Heute geht es in die Disco - sorry, Club, wie es jetzt heißt. Ihr müsst dafür nicht mal das Haus verlassen - Ernst, das Nilpferd, nimmt Euch auf dieser Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige, mit.

Today we're going to the discothek - sorry, club, as that's what they call it nowadays. You don't even have to leave the house, Ernst, the hippo, is taking us with him on this card, that I'm sharing over on the Stampcorner Blog today. 

 

Der Spruch auf der Karte ist aus dem  neuen Set Für Dich 2 - und er hat mich zu dieser Szene/Karte inspiriert. 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks, den ich mit Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire und Black Soot gewischt habe. Das Schwarz nimmt dabei den größten Teil ein. Ich habe es mit einem Blending Brush aufgetragen, wodurch es nicht ganz so satt ausgefallen ist. 

 

The text on this card means "step out of line" (do something different than everyone else) - but in german we say "dance out of line", and that's what inspired me to make this scene/card.

The background is made from a piece of white cardstock, that I inked with Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. Black is the main color here. I used a Blending Brush to apply it, that's why it isn't such deep a black.

 

 Zu einer richtigen Disco gehört natürlich eine Discokugel! Also habe ich mich hier an einer versucht. Ich habe einfach einen Kreis aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit verschiedenen Copic-Tönen in Grau recht fleckig coloriert. Dann habe ich mit einem feinen weißen Gelstift mit etwas wackeligen Linien ein Gitternetz aufgemalt, das ich außerdem etwas gebogen habe, um der Kugel Dimensionalität zu geben. Außerdem habe ich sie mit einem klaren Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen beglittert und mit einem dickeren Gelstift ein paar Lichtreflektionen aufgemalt. Die Schnur, von der die Kugel hängt, habe ich mit einem silbernen Gelstift auf den Hintergrund gemalt. 

Bevor ich die Kugel aufgeklebt habe, habe ich mit weißer Stempeltinte ein paar Strahlen hinter die Kugel gesetzt - nicht komplett rund, sondern nur an zwei Seiten. 

Und dann macht eine Discokugel natürlich tolle Lichtmuster an Wand und Decke. Die habe ich wieder mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht. Ich habe immer einige Punkte - größere und kleinere - auf den Hintergrund getupft und dann mit dem Finger ein wenig verwischt. Außerdem habe ich nur in dem Bereich, in dem sich die Lichtpunkte befinden, einige  relativ feine Wassertropfen auf den Hintergrund gespritzt. 

Und hier habe ich dann auch den ersten Teil meines Textes untergebracht. Er ist ein Teil eines der Texte aus dem neuen Set Für Dich 2 und mit weißem Embossingpulver auf den Hintergrund embosst. Eigentlich hat der Text eine ganz andere Anordnung und ist mit tollen Linien und Elementen verziert. Das passte zu meiner Karte aber einfach nicht. Also habe ich nur das Wort Tanze!! mit einem Versamark-Stift "eingefärbt" und dann abgestempelt.

Of course there has to be a disco ball! So I tried to create one here. I simply cut a circle from white cardstock and then used different tones of grey to color it grey, keeping the color quite splotchy on purpose. Then I used  a fine white gel pen to draw quite wonky lines in a grid pattern, rounding it a bit to give the disco ball some dimension. I also covered it with a clear Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen to make it a bit glittery and then used a thicker white gel pen to add some light reflections. The cord the ball is hanging on I simply drew with a silver gel pen directly onto the background.

Before I glued the disco ball onto the background I added some rays behind it using white ink. I didn't add those all around the ball, only on two sides.

And then those disco balls create so wonderful light patterns on the ceiling and walls. Again I used a white gel pen to make those. I made a few dots - small and large - at a time, then used my fingers to smear them a bit over the cardstock. I also added some fine droplets of water just in the area where I added the white light reflections.

And then I also white heat embossed part of my text here. It's part of a large stamp, that has some beautiful flourishes and lines between the words. But that didn't fit the style of my card. So I used a Versamark pen to only ink up the word dance!! and stamped that directly onto the background. 

Und im unteren Bereich der Karte ist Ernst, der sich das Motto der Karte so richtig zu Herzen genommen hat.

Hier kam wieder der Hulahippo zum Einsatz. Dem hatte ich letzten Sommer ja schon mal ein Blätterröckchen für die Tropen angezogen. Diesmal ist er mit rosafarbenem Tutu unterwegs. Den Hula-Hoop-Reifen habe ich weggeschnitten und die Linien über dem Bauch mit dem Röckchen verdeckt. Dafür habe ich einfach ein Stück rosafarbenes Organzaband an einer Längskante gerafft und aufgeklebt. 

Ernst ist mit Copics coloriert, die rosafarbenen Nägel sind mit Glossy Accents überzogen. Und auf dem Kopf trägt er noch einen Haarreif mit zwei rosafarbenen Sternen, die ich außerem dick mit rosa-irisierenden Stickles beglittert habe.

Unter Ernst befindet sich der Rest des Textes. Mit derselben Technik, die ich oben beschrieben habe, habe ich auch hier die Anordnung geändert und die Deko "verschwinden lassen". Der Text ist weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Den wollte ich erst noch weiß matten, habe mich dann aber dagegen entschieden, denn so verblendet er fast perfekt mit dem schwarzen Hintergrund.

Und weil man in einer Disco ja nie alleine ist, habe ich noch einige "normale" Hippos in den Hintergrund gesetzt. Dafür habe ich Ernst nochmal auf etwas dickeres Papier gestempelt und so ausgeschnitten, dass ich eine Art Schablone hatte. Durch die habe ich dann Distress Oxide Black Soot mit einem Blending Tool aufgetupft - richtig satt, damit sie sich vom Hintergrund abheben. Den "Stencil" habe ich auch aufs Gesicht gedreht, so dass nicht alle Hippos in die selbe Richtung schauen. 

And in the lower part of my card is Ernst, who really took the text on this card to heart.

Again I used the Hulahippo here. Last summer I already dressed him up with a leafy skirt for the tropics. This time he's wearing a pink tutu. I cut off the hula hoop and covered the lines across his belly with the little skirt. To create it, I simply ruffled one long edge of a piece of pink organdy ribbon and glued it on. 

Ernst is colored with Copics, his pink nails I covered with Glossy Accents. And on his head I placed a head band with pink dangling stars, that I covered with a thick layer of pink Stickles.

