Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Beim Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch heute eine Karte, bei der sich alles im Innenteil abspielt: eine Center Picture Card. Es gibt eine Stanze von LawnFawn (die diese Kartenart aber auch nicht erfunden haben), mit der man diese Kartenart ohne Nachdenken oder Rechnen machen kann, aber die Karte, die diese Stanze macht, ist winzig. Also nehmen wir Euch das Denken und Rechnen ab. ;)

Hello everyone!

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing a card today, where everything happens on the inside: a Center Picture Card. There's a die by LawnFawn out there (but they weren't the ones coming up with the original idea of this card either) that let's you cut all the pieces without any measuring and thinking about them but the card their die makes is really small. So we take the thinking and measuring off of you. ;)

Nachdem, wie schon erwähnt, die Innenseite die "main attraction" ist, ist die Außenseite eher einfach gehalten. Etwas Deko braucht sie aber doch.

Ich habe hier die Grundkarte aus dunkelblauem Cardstock gearbeitet und mit weißer Strukturpaste und einer Schablone ein paar Sterne aufgetragen.  

Ich hatte immer noch Regenbogenstreifen übrig, die farblich perfekt passten. Also habe ich auch auf diese Karte einen Blau-Lila-Regenbogen aufgeklebt.

Auf den Regenbogen habe ich mit 3D Tape eine weiße Wolke aufgeklebt, auf der ich ein ausgestanztes Congrats aufgeklebt habe. Das Congrats habe ich aus einem Reststück Cardstock gestanzt, das ich von der Dekoration der Innenseite übrig hatte. Darunter kam noch ein schwarzes Banner mit einem weiß aufembossten Text von MFT.

Since, as mentioned, the inside is the "main attraction" the outside is kept a little more simple. But of course it needed some kind of decorations.

Here I've cute the card base from dark blue cardstock and added some stars using white modelling paste and a stencil.

I still had some strips of that rainbow left that were perfect in color. So I've added another purple and blue rainbow to this card. 

Onto the rainbow I've glued a cloud, cut from white cardstock, using dimensionals. On top of the cloud I've glued a die cut congrats. It was cut from a piece of cardstock that I had left over from creating the inside. Under it I've put a banner with a white heat embossed text by MFT.

Und so sieht die geöffnete Karte aus - mit einer tollen 3D Szene in der Mitte. Trotzdem lässt sich die Karte flach zusammenklappen.

Ich habe eine Geburtstagskarte zum ersten Geburtstag meiner Nichte gemacht. Da sie eh noch nicht Lesen oder den Text verstehen kann, denke ich, dass englisch hier kein Problem sein sollte.  

Alle Innenseiten  habe ich mit weißem Cardstock beklebt, den ich erst mit Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet und Blueprint Sketch eingefärbt, mit Wasser bespritzt und anschließend mit Strukturpaste mit Sternen dekoriert habe. Entlang der unteren Kante habe ich dann eine Wolkenbordüre aufgeklebt. Die überdeckt das Pink ein wenig, denn das hat mir irgendwie nicht recht gefallen.

And this is the opened card - with a great 3D scene in the middle. Still the card can be folded flat for mailing in an envelope. 

I've made a card for my niece's 1st birthday. Since she isn't able to read or understand a text read to her I don't think the english text stamps I've used aren't a big problem.

All of the inner parts of the card are covered with white cardstock that I've inked up using Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet an Blueprint Sketch, sprinkled some water over it and then used the star stencil and white modelling paste again to add the stars. Then I've glued a cloud border to the bottom of all the pieces. Those cover the pink a bit that I didn't like that much on this card.

Im mittleren Teil habe ich weitere Wolkenbordüren aufgekleb. Auf eine habe ich eine 1, gestanzt aus blauem Cardstock und mit Wink of Stella überzogen, aufgeklebt. Auf der Lage dahinter befindet sich ein kleiner Mond.

Der süße Elefant mit dem Luftballon und der fliegende Hase sind von Mama Elephant, coloriert jeweils mit Copics. Der große Luftballon war so schwer, dass er immer nach hinten geklappt ist. Darum habe ich ihn mit aufgedoppeltem 3D Tape an der Innenseite der Karte angebracht. Dadurch musste ich aber die Schnur abtrennen, denn der Ballon bewegt sich beim Zuklappen der Karte. Nun kann er das, und ich finde nicht, dass es stört, auch wenn man am Winkel der Schnur erkennen kann, dass der Ballon eigentlich anders ist.

In the middle part I've added more cloud borders. Onto one I've added a die cut 1, cut from blue cardstock and covered with Wink of Stella. To the back layer I've added a moon.

The cute elephant with the balloon and the flying bunny are by Mama Elephant, colored in with Copics. The balloon was so heavy that it was flapping backwards. So I've doubled up some dimensionals and attached it to the inside of the middle piece. But due to that I had to cut off the balloon from the elephant at the string because the balloon moves when the card is closed. Now it can and I don't think it is a big problem, even if you can tell from the angle of the string that it is a bit different originally.

Auf der linken Innenseite habe ich einen weiteren Elefant mit Ballons aufgeklebt.

To the left inner side I've attached another elephant with balloons.

