Ich wollte mal eine One Layer Card machen, um sie heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog zu zeigen. Und bin wieder mal gescheitert. Das ist einfach nichts für mich - auch wenn, wie hier, nur ganz wenige Elemente zum Einsatz kommen.

I had planned to make a One Layer Card to share it on the Stampcorner Blog today. And once again I failed. I just can't do it - even if there are very few elements on the card, like on this one.
Ich hatte das Motiv auf ein Stück Cardstock in Kartengröße gestempelt und coloriert, es aber später kleiner geschnitten und mit einer der Wave-Stanzen, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock, hinterlegt. Dann habe ich es auf ein Stück Designpapier mit Regenbogenverlauf sowie auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. Das Designpapier passte einfach perfekt zu meinem Motiv.
I had stamped the image onto a piece of watercolor cardstock, cut the size of a note card, then colored it. Later I decided to cut it down and put one of the Wave die cuts, cut from black cardstock, behind it. I attached it to a piece of rainbow patterned paper and then onto a white note card. I think, this patterned paper goes perfectly with my image.
Motive und Sprüche sind aus Sets, die während der Adventskalender-Aktion erschienen sind: Fienchen mit Blume sowie das Textset Sei Mutig.
Die süße kleine Maus habe ich mit der No-Line Fade Out Tinte von InkOn3 auf Watercolor Cardstock gestempelt und dann mit Watercolor coloriert. Dabei habe ich hinter der Blume, deren Blütenblätter ich in Regenbogenfarben coloriert habe, jeweils Strahlen in der entsprechenden Farbe aufgetragen, ganz zart, damit die Blume nicht untergeht.
Da ich beim Colorieren mit Watercolors nie 100 % saubere Linien hinbekomme, habe ich nach dem Trocknen des Motivs noch ein wenig mit Polychromos nachgearbeitet, die Augen, Nase und Schnurrhaare mit einem schwarzen Fineliner nachgemalt und mit einem weißen Gelstift einige Highlights hinzugfügt.
Neben die Maus habe ich die kleine Blüte aus dem Set Fienchen mit Blume dreimal ebenfalls mit dem No-Line Kissen abgestempelt, coloriert und dabei mit einem grünen Polychromo einige Grashalme als Boden dazugemalt.
Mit Masking Tape habe ich anschließend die Motive abgedeckt und Copic Opaque White, vermischt mit ein klein wenig Wasser, in kleinen Tropfen auf den Cardstock gespritzt. Das gibt so einen etwas traumhaften Look.
Die Texte habe ich mit schwarzem Versafine Clair direkt oberhalb und neben dem Motiv auf den Watercolor Cardstock gestempelt.
Zum Schluss habe ich dann noch ein paar klare Glitzersteinchen auf der Karte verteilt.
The images and texts on my card are from sets, that were release during the Stampcorner adventcalendar: Fienchen mit Blume and a text set.
The cute little mouse I stamped with the No-Line Fade Out ink by InkOn3 onto watercolor cardstock and colored it with watercolors. While I did the coloring, I put the color that I used for each flower petal behind the petal, just watered down a lot to not take all the attention from the flower itself, creating rays radiating from the flowers.
Since I never get 100 % crisp lines when doing watercoloring, I used my Polychromos to define the lines after the watercolor had dried. I re-drew the eye, nose and whiskers with a black finelienr and added the highlights with a white gelpen.
Next to the mouse I stamped the small flower from the set three times, again using the No-Line Coloring ink pad, and colored those as well, adding some grass as a ground with a green Polychromo.
I covered the images with masking tape and spritzed some Copic Opaque White, mixed with a bit of water, onto the cardstock, creating only small drops of color. This adds a nice dreamy touch.
The texts mean "follow your own path" and "discover the world". I stamped those with black Versafine Clair ink above and next to the images directly onto the watercolor cardstock.
To finish the card I added a few clear rhinestones around the images.