Ernst is standing on the rest of my text. Using the same technique as described above I changed the placement of the words and also "removed" the flourishes. I white heat embossed the text onto black cardstock, that I originally had planned to mat white. But then I decided against it, because now it nearly blends perfectly into the background.

And since you're never alone at a discothek, I put a few "normal" hippos into the background. I simply stamped Ernst again onto a piece of a bit heavier paper and cut him out to make my own stencil. Through that I dabbed some Distress Oxide Black - kind of a lot of ink to make them stand out from the background. I also turned the stencil upside down so not all of the hippos are facing the same direction.

Die Discokugel und Ernst habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Dann habe ich mit einem silbernen Gelstift einen zarten Rahmen um die Szene gemalt und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I used thin foam tape to adhere the disco ball and the hippo. Then drew a soft frame with a silver gel pen and put everything onto a white card base.

Stampcorner März-Release Sneak #2

Heute habe ich noch ein weiteres Sneak auf das März-Release von Stampcorner für Euch und diesmal wird es österlich!

Today I have another sneak of the march release by Stampcorner and it's looking a lot like easter today!

 

Einen der Hasen hatte ich Euch ja schon am Sonntag gezeigt - heute lernt Ihr einen weiteren kennen. Der sitzt in der Wiese vor ein paar großen Narzissen und genießt den schönen Frühlingstag.

Mir war von vornherein klar, dass ich unbedingt große Blumen hinter den Hasen stempeln wollte. Also habe ich dieses alte Narzissen-Motiv hevorgeholt. Ich weiß nicht mal mehr, von wem das Set ist... Die Narzissen habe ich schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und mit Copics coloriert. 

Auch neu gibt es von Stampcorner einen Wolken-Stencil, der nicht nur die Wolkenkanten, sondern auch komplette Wolken enthält. Und die Negative der Wolken werden auch noch mitgeliefert. Ich habe hier die Wolkenkanten und Distress Ink Salvaged Patina verwendet und hinter die Narzissen relativ sanft Wolken aufgewischt.

 

I already shared one of the bunnies last sunday - today you get to meet another one. This one's sitting in a meadow under samt giant daffodils and is enjoying the warm spring day.

I knew from the start that I wanted this bunny to sit under some large flowers. So I brought out this old daffodil stamp that I don't even remember the brand of. I stamped them black onto white cardstock and colored them with Copics.

Also new in this release is a cloud stencil. I used that and some Distress Ink Salvaged Patina to softly ink some clouds behind the daffodils.

 

Auch den süßen Hasen habe ich mit Copics coloriert. Irgendwie tendiere ich dazu, Hasen immer weiß zu colorieren. Diesmal habe ich bewusst zu Brauntönen gegriffen. Anschließend habe ich den Hasen ausgeschnitten.

Und seht Ihr die beiden Ostereier hinter dem Hasen, die hat er selbst bemalt! Auch die sind mit einem neuen Stencil gemacht und eigentlich  haben sie süße Hasenohren. Das passte nur nicht zu meiner Szene. Also habe ich nur die Eier mit Salvaged Patina auf hell-aqua Cardstock gestencilt  und ausgeschnitten. Man kann die  wunderbar bunt machen - ich wollte nur nicht noch eine weitere Farbe auf die Karte bringen oder dem Hasen oder den Narzissen die Show stehlen. Deswegen habe ich lieber Ton in Ton gearbeitet. Die ausgeschnittenen Eier habe ich dann links und rechts der Blumen durch Schlitze, die ich entlang der Blätter geschnitten habe, zwischen die Blumen geschoben. 

Das Wort Hasengrüße ist auch im neuen Set enthalten - das war aber ein wenig kurz für meine Karte. Also habe ich mit Stempeln aus dem Set Kleine Worte 2 aus "Hasengrüße" einfach "liebe Oster-Hasengrüße" gemacht. Die Texte sind mit schwarzer Tinte direkt auf den Cardstock, auf den ich auch die Blumen gestempelt habe, aufgestempelt. 

Also the cute bunny is colored with Copics. I always tend to color bunnies white, this time I decided to go with browns. Then I cut him out.

And do you see the easter eggs behind the bunny? He colored them himself. They are made with another new stencil and originally they have cut bunny ears. But those didn't fit my scene. So I only inked the eggs with Salvaged Patina onto some light aqua cardstock and cut them out. Of course you can make those wonderfully colorful but I didn't want to bring another color onto the card or take too much attention from the bunny or flowers. So I went a bit more subtle. I cut slits along the stamped lines of the leaves and put the eggs through them.

The text means "sending easter bunny greetings". I stamped it with black ink directly onto the white cardstock that I also stamped the flowers on.

Den kleinen Hasen habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt und darunter noch ein schmales Oval, gestanzt aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock, geschoben, damit der Hase schön drauf sitzen kann. Und zu dem Text fand ich, passen ein paar kleine Herzen prima. Ich habe einige hellrosafarbene auf der Karte verteilt, die  auch das rosa in den Ohren des Hasen nochmal aufgreifen. 

Dann habe ich alles rosafarbenen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

The little bunny is attached with thin foam tape and I also tucked a thin oval, cut from dark green cardstock, underneath so he has something to sit on. And I thought, some hearts would go perfectly with the text. I added some light pink ones to also pick up the pink in the bunny ears again.

Then I adherd the card panel to a light pink note card.

 

Es duftet nach Frühling

An der ein oder anderen Ecke kann man ihn schon erahnen - den Frühling! Und das hat mich zur heutigen Karte inspiriert.

Outside there are a few small signs of spring alreay. And that's what inspired me to today's card.

Ich liebe Schneeglöckchen. Nicht nur, weil sie das erste Zeichen sind, dass der Winter dem Ende zugeht, und weil sie der Kälte trotzen und auch im Schnee das Blühen anfangen. Auch die zarten weißen Blüten gefallen mir einfach sehr. 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks einen Kreis ausgestanzt und den Cardstock dann mit einem Blätter-Prägefolder von Nellie Snellen geprägt. Anschließend habe ich hellblaue Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

I love snowdrops. Not only because they are the first sign, that winter is coming to an end, and they fight even the coldest weather and start blooming in the snow. I also just love the delicate white blossoms.

For the background I die cut a circle from a piece of white cardstock and then dry embossed is with a leaf pattern embossing folder by Nellie Snellen. Then I spattered some blue metallic watercolor onto the cardstock.