Auf der rechten Seite sitzt ein weiterer Hase auf den Wolken. Dem habe ich ein Schild in die Hand gegeben, auf das ich ein "let's celebrate" gestempelt habe.

On the right side another bunny is sitting on the clouds. I  made him hold a sign onto which I've stamped a "let's celebrate".

Eine Card-In-A-Box zum Thema Reise

Heute möchte ich Euch nochmal eine Karte mit dem neuen Stempelset rund ums Thema Reisen von SF Stamps zeigen. Und diesmal habe ich eine Card-in-a-Box gewerkelt. Die kann man so toll dreidimensional gestalten.

Today I want to share another card using the new travel themed stamp set by SF Stamps. And this time I've made a card-in-a-box. I love that those create such amazing 3D scenes.

Die seitlichen Klappen/Laschen habe ich mit Designpapier mit Landkartendruck, passend zum Thema der Karte, beklebt. Darauf kam ein Banner mit dem Text "Gute Reise", der ebenfalls im Set enthalten ist. Wenn ich mir die Karte jetzt so auf dem Foto anschaue, hätte ich das Banner evtl. matten sollen.... Aber auch so gefällt es mir.

I've coverd the flaps with designer's paper with a map prit, matching the theme of my card. Then I've added a banner with a "have a save trip" to the front one. While I'm looking at the picture now I think maybe I should have matted the banner.... But I like it this way as well.

Im oberen Teil der Karte/Box habe ich 5 Ebenen eingebaut: eine mit Landkarte und Globus, eine mit Koffern und Wegweiser, eine mit dem Flugzeug, das auf einen Streifen Klarsichtfolie geklebt ist, dahinter eine Ebene mit den Bergen und ganz hinten der Himmel mit der Sonne.

Alle Motive sind mit Copics coloriert.

In the upper part of the card/box I've created 5 layers: one with the map and globe, one with the suitcases and sign, one with the plane that is attached to a strip of acetate, behind it a layer with the mountains and in the back one with the sky and sun.

All images are colored with Copics.

Ich wollte unbedingt eine Karte mit dem schlafenden Fuchs machen und habe mich beim Basteln einfach treiben lassen. Entstanden ist dann diese Karte, die ich heute auf dem Kulricke-Blog zeige.

I wanted to make a card using the cute sleeping fox and then just let the card take me where it wanted during the process of making. I've ended up with this card then that I'm sharing over at the Kulricke-Blog today.

Ich habe den Fuchs auf den kraft-braunen Cardstock von Faltkarten gestempelt und mit Polychromos coloriert. Unten habe ich mit weißem Embossingpulver einen der Texte aus dem Stempelset Freunde aufembosst. So kann man ihn auf dem farbigen Cardstock prima lesen.

I've stamped the fox onto dark kraft colored cardstock and then colored it in with Polychromos. At the bottom of the card I've white heat embossed a saying meaning "friends are like stars - you can't always see them but they are always there".

Hier könnt Ihr den Fuchs genauer sehen. Da durch die Polychromos die Stempellinien etwas überdeckt wurden, habe ich sie nach dem Colorieren mit einem schwarzen Fineliner nochmal nachgemalt.

Unter den Fuchs habe ich etwas Gras gezeichnet.

Für den Nachthimmel habe ich ein Stück nachtblauen Cardstock von Faltkarten zugeschnitten und weiß gemattet. Darauf habe ich mit der Sternen Stencil und weißer Strukturpaste die Sterne aufgetragen. Nach dem Trocknen der Paste habe ich um den Fuchs herumgeschnitten und den Sternenhimmel dahintergeschoben.

Von rechts kommt eine Sternschnuppe aus dem Stempelset Sternglanz. Sie ist coloriert, ausgeschnitten und mit klarem Wink of Stella beglittert. Dann habe ich sie mit 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt. 

Zum Schluss kam alles noch auf eine weiße Grundkarte.

Here you get a better look at the fox. Since the Polychromos covered some of the stamped lines I've used a black fineliner to re-draw them after the coloring was done.

I've drawn some grass for the fox to lye in.

For the night sky I've taken some dark blue cardstock, cut it the size I needed it and then added the stars using a stars stencil and white modelling paste. After the paste was dry I've cut around the fox and tucked it under the fox.

From the right a shooting star is coming in. I've colored it it, cut it out and covered it with clear Wink of Stella. Then I've attached it to the sky using dimensionals.

In the end I've glued everything onto a white card base.

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Eigentlich bin ich basteltechnisch ja immer recht up to date. Eigentlich. Ich kann es mir nur mit unserem Urlaub in Italien und den danach anstehenden Feierlichkeiten zum Abitur meiner Zwillinge erklären, dass ich vom Top Card Contest von Mama Elephant erst heute morgen erfahren habe. Deadline: heute. Er ist bereits am 13.5. gestartet... 

Wie gut, dass mittwochs mein freier Tag ist. Also habe ich erst brav den Hausputz erledigt - das gute daran ist, dass dabei zwar die Hände beschäftigt sind, nicht aber das Gehirn. Und so kam mir während des Putzens die Idee zu dieser Karte.

