Frohe Ostern!

Mit diesen Osterimpressionen möchte ich Euch allen ein wunderschönes und frühlingshaftes Osterfest wünschen!

With these impressions from our Easter brunch I want to wish all of you a very happy, spring-ish Easter!

Wie jedes Jahr fand auch dieses Jahr der traditionelle Osterbrunch mit Eiersuche bei uns statt. Bzw. findet, denn ich habe den Blogpost am Abend vorher vorbereitet. Deswegen sind auch die Bilder ein wenig düster. Aber mir war klar, dass ich vormittags keine Zeit hätte, Fotos zu machen, bevor sich dann die Verwandschaft über das Buffet hermacht... ;)

As every year we had the traditional family easter brunch again at our house - including an egg hunt. Or I should say we're having it now, because I scheduled the post, writing it yesterday evening. That's also why the pics are a bit dull. I knew I wouldn't have time to make pictures in the morning and then the family will start the run on the buffet and "destroy" all the decorations... ;)

Dieses Jahr habe ich die Deko auf dem Tisch mit Stanzen von Farbton gemacht.... Alles ist in grün, pink und weiß gehalten.

This year I made my decorations with dies by Farbton... I used pink, green and white.

Ich habe dieses Holzbrett mit goldenem Ring gefunden. In die Mitte habe ich fünf Glasröhrchen geklebt und sie mit Draht befestigt. Dahinein habe ich dann ein paar Tulpen gestellt.

I found this wood board with a golden ring. I put five small glass tubes into the center and fixed them with some thin wire. I put some tulips into the tubes.

Vor die Gläser habe ich ein aus weißem Cardstock gechnittenes "frohe Ostern" geklebt. Dafür habe ich die Schneiddateien des Alphabet von Farbton verwendet. Das "frohe" habe ich dann selbst darübergesetzt. Mit der Schneiddatei konnte ich die Größe so anpassen, wie ich sie brauchte - und die Buchstaben auch etwas nach oben strecken.

Vor dem Text befindet sich dann eine Reihe ausgestanztes Gras. 

Sämtliche Dekoelemente befinden sich natürlich auf beiden Seiten der Gläser.

I put up a "happy easter" in front of the glass tubes, cut from white cardstock. I have the digital files for Farbton's alphabet - the "happy" I added using a font I have on my computer. With the cutting file I was able to make the words the size I needed them - and also stretch them a bit.

I put some die cut grass in front of the text.

All decorations are on both sides of the tubes.

Unten auf das Holzbrett habe ich dann eine Möhre, ein Nano-Kleeblatt, ein kleines Osterei und ein etwas größeres Osterei mit Hasenohren und Schleife geklebt. Für alle Elemente kamen Farbton-Stanzen zum Einsatz - nur die Hasenohren sind von einer anderen Firma. 

Ich finde diese 3D Stanzen absolut klasse, auch wenn das Stanzen und Zusammenbauen etwas Geduld braucht. Nur das Nano-Kleeblatt fand ich wirklich grenzwertig und ich habe einige entsorgt, weil sie mir beim Kleben an den gestitchten Linien eingerissen sind.

 

Onto the wooden board I put a carrot, a clover, a little easter egg and a larger egg with bunny ears and a bow. I used dies by Farbton for all the elements - only the bunny ears are by a different brand.

I love those 3D dies, even if die cutting all the pieces and putting them together takes a bit of patience. Only the Nano-Kleeblatt - the small clover - was a real pain and I had to throw several away because the tore at the stitched lines when I glued them together.

 

 Ein Ring als Deko für die komplette Tafel war natürlich etwas wenig, ich hatte aber nur noch einen großen bekommen Also habe ich noch zwei kleinere mitgenommen und ein wenig anders dekoriert. 

Of course just one ring wouldn't have been enough for the whole table, but I was only able to get one large one. So I also bought two smaller ones and decorated them slightly different.

Hier befinden sich sechs Gläschen mit Tulpenauf dem Holzbrett, davor wieder ein "frohe Ostern" samt Gras, diesmal etwas kleiner geschnitten.

Here I put six glass tubes with tulips onto the glass board and placed a "happy easter" and some grass in front of them again, this time cut a bit smaller.

Da das Holzbrett hier um einiges schmaler war, hatte ich nur jeweils links und rechts des Textes Platz für ein Element. Ich habe Ostereier aufgeklebt, links ein kleines, rechts ein großes mit Ohren und Schleife.

Since the wooden board was a lot smaller here I only had room for one element on each side of the text. I added easter eggs, a small one on the left side and a larger one with bunny ears and bow on the right one.

Und weil es auch für die Erwachsenen ein kleines Ostergeschenk geben soll, ich aber nicht mehr für alle Nester im Garten verstecke, habe ich die auf den Teller gelegt.

And since I want a little easter treat for the adults, too, but am not going to hide a basket in the garden for everyone anymore, I placed them on the plates.

Ich habe dafür meine Näh- und Stickmaschine angeworfen und kleine Hasen von Stickwolke gemacht. Dabei habe ich das Rückteil aus zwei waagerecht geteilten Stoffstücken gemacht, so dass der Hase hinten eine Öffnung hat.

Für die Männer gabe es kleine grüne Hasen.

I brought out my embroidery and sewing machine for them and made little bunnies using a file by Stickwolke. I cut the fabric for the back horizontally to have a bunny with an opening on the back. For the men I made green bunnies.

Für die Damen habe ich rosafarbene Häschen mit Schleife und kleiner Blume am Ohr gemacht.

Gefüllt waren sie dann mit einem kleinen goldenen Hasen und selbstgemachten Pralinen. Dabei bin ich etwas experimentell geworden und habe meine eigene Füllungs-Zusammenstellung gemacht. Es gab weiße Pralinen mit Tonka- und Eierlikörfüllung und kleinen Erdbeerstückchen und Zartbitter-Pralinen mit Eierlikör- und Karottenfüllung. 

 

For the women I made pink bunnies with a bow and a little flower attached to the ears. 

I filled them with a little chocolate bunny and some homemade chocolates. I went a bit crazy here, mixing my own fillings. I've made white chocolates with a tonka and  a eggnogg filling with little strawberry bits and some dark chocolate ones with an eggnogg and a carott filling.

Stampcorner April-Release Sneak #2

Der Osterhase hat diesmal ein ganz besonderes Osterei - das April-Release von Stampcorner wird ab 1.4. erhältlich sein. Und das ist natürlich kein April-Scherz! Ich zeige Euch heute ein weiteres Sneak und habe wieder ein Motiv aus dem Set von OmaPlott gewählt.

