Auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog zeige ich heute eine weitere Karte mit dem süßen Stempelset Hug it Out von MFT. Das Motiv, das ich für die heutige Karte benutzt habe, war eigentlich das, weswegen ich das Set unbedingt wollte.

Over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog I am sharing another card with the cute Hug it Out stamp set by MFT today. This image, that I've used for today's card, was the one that made me buy this set.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück hellgrauen Cardstock verwendet und ihn dann mit vielen verschiedenen Texten, alle zum Thema Freundschaft und Knuddeln, bestempelt. Dafür kamen ganz viele verschiedene Stempelsets zum Einsatz - ich habe mir einfach die Texte rausgesucht, die mir am besten gefallen haben - und die einzeilig und jeweils alle Worte in einer Schriftgröße geschrieben sind. Sie sind aus den Sets: I miss your Hugs, Pile of Fun, Always bring a Smile, Bitty Bears, Perfect Couple, Anything but Basic Friendship, Stars Above, Raving Raccoons, Purrfect Friends sowie Greetings and Salutations. Die Texte habe ich jeweils mit grauer Tinte, die etwas dunkler als der Cardstock ist, abgestempelt und die paar Zwischenräume, die sich ergeben haben, mit einem Herz gefüllt.
Dann habe ich den Cardstock mit einem Stück hellrosa-weiß kariertem Designpapier aus dem Set Petit Gingham gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
For the background I've used a piece of light grey cardstock and then stamped a bunch of different text, all about friendship and hugs, all over it. I've picked sentiments from a lot of different stamp sets, simply picking the ones I liked, only making sure they were just one line and all words within one sentiments written in the same height. They are from the sets: I miss your Hugs, Pile of Fun, Always bring a Smile, Bitty Bears, Perfect Couple, Anything but Basic
Friendship, Stars Above, Raving Raccoons, Purrfect Friends as well as
Greetings and Salutations. I've stamped them with grey ink that is a bit darker than the cardstock. The few spaces I ended up with between some of the sentiments are filled with a solid heart.
Then I've matted the background with a piece of light pink and white checked patterned paper from the Petit Gingham paper pad and glued it onto a white note card.
Und hier ist das süße Motiv. Ich kann mir das auch prima für Muttertag oder eine Karte für eine Erzieherin vorstellen...
Man hätte es sicher bunter colorieren können. Da aber mein Hintergrund auch eher gedeckt gehalten ist, habe ich hauptsächlich Grau- und Brauntöne verwendet. Nur die Herzen, die Ohren der Tierchen und die Bäckchen sind rosa coloriert. Die Herzen sind zudem klar beglittert. Alle Motive, auch die Herzen und Blumen, sind aus dem Hut it Out Stempelset.
Damit die Tierchen nicht in der Luft hängen, habe ich eines der Grounding Elements aus dunkelgrauem Cardstock ausgestanzt und als Boden unter ihnen angebracht.
And here's the cute image. I can imagine this being used for a mother's day card or a card for a teacher.
I guess I could have more or more bold colors to color the image. But since my background is kind of toned down I also used mainly greys and browns for my coloring. Only the hearts, the ears of the animals and their cheeks are colored in a soft pink. The hearts are also covered with some clear glitter. All images, also the hearts, are from the Hug it Out stamp set.
I didn't want all these animals float in the air so I've die cut one of the Grounding Elements from dark grey cardstock and glued it underneath the image.
Im unteren Bereich der Karte habe ich noch einen Text aufgebracht.
Dafür habe ich ein Hugs aus demselben Designpapier, das ich auch zum Matten des Hintergrunds benutzt habe, ausgestanzt. Die Schatten aus dunkelgrauem Cardstock habe ich per Hand geschnitten. Dann habe ich, wieder aus zwei weiteren Stempelsets zusammengesetzt, den Satz Your Hugs are the Best damit geschrieben. Die beiden Textteile sind aus den Sets Sunsnhine and Friendship sowie Ewe are the Best. Ich habe sie mit weißem Embossingpulver auf dunkelgrauen Cardstock embosst.
In the lower area of the card I've added a text.
I've die cut a Hugs from the same patterned paper that I've also used to mat my background. The shadows around the letters are hand cut. Then I've used another two stamp sets to create a "your hugs are the best". The two text stamps are from the Sunshine and Friendship stamp set and the Ewe are the Best set. I've white heat embossed them onto dark grey cardstock.