Die tollen Schneeglöckchen sind aus dem Endlich Frühling Set von Create a Smile. Ich habe das Motiv zweimal verwendet und einen Teil des zweiten Motives versetzt oben hinter das erste gesetzt. Außerdem kam die einzelne Blüte zum Einsatz. Um den zarten Look der Blumen auf die Karte zu bringen, habe ich die Motive erst mit hellblauer Tinte gestempelt, dann habe ich alles außerden den Blüten nochmal mit grauer Tinte darüber gestempelt und alles mit Copics coloriert. Durch die grauen Stempellinien hat das Motiv etwas von No-Line Coloring, trotzdem kann man die Linien ein wenig erkennen, so dass keine Details des Motivs verloren gehen.

Ich habe die Blumen mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. Um den ausgestanzten Kreis im Hintergrund habe ich einen nach innen gewellten Kreis, gemacht mit einer der Scallop Circle Frames Stanzen von MFT, geklebt. Außerdem habe ich blauen Cardstock hinter die Ausstanzung geklebt. Dann habe ich die Stiele der Blumen hinter die Öffnung gesteckt und die Blüten oben auf dem Rahmen aufliegen lassen.

Auch der Text ist aus dem Endlich Frühling Stempelset. Ich habe ihn weiß auf hellblauen Cardstock embosst und dabei den kleinen Text passend zum Kreisrahmen etwas gebogen. 

These beautiful snowdrops are  from the Endlich Frühling stamp set by Create a Smile. I stamped the image twice and put a part of the second image behind the first one. I also used the single blossom image here. To bring the delicate look of snowdrops onto the card I stamped the images with light blue ink first, then stamped them a second time with grey ink, not inking the blossoms. I colored the images with Copics - due to the grey stamped lines the image has some kind of no-line coloring look but still the lines are a bit visible so no detail of the image goes lost.

I cut the images out with my scissors. Around the circle cut from the background I placed a white frame, made with one of the Scallop Circle Frames by MFT. I also put some blue cardstock behind the window. Then I stuck the stems of the flowers behind the window and the blossoms on its top.

The text means "it smells like spring". I white heat embossed the texts onto blue cardstock, bending the small text a bit to make it match the shape of the frame.

Den blauen Cardstock im Hintergrund habe ich mit dickem 3D Tape, den runden Rahmen und die Texte mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Und auch hinter den Blüten, dort wo sie auf dem Rahmen aufliegen, befindet sich nochmal etwas dünnes 3D Tape. 

Ich habe einige grün-irisierende Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

I attached the blue cardstock with thick foam tape behind the window, the frame and texts I adhered with thin foam tape. And also behind the blossoms, where they lay on top of the frame, I placed some thin foam tape.

I added a few green iridescent rhinestones, then adhered the card panel to a white note card.

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Letzte Woche kam das neue Release von LawnFawn heraus - und ja, ich war wieder verliebt. Vielleicht bin ich auch ein ganz klein wenig - hüstel - eskaliert und stand dann, nachdem meine Sachen ankamen, vor der Qual der Wahl: was wollte ich zuerst verwenden. Ich laufe dann ja immer Gefahr, alles auf einmal benutzen zu wollen. Also habe ich mich hauptsächlich auf das Carrot 'Bout You Stempelset konzentriert und damit, und natürlich dem ein oder anderen Neuen und auch Altem, diese Frühlingskarte gewerkelt.

Last week LawnFawn came out with their new release - and yes, I was once again in love with it. Maybe I also escalated a bit - cough - and after my order arrived I was once again overwhelmed and had a hard time deciding what to use first. I always want to use everything right away and at once. But then I decided to go with the Carrot 'Bout You stamp set and with it and of course some more new and older items I made this spring card.

Im Hintergrund habe ich erst den Stitched Clouds Backdrop aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe hier nur den in Landscape Format, aber da ich wusste, dass der untere Teil sowieso von anderen Elementen verdeckt wird, habe ich per Partial DieCutting zumindest im oberen Bereich die Wolken gestanzt. Dann habe ich den Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina gewischt. 

Als Rahmen für meine Szene habe ich den Spooky Forest Backdrop verwendet, der sich super auch für andere Jahreszeiten abwandeln lässt. Ich habe ihn aus hellbraunem Cardstock gestanzt und den Bäumen mit Copics Sturktur verliehen. Später habe ich dann noch einen der Stitched Rectangle Frames aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt und aufgeklebt. 

In the background I used the Stitched Clouds Backdrop to cut the clouds into a piece of white carsddtock. I only have the landscape orientated one but since I knew that the lower part will be covered by other elements I did some partial die cutting to at least cut the clouds in the upper area. Then I inked the cardstock with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina.

I used the Spooky Forest Backdrop to frame my scene. This one can easily be changed to fit any other season. I die cut it from light brown cardstock and then used Copics to add some structure to the trees. Later I also die cut one of the Stitched Rectangle Frames from light aqua cardstock and glued it around the scene.

In dem bereits erwähnten Carrot 'Bout You Set sind zwei Karotten-Autos enthalten. In die war ich sofort verliebt und ich wusste, dass davon mindestens eines auf die Karte musste. Es ist dann das kleinere Auto geworden, an das ich den Anhänger aus dem selben Set gehängt habe. Der ist beladen mit den großen Karotten aus dem Hay There Hayrides Bunny Add-On Set. Auf ihnen sitzt ein kleiner Hase, außerdem steckt dort ein Schild mit dem Text "Spring has Sprung". 

Im Karotten-Auto sitzt ein weiterer Hase, wieder aus dem Hay There Hayrides Bunny Add-On Set. Er lässt ganz lässig den rechten Arm herunterhängen. Und weil das kleine Auto kein Lenkrad hat, ich aber natürlich nicht wollte, dass die beiden Hasen unkontrolliert über die Felder fahren, habe ich das Lenkrad aus dem größeren Auto angesetzt.

Hinter den Fahrzeugen befindet sich ein grüner Hügel, davor ein Zaun. Der ist mit der ebenfalls neuen Farm Fence Border aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und wieder mit Copics coloriert. 