The easter bunny has a really special easter egg this year - Stampcorner's april release will be available on april 1st. And of course that's not an April's Fool Trick! Today I am sharing another sneak with you and again I've chosen an image from the set by OmaPlott.

Aber auch im Hintergrund versteckt sich ein neues Produkt: ein Stencil mit schrägen Streifen. Ich habe hier ein Stück craft farbenen Cardstock genommen und den Stencil mit Ditress Ink Frayed Burlap aufgewischt. Dann kam wieder die weiße Acrylfarbe zum Einsatz, die ich mit einem Pinsel aufgespritzt habe. So wirkt der Hintergrund dezent und trotzdem nicht langweilig!

But I've also used another new product in the background: a stencil with diagonal stripes. I used it and Distress Ink Frayed Burlap to add some stripes to a piece of kraft colored cardstock. Then I used white acrylic paint and added a few splatters to the cardstock.

Ich bin mir nicht so ganz sicher, ob ich richtig liege, aber ich denke, hier handelt es sich um ein Lama... Ich habe es mit Copics braun coloriert. 

Mit der Slimline Film Strip Stanze von WhimsyStamps habe ich den großen Negativ-Rahmen aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und hinter die Löcher links und rechts weißen Cardstock gesetzt. Dann habe ich alles mit türkisem Cardstock hinterlegt und von oben rechts noch einige Palmblätter, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock, aufgeklebt. 

Das Lama habe ich per Hand ausgeschnitten, die Nase habe ich außerem mit Glossy Accents überzogen. Oben links über dem Kopf habe ich eine Sprechblase mit einem "hi" darin aus dem Set Nasenbande angebracht. 

Das Wort aloha ist mit der Scripty Aloha Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht. Ich habe es aus dunkelgelbem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distess Ink Rusty Hinge etwas schattiert. Hinter dem gelben Wort befinden sich noch drei Lagen schwarzen Cardstocks, die das Wort nicht nur eine Ebene nach oben holen, sondern ihm auch Stabilität verleihen, da der untere Teil "in der Luft schwebt". 

I am not entirely sure but I think this is a Llama... I colored it brown with my Copics.

Using the Slimline Film Strip die by WhimsyStamps I die cut the large negative frame from black cardstock and put strips of white cardstock behind the holes along the sides. Then I put some aqua cardstock behind the window and added some palm leaves to the top right corner, cut from black cardstock. 

I cut the llama out by hand and covered his nose with Glossy Accents. Above his head I placed a little speech bubble with the word "hi" in it.

The word aloha is made with the Scripty Aloha die by LawnFawn. I die cut it from dark yellow cardstock and used Distress Ink Rusty Hinge to shade its bottom. Behind the yellow word I put three layers cut from black cardstock, not only to bring it up a notch, but also to make it more sturdy because the bottom half is kind of "hanging in the air". 

Und dann hatte ich die Idee, dem Lama eine Sonnenbrille aufzusetzen - schließlich scheint es sich in tropischen Gefilden zu befinden. Aber ich war mir echt nicht sicher - und bin es immer noch nicht - ob das nicht zu viel vom Motiv verdeckt. Deswegen ist sie erstmal nur aufgelegt und vor dem Verschicken entscheide ich dann spontan.

Die Sonnenbrille habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt, die Gläser mit Glossy Accents überzogen und dann nur das Gestell nochmal aus schwarzem Cardstock obenauf geklebt.

Rechts neben dem Filmstreifen-Rahmen befindet sich noch eine gezackte Sprechblase, die ich mit einer Stanze von WhimsyStamps einmal aus weißem und einmal aus gelbem Cardstock gestanzt und dann aufeinander geklebt habe. Darauf habe ich dann mit Versafine Clair Nocturne einen der Texte aus dem neuen Stempelset gestempelt.

Und weil die rechte Seite der Karte noch so leer wirkte, habe ich hier noch ein Fähnchen aus türkisfarbenem Cardstock sowie einen Anker, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock, mit angebracht.

And then I had the idea, to add some sun glasses to the llama because he seems to be on vacation in the tropics. But I really wasn't - and still am not - sure if it covers too much of the image. So I just laid it down here and will decide last minute if I want to use it once I plan to send it out.

I die cut the glasses from black cardstock, covered them with Glossy Accents and then put just the frame, again cut from black cardstock, on top.

Onto the right of the film strip I added a spiky bubble, that I cut once from white and once from yellow cardstock using a die by WhimsyStamps, then stacked them. On top I stamped a "vacation? yes please" text, that also comes in the new set, using Versafine Clair Nocturne.

And sicne the right side of the card looked pretty plain I added a turquoise banner and an anchor, cut from black cardstock, there.

 

Zum Zusammenkleben der einzelnen Elemente habe ich wieder 3D Tape verwendet - nur der türkisfarbene Himmel, das Fähnchen und der Anker sind direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

To put the elements together I used foam tape - only the türkis sky, the bannner and the anchor are attached directly onto the background.

Und, seid Ihr Team "mit" oder Team "ohne" Sonnenbrille? Auch die habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape hinterlegt.

Als Deko habe ich dann noch ein paar gelbe Enamel Dots auf der Karte verteilt, den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

So, are you team "with" or "without" sun glasses? Also behind those I put some thin foam tape.

Then I added a few yellow Enamel Dots to the card, matted the card panel black and attached it to a white card base.

Frohe Ostern

Vor kurzem habe ich Euch ja die Karte mit den Schweinchen von MamaElephant gezeigt. Nun ist es ja so, dass so ein Stempelset nie alleine reisen sollte, es könnte sich fürchten. Deswegen habe ich das Deliver Spring Happiness Set mitbestellt... ;) Und das habe ich auf dieser Osterkarte verwendet.

A little ago I shared the card with the piggies by MamaElephant with you. Well, you for sure know that a stamp set should never travel alone, it might be frightened. So I also ordered the Deliver Spring Happiness set... ;) And I used that on this easter card.

Nun, das wird eine Überraschung, wenn die Kinder des Hühnerbauern morgens die Eier im Hühnerstall einsammeln wollen und stattdessen das hier vorfinden... 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem weißen Stück Cardstock, das ich mit Distress Ink Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina und Tumbled Glass gewischt habe. Dann habe ich Wasser und weiße Acrylfarbe darauf gespritzt.

It's going to  be a big surprise when the farmer's kids go to collect the eggs from the chicken coop in the morning and instead find this...

The background I made from a piece of white cardstock, that I inked with Distress Ink Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass. Then I splattered some water and some white acrylic paint onto it.