Ich habe von Mama Elephant viele der Little Agenda Sets, dazu drei "normale" sowie die Wiper Card Die, die Waterfall Card Die und die Turner Surprise Die.  Die Auswahl war also nicht allzu groß. Aber immerhin "musste" ich dann nicht schon wieder eine Bestellung aufgeben sondern das nutzen, was ich zur Hand habe. Entstanden ist dann diese Karte.

Usually I am quite up to date craftwise. Usually. So I can only explain it to myself with our vacation in Italy and the celebrations and festivities related to my twins graduating that I've only heard this morning about the Top Card Contest by Mama Elephant. Dealine: today. It already started on may 15th...

Luckily wednesday is my day off word. So I was good and did the house cleaning first. Good thing about house cleaning is that it keeps the hands busy but your brain can wander. And so I got the idea for this card while cleaning.

I only have quite a lot of the Little Agenda stamp sets by Mama Elephant, and three "normal" ones as well as the Wiper Card die, the Waterfall Card die and the Turner Surprise die. So there wasn't that much in my stash to pick from. But at least that kept me from placing another order and made me use what I had at hand. And this is the card I just finished.

 Geschlossen ist sie echt unspektakulär. Ein Nachthimmel mit Wolke, etwas Gras und Gebüsch und ein kleiner Elefant, der ein Schild hält. Der Elefant ist aus dem Big News Stempelset - ebenso wie der Text auf dem Schild. Den habe ich nur etwas modifiziert: ich habe nur einen Teil des Textes gestempelt und das Ende durch ein BOO! ergänzt. 

Der Nachthimmel ist mit Distress Oxide Dried Marygold, Victorian Velvet, Dusty Concord und Black Soot gestaltet. Die Sterne sind mit leicht verdünnter Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. Für das Gebüsch und das Gras habe ich Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles und Black Soot sowie Schablonen verwendet.

The closed card is pretty boring. There's a night sky with a cloud, some grass and a few bushes and an elephant holding a sign. The elephant is from the Big News stamp set - as is the text on the sign. I've only modified it a bit by only stamping part of the text and ending it with a BOO!

The night sky was made using Distress Oxide Dried Marygold, Victorian Velvet, Dusty Concord and Black Soot. The stars were sprinkled on using white acrylic paint mixed with a bit of water. For the grass and bushes I've used Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles and Black Soot and some stencils.

Man kann es auf dem ersten Bild schon erahnen - ich habe hier die Wiper Card Stanze benutzt. Ich musste die Fläche ein wenig vergrößern - in Höhe und Breite. Mit der Big Shot Plus und einer Platte der "normalen" Big Shot sowie viermal kurbeln und Partial Die Cutting ging das ganz gut.  Und so sieht man bei auseinander gezogener Karte kleine Gespenster, die sich vorher gekonnt versteckt hatten.

You can already tell it if you take a close look at the first picture - I've used the Wiper Card Die here. I had to enlarge it a bit for what I had in mind - length and height. Using the Big Shot Plus and a plate from the "regular" Big Shot it worked with Partial Die Cutting and four runs through the die cutting machine. And now when the card is opened you can see a few little ghosts that were hiding before.

Die Geister sind alle aus dem Little Boo Agenda Stempelset. Schon als ich das erste Bild davon sah, wusste ich, das muss ich haben. Ich hätte nur nicht erwartet, dass es so früh im Jahr zum Einsatz kommen würde.

Alle Motive sind mit Copics coloriert.

All those cute ghosts are from the Little Boo Agenda stamp set. When I saw the first picture of it I knew I had to have it. I just didn't expect to use it that early in the year.

All the images are colored in with Copics.

Aber auf meiner Karte versteckt sich noch mehr. Naja, ganz verstecken konnte ich es nicht: die Turner Surprise Stanze. Ich habe die beiden Teile passend zum Himmel eingefärbt, so dass sie optisch zumindest ein wenig verschwindet. Und natürlich verbirgt sich darunter noch ein weiteres Motiv.

But there's more on this card. Well, I've tried to hide it but of course you can tell it's there: the Turner Surprise. I've inked up both parts of it matching the night sky to at least hide it a bit. And of course there's another image there.

Hier habe ich den Mond aus dem Stempelset Wish Upon a Star aufgestempelt. Er steht auf dem Kopf, weswegen ich den Stern, der von der Spitze hängt, wegmaskieren musste. Und auch der süße Hase, der eigentlich darauf sitzt, ist verschwunden. Stattdessen habe ich einen weiteren Geist aufgestempelt.

Here I've used the moon from the Wish Upon a Star stamp set. It's upside down so I had to mask off the star that's dangling from the upper tip. And also the cute bunny sitting on it is gone. Instead there's another ghost flying by.

So, und jetzt gehe ich ganz schnell mit meiner Karte am Contest teilnehmen!

Es ist wieder Produktwoche auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog - und diesen Monat haben wir uns für die Inks von MFT entschieden.

It's product spotlight week again over at Stamping-Fairies Blog and this months we've picked the MFT inks to be spotlighted.

Die Ink Pads von MFT gibt es als "normale" Dye Ink und als Hybrid Ink, die dann auch für die Coloration mit Copics geeignet sind. Ich habe von beiden Varianten alle Farben jeweils als kleine Kissen. Und auf meiner Karte kamen beide zum Einsatz.

