Nochmal eine Finanzspritze

Während meiner Sneaks auf das August-Release habe ich ja schon mal ein Karte mit Geldgeschenk gewerkelt. Heute zeige ich auf dem Stampcorner Blog eine weitere Idee.

During my sneaks for the august release I already shared a card to give some money. Today I am sharing another idea over on the Stampcorner Blog. 

Auf dieser Karte kam im Hintergrund wieder der Speed Lines Stempel zum Einsatz - der avanciert hier gerade zu einem meiner Lieblingsstempel. Ich habe ihn mit orangeroter Tinte auf ein Stück weißen Cardstocks abgestempelt und dabei den äußeren Bereich öfter als die Mitte, um die Tinte dort dunkler zu halten. 

On this card I used the Speed Lines stamp again - it's about to become one of my favorite stamps! I stamped it with orange-red ink onto a piece of white cardstock, stamping the outer area more often than the center to darken the ink there.

Um das Geld zu verpacken, habe ich einen Lip Balm Pouch von MFT verwendet. Die Ausstanzung dafür ist mit dem passenden Lip Balm Window and Frame Stanzenset von MFT gemacht. Ich habe das Fenster in den Hintergrund und außerdem in ein Stück schwarzen Cardstocks gestanzt. Aus dem schwarzen Cardstock habe ich dann - einfach mit ein wenig Abstand zum Fenster - die Spritze geschnitten. Am oberen Ende habe ich zwei kleine "Flügel" eingebaut. Der Drücker ist tatsächlich mit einem aus schwarzen Cardstock gestanzten T aus einem Alphabet-Stanzenset gemacht. Und die Nadel ist aus silberfarbenem Metallic-Cardstock geschnitten. Für die Highlights habe ich einen weißen Gelstift benutzt. 

Diese Spritze habe ich dann rund um das in den Hintergrund gestanzte Fenster geklebt und von hinten die Pouch dagegen geklebt. Die ist von der Länge perfekt für einen 10-Euro-Schein gemacht, man kann aber problemlos mehrere auf einmal rollen, die passen da locker rein. 

To include the money in the card I used a Lip Balm Pouch by MFT, using the Lip Balm Window and Frame die set by MFT for the window. I die cut the window once into the cardstock I stamped the background onto and once from black cardstock. I then used that black cardstock with the window to create my syringe. I simply cut with a bit of distance around the window, adding two little "wings" at the top edge. The presser is actually made using a T from an alphabet die set, cut from black cardstock. And the needle I've made from a very thin strip of silver metallic cardstock. Then I added a few highlights with a white gel pen.

I glued the syringe around the window and put the pouch through it, attaching it to the back of the cardstock. 

Direkt unter meiner Spritze habe ich dann das mehrfach gestanzte und gestackte Finanzspritze geklebt. Ich habe es aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und hier bewusst auf die Highlights verzichtet. Darunter war noch Platz für ein kleines "zum Abitur" aus dem Stempelset Kleine Worte 2. Das habe ich weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

Directly under the syringe I put down the die cut several times and stacked word "financial shot". I die cut it from black cardstock and decided, not to add white highlights to the word this time. Under it there was also room for a "for your graduation" text, white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

Hier könnt Ihr sehen, wie hoch die Pouch ist. Klar, in einem Kuvert kann man diese Karte nicht verschicken, aber es gibt ja auch Karten, die man persönlich übergibt.

Mir fehlte noch etwas, das die Karte irgendwie optisch zusammenhält. Also habe ich aus rostrotem Cardstock eines der Stitched Rectangles ausgestanzt und den inneren Teil herausgeschnitten. Den habe ich dann auf den Hintergrund geklebt, die Spritze liegt obenauf.

Als Deko habe ich einige silberfarbene Pailetten hinzugefügt, dann alles schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. Auch hier sind in den schwarzen Cardstock und den Kartenrohling wieder Fenster - ebenfalls mit der Lip Balm Window and Frame Stanze - gestanzt, so dass man das Geld bei geöffneter Karte entnehmen kann. Ich habe einfach einen Schieber aus schwarzem Cardstock angebracht, so muss man die Karte nicht zerreißen.

Here you can see, how high this pouch is. Of course you can't mail it in an envelope, but there are still cards we give personally, right?

I needed something to hold the whole design together. So I die cut one of the Stitched Rectangles from rust red cardstock and cut out the inner area. Then I glued that onto my background, putting the ends of the syringe on top of the frame.

I decorated the card with a few silver sequins, matted the cardstock black and adhered it to a white note card. Again I die cut windows in both the mat and the note card - again using the Lip Balm Window and Frame die - so you can take out the money without having to rip the card apart. I simply put a little slider cut from black cardstock to the inside of the card, that closes the pouch on the back.

Stampcorner September Release Sneak #3

Jetzt habe ich es doch getan und für das 3. Sneak auf das September-Release von Stampcorner eine Weihnachtskarte gemacht. Die ist eher einfach ausgefallen, aber ich finde, gerade dadurch strahlt sie eine wunderbar winterliche, weihnachtliche Ruhe aus.

Well, I did it and made a christmas card as my 3rd sneak of the Stampcorner september release. It turned out quite simple, but to me, this simple look gives is a wonderful wintery and christmassy, silent vibe.

Hier seht Ihr im Hintergrund einen neuen Hintergrundstempel - und der geht nicht nur für Weihnachten! Ich habe hier ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans und Black Soot gewischt. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich den Hintergrund aufembosst. Dabei habe ich zuerst nur die Punkte mit Versamark aufgestempelt und weiß embosst. Dann habe ich nur die Sterne mit goldenem Glitter-Embossingpuler embosst. 

Here I show you a new background stamp - and this one's not only great for christmas!

I inked a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans and Black Soot. After the ink had dried, I added the background. First I only covered the dots with Versamark and heat embossed them white, then I only did the stars, this time using gold glitter embossing powder.

Die schöne Winterstadt ist aus dem Stempelset, das ich Euch bereits mit dem ersten Sneak gezeigt habe - ebenso der Text.

Ich habe die Häuserzeile schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich die Häuser nochmal mit Distress Oxide Speckled Egg gestempelt und hier nur die Schneelinie ausgeschnitten - also die Häuser weggeschnitten. Den unteren Rand dieses Stücks Cardstock habe ich mit Speckled Egg ein wenig gewischt und dann den Frohe Weihnachten Text mittig mit schwarzer Tinte aufgestempelt.

The wintery town is from the stamp set I already used for my first sneak - as is the text.