Für den Hühnerstall habe ich die Slimline Chicken Coop Stanze von WhimsyStamps benutzt, dabei aber nur den Teil mit der Tür verwendet. Auch die habe ich herausgeschnitten und per Partial DieCutting einen Rahmen aus hellgrauem Cardstock, der eigentlich am längeren Teil des Hühnerstalls angebracht wird, gestanzt. Auch das Dach habe ich mit Partial DieCutting auf die richtige Länge gestanzt. Die Teile  habe ich mit Copics etwas schattiert und von hinten mit 3D Tape ein Stück dunkelgrauen Cardstocks, das ich mit Distress Oxide Black Soot etwas gewischt habe, hinter das Fenster geklebt. 

Aus dem Deliver Spring Happiness Set sind natürlich die Motive - das kleine Küken rechts ist einfach noch einmal das Küken des Motives, das sich im Inneren des Hühnerstalls befindet. Eigentlich bin ich ja nicht so für knallig bunte Motive, und im Frühling benutze ich gerne Pastellfarben. Aber Ostereier müssen für mich kräftig-bunt sein, deswegen habe ich hier farblich in die Vollen gegriffen.

Unter die Motive habe ich Grasbüschel gesetzt, die eigentlich Strohnester sind und ebenfalls in dem Chicken Coop Set enthalten sind. Ich habe sie aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics im Gras-Look coloriert. Später habe ich mit einem Cutter Schlitze in das Gras geschnitten und die Motive ein Stückchen hineingesteckt.

Und das kleine Körbchen rechts ist eine Stanze von Elizabeth Craft Design, die ich schon seit Ewigkeiten habe, aber noch nie benutzt habe. Das tolle ist, dass hier drei Teile gestanzt werden, die ineinander geflochten werden. So erhält das Körbchen einen tollen echten Flechtlook. Ich habe die Teile aus der Tür, die ich vom Hühnerstall abgeschnitten habe, gestanzt, die hatte nämlich ein tolles Holzmuster eingestanzt. Dann habe ich auch hier die Teile etwas mit Copics schattiert und zusammengeklebt. Oben an den Henkel habe ich noch eine Schleife aus dem Build-a-Drink Mason Jar Add-On Set von LawnFawn geklebt.

For the chicken coop I used the Slimline Chicken Coop die by WhimsyStamps, but only used the smaller part with the door. I also cut the door out and did some partial diecutting to cut a frame from light grey cardstock, that is usually made to put onto the longer part of the coop. I did partial diecutting again to cut the roof to the right length and used Copics to lightly shade the pieces. Then I glued a piece of dark grey cardstock that I had inked with some Distress Oxide Black Soot, with foam tape behind the window. 

Of course the images are from the Deliver Spring Happiness set - the little chick on the right is the one of the image that I put inside the coop used individually. Usually I am not the very colorful crafter and for spring I also prefer pastel colors, but easter eggs just have to be bright and colorful so I colored them just like that.

I put little nests of grass under the images. Those are meant to be straw nests and come in the Chicken Coop die set. I cut them from white cardstock and colored them in grass look with Copics. Later I used a cutter to cut slits into them and tucked the bottom of the images into them. 

The little basket is made with a die by Elizabeth Craft Design, that I bought a long time ago but never used it. The gerat thing is, that it is made from three pieces that get woven. This way the basket has a great woven look. I die cut it from the cardstock of the door that I cut off the coop because it had a great wood pattern embossed into it. Then I shaded the pieces with Copics and glued a little bow, cut with a die from the Build-a-Drink Mason Jar Add-On set by LawnFawn, to the handle.

Aus leuchtend grünem Cardstock und mit dem Wedding Alphabet von XCut habe ich die Buchstaben für das Wort Frohe gestanzt. Da die Cardstockfarbe doch ziemlich identisch mit dem gewischten Hintergrund war, habe ich die Buchstaben von unten mit Distress Ink Mowed Lawn etwas abgedunkelt. Ich habe jeweils drei grüne und ein weißes Stanzteil aufeinander geklebt und die Buchstaben dann mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Sie bieten oben dann auch eine Auflagefläche für meine zwei Nester.

Mit hellblauer Tinte und einem der Stempel aus dem Set Frohe Festtage von Kulricke habe ich das Wort Ostern abgestempelt, ausgeschnitten und quer über das Wort Frohe geklebt.

From bright green cardstock and the Wedding Alphabet die set by XCut I die cut the letters for the word "frohe" - happy. Since the color of the cardstock was pretty much the same as the inked background I used Distress Ink Mowed Lawn to darken the bottom of the letters. I stacked three green and one white letter and then used foam tape to adhere them to the background. Their tops also make a great space to use as some ground for the two nests.

With light blue ink I stamped the word easter, cut it out and glued it across the die cut letters.

Da ich das Hühnerhaus ja bereits mit 3D Tape zusammengesetzt habe, musste ich auch welches hinter den Text - wie schon oben erwähnt - und auch die Motive setzen. Dort habe ich es dann sogar aufgedoppelt, damit sie noch etwas höher stehen als das Hühnerhaus.

Den dekorierten Cardstock habe ich dann auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Since I used foam tape to put the henn house together I also had to put some behind the text - as mentioned above - and the nests. I doubled it up behind those to make them even higher than the house and letters.

Then I put the finished card panel onto a white note card.

Für meinen heutigen Post auf dem Stampcorner Blog habe ich ein weiteres Motiv aus der Adventskalender-Aktion 2023, das ich bisher noch nicht verwendet hatte, benutzt. Und so ist diese Alles-wird-gut-Karte entstanden.

For today's post over on the Stampcorner Blog I used another image from the advent calendar 2023, that I hadn't inked up so far. And that's how this Everything-will-be-fine-Card came to life.

Ursprünglich wollte ich einen komplett gewischten Hintergrund für die Karte haben, aber das sah irgendwie fad aus. Also habe ich den mit Distress Oxide Tattered Rose, Shaded Lilac und Blueprint Sketch gewischten Hintergrund später kurzerhand kleiner geschnitten und mit einem Stück weißen Cardstock hinterlegt, den ich mit einer Herzstencil in meiner Big Shot geprägt habe. Das Muster ist so nicht so tief wie mit einem Embossingfolder, aber gerade das subtile gefällt mir hier.

I originally had planned to use a fully inked piece of cardstock for my background, but that looked boring. So I cut the cardstock, that I had inked with Distress Oxide Tattered Rose, Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch, smaller later and put it onto a piece of white cardstock that I had dry embossed with a heart stencil. The pattern isn't as deep/clear as it is when used an embossing folder, but I like just that more subtle look for this card.

