Ein Teebeutel-Buch

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute möchte ich Euch ein Teebeutel-Buch zeigen, das ich für unsere Putzfrau in der Arbeit gemacht habe. Einfach so, weil ich Lust dazu hatte, ohne Vorgaben oder ähnliches. War auch mal schön! Und die Empfängerin hat sich wahnsinnig darüber gefreut.

Today I want to share a teabag book that I made for our cleaning lady at work. I made it just because, because I wanted to, no theme or anything else given. And that was pretty nice in between challenges and tutorial posts. And the recipient was so happy about it!

Ich habe das Teebeutel-Buch mit passendem Designpapier überzogen - kleine Teetassen, Teekannen und sogar Teebeutel sind darauf zu sehen -, natürlich durfte ein kleines Spitzendeckchen nicht fehlen und eine Teetasse, geschnitten mit meiner Cameo. Ein paar Blümchen runden alles ab.

Das große Herz ist aus Chipboard, ich habe es mit weißem UTEE überzogen und am Rand Vintage Pink Frantage aufgebracht.

I covered the teabag book with matching designer's paper - it has little teacups, teapots and even teabags printed on - of course I had to add a little doily and a tea cup cut using my Cameo. A few flowers make a finish. 

The big heart is from chipboard. I covered it with white UTEE and added some Vintage Pink Frantage on one edge.

An der Seite habe ich noch einen Teetassen-Charm angebracht.

To the side I added a tea cup charm.

Die Innenseiten habe ich mit dem Freundschaft Hintergrundstempel von SU bestempelt, so sieht es aus wie ein richtiges Buch...

The inner pages have been stamped with the friendship background stamp by SU, now it looks like a real book...

Okay, und jetzt gehe ich die Sonne genießen, denn heute ist mein freier Tag!

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 22. Februar 2014

Der Februar ist immer ganz schön kurz - und so haben wir beim Stempeleinmaleins heute bereits einen neuen Sketch für Euch für unsere monatliche Challenge! Auch diesmal gibt es eine Option. Sie lautet "Lieblingsstanze".

February is such a short month - and so we at Stempeleinmaleins are already starting our new challenge with a new sketch for you to follow. As always there's also an optional extra theme. For this month it's "favourite die/punch".

Meine Große ist letzten Sonntag 19 Jahre alt geworden - und hier seht Ihr die Geburtstagskarte, die ich für sie gemacht habe. Tilda auf dem dicken Ballon ist doch ideal dafür - auch wenn meine Tochter im ersten Moment dachte, Tilda wäre schwanger. LOL

My oldest turned 19 last sunday - and this is the birthday card I made her. Tilda floating around on that big balloon, I think she's perfect for her. Even if my daughter thaught Tilda was pregnant... LOL

Um den Eindruck zu erwecken, Tilda flöge  wirklich mit dem Ballon durch die Luft, habe ich im Hintergrund Wolkenpaper und ausgestanzte Wolken verwendet. Ein Geburtstagsbanner und Schnörkel durften nicht fehlen, dazu habe ich etwas Cheesecloth und Blüten kombiniert.

To keep the effect of Tilda floating around on that balloon I used some paper with printed on clouds and some die cut clouds. I just had to add a banner and some flourishes and I also added some cheesecloth and flowers.

Whiff Of Joy Challenge # 173

Schönen guten Morgen Euch allen!

"Monochrom" lautet das Thema der neuen Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy.

"Monochrome" is the theme of our new challenge over at the Whiff Of Joy World of Ideas Blog.

Ich habe seit Ewigkeiten keine monochrome Karte mehr gemacht, dabei liebe ich das Thema doch so. Und das ist das schöne an Challenges, man wird ermuntert, neue oder lange nicht mehr angewandte Techniken (wieder) zu verwenden. Und so ist diese Karte mit der süßen "Du bist in meinem Herzen" Maya entstanden.

I haven't made a monochrome card since ages, and this though I love these so much. But that's the great thing about challenges, you get encouraged to try new or do older things (again). And so I ended up with this card using cute "You're in my heart" Maya.

Neben dem Motiv habe ich außerdem die tollen Poststempel aus dem Set "Französische Vintage Poststempel" verwendet, die füllen prima kleine optische Lücken.

Der Text ist ebenfalls von Whiff Of Joy, hat allerdings schon ein paar Jährchen auf dem Buckel und ich kann ihn im Shop nicht finden. 

Und auf dem Innenteil der Karte, der rechts hervorschaut, habe ich das Kleeblatt aus dem Set "2014" benutzt, das passte so schön zum Text.

