Letzte Woche habe ich Euch ja bereits zwei Sneaks mit den Mai-Neuheiten von Stampcorner gezeigt. Aber ein Set habe ich Euch bisher vorenthalten. Bis jetzt - denn heute zeige ich eine Karte damit auf dem Stampcorner Blog.

Last week I already shared two snekas with the may release from Stampcorner. But there's one set I haven't shown you yet. Until now - because I am sharing a card with this set today over at the Stampcorner Blog.
Hier habe ich Papiere aus den Paper Packs 01 und 04 von Stampcorner gewählt. Das dunkelblaue habe ich etwas kleiner als meinen weißen Kartenrohling zugeschnitten.
Aus dem hellblau-weiß gestreiften habe ich einen Streifen zugeschnitten, weiß gemattet und einen Kreis daraus ausgestanzt. Dann habe ich das gemattete Papier mit 3D Tape auf das dunkelblaue geklebt.
Auf den unteren Bereich des Streifens habe ich meinen Text aufgeklebt. Die Buchstaben für das Wort ahoi sind mit dem Spell Anything Alphabet Stanzenset von MFT aus kupferfarbenem Spiegelcardstock ausgestanzt und hellblau gemattet. Die Mattung habe ich per Hand rund um die ausgeschnittenen Buchstaben geschnitten. Die Buchstaben sind mit 3D Tape auf den Papierstreifen aufgeklebt. Um das I habe ich ein Stück blau-weißes Twine gewickelt, das obere Ende habe ich durch den Kreisausschnitt gelegt, am unteren Ende habe ich einen Anker befestigt, den der kleine Fuchs vorsichtshalber mal ausgeworfen hat. Anker und Fuchs sind beide aus dem selben Stempelset.
Unter den gestanzten Buchstaben habe ich noch einen weiteren Text aufgeklebt. Der ist aus dem Stempelset Kleiner Kapitän. Wie Ihr es von mir inzwischen gewohnt seid, habe ich hier die Anordnung der Worte geändert - statt unter- habe ich sie nebeneinander abgestempelt. Und ja, ich gebe zu, da betreibe ich inzwischen auch ziemlich ungeniert Operationen am Stempel. Ich habe den Text schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und dann ebenfalls mit dem kupferfarbenen Spiegelcardstock gemattet.
Here I used two different patterned papers by Stampcorner. The dark blue is cut slightly smaller than the white card base.
Then I've cut a strip from the light blue and white striped paper, matted it white and die cut a circle from it and glued the matted paper with foam tape onto the dark blue paper.
Onto the lower area of the strip I've added my text. I've die cut the letters for the word ahoy from copper colored mirror cardstock using the Spell Anything Alphabet die set by MFT and then matted it light blue. I simply cut around the letters, that I had glued onto the light blue cardstock, by hand. I glued the letters down with foam tape. Around the i I've wrapped a piece of blue and white twine. The top end is put through the cut out circle, to the lower part I've tied an anchor, that the little fox has dropped just in case. Fox and anchor are both from the same stamp set.
Under the die cut letters I've added another text, this one means "my little captain". I've changed the arrangemets of the words again, like I do quite often. And yes, I have to admit that I have no scruples anymore to do stamp surgery. I've stamped the text black onto white cardstock and matted that again with the copper colored mirror cardstock.
Und hier seht Ihr endlich das Motiv genauer. Ist der kleine Fuchs nicht einfach zu goldig? Ich habe ihn mit Copics coloriert und einige Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift hinzufügt. Dann habe ich ihn ausgeschnitten und seinen Bauch hinter den ausgestanzten Kreis, seinen Kopf obenauf geklebt.
Rund um den Ausschnitt im Designpapierstreifen habe ich noch einen Ring, ebenfalls aus dem kupferfarbenen Spiegelcardstock gestanzt, geklebt. So sieht es aus, als würde der Fuchs durch ein Bullauge schauen. Und ich fand, das Kupfer passt perfekt zur Farbe des Fuchses.
And here you finally get a closer look at the image. Isn't this little fox the cutest? I've colored him with Copics and added a few highlights with a white gel pen. Then I've cut him out and glued his belly behind the circle, his head on top.
Around the circle cut out in the patterned paper I've glued a ring, also cut from the copper mirror cardstock. Now it look like he's looking through a porthole. And I thought, the copper goes perfectly with the color of the fox.
Und weil ich nicht schon wieder darüber jammern will, wie schlecht Spiegelcardstock zu fotografieren ist, habe ich hier fast kommentarlos noch ein Bild für Euch. Es zeigt aber auch die verschiedenen Lagen der Karte gut.
Zum Schluss habe ich also Deko noch ein paar hellblaue irisierende Steinchen auf die Karte geklebt.
And since I don't want to talk about how hard it is to photograph mirror cardstock I just share this picture with you. It also shows the different layers of the card pretty good.
In the end I added a few light blue iridescent rhinestones to the card.
