Eine Karte zur Geburt

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Ich habe Euch ja gerade erst die Karte zum ersten Geburtstag meiner Enkelin gezeigt. Nun, fast auf den Tag genau ein Jahr später kam mein drittes Enkelkind zur Welt. Und ja, alle drei sind von meiner Großen... 

Auf jeden Fall musste natürlich auch hier eine Karte her und das war die perfekte Gelegenheit, endlich die Silly Goose von TheGreetery einzuweihen.

I just shared the card for my granddaughter's first birthday with you. Well, nearly exactly one year later my third grandchild was born. And yes, all three are from my oldest daughter...

Of course I had to make a card for that special occasion as well and it was the perfect moment to finally use the Silly Goose by TheGreetery.

 

Die Papiere auf der Karte sind alle von LawnFawn - aus den Pads Watercolor Wishes und Spiffy Speckles. 

Im Hintergrund befindet sich ein Stück hellgelben Papiers. Das ist zwar ein wenig gemustert, war mir aber doch einen Ticken zu fad. Also habe ich mit leicht dunklerer Tinte den Birthday Background von MFT aufgestempelt. Ja, das ist ein Geburtstagstext, aber wenn die Geburt nicht der wahre Geburtstag ist, dann weiß ich auch nicht. Außerdem sieht man vom Text eh nicht viel, er macht den Hintergrund aber interessanter.

 

The papers on this card are all by LawnFawn - from Watercolor Wishes and Spiffy Speckles. 

In the background there's a piece of light yellow cardstock. It has a soft pattern, but it looked a bit too plain to me. So I used some slightly darker ink to stamp the Birthday Background by MFT onto it. Yes, it's a birthday related text, but if the day of birth isn't a birthday, then I don't know what it. You also don't see much of it, but it definately makes the background more interesting.

 

 Aus einem hellblauen Bogen habe ich dann das kleinere der gewellten Ovale aus dem Capsule Basics Stanzenset von TheGreetery ausgestanzt und von unten her ganz leicht mit Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon gewischt. Dabei habe ich den äußeren Rand des Ovals abgedeckt. damit hier der hellblaue Cardstock sichtbar bleibt. Auf die Mitte des Papiers habe ich dann auch noch ein wenig weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Auf diese Oval kam dann ein hellgrünes. Auf das habe ich einen der Sweetest Frame Capsule Edition weiß aufembosst und nur entlang der inneren Kante mit der passende Stanze ausgestanzt. 

 

From a light blue sheet of the same paper I die cut the smaller scalloped oval from Capsule Basics by TheGreetery and softly inked the bottom with Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon. I covered the outer area of the scalloped oval to have the original paper visible here. Onto the center of the oval I also added some fine splatters of white acrylic paint.

Onto that oval I placed a light green one. I white heat embossed one of the Sweetest Frame Capsule Edition onto it, then used the matching die to only cut out the inner portion.

 

 In die beiden Rahmen habe ich dann Mama und Baby Gans eingeklebt. Alle Motive, also auch die Blumen, sind aus dem schon erwähnten Silly Goose set. Ich habe sie aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Der kleinen Gans habe ich eine hellblaue Schleife um den Hals gelegt, Mama Gans trägt stolz einen Sommerhut. 

Die Motive sind alle jeweils mit einer weiteren Lage aus weißem Cardstock hinterlegt. Rechts und links habe ich jeweils eine Blume aus dem Rahmen herausragen lassen, ein paar weitere kleine Blümchen befinden sich rund um die Füße der Gänse. 

Und unter den Füßen habe ich dann meinen Text aufgeklebt. Der ist aus dem Stempelset Bunny Tales und weiß auf grünes Designpapier embosst.

 

Into the frames I put mom and baby goose. All images, also the flowers, are from said set Silly Goose. I  die cut them from white cardstock and colored them with Copics. I put a light blue bow around the little goose's neck, mom goose is proudly wearing a summer hat.

I backed all the images with a second layer, cut from white cardstock. On the right and left side I let some flowers grow out of the frame, more tiny ones are around the geese's feet. 

Underneath the feet I added my text. It's from the Bunny Tales stamp set and white heat embossed onto green patterned paper.

 

 Aus dem selben grünen Papier, auf das ich den Text gestempelt habe, habe ich dann noch die größere der Regency Bows No. 1 ausgestanzt und ebenfalls ein wenig schattiert. Die habe ich an den oberen Rand der Ovale geklebt, die Bänderenden laufen fast über die komplette Karte.

 

From the same green paper, that I stamped the text onto, I cut the larger one of the Regency Bow No. 1 set and shaded it lightly. I glued that to the top of the ovals, the ribbon tails go nearly down to the bottom of the card.

 

 Die Karte habe ich dann mit 3D Tape zusammengesetzt und als Deko drei blaue Herzen auf das hellblaue Papier geklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling angebracht.

 

I put the card together using foam tape and added three blue clay heart to the light blue paper.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Babykarte der anderen Art

Ende Februar gab es ein neues Release von Create a Smile, unter anderem mit einem absolut goldigen Hühnerset. Die musste ich haben - und ich hatte sofort die Idee zu dieser Karte im Kopf. Nachdem der Poststreik die Lieferung diesmal doch ziemlich verzögert hat, hat es etwas gedauert, bis ich sie umsetzen konnte. Aber heute kann ich Euch das Ergebnis endlich zeigen.

Create a Smile had a new release end of february, and there's an adorable set with chickens included. I just had to have them - and immediately had the idea for this card in mind. German post were striking so it took some time until I was able to turn the idea into a card but today I am finally able to share that with you.

