Stempeleinmaleins - Geburtstagsausgabe vom 31. Oktober 2021 Teil 3

Und hier folgt Teil 3 unseres Stempeleinmaleins-Geburtstags. Diesmal haben wir eine Farbinspiration für Euch. Okay, eigentlich zwei. Mit den Farben einer der Inspirationen habe ich diese Karte gemacht.

Der Hintergrund ist ganz extrem von Nichol Spohr inspiriert. Im August hat sie ebenfalls eine Karte mit vielen gestencilten Kürbissen im Hintergrund gemacht. Als ich das Video gesehen hatte, wusste ich endlich, was ich mit meiner Kürbisstencil machen möchte! Allerdings habe ich untypische Farben verwendet - auch ohne orange, grün und lila kann man eine Halloweenkarte machen!

This is part 3 of our Stempeleinmaleins birthday celebration. This time we have a color inspiration. Well, acutally we have picked two color combos. I used one of them for this card.

The background is highly inspired by Nichol Spohr. Back in august she shared a video making a card with lots of stenciled pumpkins in the background. When I saw her video I finally knew what I wanted to use for my pumpkin stencil. But I went with some non traditionals colors - you can make a Halloween card without orange, green and purple!

Die von mir verwendete Farbkombi besteht aus braun, hellgrau, weiß und türkis. Da das Türkis auf meiner Karte ein wenig zu kurz kam, habe ich den Hintergrund türkis gemattet und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. Ich habe absichtlich einen breiteren weißen Rand sichtbar gelassen, das gefiel mir für diese Karte super.

The color combo I used was brown, light grey, white and turquoise. Since it felt like there wasn't enough turquoise on my card, I matted the finished background with turquoise cardstock and glued everything onto a white note card. I kept a wider white brim visible since I liked it with this design.

Als Basis für meine Deko habe ich ein Stück hellgrauen Cardstock genommen. Dann habe ich mit einer Stencil von TomyArt die Kürbisse mit Distress Oxide Frayed Burlap und Ground Espresso aufgewischt - immer einen nach dem anderen, so dass die komplette Seite schön gefüllt wird. Die Stiele habe ich mit Speckled Egg gewischt.

Für die Gesichter habe ich die Jack'o'Lantern Stencil von TayloredExpressions und Distress Oxide Black Soot benutzt. 

Anschließend habe ich mit dem weißen Yeti Ink Stempelkissenvon LawnFawn den Ghoulish Greetings Background Stempel von MFT über den kompletten Cardstock gewischt. Durch die Distress Oxide Farbe, wird das Weiß auf den Kürbissen ein wenig abgeschwächt, so dass er nicht die ganze Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zieht.

As the base for my decoration I used a piece of light grey cardstock. Then I used a stencil by TomyArt to add pumpkins to it. I inked those up with Distress Oxide Frayed Burlap and Ground Espresso and Speckled Egg for the stems. I've put down each pumpkin individually to end up with a piece of cardstock evenly filled with rows of pumpkins.

For the faces I used the Jack'o'Lantern stencil by Taylored Expressions and Distress    Oxide Black Soot.

Then stampe the Ghoulish Greetings Background by MFT over the whole piece of cardstock using LawnFawn's white Yeti ink. Since I had used Distress Oxides for the pumpkins the white got toned down on the pumkins a bit and the text isn't taking all the attention.

Ich wollte einen Text für meine Karte, der aber nicht den kompletten Kürbishintergrund verdeckt. Deswegen habe ich ein Boo aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics ein wenig schattiert. Außerdem habe ich es mit Icicle Crackle Paste von Ranger überzogen. Das ist aus der Holidays Reihe und reißt nicht nur, sondern hat auch einen ganz dezenten Schimmer.

Das Wort habe ich mit 3D Tape auf eine Sprechblase (aus dem Comic Speech Bubbles Stanzenset von WhimsyStamps), die ich aus Vellum gestanzt  habe, aufgeklebt. Darunter habe ich einen Streifen weißen Cardstocks, auf den ich mit brauner Tinte ein Hello Pumpkin aus dem Stempelset Itty Bitty Boos von MFT aufgestempelt habe, aufgeklebt. Auch die Sprechblase samt Texten habe ich mit 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar goldene Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt.

I wanted a text for my card but didn't want to cover too much of the pumpkin background. So I've die cut a Boo from white cardstock and shaded it a bit with my Copics. I also covered it with the Icicle Crackle Paste by Ranger, that comes in their holiday's series. Not only does is crack but it also has a very subtle shimmer.

I used foam tape to glue the word onto a speech bubble from the Comic Speech Bubbles die set by WhimsyStamps, that I had cut from  vellum. Under it I added a white cardstock strip, onto which I stamped the words Hello Pumpkin from the Itty Bitty Boo stamp set by MFT, using brown ink. Again I used foam tape to glue the speech bubble onto the card.

In the end I added a few golden diamonds to my card.

Jetzt haben wir,wie jedes Jahr, auch zu diesem Geburtstag eine extra Anleitung für Euch. Zu unserem heutigen 12. Geburtstag zeigen wir Euch die Lift and Reveal Gift Box.

We're continueing with the celebration of the birthday of  Stempeleinmaleins. This morning we already shared a bingo chart.  But as every year we also have an extra tutorial for you. For our 12th birthday we show you the Lift and Reveal Gift Box.

Und ja, auch wenn heute der Stempeleinmaleins-Geburtstag ist - es ist auch Halloween! Und ich musste einfach nochmal meine "gruselige" Seite ausleben.

And yes, even if it's Stempeleinmaleins' birthday today - it's also Halloween! And I just had to go with my "scary" side again.

Ich habe meine Box aus dunkel-kraftfarbenem Cardstock gewerkelt. Dann habe ich jede Seite mit weißem Cardstock beklebt, den ich zuvor mit Distress Ink Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire und Black Soot eingefärbt habe. Auch ein paar Wassertropfen durften darauf nicht fehlen. Außerdem habe ich einen Rahmen mit einem silbernen Glitter-Gelpen aufgemalt.

Das ist die Vorderseite der Box. Ich habe zwei Magnete eingearbeitet, die die Box geschlossen halten. 

Hier vorne hab ich ein "öffne, wenn Du Dich traust" Label von SU angebracht. Ich habe es in hellem grün coloriert, so als würde es ein wenig leuchten. 

Und wem das als Abschreckung noch nicht reicht, für den habe ich noch die geniale Tarantel von Clearly Besotted mit angebracht.

I made my box from a dark craft colored cardstock. Onto each side I glued a piece of white cardstock that I inked up with Distress Ink Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot before glueing it down. I also added a few droplets of water and drew a frame with a silver glitter gel pen onto each panel.

This is the front of the box. I've used two magnets to hold the box closed.

Here I glued a "open if you dare" sign by SU onto the flap. I've colored it with a very light green, wanting it to look like it's glowing.

And just in case this isn't enough to keep anyone from opening the box I also added this great tarantula image by Clearly Besotted to the sign.

Auf die drei geschlossenen Seiten der Box habe ich diese Augen aufgeklebt. Die habe ich schon ewig und glaube, sie waren mal von StudioG. 

Das Grün in den Augen habe ich per Hand dazugemalt - ich finde, das gibt den Augen einen fieseren Look.

Onto the three closed sides of the box I glued these eyes. I have those since forever and believe, they are by StudioG.

