Drei kleine Boxen

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Ich hatte Euch ja versprochen, dass es dieses Jahr keine Halloweenkarte mehr von mir geben wird. Naja, und genau genommen habe ich nicht mal gelogen - von Boxen war ja keine Rede. Deswegen zeige ich Euch heute die kleinen Boxen, die ich für meine Kolleginnen zu Halloween gemacht habe.

I promised you that there will be no more Halloween cards this year. And I don't think I lied - no one talked about boxes. And so I am sharing those little treat boxes, that I made for my co-workers, today.

Eigentlich war das gar nicht geplant, aber dann habe ich das Stempelset Ghosts von CC Designs gesehen und konnte sofort ein Gespenst als eine meiner Kolleginnen identifizieren. Da konnte ich dann nicht anders, als es zu kaufen und natürlich auch zu benutzen.

I actually hadn't planned that, but then I saw the Ghosts stamp set by CC Designs and immediately had one of my colleagues as one of those ghosts in mind. I just couldn't resist to buy it, and of course use it, right away.

Für die Boxen habe ich jeweils die Streichholzschachtel-Stanze von Kulricke benutzt und Schublade und Umverpackung jeweils aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt. Dann habe ich mit Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn und Twisted Citron sowie der Laub/Gras Stencil von Kulricke Gebüsch und Farn auf die Oberseite der Boxen gewischt. 

Den Mond aus dem Spooky Forest Backdrop von LawnFawn habe ich aus gold-holografischem Cardstock gestanzt, die Nebelschwaden aus Vellum sind mit der Cloud Cover Stanze von MFT gemacht. Außerdem habe ich einige Sterne - hier in gold - auf den Himmmel geklebt.

For the boxes I die cut both, the drawer and the sleeve, from black cardstock, using the Matchbox die by Kulricke. Then I used a stencil and Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron to ink some bushes and a large fern onto each of the sleeves.

The moon from the Spooky Forest Backdrop by LawnFawn I die cut from gold holographic cardstock, the fog from vellum are made using the Cloud Cover dies by MFT I also added some star confetti - gold on this box - to the sky.

Auf dieser Box befindet sich eine kleine Geisterhexe, die gut gelaunt auf ihrem Besen übers Land fliegt. Alle Motive sind mir Copics coloriert und dann ausgeschnitten. 

On this box there's a little ghost witch, that is flying happily through the sky. I colored all images with Copics.

Auf dieser Box befindet sich ein kleiner "grumpy" Geist. Ich finde den einfach absolut genial! 

Der kleine Text unter den Motiven ist jeweils aus dem Itty Bitty Boos Stempelset von MFT und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

 

On this box there's a little grumpy ghost that I am absolutely in love with!

The text under the images is made with the Itty Bitty Boos set by MFT and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

 

 Auf dieser Box habe ich lilafarbene Sterne benutzt.

On this box I used some purple star confetti.

Und auf der dritten Box befindet sich wieder ein gut gelaunter Geister. Da der in die andere Richtung schaut, habe ich die Box im Vergleich zu den anderen spiegelverkehrt gearbeitet.

And on this third box there's another happy ghost. Since he's facing the opposite direction, compared to the other boxes, I mirrored all the elements on this box.

Den Text und den Mond habe ich jeweils mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Und hinter die kleinen Gespenster habe ich jeweils einen Action Wobbler gesetzt. 

 

I put some foam tape behind the moon and the text. And behind each of the ghosts I put an Action Wobbler.

 

 

 

Der Wackeleffekt ist so klasse und passt perfekt zu den süßen Motiven. Das Bild ist nicht das beste, aber das hat mich schon mindestens 8 Versuche gekostet, bis ich meinen Finger vom Anschubsen schnell genug weg bekommen und das Foto gemacht habe, ohne dass der Geist schon wieder stillgestanden hätte.

 I love the wobbling effect and think it goes perfectly with the cute images. This picture isn't the best but it took me at least 8 tries already, until I managed to get my finger, that set the ghost in wobbling action, away quick enough and took that photo without the ghost having stopped moving already.

So, aber ist in der Box jetzt etwas Süßes oder etwas Saures?

But, is there a trick or a treat inside the boxes?

 

 

Beides! 

Mit zwei kleinen Eyelets habe ich einen breiteren Streifen Acetate an den Vorderseiten der Box befestigt, auf den ich dann ein Boo und ein happy Halloween geklebt habe. Zum Schließen der Box biegt man den Folienstreifen nach hinten. Öffnet man die Box dann, schnalzt die Folie nach oben und der Text steht senkrecht. 

Die Buchstaben habe ich mit dem Henry's ABCs Stanzenset von LawnFawn aus grünem bzw. orangefarbenem Glittercardstock gestanzt. Das Happy Halloween ist wieder aus dem Itty Bitty Boos Set von MFT und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Als Deko habe ich jeweils noch einen kleinen Stern mit aufgeklebt.

 

Both!

I used two small eyelets to attach a strip of acetate to the front of the box, then adhered a boo and a smaller happy Halloween text to it. To close the box, you bend the acetate strip backwards and under the sleeve. When you open the box, the foil snaps up and the text is standing upright.

I die cut the letters for the word boo from green and orange glitter cardstock, using the Henry's ABCs set by LawnFawn. The happy Halloween is again from the Itty Bitty Boos stamp set by MFT and white heat embossed onto black cardstock. As decoration I added one little star confetti to each of the acetate strips.

 

 Durch die Löcher in den Eyelets habe ich dann lila-weißes bzw. orange-weißes Twine gezogen, einen Kürbis-Charm angebunden und die Schnüre dann so lang abgeschnitten, dass sie vorne noch ein Stück an der Box herabhängen. So wollte ich sicherstellen, dass die Box auch in die richtige Richtung geöffnet wird - die Fäden laden dazu ja absolut ein - und der in der Box versteckte Streich auch funktioniert. ;)

I put a piece of orange and white/purple and white twine through the holes in the eyelets, tied a pumpkin charm to each box and then cut the ends long enough to make them hang down the box quite  a bit. I wanted to make sure, that the drawer gets opened in the right direction - those pieces of twine just invide you to pull them - so the trick hidden inside the box works. ;)

Ihr habt es anläßlich des Titels wahrscheinlich schon befürchtet - heute habe ich wieder eine Halloween-Karte zu zeigen. Aber ich verspreche, es ist die letzte für dieses Jahr. Dafür ist sie nochmal so richtig gruselig!