Next to the image I used two of the great "French Vintage Poststamps", they are great to fill in little open spaces.

The saying is also by Whiff Of Joy, but it's an older one and I can't find it in the shop.

And on the inside of the card, that is peaking out at the right side, I used the clover from the Set "2014" because it goes so great with the saying ("good luck").

This week we at Stempeleinmaleins show you how to make a gift card box...

Meine Box ist ganz elegant in schwarz, weiß und türkis gehalten. Oben auf der Box habe ich einen Stempel von SU angebracht, hinterlegt mit einem Label und dem Text auf einem Fähnchen. Außerdem habe ich noch einen Schnörkel von Magnolia, zwei Rosen und etwas Band zum Verschließen verwendet.

My box is made with a elegant touch using black, white and turquoise. On top of the box I used a stamp by SU with a label underneath and a little banner with the saying on top.

I also used a flourish die by Magnolia, two roses and some ribbon to keep the box closed.

Öffnet man die Box, ist ein kleines Fach für eine Gutscheinkarte eingearbeitet. Die ist ganz einfach mit einem Stanzer gemacht.

Once you open the box you find a extra space for a gift card. This is made quite easily using a punch.

Und vorne in der Box ist außerdem Platz für etwas Süßes...

And there's also some space for some candies in the box...

Magnolia Down Under Challenge # 229

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

"Flowers and hearts" ist das Thema der neuen Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under.  Und wie man sieht, muss man damit nicht unbedingt eine Valentinstag-Karte gestalten. Ich habe eine Hochzeitskarte für meinen Bruder gewerkelt, der letzten Samstag geheiratet hat...

"Flowers and hearts" is the  theme we picked for our new challenge over at Magnolia Down Under. And as you can see this does not mean you have to make a valentine's day card. I made a card for my brother, who got married on saturday...

Da war das Brautpaar natürlich der perfekte Stempel, "lebensecht" coloriert, also schwarze Haare für den Bräutigam, blonde für die Braut. 

Auf der Karte habe ich einige "Techniken" reaktiviert, die ich die letzten Monate nicht verwendet hatte: gefärbte Ränder, Nähte...

Die Fähnchen sind mit dem Computer beschriftet.

The wedding couple was the perfect image, colored "like in real life", means black hair for the groom, blonde for the bride.

I did a lot of techniques on this card that I haven't done in ages like inked edges, sewing...

The banners are printed using my computer and home printer.

Ich habe zwei Chipboard-Herzen auf der Karte platziert. Die habe ich zuerst mit weißem UTEE überzogen und dann mit Vintage Blue Frantage Embossingpuder verziert.

Rosen dürften bei einer Hochzeit natürlich nicht fehlen und der Schlüssel zum Glück hat auch Platz gefunden.

I added two chipboard hearts to my card. Those have been covered with white UTEE and then I used Vintage Blue Frantage on the edges.

Of course roses have to go on a wedding card and there's also room for a key shaped charm.

Hier das zweite Herz. Neben ein paar blauen Halbperlen habe ich auch noch eine weiße Buchecke verwendet.

Und im Hintergrund seht Ihr mit silbernen Herzen bedrucktes Vellum von SU.

Here's the second heart. Beside a few blue halfpearls I also added a white book corner.

And in the background I used the vellum by SU that is printed with silver hearts.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 08. Februar 2014

Es ist schon wieder Samstag und somit gibt es eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins. Auch diesmal haben wir eine Idee für den Valentinstag für Euch - aber auch für eine Hochzeit kann ich sie mir sehr gut vorstellen: die Box mit Herzverschluss.

Another saturday has come and so it's time for the newest issue of Stempeleinmaleins. Also this week we have an idea for Valentine's Day for you - but I can also see this as a wedding decoration or for a wedding gift: the box with heart closure.

Ich habe die Box aus weißem Cardstock geschnitten. Auf die Seiten habe ich Rechtecke aus rotem Cardstock gesetzt und darüber dann geprägtes Transparentpapier aufgeklebt. Das gibt einen wunderbar edlen Touch.

Als Dekoration dienen drei Rosen, etwas weißes Chiffon-Band und ein Schlüsselcharm.

I cut the box from white cardstock. I put red rectangles cut from red cardstock on the sides and on top of these I put some dry embossed vellum. This adds a very elegant touch.

As decoration I went with 3 roses, some white ribbon and a key-shaped charm.

