Ticket-Kino statt Kino-Ticket

Keine Angst, den Posttitel erkläre ich Euch gleich noch. Wobei der Ticket-Teil darin recht leicht zu erklären ist: mein heutiges Projekt für das WhimsyStamps Halloweeners Team kommt nämlich in Ticket-Form daher.

Today's project, that I made for the WhimsyStamps Halloweeners Team, is not a regular shaped card, it has the shape of a ticket.

 

 In einem der September-Releases gab es nämlich eine Terrific Tickets Stanze. Und die stanzt nicht nur ein, sondern gleich drei gleichgroße Tickets. Passend dazu gibt es nicht nur eine Rahmen als Aufleger, sondern auch Coloring Stencil mit Halloween-Motiven. Damit lassen sich drei verschieden Hauptmotive sowie diverse kleinere Muster und Worte für das kleine untere Ticket auf die Tickets wischen.

Ich habe hier das Ticket  aus dem lilafarbenen Amethyst-Cardstock von Cardstock Warehouse gestanzt. Für die Aufleger habe ich dann die Rahmenstanze Terrific Tickets Window benutzt, deren Innenleben sind nämlich perfekt auch als Aufleger geeignet. Ich habe das große Ticket aus Chartreuse, das kleine aus Rust Cardstock gestanzt.

 

In one of the september releases there was the Terrific Ticket die. It die cuts not just one but three tickets of the same size. And there's not only a frame die for it, but also some coloring stencils with Halloween images. It can be used to stencil three different main images and a few smaller patterns and words for the smaller ticket at the bottom.  

I die cut the ticket from the purple Amethyst cardstock by Cardstock Warehouse. On top I put some tickets, that I cut with the Terrific Tickets Window die - the inside pieces of the frame are perfect to be put on top of the main tickets. I cut the larger one from Chartreuse, the small one from Rust.

 

Und dann kamen die Terrific Tickets  Halloween Layering Stencils zum Einsatz. Und ich bin mir hier übrigens rechts sicher, dass es da in Zukunft weitere Stencils zu anderen Themen geben wird... Hier habe ich Distress Inks zum Aufwischen der Motive verwendet: Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge und Ground Espresso für den Kürbis, Forest Moss und Black Soot für die Fledermäuse. Die Ränder des Cardstocks habe ich hier mit ein wenig Peeled Paint abgedunkelt. 

 

 And then I brought in the Terrific Tickets Halloween Layering stencils. By the way, I am very sure that there will be more stencil sets for those tickets to go with other holidays and occasions... Here I used Distress Inks to stencil the images on. I did the pumpkin with Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge and Ground Espresso, the bats with Forest Moss and Black Soot. The edges of the ticket I darkened with a bit of Peeled Paint.

 

Die Ränder des kleineren orangefarbenen Tickets habe ich mit Rusty Hinge gewischt. Dann habe ich erst mit weißem Embossingpulver ein "peek-a" aus dem Stempelset Got Peepers aufembosst und darunter in gestanztes Boo geklebt. Das habe ich mit dem Mix and Mingle Alphabet gemacht und jeweils eine grüne und eine weiße Lage aufeinander geklebt.

Die Ränder beider Tickets habe ich mit weißer Stencil-Paste betupft und außerdem mit einem silbernen Glitter-Gelstift einen feinen Rahmen aufgemalt.

Die kleinen Tickets habe ich mit 3D Tape auf das große lilafarbene Ticket geklebt. Den Kürbis habe ich dabei noch mit einer kleinen schwarzen Schleife verziert. Für den Kürbis gibt es übrigens noch eine dritte Lage, mit der ein Kürbisgesicht gestencilt werden kann, die habe ich hier aber nicht benutzt. 

 

The edges of the small orange ticket I darkened with Rusty Hinge. Then I white heat embossed the "peek-a" from the Got Peepers stamp set onto the ticket and glued a die cut "boo" under it. I used the Mix and Mingle Alphabet die set to cut each letter from white and green cardstock and stacked them a bit offset. 

I dabbed white stencil paste onto the edges of both tickets and also drew a thin frame with a silver glitter gel pen. 

I used foam tape to adhere the small tickets onto the large purple one and added a little black bow to the stem of the pumpkin. By the way, there is a third layer for the pumpkin to stencil a pumpkin face onto it, but I skipped that here.

 

Und nun kommen wir zurück zum Posttitel. Die Grundidee für mein Projekt war nämlich ein Daumenkino. Sofort, als ich die Stanze gesehen hatte, hatte ich die Idee im Kopf. Und so wird aus der Ticket-Karte ein Ticket-Kino. 

Weil das furchtbar schwer zu filmen ist, habe ich eine GIF für Euch erstellt. 

 

And now we make it back to the post title. I named it "ticket movie instead of movie tickets". From back when I was a kid a remember "Daumenkinos". Translated literally it means "thumb movie" and G..gle says, it's called a flip book in english. As soon as I saw the ticket die, I had the idea in my mind to make a flip book with it. And that's how a ticket card becomes a ticket movie. 

It's really hard to make a video of it in motion so I made an animated GIF instead. 

 

Na, fühlt Ihr Euch beobachtet? Ich liebe dieses kleine Monster. Es ist ein weiteres Motiv der Layering Stencils und so war das Daumenkino wirklich fix gemacht. Für die Bewegung musste ich nur eine kleine Anpassung vornehmen.

 

Do you feel watched? I love this little monster. It's another image of the layering stencil set and so this flip book was made really quickly. I just made one little change for the movement.  

 

Ich habe für mein Daumenkino 9 Tickets benutzt und sie aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Weil die Terrific Tickets Stanze gleich drei Tickets auf einmal stanzt, musste ich sie nur dreimal durch die Big Shot kurbeln. 

Auf den großen Teil der Tickets habe ich dann das Monstergesicht aufgewischt. Für das Gesicht habe ich Peeled Paint und Forest Moss, für Haare und Augenbrauen Forest Moss und Ground Espresso verwendet und dann auch noch den Mund mit Black Soot hinzugefügt. Da die Postion der Augen ja bei jedem Gesicht etwas versetzt sein sollte damit sie sich beim Durchblättern von links nach rechts und zurück bewegen, habe ich hier ein getrickst. Ich habe das erste Augenpaar mit dem Stencil ganz nach links im weißen Bereich gewischt. Die Augen des Stencils sind dafür nicht weit genug auseinander, also habe ich sie etwas weiter auseinander gesetzt. Auf dem nächsten Ticket habe ich sie etwas weiter nach rechts versetzt und so weiter. Beim fünften Ticket waren sie dann ganz rechts im weißen Bereich der Augen, auf den folgenden vier habe ich mich dann wieder zurückgearbeitet. Das klingt jetzt fast ein wenig kompliziert, war aber wirklich super leicht gemacht.