I stamped the row of houses black onto white cardstock and cut it out. Then I stamped it again with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, but only used the snow line here, cutting off the houses. I inked the bottom of this cardstock piece with Salvaged Patina, then stamped the Frohe Weihnachten - merry christmas - with black ink into the center.

Da natürlich ein Weihnachtsstern über dem Ort nicht fehlen durfte, habe ich noch diesen Stern aus goldenem Glittercardstock gestanzt und mit einem kleinen Stück 3D Tape mittig auf den Himmel geklebt.

Since I felt like this card needed a christmas star, I die cut this star from gold glitter cardstock and adhered it to the center of the sky using a small piece of foam tape.

Um die Karte fertig zu stellen, habe ich zuerst den Cardstock mit den Häusern mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Darauf kam dann, ebenfalls mit 3D Tape, die Schneelage. Zum Schluss habe ich alles schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

To finish the card, I first adhered the cardstock with the houses with thin foam tape onto the background. Then I put the snow layer on top, using foam tape again. I matted the cardstock panel black and attached everything to a white note card.

Summer Vibes

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute zeige ich Euch die Karte, auf der ich das letzte Set, das ich mir aus dem Create a Smile August Release gegönnt habe, verwendet habe. Und nach einem Ausflug in den Herbst und zu Halloween, habe ich mit den süßen Kakadus eine richtig sommerliche Karte gemacht. Schließlich ist immer noch Sommer, und der Herbst kommt früh genug!

Today I am sharing the card that I used the last set I ordered from Create a Smile's august release. After a journey into fall an to Halloween I made a summer card with those cute cockadoos. After all, it is still summer, and fall will be here soon enough.

 

 Ich weiß, dass es Kakadus in allen möglichen Farben gibt, mir fällt aber sofort gelb-weiß ein, wenn ich an die Vögel denke. Und die Farbkombi ist natürlich auch wunderbar sonnig-sommerlich. Deswegen habe ich sie auch für meine Karte benutzt. 

Mit der Focal Point Stencil und Distress Oxide Mustard Seed Strahlen auf ein Stück weißen Cardstocks gewischt, um meinen Hintergrund zu gestalten. 

I know that cockadoos come in all kind of colors/color combos, but when I think of those birds, I immediately have yellow and white in mind. And since that's also a wonderful sunny and summer-ish color combo, that's what I picked for my card.

With the Focal Point stencil and Distress Oxide Mustard Seed I inked some rays onto a piece of white cardstock to create my background.

Ich habe mich für diesen kleinen Kerl aus dem Set Ta-Daa entschieden - er tanzt so wunderbar fröhlich und ich kann ihn direkt mit dem Kopf wackeln sehen. Coloriert habe ich ihn mit Copics, der Schnabel ist mit Glossy Accents überzogen. Über dem Vogel habe ich eine aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzte Sprechblase mit einem weiß aufembossten "Yeah, yeah, yeah" aufgeklebt. 

I went with this little guy from the stamp set Ta-Daa - he's dancing so happily and I can nearly see him move his head up and down. I colored him  with Copics, the beak is covered with some Glossy Accents. Above the bird I placed a speech bubble, cut from black cardstock, that I white heat embossed a "yeah, yeah, yeah" onto. 

Der gut gelaunte Kakadu tanzt auf einem gestanzten Wort Summer Vibes - das fand ich einfach perfekt für die Karte. Es ist mit der Summervibes Stanze gemacht. Den Schatten habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock, das Wort dreimal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Die oberste weiße Lage habe ich von unten her ein wenig mit Mustard Seed eingefärbt und dann alles aufeinander geklebt. Auf den oberen Rand des Wortes Summer habe ich etwas Stickles aufgetragen.

Hinter das gestanzte Wort habe ich einige tropische Blätter gesetzt. Sie sind aus leuchtend grünem, helltürkisfarbenem und grün-blauem Cardstock mit Stanzen von JoyCrafts und MFT gestanzt. Dann habe ich sie mit farblich passenden Tinten etwas gewischt und einige Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift hinzugefügt. Außerdem habe ich aus weißem Cardstock die Blüte aus dem Cherry Lowercase Stanzenset dreimal gestanzt und die Mitten wieder mit Mustard Seed eingefärbt.

The happy little cockadoo is dancing on a die cut summer vibes word - I think this is perfect for this card. I die cut it using the Summervibes die. I cut the shadow from black cardstock, the word three times from white cardstock. I used Mustard Seed to ink the top white layer, letting the ink fade into the white at the top of the word, then stacked all the pieces. I also added a bit of Stickles to the top only of the word summer.

Behind the die cut word I placed some tropical leaves. I die cut them from bright green, light aqua and green-ish blue cardstock using dies by JoyCrafts and MFT. Then I inked them with inks matching the cardstock colors and added a few highlights with a white gel pen. I also die cut the flower from the Cherry Lowercase die set three times from white cardstock and inked the centers with Mustard Seed again.

Dann habe ich alles auf den weißen Cardstock mit den aufgewischten Strahlen geklebt. Hinter die kleinen Blüten und die Sprechblase habe ich dünnes, hinter den Kakadu dickes 3D Tape gesetzt. Außerdem habe ich einige gelbe Enamel Dots aufgeklebt. 

Zum Schluss habe ich den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Then I adhered all the elements onto the white cardstock that I had inked the yellow rays onto. I put thin foam tape behind the flowers and the speech bubble and thick one behind the cockadoo. I also added a few yellow Enamel Dots.

To finish the card I matted the cardstock black and attached it to a white note card.

LawnFawnatics Challenge #155

Das Thema der LawnFawnatics Challenge #155 ist "create a 3D card or project". Nachdem bei mir die Stempel und Stanzen aus dem neuen Release frisch eingezogen sind, habe ich natürlich davon etwas einweihen "müssen". Und auch wenn ich eigentlich gedacht hätte, ein anderes Set zuerst zu verwenden, kam es anders und ich habe diese Halloween Platform Pop-Up Card gemacht.

The theme of the LawnFawnatics Challenge #155 is "create a 3D card or project". After the stamps and dies from the latest release were delivered just yesterday, of course I "had" to use some of these. And even if I originally thought I'd use a different set first I changed my mind and made this Halloween Platform Pop-Up card.

Für das Grundgerüst des Karte habe ich die Platform Pop-Up Stanze von LawnFawn verwendet und mit den Platform Pop-Up Hillside Inserts sowie dem Gras aus dem Grundset für die Böden gefüllt. Gestanzt habe ich das Grundgerüst aus schwarzem Designpapier mit feinen Spinnennetzlinien, die Hügel habe ich aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock in veschiedenen Tönen gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Black Soot etwas gewischt. Aber das sieht man hinter all den Motiven kaum noch.