Und dann begann die Karotten-Eskalation. Ich habe ganz viele Karotten aus dem Carrot 'Bout You Set abgestempelt und ausgeschnitten. Mit dem "Feld" aus dem Veggie Happy Set habe ich dann die welligen Pflanzreihen gestempelt. Dabei habe ich den Stempel dreimal - jeweils um 180 Grad gedreht - abgestempelt und die Enden maskiert, so dass ich ein langes Feld erhalten habe. Entlang der welligen Linien habe ich mit einem Cutter Schlitze in den Cardstock geschnitten und die einzelnen Karotten hineingesteckt. 

Zwischen Karottenfeld und Zaun habe ich dann einen Feldweg gesetzt, auf dem das Auto samt Hänger fährt. Der besteht einfach nur aus einem Streifen weißen Cardstocks, den ich mit den selben Farben wie auch die Erde des Karottenfeldes coloriert habe. Es sollte ein wenig so aussehen, als wären zwei tiefe Fahrrinnen eingegraben, in denen die Reifen laufen. 

Vor dem Feld sind dann noch zwei Lagen Wiese - eine ist passend zu der welligen Kante des Feldes geschnitten, die Lage davor habe ich mit dem Spooky Forest Backdrop gemacht. Davon habe ich übrigens die hohen Gräser weggeschnitten. Stattdessen  habe ich mit der Cattail Stanze kleinere Grasbüschel gestanzt und dazwischen Tulpen und kleine rosa Blumen gesetzt. 

There are two carrot cars in the Carrot 'Bout You stamp set. I immediately fell in love with those and knew, that I wanted to use at least one of them. I went with the smaller one here and put the trailer from the same set behind it. This is loaded with the large carrots from the Hay There Hayrides Bunny Add-On set. A little bunny is sitting on them. And there's also a sign saying "spring has sprung" tucked between the carrots.

In the carrot car there is another bunny sitting, again from the Hay There Hayrides Bunny Add-On set. He's cooly letting his right arm hang out of the "window". And since the smaller of the carrot cars has no steering wheel but of course I didn't want those two bunnies go uncontrollable over those fields I added the steering wheel of the larger car to the small one.

Behind the car there's a green hill and a fence. It is made with the also new Farm Fence Border die, cut from white cardstock and then again colored with Copics. 

And then the carrot escalation started. I stamped a lot of carrots from the Carrot 'Bout You set and cut them out. Using the "field" image from the Veggie Happy set I stamped wavy plant rows. I stamped the image three times - turning it 180 degrees each time - and masked off the ends to get one long field. With my cutter I cut along the wavy stamped lines and put the carrots in the slits.

Between the carrot field and the fence I added a dirt road on which the car can drive. It's simply made from a strip of white cardstock, that I colored using the same colors as I did for the soil of the carrot field. I wanted it to look like there are two trails in the dirt in which the wheels run.

In front of the row I added two layers of grass - one is cut matching the wavy outline of the carrot field, the top layer is made with the Spooky Forest Backdrop. I cut off the high grass of it and added smaller bushels of grass instead that I made with the Cattail die. Between the grass I put some tulips and small pink flowers.

Damit die Bäume zum Frühling passen, habe ich sie mit Blättern und Blüten versehen. Die Blätter sind mit einer Stanze aus dem Stitched Strawberry Frame Set aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe  mit Copics einfach ein Ende der Blätter ganz leicht eingefärbt und eine Mittelachse aufgemalt. 

Die Blüten sind mit einer Stanze aus dem Pumpkin House Stanzenset aus rosafarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und ebenfalls ein wenig schattiert. Blätter und Blüten habe ich dann an den Bäumen verteilt.

Mittig am Himmel habe ich dann meinen Text platziert. Der ist mit Stempeln aus dem Set Carrot 'Bout You gemacht und mit orangefarbener Tinter abgestempelt. In der Vorschau auf eines der Create With Us Events habe ich gesehen, dass dort ein gestanztes Carrot aufgeklebt wurde und dabei das A durch eine Karotte ersetzt ist. Die Idee fand ich so toll, dass ich sie nachmachen musste. Ich habe erst das I C abgestempelt, dann den Cardstock etwas verschoben und den Rest des Textes gestempelt. So war genug Platz für eine weitere ausgeschnittene Karotte. Ich habe die allerdings umgedreht, da sie so von der Form her eher with ein A aussieht. 

To give the trees a spring look I added some leaves and blossoms to them. The leaves I die cut from green cardstock using a die from the Stitched Strawberry Frame set. I used a green Copic marker to draw a line along the center and one end of each leave.

The blossoms I die cut from light pink cardstock using a die from the Pumpkin House set and again shaded them a bit. Then I glued the leaves and the blossoms to the trees.

Onto the sky, in the center of my card, I added the text. I made it using stamps from the Carrot 'Bout You set and stamped it with orange ink. In the preview of one of the upcoming Create With Us Events I saw a card with a word Carrot, made from die cut letters, on it where the A is replaced with a carrot. I liked this idea so much that I had to include it on my card. I first stamped the I C, then moved the cardstock a bit and stamped the rest of the text. This way there was enough room between the letters for another cut out carrot. I turned it upside down because this ways it looks more like a letter A.

Normalerweise nutze ich für solche Karten ja 3D Tape zwischen den einzelnen Lagen - hier waren es aber so viele Elemente, dass ich mich schwer getan hätte. Also sind alle Lagen direkt aufeinander geklebt, nur hinter dem Text befindet sich etwas 3D Tape. 

Zum Schluss habe ich meine Szene auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Usually I use foam tape between the layers of such scene cards - but here I had so many elements that it would have been really hard to do it. So I glued all layers directly on top of each other and only used some foam tape behind the text.

Then I adhered my scene to a white note card.

Das März-Release von Stampcorner ist nur noch ein paar Tage entfernt - Zeit also, Euch ein Sneak zu zeigen! Ich habe mit einem der neuen Stempelsets diese Geburtstagskarte gemacht.

Stampcorner's march release is only a few days away - time to share a sneak with you! I used one of the new stamp sets to make this birthday card.

Ihr seht, auf der Karte ist viel los - aber eine ordentliche Geburtstagsparty kann das vertragen!

Für den Hintergrund habe ich alle möglichen Luftballon-Stanzen hervorgeholt und die Ballons aus jeweils zwei Tönen orangenem, rotem und rosanem Cardstock gestanzt. Dann habe ich sie alle neben-, unter- und übereinander arrangiert, so dass eine komplette Kartenfront damit gefüllt werden kann. Zur Orientierung habe ich ein Stück Kopierpapier in Kartengröße auf den Schreibtisch gelegt und die Teile darauf angeordnet. Als ich dann zufrieden war, habe ich die Teile zusammengeklebt. 