Um die Augen habe ich mit einem lilafarbenen Polychromo noch eine Iris aufgemalt und das schwarze der Augen mit einem schwarzen Glaze Pen nachgemalt. 

Da nur das weiße Ticket ein wenig fad aussah und auch, damit kein weißer Rand hinter dem lilafarbenen Ticket zu sehen ist, habe ich die Ränder der Tickets noch mit einem lilafarbenen Copic ausgefüllt. 

 

I used 9 tickets for my flip book and die cut them from white cardstock. Since the Terrific Tickets die cuts three tickets with one pass I only had to cut it three times.

Onto the large area of the ticket I stenciled the monster face. For the face I used Peeled Paint and Forest Moss, for the hair and eye brows Forest Moss and Ground Espresso and then added the mouth with Black Soot. Since the position of the eyes has to be moved a bit on each ticket to make him look from left to right and back I did a little trick here. I stenciled on the first pair of eyes to the very left of the white of the eyes. The eyes on the stencil are too close together for that so I changed their distance from each other slightly. On the next ticket I moved the eyes a bit to the right and so on. On ticket #5 the eyes were on the very right of the white eye pieces. On the following four I made them move back to the left. It may sound a bit complicated written down, but it's really easy to make.

I used a purple Polychromo to draw an iris around each pupil and covered the pupils with a black Glaze pen.

Since just the white ticket looked a bit plain and I also didn't want to have white edges visible behind the purple ticket on the front I drew a frame onto each ticket using a purple Copic.

 

Ich habe alle kleinen Tickets aufeinander geklebt, durch den perforierten Bereich knicken die einzelnen Tickets beim Durchblätter wunderbar nach vorne. 

Um den eingekerbeten Bereich zwischen den beiden Tickets habe ich dann noch etwas silber-weißes gestreiftes Twine gewickelt und eine Schleife damit gebunden. 

 

I glued all the small tickets on top of each other, because of the perforatec line between them the individual tickets flip easily forwards when flipping the "book".

I wrapped a piece of silver and white striped twine around the thinner area between the two tickets and tied it to a bow.

 

Farbe trifft Stempel #4

 

 

"Es war einmal" ist das Thema für die 4. Farbe trifft Stempel Challenge - es wird also  märchenhaft. Und ich musste feststellen, dass ich tatsächlich keinerlei Stempel zu dem Thema mehr habe, zumindest nicht von deutschen Herstellern. Also ist das Thema bei mir ein wenig versteckter auf der Karte integriert.

 

"Once upon a time" is the theme for the Farbe trifft Stempel challenge #4. I realized, that I have not one single fairytale related stamp left - at least not form a german brand. So the theme is a bit subtle on my card.

 

 Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück hellgrünen Cardstocks mit dem Feather Spiral Embossingfolder von SimonSaysStamp geprägt - das Muster erinnert mit so schön an Farne und Wald. Aus weißem Cardstock habe ich auch noch einen der Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Window von LawnFawn geschnitten. Mit dem Cutter habe ich dann ein Fenster, etwas größer als der gestitchte Rand im weißen Cardstock, aus dem Hintergrund geschnitten.

Den grünen Cardstock habe ich jeweils ein wenig mit Distress Ink Peeled Paint und Forest Moss gewischt und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. Anschließend habe ich den weißen Cardstock mit dem gewellten Fenster zwischen die beiden grünen Cardstockteile gesetzt.

Mit einem der A2 Thin Rectangle Frames von HoneyBeeStamps habe ich noch einen dünnen Rahmen aus matt-goldenem Cardstock gestanzt und um die Fenster herum geklebt.

 

For the background I dry embossed a piece of light green cardstock with the Feather Spiral embossing folder by SimonSaysStamp - the pattern reminds me ferns and the woods. 

From white cardstock I also die cut one of the  Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Window by LawnFawn. Using my paper cutter I cut a window into the green cardstock, making it slightly larger than the stitched frame on the white cardstock piece.

I inked the green pieces with a bit of  Distress Ink Peeled Paint and Forest Moss and splattered white acrylic paint onto it. Then I glued the white cardstock between the two green pieces.

Using the A2 Thin Rectangle Frames by HoneyBeeStamps  I cut a thin frame from matte gold metallic cardstock and glued it around the window in my background.

 

 Star meiner Karte ist natürlich der Frosch, der durch die Rahmen schaut. Und natürlich ist es der Froschkönig! Ich habe hier das Set Sei kein Frosch von Stampcorner benutzt.

Und zur Abwechslung habe ich das Motiv mal mit den Zig Real Brush Markern coloriert. Ich habe in No-Line Coloring Technik gearbeitet und das Motiv dafür mit dem NoLine Stempelkissen von InkOn3 abgestempelt.  Die Flecken an Kopf und Körper habe ich mit einem dunkelgrünen Glaze Pen nachgemalt. 

Ich konnte einfach nicht widerstehen und habe dem Frosch mit roten Polychromos einen roten Kussmund verpasst... Den und die Augen habe ich dick mit Glossy Accents überzogen. Und damit die Augen nicht irgendwie untergehen, habe ich rundherum noch einen grünen Rand aufgemalt.

Ein Froschkönig braucht natürlich eine Krone! Die hier ist mit einer Stanze aus dem Set Frog Prince von Spellbinders aus matte-goldenem Metallic Cardstock gemacht. Die kleinen Ausstanzungen habe ich rot hinterlegt.

Nach dem Ausschneiden habe ich den Froschkörper hinter, den Kopf auf die Fenster geklebt.

Über dem Frosch habe ich dann noch eine Sprechblase angebracht. Die habe ich einmal aus dunkelgrünem, einmal aus weißem Cardstock mit einer Stanze von MamaElephant gestanzt und auf den dunkelgrünen Cardstock ein Küss mich aus dem Liebesmöwen-Set von Create a Smile weiß aufembosst. 

 

Of course this frog is the star of my card - and yes, of course it's the frog prince! I used the Sei kein Frosch stamp set by Stampcorner here.

For a change I colored the image with my Zig Real Brush Markers, doing no-line coloring. I stamped it with the NoLine Ink by InkOn3. The speckles on the frog's head and body I re-drew with a drak green Glaze pen.