Ganz im Hintergrund habe ich noch die Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts verwendet. Sie sind aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Twisted Citron und Hickory Smoke gewischt. So grell-grün waren sie mir zu heftig, also habe ich sie mit dem Hickory Smoke runtergetönt, auch wenn sie dadurch dukler als eigentlich geplant geworden sind.

For the card base I used the Platform Pop-Up die by LawnFawn and cut the inside hills with the Platform Pop-Up Hillside Inserts and the grass with the die from the original set. I cut the base from black paterned paper with a thin spider web die pattern, the hills I cut from different shades of dark green cardstock and shaded them with Distress Ink Black Soot. But you actually can't really see that anymore under/behind all those images.

In the very back of the Platform Pop-Up I put some clouds, cut from white cardstock using the Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts. I inked them with Distress Ink Twisted Citron and Hickory Smoke. Just the Twisted Citron was too bright, so I toned the clouds down with the Hickory Smoke, even if that meant that they turned out darker than I wanted them to be.

So sieht meine Karte von vorne gesehen aus. Ganz vorne habe ich das Gartentor aus dem neuen Shadow Box Card Halloween Add-On Stanzenset gesetzt und für die Befestigung die Steinsäule aus dem Spooky Gate Stanzenset verwendet und der Länge nach halbiert. Dann habe ich rundum an den Rand einen zum Tor passenden Zaun gesetzt. Der ist mit der Spooky Fence Stanze gemacht und, ebenso wie das Tor, aus schwarz-metallischem Cardstock gestanzt. 

Vor den Steinsäulen habe ich links eine Laterne und rechts einen Kürbis, jeweils vor einem Stein, platziert. Der Kürbis ist aus dem Set Happy Harvest, die Laterne aus dem Set Spooky Gate, die Steine aus dem Stanzenset Spooky Forest Backdrop. 

This is the card seen frontal. I added the garden gate from the new Shadow Box Card Halloween Add-On die set in the very front and used the post from the Spooky Gate, cut in half lengthwise, to attach my gate. Then I attached a fence that matches the style of the gate all around my platform. It's cut from black cardstock with some kind of metallic finish - as is the gate - using the Spooky Fence die.

In front of the posts I put a lantern and a pumpkin and a stone on each side. The pumpkin is from the set Happy Harvest, the latern from the Spooky Gate die set and the stones frrom the Spooky Forest Backdrop die set.

Das Tor habe ich so gestaltet, dass es sich öffnen lässt - und dann erhält man auch einen besseren Blick auf die Motive dahinter. 

I created the gate with a hinge, so it can be opened - and then you can also see all those images behind it better.

Ich habe die Karte mal etwas von oben fotografiert - so sieht man die Elemente besser. Außerdem kann man so sehen, dass zwischen den Reihen doch relativ viel Platz ist und die Karte so eine tolle Tiefe erhält. Auf den Bildern ist das aber gar nicht so einfach festzuhalten.

Auf dem vordersten Hügel befindet sich der Wolf aus dem Stempelset Wolf Before 'n Afters, der hier den Vollmond anheult. Hinter ihm wächst etwas Gras aus dem Spooky Forest Backdrop Set, dahinter liegt ein großer Stein. Und links neben ihm sitzt ein kleiner Wolf, der sich passend zu Halloween einen Hexenhut aufgesetzt hat. Der Stein und der kleine Wolf sind aus dem Set Wild Wolves, der Hut aus dem Set Happy Howloween. Aus dem Set ist auch das Boooo, das der Wolf so laut heult. Ich habe es auf eine kleine Sprechblase gestempelt und dabei drei der O wegmaskiert, sonst hätte die Sprechblase einfach zu viel der Szene dahinter verdeckt. Dann habe ich die Sprechblase mit einem Streifen Folie befestigt, so dass sie in der Luft schwebt. 

Alle Motive der Karte sind übrigens mit Copics coloriert. 

In der Grasreihe dahinter stehen drei Grabsteine, auch die sind aus dem Spooky Forest Backdrop Set - genauso wie die beiden Geister, die dahinter hervorschauen. Die Grabsteine habe ich aus hellgrauem Cardstock gestanzt, mit Copics schattiert und außerdem mit Stempel(teilen) aus den Sets Booyah und Spooktacular bestempelt. Hier findet sich auch eine weitere Laterne und auf zwei der Grabsteinen sitzt eine kleine Spinne aus dem Shadow Box Card Halloween Add-On Set.

 

I took a picture from kind of above here - this way all the elements can be seen better. And you can also see, that there's actually pretty much room between the rows of images, which adds a wonderful depth to this card. It's just kind of hard to really fotograph.

On the front hill there's the wolf from the Wolf Before n' Afters stamp set, howing loud at the moon. Behind him there's some grass from the Spooky Forest Backdrops growing and behind it there's a large stone. And on the wolf's left is a smaller wolf, that is wearing a witch's hat for Halloween. The stone and the small wolf are from the Wild Wolves set, the hat is from the Happy Howloween set. From this set comes the Boooo, that the wolf is howling at the moon, also. I stamped it onto a small speech bubble, masking off three of the Os to avoid a large speech bubble cover too much of the scene behind it. Then I used a strip of acetate to attach the speech bubble to the back of the wolf and now it seems to float in the air.

All images on the card are colored with Copics.

In the row of grass behind the wolves there are three tombstones, again from the Spooky Forest Backdrop set, just like the two ghosts that are peeking from behind the tombstones. I die cut the stones from light grey cardstock, shaded them with Copics and stamped images (or better parts of them) from the sets Booyah and Spooktacular onto them. There's also another lantern and on two of the tombstones there are sitting tiny spiders from the Shadow Box Card Halloween Add-On set. 

In der dritten Reihe meines Szene wächst ein großer Baum, in dem eine Krähe sitzt.

Und in der letzten Reihe, direkt vor den Wolken, steht ein kleinerer Baum. Auch diese Motive sind alle aus dem Wild Wolves Stempelset. 

Zwischen die Wolken habe ich noch den Vollmond sowie zwei Fledermäuse, alle aus dem Shadow Box Card Halloween Add-On Stanzenset, angebracht. Der Mond ist aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Twisted Citron gewischt. Ich wollte für meine ganze Karte nur die Farben schwarz, grau und grün verwenden, also musste auch der Mond in dieses Farbschema passen. 

