Als ich vor kurzem auf der Suche nach einem Motiv für mein nächstes Projekt über das Möhrchenhafte Ostern Set von Stampcorner gestolpert bin, kam mir, dass der Text ja perfekt zur Karottenbox von LawnFawn passen würde. Und wie ich die gestaltet habe, zeige ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog.

A little ago I was going through my stamps looking for an idea for my next project. I came across the Möhrchenhafte Ostern set by Stampcorner and realized, that the text would work perfectly with the carrot box die by LawnFawn. And the finished box I am sharing on the Stampcorner Blog today.
Ich finde die Box klasse - vor allem den Verschluss. Denn hier muss man die Box nicht unbedingt zubinden, was ich beim Öffnen dann immer recht störend finde. Aber hier sind in die Stanze Stecklaschen mit eingebaut. Außerdem hat die fertige Box eine tolle Größe.
I love this box - especially the way it closes. You don't have to necessarily use twine or ribbon here, something I always think is really disturbing when you have to open the box. But this die cuts little flaps and slits, that close the box. The finished box also has a great size.
Wie schon gesagt, habe ich die
Karotte mit der Carrot Box Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht - das Grün aus
hellgrünem, die Karotte selbst aus hellorange farbenem Cardstock. Die
Karottenteile habe ich mit Distress Oxide Spiced Marmalade gewischt,
dann habe ich mit Crackling Campfire einige Streifen quer aufgewischt.
Außerdem habe ich diese Teile mit kupferfarbener Metallic Watercolor
bespritzt.
Das Karottengrün habe ich mit Cracked Pistacchio und Lucky Clover gewischt.
As already mentioned did I
use the Carrot Box die by LawnFawn to create my carrot - the green I cut from
light green, the carrot from light orange cardstock. I inked the orange
pieces with some Distress Oxide Spiced Marmalade, then added a few
streaks with Crackling Campfire. I also splattered some copper metallic
watercolor on those orange pieces.
The green of the carrot I inked with Cracked Pistacchio and Lucky Clover.
Als Motiv musste dann natürlich ein Hase auf die Box. Der ist aus dem Set Hasengrüße. Da er fast ein wenig traurig aussieht, wie er sich so die Augen wischt, habe ich überlegt, wie ich ihn modifizieren könnte. Die Karotte aus dem Möhrchenhafte Ostern Set war da perfekt. Die habe ich, genauso wie den Hasen, mit Copics coloriert, Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt und ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich mit dem Cutter einen Schlitz entlang des Arms ins Motiv gemacht und die Karotte von hinten durchgeschoben. Aus der Karotte habe ich zuvor mit der Schere ein Eckchen herausgeschnitten und die Kante schwarz eingefärbt. Nun sieht es so aus, als hätte der Hase hier schon ein Stückchen abgebissen.
Den Text habe ich mit schwarzer Tinte auf hellgrünen Cardstock gestempelt und mit einer Gras-Borderstanze die Kante oberhalb des Textes ausgestanzt. Dann habe ich den Hasen hinter das Gras gesetzt und beides mit dünnem 3D Tape auf die Box geklebt.
Of course I had to use a bunny as my image. This one is from the Hasengrüße set. Since he looks a bit sad the way he's wiping his eye with his paw I was looking for a way to change him a bit. The carrot from the Möhrchenhafte Ostern set was perfect. I colored it with Copics, just like I did the bunny, added highlights with a white gel pen and cut both images out. Then I used a cutter to make a slit along the bunny's arm and put the carrot through it from the back. Before I had cut a little piece out of the carrot and used a black marker along the edge of this cut. Now it looks like the bunny already took a bite out of the carrot.
The easter greeting text I stamped with black ink onto light green cardstock and used a grass border die to cut the edge above the text. Then I put the bunny behind the grass and adhered both to the box with thin foam tape.
Das Karottengrün habe ich auch noch ein wenig dekoriert. Ich habe ein Stück weißes Twine nur um das vordere Grün gewickelt - so muss man es zum Öffnen der Box nicht abnehmen - und habe es mit einer Schleife geschlossen. Dabei habe ich einen kleinen Tag mit angebunden. Der ist ebenfalls aus dem Set Hasengrüße. Ich habe ihn mit Copics leicht schattiert und dann ein Herz, das neben einem der Texte aus dem Set gestempelt wird, darauf gesetzt. Es ist mit orangener Tinte abgestempelt.
Und auch für eine kleine Blume, auch wieder aus dem Set, war noch Platz. Die habe ich ebenfalls mit orangefarbener Tinte gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und ans Grün geklebt.
I also decorated the carrot green a it. I wrapped a piece of white twine just around the front of the two green parts - this way you don't have to untie it when you want to open the box - and tied it wo a bow. I also added a little tag to it. It's from the same Hasengrüße stamp set. I colored it with Copics and stamped a little heart with orange ink onto it.
And there was also room for a little flower from the same set. Again I stamped it with orange ink, cut it out and adhered it to the green.