Der Hintergrund ist mit den kleinen Dye Ink Pads gemacht. Ich habe die Direct To Paper Technique angewanddt, bei der mit Stempelkissen direkt auf das Papier gewischt wird. So habe ich hier meinen Hintergrund gestaltet und dafür die Farben Sno Cone, Summer Splash, Blu Raspberry und Tropical Teal verwendet. Ich habe sie leicht überlappend aufgewischt und sie nach rechts hin "auslaufen lassen". Das erreicht man, indem man entweder den Druck reduziert oder einfach die Wisch-Geschwindigkeit erhöht.

The ink pads by MFT are available as "normal" Dye Inks and as Hybrid Inks that can also be used with Copics. I own all the colors as mini ink cubes in both the Dye Inks and the Hybrid Inks and have used both types here.

The background was made using the Direct To Paper Technique. You simply use your ink pads and add the color directly onto your paper. I've used Sno Cone, Summer Splash, Blu Raspberry an Tropical Teal here. I've let them overlap a bit and adheared less color on the right side of my cardstock. You simply get that look by either reducing the pressure on your ink pad or by moving it faster.

Das Motiv habe ich mit dem Tickled Pink Hybrid Kissen gestempelt und es dann mit Copics und der No-Line Technik coloriert. 

The image was stamped using the Tickled Pink Hybrid Ink Pad and then colored in with Copics doing the no-lines technique.

Mir war mal wieder nach einem Wortspiel - also habe ich hier ein aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanztes hai aufgeklebt. Das steht natürlich für "hi" und für Hai. Wer kennt den uralten Witz nicht - "Hi!" - "Wo?". Das Wort ist aus einzelnen Buchstaben zusammengesetzt, die ich mit der Alphabet Handlettering Lowercase Stanze von Craft Emotions gestanzt habe. Das H war mir ein wenig zu "nüchtern", ich wollte etwas geschwungeneres. Also habe ich ein Y gestanzt, es auf den Kopf gestellt und kurz vor dem Bogen den hinteren Teil durch den eines kleinen H ersetzt. Der Buchstabe ist jetzt ein wenig kleiner, bei der Schriftart fällt das aber gar nicht auf, oder?

Damit das Wortspiel funktioniert musste natürlich ein Hai auf die Karte - da kam das Stempelset Friends with Fins genau recht. Er hatte offenbar Hunger - und hat doch glatt ein kleines Stück aus der Schleife des H herausgebissen. ;) Dafür habe ich einfach mit einer Handstanze einen Teil eines kleinen gewellten Kreises aus dem Buchstaben gestanzt. 

Mit einem weißen Gelmarker habe ich ein paar Highlights aufgemalt.

 Unter das Wort habe ich dann einen der Texte aus dem Stempelset Well, Hello gesetzt. Es ist mit weißem Embossingpulver auf einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstock embosst und ihn links angeschrägt.

I felt like a play with words again. Hai is how you'd write "hi" if you'd write it in german. It's also the german word for shark. There's even a - not really funny - joke here: Two fish meet. When one says "hi/hai" the other one asks "where?". The word was put together from individual letters cut from black cardstock using the Alphabet Handletterin Lowercase dies by Crafts Emotions. The lowercase h wasn't fancy enought for my taste/this card so instead I've die cut a Y, turned it upside down and replaced its right end with the right end of an H. Due to that the letter is slightly smaller but with this font it really isn't a problem I guess.

To make the play with words work I needed a shark on this card. So the Friends with Fins stamp set just came in at the perfect moment. Seems like he was hungry - he's bitten a piece out of the H. ;) I've simply used a hand punch of a small scalloped circle to punch out the piece.

I've used a white gelly marker to add some highlights.

Under the hai I've glued a strip with one of the sayings from the Well, Hello stamp set. It's white heat embossed onto a strip of black cardstock that I've cut in an angle on the left side.

Natürlich brauchte die Karte auch etwas Deko - und ich fand, ein wenig mehr Farbe könnte nicht schaden. Ich habe die Steine, Wasserpflanzen und Korallen aus dem Under the Sea Stanzenset verwendet. Und auch hier habe ich die Direct To Paper Technique angewandt. Ich habe weißen Cardstock mit den kleinen Ink Pads eingefärbt. Für die Koralle habe ich Peach Bellini, Coral Crush und Persimmon verwendet, für die Steine Grout Gray, Cement Gray und Gravel Grey und für die Algen Green Room, Gumdrop Green und Jellybean. Ich habe jeweils ein Stück weißen Cardstock erst mit dem hellsten Ton, dann etwa 2/3 des Stücks mit dem mittleren Farbton und zum Schluss das untere Drittel mit dem dunkelsten eingefärbt und anschließend die Motive ausgestanzt. So sehen sie fast aus wie coloriert.

Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar Blubberblasen aufgeklebt - gemacht mit den White Blizzard Glitter Drops von Nuvo.