Die Wolken, die Banderole am Hexenhut, die Geister und den Kürbis sind mit Stickles beglittert. 

In the third row of my scene there's a large tree, on one of its branches there's a crow sitting.

And in the last row, directly in front of the clouds, there's a smaller tree. All of these images are again from the Wild Wolves stamp set.

Between the clouds I added a full moon and two bats, all from the Shadow Box Card Halloween Ad-On die set. I die cut the moon from white cardstock and lightly inked it with Distress Ink Twisted Citron. I wanted to use only black, greys and greens for my card, so the moon had to fit in that color scheme.

Onto the clouds, the band on the witch's hat, the ghosts and the pumpkin I put some Stickles. 

Zum Schluss fehlte nur noch ein Text auf meiner Karte. Ich habe das Happy Howl-o-Ween aus dem Set Spooktacular mit schwarzer Tinte auf hellgrünen Cardstock gestempelt und die Cardstockstreifen mit Black Soot etwas gewischt. Dann habe ich sie mit 3D Tape vorne auf die Karte geklebt. 

Und weil ich mir erst nicht sicher war, ob ich die Krähe oder die Eule aus dem Spooky Forest Backdrop Stanzenset in den Baum setzen wollte, mich dann aber für die Krähe entschieden habe, hatte ich die Eule übrig. Wegwerfen wollte ich sie natürlich nicht. Also habe ich sie kurzerhand vorne neben den Text geklebt. So bekommt der sogar eine zweite Bedeutung - schließlich steckt im Wort Howl auch das Wort Owl...

Last my card was only missing a text. I stamped the Happy Howl-o-Ween from the set Spooktacular with black ink onto strips of light green cardstock and shaded them a bit with Black Soot. Then I attached them with foam tape to the front of my platform base.

And since I wasn't sure at first, if I wanted the crow or the owl from the Spooky Forest Backdrop die set to sit in my tree, but then decided to use the crow there, I had that owl left over. Of course it is too cute to throw it away. So I simply attached it next to the text. And that also adds another meaning to it, because in the word howl there's also the word owl included....

Stampcorner September-Release Sneak #2

Heute zeige ich Euch ein weiteres Sneak auf das September-Release von Stampcorner. Es wird auch ein wunderschönes Set rund ums Thema Freundschaft geben. Und damit ist diese Karte entstanden.

Today I am sharing another sneak of the september release by Stampcorner. There will a beautiful set about friendship and that's what I used to make this card.

Ich war von vornherein auf eine pink-rot-weiß Kombi eingestellt. Also habe ich ein Herz aus dem oberen Bereich eines Stücks weißen Cardstocks gestanzt und das später als Rahmen für mein Motiv verwendet. Da mir aber dennoch irgendwie zu viel weiß vorhanden war, habe ich von außen her noch etwas Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo aufgewischt und die Farbe Richtung Herzausschnitt auslaufen lassen.

From the start I was set on a pink, red and white combo. So I die cut a heart from the upper area of a piece of white cardstock, that I wanted to use as a frame for my image later. But it felt like too much white, so I used Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo to ink the cardstock, starting at the edges and let the color fade out towards the heart cut out. 

Dieses Motiv finde ich so klasse - und es erinnert mich irgendwie total an meine Zwillinge. Nur die Größen wären hier vertauscht (oder ich habe die Haarfarben falsch gewählt). Das Motiv ist eher klein, denn eigentlich ist ein Text daneben, den habe ich hier aber weggeschnitten. Das Motiv habe ich mit Copics coloriert. 

Um das Herz zu hinterlegen, habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry und Lumberjack Plaid gewischt und etwas Wasser darauf gespritzt. Dann habe ich dickes 3D Tape genommen, um den Cardstock hinter das Fenster zu kleben.

Mit der Freunde-Stanze habe ich das Wort Freunde viermal aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und die Teile aufeinander geklebt. Dann habe ich der obersten Lage mit Copics ebenfalls einen Ombre-Look gegeben und außerdem etwas Stickles aufgetragen. Dannn habe ich es oben auf den Cardstock geklebt. Dahinter habe ich dann mit dünnem 3D Tape das Motiv gesetzt. Als Deko habe ich zwei rote Herzen hinzugefügt. 

Unter das Wort Freunde habe ich mit schwarzer Tinte ein "für immer" gestempelt - das ist Teil eines der weiteren Stempel aus dem neuen Set. Ebenso das #dreamteam, das ich oben links an den Rand der Karte geklebt habe. Zuvor habe ich es weiß auf roten Cardstock embosst und den Streifen dann mit schwarzem Cardstock hinterlegt.

I love this image - and it reminds me so much of my twins. Only the sizes are switched (or I did the hair the wrong way when coloring the image). It's a smaller image, because there's a text next to it. I cut that off for my card and only used the image. I colored the image with Copics.

I inked a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and Lumberjack Plaid and flicked some water onto it. Then I used that as the backdrop behind my frame, attaching it to the back of my cardstock with thick foam tape.

Using the Freunde-Stanze I die cut the word friends four times from red cardstock and stacked the pieces. Then I used my Copics to add an ombre look to the top layyer and also added a bit of Stickles. I glued it onto my background, then used thin foam tape to put the image behind the word. As decoration I added two small red hearts.

Under the word friends I stamped a "forever" with black ink - this text is also part of the new stamp set (I masked of the rest of the text here). And also the #dreamteam is from the set. I white heat embossed it onto red cardstock and matted the cardstock strip black.

An den unteren Rand der Karte habe ich noch kleine Stücke schwarzen Cardstocks sowie eines Reststückes vom gewischten Hintergrund hinter dem Herz aufgeklebt. Als Deko habe ich dann noch einen kleinen pinkfarbenen Kreis und ein weißes Herz auf das rote Cardstockstück geklebt. Außerdem habe ich den Herzrahmen mit einem roten Fineliner umrandet.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

To the bottom edge of my card I adhered small pieces of black cardstock and a piece of the left over cardstock I inked to back the heart cut out. I decorated the red piece with a small pink circle and a white heart. I also used a red fineliner to draw a line around the heart cut out.

To finish the card, I matted the cardstock black and attached everything to a white note card.

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Halloweenkarte - denn nach den Igelfreunden (die Karte habe ich Euch am Montag gezeigt) musste ich einfach die süßen Fledermäuse aus dem August-Release von Create a Smile verwenden. Und da passt eine Halloweenkarte doch am besten, oder?

Today I am sharing a halloween card with you - because after the Igelfreunde (I shared that card with you on monday) I just had to use the cute bats from Create a Smile's august release. And a halloween card was kind of obligatory with these.

