFawn. So I stamped the top of a smaller tree onto the bottom of a larger one, both from Snow Bunnies. You can tell it a bit from the different distances of the tree layers, but it doesn' bother me.

 

 Und in der Mitte der Karte befindet sich eine kleine Geburtstagsszene - die beiden Yetis überraschen den kleinen Eisbären zum Geburtstag.

 Die Yetis sind aus dem Set Yeti or Not. Nach dem Colorieren mit Copics habe ich noch mit Polychromos das Fell ein wenig akzentuiert. 

Der Eisbär und das Fischgeschenk vor ihm sind aus dem Set  Beary Happy Holidays, Luftballon, Partyhüte, Geschenk und Torte aus Party Animal. Und das Iglu im Hintergrund ist aus Snow Cool.

 

In the center of the card there's a little birthday scene - the yetis are surprising the little polar bear on his birthday.

The yetis are from Yeti or Not. After coloring them with Copics I added some details to their fur with Polychromos.

The polar bear and the fishy gift in front of him are from Beary Happy Holidays, the balloon, the party hats, the present and the cake from Party Animal. And the igloo in the background is from Snow Cool.

 

 Das große Wort Congrats haben die Yetis zwischen zwei Tannen gespannt. Es ist aus dem Set Big Scripty Words. Ich habe erst die dazugehörige Outline-Stanze aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und dann das Wort weiß aufembosst. Außerdem habe ich zwei weitere Lagen aus schwarzem Cardstock hinter das Wort gesetzt. 

Beim Colorieren des Luftballons habe ich dunkelgraue Schatten mit aufgemalt, so als würde man die Teile des Worts, die vom Ballon verdeckt sind, durch ihn hindurch sehen.

Eigentlich wollte ich die Karte etwas allgemeiner halten. Aber dann habe ich doch noch ein "have a really cool birthday" über dem gestanzten Congrats angebracht. Der Text ist wieder aus Yeti or Not und ebenfalls weiß embosst. 

 

The yetis have hung up the large word congrats between two pine trees. It's from Big Scripty Words. I first cut the matching outline from black cardstock, then white heat embossed the word onto it. I also put two more layers of black cardstock behind the die cut.

When coloring the balloon I added some dark grey shadows, like you can see the parts that the balloon covers through it.

I had planned to keep this card a bit more general but then decided to add the "have a really cool birthday" above the congrats. The text is again from Yeti or Not and also white heat embossed.  

 

 Die hinteren drei Lagen der Szene habe ich direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Die restlichen Lagen habe ich jeweils mit 3D Tape versehen.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I  adhered the three layers in the very back directly to the background. The other layers I backed with foam tape.

At the end I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Winterkarte mit Vintage-Touch

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich eine Karte mit einem Schneemann in eher gedeckten Rot- und Grüntönen, kombiniert mit etwas Türkis, gesehen. Ich weiß leider nicht mehr, wo oder von wem die Karte war. Aber die Farbkombi hat mir so gefallen, dass ich sie auch auf einer Karte umsetzen wollte. Und auf der Suche nach einem passenden Motiv bin ich dann über diesen alten Stempel von Whiff of Joy gestolper und hatte plötzlich wahnsinnige Lust, ihn zu colorieren. Außerdem passte er für mich gut zur Farbkombi. Und so ist diese Winterkarte entstanden, die definitiv einen Hauch von Vintage hat.

 

Hello everyone!

A little ago I saw a card with a snowman that was done in muted greens and reds, combined with a hint of aqua. I don't remember where I saw it or who made it. But I really liked the color combo and wanted to use it myself. And when going through my stash on the look for an image I could use I came across this old one by Whiff of Joy and really wanted to color it. It also works great with the colors I wanted to use. And that's why I made this winter card, that really has some kind of vintage vibe to me.

 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück eukalyptus-farbenen Cardstocks. In den habe ich erst mit einem ebenfalls alten Prägefolder von SU Schneeflocken eingeprägt. Von oben her habe ich dann Cardstock dann mit verschiedenen grün-grau Tönen verschiedener Marken sowie ein wenig Black Soot abgedunkelt. Nach dem Trocknen der Tinte  habe ich ein weißes Pigment-Stempelkissen auf den Cardstock gedrückt, so dass die erhabenen Schneeflocken weiß werden. 