Of course my card needed some decorations as well - and I thought a little color couldn't hurt. I've added stones, water plants and corals using the Under the Sea die set. And also here I've done the Direct To Paper Technique. I've inked up some white cardstock using the small ink pads again. For the corals I've used Peach Bellini, Coral Crush and Persimmon, for the stones I wen with Grout Gray, Cement Gray and Gravel Grey and for the water plants I've used Green Room, Gumdrop Green and Jellybean. For each of the color combinations I've first inked up the white cardstock with the lightest color, then added the middle tone to about 2/3 of it and then used the darkest tone on the lower third. Then I've cut the images from these pieces of colored in cardstock. Now they kind of look liked colored with markers. 

In the end I've added some bubbles, made using the White Blizzard Glitter Drops by Nuvo.

Des Wassermanns Tochter

Vor einer Woche habe ich Euch den Wassermann aus dem neuen Stempelset von SF Stamps gezeigt - auf die heutige Karte hat es seine Tochter geschafft (zumindest denke ich, dass sie das ist).

One week ago I've shared the card showing the aquarius by SF Stamps - his daughter made it onto today's card (at least that's what I think she is).

Hier habe ich Aquarellpapier mit 4 verschiedenen Türkis- und Blautönen der ZIG Real Color Brush Pens eingefärbt. Darauf habe ich ein paar Blubberblasen weiß embosst. Die Blasen sind noch mit klarem Wink of Stella gefüllt. 

Den Hintergrund habe ich schwarz gemattet und dann auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Here I've used four different tones of turquoise and blue of the ZIG Real Color Brush Pens to create the background on watercolor paper. Then I've added some white heat embossed bubbles that are also filled with some clear Wink of Stella.

I've matted the background with some black cardstock and glued it onto a white card base.

Und hier ist die kleine Nixe. Ich fürchte, die macht es ihrem Vater nicht immer leicht, sie schaut ganz schön frech aus!

Ich habe sie - ebenso wie die Fische im Hintergrund - mit Copics coloriert. Schwanzflosse, Muschel-BH und Haare sind wieder mit klarem Wink of Stella beglittert.

Die Kleine kommt aus einem wilden Dickicht verschiedener Unterwasserpflanzen. Dazwischen liegen ein paar Muscheln und ein Stein.

Der Text aus dem Mammut-Stempelset ist weiß auf ein Banner aus schwarzem Cardstock embosst und mit 3D Pads aufgeklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich ein paar klare glitzernde Nuvo Drops auf der Karte verteilt.

And here's the cute mermaid. I think he's giving his dad a hard time every now and then because she looks pretty sassy!

I've colored her - and also the fish in the background - with Copics. Mermaid tail, seashell bra and hair are covered with clear Wink of Stella again.

The little cutie is swimming out of a batch of different water plants. Inbetween the plants there are a few sea shealls and a rock.

The saying was white heat embossed onto a banner cut from black cardstock and then added to the card with dimensionals.

In the end I've also added some clear glittery Nuvo Drops.

Eine Karte für eine Challenge

Ich habe ja schon ewig an keiner Challenge mehr teilgenommen. Aber als ich den neuen Sketch auf dem MFT Blog gesehen habe, hatte ich sofort ein Bild einer fertigen Karte im Kopf. Und passenderweise kam auch da gerade mein Card Kit bei mir an... Manchmal passt es eben! Und so ist diese Karte entstanden.

I haven't joined a challenge in quite some time. But when I saw the new sketch over at the MFT Blog I immediately had a vision of a card in mind. And just that day also my Card Kit arrived... There are days when everything works out. And so I made this card.

Ich habe mich recht genau an den Sketch gehalten und ihn nur um 90° gedreht. Eher selten bei mir, aber hier war es einfach so, dass alles gepasst hat. 

Ich habe einen Streifen des grünen Cardstocks schwarz gemattet und senkrecht auf eine weiße Grundkarte geklebt. Die habe ich vorher mit türkisfarbenen Sprenkeln bespritzt. Dafür habe ich die Color Bursts aus dem Kit benutzt.

I followed the sketch pretty close and only turned it sideways. That doesn't happen with me very often but here just everything fit.

I've matted a strip of green cardstock black and glued it onto a white card base. Before glueing the strip down I've sprinkled the white card with some turquoise color and used the Color Bursts from the kit for it.

Den Flowers in Bloom Stempel finde ich grandios. Er ist von der Höhe her eher auf hochkantige Karten ausgelegt, aber ich habe mich überwunden und einfach oben und unten etwas vom Motiv weggeschnitten. Sieht trotzdem gut aus, finde ich.

Die Blumen sind ebenfalls mit den Color Bursts coloriert. Zuvor habe ich sie weiß auf Aquarellcardstock embosst und mit der passenden Stanze, die ich mir so wohl nicht gekauft hätte, die aber im Set enthalten war, ausgestanzt. Mich störte es, dass der innere Teil zwischen den beiden untere Blumen nicht mit ausgestanzt wurde, also habe ich hier mit der Schere nachgeholfen. Ich hatte die Farbkraft der Pigmente der Color Bursts ein wenig unterschätzt, so dass die Blumen intensiver geworden sind, als ich geplant hatte. Aber so poppen sie zumindest richtig aus der Karte heraus. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich sie mit 3D Tape auf den grünen Cardstockstreifen aufgeklebt.