I just couldn't resist and gave the frog some deep red kissy lips, made with Polchromos.  I covered the lips and the frog's eyes with a thick layer of Glossy Accents. And to make sure those eyes don't get lost I drew a thin green line around them. 

Of course a frog prince needs a crown! This one I die cut from matte gold metallic cardstock using a die from the Frog Prince set by Spellbinders. The small cut outs I backed with red cardstock. 

After cutting the frog out I glued his body behind, his head on top of the window.  

Above the frog's head I added  a speech bubble. I cut it from dark green and white cardstock using a die by MamaElephant and white heat embossed a "kiss me" from Liebesmöwen by Create a Smile onto the green speech bubble.

 

 Natürlich befindet sich wieder (dünnes) 3D Tape zweichen den einzelnen Lagen des Hintergrunds - den Kopf des Frosches habe ich sogar noch etwas stärker hinterlegt, so dass er förmlich aus dem Rahmen herauszukommen scheint.

Mit Stanzen aus dem Set Mushroom and Ferns von HeroArts habe ich zwei Farne aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Und unten auf der Karte war Platz für einen weiteren Text - eigentlich eher als Fortsetzung des "küss mich" gedacht. Den Text hatte ich mir vor über 10 Jahren mal selbst gelasert. Aber er passte hier einfach zu gut.

Als Deko habe ich noch ein paar weiße Enamel Dots auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

Of course there's (thin) foam tape between the different layers of the background. I put even more tape behind the frog's head so he really seems to put it out of the frame. 

Using dies from Musroom and Ferns by HeroArts I die cut two ferns from dark green cardstock and adhered them to the background. And at the bottom of the card there was room for another text, that kind of finishes the "kiss me" inside the speech bubble. The text means "I am a cute bewitched prince". I lasered this stamp myself over 10 years ago but it was so perfect on this card.

I added a few white enamel dots as decoration, then glued the card panel onto a white note card.

 

One-Layer-Herbstkarte

Die heutige Herbstkarte ist nach dem Video von Jennifer McGuire entstanden, das Thema der Technique Throwback Thursday Challenge im Oktober ist. Die Grundidee des Videos ist ziemlich einfach, aber die Karten wirken toll: eine mit Stencil gemachte und per Ink Blending eingefärbte Form, auf die die Silhouette eines Motivs gestempelt und mit einem Text ergänzt wird. Und so ist hier - von der Deko mal abgesehen - tatsächlich eine One-Layer-Card entstanden.

Today's fall card is made after the video by Jennifer McGuire, that's theme of this month's Technique Throwback Thursday challenge. The basic idea is pretty simple but the cards look amazing: you simply stencil a shape onto cardstock, blending different colors, then stamp the silhouette of an image on top and add a text.  And so I made one of those rare one-layer-cards of mine - well, except for the embellishments.

 

Grundlage war hier einfach ein Stück weißer Cardstock, den ich etwa 1 cm kleiner als meinen Kartenrohling zugeschnitten habe.

 

Base for my card was a piece of white cardstock, that I cut about 1cm smaller than my card base.

 

 Auf den oberen Bereich des Cardstocks habe ich mit einem Kreisstencil und hellgelber, hellorange-farbener und hell-pflaumenfarbener Tinte einen Kreis aufgewischt. Dabei kam ein wilder Mix von Stempelkissen verschiedener Hersteller zum Einsatz. 

Und dann habe ich bemerkt, dass ich tatsächlich nicht wirklich Silhouette- oder andere vollflächige Stempel habe. Also kam wieder das Fall Harvest Stempelset von PaperteyInk zum Einsatz. Ich musste teilweise etwas dunklere Farben zum Abstempeln nehmen, als ich es normalerweise tun würde, aber nur so konnte ich die Lagen darunter überdecken.

Ich habe eine Sonnenblume, einen Kürbis mit zwei Blättern und einer Kürbisspalte aufgestempelt. 

 

Onto the upper area of the white cardstock I ink blended a circle using a circle stencil and light yellow, light orange and light plum colored ink. I used a wild mix of different brands of ink here.

And then I realized that I don't have any silhouette or other solid image stamps. So I used the Fall Harvest stamp set by PapertreyInk again. I had to use darker tones of ink then I'd normally use to stamp some of the images but this was the only way to cover up the layer underneath.  

I stamped a sunflower, a pumpkin with two leaves and a pumpkin slice onto/over the circle.

 

 Auch der große Text ist aus diesem Stempelset. Eigentlich passt er genau auf das Samentütchen, aber ich fand, dass die Form auch super unter meine Motive passt. 

Um das Pflaume im Hintergrund nochmal aufzugreifen, habe ich Versafine Clair Chianti - tatsächlich die einzige Farbe, die ich mir in meinem Mix gemerkt habe - benutzt, um den Text aufzustempeln. Der kleine Text darunter ist aus Itty Bitty Thanks von MFT. Außerdem habe ich ein kleines Blessings aus Autumn Blessing, ebenfalls von MFT, oben auf den Kreis gestempelt, um das Design auszubalancieren. Für beides habe ich wieder das Chianti zum Stempeln verwendet.

 

Also the large text is from this stamp set. It fits perfectly onto the seed pocket in the set but I thought, it's shape works also great under my images.

To pick up the light plum in the background again I used Versafine Clair Chianti - acutally the only color I used that I remember the name of - to stamp the text. The small text underneath is from Itty Bitty Thanks by MFT. I also stamped a small "blessings" from Autumn Blessings by MFT onto the top of the ink blended circle to balance out the design. For both I used the Chianti ink again.

 

 Als Deko habe ich dann einige orange-lila irisierende Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt und auf die Sonnenblume ein hell-lila farbenes Herz augeklebt.

Den Cardstock habe ich dann dunkelgrün gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I added a few orange-purple iridescent pearls as decoration and glued a light purple clay heart onto the sunflower.

I mattet the white cardstock with a dark green and then adhered it to a white card base.

 

LawnFawnatics Challenge #206

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Das Thema der LawnFawnatics Challenge #206 lautet "there's no place like home". Weil ich letzte Woche meine Bestellung aus dem neusten Release erhalten habe, musste davon gleich etwas eingeweiht werden. Und weil es sich um das Winter- und Weihnachtsrelease handelt, ist eine Weihnachtskarte entstanden.

The theme of the LawnFawnatics challenge #206 is "there's no place like home". Last week I recieved my order from the latest  release and of course I had to use some of it on this card. And since it's the winter and christmas release I made a christmas card for my challenge entry.