Aus hellgrauem Cardstock habe ich dann einen Teil des Birch Tree Covers von ScrappyTail gestanzt und ein wenig mit Copics schattiert. Den Schnee am Boden habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics helltürkis eingefärbt. 

Ich habe die Birken und die Schneelagen auf den Hintergrund geklebt und davor sowie dahinter einige Schneeflocken, gestanzt aus Vellum, verteilt. 

 

The background is made from a piece of eucalyptus colored cardstock. I first dry embossed some snowflakes into it using an old embossing folder by SU. From the top down I darkened the cardstock with different green-grey shades of different brands and added a hint of Black Soot. After the ink had dried I pressed a white pigment ink pad onto the cardstock so the raised snowflakes became white.

From light grey cardstock I die cut part of the Birch Tree Cover by ScrappyTails and lightly shaded the trees with Copics. The snow on the ground I die cut from white cardstock and shaded it a light aqua with my Copics.

I adhered the trees and snowy ground layers onto the background, putting some snowflakes, die cut from vellum, behind and on top of them.

 

  Hier ist das süße Motiv von Whiff of Joy, unverkennbar von Elizabeth Bell gezeichnet. Der Stempel ist so alt, dass ich gar nicht mehr weiß, wie er eigentlich hieß. 

Ich habe ihn mit NoLine Ink von Ink on 3 abgestempelt und dann mit Copics coloriert. Zum Schluss habe ich mit Polychromos die Linien etwas definiert. Das Muster auf der Brust, das sich eigentlich auch auf dem Rock befindet, habe ich grob nachgemalt - zuerst mit einem goldenen, dann einem klaren Glitter-Gelstift. Dann habe ich mit einem feinen weißen Gelstift das Muster leicht versetzt nochmal aufgemalt. Auf dem Rock habe ich auf das Muster verzichtet. Das Motiv habe ich dann per Hand ausgeschnitten. 

Hinter dem Motiv habe ich dann einige Christrosen verteilt. Die sind mit der Christmas Rose Stanze von Gummiapan gemacht. Ich habe sie passend zum Motiv coloriert. Außerdem habe ich aus dem Mushroom and Ferns die beiden eingedrehten Farne gestanzt und ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert. Die Pflanzen habe ich dann hinter dem Motiv angebracht.

 

Here's the cute image by Whiff of Joy, easily to define as drawn by Elizabeth Bell. The stamp is so old, I don't even remember what it was called.

I stamped it with NoLine ink by Ink On 3 and colored  it with Copics. Then I used Polychromos to define some of the areas a bit more. The pattern on the chest, that originally is also drawn onto the skirt, I just re-did roughly by hand - first with a gold, then a clear glitter gel pen. Then I used a very fine white gel pen to draw it again just a tad bit offset. On the skirt I skipped  the pattern. I cut the image out with my scissors.

I put some christmas roses behind the image. Those are made with the Christmas Rose die by Gummiapan. I colored them with the same colors I also used for the image.  I also die cut two of the ferns from Mushroom and Ferns by HeroArts and colored them with Copics again. Then I put the florals behind the image.

 

 

 Ebenfalls von HeroArts ist der Schneeflocken-Kranz - Snowflake Medallion -, den ich hinter das Motiv gesetzt habe. Ich habe ihn aus Vellum gestanzt.

Der Text auf meiner Karte ist ebenfalls gestanzt. Das "happy Winter" ist Teil eines Textes aus dem Snowflake Tunnel PopUp Set von ScrappyTails, das "day" Teil eines Textes von Action. Ich habe alles dreimal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und aufeinander geklebt. Das "day" habe ich außerdem wie meinen Schnee leicht schattiert und dann alles auf die Karte geklebt.

 

Also from HeroArts is the snowflake circle - Snowflake Medallion - that I put behind the image. I cut it from vellum.

The text on my card is also die cut. The "happy winter" is part of a text from Snowflake Tunnel PopUp by ScrappyTails, the "day" part of  a die set by action. I die cut every part three times from white cardstock and stacked them. I shaded the word day just like I did the snow on my card, then adhered it to the bottom right.

 

 Hinter dem Motiv und den Blumen sowie der vorderen Schneelage befindet sich 3D Tape. 

Auf die kleinenm aus Vellum gestanzten Schneeflocken habe ich ein wenig vom klaren Glitter-Gelstift aufgetragen. Damit habe ich auch die Highlights am Text gemacht.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Onto the smaller snowflakes cut from Vellum I applied some of the clear gel pen. I also used it to add hightlights to the text.

