Heute haben wir beim Stempeleinmaleins eine Sternkarte. Die steht und bildet einen dreidimensionalen Stern.

Today we are sharing a star card over at Stempeleinmaleins. It's free standing and makes a three dimensional star.
Ich bin ehrlich, ich tu mich mit solchen Karten immer etwas schwer. Auch wenn vorne eine glatte Fläche ist, fehlt mir doch irgendwie der Platz für Deko. Ich habe mich trotzdem darangemacht und bin mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden.
Das Grundgerüst ist aus weißem Cardstock und mit Designpapier beklebt. Als Deko habe ich dann eine ausgestanzte Laterne, zwei Sterne aus silbernem Glitzercardstock, einen Briefumschlag und etwas Tüll mit Band und Glöckchen verwendet.
I want to be honest - I always have a hard time with this type of cards. Even if there is a flat area in the front, I am always missing some space for decorations. I decided to give it a try anyways and I really like the outcome.
The base is cut from white cardstock and covered with designer's paper. For decorations I went with a die cut lantern, two stars from silver glitter cardstock, an envelope and some tulle with ribbon and bell.
Und da vor kurzem meine erste - aber bestimmt nicht letzte - Bestellung von Purple Onion ankam, musste eines der Motive gleich verbastelt werden. Der kleine Igel, der extra einen Hocker mitgebracht hat, um die Weihnachtsgrüße in den Briefkasten stecken zu können, ist einfach nur goldig! Ich habe das Motiv mit Copics coloriert.
Unter dem rund ausgestanzten Motiv - findet Ihr nicht auch, dass es irgendwie oval auf dem Bild aussieht? - ist noch ein Schneeflockenkreis und etwas Cheesecloth.
Für den Text habe ich zwei verschiedene Stempel von MFT kombiniert.
And since my very first but for sure not last order from Purple Onion arrived a little ago I really wanted to use one of those images. The little hedgehog that has brought a stool to be able to put those christmas greetings in the mail is such a cutie! I've colored the image in with Copics.
Under the image that was die cut into a circle - and don't you agree that it more looks like an oval in the picture? - there is a snowflake circle and some cheesecloth.
For the text I've combined two different stamps by MFT.