 

 Auf den ersten Blick könnte die Karte auch eine normale Winterkarte sein - nur die Deko rund um die Tür und der Text entlarven sie als Weihnachtskarte.

Für die Hausfassade habe ich mit einem Mauerstencil und Distress Inks Pumice Stone, Lost Shadow und Hickory Smoke eine Mauer auf ein Stück weißen Cardstock gewischt und dann sandfarbene Metallic-Watercolor aufgespritzt. 

Ans untere Ende der Karte habe ich einen Streifen hellgrauen Cardstocks als Gehsteig vor dem Haus aufgeklebt. Den habe ich ein wenig mit Hickory Smoke gewischt.

 

At first look the card could also be a regular winter card - only the decorations around the door and the text make it christmas-sy.

For the house front I used a brick stencil and Distress Ink Pumice Stone, Lost Shadow and Hickory Smoke to add a brick pattern to a piece of white cardstock, then splattered sand colored metallic watercolor onto it.

Onto the bottom of the card I applied a strip of grey cardstock as a sidewalk in front of the house. I shaded that as a bit of  Hickory Smoke.

 

 Auf dem Gehtsteig vor dem Haus steht der süße Fuchs, den ich mit der neuen Build-a-Fox Stanze gemacht habe. Die Mütze und der Schal sind aus dem Build-a-Critter Winter Accessoires Set. 

Alle Teile der Karte sind aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert. Die Augen des Fuchses habe ich mit einem schwarzen Glaze-Pen gefüllt.

Unter dem Fuchs war dann Platz für meinen Text. Der ist aus dem Set Winter Birds und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

 

On the sidewalk in front of the house is standing the cute fox, that I made with the new Build-a-Fox die. Hat and scarf are from Build-a-Critter Winter Accessoires.

I die cut alle pieces on this card from colored carstock and shaded them with Copics. The eyes and nose of the Fox I filled with a black Glaze Pen.

Under the fox there was room for my text. It's from Winter Birds and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

 

 Die Haustür ist mit der Shut the Front Door Stanze aus verschiedenen Tönen grauen Cardstock gestanzt. Für das bogenförmige Fenster, bzw. dessen Rahmen, habe ich die Tür einmal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und dann um die Ausstanzungen in der Tür herum mit der Schere geschnitten. Das Fenster habe ich dann mit hellblauem Cardstock hinterlegt.

Auf die Tür habe ich noch ein kleines Türschloss aus dem Set Acorn House Set angebracht. 

Über der Tür hängt die Girlande aus dem Christmas Garland Set. Ich habe sie aus hell- und dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt, mit Copics schattiert und dann etwas gerade gebogen aufeinander geklebt. In der Mitte habe ich dann eine rote Schleife aus dem selben Set aufgeklebt. Und da zu Weihnachten Lichterketten nicht fehlen dürfen, habe ich noch die Lichterkette aus dem Set Furry and Bright viermal abgestempelt, ausgeschnitten und die Birnen mit Glossy Accents überzogen. Zwei der Teile habe ich in die Tannengirlande eingearbeitet, zwei hängen lose an der Tür entlang herunter.

Rechts under links der Tür befinden sich im oberen Bereich zwei Laternen, im unteren zwei weihnachtlich dekorierte Bäume im Blumentopf. 

Die Laternen und die Blumentöfpe sind aus dem Set Pumpkin House. Ich habe beides aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und die Laternen hellblau hinterlegt. Die Bäume sind aus dem Pivot Pop-Up Set und wieder mit einer roten Schleife dekoriert. 

 

The door I made from different shades of grey cardstock using the Shut the Front Door die set. For the arched window  - or better said its frame - I die cut the door again from white cardstock and cut with my scissors around the window cut outs.  I backed the window with light blue cardstock.

I added a little keyhole from Acorn House to the door.

Above the door I've hung up the garland from Christmas Garland. I cut it from light and dark green cardstock, shaded them with Copics and stacked them, bending them a bit to make them more straight. Onto the center I adhered a red bow from the same set. And since there have to be some string of lights in any christmas decoration I stamped the ones from Furry and Bright four times, cut them out and covered the bulbs with Glossy Accents. Two of them I've woven into the garland, the other two just dangle down to the left and right of the door. 

There are two lanterns next to the top of the door and two christmas-sy decorated pot plants next to the stairs. 

The lantern and flower pots are from Pumpkin House. I cut them from black cardstock and backed the lanterns with light blue cardstock. For the trees I used dies from Pivot Pop-Up and decorated them with the same red bow that I had also used on the garland.

 

 Zum Zusammensetzen der Szene kam dickes und dünnes 3D Tape zum Einsatz. Dann habe ich alle Elemente, auch den Gehsteig, mit Schneepaste betupft und anschließend noch weiße Acrylfarbe als Schneeflocken über die komplette Szene gespritzt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt, den man aber nicht sieht, da er exakt die selbe Größe wie der Kartenaufleger hat.

 

To put the scene together I used thin and thick foam tape. Then I  applied snow paste onto all the pieces, also the sidewalk, and splattered white acrylic paint as falling snow over the whole scene.

As the last step I adhered the card panel to a white note card, that you can't see because it has the exact same size as the card panel.

 

Farbe trifft Stempel #3

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute startet bereits die dritte Farbe trifft Stempel Mitmach-Challenge. Diesmal lautet das Thema "die bunte Welt der Pflanzen". Und ja, eventuell habe ich das Thema wörtlich genommen. Aber da ich eine (weitere) Herbstkarte gemacht habe, und die Farben der Natur nie so schön leuchten wie im Herbst, bot sich das doch an.

Today we are starting the 3rd Farbe trifft Stempel challenge. The theme this time is "the colorful world of plants". And yes, maybe I took that theme literally. But I made (another) fall card and nature's color are never as bright as in fall. So this was kind of obvious.

 

Auf dieser Karte ist der Hintergrund gleichzeitig das Motiv und ich habe quasi komplett auf Deko verzichtet, damit es schön wirkt.

Für das Motiv kam der Stempel Herbstlaub von Create a Smile zum Einsatz. Okay, nur einTeil davon, denn eigenlich ist das Motiv in DinA5-Größe. Ich habe mir einen Bereich ausgesucht und habe ihn mit dem No-Line Coloring Ink von InkOn3 auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. 