 

Den Hintergrund für meine Szene habe ich auf weißen Cardstock gewischt und dabei einen Wolken- sowie den Feld- und Wiesen-Stencil von Create a Smile benutzt. Der Himmel ist mit Distress Oxide Broken China, das Gras mit Peeled Paint und ein wenig Rustic Wilderness gewischt. Den Sandboden im Hühnerhof habe ich dann mit Gathered Twigs gewischt und anschließend etwas Ground Espresso sowie weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. 

Quer über den Hintergrund habe ich noch einen Farm-Zaun, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, geklebt.

 

I created the background for my card on a piece of white cardstock and used a cloud and a grass stencil by Create a Smile for it. The sky I inked with Distress Oxide Broken China, the grass with Peeled Paint and a bit of Rustic Wilderness. The sandy ground in the chicken run I did with Gathered Twigs, then splattered a bit of Ground Espresso and also some white acrylic paint onto it.

Across the background I glued a farm fence, cut from white cardstock.

 

 Auf dem Hühnerhof herrscht große Aufregung - Nachwuchs ist da! Während der Gockel - ganz stolzer Vater - die freudige Nachricht noch vom Misthaufen aus laut krähend verkündet, ist die Henne vom Nachbarhof schon da, um den Nachwuschs zu begutachten. Der liegt weich in einem Nest, das auf einer Holzkiste liegt, und die stolze Mutter steht gleich daneben und lässt die Eier nicht aus den Augen.

Ich fand die Idee einfach lustig, um mal eine etwas andere Babykarte zu machen. Die Hühner und der Misthaufen sind aus dem Set Kikeriki, die Eier und die Gedankenblase mit dem Herz aus dem Set Liebesmöwen und die Holzkiste ist aus dem Set Auf dem Markt. Das Kikeriki habe  ich in eine Sprechblase gestempelt, die ich schwarz hinterlegt habe. Coloriert habe ich mit Copics.

 

Everyone is really excited over on the chicken farm: some new offsprings were born! While the rooster - all proud dad - is crowing loudly on top of the muck heap to announce the news, the hen from the farm next door has already arrived to get a look at the offspring. This is laying in a soft and warm nest, placed on top of a wooden box, and the proud mom is standing next to it, not letting the eggs out of sight. I just think, this is a cute idea for a not so ordinary baby card.

I stamped the kikeriki - cock-a-doodle-doo - onto a speech bubble and matted that black. To color the images in I used my Copics.

 

 Unter die Szene, ans untere Ende Karte, habe ich den Text gesetzt. Der besteht aus einem aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzten "herzlichen Glückwunsch" und einem kleineren "zum Nachwuchs" darunter. Ich fand "zum Baby" etwas komisch in Kombination mit den Eiern, hatte aber tatsächlich keinen Stempel mit dem Text "zum Nachwuchs". Also habe ich den kurzerhand mit dem Dymo geschrieben.

 

Under the scene, at the bottom of my card, I glued down my text. It's made from a "congratulations", cut from black cardstock and a smaller "on your offspring". I have no odea if this text makes sense in english, but it does in german. I just didn't want to use the word "baby" in combination with the eggs, it seemed a bit weird. And since I didn't have a stamp with the right text I just created it with my Dymo.

 

 Zaun und Misthaufen mit Hahn sind direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Die beiden Hühner sind mit dünnem, die Holzkiste samt Nest mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt.

Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

Fence and muck heap with the rooster are glued directly onto the background. I put thin foam tape behind the cickens and thick behind the crate and nest.

Then I adhered the card panel to a white note card.

 

LawnFawnatics Challenge #188

Heute zeige ich Euch meine Karte für die Let's Celebrate LawnFawnatics Challenge. Gefragt sind Karten zu allem, was man feiern kann. Und da ich bald eine Babykarte brauche, habe ich sie für die Challenge gemacht.

Today I am sharing with you my card for the Let's Celebrate LawnFanatics Challenge. Make any card for any reason to celebrate. I'll need a baby card soon so I made that as my challenge entry.

Vor etwa zwei Wochen konnte ich einem Flohmarkt das Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum Stempelset ergattern, das schon lange auf meiner Liste stand, das aber ja längst in Rente geschickt wurde. Und die Stempel passen so süß auf eine Babykarte. Naja, die Hintergrundstanze musste ich mir dann erst bestellen, deswegen habe ich die Karte erst jetzt gemacht... ;) 

Ich habe hier die Giant Outlined Hello Baby Stanze benutzt und aus weißem und hellrosa Cardstock gestanzt. Dann habe ich die rosafarbenen Buchstaben anstelle der weißen an ihren Platz geklebt. Zuerst hatte ich hellgrauen Cardstock hinter alles gesetzt - das sah aber schrecklich fad aus. Also habe ich den grauen Cardstock wieder herausgeschnitten - er war leider schon fest verklebt - und stattdessen einen gewischten Hintergrund gestaltet. Dafür habe ich weißen Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry und Black Soot gewischt und silberne Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

Außerdem habe ich den Sunray Backdrop aus Vellum gestanzt und auf den gewischten Hintergrund geklebt.

Naja, und weil ich eh schon am stanzen war, habe ich die Hello Baby Stanze nochmal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und oben aufgeklebt, so dass die rosafarbenen Buchstaben ein wenig tiefer liegen. Außerdem habe ich das übrig gebliebene rosafarbene Stanzteil hinter die verschiedenen Lagen geklebt, so dass die Schrift generell etwas nach oben rutscht und nicht direkt auf dem gewischten Hintergrund aufliegt. 

Die Sterne habe ich dann noch aus dunkelpinkem Cardstock, die Streifen hinter den Sternen in den Ecken - Ihr könnt hier nur noch einen davon sehen - aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt und ebenfalls in den Hintergrund eingesetzt.