Hello everyone!

The title of this post is "I have one more" and most likely you already feared it after reading this title - I have another Halloween card to share with you today. I promise, it's the last one for this year. And I totally lived out my spooky side on this one!

Auch hier kam wieder Hotfoiling ins Spiel - diesmal ein dünnes Spinnennetz, das ich mit silberner Folie auf Hammermill Cardstock foliert habe. Dann habe ich ihn, von der Mitte ausgehend, mit Distress Ink Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness und Black Soot gewischt. Anschließend habe ich die Halloween Script Stencil von Tim Holtz  - die habe ich seit Jahren, habe aber nie drangedacht, sie zu verwenden bevor Halloween vorbei war - aufgelegt und jeweils mit der dunkleren Farbe, als ich an der entsprechenden Stelle im Hintergrund verwendet habe, den Text aufgewischt. Die Stencil ist zu schmal für eine normal breite Karte, also habe ich sie links einfach nochmal neu angesetzt. Dann habe ich einige Wassertropfen sowie weiße Acrlyfarbe aufgespritzt.

Again I did some hotfoiling here - this time I did a spiderweb with silver foil onto a piece of Hammermill cardstock. Then I used Distress Ink Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness and Black Soot to ink the cardstock, starting yellow in the center and ending black at the edges. 

Next I put the Halloween Script stencil by Tim Holtz - I had that for years but never thought of using it until Halloween was over! - onto the cardstock and inked through it, using the next darker color than I used in that specific area of the background. The stencil isn't wide enough for a regular sized card, so I simply started it again on the left side of the cardstock. I then flicked some water and also some white acrylic paint onto it.

Bei einem Spinnennetz darf natürlich eine Spinne nicht fehlen. Hier ein besonders dickes und großes Exemplar aus dem Spiders and Webs set von WhimsyStamps. Ich habe sie aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, mit Copics coloriert, dann nur auf den Körper etwas dunkeltürkisfarbenes Gilding Wax aufgetupf und zum Schluss alles mit klarem Embossingpulver überzogen. Als Augen habe ich zwei irisierende schwarze Glitzersteine aufgeklebt und außerdem mit einem goldenen Gelstift ein Kreuz auf den Rücken der Spinne gemalt.

Nun, es soll ja Leute geben, die sich solche Spinnen als Haustiere halten - der Halter dieser Spinne ist aber definitiv kein normaler Mensch. Das kann man eindeutig an der Hautfarbe der Hand erkennen, mit der die Spinne gerade gefütter wird. Ich habe hier eine der Crafty Hands von MFT aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und wieder mit Copics coloriert. Außerdem habe ich recht lange und ziemlich dreckige Fingernägel angeklebt. Die sind mit einer Stanze aus dem A Little Spooky Set von HoneybeeStamps gemacht, ich musste nur die "unschöne" Rückseite nach oben legen, damit sie in die richtige Richtung gebogen sind. Dann habe ich noch eine dicke Raupe zwischen die Finger gesteckt....

When there is a spider web of course there has to be spider, too. This one is an extra thick and big one from the Spiders and Webs set by WhimsyStamps. I die cut her from white cardstock, colored her with Copics, then dabbed some dark turquoise Gilding Wax only onto the body and then also covered everything with a layer of clear embossing powder. I glued two small black-iridescent rhinestones down as the eyes and also drew a cross onto the back of the body using a gold gel pen.

Well, there are people that keep spiders like that as their pets - but the owner of this spider definately isn't a normal human. You can tell that from the skin color of the hand that's just about to feed the spider. I die cut one of the Crafty Hands by MFT from white cardstock and again colored it with my Copics. I also added some long and quite dirty fingernails to it. I die cut those with one of the dies of the A little Spooky die set by HoneybeeStamps and just had to use the "ugly" back up to make them curve the right direction. Then I put a fat caterpillar between the fingers....

Über die linke obere und rechte untere Ecke habe ich jeweils etwas ausgefranstes Cheesecloth gesetzt, das ich zuvor mit einem der Distress Mica Sprays, gemischt mit etwas Wasser, eingefärbt habe. 

Auf der Karte habe ich dann einige Insekten sowie ein paar Knochen verteilt. Die Insekten sind alle mit einer Stanze von MarianneDesign aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und entweder mit gold-grünem oder dunkel türkisfarbenem Gilding Wax betupft. 

Die Knochen sind mit einer weiteren Stanze aus dem oben erwähnten Set von HoneybeeStamps und einer Stanze von Memorybox aus weißem Cardstock gemacht. Damit sie nicht mehr so neu aussehen, habe ich sie mit Distress Ink Old Paper und Pumice Stone ein wenig betupft. 

Over the top left and bottom right corner I wrapped some frilly cheesecloth, that I had dyed with one of the Distress Mica Sprays, mixed with a bit of water. 

I added some insects and bones to the card. The insects were all cut from black cardstock using a die by MarianneDesign, then I either dabbed some green-gold or dark turquoise Gilding Wax onto them.

The bones I made with another die from the already mentioned set by HoneybeeStamps and a die by Memorybox, cutting them from white cardstock. To make them look a bit weathered I dabbed some Distress Ink Old Paper and Pumice Stone onto them.

Bei dem Text war ich mir erst nicht ganz sicher, was ich verwenden wollte - und dann bin ich über das "no tricks, just treats" aus dem Happy Howloween Stempelset von LawnFawn gestolpert. Das fand ich genial, schließlich bekommt die Spinne ja gerade ein Leckerli.... ;) 

Ich habe den Text weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst, in zwei Teile geschnitten und jeweils einen Teil auf die mit Cheesecloth überzogenen Ecken geklebt.

I really wasn't sure which text I wanted to use on my card - and then came across the "no tricks, just treats" from the Happy Howloween set by LawnFawn. I though this hilarious, as the spider is just getting a nice treat... ;)

I white heat embossed the text onto black cardstock, cut it into two parts and put one half onto each of the corners I had covered with the cheesecloth.