Hier sieht man, dass ich auf den gewischten Hintergrund zuerst etwas Wasser gespritzt und dann den Distressed Hintergrund mit den selben Farben, die ich auch zum Wischen verwendet habe, aufgestempelt habe. Dabei habe ich versucht, die jeweiligen Farbbereiche zu treffen und an den Übergängen auch die Farben ein wenig ineinander übergehen zu lassen.

Das Rechteck, das ich aus dem Hintergrund geschnitten habe, habe ich dann mit einer der Rectangle Wave Stanzen, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock, hinterlegt.

Das goldige Motiv ist aus dem Stempelset Zebra Zarah. Ich liebe es, wie die kleine Maus das große Zebra zu trösten versucht. Ich habe Copics zum Colorieren verwendet und Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift gesetzt.

Die Sprechblasen sind aus dem Set Nasenbande - die Sprechblase mit den Herzen habe ich per Mirror Stamping in die andere Richtung gedreht. Dann habe ich sie ausgeschnitten und mit schwarzem Cardstock hinterlegt.

Außerdem habe ich hinter dem Motiv einen Strahlenkranz mit weißer Tinte aufgewischt - den sieht man nur kaum. Deswegen habe ich noch den Big Hugs Circle Frame von MFT aus Vellum gestanzt und dazwischen gesetzt. Außerdem habe ich ein Oval, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock, als Boden unter das Motiv geklebt.

Here you can see, that I first flicked some water onto the inked background, then used the same inks to stamp the Distressed background onto the cardstock. I tried to use the colors just in the areas that are inked in that color and also get a kind of soft transition in the colors. 

The rectangle I have cut from the background I matted with one of the Rectangle Wave dies, that I have cut from black cardstock.

The cute image is from the Zebra Zarah stamp set. I love, how that little mouse is trying to lift up the big zebra. I used Copics to color the image in and added highlights with a white gel pen.

The speech bubbles are from the Nasenbande set - I did some mirror stamping to flip the one with the hearts in it. Then I cut them out and matted them with black cardstock.

I also inked a circle of rays with white ink behind the image, but it is hardly visible. So I die cut the Big Hugs Circle Frame by MFT from vellum and put it behind the image. I also used an oval, die cut from black cardstock, as the ground under my images.

Die Texte darunter sind embossed. Das Kuschelzeit aus dem Stempelset Kuschelzeit habe ich mit Distress Glaze Saltwater Taffy auf weißen Cardstock embosst - die Farbe passte tatsächlich besser zum Tattered Rose Oxide Kissen als das Glaze in Tattered Rose. Das Herz auf dem I habe ich weggeschnitten und durch ein kleines rosafarbenes Herz-Embellishment ersetzt.

Der Text darunter ist mit Stempeln aus dem Set Kleine Worte zusammengesetzt und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

The texts underneath are embossed. The larger one means "time for cuddles" and I embossed it with Distress Glaze Saltwater Taffy onto white cardstock. This color actually fit the Oxide Tattered Rose better than the actual Tattered Rose Glaze. I cut off the dot on the I and replaced it with a light pink heart embellishment.

The text underneath means "everything will be fine" and is white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

Nun mag Euch die Anordnung des Textes etwas komisch vorkommen. Das liegt daran, dass mein Entschluss, den Hintergrund kleiner zu schneiden, erst gefallen ist, als ich bereits alle Elemente aufgeklebt hatte - er war eigentlich mittig auf dem Cardstock. Durch das Ausschneiden ist er nach rechts gewandert. Also habe ich, bevor ich die Motive auf den geprägten Hintergrund geklebt habe, ein Stück lila-weißes Twine um den weißen Cardstock gewickelt und links neben dem Motiv zur Schleife gebunden. So wirkt dann doch alles wieder stimmig.

Ich habe noch einige mehr der hellrosa Herzen aufgeklebt, das Rechteck mit dem Motiv mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den weißen Cardstock und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

The arrangement/position of the text might look a bit odd to you. That's because I decided to cut down the background only after I had adhered all the elements - originally the text was placed in the center of the background. But since I cut that out the text moved to the right. So before adhering the images to the embossed cardstock I wrapped a piece of purple and white twine around the cardstock and tied it to a bow on the left of the image. That balances the design out.

I added a few more of the light pink hearts, adhered the rectangle with the images with thin foam tape and then attached everything to a white note card.

Früher habe ich, wie so viele, auch mal Motive "auf Vorrat" coloriert und übriggebliebene Stanzteile für eine andere Karte aufgehoben. Nun war es so, dass das richtige Motiv sowieso nie dabei war, und farblich hat auch nie etwas gepasst. Und als mich dann dieser Haufen so genervt hat, dass alles in den Papierkorb gewander ist, habe ich beschlossen, in Zukunft nur noch "auf Bedarf" zu basteln, also nur die Elemente für die Karte, die ich gerade werkle. 

Nun ist es so, dass in letzter Zeit doch immer mal ein Teil auf meinem Tisch liegen bleibt - "das kann ich bestimmt noch gebrauchen". Und tatsächlich kam einiges nach einiger Zeit doch noch zum Einsatz. Zu lange hebe ich aber nichts mehr auf. Trotzdem ist diese Karte quasi komplett aus Resten entstanden. Und auch wenn es sicher nicht die schönste Karte ist, die ich je gebastelt habe, finde ich sie doch gar nicht so schlecht....

When I started crafting I often colored images "for a future project" and kept left over die cuts - just like many of us do. But I never had the right image ready and the colors never matched either. And after that pile of images and die cuts really started bothering me, I just threw everything away and decided, to only craft "what I needed for my current project" from then on. 

Well, during the last months I kept a few pieces - "maybe I can use it for something else". And actually I did! I didn't keep things for too long. But still, this card is made nearly from left overs. And even if it may not be the most beautiful card I've ever made, I think it turned out cute.

Der Hintergrund war von der Technique Throwback Thursday Challenge im Februar übrig. Ich hatte diesen hier mit helleren Farben gestaltet, so hatte er mir aber nicht gefallen. Als ich dann aber einen weiteren mit dunkleren Farben gemacht hatte, bin ich über den helleren einfach nochmal drüber und so wurde er doch noch ganz gut. Okay, er hatte ein paar lilafarbene Flecken an einer Seite, deswegen kam er damals nicht zum Einsatz. Aber ich habe ihn aufgehoben. 

Nun habe ich mit einer Wolkenstanze schräg eine Ecke eines Stücks weißen Cardstocks weg gestanzt and dann mit einer Kreisstanze drei Kreise daraus ausgestanzt. Die Kreise sollten als Fenster dienen, durch die man den Regenbogenhintergrund noch erkennen kann - außerdem deckt er die Flecken auf dem Hintergrund ab. 