About two weeks ago I was able to score the Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum stamp set in a destash group. It has been on my list for a long time but has long been retired. Those stamps are so perfect for a baby card. Well, I had to buy the background die for my card that's why I wasn't able to use the stamp set right away... ;)

I used the Giant Outlined Hello Baby die and cut it from white and light pink cardstock. Then I paper pieced the pink letters into the white background. First I had put some light grey cardstock behind the die cut text - but that looked awefully boring. So I cut it away - sadly it was already glued down and there was no way to take it off again - and instead created an inked background. I innked a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry and Black Soot and splattered silver metallic watercolor on top.

I also die cut the Sunray Backdro from vellum and glued it onto the inked background.

And since I was already die cutting I cut the Hello Baby die again from white cardstock and glued it down as my top layer so the white text is a bit raised compared to the pink letters. 

I also used the left over pink outlines and glued it behind the text as the last layer so the text is raised a bit and doesn't lay right on the inked background.

I die cut the stars from dark pink, the tails of the shooting stars - you can only see one after I added the images - from silver glitter cardstock and paper pieced them into the background as well.

 

Ich habe den Zug und den Teddy aus dem Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum Stempelset benutzt und mit Copics coloriert. Und naja, sie laden doch geradezu dazu ein, Mäuse dazu zu kombinieren. Die hier sind aus den Sets Dandy Day, Hay There Hayrides Mice Add-On, Crazy Antics und Super Star. Die Maus, die sich in den Bären kuschelt, sitzt eigentlich auf dem Arm einer großen Maus, deswegen musste ich beim Einsetzen etwas kreativ werden. Aber nun passt es doch.

I used the train and the teddy from Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum and colored them with Copics. And aren't they just perfect to add some mice? The ones I used here are from Dandy Day, Hay There Hayrides Mice Add-On, Crazy Antics and Super Star. The mouse, that's cuddling with the bear, is originally sitting on a large mouse's arm so I had to get a bit creative to make it work with the bear. But I managed it.

Die Motive habe ich dann mit 3D Tape auf den Text geklebt. Und auch die kleinen Dampfwölkchen, die aus der Lok kommen, musste ich einfach hinzfügen.

Als Deko habe ich ein paar klare Glitzersteine aufgeklebt und dann den Hintergrund auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I adhered the images with foam tape. And I also had to add the little clouds, that come out of the engine.

I added a few clear rhinestones as decoration and then glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Nun, eigentlich dekoriere ich die Innenseiten meiner Karten eher selten. Aber ich hatte doch noch das Schaukelpferd sowie eine weitere Maus aus Bubbles of Joy coloriert. Die habe ich aber bei bestem Willen nicht mehr auf der Vorderseite der Karte untergebracht. Also durfte sie ausnahmsweise ins Innere. 

Ich habe eine oben gefaltete Karte gemacht, das gefällt mir in so einem Fall irgendwie besser.

Well, I very rarely decorate the insides of my cards. But I also had colored the rocking horse and another mouse from Bubbles of Joy. And there was no way to fit those on the front of the card, too. So I made an exception and put it on the inside.

I used a top folding note card here - I just liked it better in this case.

 

Als Boden habe ich einen Streifen silbernen Glitter-Cardstocks sowie einen schmäleren Streifen dunkel-pinken Cardstocks quer über die Karteninnenseite geklebt. Auf der rechten Seite habe ich mein Motiv darüber angebracht und als Deko zwei Sterne, die ein Überbleibsel aus dem pinkfarbenen Hello Baby Text waren, daneben gesetzt. Ein dritter Stern fand unten links einen Platz.

Und dann habe ich hier noch einen Text mit aufgestempelt. Er ist aus dem Set Little One und mit schwarzer Tinte direkt auf die Karteninnenseite gestempelt.

As a ground I glued a strip of silver glitter cardstock and a thinner strip of dark pink cardstock across the inside of my card. On the right side I placed my image above it and added two stars, that were left overs from the pink Hello Baby text, next to it. A third one I placed to the bottom left.

And then I added a text to the insde. It's from Little One and stamped with black ink directly on the inside of the card.

Eine Baby-Shaker-Card

Als ich die süße Maus aus dem Stempelset Sommer Sonne aus dem Juni-Release von Stampcorner gesehen habe, wusste ich sofort, dass ich sie für eine Babykarte verwenden wollte. Mit dem kleinen Teddy ist sie ja auch perfekt dafür. Und so ziert sie nun diese Shaker Card, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige.

When I saw the cute mouse from the stamp set from Stampcorner's june release I knew that I wanted to make a baby card with it. With that little teddy the mouse is just perfect for that. And so became the star on this shaker card, that I'm sharing on the Stampcorner Blog today. 

Ihr seht es schon, es ist definitiv eine Karte für ein kleines Mädchen... Den weißen Cardstock, den ich für den Hintergrund verwendet habe, habe ich mit Distress Oxide Tattered Rose, Saltwater Taffy und Worn Lipstick gewischt und für den oxidierten Look mit Wasser bespritzt. 

Den Rahmen meines Shakers habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Zuerst habe ich eine der Zickzack Stitch Stanzen ausgestanzt, dann mittig aus dem Stanzteil eine der Rectangle Stitch Stanzen. Den Ausschnitt habe ich dann von hinten mit Folie abgedeckt und den Rahmen mit dickem 3D Tape auf dem Hintergrund befestigt. 

 

As you can see, this is clearly a card for a little girl. The white cardstock that I used for my background I've inked with Distress Oxide Tattered Rose, Saltwater Taffy and Worn Lipstick. Then I splattered wome water onto it for the oxidized effect. 

The frame for my shaker I created from white cardstock. I first die cut one of the Zickzack Stitch dies, then cut one of the Rectangle Stitch dies from the center. I put some acetate behind the window and adhered it with thick foam tape to the background.