Zwischen die Ballons habe ich einige kleine Wolken, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, sowie Luftschlangen, die ich aus silbernem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt habe, gesetzt. 

You can see, there's lots going on on this card - but a good birthday party needs that much balloons and decorations!

For the background I brought out all different kind of balloon dies and cut them from two tones each of red, orange and pink cardstock. Then I arragend them next to, on top of and under each other until I was able to fill a whole card front. As a guide I placed a piece of paper, cut to a standard card size, onto my desk and arranged the pieces on that. Once I was happy with the placements I glued all the pieces together. 

Between the balloons I put a few small clouds, cut from white cardstock, and some streamers, cut from silver mirror cardstock.

Ganz unten auf den Ballons habe ich eine große Wolke aufgeklebt, die als Sitzfläche für den süßen Hasen aus dem neuen Release bildet. Den Hasen habe ich mit Copics coloriert, ausgeschnitten und auf die Wolke geklebt.

Darunter habe ich einen kleinen Text quer über die Wolke gesetzt. Der und auch der kleine Text oben auf der Karte sind mit Stempeln aus den Sets Kleine Worte und Kleine Worte 2 gemacht und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

At the bottom of the card I adhered a large cloud, that provides an area for the cut bunny from the new release to sit on. I colored the bunny with Copics, cut him out and glued him onto the cloud.

Under the image I placed a text across the cloud. I white heat embossed it - and also the other small text at the top of the card - onto black cardstock. The text means "it's your birthday - let's celebrate you". 

Wie schon erwähnt, habe ich auch oben auf die Karte einen kleinen Text gesetzt. 

Und an zwei der Ballons habe ich einen kleinen Tag mit einem aufgestempelten Herz angebunden. Der Tag ist ebenfalls aus einem neuen Stempelset. Ich habe ihn ausgeschnitten, an den Schlürpfel zwei der größten Ballone geklebt und eine kleine Schleife, die ich aus Twine gebunden habe, aufgeklebt.

As I already mentioned did I add another small text to the top of the card, too.

And I added a little tag with a stamped on heart to two of the balloons. The tag is also from a new stamp set. I cut it out, glued it to the ends of two of the largest balloons and glued a little bow, tied from white twine, on top.

Den kompletten Luftallon-Hintergrund habe ich mit 3D Tape auf einen schwarzen, oben gefalteten Kartenrohling geklebt. Und auch die Wolke mit dem Hasen sowie die Texte habe ich mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt - so heben sie sich besser vom unruhigen Hintergrund ab.

I adhered the balloon background with foam tape to a black top folding note card. And also the cloud with the bunny and the texts I attached with foam tape, this way they stand out better from the background.

Big Birthday Wishes

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Geburtstagskarte, auf der ich endlich das Big Love Stempelset von ColoradoCraft eingeweiht habe. Das habe  ich mir vor einigen Monaten gekauft und bin bisher einfach nicht dazugekommen.... Und dabei ist das Motiv doch so süß!

Today I am sharing with you a birthday card, that I finally used the Big Love stamp set by ColoradoCraft on. I bought it a few months ago but just didn't have time so far to use it. But it's such a cute image!

Im Hintergrund habe ich hier auf ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Lost Shadow den Pinstripe Background von MFT aufgestempelt. Unten habe ich quer ein Stück braunen Cardstocks als Boden geklebt, auf den ich den Woodplank Background mit brauner Tinte aufgestempelt habe. 

Und dann wollte ich unbedingt ein Mauseloch auf die Karte bringen, in das die Maus die Geschenke tragen kann. Also habe ich einen der Essential Arches von Spellbinders einmal aus schwarzem und einmal aus dunkelgrauem Cardstock gestanzt und leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt. Das Mauseloch habe ich dann rechts auf den Hintergrund geklebt und den Überstand abgeschnitten. 

For the background I stamped the Pinstripe Background by MFT with Distress Oxide Lost Shadow onto a piece of white cardstock. Across the bottom I glued a strip of brown cardstock, that I had stamped the Woodplank Background onto with brown ink. 

And then I really wanted a mousehole, that the mouse could bring in all those presents. So I die cut one of the Essential Arches by Spellbinders once from black and once from dark grey cardstock and stacked them a bit off. Then I glued them onto the right side of the background and cut off the overhang. 

Die süße Maus ist mit Copics coloriert und dann ausgeschnitten. Zum Stempeln habe ich ausnahmsweise mal mit brauner und nicht mit schwarzer Tinte gestempelt, das gibt einen schönen soften Look.

 Die Lieblingsfarbe von Mäusen ist natürlich käse-gelb und so habe ich verschiedene Gelbtöne zum Colorieren der Geschenke benutzt. Auf einige der Geschenke habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift ein Muster aufgemalt, die Schleife auf dem obersten Geschenk ist mit einem klaren Gelstift ein wenig beglittert. 

I colored the cute mouse with Copics and cut her out. To stamp the image I did not use black ink, like I usually do, but went with brown. It adds a nice soft touch. 

Of course a mouse's favorite color is a cheesy yellow. So I used different shades of yellow to color the presents. With a white gel pen I added a pattern to a few of the presents, the bow on the big top most present is covered with a bit of clear glitter. 

Mit dem Impact Alphabet Stanzenset von MFT habe ich aus weißem Cardstock die Buchstaben für das Wort BIG ausgestanzt und ebenfalls im Käselook coloriert. 

Die restlichen Texte auf der Karte sind aus dem Occasional Labels Stempelset von MamaElephant und ebenfalls mit brauner Tinte gestempelt. 

Vor dem Mauseloch habe ich noch eine Partygirlande, gemacht mit dem Fishtail Banner Borders Set von LawnFawn, aufgehängt. 

I die cut the letters for the word BIG from white cardstock using the Impact Alphabet die set by MFT, then colored them like cheese.

The other texts on the card are from the Occasional Labels set by MamaElphent and again stamped with brown ink.

I also hung up a party banner in front of the mousehole, made with the Fishtail Banner Borders by LawnFawn.

Die kleinen Texte sowie das Wort BIG sind mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt, hinter der Maus befindet sich dickes 3D Tape. Als Deko habe ich noch einige goldene Sternkonfetti aufgeklebt und dann den Cardstock auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I used thin foam tape to adhere the small texts and the word BIG, behind the mouse I put some thick foam tape. Then I added a few gold star confetti and adhered the card panel to a white card base.