Ich liebe den Glanz des Gilding Waxes auf den Insekten sowie des Spinnennetzes. Auf weitere Deko habe ich hier bewusst verzichtet. 

Zum Aufkleben der Spinne, der Hand und der Texte habe ich 3D Tape benutzt. Dann habe ich den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I love the shine of the Gilding Wax on the insects and the spider web. And I decided, that this card doesn't need any further decoration.

To adhere the spider, the hand and the texts I used foam tape. Then I matted the cardstock black and attached it to a white note card.

Ihr werdet es nicht glaube, ich habe schon wieder eine Halloween-Karte zu zeigen. Ich hatte Euch ja gewarnt...

 

Hello everyone!

You might not believe it, I have another Halloween card to share. Well, I did warn you, right?

 

Heute dreht sich alles um Süßes. 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks von der Mitte her mit Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade, Crackling Campfire und Black Soot gewischt und dann mit Versafine Clair Nocturne den WTF? Background von WhimsyStamps daraufgestempelt. Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.  

Today it's albout the sweet treats.

For the background I inked a piece of white cardstock, starting lightest in the center, with Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade, Crackling Campfire and Black Soot and then stamped the WTF? Background by WhimsyStamps onto it using Versasfine Clair Nocturne ink. Then I covered the cardstock with spatters from white acrylic paint.

Hauptelement der Karte ist ein leckerer Cupcake, in dem, wie auch immer, offenbar eine Hexe kopfüber gelandet ist. 

Für den Cupcake habe ich die Cupcake Stanze von StudioLight benutzt. Die Papierhülle ist aus schwarzem Glossy Cardstock gestanzt, der Cupcake aus gelbem und die Sahnehaube aus rotem Cardstock. Die habe ich außerdem auch aus schwarzem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt und mit der Schere etwas wellenförmig zugeschnitten, so dass es wie herablaufende Sauce aussieht.

Dekoriert ist der Cupcake mit gestempelten Augen von ClearlyBesotted, einem CandyCorn, zwei Knochen von CC Designs, Streuseln aus dem Christmas Garnish Set von MFT und natürlich den Beinen der Hexe. Die sind mit dem Everything but the Broom Stanzenset gemacht - die Strumpfhose aus orangefarbenem Cardstock und schwarzem Glitter Cardstock, die Schuhe wieder aus schwarzem Glossy Cardstock, versehen mit Schnallen aus goldenem Glittercardstock. 

Main element on my card is a yummy cupcake, in which a witch seems to have landed head first. 

For the cupcake I used the Cupcake die by StudioLight. The wrapper is cut from black glossy cardstock, the cupcake from yellow cardstock and the frosting from red cardstock. I also cut that once from black glitter cardstock and used my scissors to cut parts of it with a wonky edge, to make it look like sauce dripping down.

I decorated the cupcake with stamped eyeballs by ClearlyBesotted, a candy corn, two bones by CC Designs, sprinkles from the Christmas Garnish die set by MFT and and of course the witch's legs. Those are made using the Everything but the Broom die set by MFT. I cut the tights from orange cardstock and black glitter cardstock, the shoes again from black glossy cardstock and the buckles from gold glitter cardstock. 

 

 Unten neben dem Cupcake liegen außerdem noch einige Bonbons aus dem Halloween Wonder Stanzenset von Spellbinders. Das Bonbon mit dem gedrehten Muster habe ich außerdem mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

 

Around the cupcake there's some candy laying around, die cut with the Halloween Wonder die set by Spellbinders. The candy with the swirly pattern I also covered with some Glossy Accents.

 

Da ich nichts von dem Cupcake überdecken wollte, war auf der Karte nicht allzu viel Platz für den Text. Also habe ich mit der Sweet Stanze von MFT das Wort sweet einige Male aus schwarzem und einmal aus gelbem Cardstock gestanzt. Auf meinem Tisch lag noch ein Blending Brush mit roter Tinte. Ich habe die sich noch im/auf dem Pinsel befindliche Farbe benutzt um das gelbe Wort etwas zu schattieren, dann habe ich auf die obere Hälfte goldene Stickles aufgetragen.

Die Textteile "have a" und "Halloween" sind aus den Stempelsets Itty Bitty Boos und Itty Bitty Holiday von MFT. Ich habe sie weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und dann mit 3D Tape hinterlegt.

There wasn't too much room for a text since I didn't want to cover any of the cupcake. So I die cut the word sweet, using the Sweet die set by MFT, several times from black and once from yellow cardstock. I had a brush with some red Distress Oxide laying on my table, so I used whatever was left on the brush to shade the yellow die cut a bit, then covered the top half with gold Stickles. 

The words "have a" and "Halloween" are from the Itty Bitty Boos and Itty Bitty Holiday stamp set by MFT. I white heat embossed those onto black cardstock and backed them with foam tape. 

Da der Cupcake durch die vielen Lagen bereits ziemlich viel Dimension hatte, habe ich ihn direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Die gestanzten sweet habe ich aufeinander geklebt und dabei die gelbe Lage ein wenig verschoben, dann habe ich sie und die embossten Texte oben links neben den Beinen der Hexe aufgeklebt. 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Since the cupcake had already quite a bit of dimension due to all the layers I used, I decided to adhere it directly to the background. I stacked the words sweet, moving the yellow one a bit up and to the right, then attached those and the embossed texts next to the witch's leg.

To finish the card I matted the cardstock black and adhered everything onto a white note card.

Stampcorner November-Release Sneak #2

Mit dem heutigen Sneak auf das November-Release von Stampcorner wird es weihnachtlich. Ich zeige Euch hier eine neue Stencil, zu der ich sofort eine Idee hatte.

With today's sneak of the november release by Stampcorner it's getting christmassy. I am showing you a new stencil, that immediadely gave me an idea.

 

Auch wenn ich immer betone, dass ich rot und grün als Kombi überhaupt nicht mag, hier habe ich sie verwendet, denn es passte einfach perfekt. 

Im Hintergrund habe ich den Christmas Background von MFT mit Memento Bamboo Leaves Ink auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und dann die Ränder mit Distress Ink Bundled Sage ein wenig gewischt. Anschließend  habe ich silberne Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

 

I always say, how I don't like the color combo of red and green, and still I used it here because it was just perfect.