Die drei helltürkisfarbenen Kreise unter dem Streifen sind übrigens auch aus mit den Color Bursts leicht eingefärbtem Cardstock gestanzt. So passte alles farblich auf jeden Fall zusammen.

I just love this Flower in Blooms stamp. I would fit onto the full length of a card just fine, but since I've turned the sketch the image was too large. I dared to cut off a bit from both the top and the bottom of the image and I think it still looks good.

The flower were also colored in useing the Color Bursts. Before coloring them I've white heat embossed them onto some watercolor cardstock and cut out using the matching die. I probably wouldn't have bought it (I just love fuzzy cutting my images) but since it was included in the set of course I used it. There was a piece of white cardstock left between those two lower flowers that really disturbed me so I used my scissors to cut this away. I also didn't think of the pigments of the Color Bursts to be so intense so my flowers turned out darker than I had planned. But now at least they pop out. After letting the image dry I've used dimensionals to glue it onto the green cardstock.

Those three light turquoise circles on my card/under the green strip are also made from watercolor cardstock that I've lightly covered with those Color Bursts. This way I made sure everything goes together perfectly.

Fehlte noch ein Text. Bei den Blumen sind tolle Textstempel dabei, aber ich wollte kein Banner auf meine Karte kleben. Also habe ich zur Sweet Hello Stanze gegriffen (die ist einer meiner neuen Favorits) und das Wort aus dunkel- und helltürkisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt. Der dunkle Cardstock war, zusammen mit anderen Farben, ebenfalls im Kit enthalten. Es ist mein erster Cardstock von MFT und ich bin von der Qualität hin und weg. Mal sehen, ob man die hier auch bekommt. Die beiden Worte habe ich leicht seitlich versetzt aufeinander geklebt und dann auf die Karte gesetzt. Zum Schluss kam dann noch ein paar schwarze Enamel Accents dazu.

Now all I was missing was a saying. There are some great words coming in the Flowers in Bloom Set but I didn't want to add a banner to my card. So I've used the Sweet Hello die - which is one of my new favorite dies - and cut the word from both dark and light turquoise cardstock. The darker tone also came in the kit, together with some more colors. It's the first time I've touched their cardstock and I am just loving the quality. Need to check if I can get that in a greman shop. I've glued the two words on top of each other slightly off and then onto the card. 

In the end I've only added a few black Enamel Accents.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 6. Juli 2019

Beim Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch heute eine weitere Verwendungsmöglichkeit für Stencils: die Magic Stencil Technik. Hier wird eine mit Wasser befeuchtete Schablone auf ein mit Tinte eingewischtes Stück Cardstock gelegt und man erhält einen soften Abdruck des Negativs der Schablone.

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing another way of using your stencils: the Magic Stancil Technique. You simply put a stencil that you've misted with water onto a piece of cardstock covered in ink and get a soft imprint of the stencils's negative. 

Ich habe diese Miss You Karte gemacht. Den weißen Cardstock habe ich mit Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers, Broken China und Mowed Lawn eingefärbt, anschließend schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I've made this miss you card. To ink up the white cardstock I've used Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers, Broken China and Mowed Lawn, then matted it black and glued it onto a white card base.

Oben auf die Karte habe ich mittig einen Kreis, gestanzt aus Vellum aufgeklebt. Darauf kamen die Cloud Outlines und der Ast von MFT sowie die süße kleine Fee von Stampingbella. 

Darunter habe ich miss you, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, aufgeklebt. Da ich da keine "fertige" Stanze hatte, habe ich es aus einzelnen Buchstaben, gestanzt mit der Handlettered Alphabet Lowercase Stanze von Craft Emotions, zusammengesetzt.

On the upper part of the card I've added a circle cut from Vellum. Then I've added the Cloud Outlines and Tree Branch by MFT and this cute little fairy by Stampingbella.

To the lower part of the card I've glued a miss you text, cut from white cardstock. Since I didn't have a die for this text I've used the Handlettered Alphabet Lowercase die by Craft Emotions and put the words together from individual letters.

Lass Blumen sprechen

Einige neue  Stempel von SF Stamps habe ich Euch ja schon gezeigt - heute geht es um die Hortensien. Ich liebe Hortensien, sie stehen überall verteilt in meinem Garten. Aber auch auf Karten machen sie sich klasse, finde ich!

I've already shown you a few of the new SF Stamps stamp sets - and today it's about the hydrangeas. I just love those, they are everywhere in my garden. But I think they also look pretty on cards.

Hier habe ich zuerst den Mauerstempel mit grauer Farbe auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, diesen blau gemattet und auf eine weiße Grundkarte geklebt.

Text und Schmetterling sind aus dem Tulpen Stempelset. Der Text ist weiß auf blauen Cardstock embosst, als Banner zugeschnitten und unten quer mit 3D Pads aufgeklebt.

Here I've first stamped the brick wall background onto white cardstock using grey ink. Then I've matted it with blue cardstock and glued both layers onto a white cardbase.

I've also added a buttefly and a saying. This was white heat embossed onto a banner cut from blue cardstock and added to the card using dimensionals.