The background was left over from the february Technique Throwback Thursday challenge. I had made this one with lighter colors but didn't like it. So I made another, darker one and simply went over the light one again with the darker colors. So it changed to a not so bad one. Well, it had a few purple spots on one side, so I didn't use it back then. But I kept it.

Now I used a cloud border die to cut off the edge of a piece of white cardstock, then cut three circles from it. I wanted those circle cut outs to be windows, through which you can see the rainbow background - but the cardstock also covers the purple spots.

Die Motive waren eine andere Sache. Ich habe sie auf die Schnelle an einem Tag coloriert, an dem ich von vornherein wusste, dass ich nur etwas eine Stunde Zeit zum Basteln haben würde. Irgendwie fiel mir dann das Stempelset von Action in die Hände und weil die Motive recht einfach waren, habe ich drei davon coloriert. Da ich kein wirkliches Projekt damit im Kopf hatte, habe ich mir mit der Farbgebung recht schwer getan und ich finde auch, dass sie alle viel zu dunkel ausgefallen sind. Aber gut, auch sie durften erstmal auf meinem Tisch liegen bleiben. 

Ich habe dann beschlossen, sie mit einigen Accessoires aufzuwerten. Dem Bären habe ich einen großen Schnurrbart, gestanzt mit einer Stanze von Kulricke aus schwarzem Cardstock, verpasst. Der Hase trägt eine Brille, ebenfalls aus schwarzem Cardstock mit einer Stanze von MFT gestanzt. 

Die Motive habe ich ausgeschnitten und in die Fenster geklebt.

 

The images now were a different thing. I quickly colored them on a day that I knew I only have about an hour to craft. I somehow came across a stamp set by Action and since the images were quite simple, I colored three of them. Since I didn't have an actual project with them in mind, I had a kind of hard time to pick the colors for them. And I also think, they all turned out way too dark. But okay, they were allowed to stay on my table for a bit of time.

I then decided, to pimp them with some accessoires. I glued a big mustache, made from black cardstock using a die by Kulricke, onto the bear's face. The bunny is wearing glasses, also cut from black cardstock using a die by MFT.  

I cut the images out and glued them into the windows.

 

 Hinter dem dritten Fenster befindet sich eine Eule, die ich mit einem Monokel und einem Zylinder ausgestattet habe.

Als es dann später darum ging, einen Text für die Karte zu finden, wollte ich unbedingt irgendeinen

Bezug zu den Tieren herstellen. Da fiel mir der Text "beary hoppy bday from owl of us" ein. Die gestempelten Texte sind aus den Sets HoHoHolidays, Toadally Awesome, Den Sweet Den und So Owlsome von LawnFawen und alle weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Dann habe ich sie mit Sprechblasenstanzen von MamaElephant ausgestanzt und neben den passenden Tieren aufgeklebt.

Für das Wort Bday habe ich eine Birthday-Stanze verwendet und sie dreimal aus weißem Cardstock sowie einmal pinkem Metallic Cardstock gestanzt. Das "irth" habe ich jeweils weggeschnitten, so dass das Wort auf meine Karte passt, und die gestackten Stanzteile mittig auf den weißen Cardstock geklebt.

Behind the third window I placed an owl that I dressed up with a top hat and an eyeglass.

When I came to the point to choose my text, I really wanted to make a connection to the animals I had chosen. After a bit of thinking I had the idea of using "beary hoppy bday from owl of us". The stamped texts are from the stamp sets HoHoHolidays, Toadally Awesome, Den Sweet Den and So Owlsome by LawnFawn. I white heat embossed all of them onto black cardstock and then cut them out using speech bubble dies by MamaElephant and glued them next to the matching animal.

For the word bday I used a birthday word die and cut it three times from white cardstock and once from pink metallic cardstock. I cut off the "irth" of each word so the text would fit my card, then adhered the stacked die cuts to the center of the white cardstock.

Den weißen Cardstock habe ich mit 3D Tape auf den Regenbogenhintergrund geklebt und als Deko einige irisierende weiße Perlen hinzugefügt. Und als Abschluss habe ich rund um den Cardstock noch einen Rahmen aufgemalt - auf dem regenbogenfarbenen Cardstock mit einem weißen Gelstift, auf dem weißen Cardstock mit einem schwarzen Fineliner.

Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I used foam tape to adhere the white cardstock to the rainbow background and added a few white iridescent pearls as decoration. I also thought, that the card panel needed some kind of frame, so I simply drew that on using a white gel pen on the rainbow background, a black fineliner on the white cardstock.

As a last step I just glued everything to a white note card.

Stampcorner April-Release Sneak #1

Heute zeige ich Euch das erste Sneak auf das April-Release von Stampcorner. Es wird wieder eine neues Set von OmaPlott geben, und wie immer war ich sofort verliebt. Dieser kleine Kerl hier ist eines der Motive darin.

Today I am sharing with you the first sneak of the april release by Stampcorner. There will be a new set designed by OmaPlott again. And as always I was hooked immediately. This little guy is one of the images included.

Der Hintergrund meiner Karte besteht aus einem Stück aqua farbenen Cardstock, auf den ich mit Tinte in fast dem gleichen Farbton die Speedlines aufgestempelt habe. Dann habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

The background of my card is made from a piece of aqua colored cardstock, on top I stamped the Speedlines using ink in nearly the same tone. Then I splattered white acrylic paint on top.

Ist der kleine Kerl nicht einfach zu süß? Ich liebe den struppigen Look. Und er ist auch wirklich einfach zu colorieren - ein paar Schatten reichen schon. 

Da ich unbedingt eine Geburtstagskarte machen wollte, habe ich ihm den Partyhut aus dem Set Eule aufgesetzt. Alles ist mit Copics coloriert. Nach dem Ausschneiden habe ich unter die Füße des Strauß als Boden noch ein Oval, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock, gesetzt.

Der Text auf meiner Karte ist ein Mix aus Stempeln und gestanzten Buchstaben. Die Buchstaben für das "ALT?" habe ich mit dem Impact Alphabet und dem Impact Numbers - für das Fragezeichen - von MFT gestanzt, einmal aus schwarzem und einmal aus orangefarbenem Cardstock. Die orangefarbenen Buchstaben habe ich erst mit Distress Ink Rusty Hinge von unten her etwas schattiert, dann habe ich mit weißer Stempelfarbe und dem Pinstripe Background von MFT quer weiße Linien aufgestempelt. Die Buchstaben habe ich dann leicht versetzt aufeinander und dann auf den Hintergrund geklebt. In der Mitte habe ich eine Lücke für den Vogel gelassen.

Das Na? und das Guckst Du! sind Texte aus dem neuen Stempelset. Das Na? habe ich mit Versafine Clair Nocturne über dem A von Alt direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt. 