Mit der neuen "Spring Fling" Challenge auf dem LawnFawnatics Blog geht es so richtig in die Frühlings-Bastelsaison. Und das ist meine Karte dazu.

Spring craft season is really taking off with the new "spring fling" challenge over on the LawnFawnatics blog. And this is my card for it.

Die Idee zu der Karte hat sich ganz von selbst entwickelt. Gestartet ist alles mit der Giant Happy Spring Stanze.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Papier aus dem Flower Market Paper Pad verwendet - blau-gestreift für den Himmel sowie ein Stück grün gestreiftes Papier für den Boden. Den habe ich mit einer der Stitched Hillside Borders hügelförmig ausgestanzt. Das Papier für den Himmel habe ich dann mit ein wenig Distress Ink Salvaged Patina, den Hügel mit ein wenig Mowed Lawn ein wenig schattiert. Dann habe ich noch etwas Liquid Stardust mit ein wenig Wasser vermischt und auf beide Hintergründe aufgespritzt.

The idea for this card came together all by itself - it all started with the Giant Happy Spring die.

For the background I used papers from the Flower Market paper pad - blue striped for the sky and a piece of green striped paper for the ground. I die cut this with one of the Stitched Hillside Borders to create a hill. Then I used Distress Ink Salvaged Patina to ink the sky and a bit of Mowed Lawn an the hill. I also splattered some Liquid Stardust, mixed with a bit of water, onto the papers.

Auch das Happy Spring habe ich aus Papier aus dem Flower Market Paper Pad gestanzt - diesmal grün mit kleinen weißen Blümchen. Darunter befinden sich, leicht versetzt, drei Lagen weißen Cardstocks. 

Als Deko kamen zwei  Hasen aus dem Simply Celebrate Critters Set zwischen den Buchstaben zum Einsatz. Am Fuß des Textes liegen Eier, Kleeblätter, Karotten, wachsen Tulpen und kleine Blüten. Dafür habe ich Stempel aus  den Sets Simply Celebrate Spring, Eggstraordinary Easter und Eggstraordinary Easter Add-On benutzt. Alle Motive sind mit Copics in eher pastelligen Farben, die so schön zum Frühling passen, coloriert, dann habe ich sie ausgeschnitten. 

 

Also the Happy Spring I die cut from paper from the Flower Market paper pad, this time green paper with tiny white flowers. Under it I put three layers cut from white cardstock, glueing the colored text on top a bit off. 

To decorate the text I added two bunnies from the Simply Celebrate Critters set between the letters. At the bottom there are some easter eggs, clovers, carrots, tulips and tiny flowers are also growing there. I used stamps from the Simply Celebrate Spring, Eggstraordinary Easter and Eggstraordinary Easter Add-On sets. All images I colored with Copics in softer shades, that go so wonderfully with spring, then cut them out.

 

 

Am Himmel habe ich eine Sonne und drei Wolken, alle mit Stanzen aus dem Spring Showers Set aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, aufgeklebt. Die Sonne habe ich leicht gelb mit Distress Ink gewischt - ich kann nicht sagen, mit welcher Farbe, ich habe einfach meinen Brush für gelb genommen und die Farbe, die sich noch darin befand, aufgewischt. Es ist also wohl ein Mix aus sämtlichen gelben Farbtönen. Und weil ich von dem mit Wasser gemischten Liquid Star Dust noch etwas übrig hatte, habe ich das mit einem Pinsel auf der Sonne verteilt. Außerdem finden sich am Himmel noch drei gelbe Schmetterlinge, ebenfalls aus dem Simply Celebrate Spring Set. 

Onto the sky I glued a sun and three clouds, all made from white cardstock using dies from the Spring Showers set. I inked the sun with a bit of a yellow Distress Ink - I can't tell, which color it really is. I simply brought out the brush dedicated to yellow inks and brushed on what was left on it. So most likely it is a mix of all yellow colors. And since I had some of the Liquid Star Dust, mixed with water, left over I used a brush to cover the sun with it. In the sky there are also three yellow butterflies, also from the Simply Celebrate Spring set.

Meine Karte brauchte einen Rahmen. Also habe ich den Spring Flowers Backdrop aus dem Pearlescent Vellum von LawnFawn gestanzt und die unterste Blütenreihe weggeschnitten. Dann habe ich ihn mit zwei Lagen 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt und anschließend den Text samt Motiven hinzugefügt. Die kleinen Schmetterlinge habe ich dabei mit dünnem 3D Tape befestigt. 

Um das 3D Tape hinter dem Vellum zu verstecken, habe ich noch einen der Stitched Rectangle Frames aus helltürkisem Cardstock gestanzt und oben auf den Blumenrahmen geklebt.

My card needed a frame. So I die cut the Spring Flowers Backdrop from LawnFawn's Pearlescent Vellum and cut the bottom flowers off. I used doubled up foam tape to attach the frame to the background, then added the text with the images. Behind the butterflies I used some thin foam tape. 

To hide the foam tape behind the vellum I die cut one of the Stitched Rectangle Frames from aqua cardstock and glued it onto the flower frame.

Und dann bin ich ein wenig mit den Stickles eskaliert. Der Rest der Karte sollte zu der glitzrigen Sonne und den Spritzern auf dem Hintergrund passen. Ich habe Stickles auf die Tulpen und die Schmetterlinge aufgetragen und dann noch "Highlights" damit auf den Text gesetzt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

And then I kind of escalated with the Stickles. I wanted the rest of the card to fit the glittery sun and the splatters on the background. So I applied some onto the tulips and the butterflies and also drew some "highlights" with it onto the text.

As the last step I adhered everthing to a white note card.

Auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige ich heute eine interaktive Karte, die erstmal ganz schlicht daher kommt. Aber wartet es ab...

Die Idee zu der Karte stammt aus einem Video von Jennifer McGuire und ich habe sogar die Idee mit den Streifen von ihr übernommen. Denn seit dem Herbst lagen diese dunkelblauen Streifen-Reste auf meinem Schreibtisch und warteten auf ihren Einsatz. Nun war es soweit!

On the Stampcorner Blog I am sharing an interactive card today, that looks kind of simple at first look. But wait for it...

The idea for this card is from an video by Jennifer McGuire. I even used her idea of using cardstock strips as decoration. I had those dark blue strips laying on my desk since fall, waiting to be used. Now the time had finally come!

