Well, we crafters are always a bit ahead of time, so today I am having a sneak at the future. Or better: Tabby the fortuneteller does.
I wanted to make a card for the new year but wanted it to be different. This card, that I am sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today, is what I came up with.
Der Hintergrund ist mit Distress Oxide Shaded Lilac, Hickory Smoke und Black Soot gewischt.
Für den Vorhang habe ich den Take the Stage Stanze von MFT aus grau-blauem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert. Außerdem sind sie mit Pixie Dust von Ink on 3 beglimmert.
The background was made using Distress Oxide Shaded Lilac, Hickory Smoke and Black Soot.
For the curtains I've die cut the Take the Stage die by MFT from greyish blue cardstock and added some shading with my Copics. They are also covered with glitter by adding some Pixie Dust by Ink on 3 mixed with water.

Star der Karte ist natürlich Tabby. Die ist aus dem Set Fortuneteller Tabby von LawnFawn. Ich hatte das Set schon ein wenig länger, aber jetzt kam es endlich zum Einsatz.
Sie ist ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert. Die Kugel ist im Inneren ausgeschnitten, dann erst mit Acetate und dann mit Glitzercardstock hinterlegt.
Auch der Text ist aus dem Tabby Stempelset. Er ist mit weißem Embossingpulver auf einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstock embosst.
Die Zahlen sind gestanzt und mit Moosgummi hinterlegt, um für ein wenig Dimension zu sorgen. Auch die Vorhänge sind übrigens mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.
Und was sieht Tabby nun in ihrer Kristallkugel?

Tabby is colored with Copics. I've cut out the inner part of her ball, then put some acetate and then some glitter cardstock behind the cut out.
Also the saying is from the Tabby stamp set and white heat embossed onto a strip of black cardstock.
The numbers are die cut and glued onto some cut from craft foam to add some dimension. By the way, also the curtains are glued down with dimensionals.
And what's Tabby seeing in her ball?