Das Guckst Du! habe ich weiß auf schwarzen Carstock embosst und dann mit einer Sprechblasenstanze von MamaElephant ausgestanzt. 

Isn't this little guy the cutest? I love his fuzzy looks. And he's really easy to color - a bit of shading is enough to make him look good.

Since I really wanted to make a birthday card, I put the party hat from the set Eule on his head. Everything is colored with Copics. After cutting the image out I added an oval, die cut from black cardsdtock, under the bird's feet to give him something to stand on.

The text on my card is a mix of die cut letters and stamped words. The letters for the word ALT? - old? - I've die cut from black and orange cardstock using the Impact Alphabet and the Impact Numbers - for the question mark - sets by MFT. I used Distress Ink Rusty Hinge to shade the orange letters from the bottom up, then I used white pigment ink and the Pinstripe Background by MFT to add some horizontal stripes to them. I stacked the black and orange letters a bit offset and attached them to the background. In the center I left some room for the ostrich. 

The "Na?" - you could translate that as a "So?" - and the "Guckst Du!" - "now you look!" - are stamps from the new set. I used Versafine Clair Nocturnne to directly stamp the word Na? onto the background. 

The other text I white heat embossed onto black cardstdock and cut it out with a speech bubble die by MamaElephant.

Hach, ich krieg von dem Ausdruck im Gesicht des Vogels einfach nicht genug! 

Unten auf der Karte habe ich noch einen kleineren Text angebracht. So ganz ohne Glückwünsche geht es ja dan doch nicht....

Hier habe ich Stempel aus dem Set Kleine Worte benutzt, sie wiederum weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und ausgeschnitten.

To the bottom of the card I added a little subtext. You can't make a birthday card without a birthday greeting...

I white heat embossed the "very happy birthday to you" onto black cardstock and cut it out.

Das Motiv habe ich mit dickem, die embossten Texte mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt und als Deko noch ein paar schwarze Perlen auf der Karte verteilt.

Dann habe ich den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I adhered the image with thick foam tape, behind the embossed texts I put some thin foam tape, then added a few black pearls as embellishments.

I matted the card panel black and attached it to a white note card.

Im Februar kam ein weiteres Little Agenda Set von MamaElephant heraus: das Little Pig Agenda Set. Ich liebe diese Reihe und weil ich unter dem Full Set Syndom leide - wobei ich jetzt stolz erwähnen muss, dass ich nicht alle Little Agenda Sets habe denn einige gefallen mir einfach nicht - mussten die kleinen Schweinchen einfach bei mir einziehen. Hier haben sie es endlich auf eine "saumäßige" Karte geschafft.

In february MamaElephant released another set in their Little Agenda line: the Little Pig Agenda set. I love this series and since I really have full set syndrom - allthough I have to mention here that I don't own all of that series because I simply don't like some of the sets - those little piggies had to move in with me. Here I finally used them on a birthday card.

Schweinchen-Pink war dann auch die Wahl für die Hauptfarbe der Karte.

Ich habe ein Stück weißen Cardstocks von unten mit Distress Oxide Abandoned Coral und Tattered Rose gewischt und die Farben oben hin auslaufen lassen, so dass dort noch etwas weiß sichtbar ist. Dann habe ich einen Streifen aus ebenfalls weißem Cardstock geschnitten, die Kante mit einer Wolkenstanze ausgestanzt und auch diesen Cardstock auf die selbe Weise gewischt. Nur auf den großen Hintergrund habe ich dann korallefarbene und rote Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt, das rot nur auf die untere Hälfte.

Piggie-pink then also was my choice for the main color of the card.

I inked a piece of white cardstock from the bottom with Distress Oxide Abandoned Coral and Tattered Rose, letting the color fade out at the top so there's some white cardstock visible there. 

Then I cut a strip from white cardstock, used a cloud border die to cut the top edge and inked this strip the same way I did the largeone. Only onto the large cardstock piece I then splattered some coral and red metallic watercolor, putting the red only onto the bottom half.

Schweinchen bringen ja Glück - also habe ich mich für ein "herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag" als Text entschieden und dabei das Wort Glück mit gestanzten Buchstaben gestaltet. Die habe ich mit dem Impact Alphabet von MFT aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt und von unten her ein wenig mit Broken China gewischt. Mit einem weißen Gelstift habe ich Highlights aufgemalt.

Die Buchstaben habe ich an der Unterkante an die Wolkenkante des Cardstockstreifens geklebt und dort fanden dann drei kleine Schweinchen Platz. 

Ich habe alle Motive hier mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Unter die drei sitzenden Schweinchen habe ich jeweils ein kleines Oval, gemacht mit der Ovals and Shadows Stanze von Create a Smile, geklebt. 

Über dem mittleren Schweinchen befindet sich eine Sprechblase, in die ich ein Oink Oink gestempelt habe. Die Sprechblase ist aus dem All the Speech Bubbles Set, das Oink aus dem Tiny Farm Set von LawnFawn. 

Piglets are known to bring luck - so I went with a "good luck on your birthday" - a german way to say happy birthday - as my text and used die cut letters to write the word luck. I die cut them from light blue cardstock using the Impact Alphabet set by MFT and inked the bottoms lightly with some Broken China. I also added highlights with a white gel pen.

I attached the bottoms of the letters to the cloud border of the cardstock strip and that's where three little piggies found a place to sit.

I colored all images with Copics and cut them out by hand. Under the sitting piggies I put a tiny oval, made from white cardstock with the Oval and Shadows die by Create a Smile.

Above the piglet in the center I placed a speech bubble, that I stamped "oink oink" into. The speech bubble is from the All the Speech Bubbles set, the word from the Tiny Farm set by LawnFawn. 

Oben am Himmel fliegen zwei weitere Schweinchen. Die Flügel habe ich mit Stickles beglittert.

Daneben, teilweise unter die gestanzten Buchstaben geschoben, befindet sich eine "zackige Wolke", die ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt habe. Darauf habe ich mit korallefarbener Tinte ein "heute lassen wir die Sau raus" aufgestempelt. Die untere Kante habe ich zusätzlich mit dunkler roter Tinte gestempelt und rechts/unten an den Worten Sau raus feine schwarze Linien aufgemalt. 

Der Rest des Textes ist mit Stempeln aus dem Set Kleine Worte von Stampcorner und schwarzer Tinte gestempelt - das "herzlichen" ebenfalls auf die weiße Zackenwolke, den Rest zwischen zwei der Schweinchen unten auf dem Cardstockstreifen. 

In the sky there are two more piggies flying around. I covered their wings with Stickles.