For the background I stamped the Christmas Background by MFT with Memento Bamboo Leaves onto a piece of white cardstock, inked the edges with some Distress Ink Bundled Sage and then added some spatters with a silver metallic watercolor. 

 

 

Für die Deko kam dann der neue Stencil zum Einsatz. Eigentlich ist er viel größer und man kann damit prima einen kompletten Hintergrund für eine Karte gestalten. Aber ich musste sofort an Pfefferminz-Bonbons denken. Also habe ich drei Kreise von etwa 8 cm Durchmesser aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und darauf nur die Mitte des Stencils aufgewischt. Zuerst habe ich Distress Oxide Festive Berries aufgewischt, anschließend an den Rändern noch etwas Lumberjack Plaid. Ich habe den Stencil sauber gewischt und gedreht aufgelegt, so dass die zuvor rot gewischten Bereiche nun vom Stencil abgedeckt waren. Dann habe ich erst am Rand ein wenig Distress Oxide Hickory Smoke aufgewischt und anschließend die Fairy Dust Paste von LawnFawn auf die weißen Bereiche aufgetragen. So sehen die Bonbons noch leckerer aus, finde ich. 

Eigentlich hatte ich ja vor, die Pfefferminz-Bonbons einfach so auf die Karte zu kleben. Aber auf meinem Tisch lag eine leere Stanzenverpackung - und sofort kam mir die Idee, meine Bonbons darin zu verpacken. Also habe ich jeden der Kreise erst so zugeschnitten, wie ich ihn später auf dem Hintergrund aufkleben wollte, und ihn dann in die Folie der Stanzenverpackung gewickelt. Dabei habe ich natürlich auch an die "Schnürpfel" gedacht. Ich habe sie mit weißem Twine zusammen- und daraus eine kleine Schleife gebunden. An den abgeschnittenen Kanten habe ich die Folie nach hinten umgeschlagen und mit etwas Tesa fixiert.

I used the new stencil for my decorations. It's actually a lot bigger and can easily be used to cover the width of a hole card, but when I saw it I immediately had to think of peppermint candies. So I die cut circles of about 8 cm from white cardstock and stenciled just the center of the pattern onto those. First I used Distress Oxide Festive Berries, then darkened the outer areas with some Lumberjack Plaid. I cleaned the stencil and put it back on, now covering the previously inked red areas with it. Then I inked the edge with a bit of Hickory Smoke and applied Fairy Dust Paste by LawnFawn through the stencil onto the white strips of the candies. This makes them look even more yummy, I think. 

Originally I had planned to adhere my peppermint candies just like that. But there was this empty acetate bag, that stamps and dies come in, laying on my table and had the idea of wrapping the candies into it. I first cut every candy circle the way I wanted to adhere to my background later, then wrapped each into acetate. Of course I thought of the twisted ends, using some white twine to create them and tieing the twine into little bows. Along the straight edges of my candies I simply wrapped the plastic around the edge and used a piece of tape to fix them on the back.

 

Bei den Motiven war natürlich klar, dass der Text irgendetwas mit süß zu tun haben musste. Also habe ich die Worte sweet und whishes aus den Stempelsets Itty Bitty Baby und Itty Bitty Holiday weiß auf schwarzen Cardsdtock embosst. Dazwischen habe ich ein christmas, gestanzt mit der Merry Christmas Stanze von MFT gesetzt. Ich habe das Wort 8mal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt - die Bonbons sind doch recht hoch und das musste ich hier ausgleichen - und einmal aus rotem Cardstock. Ich habe alle Teile aufeinandergeklebt und von den weißen Lagen die Bereiche, bei denen das Wort auf einem Bonbon aufliegt, weggeschnitten. Dann habe ich den Text ein wenig mit Stickles beglittert, damit er zu den Bonbons passt. Und weil mir der I-Punkt irgendwie verloren gegangen war, habe ich stattdessen ein rosafarbenes Herz verwendet. 

Well, with this "images" it was clear that I wanted the word sweet in my text. So I white heat embossed the words sweet and wishes from the Itty Bitty Baby and the Itty Bitty Holiday stamp set by MFT onto black cardstock. Between them I put the word christmas, die cut with the Merry Christmas die by MFT. I die cut the word 8 times from white cardstock - the peppermint candies are quite high and I needed to level that out - and once from red cardstock. I cut off the areas of the white layers, that lay on top of a candy, then I added some Stickles to the red layer to make it match the candies. And since I somehow missplaced the tittle of the i, I replaced it with a light pink heart.

Da die zusammengebundenen Enden der Bonbons doch etwas dicker geworden sind, habe ich hinter die Bonbons 3D Tape gesetzt, sie auf den Hintergrund geklebt und dann den Text darauf befestigt. Dabei habe ich auch das Wort Wishes mit 3D Tape hinterlegt, damit es nicht zwischen den Bonbons verschwindet. Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Since the twisted ends of the candies are pretty thick I put some foam tape behind the candies, attached them to the background and then adhered the text. I put some foam tape behind the word wishes, too, to make sure it doesn't hide behind the candies. To finish the card, I adhered it the cardstock to a white note card.

Auch eine Freundin und Kollegin hat den Meilenstein 50. Geburtstag erreicht. Dass auch sie eine Explosionbox bekommt, war hier Ehrensache!

Hello everyone!

Also a friend and colleague reached the milestone birthday of 50. And it was a question of honor, that she gets an explosion box as well! 

Die Box an sich habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gewerkelt und mit hellblau, rot und silber kombiniert.

I made the box from white cardstock and combined light blue, red and silver with it.

Die Seiten der Box habe ich erst mit rotem Cardstock bezogen. Darauf kam ein kleineres Stück des hellblauen Cardstocks. Das habe ich erst mit einem Nummern-Folder geprägt und dann leicht mit Distress Ink Salvaged Patina von außen her gewischt. 

Auf den hellblauen Cardstock habe ich dann mit dünnem 3D Tape einen Ring aus rotem Cardstock geklebt, den ich mit Vellum hinterlegt habe. Darauf kam ein Party!-Text. Den habe ich jeweils dreimal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und für die oberste Lage noch einmal aus silber-holografischem Cardstock. Als Deko habe ich hier jeweils einen kleinen silbernen Stern sowie einen größeren Stern, gestanzt aus dem holografischen Cardstock, aufgeklebt.