 

Irgendwie war mir nach eine Halloween-Karte in türkis und lila, das ging für den Mond natürlich nicht. Also habe ich mich für ein gelbliches Hellgrün entschieden - wenn schon ungewöhnlich, dann ordentlich! Ich habe Mondschablonen genommen und erst den Himmel gewischt - gefüllten Kreis auf den Cardstock, dann den Schein des Mondes mit Distress Oxide Twisted Citron gewischt, dann den Himmel drumherum mit Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers und Uncharted Mariner. Dann habe ich gleich noch ein wenig Wasser für die oxididerten Flecken aufgespritzt, die ich auf dem Mond dann natürlich nicht haben wollte. Dann habe ich den Kreis entfernt, den nun weißen Kreis ganz leicht mit dem Twisted Citron gewischt und die Detail-Stanze des Mondes aufgelegt. Die Krater habe ich dann mit Twisted Citron und ein wenig Hickory Smoke aufgewischt. 

Mit der Desert Stencil habe ich dann einige Wolken aufgewischt - erst mit Wilted Violet, dann nur an den oberen Rändern mit ein wenig weißer Stempelfarbe. Und dann kam die neue Fledermäuse-Stencil zum Einsatz! Ich hatte keine schwarze Stencil-Paste da, aber habe in meinem Bestand noch ein schwarzes Gilding Polish gefunden, das tatsächlich noch nicht eingetrocknet war. Damit habe ich die Fledermäuse dann an den Himmel gesetzt. Dabei habe ich ein wenig des Gilding Polish am Rand der Stencil vorbei auf den Mond gebracht und konnte es nicht mehr komplett entfernen. Naja, an Halloween ist ja so einiges am Himmel unterwegs, da stört der Fleck jetzt nicht so extrem. Mich hat er auf jeden Fall nicht genug gestört, um den kompletten Hintergrund nochmal zu machen.

I felt like making a halloween card in aqua and purple, but none of those colors really worked for a moon. So I decided to go with a yellow-ish green. I used some moon stencils and started with the sky - I put the solid circle onto the cardstock and inked the glow of the moon with Distress Oxide Twisted Citron, then created the sky around it with Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner. Then I flicked some water onto the sky for the oxidiced speckles, that I only wanted on the sky and not the moon. I removed the solid circle stencil, inked the now white circle lightly with Twisted Citron and put the moon detail stencil on topo. Then I inked the craters with Twisted Citron and a bit of Hickory Smoke. 

Using the Desert stencil I added a few clouds to the sky - first with Wilted Violet, then I added a bit of white ink only to the top of the clouds. And then I brought out the new bats stencil. I didn't have any black stenciling paste, but found some black gilding polish that hadn't dried out yet. That's what I used to stencil the bats. I accidently smeared some of the gilding polish over the edge of the stencil and onto the moon. It was impossible to completly remove it. Well, it's Halloween and you never know what's flying around in the sky that night, so it didn't bother me too much. And definately not enough to re-do the whole background.

Bei den Motiven habe ich neben der großen Fledermaus und dem Baum aus dem Set Abhängen noch Stempel einiger anderer Sets ins Spiel gebracht. Aber diese Fledermaus mit der Brille musste es sein, in die habe ich mich sofort verliebt! Die kleine Fledermaus (die es in etwas größer auch im oben genannten Set gibt) ist aus dem ebenfalls neuen Herbst Minis Set - ich wollte lieber die etwas keinere Variante, so dass es so aussieht, als stünde der Baum etwas im Hintergrund. Die Krähe und die Kürbisse sind aus dem Set Krähm de la Krähm. Ich habe alle Motive mit Copics coloriert - entweder in Türkis oder in Lila und dabei jeweils etwas schwarz und dunkles Grau für die Schatten dazugemischt. Die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht. 

Der größeren Fledermaus habe ich eine hellgrüne Schnur zwischen die Flügel gegeben, von der ein Boo herabhängt. Die Buchstaben sind mit dem Lemon Alphas Stanzenset aus leuchtend-grünem Cardstock gestanzt, außerdem habe ich sie etwas grün beglittert. Und die Brillengläser der Fledermaus habe ich natürlich mit Glossy Accents überzogen. 

Für den Hügel und das Gras bin ich fremdgegangen. Den Hügel habe ich aus dunkel-lilanem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Black Soot schattiert, das Gras aus heller lilanem Cardstock und dann mit Villanious Potion schattiert.

Der Text ist aus dem Set Der Herbst ist Da. Eigentlich ist er dreizeilig und heiß schaurig schöne Halloween-Grüße. Ich habe das Halloween wegmaskiert und nur den Rest des Textes in einer Zeile auf schwarzen Cardstock gestempelt und weiß embosst. 

For the images I did not only use the new Abhängen stamp set for the large at and the tree, but also brought out a few other sets. But I had to use this cute bat with the glasses, I fell in love with her at first sight! The small bat (a larger version of it is included in said stamp set) is from the also new Herbst Minis stamp set - I wanted the smaller version so it looks like the tree is standing a bit further away. The crow and the pumpkins are from the Krähm de la Krähm stamp set. I colored all images with Copics - either turquoise or purple, mixing a bit of black and dark grey for the deep shadows in to the mix. The highlights I made with a white gel pen.

The glued a piece of light green twine between the larger bat's wings and let a BOO hang from it. The letters I cut with the Lemon Alphas die set from some bright green cardstock and also put some green glitter onto them. And the bat's glasses are - of course - covered with some Glossy Accents. 

For the hills and the grass I used dies from different brands. I die cut the hill from dark purple cardstock and shaded it with Black Soot, the grass I cut from a slightly lighter purpler cardstock and shaded it with Villanious Potion. 

The text is white heat embossed onto black cardstock, it means "spooky halloween greetings" (that's the best I can translate it). 

Dann musste ich meine Szene nur noch zusammensetzen. Den Hügel habe ich mit Kleber direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Der Baum mit der kleinen Fledermaus ist mit dünnem, die Krähe, die Kürbisse, die Graslage und die große Fledermaus mit dickerem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Auf dem Gras habe ich dann den Text wieder mit dem dünneren Tape befestigt. Dann habe ich alles noch schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Then I only had to put the scene together. I attached the hill to the background with liquid glue. The tree with the small bat I attached with thin, the crow, the pumpkins, the grass and the large bat with tick foam tape. To the grass I adhered the text with thin foam tape. Then I matted the scene black and adhered everything to a white note card.

Grün, grün, grün....