I added the green around the pupils to make them look even more mean.

Auf den Deckel der Box habe ich diese Einmachgläser mit diversen Füllungen geklebt. Dafür habe ich die Feeling Frightful und Frightful Fillers Stempelsets von Clearly Besotted benutzt. Ich wollte es so aussehen lassen, als könne man durch das Glas hindurch den Hintergrund sehen. Ich habe alle Motive mit Copics coloriert und dann die Gläser mit zwei Lagen klarem UTEE überzogen. Dadurch wirken sie viel echter. 

Hinter die Gläser habe ich ein Spinnennetz geklebt, das ich wieder mit dem silbernen Gelpen angemalt habe. Darauf kamen dann die Gläser, die ich mit dickem und dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt habe.

Onto the lid of the box I glued these jars with different fillings. I used the Feeling Frightful and Frightful Fillers stamp sets by Clearly Besotted here. I wanted it to look like you can see the background through the jars. I colored all images with Copics and then added two layers of clear UTEE onto the jars. That makes them look way more real.

Behind the jars I glued a spider web that I covered with some of the silver glitter gel pen again. Then I glued the jars on top, using thin and thick dimensionals.

Und Überraschung - das erscheint, wenn man die Box öffnet.

Um den zweiten Magneten zu verstecken, habe ich einen Happy Halloween Text innen auf die Klappe am Deckel angebracht. Ich habe einen Streifen Cardstock wieder mit Distress Ink eingefärbt und dann den Text aus dem Itty Bitty Boos Stempelset von MFT weiß darauf embosst.

And surprise - this is what you get when you dare to open the box.

To hide the second magnet I added a Happy Halloween text to the back of the flap. I inked up a strip of white cardstock with Distress Inks again, then white heat embossed the text from the Itty Bitty Boos stamp set by MFT onto it.

In der Box befindet sich eine weitere "halbe" Box, die sich aufdreht, wenn man den Deckel der äußeren Box öffnet. 

Auch den habe ich aus dunkel kraftfarbenem Cardstock gewerkelt, für etwas mehr Farbe aber mit orangefarbenem Designpapier beklebt. Das ist zweiseitig - auf der einen Seite hat es schwarze Punkte, auf der anderen befinden sich kleine Gespenster sowie das Wort Boo. Ich habe das gepunktete Papier jeweils auf die dreieckigen Teile der inneren Box geklebt, das mit den Gespenstern auf die beiden größeren quadratischen Flächen. Die Ränder habe ich jeweils mit Distress Ink Black Soot ein wenig eingefärbt.

Inside the box there's another "half" box, that appears when you lift the flap of the outer box.

Also this inner box is made from dark craft colored cardstock. For a touch of color I used some orange patterened paper to decorate it. This is a doublesided sheet of paper - there are small black dots on one side and white ghosts and the boo on the other side. I glued the dotted paper onto the triangle shaped pieces, the one with the thosts onto the two bigger square areas. I also used Distress Ink Black Soot to ink up the edges a bit.

Natürlich ist die Box auch gefüllt - und passend zu meiner Deko außen auf der Box, auf der ja doch das ein odere andere Auge enthalten ist, habe ich hier zwei Kaugummi-Augen verwendet. Damit die beim Schließen der Box nicht nach unten fallen, sind sie mit einem Stück schwarzen Twine an der inneren Box befestigt.

Of course the box is filled - and matching the decoration on the outside of the box, where there are quite a few eyeballs visible, I filled my box with those bubblegum eyes. To keep them from falling into the box when the lid is closed they are tied to the inner box with a piece of black twine.

Es ist wieder soweit - das Stempeleinmaleins feiert Geburtstag! Und zu unserem 12. Geburtstag wird es gleich drei Posts auf dem Blog geben. Darum startet dieser hier auch zu einer ungewohnten Zeit. Los geht es mit einer Bingo Chart. Und wir vom Team haben auch einige Inspirationskarten für Euch danach gewerkelt.

It's that time again - Stempeleinmaleins is celebrating its birthday! For our 12th birthday today we have prepared three posts on the blog. That's also why this one is up so early. We start with a Bingo Chart. And of course we from the team made some cards to inspire you.

Ich habe mich für eine Dreier-Reihe entschieden, die aus "Schleifenband - Herbst/Halloween - Embossingpulver" besteht und danach diese Karte gemacht. Ich hatte noch ein paar unbenutzte Halloween Produkte, einige davon durften dann auf dieser Karte noch zum Einsatz kommen. 

Im Hintergrund habe ich giftgrünen Cardstock zugeschnitten und von außen her ein wenig mit Distress Ink Mowed Lawn gewischt. Dann habe ich etwas von dem Distress Mica Spray Stain Tree Lot, einer der Farben aus dem Holiday Set #1, darüber gespritzt.

Den Aufleger habe ich mit der Chevron Cover-Up Stanze aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und auf den getrockneten Hintergrund geklebt.

Ich habe als Schleifenband ein Stück weißes Baumwollband genommen, ein wenig Distress Oxide Frayed Burlap darauf aufgetragen und dann die Ränder etwas ausgefranst und eingerissen. So passt es super zum Mumienmotiv auf meiner Karte. Das Band hab ich dann mehrfach in verschiedenen Richtungen um den Hintergrund gewickelt.

I went with a row that said "ribbon - fall/Halloween - embossing powder" to make this card. I had a few unused Halloween products in my stash and a few of them were used for this card. 

For the background I've cut a piece of bright green cardstock and inked it up from the edges with Distress Ink Mowed Lawn. Then I spritzed some of the Distress Mica Spray Stain Tree Lot, one of the colors from the Holiday Set #1, over the cardstock.

For the frame I've die cut the Chevron Cover-Up die from black cardstock and glued it onto the dried green cardstock. 

As the ribbon I picked some white grosgrain ribbon and lightly brushed some Distress Oxide Frayed Burlap onto it. Then I used my fingers to tear in and fringe the edges a bit. That way it goes perfectly with the mummy image on my card. I wrapped the ribbon several times in different angles around my cardstock.

Das Motiv ist aus dem Monster Close Ups Stempelset von WhimsyStamps. Ich finde die Mumie genial! 

Ich hatte noch etwas Tafelcardstock von SU in meinem Schrank - der lag da seit bestimmt 5 Jahren. Aber hier war er genau das, was ich brauchte. Ich habe das Motiv mit Versamark Ink gestempelt und dann das Frosted Chrystal Embossingpulver von Ranger darauf verteilt. Das ist kein Embossingpulver, wie wir es gewohnt sind - es behält eine rauhe Oberfläche. Darüber kann man dann mit einer normalen Tafelkreide gehen und die Kreide anschließend mit dem Finger verwischen und so entsteht ein toller Effekt. Genau das habe ich hier gemacht. Ich habe die Kreide von den äußeren Rändern des Motivs hin zur Mitte verwischt, was gleichzeitig noch für eine Art Schattierung sorgt. 

Den Bereich mit dem Gesicht der Mumie habe ich aus dem embossten und gekreideten Motiv ausgeschnitten. Dahinter habe ich mit 3D Tape eines geklebt, das ich normal auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und mit Copics coloriert habe. So wirkt das Motiv viel "schrecklicher" - ein weißes Gesicht sah ein wenig komisch aus hier.

