Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 08. Februar 2020

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Valentine's is just around the corner. This day isn't such a big deal here in Germany but I still like to use it to tell the people in my life how important they are to me. Honestly, we all do that way too rarely. And I'm not talking about family here. There are so many more people that deserve to be told how happy we are to have them in our lives. Over at Stempeleinmaleins Blog we are sharing a quick little gift idea today - and it can be done so quickly that it even is perfect for mass production.

It's a little pocket for a lollipop - and it can be made without any glueing!

I've made my pocket out of red designer's paper with tiny white dots. The back of the paper is white - and the big white area at the top wasn't that pretty. So I've simply cut a smaller square from the same designer's paper and glued it down there, leaving a small white frame around it.
The front flap, that can also simply be folded downwards (something that doens't look too exciting with a designer's paper with a white back), was tucked into one of the triangles. That does also hold the pocket closed without any glue.
I've decorated my pocket with this cute bear by Mama Elephant and two texts from the Label Maker Love stamp set by MFT. The bear is colored with Copics, the balloons are also covered with Glossy Accents.
Now I only needed to tie a bow around the stem of the lollipop - which, by the way, is heart shaped - using pink twine and my gift was ready.