Ich habe hier einen Kartenrohling aus grauem Cardstock geschnitten und die Deko darauf aus schwarzem Cardstock gemacht.

Das große Oops ist mit der Oops-Stanze von WhimsyStamps gemacht. Es war ein wenig aufwändiger, die Buchstaben alle quergestreift zu gestalten, denn sie werden nicht in der Lage ihrer späteren Postion gestanzt. Mir ist das hier nicht 100 Prozent gelungen, aber ich bin zufrieden. Die Schattenlage habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt.

Und weil ich unter dem Text auch noch etwas anderes als nur schwarzen Cardstock wollte, habe ich hier Streifen aus drei verschiedenen Grautönen geklebt. Das bunt gestreifte Wort macht sich super darauf.

Unter dem Text habe ich ein Bitte Entschuldige aus dem Eule Stempelset mit weißem Embossingpulver aufembosst.

I cut my card base from grey cardstock and used black cardstock for the layers on top.

The big Oops is die cut with the Oops die by WhimsyStamps. It was a bit harder to get all the letters with stripes from left to right since they don't get cut in their later orientation. I didn't achieve exact matching stripes here, but I like the look. The shadow layer I cut from white cardstock.

And since I wanted to have not just black under the text, I adhered strips of cardstock cut from three different tones of grey underneath. The colorful striped words looks good on top of those.

Under the die cut word I white heat embossed a "I am so sorry" onto the black cardstock.

Mit einem weißen Gelstift habe ich Highlights auf die Buchstaben sowie einen Rahmen rund um den schwarzen Cardstock gemalt. So wirkt alles noch einheitlicher. Außerdem habe ich einige silberne Pailetten als Deko aufgeklebt.

I used a white gel pen to draw some highlights onto the letters and also a frame all around the black cardstock. This way the card front looks even more like one single piece. I also added a few silver sequins.

Zieht man oben am Tab - ich habe extra ein pull here aus dem Push Here Stempelset von LawnFawn weiß auf den Tab embosst - dann zeigt sich, wofür hier eine Entschuldigung nötig ist. Da hat doch glatt jemand einen Geburtstag verpennt....

When you pull the tab - I white heat embossed a pull here from the Push Here stamp set by LawnFawn onto it - then there is revealed why there is an I am so sorry embossed onto the card front. Looks like someone missed a birthday....

Der arme Ernst war in absoluter Partystimmung und kam in voller Montur beim Geburtagskind an, nur um zu erfahren, dass der Geburtstag schon war... Der Arme schaut so richtig überrascht und bedröppelt drein, er kann einem fast leid tun! 

Ernst und auch das Echt Jetzt!? sind aus dem neuen Stempelset Ernst aus dem Februar-Release. Er hat den Partyhut und die Tröte der Eule aus dem Stempelset Eule dabei. Die Tröte habe ich extra etwas hängend aufgeklebt. Die Motive habe ich mit Copics coloriert. 

Den Text habe ich mit schwarzer Tinte gestempelt und dann mit einer Sprechblasenstanze ausgestanzt. 

Ernst, the hippo, was in a party mood and came to the birthday gal all dressed up - only to find out that he missed the birthday... The poor guy looks so surprised and upset, I really feel sorry for him!

Ernst and the "really!?" text are from the new Ernst stamp set from the february release. He brought the party hat and party whistle from the owl from the Eule stamp set. I let the whistle hang a bit from his mouth on purpose. The images are colored with Copics.

The text I stamped with black ink onto white cardstock and then cut it out with a speech bubble die.

Oben auf dem Tab habe ich die nachträglichen Geburtstagsglückwünsche weiß aufembosst. Der Text ist zusammengesetzt aus Stempeln aus den Sets Träume, Fauli und Kleine Worte 2. 

Onto the tab I white heat embossed some belated birthday wishes.

Ich glaube, bei einer Karte mit so einem goldigen Motiv kann keiner böse über die verspäteten Glückwünsche sein!

I really think, no one will be upset over some belated birthday wishes when they are delivered by such a cute guy!

Zum Umzug

 

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Jeder Katzenbesitzer kennt das - lässt man einen leeren Karton nur kurz aus den Augen, wählt ihn die Katze als neues Zuhause und zieht sofort ein. Als es vor kurzem darum ging, eine Karte zum Umzug einer Katzenliebhaberin zu machen, saß ich vor den Karton-Stempeln von LawnFawn und hatte prompt diese Tatsache über Katzen im Kopf. Und da war die Idee zur Karte.

Every cat owner knows it - you leave an empty box unattended for a few minutes and immediately your cats decides, this is going to be her new home, and moves in right away. When I wanted to make a card for a friend and cat lover, who just moved, I had the moving box images by LawnFawn laying in front of me and then just reminded this fact about cats. And that's how the idea for the card was born.

 

 Das Design der Karte ist eigentlich recht einfach. Im oberen Bereich habe ich hellgraues Designpapier mit Blümchenmuster als Tapete verwendet. Der Boden besteht aus einem Stück dunkelgrauen Cardstocks, auf den ich mit weißer Stempeltinte den Woodgrain Backdrop aufgestempelt habe. 

Ich habe den grauen Cardstock auf das Designpapier und dann rundum die Ränder ein wenig mit Distress Ink Black Soot abgedunkelt. 

I kept the design of the card quite simple. I used a piece of light grey patterned paper with white flowers as a wallpaper. The floor is made from a strip of dark grey cardstock, that I stamped the Woodgrain Backdrop onto with white pigment ink. 

I adhered the dark grey cardstock onto the patterned paper and then used Distress Ink Black Soot to darken the edges all around slightly. 

Wie schon erwähnt, fing alles mit den Umzugskisten von LawnFawn, die eigentlich Pakete aus dem Special Delivery Box Add-On Set sind, an. Ich habe die kleinen  Katzen aus dem Simply Celebrate Critters hineingesetzt und auf ein der Boxen eine Katze aus dem Christmas Dreams Set gelegt. Alle Motive sind mit Copics coloriert. 

Und dann bin ich auf der Suche nach einem passenden Text über die Fußmatte aus dem Happy Pawlidays Set gestolpert, für die es einen "wipe your paws" Text gibt. Das war natürlich perfekt und so habe ich die Fußmatte vor die Kartons gelegt. 

Die Sprechblase sowie der Text darin ist aus dem Set Happy Village. 