Coloriert habe ich mit Copics und versucht, den meisten Blättern einen mehrfarbigen Look zu geben. Die Bereiche zwischen den Blättern habe ich dann mit einem hellblauen Copic gefüllt und mit einem etwas dunkleren Blauton Schatten neben die Blätter gemalt. Da das Blau aber irgendwie zu leuchtend war, habe ich alles mit einem W-Marker abgeschwächt. 

Nur die Outlines habe ich dann mit farblich passenden Polychromos ganz soft nachgemalt und damit auch einige Details auf die Blätter gemalt. 

 

On this card the background is also the image and I kind of completly skipped any embellishments to make the background the star of the show.

The image is made with the Herbstlaub stamp by Create a Smile. Okay, a part of it, because this image is double the size than a regular card. I simply picked an area and stamped it with No-Line Coloring Ink by InkOn3 onto white cardstock.

I colored the image with Copics, trying to add  a color change to most of the leaves. 

I filled the areas between the leaves with a light blue Copic and added some drop shadows with a darker tone. But that blue was just too bright so I toned it down with a W-tone.

I softly traced just the outlines of the leaves with matching Polychromos and used them also to add some details to the leaves.

 

 Den Text habe ich oben mittig auf meiner Karte untergebracht. 

Das Wort Herbst ist aus dem Set Kleine Worte 2 von Stampcorner und weiß auf einen kleinen Streifen Velllum embosst. 

Das Wortteil "zauber" darunter ist eigentlich das Ende der Winterzauber-Stanze, ebenfalls von Stampcorner. Ich habe es viermal aus weißem Cardstock und für die oberste Lage einmal aus matt-goldenem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt und alles aufeinander geklebt.

Nach dem Aufkleben habe ich unter allem noch einen weiteren Herbsttext mit weißem Embossingpuler direkt auf den Hintergrund embosst. Der Text ist aus dem Set Der Herbst ist da von Create a Smile und ich fand, er passt perfekt zu meiner bunten Karte.

 

I added the text to the center of the upper half of my card. It means "magic of fall", the subtext translates "wind and weather, colorful leaves". It rhymes in german.

I white heat embossed part of the text onto a thin strip of vellum. The rest I die cut - four times from white cardstock and for the top layer once from matte gold metallic cardstock, then stacked the pieces. After adhering the texts I also white heat embossed  the subtext directly onto the background, placing it under the glued on text. I thought, it went perfectly  with the colorful leaves on my card.

 

 Um das Gold im Text nochmal aufzugreifen, aber auch weil Gold und Herbst einfach zusammengehören und ich einfach nicht ohne kann, habe ich goldene Metallic-Watercolor auf den Hintergrund gespritzt. 

Rund um den Text habe ich drei weiße Herzen sowie einige dunkelblau-türkise Enamel Dots verteilt. Dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

To bring in the gold in the text again, but also gold and fall just go together and I simply can't do without, I splattered some gold metallic watercolor onto the background.

Around the text I added three white clay hearts and some dark blue-ish aqua Enamel Dots. Then I glued the card panel onto a white note card.

Halloween rückt immer näher, dabei bin ich gerade so schön drin im Halloween-Kartenmodus. Also nutze ich die kurze Zeit, die mir noch bleibt, und zeige Euch heute eine weitere Halloween-Karte.

Halloween is coming closer but I am in a Halloween card frenzy. So I am making the best of the little time I have left until the 31st and share another Halloween card with you today.

 

Die Karte ist eigentlich relativ einfach, aber ich liebe sie. 

Ich habe hier den Spooky Eyes Stempel von SimonSaysStamp verwendet. Es gab mit dem diesjährigen Stamptember-Release einen Stencil mit identischem Motiv. Bis ich bestellt habe, war der aber ausverkauft. Also habe ich stattdessen den etwas älteren Spooky Eyes Stempel bestellt.

Ich habe ihn hier einmal mit schwarzem Memento und auf ein anderes Stück Cardstock mit Versafine Clair Nocturne gestempelt. Das eine ist natürlich Copic-geeignet, das Versafine macht aber eine super satten, dunklen Abdruck.

Bei dem Abdruck mti Memento habe ich dann in einige der Augen grüne Iris gemalt und die Pupillen mit einem schwarzen Glaze-Pen nachgemalt. 

Die Augen, die ich auf dem ersten Abdruck coloriert habe, habe ich dann aus dem zweiten Abdruck ausgeschnitten. 

Den Abdruck mit den Ausschnitten habe ich dann mit 3D Tape auf den colorierten Abdruck geklebt. So liegen die colorierten Augen tiefer.

 

The card is quite simple, but I love the outcome.

I used the Spooky Eyes stamp by SimonSaysStamp here. In this year's Stamptember release they had a stencil with the exact same pattern but when I placed my order this was sold out. So I ordered the a bit older Spooky Eyes background stamp instead.

I stamped it once with Memento and onto a different sheet of cardstock with Versafine Clair Nocturne. The first is great for Copic coloring, the Versafine makes such a dark and flawless image. 

I used Copics to draw green irises onto a few eyes on the image stamped with Memento and used a black Glaze Pen to make the pupils extra dark.

The eyes, that I had colored on the first image, I cut out of the second one. Then I glued the one with the cut outs with foam tape onto the colored image. Now the colored eyes lay in the back.

 

 Ich fand es fast ein wenig schade, einen Teil der Karte mit einem Motiv zu verdecken, aber was muss, das muss. 

Ich habe verschiedene Stempel aus den Itty Bitty Stempelsets von MFT kombiniert und die Texte weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Für das "watching" habe ich ein "witching" abgewandelt, deswegen sitzt das A hier etwas tiefer. 

Das Eek habe ich mit dem Mix and Mingle Alphabet von WhimsyStamps aus grünem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt. 

Ich habe die verschiedenen Texte auf Vellum geklebt und mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. Hätte hinter das "watching" ein "you" gehört? Wenn alles so zusammengesetzt ist, finde ich fast, ja. Aber dafür ist es zu spät. 

Den Text habe ich dann wieder mit 3D Tape auf die Karte gekelbt und dabei versucht, so wenig Auge wie möglich zu verdecken. Rund um den Text habe ich dann ein paar grüne Perlen als Deko verteilt.

 

It felt a bit sad to cover part of the image with a text, but the card just needed one.

I combined different stamps from the Itty Bitty series by MFT to write my text and white heat embossed them onto black cardstock. To make the "watching" I replaced the I in "witching" with an A, I just didn't get it perfect in line so it's  a bit further down. 