Next to them, partly tucked under the die cut letters, I placed a "spikey cloud", that I cut from white cardstock. Onto that I stamped "today we let sows out" with red ink. This is a german way to say that you're going to party really hard. I used darker red ink at the bottom of the larger words and also drew thin lines with a black fineliner as some kind of shadows. 

The rest of the text is stamped with black ink - part also onto the white spike-thing, the rest between two of the sitting pigs on the cardstock strip.

 

Den Cardstockstreifen mit den Buchstaben habe ich mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt, auch die Schweinchen und die Sprechblase sind mit 3D Tape befestigt. 

Als Deko habe ich ein paar kleine rote Herzen hinzugefügt, dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I attached the cardstockstrip with the letters with foam tape to the background, also the behind the piglets and the speech bubble I put some foam tape.

I added a few red hearts as decoration and then adhered the card panel to a white note card.

Trauerkarte mal anders

Jetzt hätte ich doch fast die Technique Throwback Thursday Challenge im März verpasst. Zum Glück fiel sie mir gestern ein - und ich habe gleich eine Karte dafür gemacht. Ich war eh gerade auf der Suche nach einer Kartenidee. Diesen Monat dreht sich das Video mit der Aufgabe darum, Cardstock mit Stanzteilen zu prägen.

I nearly missed this month's Technique Throwback Thursday challenge! Luckily I remembered it yesterday - and sat down right away to make a card. I was looking for a card idea anyway. This month's video with the theme is about dry embossing with die cuts.

Ich habe mir gerade einige der Stanzen aus der Nordic-Reihe von Poppystamps gegönnt und die lagen noch auf meinem Tisch (ich mache das gerne mit neuen Sachen um sicherzugehen, dass sei beim sofortigen Wegräumen nicht in Vergessenheit geraten). Die Häschen hätten sich jetzt vor Ostern natürlich angeboten, da fehlte mir aber im ersten Moment die zündende Idee für den Hintergrund und wie ich die Technik dort einbauen könnte. Aber die Vögel haben mich dann inspiriert. Und so ist eine etwas andere Trauer-Karte entstanden - auch wenn sie natürlich eigentlich für die Weihnachtszeit designed sind. 

Für meinen "Embossingfolder" habe ich Wolken ausgestanzt - ein wilder Mix von verschiedenen Firmen. Die habe ich dann in der Größe des schwarzen Cardstocks, denn ich embossen wollte, arrangiert. Und weil mir die Stellen zwischen den Wolken zu leer waren, habe ich auch noch kleine Sternchen ausgestanzt und dazwischen gesetzt. Damit habe ich meinen Cardstock dann geprägt. Und auch wenn das Ergebnis nicht ganz an einen richtigen Embossingfolder rankommt, war ich doch sehr überrascht von der Tiefe und den Details der Prägung. 

Dann habe ich silber-weißliche Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

I just recieved my order with some of the dies from the Nordic series by Poppystamps and those were still on my table (I like to leave them there for a bit of time to make sure that I don't forget about them). The bunnies would have been perfect that close to easter. But I didn't get an idea for the background and how to use the technique with those images. But the birds inspired me and so I made this kind of different sympathy card - even if those birds are actually designed for christmas time.

For my "embossing folder" I die cut clouds - a wild mix of different brands - and arranged them on the black cardstock I wanted to emboss. And because the spaces between the clouds looked too empty I die cut some small stars and used them to fill the cardstock a bit more. Then I used this arrangement to dry emboss my cardstock. The result isn't as crisp as a real embossing folder, but I was really surprised about the depth and the details the embossing showed.

I then added some splatters with a silver-white metallic watercolor.

Blau ist ja eine sehr ruhige Farbe und ich fand, die passt gut zu einer Trauerkarte. Wahrscheinlich war ich auch durch das Beispielbild der Verpackung inspiriert. Also habe ich die Teile eines der Vögel aus vier verschiedenen Tönen blauen Cardstocks gestanzt, für die Schattenlage habe ich weiß benutzt. Die welligen Enden der Details habe ich leicht nach oben gebogen und den Vogel mit dünnem 3D Tape auf die Schattenlage geklebt. 

Blue is a very quiet color and so I thought, it's perfect for a sympathy card. Most likely I was also inspired by the sample shown on the packaging. So I used four different shades of blue to die cut the bird layers from, the shadow layer I cut from white cardstock. I've bent up the edges of the detail layers a bit and adhered the bird with thin foam tape to the shadow layer.

Unter dem Vogel habe ich ein aus gestanzten Buchstaben geschriebenes Peace aufgeklebt und dabei Groß- und Kleinbuchstaben gemischt. Die Buchstaben sind mit den Tall Skinny Alphabet Stanzen von Scrapbook.com gemacht. Ich habe jeweils drei weiße Stanzteile zusammengeklebt und obenauf einen Buchstaben aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock geklebt.

Für die kleinen Texte darunter habe ich das With Sympathy Stempelset von AveryElle benutzt und die Texte mit schwarzer Tinte auf mittelblauen Cardstock, den ich auch bereits im Vogel benutzt hatte, gestempelt.

Under the bird I wrote a "peace", made from die cut letters and mixing upper and lower case letters. I made them with the Tall Skinny Alphabet dies by Scrapbook.com and stacked three white die cuts for each letter, then put a letter cut from matte silver metallic cardstock on top.

For the smaller subtexts underneath I used the With Sympathy set by AveryElle and stamped them with black ink onto a midtone blue cardstock that I had also used on the bird.

Den Vogel und die gestempelten Texte  habe ich dann wieder mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

Auch wenn es eine Trauerkarte ist, finde ich, dass ein wenig Glitzer nicht schadet. Also habe ich noch ein paar schwarz-blau irisierende Perlen um den Vogel verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I used thin foam tape again to adhere the bird and the stamped texts to the background.

Even with this being a sympathy card I've decided that a bit of bling doesn't hurt. So I put a few black and blue iridescent pearls around the bird, then attached my card panel to a white note card.

Today I have another easter card to share - and yes, it's an interactive one. But more about that a bit later....