 

Bevor ich den Shaker zugeklebt habe, habe ich ihn natürlich gefüllt - es befinden sich darin winzige silberne und rosarote Kügelchen und kleine Herzen und Sterne, gestanzt aus Cardstock in verschiedenen Rot- und Rosatönen. Die Teile waren - immer noch - Überbleibsel meiner Regenbogenkarten und waren praktischerweise bereits fertig auf meinem Tisch.

 Of course I filled my shaker before I put it together - I used tiny silver and rose red beads and small hearts and stars, cut from different tones of pink and red cardstock. Those pieces were - still - left overs from my rainbow cards and were handily laying all cut out already on my table.

Die süße Maus habe ich mit Copics coloriert, die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht. Dann habe ich sie mit der Schere ausgeschnitten und oben auf den Shaker geklebt.

The cute mouse I colored with Copics and added highlights with a white gel pen. Then I fuzzy cut her out and glued her onto the shaker window.

Auch meinen Text habe ich direkt auf das Shaker-Fenster geklebt. 

Die Buchstaben für das Wort Baby habe ich je zweimal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Je einen der Buchstaben habe ich leicht mit Worn Lipstick gewischt und dann etwas versetzt auf den weißen Buchstaben geklebt. 

Die anderen Texte sind aus dem Set Kleine Worte und mit weißem Embossingpulver auf craft farbenen Cardstock embosst. 

Also the text I adhered onto the shaker window.

I die cut each of the letters for the word Baby twice from white cardstock and inked one of each lightly with Worn Lipstick. Then I glued those onto the white letters, offsetting them a bit. 

The other texts mean "hello" and "heartfelt welcome". I white heat embossed them onto kraft colored cardstock.

Die ausgestanzten Buchstaben und die Maus habe ich mit dickem, die kleinen Textstreifen mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. 

Als Deko habe ich dann noch ein paar silberfarbene Pailetten und drei Herzen auf der Karte verteilt und außerdem ein wenig Glitzer auf die gestanzten Buchstaben aufgetragen.

Dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I adhered the mouse and the die cut letters with thick, the text strips with thin foam tape.

As decoration I added a few silver sequins and three white hearts to the card and also put a bit of glitter onto the die cut letters. Then I adhered the shaker to a white note card.

Technique Throwback Thursday April 2024

Heute zeige ich Euch meine Karte zur Technique Throwback Thursday Challenge. Im April geht es darin um eine Karte, die eine tolle Tiefe hat und dabei komplett flach zusammengelegt werden kann. Ich habe beschlossen, eine Babykarte zu machen.

Today I am sharing with you my card for this month's Technique Throwback Thursday challenge. In april it's about a card that has an amazing depth but can be folded flat completly. I decided to make a baby card.

Wie auch Jennifer in ihrem Video habe ich eine oben gefaltete Karte gemacht, so kann man sie toll aufstellen. 

Just like Jennifer in her video I made a top folding card to be able to put on display.

Den "Mechanismus" habe ich aus dunkel-lila farbenem Cardstock gemacht. In den Hintergrund habe ich den aus dem selben Cardstock gestanzten Dotted Moon and Stars Backdrop von LawnFawn gesetzt, den ich mit silber-blauem Glitter-Cardstock hinterlegt habe. Dann habe ich grau-violette Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt. 

Der Aufleger besteht aus einem Stück grau-blauen Cardstock, in den ich in die Mitte ein Wolkenfenster gestanzt habe. Das habe ich mit einer Stanze aus dem Cloudy Sky Set von HeroArts gemacht und Partial DieCutting angewendet um ein Fenster zu gestalten, ohne über den Rand hinaus zu stanzen.

Obenauf kamen dann kleine hellblau-graue Wolken, die ich mit Stanzen aller möglicher Hersteller gemacht habe. Außerdem habe ich Sterne aus dem selben Glitter-Cardstock, mit dem ich den Hintergrund hinterlegt habe, gestanzt und zwischen den Wolken verteilt.

Den hellen Cardstock habe ich am Rand mit etwas Distress Oxide Faded Jeans und Stormy Sky gewischt und außerdem mit einem weißen Gelstift einen Rahmen aufgemalt.

The "mechanism" I cut from dark purple cardstock. I die cut the Dotted Moon and Stars Backdrop from LawnFawn from the same cardstock and put some silver-blue metallic cardstock behind it. Then I added splatters of grey-violett metallic watercolor.

The top layer is made from a piece of grey-blue cardstock, that I cut a cloud window from the center. I die cut that with a die from the Cloudy Sky set by HeroArts, doing partial die cutting to create a window without cutting over the edges of the cardstock. On top I put some small light blue-grey clouds, that I made using dies by all kind of brands. I also die cut stars from the same glitter cardstock that I backed the background with and put them between the clouds.

The edges of the light cardstock I inked lightly with Distress Oxide Faded Jeans and Stormy Sky and also drew a frame with a white gel pen.

Als Motiv habe ich mich für eines der Nordic Bunnies von PoppyStamps entschieden und die Teile aus Cardstock in weiß und verschiedenen Lilatönen gestanzt. Da die Deko eine komplette Stanze ist, hatte ich jeweils mehrere und habe daher diese Teile jeweils aufgedoppelt. Und einen der hell-lila Kreise, die eigentlich das Schwänzchen darstellen, habe ich als Backe mit aufs Gesicht geklebt. Die gestanzte Linie für das Auge habe ich mit einem schwarzen Fineliner nachgemalt und eine Nase mit einem schwarzen Glaze Pen hinzugefügt.