The Eek I die cut from green glitter cardstock using the Mix and Mingle Alphabet by WhimsyStamps. 

I glued the different texts onto vellum and cut them out with my scissors. Is there a "you" missing behind the "watching"? When the texts are put together like that, I think it does. But it's too late for that now.

I adhered the texts with foam tape to the card, trying to cover as little of the eyes as possible. Around the text I added some green pearls as decoration. 

 

Und hier seht Ihr besser die verschiedenen Ebenen, auf denen sich die Augen befinden. Wenn man die Karte in Händen hält, wirkt das noch mal anders. 

 

And here you can see the different layers of the card better. In real life it looks even more spooktacular. 

 

No Bones About It!

Kennt Ihr diese Tage, Ihr habt recht ambitionierte Pläne und dann läuft nichts so, wie geplant? So ging es mir mit dieser Karte, die ich für das WhimsyStamps Halloweeners Team gemacht habe. Eigentlich sollten hier erstmal nur die Augen der Skelette sichtbar sein, der Rest verdeckt von Kopierpapier. Sobald man ein Licht, das ich hinter den Filmstrip-Fenstern verstecken wollte, anmacht, wären die kompletten Skelette sichtbar gewesen, quasi wie auf einem Röntgenbild. Denkfehler und Umsetzungsprobleme führten dann dazu, dass ich die Idee irgendwann verworfen habe und stattdessen die Skelette gleich sichtbar in den Filmstreifen geklebt habe.  Die Karte gefällt mir trotzdem.

Do you know those days, where you have pretty ambitious plans and nothing goes accordingly? That's what happened with this card, that I made for the WhimsyStamps Halloweeners Team. I had planned to just have the skeletons' eyes visible  first, the rest of the images covered by copy paper. When you make the windows light up, the whole images would have been visible, kind of like an x-ray. Some wrong-thinking and problems with the copy paper finally made me change my plans and instead I just put the skeletons into the film strip frames. I still like how this card turned out.

 

Auf der Karte habe ich den Cardstock von Cardstock Warehouse verwendet, den sie uns freundlicherweise geschickt haben. Leider gibt es ihn hier in Deutschland nicht, denn er ist wirklich toll. Sehr stabil, glatt und das schwarze Papier schimmert sogar. Und auch das Vellum, das hier ebenfalls zum Einsatz kam, ist wahnsinnig stabil. 

Ich habe den Hintergrund für meine Karte aus grau-grünem Mid-Green Cardstock geschnitten. Damit der Hintergrund nicht zu leer wirkt, habe ich dann die Hände und Beine aus dem Stempelset No Bones About It mit Versamark auf dem Hintergrund verteilt abgestempelt und dabei jeweils die Hände und Füße nicht mitgestempelt. Dann habe ich sie weiß embosst. 

Die Ränder des Cardstocks habe ich mit Distress Ink Forest Moss ein wenig abgedunkelt und anschließend die Knochen mit einem weißen Polychromo etwas gefüllt. Unter jeden Knochen habe ich einen Schlagschatten mit einem grauen Copics gemalt. Dann habe ich lila-farbene Metallic-Watercolor auf den Cardstock gespritzt. 

 

I used cardstock from Cardstock Warehouse on this card. They were so kind to send us an assorted pack in Halloween colors. Sadly those papers aren't available here in Germany but if you can your hands on it, you should buy some. It's heavy cardstock in beautiful colors and super smooth. The black paper even has some shimmer and the vellum, that I used on this card as well, is extremly heavy but still see through.

I cut the cardstock for my background from grey-ish green Mid-Green Cardstock. To fill the background a bit I stamped the arms and legs from No Bones About It several all over the cardstock with Versamark, making sure to not have any of the hands and feet visible. Then I white heat embossed them. 

I inked the edges of the cardstock with a bit of Distress Ink Forest Moss and used a white Polychromo to just fill in the bones a bit. I also added a drop shadow to each bone using a grey Copic marker. Then I splattered purple metallic watercolor onto the cardstock.

 

 Der Schimmer-Cardstock ist Onyx aus der Stardream Collection. Ich habe daraus die Slimline Film Strip Stanze von WhimsyStamps gestanzt und eines der Felder abgeschnitten. 

In den beiden noch übrig gebliebenen Feldern sind dann die Skelette zu sehen. Sie sind ebenfalls aus dem Set No Bones About It. Ich habe sie nur ganz leicht grünlich-braun coloriert und die Augen, passend zum verwendeten Cardstock, grün coloriert. Die Augen sind zudem mit Glossy Accents überzogen. 

Hinter den Skeletten befindet sich eine Lage Vellum - ich war ja immer noch davon ausgegangen, das hier ein Licht hinter funktionieren würde. Deswegen habe ich auch aus dem Hintergrund zwei Rechtecke in der Größe der Fenster im Filmstreifen ausgeschnitten. Durch die ist nun der giftgrüne Chartreuse Cardstock zu sehen. Aber so ist der Bereich hinter den Fenstern etwas auf vom Hintergrund abgehoben. 

Die Texte habe ich dann weiß auf Amethyst Cardstock embosst, ausgeschnitten und im oberen Bereich der Karte auf den Filmstreifen geklebt. 

 

The black shimmer cardstock is Onyx from the Stardream Collection. I die cut the Slimline Film Strip die by WhimsyStamps from it and cut off one of the windows.

Into the two left over windows I placed the skeletons. They are again from No Bones About It. I just shaded them lightly with a green-ish brown color and gave the eyes a bright green, matching it with the cardstock colors. The eyes are also covered with Glossy Accents.

Behind the skeletons there's a layer of vellum - that's from when I still had the plan to include a light in my card. That's also why I had cut two rectangles in the same size as the windows in the film strip from the background. Through those you can now see the bright green Chartreuse cardstock. But that makes the area behind the film strip a bit different from the background.

The texts I white heat embossed onto Amethyst cardstock, cut them out and adhered them to the top of the film strip.

 

 Hier seht Ihr das Skelett, das sich im unteren der Fenster befindet. 

Und in der unteren Ecke der Karte befindet sich ein großes WTF?. Das habe ich mit der WTF Word and Shadow Stanze gemacht - die Buchstaben aus dem hellgrünen, die Schattenlage aus dem lilafarbenen Cardstock. Die grünen Buchstaben habe ich mit Coipcs ein wenig schattiert. 