Sicher kennt ihr alle das Kinderlied. Wenn man diese Karte anschaut, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige, ist es wohl kein Wunder, dass ich das Lied während dem Basteln die ganze Zeit im Kopf hatte. Aber ich wollte einfach farblich beim Frosch bleiben.

Green, green, green - there's a german song for children with one verse dedicated to each color. And well, when you take a look at this card, that I'm sharing over on the Stampcorner Blog today, I don't think you wonder why I had that song playing in my head all the time while making the card. But I really wanted to stick to the frog's colors here.

 

 Nun, ich bin mir fast sicher, dass dieser Frosch auf meiner Karte ein Laubfrosch ist - bei so vielen Blättern um ihn herum!

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Cracked Pistacchio, Lucky Clover und Rustic Wilderness gewischt. Darauf kam dann die Blätterlage - gestanzt mit der Leafy Layer Cover-Up von MFT aus hellgrünem Cardstock. Und weil mir der Kontrast zu dem sehr dunklen Grün im unteren Bereich meines Hintergrundes dann doch etwas zu hart war, habe ich nur dort ein wenig des Cracked Pistacchio auch auf die Blätterlage gewischt.

Ich habe beide Lagen aufeinander geklebt und dann etwas Copic Opaque White aufgespritzt. Ich nehme ja auch gerne verdünnte Acrylfarbe, aber gerade wenn ich einen Hintergrund gewischt habe, greife ich am liebsten zu dem Opaque White, denn es verfärbt sich nicht, egal wie frisch die Farbe darunter noch ist.

Well, I am pretty sure this is a tree frog - there are so many leaves around him!

For the background I inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Cracked Pistacchio, Lucky Clover and Rustic Wilderness. On top I put the leaves layer - die cut with the Leafy Layer Cover-Up die by MFT from light green cardstock. And since the contrast to the very dark green at the bottom of my background was a bit too harsh for my taste, I added just a bit of the Cracked Pistacchio just to the bottom of the leaf cover.

I glued both layers together and then flicked some Copics Opque White on top. I like to use white acrylic paint as well, but especially with an inked background I prefer the Opaque White, because it doesn't pick up any of the color from underneath, no matter how freshly inked it is.

Und hier ist der süße Frosch in Großaufnahme. Er ist aus dem Set Sei kein Frosch und mit Copics coloriert. Für die Highlights habe ich einen weißen Gelstift benutzt, die Augen habe ich außerdem mit einer dicken Lage Glossy Accents überzogen. 

Dann habe ich den Frosch ausgeschnitten und in einen Polaroid-Rahmen gesetzt. Dahinter wachsen noch ein paar Rohrkolben von CraftEmotions, außerdem habe ich hellblauen Cardstock als Hintergrund dagegen geklebt. Dabei habe ich den Körper des Frosch direkt an die Rückseite des Rahmens geklebt und oben am Kopf dickes 3D Tape verwendet. Dann habe ich zusätzlich eine Lage dünnen 3D Tapes auf allen Teilen verteilt - so ist zum blauen Hintergrund etwas Abstand zum Rahmen und es sieht zusätzlich so aus, als würde der Frosch aus dem Rahmen herausschauen. 

Den Text habe ich auf den breiteren Streifen am unteren Rand des Polaroid-Rahmens gestempelt. Er ist mit einer Mischung aus Stempeln aus den Sets Liebe Grüße und Sweetie gemacht. Und natürlich ist er an die kleine Libelle gerichtet, die über dem Rahmen schwebt. Ob der Frosch das einfach nur lieb meint oder ob er eventuell and einen kleinen Snack denkt, kann ich nicht genau sagen.... Die Libelle ist ebenfalls aus dem Set Sweetie und wieder mit Copics coloriert. Hier habe ich die Flügel mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Und irgendwie war mir die Karte dann doch noch viel zu kahl. Also habe ich drei Kreise aus Vellum gestanzt und hinter den Rahmen geklebt. Auf zwei der Kreise habe ich dann noch Blätter, gestanzt aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock, gesetzt.

And here's the cute frog in a close-up. He's from the Sei kein Frosch stamp set and colored with Copics. I used a white gel pen for the highlights and also put a thick layer of Glossy Accents onto the eyes.

Then I cut the frog out and put him into a Polaroid frame. Behind some cattails are growing, made with a die by CraftEmotions, and I also added some light blue cardstock as a sky backdrop. I glued the frog's body directly to the back of the frame and put some thick foam tape behind the top of his head. Then I added another layer of thin foam tape all around the frame - this way there's some distance behind the sky and the frame and it also looks, like the frog is curiously looking out of the frame.

I stamped the text directly onto the wider  area at the bottom of the frame. It means "hey sweetie", and of course is said in the direction of the little dragonfly, that's flying above the frame. I have no idea if the frog just wants to be nice or if he's thinking of a little snack here.... Again I used Copics to color the dragonfly and added some Glossy Accents onto the wings.

And then my card still looked a bit plain to me. So I die cut three circles from vellum and put those behind the frame. Onto two I also added some leaves, die cut from dark green cardstock.

Dann habe ich noch mehr des dünnen 3D Tapes verwendet um alle Elemente auf den Hintergrund zu kleben und habe zudem alles mit ein paar hellblauen Pailetten dekoriert. 

Da die Leafy Layer Stanze ja dem amerikanischen A2 Format entspricht, habe ich hier auf eine Mattung verzichtet und alles auf einen ebenso großen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt, damit die Karte nicht zu groß für ein normales Kuvert wird.

Then I used more of the thin foam tape to attach all elements onto my background and added a few light blue sequins as decoration.

Since the Leafy Layer die cut is the size of an american A2 card I skipped the mat here and just adhered everything to a white card base the same size, so the card still fits into a regular german envelope.

Stampcorner September-Release Sneak #1

Es ist wieder Sneak-Zeit! Heute gibt es von mir das erste Sneak auf die September-Neuheiten von Stampcorner. Ich sage nur: es wird schon weihnachtlich. Nun, ich konnte mich wirklich nicht überwinden, eine Weihnachtskarte zu machen, ich bin einfach noch nicht bereit dafür. Und so habe ich nach einer Möglichkeit gesucht, das weihnachtliche Set aus dem Release anders zu verwenden. Und so geht es heute herbstlich weiter.

It's sneak time again. Today I am sharing the first sneak of the september release by Stampcorner. And I have to tell you: it's getting christmas-sy. Well, I really couldn't make myself make a christmas card, I am just not ready for that. So I looked for a way to use the christmas stamp set from the release in a different way. And so it's getting fall-ish again today.

