Eine einfache Karte zum 50.

Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Letzten Freitag waren wir auf einen 50. Geburtstag eingeladen.

Hello everyone!
Friday we were invited to a 50th birthday. Since I don't have time for any special boxes during christmas season I've made this pretty simple card that's perfectly fitting the birthday "boy".

He wished for money to add to his fund for the golf tour across England he plans to go on. So I've turned whole England into one 18 hole golf course. For the outlines of the countries I'd first tried to trace and then ink them with Distress Oxides. It looked horrible. But then I remembered my Cameo. I've simple cut the countries from white cardstock, inked them green with Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles and grey for the other parts of Great Britain with Hickory Smoke and glued them onto a piece of white cardstock. Before I had inked that blue to turn it into water by using Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers.
The wind rose by SU is stamped directly onto the "ocean", the sayings by MFT are stamped onto little banners that I've glued on the card.
Now I only needed some little red flags to mark the holes. I've die cut some tiny triangles from red cardstock and glued them all across England. Then I've used a black fineliner to add the poles and holes and a white gelly marker for the numbers.
