Auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog zeige ich heute eine See Through Shaker Card. Die Idee habe ich bei Jennifer McGuire gesehen und musste es einfach ausprobieren. Es gibt da mehrere Möglichkeiten und ich werde demnächst mehr davon zeigen, aber ich hatte nicht die passende Stanze da. Und das bei mir als Stanzen-Junkie! Aber ich habe schon für Abhilfe gesorgt... ;) Für die heutige Karte musste ich also den etwas komplizierteren Weg gehen.

Over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog I am sharing a See Through Shaker Card today. I've seen this idea over at Jennifer McGuire and just had to give it a try. There are different ways to do this and I'm going to share more about it soon. But I didn't have the right die. Hard to believe that this happened to me as a die junkie! But I've already changed that.... ;) So for today's card I had to got the more complicated way.
Jetzt aber zurück zur heutigen Karte. Da Valentinstag näher rückt war es Zeit, das Kissing Booth Stempelset von MFT einzuweihen. Und so habe ich auch den heutigen Post betitelt. Denn "Küsse-Verkaufsstand" klang irgendwie doof.
Die Front der Karte ist durchsichtig, so dass der im Hintergrund eingebauter Shaker auch dort zu sehen ist. Das seht Ihr weiter unten besser.
Die Karte besteht eigentlich nur aus einem Rahmen. Die Birch Trees habe ich hinzugefügt, so dass die Karte mehr Stabilität hat. Die Bäume habe ich mit Copics ein wenig schattiert.
Now back to today's card. Valentine's is coming closer and it was time to ink up the Kissing Booth stamp set by MFT. That's also what I've named today's post - translating that in german really sounds awkward.
The front of the card is open so you can see the shaker that creates the background can be seen also there. You'll see that better later.
The card is made from just a frame. I've added the Birch Trees to make my card more sturdy. I've used my Copics to add some shading to the trees.
Hier habe ich einige der Stempel aus dem Set mit Masking zusammengestempelt und so diesen Kissing Booth gestaltet. Der kleine Pinguin ist noch fleißig am Dekorieren. Die Motive sind ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert.
Vor und hinter den Verkaufsstand habe ich Gras gesetzt, das ebenfalls mit dem Rahmen verbunden ist und so die Front stabilisiert. Für das Gras habe ich zwei verschiedene Stanzen aus dem Grassy Hills Stanzenset verwendet.
Here I did some masking and used different stamps from the stamp set to create this kissing booth. The little penguin is still busy decorating it. The images are again colored with Copics.
In front of and behind the booth I've added some grass, that's also connected with the frame and adds more stability. For the grass I've used two of the dies from the Grassy Hills die set.
So sieht die geöffnete Karte aus.
Da die Copics durchs Papier geblutet hatten habe ich hinten an den Verkaufsstand nochmal eine Lage weißen Cardstock geklebt, damit es schöner aussieht. Außerdem habe ich hier eine zweite Lage des dunkleren Grases mit aufgeklebt.
This is the opened card.
Since my Copics bleeded through the paper I've added a second layer of cardstock behind the booth to make it look nicer. I've also added another layer of the darker grass here.
Und das ist die Rückseite der Karte. Ich denke, trotz meines kraftfarbenen Fotohintergrundes kann man das Durchsichtige erkennen. Gefüllt ist der Shaker mit rosaroten Pailetten, kleinen rosafarbenen Perlen sowie durchsichtig-holografischen Herzen. Für die müsst Ihr etwas genauer schauen.
In die Mitte der Karte habe ich ein Label auf die Folie geklebt, die ich vorher bestempelt habe. Dafür habe ich einen Text aus dem Kissing Booth Stempelset getrennt aufgestempelt und die Worte kisses und you! durch in rosarot gestempelte Worte ersetzt. Dafür habe ich das Mini Well Connected Alphabet Stempelset verwendet. Auf die Rücksete des Shakers habe ich dann ebenfalls noch ein Label aufgeklebt, um den Kleber vom vorderen Label zu verdecken.
And this is the back of the card. I think even with my craft colored background you can see that it's see through. The shaker is filled with dark pink sequins, tiny pink beads and some see through holographic hearts. For those you have to look really close.
In the middle of the transparency I've added a label that I stamped a saying on before. I've used one of the sayings from the Kissing Booth stamp set, divided it into two lines and replaced the words kisses and you! with some that I've stamped with pink ink using the Mini Well Connected Alphabet. To the back of the shaker I've added another label to cover up the glue from the front label that was visible there.
Und auch wenn einen Shaker zu filmen nicht gerade einfach ist, schließlich soll keinem schwindlig werden durch die schnellen Bewegungen, habe ich ein kleines Video für Euch aufgenommen. Hier sieht man auch nochmal, dass die Karte durchsichtig ist.
And even if filming a shaker is pretty hard since I don't want you to get sick from the fast motions I need to make to make the shaker elements move - I've taken a little video. Here you also see that the card is see through.
