Heute möchte ich Euch eine Karte zeigen, die ein wenig abgekupfert ist. Ich hatte vor einiger Zeit auf YouTube eine Karte gesehen, bei der das süße Chamäleon von LawnFawn durch Drehen an einem Rad die Farbe ändert. Und da es da jetzt die Reveal Wheel Stanze gibt, ist das ganz leicht umzusetzen. Und das habe ich hier getan.

Today I am sharing a card that is slightly covered. Quite some time ago I've seen a card on YouTube where the cute chameleon by LawnFawn is changing its color when you turn a wheel. Now that there is the Reveal Wheel die this is really easy to make. And that's what I did here.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich den Make Your Mark Background von MFT mit grüner Tinte auf hellblauen Cardstock gestempelt. Ich habe ihn absichtlich nicht sehr sorgfältig eingefärbt, so wirkt er nicht so plakativ. Aber ein rein hellblauer Hintergrund wäre zu fad gewesen.
For the background I've used the Make Your Mark Background by MFT and stamped it onto light blue cardstock with green ink. I purposely didn't ink it up too carefully so it isn't that eyecatching. But a pure light blue background would have been too plain.

Today I am sharing a card that is slightly covered. Quite some time ago I've seen a card on YouTube where the cute chameleon by LawnFawn is changing its color when you turn a wheel. Now that there is the Reveal Wheel die this is really easy to make. And that's what I did here.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich den Make Your Mark Background von MFT mit grüner Tinte auf hellblauen Cardstock gestempelt. Ich habe ihn absichtlich nicht sehr sorgfältig eingefärbt, so wirkt er nicht so plakativ. Aber ein rein hellblauer Hintergrund wäre zu fad gewesen.
For the background I've used the Make Your Mark Background by MFT and stamped it onto light blue cardstock with green ink. I purposely didn't ink it up too carefully so it isn't that eyecatching. But a pure light blue background would have been too plain.
Und hier ist mein Motiv. Den schwarzen Hintergrund mit dem Griffloch habe ich mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Reveal Wheel Set gemacht. Eigentlich ist die länglich - nach dem Stanzen habe ich das ausgestanzte Teil in der Stanze weiter nach oben geschoben und nur unten nochmal gestanzt, um ein Quadrat zu erhalten. Passend dazu habe ich dann einen hellblauen Aufleger geschnitten. Auf diesem Aufleger habe ich dann ein paar der Fancy Flowers, mit weißem Embossingpulver embosst und mit Brushos eingefärbt, aufgeklebt. Darüber kam der Text.
Der Text kommt zusammen mit dem süßen Chamäleon - wie auch der Ast und die Herzen. Diese Karte ist am einfachsten, wenn man die passende Stanze zu einem Motiv hat. Ich habe das Motiv oben mittig aus beiden Lagen ausgestanzt. Das Chamäleon habe ich dann mit StazOn auf Folie gestempelt und von hinten passend in den Ausschnitt geklebt. Da ein Chamäelon mit bunten Augen dann doch komisch aussieht, habe ich das nochmal auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, ausgeschnittne und auf die Folie geklebt.
Passend unter dem Chamäleon habe ich den Ast, den ich etwas verlängern musste, aufgeklebt.
Das Drehrad, das ebenfalls im Reveal Wheel Stanzenset enthalten ist, habe ich regenbogenfarbig eingefärbt. Dreht man nun am Rad, ändert das Chamäelon die Farbe - wie das ein Chamäelon eben so tut.
And here is the image. I've die cut the black background with the cut out half circle with one of the dies from the Reveal Wheel set. It's originally a rectangle - so after die cutting it completly I've put the cardstock in the die again, changing the position, and only cut the upper line to create a square. Matching my square I've then cut a matching shape slightly smaller from light blue cardstock. Onto this I've put a few of the Fancy Flowers, embossed with white embossing powder and colored in with Brushos. Then I've put the saying on top of the flowers.
The saying comes together with the chameleon, as do the heart and the branch. This card is easiest to make if you have a matching die for your image. So I've cut the chameleon shape from both layers of cardstock from the top middle. Then I've stamped the chameleon onto Acetate using black StazOn ink and glued the acetate to the back of the cardstock, ligning it up with the die cut shape. Since a chameleon with colored eyes would look weird I've stamped the eye again onto white cardstock, cut it out and glued it on top of the Acetate.
Under the chameleon I've placed the branch which I had to make a bit longer.
The wheel, that also comes in the Reveal Wheel die set, is cut from white cardstock. Then I've used Distress Ink to color it in rainbow colors. Once you turn the wheel now, the chameleon changes its color - like chameleons are meant to do.