I first adhered a piece of red cardstock onto each side, then I put a smaller piece of light blue cardstock on top. Before I had dry embossed some numbers onto it and then lightly inked it with Distress Ink Salvaged Patina.

Onto the light blue cardstock I attached a ring cut from red cardstock, that I put some vellum behind, using thin foam tape. Onto the ring I glued a Party! text. I die cut each three times from white cardstock, then used one cut from silver holographic cardstock as my top layer. I also added a small silver star confetti and a larger star, cut from the holographic cardstock, as decoration.

Auf dem Deckel der Box tront, wieder auf rotem und hellblauem Cardstock, eine Geburtstagstorte samt Deko.

Die Torte habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gemacht und dafür die Runde Box Stanze von Farbton benutzt. Nun war es so, dass ich genau eine Größe zwischen den beiden im Set enthaltenen gebraucht habe. Aber die Streifen für die Seitenteile kann man ja problemlos kürzen. Ich habe hier den kleineren Kreis für das Unter- und den größeren für das Oberteil benutzt. So sieht man keinen Rand und erkennt nicht, dass es sich hier eigentlich um eine Box handelt. Die beiden Teile habe ich verklebt, es ist also auch gar keine Box mehr. 

Für den Tortenlook habe ich einen dünnen Streifen roten Cardstocks um die Torte geklebt, darüber kam ein Streifen Cardstocks, den ich mit der Drippy Goo Stanze gestanzt habe, so dass es aussieht, als würde hier rote Sauce oder ähnliches herunterlaufen. Damit die Kante zum Kreis nicht so hart aussieht, habe ich hier mein Embossingkissen aufgedrückt und dann hier und auf dem drippy Cardstock rotes Glitzer-Embossingpulver von WOW aufembosst.

Oben auf der Torte befinden sich Sahnetupfen, gemacht mit einem Plusterpen, auf die ich Früchte alias rote Glitzer-Kügelchen geklebt habe.

Natürlich dürfen auf einer Geburtstagstorte Kerzen nicht fehlen! Die hier sind mit der Wish Big Stanze von MFT gemacht. Ich habe mehrere weiße aufeinander und dann jeweils eine, gestanzt aus blau-weiß gestreiftem Cardstock, obenauf geklebt. Die Flammen, die ich wieder aus dem silbernen Holographic Cardstock gestanzt habe, habe ich zwischen die Lagen gefasst. Dann habe ich die Kerzen etwas gekürzt und oben auf die Torte geklebt. Daneben befindet sich eine ausgestanzte 50, ebenfalls aus dem silbernen Cardstock gestanzt. 

Unter die Torte habe ich noch ein kleines Doily gesetzt. 

I put a birthday cake and party decorations on the lid of the box, that I again covered with red and light blue cardstock.

I made the cake from white cardstock and wrapped a thin strip of red cardstock around it as the cake filling. Along the top edge I wrapped another strip of red cardstock, that I had punched with the Drippy Goo punch to make it look like some frosting is dripping down from it. The edge looked pretty hard here, so I dabbed my embossing ink pad along the edge, a bit onto the lid and also onto the dripping strip and then heat embossed it with red glitter embossing powder.

On the cake there are some cream puffs made with a puffy pen, and I glued a small red glitter pearl as fruit onto each of them.

Of course a birthday cake needs candles! I die cut these with the Wish Big die by MFT, putting several white ones on top of each other and using a blue and white striped one as the top layer. The flames, cut from the silver holographic cardstock, I glued between the layers, then made the candles a bit shorter and glued them on top of the cake. Next to them there's a 50 that I die cut from the silver holographic cardstock again.

And I put a white doily under the cake.

Hinter der Torte habe ich zwei Stangen aus Papierstrohhalmen aufgestellt. Zwischen ihnen ist ein gestanztes happy aus silbernem Cardstock gespannt. Die Buchstaben sind mit einer Stanze von Action gestanzt, mit Brads verbunden und dann mit rot-weißem Twine an den Stangen befestigt. Oben auf die Stangen habe ich wieder rote Glitzer-Kugeln geklebt, damit man nicht in die Strohhalme hineinschauen kann. Als Deko habe ich einige Sterne in verschiedenen Größen, wieder aus dem Holographic Cardstock gestanzt, angebracht.

Und vorne rechts habe ich noch eine Schleife aus weißem Organza neben die Torte geklebt, die Enden hängen an der Box herab, auf dem Knoten befindet sich ein weiterer Stern.

 

Behind the cake I placed two paper straws as poles and hung up a die cut happy, cut from silver cardstock. The letters have little tabs with holes, I connected them with small brads and then tied them with some red and white twine to the poles. To cover the holes in the paper straws I glued a red glittery ball onto each of the poles. As decoration I added a few stars in different sizes, again cut from the holographic cardstock.

And to the front right of the cake I glued a bow, made from white organdy. The ends are hanging down from the lid, onto the knot I attached another small star.

So sieht die geöffnete Box aus. Zu einem runden Geburtstags gibt es natürlich besondere Geschenke, hier einen gemeinsamen Trip nach Hamburg. Und klar, dass da die Deko innen in der Box maritim ausgefallen ist.

 

This is the opened box. Of course there are special gifts for special birthdays - here we are going on a girls trip to Hamburg. And so it was only logical that I decorated my box maritim.

Die inneren Seiten habe ich jeweils mit hellblauem Cardstock beklebt, auf das ich die Skyline von Hamburg schwarz aufembosst habe. Den passenden Stempel von KartenKunst hat sich zum Glück eine Freundin und ebenfalls mit in dieser Mädels-Gruppe, auf dem Mekka gekauft und ich durfte ihn für die Box einweihen. 

Über die Skyline habe ich einige Wolken geklebt und kleine Möwen dazwischen gestempelt. Und unten habe ich als Abschluss Wellen aufgeklebt.

Den Boden der Box habe ich mit hellblauem Schimmer-Cardstock beklebt, so dass das Wasser anders aussieht als der Himmel.