Damit der Herz-Verschluss auch richtig zur Geltung kommt, habe ich die Verschlussteile nochmal aus rotem Cardstock ausgeschnitten und obenauf gesetzt.

Und schon war sie fertig... ;)

To make the heart closure pop a little more I cut these part again from red cardstock and put them on top of the white ones.

And voilá - the box was done... ;)

Whiff Of Joy Challenge # 172

Heute startet die neue Whiff Of Joy Challenge - und das Thema diesmal lässt allen Spielraum, denn wir haben uns für "alles geht" entschieden.

Today the new Whiff Of Joy Challenge starts - and this fortnight's theme is an easy one because we decided to go with "anything goes".

Ich habe diese Herz-Box gewerkelt. Sie ist mit der Cameo geschnitten, die Datei ist aus dem Silhouette Store.

Dekoriert ist sie mit dem süßen Pinguin Trio. Ich habe sie einzeln ausgeschnitten und dahinter Wolken aus dem Die-Lights-Set Geschachtelte Wolken.

Rundherum habe ich außerdem Schnörkel, neben welchen von Magnolia auch das Die-Light-Set Romantische Schnörkel 2 gesetzt.

Der Text ist mit dem Computer gedruckt.

I made this heart box. It's cut using my Cameo, the cutting file is from the Silhouette Online Store.

I used the cute Penguin Trio to decorate it. I cut them out seperatly and put some clouds from the Die-Light Set Nested Clouds.

I put some flourishes around, beside some Magnolia ones I also used the Die-Light Set Romantic Flourish 2.

 Saying has been printed with my home printer.

In den Bögen der Herzen sind zwei Löcher für den Verschluss. Dadurch habe ich Schleifenband gezogen, einen Herz-Charm mit festgeknotet und darüber zwei Rosen angebracht.

There are two holes in the round parts of the heart. I put some ribbon through it, tied a heart charm to it and added two roses above the bows.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 01. Februar 2014

Es ist Samstag, der 1. Februar! Das heißt, es ist Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins - aber auch kurz vor Valentinstag. Darum gibt es von uns heute eine Anleitung für diese Box mit Herzfenster.

It's saturday, february 1st. That means, it's time for a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins - and also close to Valentine's Day. So for today's tutorial we picked this box with a heart window.

Hinter das Herzfenster ist Folie geklebt, so dass nichts herausfallen kann. Ich hatte leider nichts passendes zum Füllen zu  Hause, so dass Ihr Eure Phantasie ein wenig spielen lassen müsst...

Dekoriert habe ich relativ einfach mit zwei Rosen und einem Text von Stampin'Up. Außerdem habe ich die Box mit weiß-rosa-rotem Designpapier überzogen, bedruckt mit Xs und Os.

Behind the window there is some transparency so nothing of the content can fall out. Sorry, I didn't have anything to fill in that matched colorwise so you have to imagine how it looks filled...

I didn't add much decoration, just two roses and a saying by Stampin'Up. I also covered the box with a red, white and pink designer's paper that has Xs and Os printed on all over.

Oben auf der Box habe ih noch die "Bride Bow" von Magnolia angebracht.

Heute startet die  neue Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under. Und diesmal heißt es "DooHickeys only". Ihr sollt also nur DooHickey Dies und keine gestempelten Motive verwenden...

Today our new challenge over at Magnolia Down Under goes live. And this time it's "DooHickeys only". So just use DooHickey dies and no images on your projects...

Ich habe diese Schattenbox gemacht und sie mit jede Menge Blumen gefüllt. Dazu habe ich die verschiedenen Blumen von Magnolia ausgestanzt, übereinandergelegt und in Form gebracht. Neben ein paar Blättern gibt es auch ein paar kleine Blüten rundherum. Und oben in der Ecke habe ich einen Schmetterling angebracht, bestehend aus 3 Lagen: unten der Umriss mit etwas Überstand geschnitten, in der Mitte in hellblau den Schmetterling ausgestanzt und obenauf nochmal eine Lage Vellum. Das sieht so schön zart aus. Hier ein Bild aus einer anderen Perspektive:

I made this shadow box and filled it with a bunch of flowers. Therefor I cut different shapes and sizes of flowers, layered them and brought them into shape. Beside a few leaves I also added some smaller flowers. And on the top right corner a butterfly has sat down. It is made from 3 layers: the general shape cut from purple cardstock, on top of that the butterfly cut from light blue cardstock and on top of that again just the shape cut from Vellum. This adds a beautiful soft touch. Here's another picture:

Es ist Zeit für die neuste Challenge beim Stempeleinmaleins - die erste in 2014! Auch dieses Jahr gibt es jeden letzten  Samstag im Monat einen Sketch für Euch. Auch diesen Monat gibt es wieder eine Option - passend zur Jahreszeit natürlich LIEBE.