Ich habe hier für den Hintergrund in zwei Stücke weißen Cardstocks, einen in der Größe meiner üblichen Kartenaufleger sowie ein kleineres Quadrat, mit einem Embossingfolder das Holzmuster geprägt. Um das Muster ein klein wenig mehr hervor zu heben, habe ich dann ganz leicht Distress Oxide Lost Shadow und Pumice Stone auf die erhabenen Stellen aufgewischt. Dann habe ich noch goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

For the background I dry embossed two pieces of white cardstock, on the usual size I do for my cards and an additional smaller square, with a wood pattern embossing folder. To bring out the pattern a bit better I lightly brushed some Distress Oxide Lost Shadow and Pumice Stone onto the raised lines. Then I also flicked some gold metallic watercolor onto the cardstock.

In besagtem Weihnachtsset ist ein wunderschöner Kranz enthalten. Den habe ich verwendet, um einen Herbstkranz zu gestalten. Dafür habe ich den Kranz mehrfach abgestempelt und dabei immer ein klein wenig gedreht, so sieht er voller aus. Zum Stempeln habe ich gelbe, orangefarbene und rote Tinte verwendet. Dann habe ich den Kranz per Hand ausgeschnitten und mit einem roten Enamel Accents einige kleine Beeren hinzugefügt.

Um den Kranz noch herbstlicher zu gestalten, habe ich ihn mit Eicheln und einigen bunten Blättern geschmückt. Die Eicheln sind von LawnFawn und aus den Stempelsets Cheery Christmas und Let's Go Nuts, die Blätter sind aus dem Stempelset Herbsttiere von Stampcorner. Alle sind mit Copics in No-Line Technik coloriert. 

Auf die Blätter habe ich dann eine Schleife aus hellbraunem Twine und eine der Eicheln geklebt, die übrigen Eicheln habe ich rundum auf dem Kranz verteilt. 

Das große Wort autumn ist aus dem Stempelset Scripty Autumn Sentiments von LawnFawn und ebenfalls in den drei Farbtönen gestempelt, die ich bereits für den Kranz verwendet habe. Dabei habe ich ihm einen Ombre-Look gegeben. Dann habe ich das Wort mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt und auf den Kranz geklebt.

Der kleine Text darunter ist mit Stempeln aus den Sets Kleine Worte und Kleine Worte 2 gemacht und weiß auf braunen Cardstock embosst.

Das kleinere Stück geprägten Cardstocks habe ich mit dunkelbraunem Cardstock gemattet und dann mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Das habe ich auch benutzt, um den Kranz darauf sowie den kleinen Text unter dem Quadrat auf dem Hintergrund zu befestigen. 

In said christmas stamp set there's included a beautiful wreath. I used it here to create a fall wreath. I stamped it several times, turning it a bit each time between stamping it. This way it looks fuller. I used yellow, orange and red ink to stamp it. I cut the wreath out with my scissors and added a few tiny berries with a red Enamel Accents.

To make the wreath even more fall-ish, I added a few acorns and colored leaves. The acorns are from the sets Cheery Christmas and Let's Go Nuts by LawnFawn, the leaves come in the Herbsttiere set by LawnFawn. I colored all of them with Copics doing the no-line technique. 

On top of the leaves I put a bow, tied from brown twine, and one of the acorns on top. The other acorns I glued onto the wreath.

The small text under the square means "hello fall". I white heat embossed it onto some dark brown cardstock. 

I matted the smaller piece of the dry embossed cardstock dark brown and then attached it with thin foam tape to the background. I used the same tape to adhere the wreath to the square and also the small text to the larger background.

Zum Schluss habe ich drei kleine goldene Perlen aufgeklebt, alles dunkelbraun gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

To finish the card, I added three small gold pearls, matted the cardstock dark brown and attached everything to a white note card.

Bereit für was Herbstliches?

Nachdem ich Euch das letzte Mal ja schon eine winterliche Karte gezeigt habe, folgt heute eine Herbstkarte. Und das diesmal mit voller Absicht! Es ist ja nicht mehr lange hin und nachdem das Stempelset Pine and Posy von MamaElephant bei mir eingezogen ist und das definitv entweder nach einer herbstlichne oder winterlichen Karte schreit, habe ich mich für den Herbst entschieden. Auf das Farbenspiel in der Natur freue ich mich schon!

After sharing a pretty winterish card last time, I am continueing with a fall card today. And that's totally intentionally! It's not long anymore and after getting the Pine and Posy stamp set by MamaElephant, that's definately either fall or winter, I decdided to go with fall here. I am really looking forward to all those colors to appear in nature!

 

Ich habe hier die Motive auf Watercolor Cardstock gestempelt und dabei den großen Stempel sowie das Arrangement mit der Blüte aus dem Set Pine and Posy verwendet - die Blüte habe ich extra gestempelt und später ausgeschnitten - sowie einzelne Zweige und Blüten aus dem Set Stems and Sprigs. Zum Abstempeln habe ich das Jellyfish Stempelkissen von LawnFawn benutzt. Das finde ich perfekt für No-Line Coloring.

 

Here I stamped the images on watercolor cardstock using the big stamp and the floral arrangement from the set Pine and Posy - I stamped the flower on a different sheet of cardstock and cut it out later - and some individual sprigs and flowers from the set Stems and Sprigs. I used the Jellyfish ink pad by LawnFawn to stamp the images - I think it's perfect for no-line coloring.

 

 Zum Colorieren habe ich dann meine ZIG Real Brush Marker benutzt und die feinen Zweige später mit Polychromos dazugemalt. Nur die Blüten habe ich mit Polychromos nochmal nachgemalt - da hatte ich mich bei den ZIGs irgendwie total in der Farbkombi vergriffen, und natürlich habe ich die als letztes coloriert. Da ich nicht noch mal komplett von vorne beginnen wollte - No-Line Coloring dauert bei mir immer ewig, vor allem bei so detailreichen Motiven - habe ich versucht, sie mit Polychromos zu retten. Die Farbe finde ich trotzdem immer noch etwas eigenwillig....

Rund um die Motive habe ich dann mit einem hellblauen Polychromo noch etwas Farbe aufgetragen, die durch die rauhere Oberfläche des Watercolor Cardstocks nicht ganz gleichmäßig ausgefallen ist, aber das macht mir nichts.

To color the images I used my ZIG Real Brush Markers and later re-drew the thin stems with Polychromos. Only for the flowers I used Polychromos as well - I had used an absolutely strange ZIG color combo for those, and of course those were the last elements to color. Since I didn't want to re-do the whole image - no-line coloring always takes forever, especially with such detailed images - I tried to salvage them with my Polyhromos. I still think, their color is kind of strange....