Eigentlich hatte ich dieses Wort aufgeklebt, als noch nur die Augen der Skelette zu sehen waren und der Rest mit Kopierpapier verdeckt war. Da passte es irgendwie super - denn bei der Kartenfront hätte m an schon "WTF is going on here"  denken können. Da ich nur die Kopierpapierlage entfernt habe, blieb das bereits angeklebte WTF auf der Karte. Ich finde trotzdem, dass es sich ganz gut darauf macht.

 

Here you can see the skeleton, that's place inside the lower window.

And in the bottom right corner of the card there's a large WTF?. I die cut that with the WTF Word and Shadow die - the letters form light green, the shadow from purple cardstock. The green letters I shaded a bit with Copics.

I originally had glued down this text when only the skeletons' eyes were visible and the rest was covered with copy paper. It seemed perfect, because you might have thought "WTF is going on here" with just the eyes visible. Since I only removed the copy paper, the WTF, that I had already glued down, stayed where it was. I still think it goes great with my card.

 

 Den Filmstreifen habe ich leicht schräg auf den Hintergrund geklebt und einige lilafarbene Pailetten als Deko auf der Karte verteilt.

Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einen Kartenrohling, den ich aus dem Chartreuse Cardstock geschnitten habe, aufgeklebt.

 

I adhered the film strip a bit slanted onto the background and added some purple sequins as decoration. 

As the last step I adhered the card panel to a card base, that I have cut from the Chartreuse Cardstock. 

 

Farbe trifft Stempel #2

"Tierwelt" ist das Thema, das wir uns für die zweite Farbe Trifft Stempel Challenge haben einfallen lassen. Und da sind die Möglichkeiten natürlich fast unbegrenzt. Ich habe eine Herbstkarte mit Fuchs gemacht.

"Wildlife" is the theme we picked for the 2nd Farbe Trifft Stempel challenge. And of course the possibilities are nearly endless here. I made a fall card with a cute fox. 

 

 Ich habe hier mit Stanzen von Stampcorner einen Rahmen aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und dahinein meine Szene gesetzt.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus hellblauem Cardstock, den ich mit Distress Ink Peacock Feathers und Salvaged Patina gewischt habe. Dann habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Mit der Birch Tree Stanze von MFT habe ich dann Birkenstämme aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copis eine leichte Rindenstruktur auf die Stämme gemalt.

 

With dies by Stampcorner I created a frame from white cardstock and glued my scene behind it.

The background is made from a piece of light blue cardstock, that I inked with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina. Then I added splatters of white acrylic paint.

I die cut some birch trees from white cardstock using the Birch Tree die by MFT and used Copics to add a soft bark pattern onto them.

 

 Mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Slimline Meadow Stanzenset von WhimsyStamps habe ich die Baumkronen aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics in verschiedenen Gelb-, Rot-, Braun- und Grüntönen Punkte aufgetupft. Die habe ich einfach wild drauflos gemacht und sie überlappen sich größtenteils. So entsteht ein toller Herbstlaub-Look, und das ohne viel Arbeit. 

Die Baumkronen habe ich dann hinter die Birkenstämme geklebt.

Direkt unter dem Laub habe ich meinen Text aufgeklebt. Dafür habe ich mit einem Stempel von MFT das "happy" weiß auf braunen Cardstock embosst. Das Wort Fall ist mit der Giant Happy Fall Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht. Ich habe eine weiße Schattenlage sowie die obere Lage aus rötlich-braunem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt und das Happy jeweils weggeschnitten. 

 

Using a die from the Slimline Meadow die set by WhimsyStamps I die cut the top of the trees from white cardstock, then filled them with dots made with Copics in different shades of yellow, red, brown and green. Those dots overlap in most of the ares. This creates a great fall leaf look, and that with nearly no effort.

I glued the tree tops behind the birch trees.

Directly under the leaves I glued on my text. I used a stamp by MFT to white heat emboss the "happy" onto brown cardstock. The word "fall" is made using the Giant Happy Fall die by LawnFawn. I die cut the shadow layer from white cardstock, the top layer from reddish brown mirror cardstock and cut off the "happy" of both die cuts.

 

 Unten rechts habe ich dann mein Motiv auf den Rahmen geklebt. Für das Motiv habe ich zwei Stempel von Kulricke kombiniert: den Fuchs sowie den Blumen-Kreis. Damit die Outlines nicht gar so hart wirken, habe ich sie mit brauner Tinte gestempelt und die Motive dann mit Copics herbstlich coloriert. Anschließend habe ich mit farblich passenden Polychromos feine Striche ins Fell des Fuches gemalt. Die Beeren an den Zweigen habe ich mit einem roten, Nase und Auge des Fuches mit einem schwarzen Glaze Pen nachgemalt.

Ich habe die Motive mit der Schere ausgeschnitten und dabei den Kreis, der rund um die Blumen verläuft, weggeschnitten. Dann habe ich den Fuchs hineingesetzt. 

 

In the bottom right I adhered my image onto the fframe. I combined two images by Kulricke here: the fox and the Blumen-Kreis. To make the outlines appear not too hard I used a brown ink pad to stamp the images, then colored them with Copics in fall-ish colors. Then I used Polychromos in matching colors to draw fine lines onto the fox, making him appear furry. 

I covered the berries with a red, the fox's nose and eye with a black Glaze pen.

I cut out the images with my scissors, cutting off the circle that's around the flowers originally. Then I put the fox behind the flowers.

 

 Die Birke rechts ist direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt, die anderen beiden sind mit dünnem 3D Tape hinterlegt. Rahmen und Text habe ich dann mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt und für den Fuchs und die Blumen das dicke Tape aufgedoppelt, so dass er der höchste Punkt der Karte ist. 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

The birch tree on the right is glued directly onto the background, the other trees I backed with thin foam tape. I put thick foam tape behind the frame and text and doubled up the thick tape behind the fox and flowers  to make those the most raised part of the card.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Halloween-Karte nur mit Stanzteilen

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Wie der Posttitel schon verrät habe ich heute eine Halloween-Karte für Euch, die, bis auf den Text, nur mit Stanzteilen gemacht ist. Ich hatte da noch einige Sets aus dem August-Release von LawnFawn unbenutzt auf dem Tisch. Und bevor die Spukzeit rum ist, wollten die natürlich noch verwendet werden!

 

Hello everyone! 

Today I have a Halloween card, that I created only using die cuts - except for the text. I still had some sets from LawnFawn's august release unused on my table. And before spooky season is over, those wanted to be used.