Und dann habe ich noch mit der Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag Stanze sowie der Dekobordüre aus dem Heart Pouch Set kleine Herzen aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und um die Katzen herum verteilt. 

As mentioned above, everything started with the moving boxes by LawnFawn, that are actually boxes from the Special Delivery Box Add-On set. I put the cats from the Simply Celebrate Critters into them and laid the cat from the Christmas Dreams set on top of one. I colored all images with Copics.

And then, when I was looking for a text, I came across the doormat from the Happy Pawlidays stamp set, that also has a "wipe your paws" text. It was just too good a fit to not use here and so placed a doormat with the text in front of the boxes.

The speech bubble and the text in it are from the Happy Village set. 

And then I used the Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag die set and the border from the Heart Pouch set to cut some small hearts from red cardstock and put them around the cats.

Die beiden Texte auf den schwarzen Cardstockstreifen aus dem Set Happy Village und weiß embosst. Bei dem oberen Text habe ich das Wort "heart" nicht mitgestempelt und auf die Lücke ein weiteres rotes Herz geklebt. 

Zwischen den beiden Cardstockstreifen habe ich ein congrats aus dem Big Scripty Words Set gesetzt. Ich habe es ebenfalls weiß auf hellgrauen Cardstock embosst und mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt. Das o habe ich wieder mit einem Herz dekoriert.

Both texts on the black cardstock strips are from the Happy Village set and white heat embossed. I left out the word "heart" from the top strip and replaced it with another red heart.

Between both cardstock strips I placed a congrats from the Big Scripty Words set. I white heat embossed it onto light grey cardstock and cut it out with the matching die. Then I decorated the o with another little heart.

Die Motive habe ich alle direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt, hinter dem Text und der Sprechblase befindet sich dünnes 3D Tape. Dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I adhered all the images directly to the background, behind the texts and the speech bubble I put some thin foam tape. Then I attached the card panel to a white note card.

Eine Karte zur Taufe

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Karte, die ich zur Taufe der kleinen Frieda gemacht habe.

Today I am sharing with you the card I made for the baptism of little Frieda. 

Ich habe die Karte bewusst eher einfach und fröhlich-hell gehalten. An rosa bin ich aber dann doch nicht vorbeigekommen....

I kept the card pretty simply and light, but still couldn't stop myself from using pink....

Auf ein Stück weißen Cardstocks habe ich erstmal einen Regenbogen in verschiedenen Pinktönen sowie Silber foliert. Die Farben sieht man hier leider nicht so toll, die Folie glänzt einfach zu sehr und die Farben wirken nicht. Ich habe hier das Regenbogen Hotfoil Set von Creative Depot verwendet. Dadurch, dass die Bögen einzeln sind, dauert das Folieren zwar etwas länger, man kann aber jeden Bogen in einer eigenen Farbe folieren. Ich habe hier - von außen nach innen - Pink, Hologramm-Pink, Matt-Rosa sowie Hologramm-Silber benutzt. 

Der große Fisch mit dem Kreuz ist eine Stanze von Rayher. Ich habe vier lagen aus weißem Cardstock gestapelt und obenauf einen Fisch, den ich aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt habe, aufgeklebt.

Der Text "zur Taufe" ist aus dem Set Kleine Worte 2 von Stampcorner. Und weil das Datum mit auf die Karte sollte, habe ich es dahinter gestempelt. Die Texte sind direkt mit schwarzer Tinte auf den weißen Cardstock gestempelt.

Dann habe ich noch ein paar kleine rosafarbene Blüten ausgestanzt und als Deko auf dem Regenbogen geklebt. Die Blütenmitten bestehen aus kleinen weißen Perlen, von denen ich einige mehr als Deko auf dem Cardstock verteilt habe.

I first hotfoiled a rainbow in different shades of pink and silver onto a piece of white cardstock. You really can't see the colors here, the foil is too shiny and the colors look different. I used the Regenbogen hotfoil set by Creative Depot here. Since each arch is a different hotfoil plate, foiling the rainbow takes a bit longer, but you can use a different colored foil for each arch. I went - from outside in - with pink, holographic pink, matte pink and holographic silver.

The big fish with the cross is made with a die by Rayher. I stacked four layers of white cardstock and put a fish cut from matte silver metallic cardstock, on top.

The text means "for your baptism". And since I was asked to put the date on the card I stamped that behind the text. I used black ink and stamped the text and date directly onto the white cardstock.

Then I die cut a few tiny pink flowers and glued those onto the rainbow. I used tiny white pearls as the flower centers and added a few more all over the cardstock.

Auch der Name sollte auf die Karte. Und weil ich schon beim Folieren war, habe ich auch die Buchstaben dafür mit der pinkfarbenen Folie, die ich auch für den größten der Bögen des Regenbogens verwendet habe, foliert. Ich habe die Essential Alpha Hotfoil Plate von Altenew benutzt und die Buchstaben mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt. 

Weil die recht weißen Buchstaben auf dem weißen Cardstock etwas untergingen, habe ich dahinter noch Pinselstriche von MarianneDesign mit Distress Ink Lost Shadow aufgestempelt und darauf dann mit dünnem 3D Tape die Buchstaben aufgeklebt.

Und darunter habe ich dann noch ein "Gott schütze Dich" mit schwarzer Tinte aufgestempelt. Der Text ist von Charlie und Paulchen und eigentlich etwas gebogen - ich habe ihn zum Stempeln einfach geradegebogen. 

Also the name should go on the card. And since I had all my hotfoil stuff out already, I used the same pink foil that I had also foiled the largest arch of the rainbow with, to hotfoil the letters for the name as well. I used the Essential Alpha Hotfoil Plate by Altenew and cut the letters out with the maching cutting die. 

Since the letters with all the white kind of blended into the background I stamped two brush strokes by MarianneDesign with Distress Ink Lost Shadow onto the background, then glued the letters with thin foam tape on top. 

And under it I stamped a "god bless you" with black ink.

Hier kann man den Glanz und auch die Farben der Folien etwas besser sehen. 

Ich habe mit einem klaren Glitter-Gelstift einen feinen Rahmen auf den weißen Cardstock gemalt. Dann habe ich ihn grau gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Here you get a better look of the shine and also the colors of the foil I used.

I used a clear glitter gel pen to draw a fine frame onto the white cardstock. Then I matted it grey and attached it to a white card base.