An eines der Ohren des Hasen habe ich eine Schleife aus weißem Twine gebunden. Außerdem habe ich auf den dunklen Teil des "Kragens" kleine weiße Perlen aufgeklebt. Auch auf das Schwänzchen kam eine große weiße Perle.

Den Text habe ich mit Versafine Clair Fantasia auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt - der kleinere Untertext ist aus dem Itty Bitty Baby Stempelset von MFT. Das Hello Baby ist mit dem Henry's Build a Sentiment Spring Set von LawnFawn gemacht. Da es in dem Set kein Hello gibt, habe ich das aus Teilen anderer Stempel zusammengesetzt.

As the image I went with one of the Nordic Bunnies by PoppyStamps and die cut the pieces from cardstock in white and different shades of purple. Sind the decorations are one complete die I had several of each color and so I doubled those pieces up. And one of the light purple circles that usually create the bunny's tail I glued as a cheek onto the face. I re-drew the eye line that gets cut into the cardstock with a black fineliner and added a nose with a black Glaze Pen. 

To one of the bunny's ears I tied a bow from white twone. I also put tiny white pearls onto the dark part of the "collar" and a large one onto the tail.

The text I stamped with Versafine Clair Fantasia onto white carstock - the smaller subtext is from the Itty Bitty Baby set by MFT. The Hello Baby I made with the Henry's Build a Sentiment Spring set by LawnFawn. Since there is no hello in this set I used parts of others texts from the sets to create it.

Und hier könnt Ihr die Tiefe der Karte besser sehen. Der Cardstock mit dem Fenster poppt beim Entnehmen aus dem Umschlag auf und auch der Hase mit dem Hello Baby stehen auf, allerdings sind sie so hinterlegt, dass sie höher aufstehen als der Rahmen. Das sorgt nochmal für eine extra Lage. Den kleineren Text habe ich am Rahmen angeklebt.

Die kleineren Wolken habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape hinterlegt, drumherum habe ich noch ein paar klare Glitzersteine verteilt.

And here you get a better look at the depth of this card. The cardstock with the window pops up when you take it out of the envelope and also the bunny and the hello baby text do that, but they are backed so they stand even higher than the frame. That creates an extra level. The smaller text I adhered to the cloud frame.

I put thin foam tape behind the smaller clouds and scattered a few clear rhinestones around them. 

Eine Karte zur Geburt

Ich durfte eine Karte zur Geburt der kleinen Lina machen. Die Karte ist bereits vor einiger Zeit entstanden, ich konnte sie aber natürlich erst nach der Geburt zeigen.

I was asked to make a card for the birth of little Lina. I have made it some time ago but of course wasn't able to share it before the baby is born.

Als die Karte entstand, hatte ich kurz zuvor eine Triple Card im Hochkantformat, bei der der vorderste Teil nur etwa ein Drittel des mittleren Teils abdeckt, gemacht.  Weil es so viel Spaß gemacht hat, habe ich diese Kartenart hier gleich nochmal umgesetzt.

Die Karte selbst ist aus weißem Cardstock gemacht. Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück hellrosa Cardstock - rosa war die gewünschte Farbe -, den ich mit Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry und ein wenig Aged Mahogany gewischt und dann mit einem Wolkenfolder von Spellbinders geprägt habe. Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. 

 

When I made the card I had just finished a triple card in a portrait orientation, where the top flap only covers about a third of the middle layer. Since it was so much fun to make I made one of those cards again here.

 The card is made from white cardstock. The background was created by inking a piece of light pink cardstock - I was asked to use pink - with Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and a bit of Aged Mahogany, then dry embossing it with a cloud embossing folder by Spellinders. Then I added some splatters with white acrylic paint.

Am Himmel fliegen zwei Heißluftballons aus dem Fly High Stempelset von LawnFawn. Ich habe sie mit der NoLine Coloring Tinte von InkOn3 abgeestempelt und mit Copics in Pink und Weiß coloriert. Die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht.

Zwischen die beiden Heißluftballons habe ich ein "Hurra, ein Mädchen"-Banner aufgehängt. Das habe ich mit einem Stempel von SU gemacht und dann ausgeschnitten. Auf die eigentlich hellrosa gestempelte Schnur habe ich etwas weißes Twine geklebt und rechts und links jeweils eine kleine Schleife angebracht. 

Die Heißluftballons habe ich mit zwei kleinen dunkelrosa Blüten verziert.

Hinten auf den geprägten Wolkenhimmel habe ich einige aus weißem Cardstock gestanzte Wolken aufgeklebt, darauf dann die Heißluftballons samt Banner mit 3D Tape. Drumherum  habe ich einige klare Glitzersteine verteilt.

There are two hot air balloons from the Fly High stamp set by LawnFawn floating in the sky. I stamped them with the NoLine Coloring ink by InkOn3 and colored them pink and white with my Copics.  The highlights are made with a white gel pen. 

Between the two balloons I've hung up a "hooray, it's a girl" banner. I stamped that with a stamp by SU and cut it out. I glued a piece of white twine onto the string that I had stamped with light pink ink and added a bow to each end.

I decorated each of the ballons with a dark pink flower.

I attached  some clouds, die cut from white cardstock, to the embossed cloud background, then adhered the balloons and banner with foam tape. Around them I added some clear rhinestones.

Die vordere Klappe bedeckt ja nur etwa ein Drittel der mittleren Lage. Die Klappe selbst besteht nur aus einem 2 cm hohen Streifen, auf den ich von beiden Seiten eine aus weißem Cardstock gestanzte Wolkenbordüre geklebt habe. Zwischen den beiden Wolkenlagen befindet sich ein Magnet, das Gegenstück  habe ich unter dem rosafarbenen Himmel versteckt. So bleibt die Karte sicher und fest geschlossen. 

