Eine Rakete geht auf Reisen

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Bei Create a Smile gibt es zu jeder Bestellung eines ihrer Motive als Mini gratis dazu. Da die einfach zufällig mit ins Kuvert wandern, passiert es natürlich, dass man mal ein Stempelchen doppelt hat. Dafür gibt es in der Create a Smile Friends Facebook Gruppe einen Tauschpost. Die Rakete scheint mich wirklich zu mögen, ich habe sie schon dreimal erhalten. Aber in der Tauschgruppe findet sich immer jemand, der gerade diesen Stempel braucht und einen im Angebot hat, den man selbst braucht. Da ich keine Karte mehr auf Lager hatte, wollte ich eine zur Mini-Rakete passende Karte werkeln. Denn den Stempel mit Karte zu versenden ist für mich Ehrensache. Und so ist dieses Kärtchen von meinem Tisch gehüpft.

When you place an order with Create a Smile Stamps, you get the mini version of one of their images as a free gift with your order. You get whatever image they grab first and of course there comes the day when you get one you already have. That's why there is a swap post in the Create a Smile Friend Facebook group. This little rocket really seems to like me, I already got it three times. Luckily there's always one in the group that needs exactly that stamp and has something in return that you don't have. I didn't have a finished card at hand and wanted to make one that goes with the little image. Because I always send a card with the stamp. And so this card was made.

Ich habe hier die Focal Stanze ungefähr mittig aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks gestanzt. Dann habe ich den Cardstock von dieser Ausstanzung aus mit Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire und Black Soot gewischt. Anschließend habe ich den Hintergrund erst mit Wasser und dann mit goldener Metallic Watercolor bespritzt.

Nach dem Trocknen habe ich den fertigen Hintergrund mit gelbem Cardstock hinterlegt und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I've die cut the rays with the Focal die from about the center of a piece of white cardstock. Then I've inked it up with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire und Black Soot. I spritzed some water and some golden metallic watercolor onto the cardstock.

After the color had dried, I matted the finished background with yellow cardstock and glued both layers onto a white note card.

Da ich ja die Rakete in einem Umschlag versende, fand ich die Idee ganz süß, sie auf der Karte aus dem Umschlag herausfliegen zu lassen.

Der Umschlag und die Sterne - die habe ich hier auf den Kopf gestellt - sind aus dem Stempelset Glückspost. Ich habe alle Motive mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich sie mit 3D Tape mittig auf den Strahlenkranz geklebt.

Die Highlights sind wieder mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht, für die goldenen Glitzerpünktchen, die von den Sternen herunterfallen, habe ich einen goldenen Gelstift verwendet.

Since I was sending the rocket in an envelope I thought it would be a cute idea, to let it fly out of an envelope on my card.

The envelope and the stars - I put them upside down here - are from the Very Special Mail stamp set. I colored all images with Copics and cut them out by hand. Then I glued them onto the center of the circle of rays using foam tape.

For the highlights I've used a white gel pen and added a few sparks of glitter falling from the stars with a gold gel pen.

Dann brauchte meine Karte noch Text. 

Das Happy-Mail-Banner oben links auf der Karte ist aus dem Stempelset Bear Mail.

Und da die Karte noch ein wenig fad war, habe ich auch unten rechts noch einen zweiten Text hinzugefügt. Der ist wieder aus dem Stempelset Glückspost und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Den habe ich dann weiß gemattet und den Text aufgeklebt.

Ganz zum Schluss habe ich noch einige kleine sternförmige Pailetten auf der Karte verteilt - den den Glanz könnt Ihr auf dem Bild oben mal wieder besser sehen.

Then my card needed some text.

The banner with the happy mail text is from the Bear Mail stamp set.

And since I thought the card was still missing something I added another text to the bottom right. This one means "finally.... not a bill" and is again from the Very Special Mail (that's the english version) stamp set. I've white heat embossed it onto black cardstock, matted it white and glued it onto the card.

In the end I added a few golden star shaped sequins to my card - and as usual you get a pic taken at an angle to see the shine on the card.
