Die Weihnachtszeit hat offiziell begonnen - und wie immer stehen viele Termine an. Trotzdem soll das Basteln nicht zu kurz kommen, aber wenn es mal schnell geht, ist man ganz froh drum. Eine Idee für eine schnelle Kartenart zeigen wir Euch heute beim Stempeleinmaleins: die Ombre-Karten.

Christmas season has officially started - and as always there are lots of things to do. But of course we all can't live without crafting for too long. So we're happy if the projects can be done quickly. Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing an idea for quick cards today: ombre cards.
Ich habe hier den Ho Ho Ho Background von MFT weiß auf weißen Carstock embosst und mit Distress Ink Blueprint Sketch im Ombre Look eingefärbt.
Das Joy ist ebenfalls von MFT. Den Cardstock habe ich mit dünnem Moosgummi hinterlegt und dann gemeinsam ausgestanzt, so hat er auf der Karte etwas Dimension. Außerdem habe ich das ausgestanzte Wort noch mit klarem Embossingpulver mit Glitzer überzogen.
Der Rest des Textes ist wieder weiß auf weiß embosst und mit Distress Ink eingefärbt.
Über den Himmel fliegt noch Santa mit seinen Rentieren, gemacht mit einer Stanze von Kulricke.
Zum Schluss habe ich den Hintergrund schwarz gemattet und auf eine weiße Grundkarte geklebt.
I've white heat embossed the Ho Ho Ho Background by MFT onto white cardstock and then inked it up with Distress Ink Blueprint Sketch in an ombre look.
The Joy is also by MFT. I've covered the cardstock with white craft foam and then run both layers through my Big Shot to die cut the word. That adds some dimension to the card. I've also covered the die cut word with clear embossing powder with glitter.
The rest of the saying is again white on white heat embossed and then inked up with Distress Ink.
Santa in his sleigh is flying across the sky, made using a die by Kulricke.
In the end I've matted my cardstock black and glued it onto a white note card.