Ich habe das Motiv grob aus dem Tafelcardstock ausgerissen, etwas Cheesecloth dahinter gelegt und dann das Mumienmotiv mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

Die Texte sind aus dem selben Stempelset wie das Motiv. Ich habe sie mit schwarzem Cardstock auf grünen Cardstock embosst, weiß gemattet und ein wenig überlappend mit dem Motiv aufgeklebt.

The image is from the Monster Close Ups stamp set by WhimsyStamps. I just love this mummy image - and all the other monsters included in it. 

I had some chalkboard cardstock by SU left over in my stahs - think it has been sitting there since at least 5 years. But here it was exactly what I needed. I stamped the image onto it with Versamark ink and then covered it with the Frosted Crystal embossing powder by Ranger. It's not an embossing powder like we're used to - after embossing it has some kind of a sandy surface. You can add some chalk over it, just the one they use in schools (actually, do they still use it?). Then you can smudge the chalk with your fingers  to create a special effect. That's what I did here. When smudging the chalk I swiped it from the outer edges toward to center to also create some kind of shading in the image.

I've cut out the area with the mummy's face from the black cardstock and glued one behind it that I had stamped with black ink onto white cardstock and then colored with my Copics. I used dimensionals to glue it behind the black cardstock. This way the image looks much scarier - the white face kind of looked strange.

I've torn the cardstock around the image, put some cheesecloth behind it and then glued the mummy image onto the background with foam tape.

The texts are from the same stamp set as the image. I black heat embossed them onto green cardstock, matted them white and glued them down, slightly overlapping the image.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 30. Oktober 2021

Wie jeden letzten Samstag im Monat haben wir auch heute einen Sketch für Euch beim Stempeleinmaleins. Und das ist meine Karte danach. Ja, ich weiß, schon wieder Halloween.... ;)

Hello everyone!

As every last saturday of the month we are sharing a new sketch with you over at the Stempeleinmaleins Blog today. And this is the card I made. I know, another Halloween one.... ;)

Der Sketch hat eigentlich oben mittig eine Wolke, aus der Herzen fallen. Ich habe ihn auf den Kopf gedreht und durch den Hexenkessel mit den aufsteigenden Blubberblasen dargestellt. Die anderen Elemente habe ich dann dem Sketch entsprechend darumherum angeordnet. 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich weißen Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire und Black Soot gewischt. Darauf habe ich ein paar Wassertropfen verteilt und anschließend die Sterne mit der Glow in the Dark Paste von LawnFawn und einem Stencil aufgetragen. Die leuchten wirklich klasse im Dunkeln - leider habe ich davon kein Foto für Euch gemacht. 

Im Hintergrund habe ich dann mit der Stitched Trees Border von LawnFawn die kahlen Bäume aus dunkelgrauem Cardstock gestanzt und quer über den Hintergrund geklebt. Darauf kam dann der Spooky Fence.

Oben am Himmel habe ich einen Mond aus dem Stempelset Happy Howloween angebracht - es muss für Halloween ja nicht immer Vollmond sein, oder? Und oben rechts in die Ecke der Karte, oben auf den Rahmen, habe ich ein Spinnennetz aufgeklebt. Das ist mit der Build a House Halloween Add-On Stanze von LawnFawn aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, dann habe ich es mit einem silbern-glitzernden Gelpen ein wenig angemalt. 

The sketch has  a cloud with hearts falling out of it drawn in the top center. I turned it upside down and used the cauldron with the bubbles instead. Then I added the other elements according to their place in the sketch.

For the background I've inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. Then I spritzed some water onto it and added the stars using the Glow in the Dark Paste by LawnFawn and a stencil. Those really glow wonderfully in the dark, I just didn't think of taking a picture of the glow...

Across the card I glued the hillls with the bare trees, cut from dark grey cardstock with the Stitched Tree Border die by LawnFawn. On top of it I added a Spooky Fence Border.

To the sky I've added a moon from the Happy Howloween stamp set - it doesn't always have a to be a full moon for Halloween, right? And in the top right corner I've glued a spider web from the Build a House Halloween Add-On die set. I've die cut it from white cardstock and then put a layer of a silver glitter gelpen on top.

 

 Die Motive sind fast alle aus den Stempelset Purrfectly Wicked und Purrfectly Wicked Add-On. Nur der Geist ist aus dem Set Booyah. Dem habe ich einen Hut von Clearly Besotte verpasst. Alle Motive sind mit Copics coloriert, den grünen Trank im Kessel und die Blubberblasen, einige davon sowie auch die geplatzen sind aus dem Set Bubbles of Joy, habe ich mit klarem Glitzer überzogen. 

Den beiden Katzen habe ich beim Colorieren ein paar Details hinzugefügt - wie z. B. den Mumienschwanz der Katze rechts. Die fängt die herunterlaufenden Tropfen des Hexentrankes ein - und wie es sich gehört, trägt sie dabei eine Schutzmaske!

Die beiden Geister, die noch auf der Karte unterwegs sind, habe ich aus Vellum gestanzt, von hinten leicht grün coloriert und auf die Karte geklebt. Und aus Vellum sind auch die Nebelschwaden, die ich mit der Cloud Cover Stanze von MFT gemacht habe.

Vor dem Kessel und der rechten Katze verläuft dann eine Lage Gras, ebenfalls aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt, über die Karte.

The images are mostly from the Purrfectly Wicked and Purrfectly Wicked Add-On stamp sets. Only the ghost is from the Booyah set. I gave him a hat by Clearly Besotted. I colored all images with Copics and covered the green potion inside the cauldron and the bubbles - some of those and also the already bursted ones are from the Bubbles of Joy stamp set - with some clear glitter.

While coloring them in I added a few details to the cats - like the mummy cloth around the tail of the cat on the right. This one's catching the overflow of the potion, and just because this is a dangerous task she's wearing a mask.

The two ghosts, that are floating on the card, are die cut from vellum. I colored them with light greens and then glued them onto the card. I also used vellum to die cut the fog using the Cloud Cover die by MFT.

In front of the cauldron and the cat on the right I glued down a layer of grass, also die cut from black cardstock.

Als letzes Lage habe ich dann den Rahmen mit dem großen Baum aufgeklebt. Ich habe ihn aus schwarzem Cardstock mit der Leafy Tree  Backdrop Landscape Stanze aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und aufgeklebt. Ich mag es, wenn ein kompletter Rahmen um eine Szene herum ist.

Die Katze links habe ich dann oben auf den Rahmen geklebt.

Zum Schluss fehlte noch ein Text. Dafür habe ich einen der Stempel aus dem Itty Bitty Boos Stempelset von MFT weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und quer über den Baum geklebt.

As the top layer I added a frame with a big bare tree. I've die cut it with the Leafy Tree Backdrop Landscape die from black cardstock and glued it down. I like to have a complete frame around a scene, it seems to bring it all together.

I glued the cat on the left on top of the frame.

In the end I only needed a sentiment. I white heat embossed one of the stamps from the Itty Bitty Boos stamp set by MFT onto black carstock and then glued it across the tree.

Halloween-Goodies im Sarg

Heute zeige ich Euch die Halloween-Überraschungen, die ich für meine Kolleginnen in der Arbeit gemacht habe. Okay, ich habe nur eines davon fotografiert, aber das reicht ja.

Today I am sharing the Halloween treats I made for my co-workers. Okay, I made more than just the one I took a picture of, but they were all identically.