Auf die Wolkenlage habe ich den Namen geklebt - die Buchstaben sind mit dem Spell Anything Alphabet von MFT aus dunkelpinkem Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe jeweils zwei Buchstaben aufeinander geklebt und Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt.

Vorne über das L habe ich ein willkommen, mit grauer Tinte auf hellrosa Cardstock gestempelt, aufgeklebt. Der kleine Bär hinter dem a ist aus dem You're Clawsome Set von LawnFawn und wieder in No-Line Technik coloriert. 

Auch hier kamen einige Blüten, diesmal in hellrosa, sowie eine kleine Schleife als Deko zum Einsatz.

The front flap only covers one third of the middle layer. The flap itself is only a strip of cardstock about 1 Inch tall. I glued a cloud border that I cut from white cardstock on top and behind this flap. Between the two cloud layers I put a little magnet, the other one I've hidden behind the pink sky. This way the card stays closed securely.

Onto the cloud border I wrote the name - the letters I've die cut from dark pink cardstock using the Spell Anything Alphabet by MFT. I cut each letter twice and stacked them, then added some highlights with a white gel pen.

Across the L I glued a strip of light pink cardstock, onto which I've stamped a "welcome" with grey ink. The little bear behind the a is from the You're Clawsome stamp set by LawnFawn and again colored in no-line technique. 

Again I added a few small flowers, this time cut from light pink cardstock, and a bow as decorations.

Hier sieht man die nach unten geklappte Wolkenlage, hinter der ich den Text, der sich auf dem pinken Himmel befindet, versteckt habe.

Here you can see the folded down cloud layer, that I've hidden a text, that's on the pink sky layer, behind. 

Das große Wort Glückwunsch ist wieder aus dunkelpinkem Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe dafür die Glückwunsch-Stanze von Create a Smile - ohne die Schattenlage - verwendet.

Komplettiert habe ich den Text hier mit einem "Herzlichen" und einem "zur Geburt", beide genauso wie das "Willkommen" vor dem Namen auf der Wolkenlage aus einem der Kleine Worte Stempelset von Stampcorner. Hier habe ich die Texte mit grauer Tinte auf hellgrauen Cardstock gestempelt.

The text here means "heartfelt congratulations on the birth of your baby". The large word is again cut from the dark pink cardstock using a die by Create a Smile. The smaller texts I stamped with stamps from the Kleine Worte set by Stampcorner with grey ink onto light grey cardstock.

Und dann sollte die Karte eine Möglichkeit bieten, Geld zu verschenken. Also habe ich auf der hintersten, innersten Lage eine kleine Tasche aus rosafarbenem Cardstock eingebaut.

And then the card should have included something to put some money in. So I added a little pocket, made from light pink cardstock, to the inner/third layer of the card.

Auf/in der Karte sollte dieser Text stehen. Da ich dafür keinen Stempel hatte, habe ich ihn am PC geschrieben und ausgedruckt. Dann habe ich ihn in Streifen geschnitten und auf die Tasche geklebt. Als Deko habe ich unten rechts zwei dunkelpinke Blüten, die ich noch übrig hatte, aufgeklebt.

And I was asked to put this text on the inside of the card. Since I didn't have a stamp for that I simply wrote it on my laptop and printed it out. Then I cut it into strips and attached it to the little pocket and decorated it with two dark pink flowers that I had left over.

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Karte, die ich zur Taufe der kleinen Frieda gemacht habe.

Today I am sharing with you the card I made for the baptism of little Frieda. 

Ich habe die Karte bewusst eher einfach und fröhlich-hell gehalten. An rosa bin ich aber dann doch nicht vorbeigekommen....

I kept the card pretty simply and light, but still couldn't stop myself from using pink....

Auf ein Stück weißen Cardstocks habe ich erstmal einen Regenbogen in verschiedenen Pinktönen sowie Silber foliert. Die Farben sieht man hier leider nicht so toll, die Folie glänzt einfach zu sehr und die Farben wirken nicht. Ich habe hier das Regenbogen Hotfoil Set von Creative Depot verwendet. Dadurch, dass die Bögen einzeln sind, dauert das Folieren zwar etwas länger, man kann aber jeden Bogen in einer eigenen Farbe folieren. Ich habe hier - von außen nach innen - Pink, Hologramm-Pink, Matt-Rosa sowie Hologramm-Silber benutzt. 

Der große Fisch mit dem Kreuz ist eine Stanze von Rayher. Ich habe vier lagen aus weißem Cardstock gestapelt und obenauf einen Fisch, den ich aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt habe, aufgeklebt.

Der Text "zur Taufe" ist aus dem Set Kleine Worte 2 von Stampcorner. Und weil das Datum mit auf die Karte sollte, habe ich es dahinter gestempelt. Die Texte sind direkt mit schwarzer Tinte auf den weißen Cardstock gestempelt.

Dann habe ich noch ein paar kleine rosafarbene Blüten ausgestanzt und als Deko auf dem Regenbogen geklebt. Die Blütenmitten bestehen aus kleinen weißen Perlen, von denen ich einige mehr als Deko auf dem Cardstock verteilt habe.

I first hotfoiled a rainbow in different shades of pink and silver onto a piece of white cardstock. You really can't see the colors here, the foil is too shiny and the colors look different. I used the Regenbogen hotfoil set by Creative Depot here. Since each arch is a different hotfoil plate, foiling the rainbow takes a bit longer, but you can use a different colored foil for each arch. I went - from outside in - with pink, holographic pink, matte pink and holographic silver.

The big fish with the cross is made with a die by Rayher. I stacked four layers of white cardstock and put a fish cut from matte silver metallic cardstock, on top.