 

I covered the inner sides of the box with light blue cardstock, onto that I black heat embossed the skyline of Hamburg. Luckily the friend I went to Stempelmekka with - and who is also a member of this girls' group making the gift, bought a stamp of the skyline there, and she gave it to me to use on this box.

Above the skyline I added a few white clouds and stamped some flying seagulls between them. To the bottom I glued some waves.

The bottom of the box I covered with some light blue shimmer cardstock to make the water different from the sky.

Im Wasser dümpelt ein Ausflugsdampfer, den ich aus weißem Cardstock gebastelt habe. Er ist passend zum Geburtstagsthema mit einer Girlande mit roten Fahnen geschmückt. Am Bug baumelt ein Anker an einer Kette und von hier geht auch ein Seil, mit dem das Schiff angebunden ist, zum Poller im Wasser. Die Fenster sind mit hellblauem Cardstock hinterlegt.

Auch hier habe ich wieder Wellen an die untere Kante des Schiffs geklebt.

 

In the water there's a boat floating. I made that from white cardstock and decorated it with a red garland for a birthday touch. There's an anchor dangling from the ship and there's also a rope that was used to tie the ship to a pollard in the water. Behind the windows I put some light blue cardstock.

Again I attached some waves to the bottom of the ship.

Ein Steg führt auf das Schiff. Den Steg habe ich aus Cardstock sowie weiteren Papierstrohhalmen gemacht. Oben befindet sich ein Banner mit dem Aufdruck "große Hafenrundfahrt". Das habe ich am PC geschrieben und mit Distress Ink Lumberjack Plaid rot eingefärbt. Da ich den Steg ganz an die Rückwand setzen wollte, habe ich hier statt des Strohhalms einen Streifen Cardstock als Befestigung für das Banner benutzt. 

In der Szene befinden fünf kleine Möwen von Create a Smile. Zuerst hatte ich nur zwei aufgeklebt, aber irgendwie fehlte was. Und da dachte ich mir, da wir 5 Mädels sind, dürfen auch 5 Möwen in die Box. Und hierbei ist ganz klar, dass das Geburtstagskind die Möwe auf dem Steg ist. Dazu muss man wissen, dass sie sich strikt weigert, ein Schiff zu betreten. Daher auch die Idee zur Deko in der Box. Und diese kleine Möwe sieht so aus, als würde sie trotzig auf dem Steg sitzen und "nein, ich geh da nicht drauf" rufen. Die Möwen sind mit Copics coloriert, genauso wie der kleine Rettungsring, ebenfalls von Create a Smile, am Steg.

 

A landing stage is leading onto the ship.  I created that from cardstock and more paper straws. Across the top I hung up a banner announcing that this is the starting point for a harbour cruise. I created that on my pc, printed it and inked it with Distress Ink Lumberjack Plaid. Since I wanted to place the right side of the landing stage right at the back of the box, I used a strip of cardstock instead of a paper straw here to attach the banner to.

I added five little seagulls by Create a Smile to the scene. First I had used only two, but the scene was missing something. So I thought, since we are 5 girls, it would only be appropriate to add five seagulls. And it's very clear which of them is the birthday girl. It's the one sitting on the landing stage. Well, you have to know that she refuses to enter any ship. That's also, why I had to decorate the box like this. And this little seagull just looks like she's sitting there, just screaming "no, I am not going on that boat", just like a little three year old throwing a fit. I used Copics to color the birds and the little lifesaver, that I attached to the paper straw.

Auf einer der aufklappenden Seiten habe ich dann die Details zum Geschenk angebracht. Das Stadtschild und das Datum ist wieder am PC geschrieben und leicht bzw. komplett mit Lumberjack Plaid eingefärbt. Unter dem Wort Hamburg habe ich ein rotes Herz angebracht.

Quer über den hellblauen Cardstock habe ich wieder einen Teil der Skyline abgestempelt und dabei links und rechts einen Streifen wegmaskiert.

Die Buchstaben für das Wort Mädels-Trip habe ich aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und aufgeklebt. Der Bindestrich mag hier etwas komisch aussehen, ich hatte das Wort erst am PC geschrieben und irgendwie musste ich immer Mädel-Strip lesen. Das habe ich einfach nicht mehr aus meinem Kopf bekommen, und wer weiß, wer das dann genauso liest. Also habe ich den Bindestrich eingebaut, denn dass eine von uns stript ist nicht eingeplant.... ;)

Dekoriert habe ich hier wieder mit ein paar silbernen Sternchen.

 

I added the details to our trip on one of the opening sides. Again I used my pc to print the Hamburg sign and the date, then inked the white paper again with Lumberjack Plaid, only adding a bit around the edge of the sign. I also adhered a little red heart under the word Hamburg.

Across the light blue cardstock I stamped part of the skyline again, masking off a thin strip on each side of the cardstock.

The letters for the word "girls' trip" I die cut from red cardstock and glued them down.

As decoration I added a few silver star confetti.

In die andere aufklappende Seite habe ich eine Tasche eingearbeitet, in der eine kleine Karte für unsere Unterschriften etc. steckt. 

Mit Stempeln aus den Sets Kleine Worte und Kleine Worte 2 von Stampcorner habe ich einen Glückwunschtext gestempelt und auf die Tasche geklebt. Dann habe ich auch hier ein paar kleine silberne Sternchen aufgeklebt. Mit denen ist auch die kleine Karte aus rotem und weißem Cardstock dekoriert.

Ganz zum Schluss fiel mir dann noch die Münzen-Stanze von Create a Smile in die Hand, mit der Mann auch "Orden" gestalten kann. Ich habe ihn aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt, den äußeren Ring und die herabhängenden Schleifenteile wieder mit dem roten Glitzer-Embossingpuler überzogen und zum Schluss in die Mitte noch eine 50 aus dem silbernen Holographic Cardstock aufgeklebt.

 

On the other opening side I included a little pocket, that I put a small card, made from red and white cardstock, for us to sign into.

Onto the pocket I attached a birthday greeting, then added a few more silver star confetti. I also used some of them to decorate the little card. 

And as the last step I came across the coin die set by Create a Smile, that can also be used to create little rosettes. I die cut it from red cardstock, then covered the outer  ring and the ends with the red glitter embossing powder. Then I glued a 50, die cut from the silver holographic cardstock, onto the center of the rosette.