Ich habe eine kleine Box in Sargform gemacht. Die habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock gewerkelt und nach dem Zusammenkleben habe ich ein weißes Stempelkissen an die Ränder gedrückt. 

Um die Box verschlossen zu halten, habe ich ein Stück graues Twine längs um die Box gewickelt und vorne zu einer kleinen Schleife gebunden.

I made a coffin shaped box from black cardstock, after putting it together I pressed a white ink pad onto the edges of the box.

To keep it closed, I wrapped a piece of grey twine around the box lengthwise and tied it to a bow at the bottom area.

Den Deckel der Box habe ich ein wenig dekoriert. 

Im Hintergrund befindet sich ein Spinnennetz in Form des Sarges. Das habe ich mit einer Stanze gemacht, die ich vor Jahren mal bekommen habe. Von wem sie ist, weiß ich leider nicht mehr. Aber die habe ich von Form und Größe her als Grundlage für meine Box genutzt.

In der Mitte habe ich dann einen Grusel-Kürbis aufgeklebt. Dafür habe ich die Jack'o'Lanterns Stanzen von MFT benutzt. Ich habe den Kürbis einmal aus orangefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und aus diesem dann eines der drei Gesichter im Set. Hinter diesen Kürbis habe ich dann einen ganzen Kürbis aus gelbem Holografik-Cardstock geklebt, der nun durch das Gesicht erkennbar ist. Den orangefarbenen Kürbis habe ich mit Copics ein wenig schattiert und auch in den Aussparungen für das Gesicht ein paar dunkle Linien gesetzt.

Den Strunk des Kürbis habe ich aus schwarzem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt, außerdem habe ich mit einer Efeu-Stanze noch ein Blatt mit Schnörkel aus demselben Cardstock gestanzt und mit aufgeklebt.

Der Text ist aus dem Itty Bitty Boss Stempelset von MFT und schwarz auf orangefarbenen Cardstock gestempelt. Außerdem habe ich ihn nach dem Zuschneiden ebenfalls mit dem schwarzen Glittercardstock hinterlegt.

Alle Teile sind jeweils mit dünnem 3D Tape aufeinander geklebt, hinter den Kürbis habe ich noch etwas goldfarbenen Faden in Schlaufen gelegt angebracht.

I decorated the lid of the box.

In the background I added a spiderweb in the shape of the box. I've die cut that with a dies that I got several years ago. I don't remember who it was made by. But I used it's size and shape to create the coffin shaped box.

In the center I glued down a Jack'o'Lantern. I used the Jack'o'Lanterns die set by MFT to die cut it. I cut it once from orange cardstock and then cut one of the three faces in the set from this pumpkin. Behind this I glued  a complete pumpkin, die cut from golden holografic cardstock which now can be seen through the face cut outs. I shaded the orange cardstock with my Copics and also added a few dark lines within the face cut outs.

I die cut the stem from black glitter cardstock and also added a flourish and a leave, cut from the same cardstock. 

The text ist from the Itty Bitty Boss stamp set by MFT and stamped onto orange cardstock with black ink. After cutting it into pieces I also matted it with the black glitter cardstock.

All parts are glued on top of each other with thin foam tape, behing the Jack'o'Lantern I added some fine golden yarn.

Der Deckel der Box lässt sich nach hinten aufklappen - und da kommt die Überraschung zu Tage: es springt einem als Hexe verkleideter Flamingo entgegen! 

Wir sind alle gerade ein wenig im Flamingo-Fieber, deswegen war dieses tolle Motiv von Stampcorner einfach perfekt für meine kleinen Boxen!

The lid of the box is attached at the top edge and can be opened up - and then the surprise gets shown: a flamingo dressed as a witch pops up!

We're all a little in a flamingo fever right now so this great image by Stampcorner was just perfect for these treat boxes!

Ich habe den Flamingo mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Den Hut habe ich ein wenig beglittert. Dann habe ich ihn auf einen Streifen Folie geklebt, der beim Verschließen der Box nach hinten umgebogen wird. Durch die Steifheit der Folie, springt er nach dem Öffnen wieder in eine aufrechte Position und der Flamingo steht aufrecht da.

Von hinten habe ich noch ein Boo gegen den Streifen geklebt. Das habe ich mit den Buchstaben aus dem Cherry Alphabet von CreateASmile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Da die Breite meiner Box begrenzt ist, habe ich bei dem mittleren O nur die schmale innere Ouline-Linie benutzt. So passt das Wort prima mit in die Box.

Unter den geschredderten Papierstreifen in der Box war natürlich noch etwas Süßes verborgen!

I colored the flamingo with Copics and cut it out. I added some glitter to the hat. Then I glued the flamingo onto a strip of acetate that gets bend down when the box is closed. Since the acetate is pretty stiff it jumps back into an upright position after the lid is opened and so the flamingo-witch is standing upright as well.

Behind the flamingo I glued the word boo, attaching it to the back of the acetate strip. I've die cut it from white cardstock using the Cherry Alphabet die set by CreateASmile. Since the space for the letters was pretty narrow, I used the thin inner outlines of the O for the middle letter and so the word fit into the box perfectly.

Of course there was some candy hidden underneath the shredded paper that I used to fill the box.

Pumpkin Spice Season

In ein paar Tagen ist der Oktober schon vorbei - und mit ihm geht auch der goldene Herbst. Im November ist es ja doch meist eher neblig. Und dabei habe ich dem Pumpkin Spice noch gar nicht gehuldigt! Ich liebe Pumpkin Spice - am besten in allem, am liebsten aber natürlich als Pumpkin Spice Latte. Und der hat mich auch zu dieser Karte inspiriert, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige.

October will be over in just a few days - and with it also golden fall will come to an end. November here is quite foggy usually. And I still haven't made a pumpkin spice related card! I love pumpkin spice - I can put it on nearly everything. But of course my absolute favorite is pumpkin spice latte. And it was that that inspired me to make this card, that I'm sharing over at the Stampcorner Blog today. 

Für den Rahmen habe ich die Lots of Leaves Cover-Up Stanze von MFT benutzt. Ich habe sie einmal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und dann mit Distress Oxide Crackling Campfire, Candied Apple und Ground Espresso gewischt. Anschließend kamen ein paar Spritzer goldener Metallic-Watercolor darüber. Aber irgendwie sah der Rahmen zu fad aus. Deshalb habe ich den Blätterrahmen noch einmal aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt. Da die Stanze oben und unten fast deckungsgleich ist, habe ich das rote Stanzteil "mit dem Gesicht nach unten" gedreht. Dadurch sieht man zwar die eingestanzten Linien nicht mehr so toll, da aber der gewischte Rahmen obendrauf kam, finde ich das nicht schlimm. 

Beide Rahmen habe ich mit 3D Tape aufeinander geklebt und dann auch mit 3D Tape auf das Designpapier im Hintergrund.

Zum Schluss habe ich ein paar goldene Pailetten auf dem Rahmen verteilt.

For the frame I used the Lots of Leaves Cover-Up die by MFT. I've die cut it once from white cardstock and then inked it up with Distress Oxide Crackling Campfier, Candied Apple and Ground Espresso. I also just had to sprinkle some golden metallic watercolor on top. But the frame still looked a bit lost. So I've die cut it again from red cardstock. Since the top and bottom of the die are very similar I turned the red die cut "face down". You can't see the lines cut into the leaves that clearly anymore, but since I put the inked frame on top I didn't bother. 

