Heute haben wir beim Stempeleinmaleins wieder eine Sketch Inspiration für Euch. Und für meine Karte habe ich endlich das Fröhliche Weihnachten Überall Stempelset von Create a Smile eingeweiht. Das hatte ich - blöderweise - letztes Jahr kurz nach Weihnachten geordert. Aber jetzt kam es zum Einsatz!

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are doing another sketch inspiration today. And for this card I've finally inked up this stamp set by Create a Smile. With my bad timing I've ordered it shortly after last year's christmas. But now it was finally used!
Den Hintergrund meiner Karte habe ich mit Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Chipped Saphire und Black Soot gewischt und ein wenig Wasser aufgespritzt. Dann habe ich mit Wasser verdünnte weiße Acrylfarbe als Sterne aufgesprenkelt.
The background was made using Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Chipped Saphire and Black Soot. Then I've first sprinkled some water over it, then added the stars by spritzing some white acrylic paint mixed with a drop of water over the background.
Die Weltkugel habe ich mit Copics coloriert. Wie es sich für den Winter gehört, habe ich die Nordhalbkugel ordentlich eingeschneit.
Santa mit seinem Schlitten ist aus einem Set von Newton's Nook. Nach dem Aufstempeln habe ich ihn mit Masking Fluid abgedeckt und dann die Linien darüber gestempelt. Damit die so richtig toll glitzern, habe ich sie doppelt mit Ägäisch Silber Sternenstaub-Embossingpulver von Hein Design embosst.
Der Text auf der Karte ist weiß aufembosst.
Für die Mattung des Motives habe ich einfach weißen Cardstock am Rand ebenfalls mit dem glitzernden Embossingpulver überzogen und dann alles auf einen Kartenrohling geklebt.
The globe is colored with Copics. Typically winter I've covered the north part of earth with a thick layer of snow.
Santa and his sleigh are from a set by Newton's Nook. After stamping him onto the earth image I've covered him with Masking Fluid and then stamped the lines over it. To make those glitter I've heat embossed those doing two layers of the Ägäisch Silver Stardust embossing powder by Hein Design.
The saying is white heat embossed onto the card.
To mat the image I've used a piece of white cardstock and covered the edges with the same glittery embossing powder, then glued everything onto a white note card.
