Auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige ich heute eine Rocking Card. Und sie soll uns alle daran erinnern, dass man für Träume nie zu alt ist!

Over at the Stampcorner Blog I am sharing this Rocking Card today. It's made to remind us all that we're never too old to dream!
Hier habe ich die Karte flach hingelegt und mit einem kraftfarbenen Hintergrund fotografiert. So erkennt man die Details besser.
Meine Rocking Card ist ein klein wenig kleiner ausgefallen als vielleicht für Rocking Cards üblich. Aber ich wollte, dass die Fee nicht irgendwie verloren wirkt.
Here I've put the card flat on my table and put a kraft colored cardstock behind it. That makes it easier to see the details.
Maybe my Rocking Card is a tad bit smaller than those cards usually are. But I didn't want the fairy to look like lost in space.
Die Fee sitzt zwischen zwei Lagen Wolken, die ich mit den Puffy Clouds Borders von LawnFawn gemacht habe. Natürlich passten sie von der Breite her nicht genau mit einem Wolkenende zur Breite meiner Karte, so dass ich sie dort per Hand abrunden musste. Aber das fällt eigentlich nur durch die nicht vorhandenen Sticklinien dort auf.
Die Fee ist mit Versafine Clair Nocturne auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und möglichst nah an den gestempelten Linien per Hand ausgeschnitten.
Die Sterne sind mit der Starry Skies Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht - eigentlich ja der Abfall der Stanze - und an dünnen Folienstreifen festgeklebt. Die habe ich dann zwischen den Wolken befestigt.
Und weil mir noch irgendetwas fehlte, habe ich noch einen Fast-Regenbogen, der nur aus silbernem und blauem Glitzercardstock besteht, über die Fee gespannt.
The fairy is sitting between two layers of clouds, made with the Puffy Clouds Borders die set by LawnFawn. Of course they didn't fit the width of my card so I had to hand cut the edges. But I think you only see that because of the missing stitches there.
The fairy is stamped onto white cardstock with Versafine Clair Nocturne and then cut out by hand as close to the stamped lines as possible.
The stars are made with the Starry Skies die by LawnFawn - actually these are the pieces you throw away when using the die - and fixed to thin strips of acetate. The other ends of the strips are glued between the cloud borders.
And since I felt there was something missing I've put a "rainbow", that's only made from silver and blue glitter cardstock, across the sky.
Der untere Teil der Rocking Card ist mit blauem Designpapier mit Punkten beklebt. Aus dem selben Papierblock ist auch das gelbe Designpapier, ebenfalls mit Punkten, das ich für die Sterne und auch das Wort Dream verwendet habe. Für das Wort habe ich mit den Handletter Alphabet Stanzen von CraftEmotions die einzelnen Buchstaben ausgestanzt, zusammengesetzt und dann auf schwarzen Cardstock geklebt. Darumherum habe ich dann per Hand geschnitten um eine Mattung zu erhalten.
Die süßen Outline-Wolken sind von heißen tatsächlich Cute Outline Clouds und sind von MFT.
The lower part of the Rocking Card is covered with blue designer's paper with dots. From the same paper pad is also the yellow designer's paper - also with dots - that I've used for the word "dream" and the stars. The word is put together from single letters cut with the Handletter Alphabet dies by CraftEmotions, then glued onto a piece of black cardstock. I've then hand cut around the whole word to get a black matting.
The cute clouds are really called Cute Outline Clouds and are by MFT.