Around the images I added some very light color using a Polychromo again. Due to the not completely smooth surface of the watercolor cardstock, you can still see the structure a bit, but it doesn't bother me.

Oben links in die Ecke habe ich einen Text, ebenfalls aus dem Stems and Sprigs Stempelset, mit brauner Tinte aufgestempelt und dabei darauf geachtet, dass daneben noch genug Platz für die Blüte war. Die wollte ich ursprünglich unten an der Kante auf den Rahmen setzen, aber sie hätte einfach zu viel des großen Motivs verdeckt. Deswegen habe ich sie hier oben angebracht.

Into the top left corner I stamped this text, also from the Stems and Sprigs stamp set, using brown ink, making sure there was still room for the individual flower image. Originally I wanted to place that onto the frame at the bottom left, but I would have covered too much of the main image. So I changed my mind and moved it up.

Mit zwei der Rectangle Stitch Stanzen von Stampcorner habe ich aus goldenem Glittercardstock den Rahmen ausgestanzt und mit dünnem 3D Tape auf das Motiv geklebt. Darauf kam dann, wieder mit 3D Tape, die einzelne Blume. Als Deko habe ich noch ein paar kleine goldene Perlen hinzugefügt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Using two of the Rectangle Stitch dies by Stampcorner I die cut the frame from gold glitter cardstock and adhered it to the image with thin foam tape. Then, using foam tape again, I added the flower to the top left corner. I added a few small gold pearls as decoration and then adhered everything onto a white note card.

Kennt Ihr das - Ihr bekommt eine Stempellieferung und dann sitzt Ihr davor und tut Euch echt schwer, zu entscheiden, was davon denn jetzt zuerst verwendet wird. So ging es mir mit dem neusten Release von Create a Smile. Am Ende habe ich mich dann für das herbstliche Set Igelfreunde entschieden. Und so durfte zumindest schon mal einer der Igel auf eine Karte hüpfen.

Finally I decided to start with the fall-ish Igelfreunde set. And so at least one of those cute hedgehogs made it onto a card.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück hell-türkisfarbenen Cardstock genommen und dann mit der Layered Leaves Stencil und Distress Oxide Peeled Paint, Festive Berries und Ground Espresso Blätter aufgewischt. Dabei habe ich darauf geachtet, dass jedes Blatt sowohl grün als auch rot eingefärbt wird. Dann habe ich den Stencil entfernt und den Cardstock vom Rand her ein wenig mit Salvaged Patina und Peacock Feathers gewischt. Das hat nicht nur den Rand des Cardstocks etwas abgedunkelt sondern auch die Blätter hier ein wenig überdeckt. Dann habe ich noch weiße Acrylfarbe auf den Cardstock gespritzt..

For the background I used a piece of light aqua cardstock and then inked some fall leaves onto it using the Layered Leaves stencil and Distress Oxide Peeled Paint, Festive Berries and Ground Espresso. I made sure, that each leave has a mix of green and red. I removed the stencil and inked the edges of the cardstock with Salvaged Patina and a bit of Peacock Feathers. That did not only darken the edges of the cardstock, but also toned down the leaves there. Then I flicked some white acrylic paint onto the cardstock.

Hier ist der süße Igel - er hat jede Menge Spaß mit allem, das der Herbst so mit sich bringt, und balanciert gekonnt einen Apfel, eine Eichel und ein Blatt auf seiner Nasenspitze. Dabei steht er auch noch auf einem Baumstumpf. Ein echte Artist, der keine Kerl! Die Motive sind alle aus dem Set Igelfreunde und mit Copics coloriert.

Rund um den Baumstumpf  habe ich einige Pilze, gemacht mit den Pilzparade Stanzen, aufgestellt. Sie sind aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und wieder mit Copics coloriert. Und die Steine rund um den Baumstumpf sind aus dem Set Fette Überraschung. 

Aus weißem Cardstock habe ich auch einige Birken gestanzt, die Stanzen sind von MFT und JoyCrafts. Jeweils von einer Seite habe ich ein wenig Distress Oxide Hickory Smoke aufgewischt und dann die Bäume auf den Hintergrund geklebt - die inneren direkt, die äußeren mit dünnem 3D Tape. 

Nun war es so, dass die gewischten Blätter in der Mitte des Hintergrunds doch recht intensiv waren. Und weil ich die selben Farben verwendet habe, mit denen ich auch die Motive coloriert habe, gab es irgendwie gar keinen richtigen Kontrast zwischen Hintergrund und Motiven. Also habe ich mit einer der Rounded Corners Stanzen ein Stück Vellum ausgestanzt und es als Zwischenlage verwendet. Es verdeckt auch die inneren Birken und ich finde, die Szene wirkt dadurch, als würde noch etwas des morgendlichen Nebels zwischen den Bäumen hängen. 

Here's the cut hedgehog - he's having lots of fun with everything, fall provides and is balancing an apple, an acorn and a leave on the tip of his nose, all  that while he's standing on a tree stump. He's a real artist! All those images are from the Igelfreunde stamp set and colored with Copics.

Around the tree stump I planted a few mushrooms, made using the Pilzparade die set. I cut them from white cardstock and colored them with Copics, too. And the stones around the tree stump are from the Fette Überraschung stamp set.

From white cardstock I also cut some birch trees, using dies by MFT and JoyCrafts. I used Distress Oxide Hickory Smoke to lightly shade only one side of each tree, then attached the trees to the backgound, the inner ones with liquid glue, the outer ones with thin foam tape.

Well, it happened that the leaves on the background were pretty bright in the center. And since I used the same colors for the leaves that I also used to color the images there wasn't a real contrast between both. So I die cut one of the Rounded Corners from vellum and used it to tones those leaves down. The vellum also covers the inner birch trees and I think, that makes the scene look like some of the fall morning mist is still hanging between the trees.

Die Motive habe ich dann wieder mit 3 Tape auf die Karte geklebt.

Nun fehlte meiner Karte noch ein Text. Die sind aus dem Stempelset Der Herbst ist Da und weiß auf roten Cardstock embosst. Dann habe ich auch sie mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles noch braun gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I used foam tape again to adhere the images to the card.

Now my card needed a text. These are from the Der Herbst ist Da stamp set and mean "rustling leaves" and "colorful fall greetings". I white heat embossed them onto strips of red cardstock and attached them with foam tape.

As a last step I matted the cardstock dark brown and adhered it to a white note card.