The text means "for your baptism". And since I was asked to put the date on the card I stamped that behind the text. I used black ink and stamped the text and date directly onto the white cardstock.

Then I die cut a few tiny pink flowers and glued those onto the rainbow. I used tiny white pearls as the flower centers and added a few more all over the cardstock.

Auch der Name sollte auf die Karte. Und weil ich schon beim Folieren war, habe ich auch die Buchstaben dafür mit der pinkfarbenen Folie, die ich auch für den größten der Bögen des Regenbogens verwendet habe, foliert. Ich habe die Essential Alpha Hotfoil Plate von Altenew benutzt und die Buchstaben mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt. 

Weil die recht weißen Buchstaben auf dem weißen Cardstock etwas untergingen, habe ich dahinter noch Pinselstriche von MarianneDesign mit Distress Ink Lost Shadow aufgestempelt und darauf dann mit dünnem 3D Tape die Buchstaben aufgeklebt.

Und darunter habe ich dann noch ein "Gott schütze Dich" mit schwarzer Tinte aufgestempelt. Der Text ist von Charlie und Paulchen und eigentlich etwas gebogen - ich habe ihn zum Stempeln einfach geradegebogen. 

Also the name should go on the card. And since I had all my hotfoil stuff out already, I used the same pink foil that I had also foiled the largest arch of the rainbow with, to hotfoil the letters for the name as well. I used the Essential Alpha Hotfoil Plate by Altenew and cut the letters out with the maching cutting die. 

Since the letters with all the white kind of blended into the background I stamped two brush strokes by MarianneDesign with Distress Ink Lost Shadow onto the background, then glued the letters with thin foam tape on top. 

And under it I stamped a "god bless you" with black ink.

Hier kann man den Glanz und auch die Farben der Folien etwas besser sehen. 

Ich habe mit einem klaren Glitter-Gelstift einen feinen Rahmen auf den weißen Cardstock gemalt. Dann habe ich ihn grau gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I used a clear glitter gel pen to draw a fine frame onto the white cardstock. Then I matted it grey and attached it to a white card base.

Eine Babykarte mit Regenbogen

Im Januar stellt sich mir immer die Frage, was ich thematisch umsetzen soll. Babykarten kann man immer gebrauchen - und deswegen zeige ich heute auf dem Kulricke Blog diese farbenfrohe und vielleicht nicht ganz so typische Babykarte.

In january I always wonder, what to make cards for. It never hurts to have a few baby cards on hand - and so I'm sharing this colorful baby card over on the Kulricke Blog today. 

Ich war ein wenig hin und her gerissen, ob ein Regenbogen für eine Babykarte passend ist. Viele - und auch ich - verbinden das ja inzwischen mit Regenbogen-Babies. Aber dann habe ich mich doch dazu entschieden und die Karte gefällt mir richtig gut, besonders weil sie mal nicht in Pastelltönen daherkommt. 

Basis war ein Stück weißen Cardstocks, den ich später einfach auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt habe.

 

I was a bit torn weather I want to use a rainbow on a baby card. Many - me included - have rainbow babies in mind. But then I decided to go with it and I realy like the card, especially because it's not made in those soft pastels we often use for baby cards.

As the base I simply used a piece of white carstock, that I attached to a white card base later.

 

 Aus dem weißen Cardstock habe ich mit dem Regenbogen-Stanzenset zuerst die vier Bögen ausgestanzt. Die habe ich dann von der Rückseite her mit rotem, gelben, türkisfarbenem und lilafarbenem Cardstock hinterlegt. Dafür musste ich die Rundungen passend mit der Schere schneiden, was natürlich etwas aufwändiger ist. Aber ich wollte unbedingt, dass die Papiere hinter dem weißen Cardstock liegen und die dünnen Bögen/Zwischenräume darauf. Einfacher geht es natürlich, wenn Ihr die gleichen Stanzen nochmal verwendet, die Bögen aus farbigem Cardstock stanzt und dann in die Ausstanzungen hineinsetzt. 

Mit dem Regenbogen-Stempelset habe ich dann die Muster auf die Cardstockbögen embosst und dafür weißes Embossingpulver verwendet. 

Die Zwischenräume/schmalen Bögen im weißen Cardstock habe ich mit Copics in orange, grün und blau, also den fehlenden Farben des Regenbogens, eingefärbt. 

Die Wolken sind ebenfalls aus dem Set Regenbogen. Ich habe sie schwarz abgestempelt, mit Copics ein wenig schattiert, per Hand ausgeschnitten und unten ans Ende des Regenbogens geklebt.

Die Texte sind aus den Stempelsets Beste Wünsche Reverse und Zur Hochzeit Reverse. Ich habe sie mit schwarzer Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und rund um den Regenbogen angeordnet. Und für das ausgestanzte Baby habe ich eine alte Stanze von Kulricke benutzt. Ich wollte einfach das Wort Baby mit auf der Karte haben. Es ist aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt, rosa wäre hier für ein Mädchen aber natürlich ebenfalls eine Option.

From white cardstock I first die cut the four arches of the rainbow using the Regenbogen die set. Then I put some red, yellow, aqua and purple cardstock behind the cut outs. I had to use my scissors to make the cardstock match the arches, which of course takes a bit more time. But I really wanted my colored cardstock to be behind the white cardstock and the thin areas between the arches on top. Of course you can also die cut the arches again from colored cardstock and put them into the cut outs to make life a bit easier. 

Using the Regenbogen stamp set I white heat embossed the patterns onto the pieces of colored cardstock. 

With my Copics I colored the small areas between the cut out arches orange, green and blue to add the missing rainbow colors.

The clouds also come in the Regenbogen stamp set. I stamped them with black ink, shaded them lightly with my Copics, cut them out and glued them to the bottom of the rainbow.