I glued both frames on top of each other with dimensionals and then used more dimensionals to glue them onto the patterned paper.

In the end I added a few golden sequins to the frames.

Als Motiv für diese Karte habe ich den Elefanten aus dem neuen Elefanten-Set von Stampcorner verwendet, der es bisher noch nicht auf eine Karte geschafft hatte. 

Ich habe ihn mit Copics coloriert. Da weder ein grauer noch ein blauer Elefant wirklich zu meinem Hintergrund gepasst hätte, habe ich meinen Elefanten mit einer Mischung aus W-Tönen und E7...-Tönen coloriert. So passt er super, finde ich.

Apropos Hintergrund: ich habe hier einen der Bögen aus dem Paper Pack 03 von Stampcorner benutzt. Es hat einen tollen Kaffeetassen und -gläser Aufdruck. Es war aber kein Papier im Pack, das farblich zu 100 % zu meinen Rahmen gepasst hätte - und die dunkelbraunen finde ich klasse, sie waren aber viel zu dunkel für meine Karte. Deswegen habe ich einen milchkaffeefarbenen Bogen verwendet und ganz leicht Distress Oxide Crackling Campfire darüber gewischt. So passt er farblich viel besser und auch der Druck ist nicht mehr so dominant.

Zurück zum Elefanten: Ich denke, eigentlich hat er sich ein Handtuch umgewickelt. Aber Pumpkin Spice Latte und Kuscheldecke gehören für mich unbedingt zusammen. Also habe ich das Handtuch in eine karierte Decke verwandelt. Ich habe sie braun coloriert und dann mit einem goldenen Gelpen von Sakura die Rauten aufgemalt. Die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelpen gemacht.

Nun fehlte meiner Karte noch ein Text. Das Wort autumn ist aus dem Stempelset Scripty Autumn Sentiments von LawnFawn. Ich habe es mit weißem Embossingpulver auf dunkelbraunen Cardstock embosst und ausgeschnitten. Da die Linien nach dem Ausschneiden schön dünn waren, konnte ich das Wort ein wenig gebogen auf den Hintergrund aufkleben.

Der Rest des Textes ist eine Kombination aus Stempeln von MFT und LawnFawn. Das "is the season of" ist aus dem Stempelset Autumn Blessings von MFT. Eigentlich lautet der text "fall is the best season of all". Aber durch nur teilweises Abstempeln der einzelnen Worte konnte ich ihn so passend stempeln, dass das Pumpkin Spice aus dem Stempelset Pumpkin Spice von LawnFawn den Satz auf meiner Karte sinnvoll ergänzt. 

As the image I used the one elephant from the new elephant stamp set by Stampcorner, that I hadn't used on a card so far.

I colored him in with Copics. And since neither a grey nor a blue elephant would have worked with my background I used a mixed of Ws and E7...s. I think now the color is perfect.

Talking about backgrounds: I used a sheet from one of Stampcorner's paper packs here. It has a great coffee mugs and cups pattern. But there wasn't a sheet in the pack that would have fit the color of my frame totally - and I though a very dark brown was just too hard for this card. So I used a milk coffee colored sheet and put a thin layer of Distress Oxide Crackling Campfire on top. Now the color goes way better with my leaves and also the pattern isn't that bright anymore.

Back to the elephant: I think, he has a towel wrapped around him. But Pumpkin Spice Latte and a cozy blanket just belong together in my world! So I turned the towel into a blanket. I colored it brown and used a golden gel pen by Sakura to add the golden lines. The highlights are added with a white gel 

pen. 

Now my card was missing a sentiment. The word autumn is from the Scripty Autumn Sentiments stamp set by LawnFawn. I white heat embossed it onto some dark brown cardstock, then cut it out. Since the cardstock lines were pretty thin after I've cut the word out, I was able to glue it down a bit curved.

The rest of the text is made with a combination of stamps by MFT and LawnFawn. The "is the season of" is from the Autumn Blessings stamp set by MFT. The stamp originally reads "fall is the best season of all". But with stamping only part of the text, moving my paper and stamping the rest I was able to create a sentence, that's finished by Pumpkin Spice. This is stamped with a stamp from the Pumpkin Spice stamp set by LawnFawn.

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

 Heute habe ich eine Geburtstagskarte zu zeigen. Sie ist für eine Freundin entstanden. Die ist sehr sportlich und hatte sich ein Set besonderer Hanteln gewünscht. Die habe ich gleich in der Karte integriert. Und ihr Nachname ist Bär - da war ja klar, was ich für ein Motiv verwende! Ein DT Mitglied bei LawnFawn hatte bereits letztes Jahr eine interaktive Karte mit dem Bären und den Hanteln gemacht. Zumindest diese Idee habe ich dann ebenfalls umgesetzt - das Drumrum auf meiner Karte ist aber komplett anders. Da der Geburtstag im Oktober ist/war, habe ich den Bären in eine Herbstszene gesetzt. Dann noch ein besonderer Text dazu - persönlicher geht es fast nicht, oder?

Today I have a birthday card to share with you. I made it for a friend. She's very sportive and asked for a set of special dumbbells. And I included those on the card. Well, her last name is Bär, which is the german word for bear - and that made it clear which image I wanted to use! One of LawnFawn's DT members already made an interactive card with the bear and the dumbbells a year ago. I picked up that idea but completly changed the design of the card. Since her birthday is/was in october I placed the bear into a nice fall scene. Well, add a special text to that - you can't make a card any more personal, I think.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Antique Linen, Tea Dye, Abandoned Coral, Candied Apple und Aged Mahogany gewischt. Dann habe ich goldene Schimmer-Watercolor darüber gespritzt. 

For the background I've inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Antique Linen, Tea Dye, Abandoned Coral, Candied Apple and Aged Mahogany. Then I sprinkled some golden shimmer watercolor over it.

Im Hintergrund befinden sich erst zwei Lagen der Stitched Tree Borders von LawnFawn, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock, davor eine dunkelgrüne Lage Gras.

Als nächstes habe ich die Leafy Tree Backdrop Portrait Stanze aus dunkelbraunem Cardstock gestanzt, den Baum ein wenig mit Copics und einem weißen Gelpen schattiert und den Rahmen aufgeklebt. Davor kam eine weitere Lage Gras, gestanzt aus einem etwas heller grünen Cardstock. 

Auf dieser zweiten Graslage steht der Bär mit seinen Hanteln. Der Bär ist aus dem Set Snow much Fun, die Hanteln aus dem Set Plan on It. Und da die Freundin immer Tank-Shirts trägt - sogar im Winter! - habe ich dem Bären auch noch eines angezogen. Auch der Bär ist mit Copics coloriert.

Vor dem Baum stehen zwei Pilze, gemacht mit der Mushroom Border Stanze. Die habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Außerdem liegt dort noch ein Blätterhaufen, für den ich einen Stempel aus dem Set You Autumn Know verwendet habe.

Rechts neben dem Bären wachsen zwei Sonnenblumen - die sind aus dem Stempelset Happy Harvest. Auch ein dritter Pilz ist dort zu finden.

Onto the background I glued two layers of hills with bare trees, die cut with the Stitched Tree Borders from black Cardstock, then I added a layer of grass cut from dark green cardstock.

Next I die cut the Leafy Tree Backdrop Portrait die from dark brown cardstock, added some details to the tree with Copics and a white gelpen and then glued the frame down. In front of it I added another layer of grass, this time cut from a slightly lighter tone of green.