It's time for our new challenge at Stempeleinmaleins - the first one in 2014! Also this year we have a new sketch every last saturday of the month. Of course we also have an optional theme for you to follow - and of course it's LOVE this time of the year.

Ich habe dieses süße Kärtchen gewerkelt - mit einem der neuen Magnolia-Motive, die hier auf meinem Schreibtisch auf Verarbeitung warten... Den Hasen fand ich von Anfang an einfach zu süß! Ich habe einen Briefumschlag aus Vellum gefertigt und dort ein extra-Kärtchen mit dem Motiv eingesteckt:

I made this cute card - using one of the new Magnolia images that are sitting on my desk and waiting to be inked up... I loved this little bunny from the first time I saw it!

I made an envelope from Vellum and put in an extra card with the image stamped on:

Natürlich durften diverse Herzchen und pink nicht fehlen!

Die Karte, auf die ich das Motiv gestempelt habe, ist mit dem neuen Die-Light Winzige Herzen von Whiff Of Joy gemacht. Der stanzt nicht nur die Herzenbordüre, sondern die ganze Karte auf einmal!

Die Sprechblase mit dem Herz ist ebenfalls von Whiff Of Joy und im Stempelset "Das ist Dezember" zu finden, bzw. in kleinerer Variante auch im Set  "2014".

Ich fand eine Feder als Deko gut, so in Anlehnung an das kuschelige Fell des Häschens...

Der Pfeil ist ebenfalls von Whiff of Joy und im Die-Lights-Set "Pfeile" enthalten.

Of course I had to add a few hearts and some pink!

The card I stamped the image on is cut using the new Die-Light Tiny Hearts by Whiff Of Joy. It not only cuts the hearts but the whole card!

The speach bubble with the heart is also by Whiff Of Joy and comes in the stamp set "This is December" or also in a smaller size in the Set "2014".

I liked the feather on the card, it remembers me of the fluffy fur of this little cutie...

And finally also the heart is a die by Whiff Of Joy and can be found in the Die-Lights set "Arrows".

Whiff Of Joy Challenge # 171

Wunderschönen Mittwoch Morgen Euch allen!

Heute startet eine neue Challenge auf dem Whiff Of Joy Blog und für diesmal haben wir uns eine Farbkombi ausgesucht, die Ihr auf Euren Werken benutzen sollt: pink, creme und braun.

Happy wednesday everyone!

Toay there is our new Whiff Of Joy challenge starting and for this fortnight we have chosen a color combo for you to use on your projects: pink, cream and brown.

Ich habe diesmal ein Knallbonbon gemacht. Die seitlichen Verschlüsse sind herzförmig - somit also ideal für Valentinstag.

Als Deko habe ich den Bär vom Stempel "Ich werde mich um Dich kümmern" abgestemplt und mit der Punktetechnik coloriert. Das Loch in seinem Knie sieht man so nicht...

Das Herz ist das zweitkleinste der neuen "Geschachtelte Herzen" Die-Lights. Außerdem habe ich wieder das tolle Alphabeth verwendet. Um die  Buchstaben etwas mehr hervorzuheben, habe ich Linien mit einem weißen Marker darauf gezogen. Und auch die Girlande mit den kleinen Herzen ist aus dem neusten Release: das Herz-Banner.

For this challenge I made a bonbon box. The closings are heart shaped and so this is a perfect little treat for Valentine's Day.

For my decoration I stamped just the bear from the image "I will take care of you" and colored him in using the dot technique. The whole in his knee is hidden with this technique...

The heart is the second smallest from the new "Nested Hearts" Die-Lights. I also used the great alphabeth dies again. To make the letters pop a little more I painted some inner lines with a white pen. And also the garland with those little hearts is from the newest release: the Heart  Banner.

Und nun zu meinem Werk:

So, here's my creation: 

 Ich habe hier gleich eine ganze Reihe der neuen Produkte verwendet, um dieses Valentinstag-Geschenk zu fertigen. 

Zuerst ist da natürlich mal das Motiv XOXO Kitty: die beiden kleinen Mäuse, die in Gemeinschaftsarbeit diese süße Karte für Kitty gebastelt haben...