 

Ach, ein Stencil kam auch noch zum Einsatz, nämlich für den Mond. Ich habe den Nightsky Stencil von LawnFawn verwendet und erst den Mond ganz leicht mit Distress Ink Scattered Straw gewischt. Die Krater habe ich dann mit Pumice Stone gemacht und von dem Pumice Stone anschließend ganz wenig noch auf den Rest des Monds aufgetragen. Das macht ihn nicht nur weniger gelb, sondern auch die Ränder der Krater etwas softer.

Den Himmel drumherum habe ich dann mit Distress Ink Fossilized Amber, Crackling Campfire, Fired Brick und Ground Espresso gemacht. Nun, ganz ehrlich, das sah mir ein wenig zu sehr nach Sonnenuntergang am Meer aus. Also habe ich auch noch etwas Black Soot hinzugefügt. Dann habe ich erst einige Wassertropfen und anschließend schwarze Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. So ist der Himmel dann defnitiv halloween-ig genug für mich. 

 

Oh, I also used a stencil to create the moon. I made it with the Nightsky stencil by LawnFawn and created the moon first by inking it on with just a  bit of Distress Ink Scattered Straw. I added the craters with Pumice Stone and  then added a bit of the Pumice Stone all over the moon. That does not only tone down the yellow but also softens the edges of the craters.

The sky around the moon I created with Distress Ink Fossilized Amber, Crackling Campfire, Fired Brick and Ground Espresso. Well, that looked way too much like a sunset at the beach to me and I added some Black Soot to the mix. Then I splattered some water and also black acrylic paint onto the sky. Now I was finally happy and the sky halloween-ish enough for my taste.

 

 Unten am Boden ist ein kleiner Geist mit seinen beiden Kürbis-Freunden bereit für die große Spuknacht. 

Der süße Geist aus Build-a-Critter More Costumes ist eigentlich ein Kostüm für den Hasen aus Build-a-Bunny, aber ich finde ihn "einfach so" benutzt fast noch süßer.  Ich habe ihn aus hellgrauem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics leicht schattiert. Hinter die Ausschnitte für Nase und Augen habe ich grau-braunen Cardstock gesetzt und dann nur die Augen und Nase des Hasen aufgeklebt. Ist das nun ein Hund, ein Bär oder etwas ganz anderes unter dem Kostüm? Das überlasse ich ganz Euch. 

Die beiden Kürbislaternen sind aus dem Set Build-a-Jack-o-Lantern, ebenso wie die herausgeholte Kürbisfüllung samt Löffel und Messer rechts auf der Karte. Und weil die Kürbisse auch so gerne verkleidet sein wollten, habe ich aus einem einen Piraten und aus dem anderen eine Hexe gemacht. Dafür kam dann das Build-a-Critter Costumes Set zum Einsatz, aus dem übrigens auch der Kürbiseimer samt Bonbons ist, den der Geist in den Händen hält. 

Alle Teile sind aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert. 

Die Bonbons habe ich aus rotem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt, die Enden schwarz angemalt und mit einem schwarzen Fineliner auch das eingestanzte Muster, das man im Glitter-Cardstock nicht mehr gesehen hat, nachgemalt. Die Highlights aller Teile sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht. 

Nun fehlte für meine Motive noch ein Boden. Für Halloween passt das natürlich Nebel. Ich habe zwei der Stitched Simply Wavy  Borders aus Vellum gestanzt und je eine vor und hinter die Kürbisse geklebt. Und für eine große Nebelwand dahinter habe ich die Randstanze der Bubble Border aus Vellum gestanzt. Das sah mir dann aber doch zu sehr nach Wolkenwand aus. Also habe ich die Stanze nochmal von unten angelegt und einen großen, fluffigen Nebelschwaden daraus gemacht, der nun hinter den Motiven wabert. So wird auch nicht so viel des Himmels verdeckt.

 

At the bottom of the card a little ghost and his two pumpkin friends are all ready for Halloween night. 

The cute ghost is from Build-a-Critter More Costumes and meant to be used to dress up the bunny from Build-a-Bunny. But I think, it looks even cuter without the bunny behind it. I die cut it from light grey cardstock and shaded him with Copics. Behind the cut outs for the eyes and nose I put some grey-ish brown cardstock and then glued just the eyes and nose of the bunny on top. Is there a dog, a bear or something else under the sheets? I leave that up to you.

The Jack o' lanterns are from Build-a-Jack-O'-Lantern, as well as the pumpkin "guts" and spoon and knife. And since the pumpkins wanted to be dressed up, too, I turned them into a pirate and a witch. For these costumes I used the Build-a-Critter Costumes set. From this is also the pumpkin bucket, that the ghost is holding, and the candy.

I die cut all pieces from colored cardstock and shaded them with Copics.

The candy I cut from red glitter cardstock, colored the ends black and used a black fineliner to draw in the cut in details, that aren't visible very clearly on the glitter cardstock.  The highlights I made with a white gel pen.

Now my images just needed a ground to stand on and for Halloween, some fog is perfect. I die cut two of the Stitched Simply Wavy Borders from Vellum and glued them on top and behind the pumpkins. And for a curtain of mist behind the images I had die cut the edge die from Bubble Border from vellum. But that looked too much like clouds. So I turned the border around and also cut it from the bottom of the vellum to create a large, fluffy piece of fog, that's now behind the images. And it doesn't cover too much of the sky, too.

 

 Oben am Himmel war dann noch Platz für einen Text und eine Fledermaus - die darf an Halloween natürlich auch nicht fehlen!

Die Fledermaus ist aus dem Full Moon Stanzenset. Ich habe den Körper aus grauem Cardstock, die Flügel wieder aus rotem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert. Dabei habe ich den Flügeln ein Muster aufgemalt. 

Die Texte auf meiner Karte sind aus Costume Party ("happy Halloween") sowie Tiny Halloween und weiß auf schwarzem Cardstock embosst.

 

In the sky there was room for my text and a bat - a must on any Halloween card.

The bat is from Full Moon. I cut the body from  grey cardstock, the wings from red glitter cardstock and used Copics again to shade them. I also drew on some details onto the wings.

The texts are from Costume Party ("Happy Halloween") and Tiny Halloween and white heat embossed onto black cardstock. 

 

 Ich habe die beiden Kürbisse samt dem Nebel-Boden und die Texte mit dünnem, den Geist und die Fledermaus mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt. Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I backed the pumpkins with the foggy ground and the texts with thin, the ghost and bat with thick foam tape. Then I adhered the card panel to a white note card.