On this second layer of grass the bear is standing. The bear is from the Snow much Fun set, the dumbbells from the Plan on It set. And since said friend always wears tank tops - even in winter! - I dressed my bear with one of those. Also the bear is colored with Copics.

I added two mushrooms to the bottom of the tree. Those were die cut from white cardstock with the mushroom border die, then colored with Copics. I also added a pile of fallen leaves there that I used a stamp from the You Autumn Know stamp set for.

To the right of the bear there are two sunflowers - those are from the Happy Harvest stamp set. And there's also a third mushroom there.

Oben an den Baum habe ich ein paar Blätter, die noch nicht heruntergefallen sind, gehängt. Sie sind mit einem Stempel aus dem Happy Harvest Set gemacht und ich habe sie erst mit gelber Tinte gestempelt und dann nur die Ränder der Blätter noch mit brauner Tinte eingefärbt und deckungsgleich darüber gestempelt. So bekommen die Blätter eine tolle Herbstfärbung.

Irgendwie fehlte mir noch ein Geburtstagselement. Deswegen habe ich eine Krähe, ebenfalls aus dem Set Happy Harvest, in die Zweige gesetzt und ihr zwei kleine Luftballons aus dem Plan on It Stempelset in den Schnabel gegeben.

Dann kam mir die Idee zu dem Text. Dafür habe ich Stempel aus dem Set Offset Sayings Birthday von LawnFawn mit einem Teil eines Stempels aus dem  Set Bären von Stampcorner kombiniert. Und so steht da Happy Bärthday, was ja wieder perfekt passt. Der Text ist weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst, unten neben die Sonnenblumen habe ich noch ein to you aufgeklebt.

To the branches of the tree I added a few leaves that haven't fallen off yet. I stamped those with yellow ink first, using a stamp from the Happy Harvest stamp set. Then I inked up just the edges of the stamp again and stamped it on top to get some beautiful fall leaves. 

I thought, my card needed a little element that was birthday related. So I sat a crow, also from the Happy Harvest stamp set, into the branches and gave it two little balloons from the Plan on It stamp set to hold in its beak. 

Well, for the text I combined some stamps from the Offset Sayings Birthday stamp set by LawnFawn with a Bär-word from Stampcorner. Bär is the german word for bear, as mentioned above, and is also pronounced similar to the "bir" in birthday. So even the saying totally fits her. I white heat embossed it onto black cardstock and added a "to you" next to the sunflowers at the bottom of the card.

Zieht man am Tab oben an der Karte, fängt der Bär fleißig das trainieren an. 

Für den Mechanismus habe ich das Waving Pull Tab Stanzenset von LawnFawn benutzt. Damit der Bär weit genug unten auf meiner Karte stehen konnte, habe ich den Zieh-Arm ein wenig verlängert. Im Video scheint der Mechanismus ein wenig zu haken, das ist aber nicht so. Ich habe mein Handy beim Filmen von kurzen Videos auf einem recht wackeligen Ständer, und dessen Fuß befand sich genau hinter meiner Hand. Ich hatte also nicht viel Bewegungsfreiheit, denn hätte ich den Fuß berührt, wäre das ganze Video verwackelt gewesen...

When you pull the tab at the top of the card, the bear starts his training. 

For the mechanism I used the Waving Pull Tab die set by LawnFawn. To be able to glue the bear further down towards the bottom I made the pull tab a bit larger with partial die cutting. The mechanism seems to work a bit hard in the video, but that's not the case. I put my cellphone onto a quite instable foot when I do short videos. And the stand of this was right behind my hand. So I had to be careful and didn't have much room to move my hand - if I had touched the stand the whole video would have been shaky...

Ich bastle gerne Karten - und viele. Nun, es wäre nicht schlecht, wenn ich dann auch dran denken würde, sie abzuschicken... Kartenmachen und Kartenverschicken sind scheinbar auch zwei unterschiedliche Hobbies. Und so brauchte ich mal wieder eine Karte für verspätete Geburtstagsglückwünsche. Und diese Karte zeige ich heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog.

 

Hello everyone!

I love card making - and I make lots of them. Well, it wouldn't hurt to remember when to send one out! Seems like making and mailing cards are two different hobbies.  And so I needed another card to send belated birthday wishes. I am sharing this said card today over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog. 

Für die Karte habe ich ein Stück hellblaues Designpapier mit kleinen weißen Punkten genommen und die Ränder ein wenig mit Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Broken China und einem Hauch Black Soot gewischt. 

Das Designpapier habe ich dann schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

For this card I used  a piece of light blue designer's paper with a pattern of tiny white dots and then inked up the edges a bit with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Broken China and a hint of Black Soot. I matted the panel with black cardstock and glued both layers onto a white note card.

Auf das Designpapier habe ich ein paar einzelne Wolken aus dem Stempelset Fox and Friends von MFT mit weißem Embossingpulver aufembosst. Mit einem blauen Marker, der ein wenig dunkler ist als die Grundfarbe meines Designpapieres, habe ich Schatten direkt and die weiß embossten Linien gemalt, in die Wolke habe ich mit einem weißen Gelpenein paar schraffirte Schatten gemalt.

Die tollen Luftballons aus dem Stempelset Balloon Bouquet von MFT waren perfekt, um in meinem gepunkteten Himmel zu schweben. Ich habe sie mit schwarzem Embossingpulver auf weißen Cardstock embosst und anschließend mit Copics in Gelb, Orange und Braun coloriert. Anschließend habe ich die Ballons mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt. 

I white heat embossed a few single clouds from the Fox and Friends stamp set by MFT onto the patterned paper. I used a blue marker, that's just a bit darker than the color of the dotted paper, to add some shadows behind my clouds. And with a white gel pen I added a few small lines to the inside of the clouds to add some kind of shadow. 

The great balloons from the Balloon Bouquet stamp set by MFT were perfect to float in my dotted sky. I black heat embossed the image and then colored it in with my Copics using yellows, oranges and browns. The I cut out the image with the matching die. 

Quer über den unteren Teil des Motives habe ich ein ausgestanztes Hello geklebt. Das habe ich dreimal mit der Little Hello Stanze aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und alle Teile aufeinander geklebt. Um das mittlere L habe ich noch eine kleine Schleife aus hellblau-weißem Twine gebunden. 

Unter das Hello kam ein Text, der ebenfalls aus dem Balloon Bouquet Stempelset ist. Auch er ist weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst, anschließend habe ich ihn mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

An das untere Ende eines der Schnüre habe ich dann noch einen Brief gehängt. Der ist mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Mailbox Stanzenset aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe ihn ein wenig mit Copics coloriert und dann noch eine winzige, herzförmige Pailette darauf geklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar glänzende weiße Halbperlen auf der Karte verteilt.

Across the lower part of the image I glued a die cut Hello. I've die cut it three times from black cardstock using the Little Hello die and than stacked all three die cut on top of each other. Around the middle L I wrapped a piece of blue and white twine and tied it to a bow.

Under the Hello I added a text, also from the Balloon Bouquet stamp set. I white heat embossed it onto a strip of black cardstock, then glued it onto the card with thin foam tape.

To the end of one of the strings I added a letter. It's die cut from white cardstock using one of the dies form the Mailbox die set. I lightly colored it in with my Copics and added a tiny heart shaped sequin to it. 

