Als ich die erste Karte mit dem Stempelset Fall Friends aus dem September-Release von MFT gesehen hatte, wusste ich, dieses Set muss ich haben. Und das nur wegen der süßen Eichhörnchen, die darin enthalten sind! Aber seht sie Euch doch an...!

When I saw the first card made with the Fall Friends stamp set from the september release by MFT I knew I had to have it. Just because of the cute squirrels that come in it. But just look at those...!
Und so habe ich auch meine erste Karte mit den kleinen süßen Tierchen gemacht. Die Karte ist eher CAS. Sie besteht aus zwei Lagen und hat noch ein kleines Extra eingebaut... ;)
And so I used those for the first card I made after getting the stamps. It's kind of a CAS card. It's made from two layers and it also has a little extra inculded.... ;)
Hier kann man die beiden Lagen ein wenig erkennen.
Auf die hintere Lage habe ich zuerst den Baumstamm gestempelt, coloriert und mit Masking Tape abgedeckt. Dann habe ich mit Distress Oxide Spiced Marmelade und Mustard Seed den orange-gelben Hintergrund aufgewischt. Mit ein paar Wassertropfen habe ich die helleren Stellen kreiert und als Deko ein paar orangefarbene Enamel Accents aufgeklebt.
Auf die vordere Lage habe ich das Laub - ich habe den Stempel einmal abgestempelt, diesen Bereich maskiert und daneben nochmal einen Teil der Blätter abgestempelt, um den Laubhaufen zu verlängern -, das Eichhörnchen und den großen Kürbis aus dem Stempelset Witch Way is the Candy abgestempelt. Nach dem Colorieren habe ich nur oben nah an den Motiven ausgeschnitten und den unteren Teil des Cardstocks komplett drangelassen. Darauf kam dann noch ein Text aus dem ebenfalls neuen Stempelset Sassy Pants Best Friends.
And here you get a better look at those two layers.
First I've stamped the treetrunk onto the back layer, colored it in and covered it with masking tape. Then I've used Distress Oxide Spiced Marmelade and Mustard Seed to create the yellow-orange background. By sprinkling a few drops of water onto the ink I've created the white spots and I also added some orange Enamel Accents here.
For the front layer I've stamped the leaves - I stamped them once, covered the area and stamped about half of the stamp again next to the first one to make the leave covered area larger -, the squirrel and the big pumpkin from the Witch Way is the Candy stamp set. After coloring the images in I've cut close to the stamped lines only on the upper part of the images, leaving the cardstock under them completly the size of my card. There I've added a saying from the also new stamp set Sassy Pants Best Friends.

Ich habe hier die Double Slide Loop Slots Stanze benutzt und so eine Schiebekarte gestaltet. Und so kommt das zweite Eichhörnchen aus dem Kürbis. ;) Dafür habe ich den Deckel des Kürbis nach dem Colorieren zickzackförmig abgeschnitten und an den Schnittkanten mit einem schwarzen Fineliner Linien gezogen. So sieht es so aus, als wäre der Stempel von Haus aus so gewesen. Den Deckel des Kürbis habe ich mit 3D Tape am Kopf des Eichhörnchens befestigt. So ist der geschlossene Kürbis von der Höhe her identisch.
Here I've used the Double Slider Loop Slots die to create this moving card. And now the second squirrel comes out of the pumpkin. ;) After coloring it in I've cut off the top of the pumpkin in a zig zag and used a black Sharpie to draw some lines along the cutlines. Now it looks like the pumpkin stamp was made this way. The top of the pumpkin was glued to the head of the squirrel using dimensionals so when the pumkin is closed - and the squirrel is hidden - the whole pumpkin is one layer.
Und weil es im Video vielleicht etwas schnell ging, habe ich hier nochmal ein Bild vom Eichhörnchen, während es aus dem Kürbis herausschaut. Und so passt dann auch der Text perfekt zum Motiv, oder?
And since it was a bit quick in the video I've taken a picture of the squirrel looking out of the pumpkin. And now even the saying goes perfectly with the image, right?