Then I glued the card panel onto a white note card.

 

Warm Winter Wishes

Es geht weiter mit Winterkarten, diesmal aber mit einem heißen Getränk als Motiv.

I am continuing my series of winter cards, this time with a hot drink as the image.

 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich mit einem Embossingfolder von Darice einen Schneeflockenrahmen in ein Stück grau-blauen Metallic-Cardstocks geprägt. Ich habe die Ränder mit Distress Ink Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire und ein wenig Black Soot gewischt - auf dem Metallic Cardstock wirken die Farben immer heller, da sie hier nicht so toll in den Cardstock einziehen können.

Und weil es sich um weißen, mit der Metallic-Schicht bezogenen Cardstock handelt, konnte ich hinterher mit einem Sanding Block die Schneeflocken an den erhabenen Stellen aufhellen. Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

 

For the background I dry embossed a snowflake frame into a piece of grey-ish blue metallic cardstock using an embossing folder by Darice. I darkened the edges with Distress Ink Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and a bit of Black Soot - the colors always look lighter on metallic cardstock because the ink can't soak into the cardstock.

And because it's a white core metallic cardstock I was able to bring out the raised snowflakes with a sanding block afterwards. 

Then I added splatters of white acrylic paint.

 

 Die Hände mit der Tasse habe ich mit dem Warm Mug Stencilset von SimonSaysStamp gemacht und mit den passenden Stanzen ausgestanzt. Die einzelnen Teile des Motivs habe ich mit Distress Ink Salvaged Patina, Broken China, Uncharted Mariner, Peacock Feathers und Hickory Smoke gewischt. Auf die Hanschuhe habe ich dann jeweils weiß eine Schneeflocke aufembosst. Außerdem habe ich durch den Stencil hindurch das Strickmuster aufgestempelt und dafür wieder Hickory Smoke sowie den Close Knit Background von GinaK verwendet. 

 In der Tasse habe ich einen Shaker gestaltet. Dafür habe ich den inneren Bereich der Tasse herausgeschnitten und das Muster für die  Füllung auf einen Kreis aus braunem Cardstock gewischt. Dort befindet sich ein Herz, hier habe ich Scorched Timber und Black Soot benutzt.

Hinter das Tassenmotiv habe ich eine Lage Folie und - mit 3D Tape - dann die Tassenfüllung geklebt. Gefüllt habe ich den Shaker mit winzigen braunen Perlen und einigen weißen Schneeflocken.

 

I created the hands with the mug using the Warm Mug stencil set by SimonSaysStamp and cut it out with the matching outline dies. I used Distress Ink Salvaged Patina, Broken China, Uncharted Mariner, Peacock Feathers and Hickory Smoke to ink the image. 

I white heat embossed a snowflake onto each of the mittens. I also stamped the Close Knit Background by GinaK through the stencil onto the ends of the mittens, using Hickory Smoke again.

I created a shaker inside the mug. I cut out the center of the mug and inked the filling onto a circle cut from brown cardstock. There's a heart, stenciled on with Black Soot and Scorched Timber, on this circle.

I put some acetate behind the mug and then glued on the brown circle with foam tape. I filled the shaker with tiny brown beads and some white clay snowflakes.

 

 Der Text ist mit dem Cocoa Cozy Stempelset von TheGreetery gemacht. Ich habe ihn weiß auf Vellum embosst und dann mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich ihn so über der Tasse angeklebt, als würde der aus der Tasse aufsteigende Dampf das Wort Warm schreiben.

Aus dem selben Stempelset ist übrigens auch die Schneeflocke auf den Handschuhen. 

 

The text is made with the  Cocoa Cozy stamp set by TheGreetery. I white heat embossed it onto vellum and cut it out with my scissors. Then I adhered it to the card, making it look like it's written from the steam coming out of the mug.

The snowflake I stamped onto the mittens is from the same stamp set.

 

Um die Höhe des Shakers auszugleichen, habe ich auch hinter die Handschuhe und das Wort Warm 3D Tape gesetzt.

Als Deko habe ich einige weitere Schneeflocken auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I put foam tape behind the mittens and the word warm to make those the same height as the shaker.

I added some more clay snowflakes as decoration to the card, then glued the card panel to a white note card.