Hier sind die Hortensien. Sie sind jeweils mit 3D Pads in unterschiedlichen Höhen bzw. bei der kleinen aufgedoppelt übereinander gesetzt.

Coloriert habe ich mit Copics. Leider kann man auf dem Bild nicht erkennen, dass die Spitzen der Blüten ganz hellgrün coloriert sind - genau diese Farbspiele liebe ich an Hortensien so. Die Kamera hat das leider geschluckt...

Zum Schluss habe ich ein paar grüne Enamel Accents auf der Karte verteilt.

And here are the hydrangeas. They've glued on top of each other using dimensionals in different heights and doubled up ones for the smallest flower.

They are colored in with Copics. Sadly you can't see on the pic that the tips of the blooms are colored in a very light green - exactly those changes of color are what I love about hydrangeas. But somehow the camera wasn't able to pick up that very light color.

In the end I've added a few green Enamel Accents.

Für den Grillmeister

Jetzt ist ja die Grill-Hochsaison - wobei das bei mir immer geht, selbst im Winter. Als Mitbringsel zu einer Einladung habe ich diese Box gemacht, die ich heute auf dem Kulricke-Blog zeige.

We're in the middle of barbecque season - I love grilling also during winter though. As a little gift to bring to an BBQ invitation I've made this box that I am sharing over at the Kulricke-Blog today.

Ich habe hier die Dreiecksbox aus hellblauem Cardstock geschnitten und mit den Steaks, Würsteln und Bratwurstsemmeln aus dem Stempelset Felix Grillmeister Mini bestempelt.

Quer über die Box habe ich ein Banner aus weißem Cardstock geklebt, auf das ich das Wort Grillmeister gestempelt und es dann rot hinterlegt habe. Außerdem sind hier noch ein paar rote Glitzersteine untergebracht.

Here I've die cut the triangle box from light blue cardstock and stamped the steak, sausage and sausage bun all over it. 

Across the box I've put a banner from white cardstock onto which I've stamped the word "master of the grill", then matted it red. I've also added a few red rhinestones.

Der süße Felix steht mit Grillzange bewaffnet am Grill, die Glut ist perfekt und auf dem Grill liegt bereits ein Würstel. Und damit auch jeder sieht, dass er  hier das Sagen hat, steht auf seiner Schürze "Le Chef". Vom Grill steigt der Duft von Grillgut auf - hier durch zwei "Rauchsäulen" aus Vellum dargestellt.

Hinter Felix habe ich etwas weißes Twine gewickelt.

This cute Felix is holding the grill tongs, the heat seams to be perfect and there's already a sausage on the grill. And to make everyone see he's the one in charge on the grill he's wearing an apron with "Le Chef" printed on. The smell of grilled stuff is coming off the grill - I've simply die cut two pieces of Vellum in a wavy shape.

Behind Felix I've put some white twine.

Den Verschluss packe ich ja gerne nach unten, diesmal habe ich ihn nach hinten gesetzt. 

Gefüllt mit einem Röhrchen mit selbstgemachtem Grillgewürz kam das Geschenk super an.

I like to put the closing side downwards, this time I've put it at the back.

I've filled the box with a tube filled with a homemade rub and the "master of the grill" really loved it.

Ein Picknick im Grünen

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog zeige ich heute diese Karte mit sommerlicher Picknick-Szene. Als Kind gab es für mich nichts schöneres, als mit einer Freundin einen Korb voll Leckereien zu packen und mit dem Rad draufloszufahren, bis zu einem Platz, der uns für unser Picknick gefiel. Und dieses Gefühl ist beim Machen dieser Karte wieder aufgekommen.

Over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog I am sharing this card with a summer-ish picnic scene today. When I was a kid me and my best friend loved to pack a basket full of yummy stuff, go off with our bikes and ride them until we found  a place that seemed perfect for a picnic break. When I made this card I re-lived these afternoons.

Das kleine Eichhörnchen aus dem Picnic Pals Stempelset von MFT hat offenbar auch seinen perfekten Platz gefunden, die Decke im Gras ausgebreitet und lässt sich schon mal ein Stück Melone schmecken. 

The little squirrel from the Picnic Pals stamp set by MFT seems to have found its perfect spot as well, put its blanket in the grass and is enjoying a piece of watermelon.

Aber natürlich ist es nicht alleine unterwegs - sein Freund der Igel hat nur noch schnell einen Eimer Blaubeeren gepflückt. Den trägt eigentlich der Waschbär aus dem Set. Aber der war für eine Szene einfach zu groß. Darum habe ich ihn ausgeschnitten, coloriert und dann dem Igel statt des Stückes Wassermelone in die Hand gegeben.

Of course it isn't out there on his own - its friend the hedgehog just went and picked some blueberries. Original the bucket is carried by the rascal that's included in the set. But it simply was too big for my scene. So I've cut the bucket out, colored it in and then replaced the piece of watermelon the hedgehog is holding with the bucket of berries.

Ich habe hier eine Wiper Card gemacht und dafür die neue Stanze von MFT verwendet. Die stanzt nicht nur den Mechanismus, sondern auch die Graskante (oder auch eine Wellenkante, die ebenfalls im Set enthalten ist). 