In the end I added a few shiny white pearls over the card.

LawnFawnatics Challenge #111

Die aktuelle LawnFawnatics Challenge #111 trägt das Thema "coffee, tea and treats". Das ist wunderbar vielseitig - trotzdem hat meine Karte schon einen weihnachtlichen bzw. winterlichen Touch. So langsam komme ich rein in das Thema...

Hello everyone!

The current LawnFawnatics Challenge #111 is called "coffee, tea and treats". This is a wonderfully versatile theme - but my card definately has a christmas-sy or winter-y touch. Slowly I am getting into it... 

Ich habe hier den Peppermint Stripes Backdrop von LawnFawn einmal aus weißem und einmal aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt. Das weiße Stanzteil habe ich mit kraftfarbenem Cardstock hinterlegt - der hier blöderweise genau die Farbe meines Foto-Hintergrunds hat - und habe dann die schmalen Streifen aus dem roten Stanzteil in das weiße eingesetzt.

Aus dem roten Stanzteil habe ich alle übriggebliebenen Streifen ausgeschnitten und den so entstandenen roten Rahmen mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

Der rote Rahmen sah nach dem Aufkleben der Motive irgendwie zu hart aus. Deswegen habe ich die Zweige aus dem Christmas Garland Set aus rotem und craftfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt, ein wenig mit Copics schattiert und oben und seitlich auf den Rahmen geklebt. Auch ein paar rote Beeren habe ich dort mit eingesetzt. Zum Schluss habe ich die überstehenden Teile der Äste weggeschnitten - die sahen sonst zu wild aus.

 

Here I've die cut the Peppermint Stripes Backdrop by LawnFawn once from white and once from red cardstock. I put some kraft colored cardstock - which seems to be the exact same color as my photo background so it kind of gets lost on the photos - behind the white die cut and then put the thin red strips from the red die cut into their places in the white background.

I cut off all the left over strips from the red die cut and glued the frame I ended up with onto the white background using thin foam tape.

The red frame looked way too hard after glueing the images down. So I've die cut the Christmas Garland from white and craft cardstock, shaded them a bit with my Copics and glued them onto the top and sides of my frame. I also added a few red berries. Then I cut off all the pieces that went over the edge - otherwise it looked really wild.

 

 Ich bin ja kein Teetrinker, aber Kaffee geht immer. Und hier durfte noch eine heiße Schokolade mit auf die Karte. Die beiden Tassen sind aus dem Stempelset Thanks a Latte. Ebenso die Füllungen in den Tassen. Die gerade und die gebogene Zuckerstange sind aus dem Set Sweet Christmas. Den aufsteigenden Dampf habe ich silbern auf  Vellum embosst und aufgeklebt.

Auf die Tassen habe ich zwei rote Herzen geklebt, die ich mit dem Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag Set gestanzt habe. Eigentlich wollte ich die auf dem Hintergrund verteilen, mich dann aber doch für hellblaue Pailetten entschieden.

Ich konnte nicht widerstehen und habe auch drei Mäuse auf meiner Karte mit untergebracht. Die, die so fröhlich hinter den Tassen hervorschaut, ist aus dem Set You Really Autumn Know. Alle Motive auf der Karte sind mit Copics coloriert.

 

I'm not a tea trinker, but I'm always in for coffee. And here on this card I also added a cup of hot chocolate. Both cups are from the Thanks a Latte stamp set, as are the images I used to fill them. The straight and arched candy canes are from the Sweet Christmas set. I silver heat embossed the steam onto some vellum and glued it down.

I glued two hearts onto the cups, that I've die cut with the Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag die set. I had planned to add several of those onto the background but then decided against them and went with some light blue sequins instead.

I just couldn't resist to add a few mice to my card. The one that's so happily pearing from behind the cups is from the You Really Autum Know Set. All images on this card are colored with Copics. 

Kaffee und Tee, bzw. heiße Schokolade, waren damit auf der Karte schon mal untergebracht. Fehlten noch die Treats!

Dafür habe ich den Apfel aus dem Caramel Apple Set in einen Schokoapfel verwandelt, die Schokokekse sind aus dem Milk and Cookies Set, die Weihnachtsplätzchen aus dem Set How you Bean? Christmas Cookie Add-On. Die Schokostreusel habe ich mit braunem Embossingpulver auf die fertig colorierten Plätzchen aufembosst. 

 Dazwischen kamen noch ein paar Marshmallows aus dem Set Thanks a Latte und ein paar Minzbonbons aus dem Set Sweet Christmas.

Und zwei weitere Mäuse durften auch mit auf die Karte. Die linke Maus ist aus dem Set You Really Autumn Know, die rechte aus dem Set Merry Mice.

Die Motive sind mit unterschiedlich dickem 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt.

So, und dann brauchte meine Karte einen Text. Ich hatte mich totoal auf "it's cold outside - let's get cozy" eingeschossen, denn einen Weihnachtstext wollte ich für diese Karte nicht. Nun, so einen Text gibt es aber nicht. Also habe ich das let's get cozy aus dem Set Winter Alpaca weiß auf hell-türkisfarbenen Cardstock embosst - und wurde dann kreativ. Die Mini-Sets Whale you be Mine und Believe in Yourself enthalten Text mit der selben Schrift in der selben Größe. Natürlich tun das noch mehr dieser Sets, aber ich dachte mir, mit Buchstaben bzw. Wortteilen dieser Sets könnte ich meinen Text doch noch wie geplant umsetzen. Das let's ist mit den Buchstaben le von whale sowie t's von it's gemacht, das get ist mit einem y und einem el gemacht, die obere Rundung des g sowie den T-Strich habe ich mit einem weißen Gelmarker hinzugefügt. Für das cozy habe ich co von cold genommen und dann wurde es richtig tricky: zy sind mit einem by von baby gemacht, den linken Teil des b habe ich wegmaskiert und anschließend wieder mit einem Gelpen ein z daraus gemacht. Ja, hier fällt es schon auf, aber es steht der richtige Text auf der Karte!

Ganz zum Schluss habe ich noch die schon erwähnten hellblauen Pailetten auf der Karte verteilt. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass die Karte noch einen kleinen Tick blau vertragen kann.

Coffee and tea, well, hot chocolate, were already on the card. So it's only missing the treats!

I turned the apple from Caramel Apple into a chocolate apple, the chocolat chip cookies are from the Milk and Cookies set, the shaped cookies from the How you Bean? Christmas Cookie Add-On set. I heat embossed the sprinkles onto those with brown embossing powder after I had done the coloring.

I added a few marshmallows from the  Thanks a Latte set and some mints from the Sweet Christmas set.

And two more mice jumped onto the card. The left one is again from the You Really Autumn Know set, the right one from the Merry Mice set.

Well, and now my card needed a text. I had my mind set on "it's cold outside - let's get cozy" since I really didn't want to add a christmas sentiment to this card. Well, there isn't such a text in any of the LawnFawn stamp sets. So I white heat embossed the it's cold outside from the Winter Alpaca stamp set onto a strip of light turuqoise cardstock and then really did some thinking outside the box. The mini stamp sets Whale you be Mine and Believe in Yourself have both texts made with the same font and same size. Well, there might be more but I was pretty sure I could put together the let's get cozy with individual letters or parts of words with these two sets. For the let's I used le from whale and t's from it's, the get is acutally made from a y and an el. I added the missing part of the g and the line across the t with a white gel pen. For the co I used the word cold again. And then it got really tricky: zy from cozy are made using the by from baby, I masked off the left part of the b and then used a gel pen again to turn it into a z. Yes, you can see that on this letter but at least I have the "right" text on my card!