The texts are stamped with black ink onto white cardstock, cut out and arraged around the rainbow - they mean welcome and all the best for your future. Then I added a die cut word baby using an older die by Kulricke. I cut that from light blue cardstock, but for a girl of course pink would be an option here as well.

Wie Ihr hier sehen könnt, habe ich die Textstreifen sowie die kleineren Wolken mit dünnem 3D Tape auf dem Cardstock befestigt. Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar silberne Stern-Konfetti auf der Karte verteilt.

As you can see here I did use thin foam tape to attach the text strips and the smaller clouds. Then I just added a few silver star shaped confetti. 

Eine Shaker Card mit Gutschein zur Geburt

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Shaker Card, bei der sich ein Gutschein zwischen all dem Shaker-Material versteckt. Die Idee kommt von Jennifer McGuire - sie hatte im Sommer ein Video dazu gepostet. Und nun hatte ich endlich Gelegenheit, sie auszuporbieren.

Today I am sharing a shaker card, where there is a giftcard put between all the shaker material. The idea is by Jennifer McGuire - she shared a video sometime this summer and now I finally had the chance to try it out.

 

Das Geheimnis der Karte ist eine Folientasche, mit deren Hilfe ein Flat Shaker gemacht wird, dessen oberes Ende aber über die obere Kante der Karte gefaltet und innen mit einem Stück Washitape befestigt wird. So kann man die Gutscheinkarte ganz einfach aus dem Shaker herausfischen, und trotzdem ist die Karte hinterher immer noch schön.

Für die restlichen Bilder habe ich die Gutscheinkarte nochmal herausgenommen.

 

The secret behind this card is an acetate bag, that is used to make a flat shaker, but the open end gets just folded over the edge of the card and then fixed on the inside of the card with a piece of washi tape. This way you can easily take out the giftcard and the card will still look beautiful without it.

I took out the giftcard for the rest of the pictures.

 

Ich habe hier erst den Dotted Moon and Stars Backdrop von LawnFawn aus silbernem Metallic Cardstock gestanzt und mit weißem Cardstock hinterlegt. Damit die Karte dem deutschen Format entspricht, habe ich den Hintergrund zuvor etwas zugeschnitten. Dann habe ich den Cardstock vorsichtshalber in der Klarsichttasche festgeklebt - ich habe hier übrigens eine Stempel-Verpackung wiederverwertet. Eine andere Tasche wäre sicher etwas schöner gewesen, vor allem am unteren Rand, wo ich den Teil mit dem Aufhänger weggeschnitten habe, man aber immer noch die geriffelte Naht sieht. Aber ich finde, etwas Recycling beim Basteln ist doch auch gut. Gefüllt habe ich den Shaker dann mit kleinen silbernen und noch kleineren antrazitfarbenen Sternchen. 

 

I first die cut the Dotted Moon and Stars Backdrop by LawnFawn from silver metallic cardstock and put some white cardstock behind it. To make the card a german standard sized card I cut the silver background down a bit. Then - just to be safe - I glued the back of the cardstock to the inside of the acetate bag. By the way, I used a stamp packaging here. For sure a different bag would have been nicer, especially on the bottom edge where I cut off the piece with the triangle cut out to hang the stamp sets and where the seam is still visible. But I think, doing a bit of recycling on my crafts is a good thing. I then filled the shaker with some small silver and even smaller anthrazit star confetti.

 

 

Für die Deko habe ich mit dem Impact Alphabet von MFT die Buchstaben für den Namen Luis dreimal aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt und aufeinander geklebt. Dann habe ich den Namen auf einem ovalen Teppich - genauso wie der kleine Hase aus dem Rock-a-Bye Baby Stanzenset von HoneybeeStamps - aus dunkelblauem Cardstock geklebt. 

Neben den Buchstaben war dann Platz für den bereits erwähnten Hasen, einen Ball, einen Baulaster und eine kleine Burg aus Bausteinen. Den Hasen und den Laster - gemacht mit einer Stanze von Gummiapan - habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, die anderen beiden Motive sind aus dem Stempelset Little Elf Agenda von MamaElephant. Alle Teile habe ich mit Copics coloriert. 

Die Texte sind mit den Stempelset Kleine Worte und Kleine Worte 2 von Stampcorner gemacht und weiß auf dunkelblauen Cardstock embosst. 

For my decoration I die cut the letters for the name Luis three times from light blue cardstock, using the Impact Alphabet die set by MFT. Then I attached the name to an oval carpet, that comes in the Rock-a-Bye Baby die set just like the rabbit, cut from dark blue cardstock. 

Next to the name there was room for the rabbit, a ball, a construction truck and a little castle built from blocks. The bunny and the truck - that's a die by Gummiapan - I've die cut from white cardstock, the other two images are from the Little Elf Agenda stamp set by MamaElephant. I colored all pieces with Copics.

The text means "a welcome from the heart" and "so happy you're born". I white heat embossed them onto dark blue cardstock.

Zum Aufkleben der Deko habe ich teilweise 3D Tape verwendet. Dann habe ich den Flat Shaker auf einen Kartenrohling geklebt. Der ist ein klein wenig größer  als eine normale Karte, sonst hätte die Folientasche seitlich übergestanden. Und da ich den silbernen Hintergrund im Shaker weiß hinterlegt hatte, habe ich die Karte diesmal aus hellblauem Cardstock geschnitten, für etwas Kontrast.

To adhere the elements I partly used foam tape. Then I attached the flat shaker to a note card. The card is slightly larger than a standard sized card. I had to make it this size to make sure, the acetate bag would have hung over the sides of the card. And since I had put some white cardstock behind the silver background I used light blue cardstock to cut the card base from - for some contrast.
