Hello Sunshine

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Vor kurzem war so ein schöner, sonniger Tag - er hat mich zu dieser sehr gelben und sonnigen Karte inspieriert.

It was a very nice, sunny day - it inspired me to make this yellow and sunny card.

Der Hintergrund ist mit einer Layering Stencil von PinkFresh gemacht. Basis war ein Stück ganz hellgelben Cardstocks, die drei Strahlenlagen der Stencil habe ich dann mit Distress Ink Scattered Straw, Squeezed Lemonade und Mustard Seed aufgewischt. Da die Distress Inks nicht deckend sind, wirken die Strahlen an den Stellen, an denen sie übereinander liegen, nochmal anders. 

Dann habe ich noch weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

The background is made using a layering stencil by PinkFresh. I used a piece of very light yellow cardstock, then inked the three layers of the stencil down with Distress Ink Scattered Straw, Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed. Since the Distress Inks aren't opaque, the rays create even more tones of yellow in the areas, where they are layered. 

Then I spattered some white acrylic paint onto the cardstock. 

Aus der Mitte des Hintergrunds habe ich dann die Hello Sunshine Stanze von MFT gestanzt. Zusätzlich habe ich sie viermal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Hinter den gewischten Hintergrund habe ich eine Lage weißen Cardstocks und darauf, in die passenden Ausstanzungen, jeweils einen der weißen Buchstaben. Darauf kam dann ein weiterer weißer Buchstabe, den ich etwas nach links und unten versetzt habe, so dass später ein weißer Schatten sichtbar ist. Die übrigen Buchstaben habe ich, mit den aus den Hintergrund gestanzten, aufeinander- und dann wieder an die Stelle, aus der gestanzt wurden, aufgeklebt. So habe ich quasi eine Eclipse Technik mit Schatten gestaltet.

Das O in Hello habe ich durch eine Sonne aus einem der Platform Pop-Up Add-On Sets von LawnFawn ersetzt. Die habe ich wieder aus dem hellgelben Cardstock gestanzt und mit den Distress Inks an den Rändern etwas abgedunkelt.

Die süße Maus ist aus dem Just Plane Awesome Set von LawnFawn. Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Den Trail habe ich direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt, und zwar ganz am Anfang, noch bevor ich den Text daraus gestanzt habe.

Aus dem Slimline Clouds Stanzenset von WhimsyStamps habe ich drei der kleinen Wolkenstanzen verwendet und Wolken aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und rund um den Text verteilt.

From the center of the background I die cut the Hello Sunshine die by MFT. I also cut it four times from white cardstock. Behind the inked background I put a piece of white cardstock, then glued one set of the white letters into their places in the background. Then I glued another set of white letters onto the background, moving it a bit to the bottom left so I end up with a white shadow later. I stacked the rest of the letters, putting the onces cut from the background, on top and then glued them back into the background, exactly onto the spot where they were cut from. It's kind of an eclipse technique with a white shadow inbetween.

I replaced the O in hello with a sun from one of the Platform Pop-Up Add-On sets by LawnFawn. I cut it again from the light yellow cardstock and darkened the edges with the Distress colors I had already used for the rays.

The cute mouse is from the Just Plane Awesome set by LawnFawn. I colored her with Copics and cut her out. The trail I stamped directly onto the background - I did this as one of the first steps, even before cutting the text from it.

Using some of the small clouds from the Slimline Clouds die set by WhimsyStamps I cut three clouds from white cardstock and arranged them around the text.

Durch die vielen Lagen sind die Buchstaben relativ hoch, ich wollte die Sonne und die Maus im Flieger noch etwas höher haben. Deswegen habe ich die Sonne und die Maus mit 3D Tape darauf geklebt. Auch hinter der Wolke oben befindet sich dünnes 3D Tape, die Wolke rechts ist nur minimal höher als die Buchstaben. Und die große Wolke unten habe ich direkt auf den Cardstock geklebt.

Mit einem goldenen Gelstift habe ich Highlights auf die Buchstaben gemalt. Dann habe ich einige goldene Perlen als Deko aufgeklebt und alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling angebracht.

Due to all the layers the letters are quite high, I wanted the sun and the mouse in the plane to be even higher. So I glued those onto the letters with foam tape. Also behind the cloud at the top of the card I put some thin foam tape, the clouds next to the E is just a tad bit higher than the letters. And the large clouds I glued directly onto the cardstock.

I used a gold gel pen to add some highlights to the letter, then glued some gold pearls around the text and adhered everthing to a white note card.