Die Idee zu dieser Karte kam mir als ich LawnFawn's Intro Video zum Hay There Hayrides Bunny Add-On Stempelset angeschaut habe. Wobei angeschaut hier nicht so ganz das richtige Wort ist, ich habe in dem Moment eher zugehört. Und als Kelly-Marie die Texte im Set vorgelesen hat, hat sie das "some bunny loves you" und den Text "it's us" direct nacheinander vorgelesen. Und schon war die Idee zu dieser Karte in meinem Kopf.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich den Stencil rausgeholt, den ich mir letztes Jahr bereits mit Stanzen selbst gemacht habe. Ich habe einfach einen Stencil mit ausgestanzten Karotten und einen weiteren mit dem Grün, gemacht mit einer Blumenstanze, aus Mylar-Folie und mit meiner Big Shot gestanzt. Hat es lange gedauert? Ja. Ist er perfekt? Nein. Macht mir das etwas aus? Überhaupt nicht! Mir war nicht nach einer Karte mit kompletter Szene, ich wollte einen eher dezenten Hintergrund. Deswegen habe ich den Stencil mit Distress Oxide auf craft farbenen Cardstock gewischt. Die Karotten mit Spun Sugar und ein wenig Picked Raspberry, das Grün mit Twisted Citron und etwas Mowed Lawn. Außerdem  habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

I got the idea for this card when I was watching LawnFawn's intro video for the Hay There Hayrides Bunny Add-On stamp set. Well, watching isn't the right word, I was more listening to it at that moment. When Kelly-Marie read the texts of the set, she read the "some bunny loves you" and the "it's us" right after another. And there was the idea for this card.

For the background I brought out the stencil I had made myself last year using dies. I simply die cut carrots into one stencil, then created another one with carrot greens using a flower die, cutting everything with my Big Shot from Mylar. Did it take long? Yes. Is it perfect? No. Do I care? Not at all! I wasn't feeling like making a card with one whole scene and was after a quite sublte background. So I inked the stencil with Distress Oxide onto kraft colored cardstock. I used Spun Sugar and a bit of Picked Raspberry for the carrots and Twisted Citron and some Mowed Lawn for the greens. I also added splatters with white acrylic paint.

Zu Ostern gehört natürlich ein mit Eiern gefülltes Körbchen! Dieses hier ist aus dem Set Eggstra Amazing Easter. Daraus ist auch die Schleife, der Schokohase, das Küken sowie die einzelnen Eier. Das Gras ist aus dem Hay There Hayrides Set, die Eier im Korb und das Blümchen aus dem Carrot 'Bout You Set. Und der Text ist aus dem besagten Hay There Hayrides Bunny Add-On. Alle Motive sind mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Unter das Motiv habe ich noch ein Oval, gestanzt aus Papier aus dem Watercolor Wishes Paper Pad, geklet, damit der Korb nicht so in der Luft schwebt.

Of course there has to be a basket filled with eggs on easter! This one is from the Eggstra Amazing Easter set - from this set I also used the bow, the chocolat bunny, the chicken and the individual eggs. The grass is from the Hay There Hayrides set, the eggs in the basket and the flower is from the Carrot 'Bout You set. And the text is from said Hay There Hayrides Bunny Add-On set. I colored all images with Copics and fuzzy cut them out. Under the image I put an oval, cut from a sheet from the Watercolor Wishes Paper Pad, so the basket isn't flaoting in the air. 

Mein Text nimmt einen großen Teil der Karte ein. Ich habe hier die Giant Happy Easter Stanze benutzt und dreimal aus weißem Cardstock, einmal aus einem pinkfarbenen Papier aus dem Watercolor Wishes Paper Pad gestanzt. Das A von Happy habe ich jeweils weggeschnitten und durch ein O, gestanzt mit dem Finley's ABCs Stanzenset, ersetzt. Ich habe die weißen Die Cuts aufeinander und obenauf den rosafarbenen Text, etwas verschoben geklebt. 

Quer über das Wort Easter habe ich dann noch einen Text aus dem Eggstra Amazing Easter Set geklebt. Der ist mit weißem Embossingpulver auf das selbe Designpapier gestempelt, das ich auch für das Oval verwendet habe. 

In das O von Hoppy habe ich noch ein kleines weißes Herz geklebt.

My text takes up quite some space on this card. I used the Giant Happy Easter die here and cut it three times from white cardstock, once from a pink sheet from the Watercolor Wishes paper pad. I cut off the A of the word happy and replaced it with an O, cut using a die from the Finley's ABCs die set. I stacked the white die cuts and put the pink one on top a bit off. 

Across the word easter I put a smaller text from the Eggstra Amazing Easter set. I white heat embossed it on the same patterned paper that I also cut the oval from.

Into the O of the word hoppy I glued a small white heart.

Da der Text durch die Lagen erhöht ist - und auch damit der interaktive Mechanismus funktioniert - habe ich die Motive mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Auch der grüne Cardstockstreifen mit dem embossten Text ist mit 3D Tape auf den gestanzten Text geklebt.

Später habe ich alles noch mit 3D Tape auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Due to the layering the die cut text is quite high. Because of that and to make the interactive mechanism work I attached the images with foam tape. Also the green strip with the embossed text is glued with foam tape onto the die cut text. 

Later I also used foam tape to glue my card panel onto a white note card.

Auch wenn der Tab am oberen Rand der Karte aus dem Hintergrund gestanzt ist, man sieht ihn doch sofort. Dahinter versteckt sich ein Slider - und wenn man am Tab zieht, erscheinen zwei kleine Hasen im Osterkorb. 

Even if I die cut the tab at the top edge of the card from the background, you can still see it immediately. There's a slider included in this card - and when you pull the tab, two little bunnies show up in the basket.

Ich habe hier das Let's Toast Pull Tab Stanzenset für den Mechanismus verwendet und ihn aus Folie gestanzt. So sieht man ihn nicht. Nur aus den Eiern im Korb, die übrigens direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt sind, musste ich einen Schlitz herausschneiden, damit die Hasen davor auftauchen können.

Die beiden Häschen und auch der Text in der Sprechblase sind wieder aus dem Set Hay There Hayrides Bunny Add-On - nur der dritte Hase hat nicht mit ins Körbchen gepasst, deswegen habe ich ihn weggeschnitten. Die Sprechblasen sind übrigens aus dem Set All The Speech Bubbles. 

Auch die beiden Tabs am Mechanismus, an denen die Motive befestigt werden, habe ich kleiner geschnitten. So passen die Hasen samt Gras gerade so hinter das Körbchen und sind vor dem Ziehen am Tab nicht zu sehen.

I used the Let's Toast Pull Tab die set here to create the mechanism and die cut it from acetate so you don't see it. I only had to cut a slit into the eggs in the basket, that I glued directly onto the background, so the bunnies can appear in front of them. 

The bunnies and the text in the speech bubble are again from the Hay There Hayrides Bunny Add-On Set - the third bunny from this image didn't fit in the basket so I had to cut him off. The speech bubbles are both from the All the Speech Bubbles set. 

I also cut the tabs on the mechanism, that the images get attached to, smaller. Now the bunnies and the grass fit exactly behind the basket and aren't visible until the tab get's pulled.
