Heute startet die Oktober-Challenge bei Stampcorner. Und unser Thema für diesen Monat lautet "Herbstfarben". Das bedeutet auch, dass Ihr nicht unbedingt eine Herbstkarte machen müsst, solange die Farbwahl herbstlich ist. Ich habe eine Mini-Slimline Card in Herbstfarben gemacht.

Today the october challenge by Stampcorner goes life. And our theme for this month is "autumal colors". That also means, you don't necessarily have to make a fall card, as long as you use fall-ish colors. I made a mini slimline card.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück kraftfarbenen Cardstock verwendet und mit Blättern dekoriert. Dafür habe ich die Fall Leaves Stencil von LawnFawn sowie Distress Oxides Shabby Shutters, Bundled Sage und Forest Moss für die grünen Blätter und Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire und Aged Mahogany für die orange-roten Blätter benutzt. Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe über den Cardstock gespritzt und nur an den Beeren im Design ein paar Highlights mit einem weißen Gelpen hinzugefügt.
Aus dem dunkelbraunen Woodgrain Cardstock von LawnFawn habe ich dann mit zwei der Stanzen aus dem Mini Slimline and Envelope Stanzenset von Carilijn Design einen Rahmen ausgestanzt. Damit man die Holzmaserung auf dem dünnen Rahmen besser sieht, habe ich ein relativ trockenes weißes Stempelkissen vorsichtig über den Cardstock gezogen und so nur die erhabenen Linien etwas aufgehellt. Dann habe ich den Cardstock mit den Blätter hinter den Rahmen und anschließend beides auf eine weiße Mini Slimline Card geklebt. Die habe ich mit einer weiteren Stanze aus dem selben Mini Slimline Stanzenset ausgestanzt.
For the background I used a piece of craft colored cardstock and decorated it with fall leaves. I used the Fall Leaves Stencil by LawnFawn and Distress Oxide Shabby Shutters, Bundled Sage and Forest Moss for the green leaves, as well as Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire and Aged Mahogany for the orange-red leaves. Then I spritzed some white acrylic paint over the leafes and used a white gel pen to add some highlights just to the berries in the pattern.
From LawnFawn's dark brown Woodgrain cardstock I die cut a scalloped frame, using two dies from the Mini Slimline and Envelope die set by Carilijn design. To make the wood pattern better visible on this pretty thin frame I used a quite dry white ink pad and carefullly dragged it over the frame to only enlighten the raised lines a bit. Then I glued the cardstock with the leaves behind the frame and then glued both onto a white mini slimline card that I've die cut using another die from the same mini slimline die set.
Als Motiv habe ich mich für diese gestapelten Gruselkürbisse von CraftEmotions entschieden. Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert.
Als Deko habe ich hinter den Kürbissen ein paar Blätter aus zwei verschiedenen grünen Cardstocks sowie ein paar Ranken aus braunem Cardstock geklebt. Die habe ich mit Stanzen aus dem Pumpkin House Stanzenset von LawnFawn gemacht.
As the image I went with these stacked pumpkins by CraftEmotions. I colored them in with Copics.
As a background for the pumpkins I added a few leaves and tendrils, die cut from green and dark brown cardstock with dies from the Pumpkin House die set by LawnFawn.
Den Text habe ich im oberen Bereich der Karte aufgeklebt.
Die Stempel sind alle aus dem Stempelset Scripty Autumn Sentiments von LawnFawn und golden embosst - das Wort autumn auf grünen, der Rest des Textes auf dunkelbraunen Cardstock. Das Wort autumn habe ich per Hand ausgeschnitten, die anderen Texte mit dem kleinsten der Wavy Banners.
I glued the text onto the upper area of my card.
All stamps are from the Scripty Autumn Sentiments stamp set by LawnFawn and golden heat embossed - the word autumn onto green, the rest of the sentiments onto dark brown cardstock. Then I fussy cut out the word autumn, the other two texts I've cut out using the smallest of the Wavy Banners.
Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar kleine goldene Pailetten auf der Karte verteilt.
In the end I added a few small golden sequins to my card.
