Habt Ihr im Januar das Sneak Peek Video von Jennifer McGuire und Greg von Concord and 9th gesehen? Da wurde, so ganz nebenbei, eine Kartenidee/-technik mit verstecktem 3D Effekt gezeigt. Und die musste ich unbedingt ausprobieren. Entstanden ist damit diese Valentinskarte, die erstmal ganz unscheinbar daher kommt.

Have you seen the Sneak video Jennifer McGuire and Greg from Concord and 9th did back in january? Just inbetween Jennifer shared a card idea/technique with a hidden 3D effect. I just had to try this. And so I made this valentine's card, that looks pretty normal at first.
Ich habe hier ein Stück hellpinken Cardstocks genommen und mit einem Strahlenstencil - okay, es waren zwei weil der eine nicht ganz bis zur Kante des Cardstocks reichte - von MFT erst Strahlen mit Distress Ink Worn Lipstick Strahlen in hellerem Rot aufgewischt, die zu den Kanten des Cardstocks hin heller werden. Dann habe ich den Stencil abgenommen und den Bereich, von dem die Strahlen ausgehen, ebenfalls mit Worn Lipstick etwas abgedunkelt. Anschließend habe ich den Stencil wieder aufgelegt und die Strahlenmitte mit Lumberjack Plaid abgedunkelt.
Mit weißer Acrylfarbe habe ich außerdem einige Farbspritzer auf dem Cardstock verteilt.
I used Distress Ink Worn Lipstick and a rays stencil - okay, I had to combine two because the one I wanted to use didn't reach all the way down to the bottom edge of my cardstock - by MFT to ink some rays onto a piece of light pink cardstock. I let the color fade towards the edges of my cardstock. Then I removed the stencil and also inked the area the rays radiate from with Worn Lipstick. I put the stencil back in place and then darkened the center with Lumberjack Plaid.
I also spattered some white acrylic paint onto the background
Das Herz ist mit einer der Nesting Stitched Hearts Stanzen von Kulricke gemacht. Ich habe dafür zwei Herzen aus hellrosafarbenem Cardstock gestanzt, die ich aufeinander geklebt habe.
Die Deko steht ganz im Zeichen des Valentinstags. Mit den Impact Numbers von MFT habe ich die Zahlen 1 und 4 aus rosarotem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt und per Hand eine passende weiße Schattenlage geschnitten.
Die Rosen sind mit Stanzen von Magnolia aus rotem und schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt. Die roten Blüten habe ich mit Copics etwas schattiert.
Außerdem habe ich mit Stempeln aus dem Set Itty Bitty Love Set von MFT zwei kleine Texte weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.
Alle Elemente sind nur auf dem rosa Herz aufgeklebt, teilweise mit 3D Tape. Außerdem habe ich einige klare Glitzersteine als Deko mit aufgeklebt.
I used one of the Nesting Stitched Hearts dies by Kulricke and die cut it twice from light pink cardstock, then stacked the pieces.
The decoration is all about Valentine's. Using the Impact Numbers die set by MFT I die cut the 1 and 4 from reddish pink glitter cardstock, then cut a matching white shadow for each number with my scissors.
The roses I die cut from red and black cardstock using dies by Magnolia. With Copics I added some shading to the blossoms.
I also used stamps from the Itty Bitty Love set by MFT to white heat emboss a small text onto strips of black cardstock.
All the elements are only attached to the pink heart, some of them with foam tape. I also added a few clear rhinestones.
Den Hintergrund habe ich dann auf einen oben gefalteten Kartenrohling geklebt.
Im geschlossenen Zustand ist die Karte, von der abstehenden Deko mal abgesehen, ganz flach.
I adhered the background to a white top folding note card.
When the card is closed it lays completly flat - besides the decorations attached with foam tape of course.

Öffnet man die Karte aber, klappt das Herz nach innen und steht dort ab. Ich finde diesen Effekt klasse - und er ist super einfach gemacht!
Aus der Oberseite des Kartenrohlings und aus dem gewischten Hintergrund habe ich ebenfalls ein Herz and exakt gleicher Stelle ausgestanzt. Für den Mechanismus wird dann nur ein gefalteter Kartenstreifen innen in der Karte angeklebt, auf dem das Herz befestigt wird.
Und sorry, die Bilder vom Inneren der Karte sind nicht so toll und farblich anders, aber irgendwie konnte ich das nicht anders fotografieren....
But when you open the card, the heart kind of moves to the inside and is visible there in a raised position. I just love this effect and it's so easy to make!
I die cut the same heart from the top of the card base and the inked background, cutting it from the exact same spot. For the mechanism you only have to add a folded strip of cardstock to the inside of the card and attach the heart to it.
And sorry, the pictures of the inside somehow turned out dark and not true in color but I didn't get a better result...
Ins Innere der Karte habe ich dann noch einen Text gestempelt: ein because I love you mit schwarzer und ein happy valentine's day mit roter Tinte. Beide Texte sind aus dem Love Letters Stempelset von LawnFawn.
Neben dem Text habe ich hier zwei kleine rosafarbene Herzenund einen weiteren Glitzerstein aufgeklebt.
I stamped a text also on the inside of the card: a because I love you with black, a happy valentine's day with red ink. Both texts are from the Love Letters stamp set by LawnFawn
Next to the text I glued two little pink hearts and another rhinestone.