Da ich den Igel an einer bestimmten Stelle und auf der anderen Seite der Karte "aufpoppen" lassen wollte, bedarf es einiges and Rumprobieren, try and error sozusagen, und einen A4 Bogen Cardstock, aber dann hatte ich es geschafft. Und beim nächsten Mal weiß ich, wie ich das Papier falzen muss. 

Für den Himmel habe ich die Clouds Stencil und Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass benutzt.

Die Bäume und Büsche sind aus dem Picnic Pals Set und dem Scene Builder Set, teilweise zusammengestempelt.

Zum Schluss habe ich unter die Picknick-Decke noch ein Banner mit einem Text geschoben.

Here I've made a Wiper Card and used the new Wiper Card die by MFT here. It does not only cut the the mechanism bt also the grass border (or a waves border that's also included in the set).

Since I wanted the hedgehog pop up at a special point on the card and also on the other side as the die might have been planned it took me some trial and error and a full sheet of cardstock but then I got it figured out. And the next time I know how to score the paper.

For the background I've used the Cloud stencil and Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass.

The trees and bushes are from the Picnic Pals set and the Scene Builder set, some masked together.

In the end I've stamped a text onto a banner and tucked it under the blanket.

Und weil man das alles in einem Video viel besser sehen kann.... ;)

Blubber Blubber, sprach der Wassermann

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Kennt Ihr die Kassette - ja, ich bin sooo alt - von Peterchens Mondfahrt? Es gibt inzwischen bestimmt neuere Aufnahmen, aber ich liebte es, wie der alte Wassermann immer Blubber Blubber sagte. Als Kind bin ich mehrere Jahre an meinem Geburtstag mit Freundinnen ins Theater für Kinder in München, um mir das Stück dort anzusehen und habe es geliebt. Bemerkung am Rand: als ich meinen Mann kennenlernte und ihm davon erzählte, überraschte er mich mit Karten für eben diese Aufführung, die in der  Weihnachtszeit immer noch angeboten wird. Naja, es wurde leider so sehr "modernisiert" (Peterchen mit Blaulicht-Helm auf dem Kopf z. B.), dass es einfach nur komisch war. Wie auch immer. Ich habe keine Ahnung, ob es sich bei dem Wassermann auf meiner Karte um genau diesen "blubbernden" handelt, aber ich musste beim Werkeln an ihn denken. Und mit dieser Karte gebe ich Euch eine weitere Vorschau auf ein neues Stempelset von SF Stamps.

I have no idea if any of you know about Peterchens Mondfahrt - a story about two kids making a trip to the moon and the mean man in the moon who's stolen the 6th leg of a may bug. The kids want to bring it back - and get help by different animals and other figures like the thunder man, the sandman, the night fairy and others. Among the ones helping the kids is also an aquarius - and he's adding blobb-blobb to a lot of his sentences. I've loved this story as a kid and went many years into a kids' theater to watch it with my friends as the birthday party. Off topic here - when I met my husband and told him about it, the went and got me tickets for exactly that kids' theater where they are still playing it around christmas but they've modernized it that much that it just wasn't the same anymore. However, I have no idea if this is the same blobbing aquarius but I had him in mind when I made this card. And with it I am showing you another new stamp set by SF Stamps.

Ich habe hier auf helltürkisen Cardstock den Blasenhintergrund klar aufembosst und dann den Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon eingefärbt. Durch das klare Embossingpulver kann man den helleren Cardstock sehen. Diesen Cardstock habe ich dann auf eine weiße Grundkarte geklebt.

Darauf kam ein Stück weißen Cardstocks, aus dessen Mitte ich ein Sechseck ausgestanzt habe. Den weißen Cardstock habe ich mit 3D Pads aufgeklebt. 

Der Text ist aus dem Stempelset mit dem coolen Wichtel, weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und in das Fenster hineinragend aufgeklebt.

Here I've stamped the bubble background onto some light turquoise cardstock and clear heat embossed it. Then I've used Distress Oxide to ink up the cardstock, through the clear embossing powder you can see the lighter color. Then I've glued this cardstock onto a white card base.

On top I've glued a piece of white cardstock from which I've die cut a hexagon. The white cardstock was glued onto the turquoise one using dimensionals.

The saying is white heat embossed onto black cardstock and glued on top of the white one using dimensionals, reaching into the window.

Und hier ist der Wassermann. Er ist mit Copics coloriert, Schwanz, Krone und Dreizack habe ich mit klarem Wink of Stella beglitzert. Dann habe ich ihn mit 3D Pads über das Fenster geklebt.

Hinter bzw. in das Fenster habe ich ein paar ausgestanzte Wasserpflanzen geklebt. Und damit der Wassermann da nicht so alleine im Meer ist, habe ich ihm  noch zwei Fische aus dem selben Stempelset zur Seite gestellt.

Zum Schluss kamen noch ein paar schwarze Enamel Accents auf die Karte.

And here's the aquarius. He's been colored with Copics, crown, tail and trident are covered with some clear Wink of Stella. Then I've glued him over the cut out window.

Behind/into the window I've glued some die cut water plants. And to give him a few friends to his side I've also added two fish from the same stamp set.

In the end I've added some black Enamel Accents.
