Eine schnelle Geburtstagskarte

Heute habe ich eine Geburtstagskarte für Euch, die gar nicht viel Zeit in Anspruch genommen hat. Bastelzeit an diesem Tag war nämlich knapp.

Today I have a birthday card for you, that was made pretty quickly. Because the day I made it I didn't have much time for crafting.

Auf der Karte habe ich einige der Neuheiten aus dem März-Release von Create a Smile eingeweiht. Und eigentlich hatte ich noch den kleinen Vogel aus dem Set Torte coloriert, der passte dann aber vom Stil her irgendwie doch nicht so auf die Karte und so wartet er jetzt auf meinem Tisch darauf, auf eine andere Karte hüpfen zu dürfen.

Ich habe hier den Freude und Jubel Stempel mit türkisfarbener Tinte auf ein Stück hell-türkis farbenen Cardstock gestempelt. Dann habe ich den neuen Hurra Stencil aufgelegt und weiße Stencil-Paste durch ihn hindurch aufgetragen. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich noch goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

Here I used some of the items from Create a Smile's march release. And I actually had also colored the little bird from the set Torte, but then it just didn't fit the style of my card. So it's here in my table now, waiting for another card to hop onto.

I stamped the Freude und Jubel background with turquoise ink onto light aqua cardstock. Then I put the new Hurra stencil onto it and stenciled some white stencil paste onto the cardstock. After the paste had dried I also added some splatters of gold metallic watercolor.

Hauptelement ist der große gestanzte Text. Den habe ich mit der Du Hast Geburtstag Stanze gemacht - die Schattenlage aus weißem Cardstock, den Text an sich aus ins Grau gehende Türkis. Ich habe hier drei Lagen des Textes aufeinander geklebt und bei der obersten Lage nur das Wort Geburtstag von unten her etwas mit Copics schattiert. Auf den oberen Teil der Buchstaben habe ich goldene Stickles aufgetragen. 

Vom an den Ballons schwebenden Hippo aus dem Set Dicke Party habe ich mir drei Luftballons geklaut, coloriert, ausgeschnitten und an den Text geklebt.

Unter dem Text habe ich dann noch einen kleinen Text angebracht. Der ist aus dem Set Kleine Texte und wieder mit türkisfarbener Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. 

Main element of this card is the large die cut text. I used the Du Hast Geburtstag die - it's your birthday - here and die cut the shadow layer from white, the text from some grey-ish turquoise cardstock. I stacked three of those texts and used Copics to shade the bottom of the word birthday of just the top layer. Onto the top of the letters I put some gold Stickles.

I've "stolen" some balloons from the hippo floating in the air from the Dicke Party set, colored them and attached them to the text.

Under the die cut text I added a little greeting. It's stamped with turquoise ink onto white cardstock. 

Mit der Kleine Blüten Stanze habe ich dann einige kleine Blümchen aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics eine gelbe Blütenmitte aufgemalt. Die habe ich dann mit einem Embossing-Tool etwas gerundet und habe sie in einer schrägen Linieauf die Karte geklebt. 

Using the Kleine Blüten die I die cut some small flowers from white cardstock and drew a yellow flower center onto them. Then I rounded them a bit with an embossing tool and glued them in a line across the card.

Da der gestackte Text etwas höher ist, habe ich hinter die Ballons dickes und hinter den kleinen Text dünnes 3D Tape gesetzt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles weiß gemattet.

Since the stacked text has quite some dimension I put some thick foam tape behind the balloons and thin foam tape behind the small text.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.