Also gefühlt bin ich ja gerade erst im Juli angekommen, aber ein Blick in den Kalender zeigt mir, dass Weihnachten nicht mehr weit entfernt ist. Um mich langsam an das Thema heranzutasten, zeige ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog diese Shaker Card, die zumindest schon einen etwas weihnachtlichen Touch hat.

I feel like july just began, but when I look in my calendar I have to face the fact that christmas isn't that far away anymore. To take a little step into that direction I am sharing this shaker card over on the Stampcorner Blog. It at least has a little touch of christmas to it.

Den Hintergrund - wenn man das hier so nennen kann -  habe ich mit der neuen Star Double Stitch Stanze aus cremefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt. Von außen her habe ich ihn dann mit Distress Oxide Antique Linen, Scattered Straw und Brushed Corduroy gewischt. 

Nach dem Trocknen habe ich die Speed Lines mit dem gold-glitzernden Embossingpulver von WOW aufembosst. Nun sieht es so aus, als würde der Stern strahlen. 

The background - if you can call it that in this case - is made using the new Star Window die, cut from cream colored cardstock. I used Distress Oxide Antique Linen, Scattered Straw and Brushed Corduroy to darken it from the outside in.

After the ink had dried, I heat embossed the Speed Lines with the gold-glittery embossingpowder by WOW onto the cardstock. Now it looks like rays radiating from the star.

Hinter den Sternausschnitt habe ich ein Stück Folie geklebt und ihn dann in einen Shaker verwandelt. Der ist mit goldenem Glitter  - fein und etwas gröber - gefüllt.

Oben an den Stern habe ich etwas weißes Band und eine weiße Schleife geklebt, so dass es so aussieht, als wäre der glitzernde Stern aufgehängt. 

Behind the star window I put a piece of acetate and then turned it into a shaker. I filled it with fine and a bit "grainier" gold glitter.

To the top of the star I attached a piece of white ribbon and a bow, so now it looks like the star is hanging from the top of the card.

Hinter den Sternausschnitt habe ich den ausgestanzten Stern geklebt. Da man ihn nur sieht, wenn alles Shakermaterial nach unten geschüttelt ist, habe ich ihn nur ein wenig dekoriert. Dafür habe ich mit einem glitzernden Sakura-Stift einen Rahmen etwa 0,5 cm vom Außenrand entfernt aufgemalt.

Unten an den Stern habe ich das Wort Sternenglanz aufgeklebt. Das ist mit der ebenfalls neuen Sternenglanz-Stanze aus weißem Cardstock gemacht. Ich habe vier Stanzteile aufeinander geklebt und sie unten an die Spitzen des Sterns gesetzt. 

Behind the star window I put the cut out star. Since you can only see it when all the shaker material is shaken down, I only decorated it a little. With a glittery Sakura-Pen I drew a frame about 0,5 cm away from the edge.

To the bottom of the star I adhered a die cut word, that means "star shine". I die cut it four times from white cardstock, stacked them and then adhered them at the bottom of the star.

Hier könnt Ihr den Glitter auf der Karte viel besser sehen.

Als Deko habe ich ein paar goldene Pailetten aufgeklebt und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

Stampcorner November-Release Sneak #1

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Könnt Ihr es auch kaum glauben - der November ist nur noch wenige Tage entfernt. Und neben der Tatsache, dass der Sommer/warme Herbst nun wirklich vorüber ist, bedeutet das auch, dass wieder Sneak Zeit ist. Auf meiner heutigen Karte zeige ich Euch eine der Neuheiten aus dem November-Release von Stampcorner.

Can you believe, that november is only a few days away? And besides the fact that this means summer and warm fall are really over, it also means, that it's sneak time again. On today's card I am sharing one of the products from Stampcorner's november release.

Na, habt Ihr die Neuheit schon erspäht? Auf jeden Fall wird es winterlich. 

Hier habe ich ein Stück eines Bogens aus dem 12" Paper Pack #1 - dunkelblau mit weißen Schneeflocken - etwas kleiner als meinen Kartenrohling zugeschnitten. Der bildet den Hintergrund für meine recht schlichte Karte.

Have you spotted the new product already? It's getting wintery.

Here I cut a piece from one of the sheets of the 12" Paper Pack #1 - dark blue with white snowflakes - a bit smaller than my card base. This is the background for my a bit more simple card.

Auf  den Hintergrund habe ich einen Rahmen aus weißem Cardstock, gestanzt mit einer der Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frame Stanzen von MFT, aufgeklebt, hinter dem sich meine Winterszene versteckt. Für die Szene habe ich erst eine Lage Vellum, auf die ich mit einem Schneeflocken-Embossingfolder kleine Schneeflocken geprägt habe, hinter den Rahmen geklebt. 

An der oberen Kante entlang habe ich dann einige Eiszapfen, ebenfalls aus Vellum gestanzt, aufgehangen. Unten befindet sich eine Schneelandschaft, die ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt habe. Auf ihr befinden sich ein paar Tannenbäume sowie ein Schneemann. Ich habe bewusst auf jegliche schattierung oder andersfarbigen Cardstock verzichtet, so hat die Karte einen tollen frostigen Look.

Da mir das ganze so komplett ohne Deko doch etwas zu fad war, habe ich noch die Weihnachtsstern-Blüte aus dem Magic Iris Holly Wreath Add-On von LawnFawn sowie zwei Beeren aus dem selben Set oben links auf den Rahmen geklebt. Auch hier habe ich alle Teile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Die Blütenblätter habe ich ganz dezent mit Distress Ink Blueprint Sketch gewischt, auf die Blütenmitte und die Beeren habe ich klaren Distress Rock Candy Glitter von Ranger aufgebracht.

Und unten am Rahmen seht Ihr dann auch endlich die neue Stanze. Es ist ein Winterzauber-Text.

Onto the background I attached a frame, cut from white cardstock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames by MFT. Behind the frame I put a layer of vellum, that I dry embossed some snowflakes onto/into. 

Along the top edge of the frame I hung a few icicles, also die cut from vellum. And behind the bottom of the frame I added a snowy hill, also cut from white cardstock. I put a few pine treees and a snowman onto the hill. And I wanted a really frosty look for this card, so I used no shading or other colored cardstock for my scene.