In the end I added the already mentioned light blue sequins. I just felt like this card needed a little more of the blue/turquoise color.

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Beim Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch heute die Fächer-PopUp-Karte. Und bei dieser Karte steckt das Besondere - wieder mal - im Inneren.

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing an Unfolding PopUp Card. And as often what's special about this card only reveals when it's opened.

Aber erstmal zur Außenseite meiner Karte. Die ist eher einfach gehalten. Ich habe die Kartenfront mit Designpapier beklebt und einen Rahmen mit einem schwarzen Glaze Pen aufgemalt.

Die Karte wird von einer Banderole geschlossen gehalten, auf der ich ein wenig mehr Deko aufgeklebt habe. Ich habe die aus weißem Cardstock gemachte Banderole mit grau-blauem Cardstock beklebt, darauf kam ein auf schwarzen Cardstock weiß embosstes "time to" sowie ein ausgestanztes celebrate. Das ausgestanzte Wort habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock ausgestanzt und mit einigen aus weißem Cardstock gestanzten Wort hinterlegt, so dass es mehr Höhe bekommt. 

Als Deko habe ich ein paar orangefarbene Enamel Dots aufgeklebt.

But firt about the front of my card. I kept that really simple by glueing a piece of patterned paper on the front. Then I drew a frame with a black Glaze pen.

A little sleeve holds the card shut. I made that from white cardstock and glued some grey-ish blue cardstock on top of it. Then I added a white heat embossed "time to" on black cardstock and a die cut word celebrate. I die cut that from black cardstock and stacked it onto a few ones cut from white cardstock to add some height.

Onto the banner I added a few orange Enamel Dots.

Öffnet man die Karte, klappt ein Fächer im Inneren auf. An dem sind die einzelnen Teile der Innendeko befestigt.

Ich habe hier die Buchstaben HB2U für Happy Birthday to You angebracht und dabei Cardstockfarben verwendet, die auch auf dem Designpapier vorkommen. Die Buchstaben sind jeweils mit aus schwarzem Carstock gestanzten Buchstaben als Schatten hinterlegt. Außerdem habe ich zwei Kerzen und zwei Luftballons mit am Fächer befesigt.

Die Luftschlangen aus orangefarbenem Cardstock habe ich an schmalen Streifen Folie befestigt, die ich entweder an den Buchstaben oder direkt an den Fächerteilen angeklebt habe. So sieht es aus, als würden sie gerade herabfallen.

When you open the card the unfolding pop up part shows up inside. The individual elements of the decorations are attached to this "fan". 

I've die cut the letters HB2U here, using colors of cardstock that also appear on the patterned paper. The letters are shaded with ones die cut from black cardstock. I also added two candles and two balloons to the fans.

The streamers, die cut from orange cardstock, are attached to one end of thin strips of acetate. the other ends are either glued to the letters or to the fan parts. This way they seem to float in the air.

Die Karte ist ein wenig schwer zu fotografieren, aber hier habe ich noch ein weiteres Bild. 

Auf den unteren Teil der Karte habe ich noch einen Text aufgeklebt, den ich weiß auf einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstocks embosst und dann in die Karte geklebt habe.

To the lower half of the inside of the card I added another text. It's white heat embossed onto a strip of black cardstock and then glued into the card.

Die Karte zu werkeln hat wirklich viel Spaß gemacht und war viel schneller fertig als erwartet. Deswegen, und weil ich so gerne eine Halloween-Variante davon machen wollte, habe ich heute noch eine weitere dieser Karten für Euch. 

Making this card was so much fun and it also was done much quicker than I expected. Because of that, and also I really wanted to make a Halloween version of it, I have another one of these cards to share with you today:

Hier ist auch die Kartenfront etwas aufwändiger dekoriert. 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich weißen Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade und Wilted Violett so gewischt. Dann habe ich Wassertropfen, weiße Acrylfarbe und schwarze Metallic-Watercolor darüber gespritzt. 

Für die Front habe ich die Trick or Treat Stanze von Sizzix benutzt. Die Stanze ist schon älter und eigentlich ein kompletter, quadratischer Teil. Ich habe sie aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und in drei Streifen geschnitten. Dann habe ich die auf meinem Hintergrund angeordnet und den freien Streifen mit einer Zick-Zack-Bordüre gefüllt, in deren Mitte ich das "or" geklebt habe.

Die Zeilen mit dem Text habe ich ein weiteres Mal aus orangenem Holographik-Cardstock gestanzt, die Buchstaben einzeln ausgeschnitten und ein wenig nach oben versetzt auf die schwarzen Buchstaben aufgeklebt.

Die Banderole habe ich hier aus Vellum gemacht. Die Fledermaus ist ein Element des breiten Streifens mit den Spinnennetzen. Ich habe sie nochmal aus schwarzem Glittercardstock gestanzt, aus den Spinnennetzen herausgeschnitten und dann nur mit dem Körper auf dem Vellum aufgeklebt. Die Flügel habve ich ein wenig nach oben gebogen und außerdem zwei Wackelaugen aufgeklebt.

Here I also added some more decoration to the card front.

For the background I've inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Wilted Violet. Then I spritzed some drops of water, some white acrylic paint and also some black metallic watercolor over it.

For the front I used the Trick or Treat die by Sizzix. This is an quite older one and originally it cuts one complete square piece. I've die cut that from black cardstock and divided it into three strips. Then I arranged those on my background and filled the gap with a zig zag border. In the middle of that I added the word "or". 

I die cut the strips with the words again from orange holographic cardstock, cut the letters out individually and then glued them on the black letters, moving the orange ones a bit up.

Here I made the sleeve from Vellum. The bat is an element from the wider strip with the spider webs. I've die cut this again from black glimmer cardstock, cut out the bat with my scissors and then glued only the body to the sleeve. I've bend the wings up a bit and also added two googly eyes to the bat.

Und hier befindet sich eine gruselig-schöne Halloweenszene im Inneren der Karte.

Ich habe hier Designpapier mit kahlen Bäumen und Krähen benutzt, der Fächer ist hier aus schwarzem Cardstock gearbeitet.

 

Inside this card there's a spooky Halloween scene.

I used some patterned paper with bare trees and crows printed on it, the fan is made from black cardstock.

 

 Die Szene ist dekoriert mit Geistern, die ich weiß auf Vellum embosst habe, zwei Grabsteinen, einer Kürbislaterne, einem Totenkopf mit Knochen, Nebelschwaden, einer Krähe, einem Baum, aus schwarzem Glittercardstock, in dessen Zweigen der Mond hängt, zwei Fledermäusen und natürlich dem Ausruf BOO!, den ich aus orangefarbenem Glittercardstock gestanzt habe. Und ein paar Glitzersteine habe ich hier auch noch mit untergebracht.

The scene is decorated with two ghosts that I white heat embossed onto vellum, two tomb stones, a Jack'o'Lantern, a skull with bones, fog, a crow, a tree cut from black glitter cardstock with the golden moon in its branches, two bats and of courses the word BOO!, that I've die cut from orange glitter cardstock. I also added some clear rhinestones here.