 Aber das ist noch nicht alles: die herzförmige Geschenktasche ist mit einem der neuen Dies geschnitten, und glaubt mir: da ist jede Menge Platz drin für ein kleines Geschenk! Ich habe von oben eine abgeschnittene Butterbrot-Tüte hineingeklebt, so dass seitlich nichts rausfallen kann. Außerdem sieht es mit dem weiß im Hintergrund meiner Meinung nach einfach "fertiger" aus.

Auch das Wort LOVE ist mit neuen Die-Lights geschnitten. Aber Ihr bekommt nicht nur dieses Wort, sondern ein komplettes Alphabeth! Und die Größe ist perfekt - weder zu klein, noch zu groß für eine Karte oder Box.

Der kleine Tag mit den Herzen ist aus einem recht alten Set "Lieblicher Anhänger", aber es ist einfach immer wieder passend! Und daran habe ich einen Schlüssel aus einer der neuen Charm-Boxen - es ist Nummer 15 - angebunden.

 Here I used not only one but a few of the new products to make this valentine's gift.

First of all there is the image XOXO Kitty: these two little mice that worked together to make this cute card as a valentine's gift for Kitty...

But that's not all: the hearshaped giftbag is cut using one of the new Die-Lights, and believe me: there is a lot of space in it for a pretty gift! I glued a white treat bag that I cut the bottom off into the giftbag so nothing can fall out on the sides. I also think it looks more complete with the white in the background.

Also the word LOVE is cut using a new Die-Light set. But you don't only get the letters for this word, you get a full alphabeth set! And it's perfect in size - not too big but also not too small for a card or box.

The small tag with the hearts is from one of the first sets of Die-Lights: "Lovely Tags" but it's one of my all-time favourites. And to this I attached one of the key charms from one of the new Boxes of Charms (it's number 15 already!).

 Ich habe die Katze und Mäuse jeweils in weiß coloriert. Auf diese Weise kommen das Rot und Rosa noch besser raus. Und wer findet weiße Mäuse nicht süß?

I colored the cat and mice white. So the red and pink pop out more. And who don't likes white mice?

Stempeleinmaleins Ausgabe vom 18. Januar 2014 und Whiff Of Joy Preview Day 2

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute gibt es wieder eine Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins. Diesmal mit einem kleinen Tischkalender. Eigentlich in der Form einer Twisted Easel Card, aber ich habe wohl nicht richtig aufgepasst - und so ist mein Tischkalender aus einer normalen Easel Card in den Maßen 11 x 11 cm entstanden.

Today there is a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins. We show you how to make a little desk calendar. Well, it was meant to be made from a Twisted Easel Card but somehow I missed that twisted part - and so I made a "normal" Easel Card measuring 11 x 11 cm.

Der Kalender ist wunderbar klein, braucht also nicht viel Platz auf dem Tisch - und meiner wird mir den Schreibtisch im Büro etwas bunter machen.

This calendar is really small and so it don't takes too much room on your desk - mine will make my place at work a little more colorful.

Auf meinem Kalender könnt Ihr eine weitere Vorschau eines der neuen Whiff Of Joy Motive sehen: "Du bist in meinem Herzen Maya". Den Ballon habe ich mit viel Glitzer überzogen und den Kalender in valentinstag-tauglichen Farben gestaltet. Eigentlich heißt es, pink und rot passen nicht zusammen - wieso eigentlich?

On my calendar you get another preview of the new images by Whiff Of Joy coming on monday: "I heart you Maya". The balloon has been covered with a lot of glitter and I used those typical valentine's day colors. Well, people say pink and red don't go well together - why? I think they are wonderful together!

Die Karteikarte mit dem Herzenrand ist neben den Herzen ein weiteres neues Die-Light. Die ist perfekt für alle Arten von Einsteck-Karten, dann sieht auch das Innenleben nicht langweilig aus. Ich habe die Herzen mit rotem Cardstock hinterlegt.

Das "2014" ist ebenfalls aus einem neuen Stempel-Set: es heißt einfach "2014" und falls Ihr gerne Daily Alben gestaltet, dann ist es definitiv ein Must-Have!

The card with the heart banner is, beside the hearts on the left, another new Die-Light. It's perfect for every kind of pull out cards, then also the inside looks simply great. I put some red Cardstock behind the hearts.

"2014" ist from another new set of sentiments - it's simply called "2014" and if you do those daily albums then this for sure is a must-have!

Monday will be the day - the very first images by Whiff Of Joy for 2014 will be available. And like last year we from the DT are giving you a few days of previews of these images...