Since the frame looked a bit too plain without any decoration, I die cut the poinsettia and two berry clusters from the Magic Iris Holly Wreath Add-On by LawnFawn - again from white cardstock. I very lightly shaded the poinsettia petals with Distress Ink Blueberry Sketch, the flower center and the berry clusters I covered with some clear Distress Rock Candy Glitter by Ranger. 

And at the bottom of the frame you finally see the new die - it's a word die meaning "winter magic". 

Ich habe das Wort viermal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und die Lagen aufeinander geklebt. Die oberste Lage habe ich dann erst von unten her wieder mit Blueprint Sketch gewischt und dann auch hier eine Schicht des Rock Candy Glitters aufgebracht. Durch ihn kann man immer noch die Farben dahinter klar sehen, aber es sieht aus, als läge eine feine Eisschicht auf dem Wort. 

I die cut the word four times from white cardstock and stacked them. From the bottom up I lightly inked the top layer with some Blueprint Sketch, then covered the word with the Rock Candy Glitter as well. You can still see the colors of the word through the glitter, but it looks like there's a thin layer of ice crystal covering the word.

Den Rahmen mit der Szene habe ich dann mit dünnem 3D Tape auf das Designpapier geklebt und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling angebracht. 

I used thin foam tape to attach the frame with the scene to the patterned paper, then adhered it to a white note card.

Eine Stanze - zwei Karten

Ich liebe es, wenn ich mit nur einem mal stanzen gleich zwei Karten fast schon fertig habe. Und sind diese beiden zwar recht einfachen, aber wie ich finde trotzdem tolle Karten entstanden.

I love it, when I get two cards from just using my die cutting machine once. And so I made those two-for-one card, that are kind of simple, but still beautiful.

Grundlage war die Tulip Grid Cover von MamaElephant. Ja, eigentlich sind es Tulpen, aber ich dachte mir, auf den Kopf gedreht, sind es die perfekten kleinen Gespenster. Also habe ich die Stanze einmal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt.

Base for those cards were the Tulip Grid Cover by MamaElephant. Yes, these are meant to be tulips, but I thought, turning them upside down would make some perfect little ghosts. So I die cut the die once from white cardstock.

Für Karte Nummer 1 habe ich das Negativ verwendet. Ich habe den weißen Cardstock mit Distress Spray Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn und Uncharted Mariner eingesprüht. Nachdem die Farben getrocknet waren, habe ich dann noch außen etwas Black Soot aufgesprüht. Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

For card #1 I used the negative. I sprayed the white cardstock with Distress Ink Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Uncharted Mariner. After the ink had dried, I added a bit of Black Soot just to the outer areas and then flicked some white acrylic paint over the cardstock.

Hinter den Cardstock habe ich dann weißen Cardstock gelegt und in jeden Geist zwei Wackelaugen geklebt. Einer hat orangefarbene Augen bekommen. Dann habe ich mit hellroter Kreide die Backen aufgemalt und Punkte mit einem Gelstift hinzugefügt.

Die Texte sind weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Der obere ist aus dem Fab-BOO-Lous Friends, der untere aus dem Itty Bitty Boos Set, beide von MFT.

I put some white cardstock behind the sprayed one, then glued two googly eyes onto each of the ghosts. One got some orange ones. I used some light red chalk to add the cheeks and drew some white dots with a gel pen onto them.

The texts are heat embossed white onto black cardstock. The upper one is from the Fab-BOO-lous Friends set, the lower one from the Itty Bitty Boos set, both by MFT.

Den weißen Hintergrund habe ich mit dünnem, die Texte mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt, so dass die Karte ein wenig Tiefe erhält.

For some dimension I used thin foam tape to adhere the white background, for the texts I used some thicker foam tape.

Für Karte Nr. 2 habe ich dann die einzelnen Geister bzw. Tulpen benutzt. Und ja, natürlich sind die Karten ähnlich geworden. 

Hier habe ich für den Hintergrund ein Stück weißen Cardstock mit Distress Spray Squeezed Lemonade, Crackling Campfire und Lumberjack Plaid eingefärbt und dann die Ränder leicht mit Distress Ink Black Soot gewischt. Dann habe ich einen Spinnennetz-Stencil aufgelegt und leicht ebenfalls mit Black Soot aufgewischt. Zum Schluss habe ich dann noch schwarze und orange-goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

Für card #2 I used the individual ghosts/tulips. And yes, of course the cards are kind of similar.

Here I sprayed a piece of white cardstock with Distress Spray Squeezed Lemonade, Crackling Campfire and Lumberjack Plaid, then inked the edges with a bit of Distress Ink Black Soot. I put a spiderweb stencil onto the background and lightly added more Black Soot through it. Then I also flicked some black and orange-gold metallic watercolor onto the cardstock.

Die einzelnen Geister habe ich wieder mit Wackelaugen - diesmal einmal in grün - und roten Backen versehen. 

Für den Text habe ich ein gestanztes Boo aufgeklebt. Es besteht aus drei lagen schwarzem Cardstock und oben einer Lage rotem Spiegelcardstock. Gemacht ist es mit der Boo-Stanze von Pretty Pink Posh. Der kleine Text darunter ist wieder aus dem Set Itty Bitty Boos von MFT und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

Again I glued little googly eyes onto the ghosts - this time one got green ones - and added some light red cheeks.

For the text I die cut the word boo - it's made from three layers of black cardstock and a layer cut from red mirror cardstock on top. I used the Boo die by Pretty Pink Posh for it. The smaller text under it is again from the Itty Bitt Boos set by MFT and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

Die kleinen Geister sind jeweils mit dünnem, der Text mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Das gestanzte Wort habe ich oben auf die Gespenster geklebt.

Und weil hier ja der gestitchte Rand fehlt, ich den Cardstock aber nicht kleiner schneiden wollte, habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift einen Rahmen aufgemalt. 

I used thin foam tape to attach the ghosts and ticker one behind the text. The die cut word I glued on top of the ghosts.

And since there is no stitched border/fram on this card and I didn't want to cut the background down, I decided to draw a frame with a white gel pen.