Valentinstag steht ja vor der Tür - und so sind auch die neuen Motive perfekt auf diese Gelegenheit ausgelegt. Diese süße Biene ist das erste Motiv, das ich Euch zeigen darf - es heißt "Bee Mine". Und der Text ist ebenfalls auf dem Stempel enthalten...

Valentine's Day is coming close - and so these new images are made to fit this holiday perfectly. This cute bee is the first image I am able to show you. It's called "Bee Mine". And the sentiment comes with the image!

Hier ist ein Close-Up... Die Flügel sind mit irisierendem Glitter überzogen, die Biene natürlich braun-gelb coloriert und für den Valentinstag-Touch habe ich Herz, Mütze und Schal in rot bzw. rot-weiß coloriert. 

Here's a close-up... The wings have been covered with iridescent glitter, the bee is colored in yellow and brown, of course, and for the valentine's touch I colored the heart, hat and scarf in red and red-white.

Ich habe diese flache Box gewerkelt, hinein passt etwas Schokolade und eine kleine Karte mit Valentinsgrüßen.

Auf der Box könnt Ihr auch einige der neuen Die-Lights sehen: das große Herz, das im Set "Nested Hearts" mit Herzen in 5 verschiedenen Größen kommt und die Bordüre im Hintergrund. Sie ist eigentlich länger, meine Box war nur zu kurz ;). Die Bordüre hat den Namen "Waterfall of Hearts".

I made this flat box that holds some chocolat and a little card with some valentine's greetings.

On my box you can also see some of the new Die-Lights: the big heart, that comes in the set "Nested Hearts" with hearts in 5 different sizes, and the border in the background. It's actually bigger/longer in real life but my box was too short. ;) This border is named "Waterfall of Hearts".

Sorry, diesmal kein Foto der verwendeten Copics. Ich habe alle neuen Motive auf einmal coloriert, die Stifte extra in meine Tasche gepackt - und als ich sie wieder in mein Bastelzimmer zurückgetragen habe, ist mir einer der Henkel aus der Hand gerutscht und alle 376 Copics haben sich über den Fußboden verteilt... Und da hatte ich dann keine Chance mehr, die verwendeten Stifte rauszufinden. 

Sorry, I don't have a picture of the Copics I used to color this image this time.. I colored all the new images the same time, put the markers on a seperate place in my bag - and when I brought them up in my stamproom again one of the handles slipped out of my hand and all 376 Copic markers were mixed up on my floor... I had no chance to find out again which markers I used to color this cutie.

Ja, hier war es bisher recht ruhig, in diesem neuen Jahr. Ich habe Mitte Dezember wieder angefangen zu arbeiten und der Alltag muss sich erst einspielen...

Wenn auch einen Tag zu spät habe ich es trotzdem geschafft, ein Projekt für unsere neue und erste Challenge 2014 für Magnolia Down Under zu werkeln. Das ist ja ein australischer Blog und dort ist jetzt Sommer. Und somit lautet unser erstes Thema für dieses Jahr "Summer Delight".

Hello everyone!

I know, it's been kind of quiet here this year so far. I re-started working the middle of december, after 13 years of being a staying at home mom, and so everyday life is still in the process of getting re-arragend...

Even if I am one day late - I  made it to finish my project for our very first challenge in 2014 over at Magnolia Down Under. This is an australian blog and they have summer this time of the year. And so our theme for this first challenge is "Summer Delight".

Ich wollte diesen Wohnwagen von SVG-Cuts schon seit Ewigkeiten schneiden. Und für diese Challenge ist er doch einfach perfekt! Wir lieben das Campen und fast alle unsere Sommerurlaube verbringen wir auf einem Campingplatz. Also gehören Wohnwagen - okay, eigentlich ein Zelt - und Sommer für mich untrennbar zusammen. Er war einfacher zu bauen als gedacht... Eine Girlande mit den Buchstaben für SUMMER und drei kleine Blümchen machen den Wohnwagen sommerlich - und Tilda im Badeanzug sitzt auf der Stufe vor der Tür, bereit um einen Tag am Strand zu verbringen...

I wanted to make this trailer by SVG-Cuts since ages. And it's just the perfect project for our challenge theme! We love camping and nearly all our summer holidays are spent on campsites. So a trailer - okay, we usually have a tend - and summer belong together to me. It was easier to put together than I expected to... A banner with the letters for SUMMER and three tiny flowers make the trailer look summerish - and Tilda in her swimsuit is sitting on the stair in front of the door, ready for a fun day at the beach...
